You are Gertrude Pool, Sophomore Class President and new commander of Lafayette Girls Academy’s revived Tankery Team.

Oh goddamn last night killed you.

You yawn heavily as you rise out of your bed. You check the time, 5:00 AM. Huh, turns out staying up later makes you get up earlier. Who would’ve thought that. You look around to see your dorm in partial shambles. Pillow feathers here and there, a staff member lying on the floor asleep, all that good stuff.

You look down to see Kitten curled up next to you in bed, sleeping like a baby. Too cute.

Your phone vibrates on you, and check the caller.

“Fredendall”

“Allo, allo?” you say mockingly.

“Well, if it isn’t Lafayette Girls Academy’s own little white knight back from her field trip. You have fun?”

“Well, more fun than talking to you, Fredendall.”

“I’m offended! Shucks, I have to tell you though, I’m not calling you just to put you down. This is purely business. Today’s the day we gotta choose the ship’s next destination. I’d prefer some place close so we get Shore Leave earlier, you know?”

“Yeah, I figured.”

“Anyway, since I’m still suspended until the first of October, my VP little miss Fairless is in charge of the decision. All the councils are gonna meet up in the Senior Offices in the Command tower after school. I’d advise you be there. Not like your word has any meaning, just saying, you might as well.”

“Yeah, whatever, Fredendall. Is there anything else?”

“Nah, nah. I will admit though, she probably won’t be happy to know what you’ve been doing with the Sophomore Budget. Anyway, that’s all for now. Lates.”

You sigh, hanging up. Well, at least that was amicable enough.

What shall you do now?

From: Ashley Ursula Lutz – ITL Provost Official
To: Gertrude Pool

Good morning, Gertrude! After a very late night settling on locations, brackets, and all other nonsense regarding the World Tournament, we have finally found a location for the Lafayette Girls Academy – William Adams Naval Academy Match. It will be set in France! In land France to be exact. The exact location will be determined later, and it will be sent to 72 hours ahead of the match, along with the chosen flag tank, maps, etc.

The Date of the match will be October 12th! So I would advise you to get some practice in before the match starts, heck, maybe even get to know your opponents! Regardless, as your ITL liaison, I cannot wait until your match! I’m sure you’ll beat the snot of William Adams!

And if you don’t, well bad luck, but have fun anyway!

Sincerely yours, Ashley Ursula Lutz

You nod as you brush your teeth. That’s cool. You’re about to put the phone away when your phone pings again with a new email.

From: NOVA Tank Museum Official
To: Gertrude Pool

Gertrude! Although you only mentioned NOVA Tank Museum a total of once to the reporters, we’ve seen a marked increase in visitors along with a proportional increase in profits. Thusly, we are proud to sponsor Lafayette Girls Academy with a regular donation of 5,000 Dollars every Monday.

Happy tanking!

You nod again, a little happier. You also remember Casablanca’s money supposed to come today as well.

> SPONSORSHIP MONEY
> + 10,000 DOLLARS

With that, you hurridly get the shower out of the way, and finally step out, dressed. Nancy has already woken up and gotten to work on breakfast. “Morning, President. You sleep well?” She looks at you closer. “Something happening today?”

You nod, grinning. “We got our sponsorship money and the location and date of our first match! It’ll be on the 12th in France!” You walk up next to her and take in the smell of FRESHLY COOKED BUTTERMILK PANCAKES. Aaaahhhh…

Nancy smiles. “Oh! Excellent, I just adore France! It’ll be a real blast!”

You lean in closer to the cooking pancakes. “Yeeeaaahh… Also we have to meet up with the Councils after school. Gotta decide where we’re going to head to. Of course we gotta make it France.”

Nancy nods. “Righto, President!” She finishes off the pancakes then starts settling them onto five plates. “Pancakes?”

You pout. “As if that’s a question.” You quickly took up a plate of pancakes and a fork, along with a healthy dealthy dash of syrup.

You sit down on your bed and switch on the TV, deciding to eat and watch the news idly. Your staff meanwhile have begun waking themselves up, and as they do you fill them in on the situation.

Lisa rubs her head, groaning. “Oh god… a meeting? With Fredendall?”

You shake your head. “Nah, it’ll be with Bernadette Fairless and the rest of the Senior Council along with Betty and the Juniors. Won’t need to even talk about Fredendall the entire day!”

