You are Micheal Groves. And you're naked. In front of your girlfriend's house. And the whole block can see you. You're shivering, you're cold, and your hands can barely cover you.

"Ara~" murmurs Jean's voice. "You have a bad habit, Mike." she says, walking out of a shaft of light from the porch-light. "I can help you out, but I'll ask a favor later. Or you can get out of this yourself."

She's shining oddly, shimmering around the edge of her form. Her black robes flutter slightly in the air. "Well?"

>"Alright, Jean. Help me."

"So what's the favour?"

"Nothing huge." she said, "Just a hunt." she draws her blade, then slices open a hole in the light. Placing a boot on the small of your back, she pushes you through.

You pass an entity which is a suited man made of eyes, who waves at you, then pass out the other side into Jean's room.

Girly.

So immensely, massively girly. Lace, stuffed animals, and pink all over. The chairs have petticoats. You blink as Jean steps back through, dismissing her outfit and appearing in her usual somewhat tight jeans and ribbed sweater, sitting on the bed.

"You really need to be more careful."

"Look, Mike, according to the Magical Agreement of Wales, I could have killed you, wiped your memory so you thought you were always a girl, or the like." she says with a sigh. "This way you can earn your meatshaft back." she continues, looking through her things. "Here."

She hands you a bathrobe, which you put on. It's big, pink, and fluffy. "I also wanted to talk. Have you read all the documents? This is important."

"The one on emotions and magic and the one on Fonts I didn't get to."

She sighs.
"Well, then you'll probably need to. But in short, there's a sort of... bubble around newly formed magical girls."

"What?"

"The world sort of... fails to notice. It skids off their memory - the more egregious happenings are less noticed." she says. "But the longer you're a magical girl, the weaker it will get. If you have had that vent early, on your first day, people wouldn't care. But now they're looking. Tomorrow, they'll take pictures. Day after that, they'll call your father. Within a week after your transformation, they'd call the cops."

"uuuuhhuh."

"The gist of this is that your father found you out at an optimal time. But..." she frowns. "But right now is a /terrible/ time to get involved with other people. The relationship could fall apart at any time. Which would effect you. And since you're a support, it'd effect others around you, putting /them/ in danger."

My point still stands.

The streaking thing IS going to happen again, being the primary manifestation of our kink, ABC it is something we need to have a mature conversation about with Carrie, not cover up and hide.

It doesn't matter if it'll make things a bit awkward, she deserves better than having this brushed under the rug.

Thought you fucks were brave.

"No." she says softly. "No, I'm not. But you really need to talk to her before this happens again. Public nudity is one thing, but your Shadow will push harder and harder as things go on. Will you just trust her to go along with you jumping the bones of random people?" she asks. "How about putting on a striptease in downtown? What about taking her in a parking garage?" she continues. "She doesn't understand the lengths this will push you to. She deserves to know-"

"You just erased her memory!"

"And you need to be the one to tell her. She needs to decide if she's ready for this. And considering she was too scared to become one of us, can you really imagine she's ready to be one by proxy, through you, standing by you through all the nonsense?"

Jean meets your eyes.
"I look like I'm seventeen. The man downstairs pretends to be my father for pay. But I'm thirty years old, Mike, and I've seen a hundred and one magical girls become Umbral Rebels so they could keep relationships that had been sundered by Vents and Changes. A thousand people killed so that they could continue their romance."

"And if she doesn't understand?" she asks, letting the situation hang.

You sigh.
"I'll talk to her. I can't put this off."

"Good!" she says with a smile, a genuine one. "I knew I had you pegged properly as a proper man." she says with a nod.

"...So... So you... but...Thirty?!"

"Thirty five. Technically old enough to be your mother."

"...We don't age?"

"It's one permanent change. Eternal youth. Not immortality, though. The oldest Girl is about a hundred and twelve, and can only fight because she has a great deal of magical power. Otherwise, she's very weak..."

You frown.

"Anyway, if it helps you explain..." she wipes some light from her blade into a bottle, which shines. "Have her drink this, it will show her what happened."

You take the bottle.
"And the hunt?"

"I'll call you and Thomas. We make a decent team, and we can hunt multicores by now."

You run upstairs, setting aside the bottle to get dressed in a long skirt and sweater. Then you put on panties, wondering why you didn't in the first place. That done, you head into his study.

"Hey dad."

He looks up from the fireplace, at you, then motions to the large chair beside him. You sit down. "We didn't talk much since you got home."

He nods. "Are you doing alright?"

He sighs.
"I'll be honest, Mikey." he says. "I'd be doing a hell of a lot better if your mother got home." He eyes the bottle, but instead opts for some water. "It's a lot to deal with alone."

