Have to forget again? Is she saying that your amnesia will come around to fuck you in the ass again, but this time deliberately triggered by something or somebody? Or is this shit cyclical - like something out of those stupid Western movies that use amnesia as some sort of shitty plot device to throw the viewer in the thick of things and skip much-needed backstory and world-building?

"..." NECO seems to grow silent here, her expression suddenly wary. As if she wasn't expecting you to pick up on that. "I don't know, exactly," the young girl finally murmurs. "There's...Malal left me enough information about stuff I should know, but about you, specifically? About your amnesia?" She shakes her head.

"I don't think even she knew anything about it, besides the fact that it's there, and it could relapse at any time. She just made sure that if it did relapse, then you'd have something to remind you, nya."
>>
>>29146467

Hnh. Alright. You're not convinced she's telling everything, but that's fine. You'll get back to that later.

You then ask her about the passwords the app keeps asking you for. You're still missing a few, here. If she's as buddy-buddy with Malal as she says she is, then she could probably give you the remaining two passwords to unlock the rest, right?

NECO blinks at this. "Well, er...I guess I could, nya...I know some, but obviously not everything. You know how Malal's like." It's here that she holds out a hand. "Here, lemme see your smartphone for a minute, I'll enter it for you, nya."

What do you do?

[]Hand over your smartphone.
[]...No. Just tell me and I'll enter it myself.

There's a bunch of people saying to show her the Chirpee feed, and I was one of them. But now I think it's better if we don't. We let her find out on her own. After taking certain measures.

After hearing her sob story, we should convene with Sayaka and discuss The Plan. Which is to give the filthy assistant's takeover as much ground as it can possibly get. We're warmaster, we can have the entire fucking building subscribe to the feed and clamoring for MOAR IDOL GOSSIP and other such vapid nonsense. Keep this up all day. Have her go out and spread the word since us leaving would raise all kinds of alarms.

In the meantime, we go back and give NECO everything she wants except access to her Chirpee feed (say we're sanitizing her phone or something and that we don't give ours out for reasons). Give her the interview with Chiaki. Give her the interview with Midori. Hell, introduce her to Kumatora, the MG we trained. Keep her busy while giving the filthy assistant a swelled head.

But eventually we'll have to say goodbye. Maybe give her a job offer. NECO will likely decline unless the hat does its magic. And so we part... and NECO discovers her Chirpee feed hijacked. No biggie, just shoo out the rabble and everything goes back to normal right?

Wroooooooooong! The office rallies for MOAR IDOL GOSSIP and wonders who this skank reporter is, flooding her with demands to do more idol stuff and put filthy assistant back in charge. She could, you know, make another Chirpee, but by then the damage to her ego and reputation should be done. And we'll have her crawling back to us, begging for a means to put her journalistic integrity to use other than... IDOL GOSSIP!

...Yeah, now that I type it all out, it actually sounds kind of dumb. Let's just go with the hat and save the revenge for later.

[x]No, just tell me.

Handing her phone is a BAD, BAD idea because a) she could send a text to a contact and cause all kinds of trouble or generally contact someone (such as Sayaka) and cause all kinds of trouble, b) we don't know if pinky knows of our progress on the phone,
c)she might try and break it, which admittedly is a minor convenience but still, and d)After last time's proceeding we need to get some kind of grip on the situation.

[x]...No. Just tell me and I'll enter it myself.
Not even a NECO thing, no way are we letting others handle that phone unless required to.
>>
The other thing to note is that if she lists off all the passwords she knows, we get to see what info Malal thought to trust her with. It's a good way to gauge what she may or may not know.
>>
By the way, a couple of conclusions that were reached from last night's threads:
-As a journalist, she's been through some shit in terms of physical torture and threats in general. Violence at this stage may not prove useful, at least until she's been worn down some.
-Magical tactics may work - although it will make her an enemy, suggestions such as cutting her off from stimuli for some time or threatening to wipe her memories of Mala were thrown around. Chances our she's seen all the regular torture techiques we know of.
-Sayaka is just outside the room, so doing anything which may cause any major sounds won't work in our favour in case she tries to justice our ass - she knows and is very invested in Izumi/NECO.
-The plan, IIRC, was "listen to her story in her entirety, then dismiss it and try to found out whatever we really want before deciding what to do about her".