Lisa stretches her arms out, yawning in a surprisingly high pitched way. “Alright… As long as we don’t have to deal with her.”

So getting Fairless to point us at France will be our next hurdle, eh? Seems like she'll push for somewhere else just to spite us.

I suggest we contact the junior council to propose shore leave in France before the meeting, and maybe finally get them to spill why they act like the senior council has their balls in a vice. Getting them on board might be useful beyond just as a crew.

I don't think we agreed on everything there.

Comp speccing the TYPE 97 was agreed on as was the Ordnance bundle. Improved Suspension price is out of date there since I didn't take into account the lack of T34/76. So ti should be 8,000 for our current tanks, not 8,750.

I would have preferred upgrading the StuG but I guess that's not that important.

I get the impression that the extra armor would only serve to slow something as fragile as the Type 97 anyway.

“Yeah, that’ll be it, Mr. Mishka. Thanks.”

“Alright, also I just got word that you got an Ultra-Sherman for Walter Christie, just turned up today in fact. What a sorry machine. I assume you be wanting to sell it or something?”

“Well, maybe strip it down for parts, see what we can salvage.”

“I’ll call you later, I’ll have to calculate prices and other sorts for the poor machine. The Chi-Ha will be the first converted too. I’ll get to applying the parts as well, will let you know about discounts later. In the meantime, good luck in the tournament.”

“Thanks, Mr. Mishka!”

With that settled. You now own quite a lot of things. However, you still have to head to school. You pack up your bags and stretch out your arms. You look to see that the rest of your staff, minus Kitten who’s still sleeping soundly, are also prepared for school.

“Right girls,” you say, “You ready?”

You nod. “Of course! Good students read, don’t they?”

“Implying that’s the only thing they do,” says Lisa. “What are you even reading?”

You shrug. “Something for… English class I think?”

Lisa rolls her eyes. “Figures. You can’t even remember what you’re reading it for.”

You scoff. “Well! At least I read in my own time! Unlike the Elementary school teachers who’d scold you for reading during recess because it makes the other students feel bad.”

> The Soldier of Tomorrow: Progress: 60%

You check the time. Still a few minutes before you need to get to class. Strange though, you haven’t spotted Niven at all actually.

Actually, you’ve decided to give the Library another onceover. You finally see something strange with it. At the entrance were two posters, one on the left a red poster advertising the Reading Club. On other side was a blue poster advertising the Writing Club. You scratch your chin as you look at both. They seem practically identical. The thing that strikes you odd is the fact there is a Reading and Writing Club.

They must have had some sort of schism. Wonder what that could be.

You shrug then head off to class. Math class. You sit down in your seat, nodding and greeting a few other students, then wait patiently for class to start

You say, “How about a car wash? I Mean, get a bunch of high school girls together, soak ‘em down with water and soap. We’ll make plenty of money easy!”

Nancy says, “That could work.”

Lisa says, “Yeah, but at most that’d only get us a couple hundred dollars, unless we want to really charge.”

“You’ll think of something, right?” you ask.

Lisa nods, sighing. “I will. Of course, we also have to consider that we’re or more or less spending a lot of money on Tankery.”

You bite the inside of your cheek, grunting. “Yeah. I suppose in all this excitement I completely forgot about being Class President. What’s our class budget like?”

“Our class budget is the Tankery Budget. That’s basically it. I don’t think we could afford to just set aside money, we need every dollar-“ Lisa taps her fingers on the table for emphasis, “-into Tankery. Otherwise, we’re fucked.”

That's not an argument against though. It just means we need to be selective with future purchases to maximize value. E.g. Another Panther chassis would give the KwK bundle excellent value.

On that note, Dammit Schteel, what are you doing? First we could go Russian with 3 T-34 variants, now we have the possibility of 3 Sherman variants. But you only gave us British and German gun bundles. Stop confusing us!

Just kidding, I like the variety. Keeps things interesting.

> Read a Book (The Soldier of Tomorrow)

You crack open The Soldier of Tomorrow again. You flip through a few pages detailing the role of Infantry in today’s modern combat, which hasn’t really changed much from previous eras, take and hold positions.