"Well..."

He sighs.
"Well, okay, yeah, you probably... No, you /do/ have it worse than me." he admits. "And while I'm not gonna push you out my door for this..." he groans. "I sired a son, Mike."

"I'm still a son."

He looks at you, a long look.
"I suppose y'are." he says with a chuckle. "Your mother wouldn't be caught dead with colors like that."

"What's wrong with a green top and an orange shirt?"

"Nothing, nothing." he smiles as he sips his water. "Still. This is a lot for someone your age to deal with." he says. "I don't understand half that shit in the living room. But... It sounds bad."

"I'm being careful."

He grunts positively. "Look. I want to help. Do those things get hurt by guns?"

Technically aren't we a support mage?

Like could our buffs work on non-magical-girls?

I'd say the question of who can open the door to the demon's magical realm is a more potent factor and the best bet on getting this line of thinking out of dad's head.

That way it's not a matter of him not being strongwilled or tough enough, it's just that there's an arbitrary restriction that isn't a failing on his part at all.

"Let me ask my familiar. Mephy!"

He appears, making your father jump a little.

"Mephy, how well do guns work on Demons?"

"Mmmmn..." he thinks. "Well, they work normally." he says. "On smaller Demons, like Minions, they are in fact an excellent strategem to avoid gathering darkness. On larger ones, well, they'll work depending on the hides and the protections that they have. However, if you were to turn one into a magical weapon..."

"How do I go about that?"

"You pay for a Weapon Addition with three cores." he says. "You can wield both, or one at a time." he explains.

"So?" Dad asks.

"I wouldn't suggest you doing it."

"I expected. 's why I wanna teach you."

"Sure, why not? Sounds fun."

The grin on your father reminds you of when he and his brother in law start a bet. Dad doesn't bet on things he has even the most remote chance of losing. "Come with me, son." he says, "Thank god I wasn't drinking." he hums to himself as he heads into the basement, opening a few cases. A long rifle, a pistol, and a shotgun.

The pistol is slightly ornate.
"Gift from Shaun." he says. You know it's from a lost bet. It has some engraving along the grip, and it's nice. "Pretty accurate, all the parts are custom." he says. "It's a Colt 1911. Handy for midrange."

He moves on to the next one. "This is a hunting rifle." he says, "But it'll do fine for, heh, your own hunting. Accurate, simple, and effective at long to mid range. Goes to shit up close, though."

The last one is familiar even to me.
"It's a shotgun."

He nods.
"Yep. Remington. Simple to use, simple to fire, simple to reload, packs a hell of a punch out to mid range."

"But it's a shotgun. Wouldn't it be useless-"

"This ain't a vidyergame, son. Shotguns are nasty at all but long ranges. Hell, even at far out, they're still somewhat accurate, just not as reliable as a rifle. So..."

>"Which one do you want to practice with first, son?"

I though the gun was mostly useless outside of fighting minions unless we wanted to spend 3 cores on it and the main reason we were doing this is because it's still good to have a mundane option when that's all you need to get the job done and letting Dad help will help him feel better?

"Can we start from the top?"

You and him work over the mess of pre-fire safety before you head out. It's like a checklist, mostly, and a series of values to always remember. Once done, you head out to the range, where your father shows you the proper stance for a shotgun.

"Alright. Put these on." he says, "Noise cancelling headphones."

You slide them on, carefully taking aim. "Good," he says, muffled. "Now, remember - squeeze the trigger, don't pull. Breathe out..."

You've forgotten how much recoil a shotgun has, as well as the sound. It's almost primal. You grunt as you feel the push on your shoulder.
"Good." he says, "Again."

The weapon goes off, and he watches you. "Good. Now reload..."

"Alright. Now I'm gonna take a few shots." he says, sliding on the headphones. His grouping is better than yours.

"Let's have a shootout. If you win... Hm. I don't know, what do you want?"

"Alright. First, I should explain what I meant the other day." you say. "I told you I'd be listening to my uninhibited side more often. That wasn't just a change with this form. It has to do with magic. Look at these documents."

She reads quietly. "They explain in depth what I have to deal with. Do you understand?"

It takes time - but less, you note, than you took.
"Yeah." she says. "You fight, you take in darkness, and this affects you when you stop fighting." she says softly. "And if enough time passes, and enough changes, you'll be like Adri."

She frowns.
"Drink this." you say, handing her the bottle of light. She does, then blinks.

"That..." she manages. "What..."

"I was foolish. I used a spell I didn't fully understand, and it caught me off guard. Shadow wasn't even fast enough to help. It was either that or kiss Jean."