"For real?" NECO frowns, before shrugging. "It wasn't, like, I was gonna use up your minutes or break it or something, nya. But that's okay, I can just tell you." It's here that she toys with her handcuffs, tugging at it absently. "Hnn. Let me try and remember...you're missing two more, right? If that's the case, then you're probably still at the first set..."

The first set? There's OTHER sets, besides the one you're currently trying to unlock?

"I'm...I guess? Look, I keep telling you, Malal didn't tell me everything, nya!" The blonde girl snaps at you, before holding her free hand up to her forehead, her brow furrowing. "Urrr...first set, first set...AH!" Her eyes go wide, before pointing towards you. "GREEN! You haven't tried that one yet, right? Right?"

You narrow your eyes at NECO, before pulling out your smartphone from your inventory. ...No, you haven't tried that yet. How did she know that?

"You keep getting hung up on the details, nya." NECO shakes her head here, looking all smug again. "Just try it out and see!"

Well, even if you wanted to try it out, you can't. The journal app locks itself after every entry unlock, didn't she know that? And you just unlocked two of them last night, so it's probably going to be a few days before...uh...

You blink at your smartphone screen.

And there, right in the middle of the display, is the journal app. Unlocked and asking for a password.

You look up at NECO, the girl only looking more and more self-satisfied by the second.

How did she know that--

"Magic! Or, more honestly, I don't really know, nya!" NECO grins, seemingly content enough to take credit for it. "Go ahead and enter it anyway, see what we get!"

Right. Whatever.

You glare down at your phone and tap out the five-letter password carefully.

Just remember - the most dangerous Callidus is the one you invite into your bed. Or to live in your apartment.]

[Oh, and don't eat the banana ramen. It'll make you crazy sick. Like wow.]

"What?! At least give me a few juicy details, nya! I'm the one who gave you the password in the first place, you could at least share!"

Yes, and you're the one who decides if she gets to walk out of her with her kneecaps intact, you return easily, leaning back on your folding chair. So what's the second password?

"Urrr...fine, if you're going to be that way." NECO pouts here, rather cutely at that - reminding you of a certain brown-haired arms dealer that you should probably visit sometime soon, or at least give a call. "Second one's sort of a nasty word, but you always use it, so that's kind of moot, I suppose, nya..."

A nasty word? Well, which one is it, then? Because you know plenty.

"Well, I don't like to use it myself," NECO shakes her head here, and you catch her glancing at your hat again. "But you use it a lot to refer to Sayaka-chan, I guess? Something about her attitude?"

...Huh. That's...that's oddly specific. And rather mean of Malal, actually. You had an idea that she had a coarse attitude, what with the whole juvenile delinquent thing, but...

You shake your head, and tap out Sayaka's nickname on the dialog.

Supressing a grin as you do so.

B I T C H

...Yeah. Very mature, Murderface.

[PASSWORD ACCEPTED.]

[UNLOCKING ENTRY #3]

[1/2]
>>
>>29147492

[Let's not kid ourselves - you're hoping to find out about Miki Sayaka, right? What a cheeky thing to enter. It's true, though - you're not the only one that talks about Legendary Bitch Blueberry-chan. She's got a pretty nasty reputation all around the world, that way. I'd say there's a certain sort of woman that likes that, though - she attracts redheads from all over, the kinds Miss Sakura doesn't even know about. That's just gossip, though.]

[You two don't really get along - or haven't in the past - but she's still probably the one person you'll always be able to rely on. That's just how she is. Miki Sayaka is a hero. That's all there is to it. She may be an idiot, but she'll always do what she believes is right, no matter what the cost is. Just try to keep her from paying too much. Sakura Kyouko can't handle everything alone.]

It's here, then, that a dialog appears - one notifying you that 10 out of 10 entries had been unlocked, and SET I had been completed. Another dialog opens after a few seconds - this time telling you that SET II was now available for unlocking.

...Fucking hell.

"Alright, now you gotta let me see, nya. I know that unlocked something, you were grinning!" NECO points at you accusingly, her brow furrowing. "Come on, at least read out a paragraph or two!"