> The Soldier of Tomorrow: Progress: 70%

ALARM

Welp, that’s the bell there. You bid your staff farewell then head out to gym practice. You change out of your uniform into the navy blue shirt and shorts that Lafayette Girls calls the gym uniform.

“Right,” says the Coach. “Today, we’re going to have physical evaluations.”

Everyone groans, except for you. Scrubs.

The Coach walks up to you. “Pool, I don’t need to test you to know that you’re already in shape. Would you like to help us test out the students?”

You nod. “Alright, Coach.”

With that, you take the helm as unofficial coach. PE Evaluations mostly run the gauntlet of endurance, flexibility, and strength. Of course, this means running, stretching, and the flexed arm-hang or pull ups if they’re feeling daring today. Most just go for the former.

You time Willie Hanna as she does the flexed arm-hang on the pull up bar. Minimum to pass is 30 seconds for all students. Minimum for A+ is a minute thirty seconds. “10 more seconds, Hanna,” you say, holding the stopwatch.

Hanna puffs her red as tomato cheeks out as she struggles to hold it. The sweatdrops are less dripping and more explosively hurling themselves from her face.

“30 seconds.”

Hanna immediately drops down, exhaling in great relief, holding her arms.

“Great job!” you say, smiling. She simply walks past you. “Alright, next!”

Next up is the running. Minimum to pass is 20 laps around the gym. Minimum for an A+ is 55 laps.

Nicole Grant and Hanna clearly strain themselves running, and all you do is stand aside counting their laps. You count their 20th. “20th lap.”

They immediately run past and lie down on the floor.

Next p is the flexibility stuff. Not as aching, but just as annoying and tiring. Mostly consists of reaching behind your back to grab your hands, planking, leg exercises. Nothing out of the ordinary occurs.

The Coach pats your shoulder, smiling proudly. “Thanks for your hard work, Pool.”

You nod, smiling back. “Anytime!”

You decide on hitting the showers once class time is up. As you strip out of your uniform, you’re approached by Hanna, who looks positively dead. “Gertruuuude! Why does the Coach like you so much that you can skip all this!?”

You blush a little. “Oh, it’s nothing. I just keep in shape, you know? Jogging, walking, some heavy lifting.”

Hanna frowns as the both of you walk into the showers. You turn yours on and let the water hit you. “Well,” says Hanna, “maybe I’d exercise more if it meant I could get out of gym whenever I want.”

“Hey, it’s not about getting out of gym, it’s about being healthy!” you say. “You let yourself go, you die earlier, that’s just how it is sometimes.”

Hanna nods. “I suppose. Still, it’s so hard!”

“Well, you need to settle into a routine. Try gradualism. You build yourself up over a period of time, say a month. Try this, you go out every three days a week, alternate walking and running. As you go, add a minute or so to each. Guarantee you, you’ll be running marathons after a couple months.”

Hanna grunts. “I’ll consider it.”

With that, you finish off your shower. It’s time for Theatre Class!

“Hey, Betty, what’s up?”

“Not much. Listen, I might be a little late coming to the meeting today, I got some things to settle with my teachers and my student advisor.”

“Alright, I was just calling because well… we need to go to France for October’s shore leave. Provided we can it make it happen by… October 12th?”

“Let me guess, Tankery?”

“Yes, Tankery. Can you help me?”

“Well, I’ll see what I can do. Maybe Fairless’ll be reasonable.”

“Alright. Take care, okay?”

“You too.”

You hang up and head out of the building. You find your staff idly chatting with each other just outside the campus. You wave, and they notice you, waving back. “President!” greets Nancy. “What’s up?”

You shake your head. “Sleepy day today. Nothing exciting.”

“Ever think you have narcolepsy?” asks Lisa.

“Preposterous. I think I’d know if I had narcowhatsit, Lisa,” you say. “Anyway, let’s get to the Command tower and get this over with.”

Nancy says, “Oh, Fairless called me, she wanted to get your number. And also, we might be there a little longer than just deciding the new Shore Leave location.”

You raise an eyebrow. “Why’s that?”

Lisa says, “We gotta sort out club activities, applications, budget allocations, yearly events like Battle of the Classes, pep rallies, concerts, fundraisers, etcetera etcetera. Essentially, we’ve got a lot of stuff on the backburner that needs doing.”