She frowns.
"There's a problem with your choice." she says.

"Hm?"

"The problem is that no one was looking at Jean's back yard. It's fenced. No one would have seen you, and you could have just explained things like you did now."

"And?"

>DC: 25
>Roll: 14

You open up the bat, aim, and fire, but the recoil knocks it off course. The beast turns...

It's like a floating ball, covered in eyes. They all turn towards you, eyes glinting, and they fire in unison.

"MIKE!" Jean screams, slamming into you from one side. Her sleeve, shoulderpad, and half her top disintegrate, and the ground below and behind her has a deep trough.
"We're staying here." she says, raising her shield.

You rise, groaning. And that's when you see Thomas attack it head on, leaping from a tree, only to get swatted down by more lasers, his bottoms disintegrating.

It roars, a warbling, keening cry, eyes scanning the area like mad.

You hold up your bat, and light shines brightly.

You stare down the beast as you lower it, eyes shining. The lasers are still fast, but you realize something as they launch at you - They aren't lasers. They're lances of... Some sort of fluid? Nonetheless, you slip away, pulling Jean with you as you approach Thomas and catch him from the air.

You have five actions left.

I don't like side effects, once they set us on fire.

Protect Ball says it can redirect Kinetic Force backwards, so set us some of those, with FatF in front of the fluid lances and reflect them right back at the fucking beastie, hopefully on fire because of FatF.

FatF doesn't work on Heart Spells. Also the only reason Protet Ball redirects kinetic force is because it's a SPEED spell.

You slam your bat in to the ground, and circles appear around your slow-as-molasses allies. Everything seems so slow right now, as spheres appear around each of you. You can feel it, deep in your heart.

Thrumming.

Fire, yearning to be free, as you raise your bat. It opens.

"Time to burn!" you roar, as you let it out. A shining thing slides from the open barrel of the bat, and launches.

What.

Two literal rockets launch from your bat then TWO MORE, four in total! You stare, mouth agape, as time catches up, and the the rockets speed off. Then the beast fires at you, and you hunker down.

One after another, the rockets slam into the eyes of the beast, four eyes ruptured gravely, ruined, fluids spilling out... a haze of heat rising from it. The trees it touch catch ablaze, and it roars again, in pain, as the lances it fires were reflected, one searing open another eye, breaking 5 in total. Thomas stares, blinking - and it starts to rush you down, lava-hot fluids pouring from its base!

"Thomas, when I tell you, JUMP."

He leans low, and your spell-ball slams into him.
"NOW!"

And he jumps. His body is wreathed in lightning, and he rockets up, into and through the eyeball.

Jean and you run, as you look over your shoulder. Where's Thomas?

Jean whimpers.
"That's not good. That's not good at all." she says, sliding her shield onto her back. "Support me. I'm going to attempt to end this!" she calls, light shining around her. The eyes turn to her. "HURRY!"

You raise your bat, as wings unfold from her back, under the shield, and her weapon grows. She closes her eyes. Armor appears upon her, shining and translucent, as her own clothing evaporates. Darkness rises, and turns to light...

Her Barrier Jacket... Turning it into a weapon. How insane!

But your spell sheathes her in nigh-invisible armor as wings of light emerge.

FINISHING BLOW - SERAPHIC SABER

She launches at the beast. One lance of energy.

Two lances. Three, four, five. All but one are repelled, but the last sears through her leg, having shattered the armor there. Nonetheless, she raises her weapon, screaming as she slices open the beast. Four more eyes spurt open, as more lasers lance out, shattering her armor further.

You can feel it, the beast is on its last legs.

But another laser slices through the wings of light.

"JEAAAAAN!" you scream. One, two, three steps, and then you begin to fly. Slamming your bat into the ground, you launch forth, over the pools of superheated fluid.

Isn't it odd?

That first time we met as magical girls, you used this spell to save her.

And now, you're doing it again. Faster, you need to be faster! Even using a gift from Shadow. You have to make it! YOU HAVE TO!

Inches from the fluids, and you're still feet away. You're not fast enough.

"AAAAAAUGH"

You grasp her, pulling away, tearing off from the beast, lasers dancing in the air.

"Go kill it." Jean whimpers. "You have to kill it."

"But Jean..." you barely manage. "Y-your legs..."

One, a mess, cooked from the knee down. The other, entirely severed just below the thigh. No blood. Just the smell of cooked flesh.

She slaps your face.
"You idiot! If it gets away, if Thomas dies in there, then what's the fucking point? Put me down and go after him!"

You gently set her down on a grassy hill and take off again.

You raise a ball, and slam it into place.

