>People wanted a pastebin charsheet, so I cooked this up: http://pastebin.com/VTN4bR9s

You are Bianca Machiti, and your day is going pretty good. After being sick and suffering your first ascent yesterday, the win after win today is really helping. Beating down the Mythic Nemean Lion, meeting your sister and her sugar momma- you can practically feel her punching you for just thinking that, getting a new job, kicking your sister's as in a spar, and now getting new artifacts to play with.

"First, the pistol." She flicks her wrist while holding the bullet charm, and a massive silver revolver forms in her hand. It reminds you of a show you saw an episode of on TV. Threegun? No, no, Trigun. Yeah. It's silver, with a black grip. The grip has bands of gold rubs wrapping around it. "When summoned, it's fully loaded with mildly enchanted shots. Enhanced penetration and damage, basically. Punches through steel like cardboard. But they take about an hour to refill automatically, so we have some speedloaders of .50 Action Express that fit it."

"Next, the sword-" "Knife." Nike interrupts. "Sword, which is technically a knife but daemons are huge, it's harder than any mortal metal, and razor sharp." She flicksthe wrist, and a sword, the length of your arm, forms. It's thick and somewhat crude, looking like an up-scaled combat knife with a dark red blade and a black handle. "It's basically the same as your staff there." She points at the charm on your wrist. "The shield Nike gave you is simple, harder than any mortal material, nothing special, but still nice to have."

"Now, as for work... you can wear whatever you want, just... some better fashion would be nice. You can borrow Nike to go shopping, have her pay... you don't really have hours, just make sure and answer the phone. You're encouraged to stick around... Oh, take-home is five grand a month, after taxes."

>Cont.
>>
>>29213651
She passes you the charm and pin after dismissing them. The bullet charm fits on your bracelet perfectly, and the knife pin can go wherever you like. "All I can think of off the top of my head. Questions?"

>Questions and actions? OP is sorry this took so long, 4chan ate my first go at it.
>>
>>29213685
"Naaah, with those perks I'll do whatever you tell me to really. I figure I should at least come by every day, practice and stuff, even if I don't have proper hours."

What happened to your first attempt?
>>
>>29213685
Ask what duties we would be expected to do, maybe some of the major projects that they have been working on.

Also, some teasing about the clothing is in order. Maybe joke about her only wanting sharp dressed women around for her harem or something. Some nice duds would be nice though, especially since we were poor as hell.

"What sort of duties should I expect? Any major projects?" You ask, pinning the pin on the lapel of your jacket. You're pleased with everything, but would like to see what you're getting into.

"Well, you won't be doing much of the normal company work. I doubt you want to be halfway across the world, training some military group or protecting the president of a tiny country." She explains, putting the briefcase in the redundant safes and locking them. "You're technically on bodyguard duty, and if a big contract comes in, I might send you on it."

"I got to protect the Prime Minister of the UK for a while. It was pretty awesome." Nike notes.

"Yeah, stuff like that." She explains.

"Ok. So can I use the facilities for training? Just... regular training? Is there a firing range I can go to to get better with this?" You ask, jingling your bracelet.

"Yeah, Nike'll show you the way." Your sister nods at Pallas' order.

"Ok. I figure I should come by every day, practice and stuff, even if I don't have proper hours." You decide, and she nods. "So, I guess I should go shopping, since my boss has a thing for well-dressed women." You grin as Athena and Donna sighs.

"She likes for people to know she has nice things." Nike teases. The two of you head out, snickering. "So, what sorta duds are we hunting for?" She asks you.

All the more time to figure out fashion, OP. We'll be waiting.

I'm thinking we should also have a good evening dress or two to wear to high class events. If Athena is a high roller, we might have to start rubbing elbows with some rich folks at dinners or meetings.
>>
>>29214348
Yeah, I'm mostly just scared of spending oodles of cash. We're already getting a suit or two for on-the-job professionalism, and they're quite expensive, as are dresses. Add to that a huge bundle of normal but still potentially pricey stuff...
Assuming we get carte blanche for shopping though, definitely. Kinda want to pick out some lingerie too, especially as a way to tease Niko about stuff.