You grumble. “Great.”

You decide on reading through another section of The Soldier of Tomorrow.

> The Soldier of Tomorrow: Progress: 80%

“Nancy,” you say as you shut the book up.

“Yes?” says Nancy.

“I don’t mean to sound lazy, but once we get all this stuff done, would you mind handling the Student Council stuff?”

Nancy nods. “Not at all, I can do that. But, I do have to say, President, I can’t really get a lot of things done without your approval.”

“That’s fine, just run them by me and we can be straight as an arrow.”

“Of course!” says Nancy. “Hopefully not too much stuff requires our attention though, I’d really like to get home before dinner.”

You dread going to the meeting just a smidge. Although it does mean free food if it means going past dinner time, it still means you’re stuck there PAST dinner time. You shudder. Not looking forward to it. At the very least, those seniors better have ordered good food. Maybe Chick-Fil-A or some Chinese.

You enter the Command Tower, which is filled with faculty members going about their days, filing off grades, waiting in line at the scantron machines. Kate Knispel at the desk looks busy with a teacher so you might as well not bother her. All of you simply head upstairs to the Senior offices.

You stand outside the Senior offices doors. Now that you think about it, you’ve never actually been here before. Hell, maybe you’d find a tank in here. You open the door and see the four members of the Senior staff, sitting around at their desks. They all look over at you.

The Senior Treasurer whom you identified as Henrietta Carnegie says, “Well, if it isn’t the White Knight.”

“Carnegie, nice to see you again,” you say. You look over at the table and OH GOD THEY’VE BROUGHT PIZZA YOU’RE GOING TO BE HERE FOREVER.

Fairless turns from her position at the window and glares at you from behind those glasses of hers. “Well, Gertrude. Nice of you to join us,” she says. “I assume you already know Betty and her girls are gonna be late?”

You nod, as your staff find some empty seats and sit down. “Yeah. I called her after school. She’s talking with some teachers.”

“Right,” says Fairless. “Carnegie, Frick, Walker, I assume you all know the Sophomore Class?”

Andrea Frick and Claire Walker shrug. “Eh,” they both say.

Fairless sighs. “Figures, anyway. We got some work to be doing anyway until they get here. Gertrude,” she points at you, immediately getting your undivided attention. “I want you and your staff to get on club applications. Carnegie and Frick will handle our budgets, with your treasurer’s permission, and Walker will handle miscellaneous stuff.”

Nancy asks, “What are you going to do?”

Fairless heads for the door. “Freshen up, have a nice break,” she says.

Carnegie puffs out a bit of air. “Another smoke break?” Fairless leaves without another word. “Tch, figures,” says Carnegie under her breath. She looks over at you. “Right, gonna get to work?”

Maybe it was the way she sat, the way she leant back, carelessly crossing those long legs of hers, the way her perfect breasts just about outmatched yours even if they were bigger, the way her steely blue eyes looked at you as if saying, “I’m going to murder you and your family and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

… Fuck, why are you even thinking about this?”

“Anyway,” you say, “It’s an educational experience! I mean, Lafayette is named after the Marquis de La Fayette. Maybe it’s time we bring Lafayette back to her spiritual home.”

Fairless tilts her head, still staring at you. Maybe what made her scary was the fact that she didn’t blink, at least visibly so.

Frick says, “I still say Brazil.”

Fairless looks over at Betty, instantly draining her of any happy energy. “What do you think, Betty?”

Betty exhales. “Oh! I don’t mind. Anything’s fine!”

“Fairless, uh… Bernadette. Can I call you Bernie?”

“No.”

“Okay then.” You clear your throat. “Well, Fairless. You know, we could get Shore Leave quicker if we were to dock in say, Cherbourg or Marseille or Dunkirk or Calais. A whole week in the beginning of October. Plus, France is a cool country with a cool language!”

Fairless quirks her brow, sizing you up. You feel a bit naked at that. She says, “Comment est votre francais?”

… Ah shit.

You say the only thing you can say at a moment like this. “Quoi?”

Fairless nods. “Alright then,”

Frick says, “So, what, we’re going to France?”

Fairless shrugs. “Well, do you any of you girls have any better arguments?”

Frick and Carnegie look at each other, then shrug. “Well,” says Carnegie. “I suppose France isn’t all that bad.”