At first, the field is only as big as he is, like a film around him. But it rises, and rises, turning into a sphere, steadily.

And Thomas moves, standing, naked but for the gauntlets, eyes and face a picture of fury.

Hold on a second.

He's moving.

You're hasted.

He raises one fist, slamming it into one side of the expanded area. Then he kicks high. Each plow sends deep ripples through the flesh he pounds, and again and again. You count, blinking, as you approach.

Thirty blows. Thirty blows in less than six seconds as you reach him, and he slows enough for your to grab him and pull him out.

Time resumes, and the monster explodes. You land next to Jean as the bits rain from the sky and the fluid cools. Thomas raises a hand, catching four cores from the sky between his fingers.

"Lucky~." he manages, panting.

All three of you lay on the hillside, and you're the only one dressed.

"So." Thomas says, "We should change back at home, apart from each other. Right? Together might not be a great idea."

"Well." she says softly. "At this point... Your father went to bed, and he's at the opposite end of the house. Thomas is next door, but he likes to sleep in our parent's bed when they're away because it's bigger."

You swallow nervously.

>Let's uh, wait until morning.

Last update unless you guys want a marathon.

>Transform back.

I wouldn't mind a marathon if you are up for it.
>>
>>29166853
>5 tokens, 7 Darkness.
>>
>>29166855
>Transform back.

>marathon
Hell yeah.
>>
>>29166855
Kiss her once gently, then transform back.
>>
>>29166855
Transform back
>>
Oh, burn all our tokens \ darkness that we can. MIght as well do this safely.
>>
>>29166855
I like marathons.

>Transform back now
>>
>>29166855
>Transform back.

(I need to sleep, so I won't be continuing on... but don't let that stop you if you still want to keep going.)
>>
>>29166855
>Transform back.
I could go one way or the other in regards to marathoning.
>>
>>29166885
We'll still have a Flare. It's a waste of Tokens.
>>
Actually whats our taint at? If we can keep the tokens for the next battle Id rather do it that way.
>>
>>29166855
>Transform back.

Don't put it off, this is as good a time as any.

I'm up for a marathon.

>>29166885
We only have to deal with 7 Darkness, which I think is a Flare. Downgrading it is silly.
>>
>>29166908
Particularly since we can't actually downgrade it. The Flare is going to happen even if we spend all of our tokens.
>>
>>29166855
>>Transform back.
>>
>>29166894
Won't it help minimize the transformation/flare?
>>
>>29166855
>Transform back

My sleep schedule is already shot so I'd be down for a marathon.
>>
>>29166871
We had 10 tokens at the start, right?

We spent 6 tokens in that fight. 1 for haste, 2 for double BB, 1 for saving Jean, 1 for another haste, and another for saving Tom.
>>
>>29166922
We streaked on a 1 point Flare. I don't think it matters. A Flare is a Flare.
>>
>>29166928
We didn't use tokens on the second hate, we just got 3 6's
>>
>>29166922
Who cares? It's a flare, and we're with our girlfriend, alone and in private. It's about the safest situation possible to do some random lewd thing.

Downgrading it is a waste of Shadow Tokens even if it does do that.
>>
>>29166925
Unfortunately, mine isn't. This thread's about to die, we will pick up soon after I wake up tomorrow.

Looks like we're using foolz from now on, because some people are shits.
>>
>>29166945
We also used a token. 10+ on the roll, plus 3 bursts, plus 1 ST = 7 actions.
>>
either everyone else is confused about how this magic system works or I am... but am pretty sure there is nothing we can do to reduce what we have coming and using more tokens will just make it worse in the long run
>>
>>29166948
awww. thats dispointing. I was looking forward to shenannigans.

Oh well, see you tomorrow!
>>
>>29166948
You can just add a link to the misarchived post to the OP until it gets fixed and start archiving right after you get the thread up to prevent more misarchival.

If you message/PM Lord Licorice with the misarchived thread and the proper tags and descriptions he should change it.
>>
>>29166948
Thanks for running tonight, it was fun.
>>
>>29166948
So we got like 2-4 Umbral Taint from that fight right?

What's our total?
>>
>>29166948
>>29166995
This. Some people being incredible dicks should not ruin things for everyone.

Also, thanks again for the thread!
>>
>>29166948
just add the link to the OP and say it was misarchived, also, to avoid retards like that, you can archive a thread as soon as you make it on sup/tg/ and it auto updates every 2 hours/can also manually force update
>>
What's wrong with the archive?
>>
>>29167168

Some bright individual decided to call the thread 'Genderbent Everloli Magical Monstergirl Exhibitionist Ques' Didn't even tag it with the collective game tag