"Alright, we'll hit a couple of places. Suits, slacks, vests, we'll get those first." She decides, leading you on towards the garage. She climbs into a small black car, and you go after her. The radio blasts death metal when she turns the engine over, and she winces and shuts it off. "So, how are you handling all this?" She asks. It's a bit warm, until she turns on the air conditioner. "Do you want to talk about anything?"

"The past helps. We were... together, back in the day." She explains, shrugging. "The Fates made that matter. They do that sort of shit a lot." She explains.

You snicker. "Alright. So... honestly, I'm handling thing well so far... But that's mostly because the shock hasn't worn off yet, and people I care about haven't been endangered at all." You admit. "How do you handle the constant threat of shit going down, every day?" You ask, leaning back in your seat and looking out the window. You roll it down a bit, to try and help the air circulate, let it cool down in here.

"I've always been a fighter. It's what I'm good at. I don't have others to worry about, besides Athena, and she can handle herself." She explains. You nod, understanding how it probably helps.

"So, you a fan of death metal?" You ask, and she frowns. "Not really. I like... like, pop and stuff." She says. "Huh. I didn't picture Atla as the heavy metal sort." You note, frowning.

"...she's not." She says, turning on the radio. It's blaring death metal still. Neither one of you is grinning, and Nike is pulling the car over.

You climb out, summoning your sword and shield. "Daemon fighting in ten words of less, go." You ay, not looking at her, but looking up and down the street, and up. Never forget to look up.

"Avoid the blood, it's toxic." She counts by raising armored fingers. "Only head shots kill. Hah, nine words, I win. Seriously, go for the head, decapitations are best, but cleaving it in half will work too. Or putting a shot in the forehead. They're better up close, as a rule." She notes. You can hear... dripping. Water dripping. Or some liquid, at least.

It's getting closer. It's... coming from down the street. Around one of the corners, blocked from sight by a tall building.

"...age before beauty?" Nike asks, watching the corner.

"I'm only twenty five." You hiss back.

"...Lesser beauty before beauty?" She tries. You huff.

"Hey, I am plenty beautiful. Just because you landed your sugar momma- don't swing at me with those!" You dodge the reflexive swing and huff.

"...shoot for it?" She asks, and you shrug, raising a fist.

Aw yeah, give our sister some shit for losing to us twice today.

>>
>>29216087
"Thank you, most wonderful of all wood based products." You say, kissing your flat hand as she drags her feet, mumbling obscenities as she leads the way. You stack up together at the corner, and she leads the charge, rushing in. You follow close behind, and run straight into her back.

She's looking up, following the stream of slowly pouring and dripping red fluids. It's... It makes you sick to look at. Suspended in the air is a massive steel egg. It's twenty feet in length, hanging upside down, chains connected to the top and attached to the surrounding buildings, covered in hooks and split, vertically, into four quarters. From the lines running down it's length seeps a hissing, boiling red liquid. Then, you see it. At the very top, where the chains connect, is the a human torso from the hips up. Female, and... skinned. Raw red flesh glistens in the sunlight, growing dimmer as the sky grows cloudy. Lidless eyes watch you, and it raises on arm, pointing at you both.

"..I hate daemons so much." Nike mutters, taking a stance as the egg cracks open, a flood of boiling blood pouring out and splashing against the ground, spreading across the ground as the egg empties. You float in the air slightly, flapping your wings, as it passes under your feet. Nike lets it splash against her armored boots. It reeks, boiling blood. You look back up, and see, the egg has hatched.

Dozens of skinned bodies are dropping from the walls of the egg, hitting the ground hard and struggling to stand. They crawl towards you, and as they stand, they start to stumble, walk, and then run.