Carnegie nods. “Betty?”

Betty nods. “Sure, France sounds nice.”

Fairless grunts, sitting up and leaning forward, looking directly at you. Oh god, please stop that, Fairless. “Alright. If we have no greater objections, I’ll have us scheduled to go to an Atlantic port in France.”

Aw yi-

“However,” says Fairless, “Gertrude. I would suggest you’d study on your French. If it’s a trip where you want to speak the language, you might as well start speaking it.”

You decide to “delegate” the club applications to Ramirez, who simply takes the work as if it’s nothing. Thusly, you’re now working with Nancy on scheduling.

“So, Fairless,” says Nancy. “Where do you want the Battle of the Classes?”

Fairless says, “Put it in the spring. I don’t think the Freshmen have much class spirit just yet. And I want the Orchestra concerts on weekends if at all practicable.”

You and Nancy nod. “Sure.” You read through some of the unscheduled events. Not too many, just standard school spirit stuff. Pep rallies, trains, etc.

“Say, how many pep rallies are we having?” you ask.

“Four as usual,” says Fairless. “Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer.”

You nod. “So, when do you want the Fall Pep Rally scheduled?”

“I don’t care, just as long as it’s in the fall,” says Fairless.

You nod, and you Nancy begin agreeing on when to place certain events. You simply mark down events on the calendar, and then Nancy makes notes on calling any significant clubs which would contribute to that event, orchestra, sports, etc.

You mark down the Fall Pep Rally for October 4th. Might get you some brownie points with Tankery after all.

You get a phonecall.

“Well, it is all money donated from generous sponsors and such.”

Carnegie says, “You set any aside for your class?”

“… Well no. But honestly, the Tankery team needs every dollar it can get. Considering… you know?”

Carnegie grunts. “Well, I should let you know that I wholeheartedly disapprove considering you’ve spent the better part of almost 200,000 dollars on Tanks, a warehouse for your tanks, and other miscellaneous expenses. Not to mention that Betty here,” Betty goes a bit white as she works. “-is missing some money which she claims she doesn’t know where it went.”

You shrug. “Well, that’s a shame.”

Fairless walks over and looks over Carnegie’s shoullll….

Fairless nods. “Right. Well,” she says, “Carnegie, what do you think?”

Carnegie shrugs. “Simple, I think with all this money, maybe Miss Pool would be willing to set aside around 5,000 Dollars or so to the class for their Prom and other activities thusly. Considering you know, the new “Tankery Headquarters”?”

Fairless nods again, then looks over at you, glaring. “So, Gertrude. Think you can start your Sophomore Class fund and set aside 5,000 Dollars for it?”

You look over at Fairless’ cigarette. “So, is this smoking a regular thing with you?”

You ask her, “So, it stressful working with Fredendall?”

“Why do you think I smoke?” she says.

You tilt your head. “Fair point.”

Fairless says, “Well, Fredendall dumps a lot of the responsibilities that should be hers on me. Scheduling, class clubs, all that stuff. Expects me to do it with a smile on my face.”

You shrug. “Well, it’s not hard. Just smile and be done with it.”

“Of course,” says Fairless. “You know, Fredendall really hates you.”

“Gee,” you say bluntly. “I hadn’t noticed.”

“She talks a lot about you, calling you some bitch that think she’s being some kind of hero. White Knight she calls you.”

You say, “Do you particularly agree with that?”

Fairless grunts. “Personally, I admire your dedication to wanting to save the school. Kinda wish you’d been born earlier. I’d like to be your VP.”

You nod. “Ah. I can see why I want to win it then.”

“Yes,” says Fairless. “She’ll be behind your opponent every step of the way, endorsements, lobbying, all the usual politicking stuff. You know Jeannette Rankin right?”

You nod. “Waitress at IHOP, ran against me last year.”

“Fredendall’s top choice. She’s actually pretty popular with the Sophomores,” she says.

You nod again. “Alright. So why are you telling me all this?”

Fairless shrugs. “Because I’d like for you to win. Honest to goodness, I’d like to see the school live for another decade or so at least. Just keep sailing, you know?”

You say, “So, why don’t you just help the Tankery Program?”

Fairless shakes her head. “Fredendall would ruin me.”