How do you react?
>>

You glance at NECO before tapping your phone against the heel of your hand. ...Well, for a pain in the ass that you'd been itching to pump a few bullets into, she has been cooperating, so why not. Throwing her a bone wouldn't be remiss right now.

You make a show of looking at your screen and paraphrasing the journal entries she'd just helped unlocked. Something about Sayaka being a massive bitch, one that is known as such around the whole world - as well as the bit about banana ramen being the tastiest thing NECO could ever hope to taste. That should be enough for her, right?

"Eh? She said that, really?" NECO's brow furrows in puzzlement. "Well, I guess the first one's more like her, but the second...I thought she hated that crap? Then again, she really likes weird stuff, so..." The blonde young woman shakes her head. "Yeah, okay, sure. Why not? She's always been like that, nya."

Hnh. Well. You weren't expecting her to fall for that, but she seems satisfied, at least.

"Well, I don't think you've got any reason to lie to me, Chiaki-nyan. Can I call you Chiaki-nyan?" NECO smiles - not a smug one, but one that at least smacks SOME sincerity. "I mean, of course there's the possibility that you are, but it's not the first time I was lied to. Not the first time this happened, either." She shakes her handcuffed wrist, making the chains jingle. "But I've been able to manage so far, nya."

Well, she has, you'll give her that. Until Kyoko and Kumatora caught up with her. Until she made the mistake of spying on your date with Midorin.

"You're still sore about that?" NECO makes a face, here. "Alright, alright, I can tell, nya. And I know I was kinda, like, really mean earlier? But my point stands, you know. A lot of people are looking at you and wondering when the next time you'll freak out during a joint op and wipe them out. They're looking at you and the Ninth, Chiaki-nyan. Looking really, really hard and close."

...

"So hey, I got a really cool idea." Her face brightens up as she leans forward again, both hands on her knees. "I know you don't trust me, and I'm pretty sure you're itching to shoot my kneecaps off, and all. Or maybe in the face or something."

She shakes her head. "But maybe, just maybe, Chiaki-nyan, we can all set that aside and help each other. After all, I've been totally helpful, right? I even told you my tragic backstory, so we're cool now, riiiight? "

And betrayed Sallaka.
>>
So, something that I've been wondering: How many inter-Officio wars were started because the respective Incubators disagreed with each other, and how many were started by their Warmasters?

Because this is the important part: the war between the 3rd and the 9th was started by Murderface and Kharn, not because of an argument between the Incubators. How many times has that happened, and is that the reason why Warmaster Murderface is generating so much interest?
Because a Warmaster that can initiate a war by going crazy during a joint op (since the details of why Murderface killed all those Magical Girls didn't really get out), without the prior authorization of her Incubator, is like a rabid dog, even moreso than even the other crazy Warmasters. As crazy as they were, they didn't initiate a war that resulted in an entire Officio being wiped out (regardless of the exact details).

In that context, believing that NECO got past our defenses while the other Officios haven't gotten their own Callidus agents in, is ludicrous.
>>
>>29148481
It must be someone else.

Midorin cannot possibly betray us without it being worth it.
>>
>>29148296
Contacting people is a personal no-no. It'd have to be someone in a pretty dire life or death situation, like Mami's, to think about contacting them.

We can't do a thing about Officio recruiting.

Besides, one of Necos best advantages is she's not tired to any Officio. Its good to know people without ties to the QBs.
>>

I made mention of this before.

The Cat gets into places she shouldn't with more alarming regularity than magical girls can. Despite the cat claiming that magical girls can do so better.
>>
>>29148569
Two explanations: maybe she just gets noticed much more often, and the magical girls don't, so you never know when you are bing watched.

And the second: maybe it's because meguca ping on the magic radar, while a normal person knowing how to work it can easily fly under that.
>>
>>29148536
Do you mean contracting?
>>
>>29148569
Just because she isn't a magical girl herself doesn't mean she isn't benefiting from magical assistance.

If for example Malal predicted the time and location of our date with Midori and told Izumi to be there, she wouldn't need to follow us there undetected.
>>
>>29148585
I'm not sure it matters HOW she does it.