"You want the momma or the babies?" Nike asks, spreading her wings.

"You got the mooks. I'm going to try and bring it down to our level. I've played enough video games to know what to do here!" You say, spreading your wings. You tear through the air, heading for one of the half-dozen chains a the egg closes. You can hear it creaking and popping slightly, then the hooks disconnect. They're attached by long black wires, which snap and writhe, then go after you. You dodge, twisting in turning in the air, sweeping your legs forward to rocket back.

"I get the easy job for once!" You hear Nike cheer, each swing shredding a flayed man, sending flesh and blood splattering into the boiled blood. You, meanwhile, swing your blade, snapping the cables holding several hooks and letting them fall t the floor. You swing again and again, cutting through wires and trying to maneuver toward the chains. You reach on, swinging and shattering a link with ease. The whole thing rattles, but keeps holding on.

You keep it up, dodging the swarms of hooks, spinning like a top and ducking under them, then swinging to tear the wires. There's three on each side- two and three, now. You focus on the two on your side, keeping after them with your blade. You use your shield to deflect a number of hooks, then swing to knock them away. You shatter another link, and the whole thing grows unstable.

It's really after you now, the hooks swarming like a great horde of mosquitos, snapping and lashing out at you, quick flaps of your wings and letting yourself drop down keep them from slicing into your flesh. The egg is cracking open again, the fluids of the Phlegethon pouring out.

You keep going, beating your wings to keep ahead of the wires behind you, and raising your shield to deflect and disperse a swarm coming from ahead, swinging hard to sever most of the wires. Several scratch at your legs, but are preoccupied when a flayed man is thrown into them. You keep going, and shatter the last chain. The whole thing drops, hitting the ground as it cracks open. It hits hard, the chains snapping and tearing out of the far building. It hits, the shell segmenting into single jointed, spider like legs, four of them. The chains dissolve into steel dust, hitting the ground. A humanoid shape falls from within, hitting the ground.

"Looks like it's time for the real fight." Nike says, crushing the last flayed man in her armored hand. You land next to her. The dropped shape rises, a slim, genderless form rises, covered in black leather slick with blood. Its arms and legs from the elbows and knees down are armored in shiny black metal, and it wears a featureless black metal mask. Above it looms the twenty foot tall, now spider legged egg creature. Blood and gore drips from the undersides of the four huge legs, lidless eyes flick between you and Nike, steel sand drawing up into a single hooked chain that weighs heavily in her hand.

"Well. This is great. Which one you want?" Your sister asks, rolling her shoulders and neck.

"Only fair to let you dance with the lady, right?" You say, with a lopsided grin. She sighs tiredly, rolling her arms and kicking her feet. She spreads her wings and takes to the air as the skinny one walks towards you. You recognize the movements as it twists, and block its kick with your shield. Muay Thai. Really? The daemon uses Muay Thai. Ok. Whatever.

You anticipate its swift kicks and punches, blocking and dodging, swiping at it with your blade and forcing it back. You manage to force it back, but it's fast, and even with supernatural skill, you're not good enough with your sword to keep this up. You look up in time to catch Nike and fly backwards, helping her land on her feet.

"It's strong. Really strong. I'll need my heavy armaments." She flicks her wrists and kicks her feet, dismissing her gauntlets and boots, then holds up a pair of bracelets. "Hold these." You take them and she draws a marker, turning it into a large mace.

"Bring it!" She takes to the air. You note the daemon stalking towards you.

You flick the bracelets and let them slide onto your wrists, then swing up your shield. It darts at you, and you block several quick punches, then duck under a high kick to the head. You swing hard with your sword, but it leans back and dodges with ease. You take a punch to the gut as you rise, then a kick to the side that forces you away, making you roll. You dash back in, meeting it halfway, and it ducks a slash, catching you in the side with a knee strike.

It snaps off a pair of kicks, which you block, then a jab to the nose. You flap your wings and dart backwards, getting some room between the two of you. It stalks purposefully after you.