“How?”

“I don’t need to say how. Just that she will.”

You’re quiet for a couple of seconds. “Well, Fairless, that’s an interesting thing. I will win. Just you wait.”

Fairless nods, then checks the time. “We better get back.” She places the cigarette back into its tiny little capsule, then she leads you out of the bathroom.

You both arrive back at the Senior Offices. Nancy has fallen asleep, head in her arms on the desk. Ramirez is continuing to file through things but at much more tired rate, while Lisa continues prattling on with Carnegie and Frick on budgetary issues. Looks like you’re all almost done.

You sigh as you begin filing everything in its proper place. First denied applications get put into one folder, second denied applications get put into another, third and up get put through the shredder. Accepted applications are put into another folder, then you sort through allocations of clubrooms on the campus, AND THEN THERE’S HAVING TO EMAIL THEM ALL.

You finally hit enter on the last email. “Okay,” you say. “I think I’m done.”

“NOT SO FAST!” says Frick. Oh for FUCK- She drops a stack of papers on your desk.

You arch your back, groaning as several bones pop and crack. You look at the now freshly filed paperwork. “It’s…” you slowly and tiredly say, “all done…”

Fairless nods from her desk. “Good. You all can go, I can take it from here.”

All the Councils stand up and begin packing up. Nancy looks over at Fairless. “Are you sure you’ll be alright?”

Fairless nods. “It’s just a couple of files to work through. Shouldn’t take me long. I’ll hit the lights after you all.”

You nod. “Alright, good night, Fairless.”

You say, “Really?”

Nancy asks you, “Think we might cancel Tankery Practice if it comes to that?”

Early in the day? Not much considering most of the time was spent asleep.
It's late in the day that was a killer. I guess that's karma for ya.
Ask how Kitten's practice went.
>>
>>29264436
That's less coherent than usual, anon.
>>
>>29264473
Is it? I'll try again, I guess.

"blame the /u/boaters for making Trudy a little shit of a teenager because they only think with their dicks"
>>
I suggest investing in buying some electronic cigereetes for her, later on
>>
>>29264436
No, it's because she's genuinely tired and there's tank practice tomorrow.

>>29264494
How is her punching out after a day of hard work being a little shit?
>>
>>29264494
GASP! A teenager behaving like a teenager! Absolutely unheard of! The humanity!
>>
>>29264494
No, I meant that there's no reasonable way that makes logical sense. Nothing /u/-boat related was even part of the conversation until Trude had already left, and there was no vote to allow us to return with Nancy.
>>
>>29264436
>>29264494

We were falling asleep and, though she turned out to be a pretty nice person, Fairless did less work then anyone else in that room. If she wants to do us a favour, I say let her.

>making Trudy a little shit of a teenager
What's she done to make you think that?

You say, “Oh, it was nothing! Just a bunch of busywork. You know?”

Kitten hands you a cup of milk, which you immediately take and down it in one big gulp. “Well,” says Kitten, “Glad you’re home.”

You nod. “Of course, Kitten. Wouldn’t be nothing without you, you know?”

“Yeah, you keep telling yourself that,” she says. She sits down at her computer and returns to playing her video games.

“Watchu playing?” you ask curiously.

“Company of Heroes 2 campaign.” She turns back to you, saying, “You know, the campaign for Company of Heroes 2 really shits on the Soviets for what they did on the Eastern Front. It’s kind of offensive.”

You say, “Well, I don’t play all kinds of RTS’s. They’re too… mind boggling for me.”

“Trudy, you successfully playing an RTS is like finding a real live unicorn and asking it to grant you wish. It simply isn’t going to be done.”

You pout. “Well, it was done in Heavenly Nostrils!”

“That’s different. It’s fictional.”

“Still.”

You yawn as you pull up your textbooks and start studying up on French, English, and Math, the only real subjects you need to study up on. Fuck Chemistry.

You feel your eyes start to close a little. You waver a little in trying to stay awake but as everyone knows, you expend more energy in trying to stay awake than you normally would. You sigh, and just deal with it, not like it’s anything you’re not used to.

Kitten rolls back to the bed in her chair, leaning over you. “You okay?”

You nod groggily. “Yeeeaaahh…” you say groggily. “Kitten, you got any like, soda or something?”