>>
>>29148569
>The Cat gets into places she shouldn't with more alarming regularity than magical girls can
No, she gets CAUGHT getting into places she shouldn't, mostly because she Chirps about them.
We don't know if Magical Girls are getting through or not, because hey, their survival depends on not getting caught and they don't tell everyone that they got through.

That's like saying that some UFO enthusiast that gets within camera range of Groom Lake and tweets about it is some kind of superspy while completely ignoring the spies and informants embedded inside the FBI.

Nanoha is confirmed with the first and has wiped out about 50 meguca in one go on a defensive mission at one point, using one of her huge laser blasts. They didn't get a sngle shot in in return. It's in Rin's writefaggery about the 16th.
>>

"No, no tricks, Chiaki-nyan." NECO's grin goes wider. "Here's how it goes. I want to work with you, so if you grant me interviews from time to time, an'nya couple of favors here and theeere - I'll be a little more judicious with what goes out about the Ninth, nya."

You shake your head, here. Deal's off. Who the hell does she think she's dealing with? If you wanted news censorship about the Ninth, then you can do it right here, right now - either by leaving her to rot here or just shooting her, period. You're not about to become her fucking errand girl just for that--

"I know, I know! Jeez, let me finish, Chiaki-nyan!" The blonde young woman snaps. "AS I was saying, I'll be looking the other way, alright? But not all the time, I'm not gonna lie for you, so maybe don't start punching out babies, nya. But the thing is, I'll also tell you who's listening in, who's paying attention, and who's going around askin' questions." It's here that NECO leans back, arms crossed confidently underneath her chest.

"I may not be one of your sparklies, Chiaki-nyan, but I've got enough connections of my own that I may as well be, nya!"

Hnh. Well. You ignore the little boast. Supposing you say yes. What kind of favors is she talking about, here? Because if she wants someone killed, then she has to take it up with Kyuubey--

"No, no! Nothing like that!" Izumi shakes her head furiously. "Just...stuff! Favors! Information, I guess! Promise, it's not gonna be like, Kyuubey's credit card number or something. It's just stuff that you'd probably be offering already if I didn't ask them for you first. Nothing incriminating, just things and information that only Chiaki-nyan will only be able to get. That's all."

That's pretty vague, but...well, she is saying that it wouldn't be anything too out of the way, or too important to the Officio.

Maybe all that NECO is trying to do is to find the scoop of a lifetime, and is offering to insulate you and the Ninth from whatever it is you'll help her with. Maybe.

Still...you're not so sure. She's super invested in this whole Magical Girl journalism stuff for some reason, despite even you being able to tell that it's never going to pay off.

Add to that, you're not even sure she's telling the truth, here.

NECO holds out her hand to you, offering to shake it. The biggest cat-like expression on her face, now.

"Well? Do we have a deal, Chiaki-nyan?"

Accepting this deal is a bad idea. These are unspecified favors. We don't know who her contacts are or who she works for. She's sneaky enough to fool us and some of our rank leaders, she could be planning this just to get closer to us to get that scoop she's been looking for.

Before we take anything, we need to do a full background check, find out what she's into that she doesn't have on her chirpee. Also, we need to raid this filthy assistants computer and confiscate any...inappropriate material. Only then once we know what we're getting into should we agree. Besides, let NECO sweat down here a little before agreeing, it might make her change the terms.
>>
>>29148900

At this point, the weight of votes is too far in Accept's favor, we can only argue over how to make Accept the best option it can be.

Some of the crazier Warmasters have attempted to, and there has been squad-against-squad action from time to time (the Eighth is very guilty of this). But they've never escalated to the point that the 3rd and the 9th had gone into. What's more, the 3rd and the 9th had a generally good working relationship with each other, with two of the most business-minded of Incubators, so it came to a surprise, too. It's also when the rumors of Kyuubey being insane really started to circulate.

That's 'attempted', not 'succeeded'. So that's why the Officio's are focused on Chiaki; no one feels safe with the crazy Incubator now paired with the bat-shit insane Warmaster who could be your best friend one minute then suddenly turn and kill you and your entire Officio the next minute.