You dismiss your sword and shield, the ring and pin appearing in place, then swing your arm in a wide arc. He's forced back as you swing your staff, barely missing his head. You spin it in one hand, then back over your shoulders, making it -dance- for you before you take a low stance, feet shoulder length apart, crouching, staff in both hands.

You can feel the game has changed.

So can it.

It gets more aggressive, trying to go after you, but you keep it at bay with the range your staff gives you. The blade bites into the flesh of its shoulders and arms as it desperately blocks, and you force it back, jabbing, then flicking it back and dancing it across your shoulders. It takes its opening, but you only gave it to draw it in.

The staff ends it's dance, swinging around into your hands and through- a satisfying resistance, then freedom as you slice its head from its shoulders. You look up, not giving it any note as your foe falls dead, exploding into dust as it hits the ground. It leaves behind its boots, gauntlets, and mask.

Nike is still struggling, but has the upper hand, forcing the massive daemon back with her spiked mace.

You spread your wings and tear around to the back. It's well and distracted, swinging that chain in wide arcs and letting it's many hooks play point-defense. It's a simple matter to take its head with a quick swing. Less simple to barely dodge and over-committed Nike's powerful swing. You descend as she crashes into the ground, head whipping around wildly.

"You kill stealing asshole!" She barks, glaring at you.

"Too slow, little sister!" You cheer, skipping through the air and tossing her her bracelets. She sticks her tongue out at you, blowing a raspberry as she hefts the chain left behind from the dissolving flayed demon.

"So what the hell was that thing?" You ask, looking at the evaporating blood and corpses, landing next to the empty armor of your foe.

"Flayed Mother. Tier seven daemon, it serves as a living portal between our world and the Hell of Abraham." Nike explains, taking an authoritative pose. The chain turns into a bracelet on her wrist. Your loot turns into a charm- a tiny black suit of armor.

>What do now? Back to shopping? Take a break?
>>
>>29218782
What, we don't get any loot?!
Let's get to shopping. We still haven't ribbed Nike NEARLY enough.
>>
>>29218782
Shopping, we need some good clean capatilism after dealing with all of that magic mumbo jumbo.

Well that, and now Nike totally owes us for whooping those demons so bad, so we can get some nice clothes.
>>
>>29218782
>And OP actually needs to do errands now. I may or may not return with some decent speed, but don't count on it. If the time is reasonable when I get back, I'll continue. If not, tomorrow at the same time.
>>
>>29218782
i'll second the shopping, we also need to endlessly grill Nike about her relationship with Athena, because seriously, how do we get an awesome sugar mommy
>>
>>29218830
We got a suit of armor out of it, which is pretty awesome, especially since Nike stole the Naemon lion's skin
>>
>>29218873
I'll probably be gone before you get back either way, so thanks a lot for running!

In other news, I had a quest-related dream last night. Or at least I think it was quest related.
>>
>>29252904
But was it related to this quest?
>>
>>29252942
Yes.
>>
>>29253074
What was it about?
>>
>>29253102
Don't quite remember.
I do know that I helped Thor wreck someone's shit.
>>
>>29253140
Not us I hope. Maybe it was Ares or some Egyptian fucker.

I think it would be easier to just have the QM create a new thread for the next session...

Unless time-travel is involved, the promise is broken. No waiting will change this.

>Ladies and gentlemen, I'm incredibly flattered that you guys actually kept this thread alive for so long. It is to my shame that I must inform you that I had a very, very, very bad reaction to my new medication yesterday, and have been in bad shape yesterday and today both. Everything should, by Monday, be cleared up, and I will be able to run.

>Again, thank you very much for keeping the thread alive, and I'm very sorry for not running when I said I would.
>>
>>29268136
Looking forward to monday.

YES! I CAN FINALLY SLEEP! IT IS 05:40 OVER HERE! I am mostly still awake because i have been watching White Collar.
>>
>>29268136