She looks at you, confused. “This late in the evening?”

“Oh, don’t give me that, you probably drink so much coke that the Police probably kick your door down regularly.”

Kitten scoffs. “There’s soda in the fridge.”

You stand up and head over to the fridge. You look through, soda, milk, water, purple stuff, THREE KINDS OF SUNNY D, and more soda. You pick the soda. Need that sugar to keep yourself going.

You head back to studying and find yourself just a smidge more awake now that you’re drinking coke. You’re processing the information just a little better now. For all intents and purposes, you’re STUDYING.

Your phone rings.

You say, “Gertrude Pool speaking.”

“Hello, hello,” British accents. Could it be? “It’s Victoria Augustine from William Adam Naval Academy!”

“… How did you get this number?”

“ITL Officials. What, you didn’t give your phone number during the Tournament?”

“I don’t remember doing it.”

“Well, hey, look at this way, at least you know I’m gracing you by giving you call. So what’s up?”

“Not much. Got some work done. Tankery practice is tomorrow actually, depending on how severe the storm tomorrow is.”

“Right, right. Just calling to let you guys know, you and your Tankery team’s invited to a little dinner we’re having onboard our ship this Saturday. Interested?”

“Maybe. A little. Sorry, I’m just exhausted right now, a party?”

“Of sorts. Just a little dinner party, get to know each other better before the match, maybe throw some trashtalk your way.” You can barely hear what sounds like an Irish girl shouting, “Tell her she’s a cunt!” Victoria says, “I’m not gonna tell her she’s a cunt you fucking pikey! Get back in bed!” You can hear the girl respond, “Bite me you dyke!” Victoria grunts then returns to you. “Anyway, just throwing that out there. Saturday, no need to wear anything fancy, just show up in your uniforms. Tankery uniform if you have it, yeah?”

“Okay. Thanks, Victoria.”

“Right? Right. Good night.”

You yawn deeply as you continue studying. You take some more notes on proper mathematical procedure, grammatical format, etc. You whine as you turn another page and strain your eyes on more and more inked words relating to things that you don’t really care about but are essential to your knowledge.

“Kiiiiiitteeeeeennnnnnn…” you say. “It’s sooooo haaaaaard!”

Kitten finishes up her last mission, then rolls over to you. “Why don’t you just crash here, huh?”

“Okaaaaay…” you say. You unclip your bra, sighing in relief then roll over on your back. Kitten piles up your books and puts them back in your bag. “You know, Kitten, we’re going to be having a dinner party with the Brits on Saturday. That’s something to look forward to.”

“Great,” says Kitten. “More people that I won’t be able to connect to.”

“Yeah, you keep telling yourself that,” you say sleepily. Kitten throws a blanket and a pillow your direction, and you immediately cozy up. Kitten shuts the light off. “Don’t you need that?”

“I don’t need the light to play videogames,” says Kitten. She pulls her high quality headphones out from their case. “Anyway, think the storm will rain us out tomorrow?”

I hope Schteel gives us the opportunity. They aren't listed as a potential crew in the pastebin.
Speaking of, we need to recruit at least one other crew to fill the Chi-Ha when the Rifle Team gets back their tank back and really crunch down on getting the Aces into that Panzer. Maybe make it a priority Wednesday if we get free time.

You snuggle into the pillow, grunting. “Kitten, a little rain never hurt nobody. We’ll be fine.” Kitten shrugs then begins returning to her computer. You stop her. “Wait! Sing me a song.”

Kitten sighs. “Seriously?”

“Come oooonnnn… I love your singing! You might as well practice, you’re going to be in a play after all!”

Kitten walks over, then kneels down by the bed. “One song.”

You grin. “Yay!”

Kitten clears her throat, then tries to figure something out. “What do you want me to sing?”

“Anything that suits your fancy,” you say.

Kitten nods. She licks her lips a little, then begins softly.

Kiss me mother, kiss your darling,
Lay my head upon your breast,
Throw your loving arms around me
I am weary, let me rest

That's not fair, she didn't actually rape anyone that we know of, only drool over/masturbate to/taunt her opponent in a match.

>>29265987
She did forcibly kiss FNC.
>>
>>29266925
While that's certainly sexual assault, that's nowhere near rape. It's still misdemeanor territory.