It's flattering that you would say, but my usual style is, well.. usual because it's familiar and easy... I like the way the neat lines and the way they tapper off, basically.

I mainly like the bolder lines, really. That and the eyes.

What are you going to do after MGNQ ends?
>>
>>29149832
The sharper look is great though, it gives it a new...perspective. When I look at your other stuff and compare it to this new thing, this looks more evolved, however I know that's in part because I've seen much of your art for this quest (which is all great btw) and have gotten used to that so something new of course looks like an improvement since it came out so well.

Regarding NECO, that's a very good assumption, but the thing is she's managed to get out and continue! Don't underestimate her.

Then again, she's just a normal human girl!

>>29149758

She would rip it out of your chest!

Ahh, I'll have to ask /a/nonymousmagica...

>>
>>29149883

I have no idea, really. Maybe start another quest that's lighter in nature? But that's probably after I take care of some projects of my own, hahaha!

But I'll finish MGNQ first, even if I only have one player left and if it takes 500 threads!

What would have happened if she decided to go for a private interview with Kharn? Would she have forsaken journalism?

True but Kharn ruins girls sexually, and that is in regards to magical girls

I know that I'm late and missed.
I don't know if it will have any impact or whatsoever but anyway:

>"No one wants another repeat of what happened to the Third, much less have it happen to THEM. You can bet they already know about Midori-nyan - I just showed them just how much you're gonna hurt them if they so much as look at her the wrong way."

".... Do you take me for a fucking IDIOT?! Do you think I do not know that? Do you think I do not realize that if some amateur journalist without MAGICAL POWERS can spy on, that TRAINED professionals with special POWERS can do the same and much better?!
That's why Kyoko and [whatshername] were there. NOT because I want them around during my PRIVATE DATE!

The thing I said to you earlier? It was simply to see if you realize that to."

Then we get our face closer to hers.

"What matter is that you RUINED. MY. FUCKING. DATE!
That was the one day. ONE FUCKING DAY. That I put aside for myself in MONTHS. no. AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER.
It was supposed to be one night when I felt like a normal fucking human being. No missions, no assassins, no crazy goddesses. Just me and my date.
Do you know that I put aside my dinner with Mami just to go on that date? Not sure if we actually should say this
Huh? DO YOU!? Do you realize how important that was for me?

And then you had to come butt in and ruin everything with your stupid shit!
Do you know that Midori passed out just after that due to stress that was in no small amount thanks to you!? Not entirely true but she doesn't have to know"

"THAT is why I'm pissed off!
THAT is why I'm holding back each and every muscle back from shooting you in the face!"

-----

Maybe not that long but you get the gist.
We could've saved our face from that retarded bit of dialogue. Tell her we know that others spy too (Didn't we make that observation already during Ruri's mission?)
>>
>>29150598
>AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER.
Doesn't hold much weight when everyone in the world knows that we have explosive and unpredictable amnesia. And if people have been watching the 9th know that we had another episode a month ago.
>>
>>29150598

Oh forgot about this.

We could also add the part about Siberia. That we didn't go to the fucking Siberia for vacation. That it was probably some of the worst time we ever had in life, even before amnesia.
Because NEKO seems to think we went there for pleasure and not business.

Of course we might not want to divulge that info.
>>
>>29150598
>Didn't we make that observation already during Ruri's mission?
Not that I can remember; that was more about the things we were worried about were publicly available on the Internet.

Most times that I can remember us letting our shadowruns concerning the secrecy of Magical Girls get the better of us (not shadowruns about prepping for missions), we've usually been humiliated by people telling us that what we've been worrying about is common knowledge.
>>
>>29150621

Yeah. The shorter the rant is the better.
I'm sure that if it came to this, it could've been more to the point.

It is just a draft. I'm not good at writing, someone could do this much better than me and with much bigger impact. In fact, I think Deculture should stop taking player's dialogue options as is and instead rephrase them to fit the narrative better.
I really don't like it when he simply links to the post and gives us the reaction. It really breaks the flow.

>>29150650
While maybe not in the actual Deculture's plot posts, I'm sure some anons made that observation.

It's not that far-fetched really. After all the defenses and screening we set up, some normie journalists gets through all that means that others can spy on us just the same. I mean, you'd have to be really dense to not understand that.
Even, lets say, if we have 100% full-proof scanner to detect magical girls that doesn't stop our enemies from hiring normal professionals.
>>
>>29150598
I think the problem is that these plans (even the hypothetical ones) keep relying on remorse or guilt for what is, in her mind, apparently a pretty minor infraction. All I can see is something like...

"...So...you're myad, then?"
>>
>>29150845
Nah, it wasn't to guilt her.
It was just to show her in how much deep shit she really is.

She thinks that we're mad because of the info leak. She has a very good counter to that, which we really cannot refute.

She has absolutely no counter, no argument or excuse for fucking up our date that would save her from us.

I mean. It is real possibility that we will never, ever have such time again with Midori. We could die. Midori could die.
Everybody in this business knows that are very unlikely to live past 20y. Everybody knows that they could die tomorrow.

It was really fucking important to us.
>>
>>29150911
"I still have to punish you for wrecking my date."
Simple and succinct.
>>
>>29150911
She didn't fuck up the date, though. Midori did.
>>
>>29150911
"So you're myad. Nya."

You severely overestimate the amount of fucks she gives.
>>
>>29150946

If not for Neco, then we wouldn't need to go to the cabin that early. We wouldn't have made accidental innuedos. We wouldn't put Midori in such stressful situation that she would pass out. Alcohol was just a part, not the whole reason, of her sudden black-out.

In an event that she would have passed out anyway. We wouldn't have been that pissed off. In fact, we might have thought it was endearing and cute. We wouldn't have gone to sleep thinking how mad we are at Neko.

The entire date got soured because of Neko's meddling. And this is how we are going to remember it. Our first date with Midori which got ruined by that fucking cat.
>>
>>29151005

.... point.

The entire rant hangs on the fact that the players stop being fucking doormats for one second.
If she still mocks us, then we can at very least bash her fucking face on the wall hard enough to break her nose and few teeth.

But we all know that wont really happen.
Sometimes, we should stop being so meta and detached from the character and act irrational and spontaneous. I know that we are trying to stop the Murderface experience but being extreme in any direction is bad. We cannot be nice ALL the time nor can we murderboner all the time.
Not saying to kill her or even handicap her for life but show her that we are willing to do that if she pushes us AND THEN ACTUALLY going through the threat.
Because we are threatening, not bluffing.

Why is it that a Yakuza, who compared to Neko was a damn gentleman and paragon of politeness, didn't get the time of the day but when a some DMNPC shows up who is also a hot girl we need to be so careful.
Okay, I know. Sayaka, etc, etc. But still, we shouldn't let Neko walk over us so easily.
>>
>>29151117
Honestly, I reckon that leaving her in there for a few days (which we use to work out how we're going to actually use her) while letting her think that she's actually going to be in there for a month or two as her assistant ruins everything will be much more effective than any sort of physical violence we can produce.
>>
...I'm still laughing at how pussywhipped you guys are when it came to totally handling NECO.

I mean NECO herself told you guys at the end of last thread that (s)he's fine with you guys going rough on her on that "interrogation".

But y'know what's even more hilarious?

That fact that a gag character got so under all of your skin that the mere mention of the character in-game sends all of you to a blood frenzy.
>>
>>29151149
Pretty much this.
>>
Shoot the bitch and be done with it. Also shoot Mami sometime too, cause fuck that manipulative bitch.
>>
>>29151209
>shoot Mami
But that's heresy onii-chan
>>
>>29151149

That's assuming that it actually bothers her. She did say that she has been imprisoned before.
How long has she had her assistant anyway? How do we know if this isn't some kind of a friendly thing they do from time to time?
How do we know that the assistant is not sending coded messages to parties we are not aware of?

Neko is a good actor and manipulator. She might act bothered but we never know if she actually is.
>>
>>29151149
Maybe pull her by the ears or something first. Not even Sallaka can hold that against us.
>>
>>29151209

Why, lets shoot Midori while we're at it.

Heck, why don't we shoot the entire world?
>>
>>29151149
Leaving her in a room for two days will not give the satisfaction bashing her face on the wall and then leaving her there will give.
>>
>>29151285
Sure, go for it. I am sure Pinky will help us with that if we ask.
>>
>>29151305
Can we just give her a black eye instead? It's a bit more satisfying.
>>
>>29151319

We'll need a really big gun to shoot the entire world though.
>>
>>29151404
That's why we plan to ask her help on constructing a super-mega-death-ray on moon.
>>
>>29151266

I feel Chiaki became too much of a goodie-two-shoes compared to the start of the story. She is all bark no bite lately. I know that is what we want, and i wanted it too, but not to this extend. Shooting kneecaps was literally her being merciful, and now look at where we are...
>>
>>29151433
I hope we build it in Deculture's backyard.

>>29151438
Let me elaborate.

She has been imprisoned before meaning that the same opportunity has arisen for the filthy assistant before (assuming she's didn't hire her recently). Which means that Neko already lived through the same shit before. And since the filthy assistant is still assistant and not dead in a ditch somewhere means that Neko wasn't bothered by this or it is in fact a contingency to notify her friends, allies and employers. Remember that she said that she has a lot of connections? How do you know she doesn't have somebody in our Officio which we don't know of?

Of course this is just a lot of speculation and assumptions. We might never know how bothered Neko actually. As I said, she can act very good.
>>
>>29151582
Has she? She might be bluffing. Just something to think about.
>>
>>29151616
if you are trying to refute that post you quoted, you should know you just supported it instead.
>>
>>29151568
>Shooting kneecaps was literally her being merciful

Oh God, this.
With all the NPC talk about our knee-capping tendencies I forgot that it is Chiaki just being nice. Normally she just kills you with no question. Remember how we almost shot Sayaka, how she almost pissed her pants because our intent on killing her at the moment was so pure that she knew it wouldn't take us much to pull the trigger.
And now some normie journalist is openly mocking us.

Something we could have done for good/bad cop routine:

After we sit down in front of her with our big gun in our lap. At some point we go like this:

"[...] You know, Neco, I promised Sayaka here that I will not blow your knees off.
But you know what? I'm feeling really generous right now and I will let you in on a small secret. Just between you and me."
Lean in and say loud enough for Sayaka to hear:
"I do not keep my promises."

Kinda cheesy and seems like from an action movie script. But it is absolutely true. We don't always keep promises. If Neko is as good at reading people as I think she is, she will sense the truth.
>>
>>29151720
Compromise : Kick her in the shins and punch her in the face.
>>
>>29151720
>"I do not keep my promises."
Thats retarted. She keeps her promises.
>>
>>29151765
fuck

>"I do not ALWAYS keep my promises"

Which is true. We broke a pretty big promise just recently. Chiaki may think it was or was not real but she DID remember the promise. We even got a suggestion prompt to avoid breaking it and we did it anyway.

I'm just saying that if we did this, it would be true and we wouldn't need to try to bluff or whatever.
>>
>>29151825
That is not needed. We just promised not to shoot her. We can just beat her to our heart's content during interrogation and Sayaka would have no right to give us any shit about that.
>>
>>29151720
>I forgot that it is Chiaki just being nice
It's actually Chiaki being Grizzled Professional.
Just like it's professional courtesy to not have prisoners that are fellow professionals raped, accept their surrenders, and not kill them out of hand if they are disarmed and unable and unwilling to fight back.
>>
>>29151863
We promised not to shoot her.

We did not promise to not beat the shit out of her with a golf club.

And we're pretty fucking handy with a golf club.
>>
>>29151978
I mean "Chiaki blowing knees out instead of straight up murdering" is her being nice. Compared to what we know about the pre-amnesia Chiaki at least.
Blowing out knees is no way being professional.
>>
>>29152038
>>29151978
it was not being nice, it was her being 'merciful'.
>>
>>29152064
>>29152038
It was returning the professional courtesy of not being raped.
>>
>>29151863
>But you reassure her that you won't do any murdering once she's left. Or any kneecapping. You just want need to ask NECO something that you need to hear first before anyone else.

So as long as we avoid the legs, we should be good. But we probably shouldn't hurt her while we're transformed or whatever. That might actually kill her.
>>
>>29152094
How about we break her elbows?
