Slowly you begin to wake up and you quickly realize. Your ass hurts. In fact everything hurts. Opening your eyes you attempt to lean up in bed and immediately regret your decision to do so as moving your neck produces quite a bit of discomfort. Looking around the room you find you’re not in your room back on Eden Island, but rather your room at the Sleeper Inn.

Your shirt is off and you’re covered in bandages with your backpack and supplies piled up in a corner. Overall you feel like shit, it’s painful to move your neck and your head is throbbing in pain. The only constellation is that you don’t think you have any broken bones.
Before you can wonder where the Refractor is and how you got here, Ira walks into the room carrying a tray of food.

“Oh you’re awake again!” Ira says with a gleeful smile. She walks over and sets the tray by your bed, before sitting down beside you and looking you over.

“What happened?” You ask as you rub your temples.

“You passed out after you came out of those ruins. I managed to drag you back to town and took you to the hospital. You checked out OK but when you woke up you were acting all weird. You were all glassy eyed and started saying weird stuff. You’ve been like that for two days now.”

You raise an eyebrow at this. You don’t remember waking up before now…

“What did I say?” You ask

brain damage despite the other doctors confirming you didn’t.” Ira leans over and gives you a light hug, which still hurts quite a bit.
“I’m glad you’re OK.”

“Yeah so am I.” You say, raising your arms to return the hug, only to drop them due to the pain. “What happened to that Refractor I grabbed?”

“Oh I gave it to Cruiser. He didn’t want to take it at first because he was worried you had died trying to get it, but after I assured him you’d recover he agreed to take it and join up with us! He finished working on that car of his and is apparently looking over that crashed ship he told you about. He should be back by now.”

Ira breaks the hug and picks up the tray of food, which for once is not deep fried or greasy.

“I asked Mrs. Sleeper if I could use the kitchen to make some proper food I bought. I didn’t think pizza and cheese stick were the food an injured Digger should be eating.” She offers the food to you.

It’s pretty good looking, at least compared to what you've been eating. Some kind of dark stew like soup, some fresh fruit, and some toast with some kind of jelly on it.

“I hope you’re not upset, but I kind of had to use some of your money to pay for some proper food and your short stay at the hospital…” Ira explains

>-1050 Zenny (3150 Zenny remaining)

“It was expensive, yes, but I would have felt like a totally jerk if I tried taking care of you by myself without making sure you didn’t have something really wrong with you.” Ira explains apologetically.

As you eat the food Ira prepared for you, you think about what you wish to do next.

Maybe something we said will make more sense to her once she knows what what went on in there. Even if it doesn't, we should tell her about the sapient Reaverbot. Has she ever heard of ones with intelligence before?

As you eat you fill Ira in on what happened in the Forest Ruin, especially the stuff that went on after she lost contact with you. You tell her about your fight with the seemingly sentient Reaverbot and what it said to you before it died.

"Do you know what an Anthro Unit is?"

"No. I've never heard of anything by that name before. Are you sure you're remembering this correctly Bass?" Ira asks looking visibly disturbed by what you told her.

"I'm sure of it, this wasn't some dream or hallucination, that thing beat the living hell out of me and nearly killed me." Ira frowns and nods her head.

"Alright. I don't mean to question your sanity or anything, it's just...something like this is scary. A Reaverbot that can think? The implications are..." Ira shakes her head. "I don't want to think about it."

As you finish your food, your mind goes back to what Ira said before.

"Ira, can you remember anything about what I said the other times I was awake?

"Not really. You weren't really saying anything I could understand, I just assumed it was gibberish. There was one word you said a couple times though..."

Ira struggles to say the odd, almost inhuman word. However the moment she speaks it correctly you recognize it's meaning. "Growth" or is it "Development":?

"That word...that word seems familiar to me.I think it means growth or maybe development depending on the context." Your head begins to pound as you think about it.

"It does? Well I checked earlier at the library earlier and from what I can tell the word doesn't exist in the standard language. Maybe it's from a native island language?" Ira suggests.

"I don't know...are there any foreign language experts on the island?" You ask.

(cont)
>>
>>29296678
"Not that I know of. We really aren't exactly an educational center. We'd have better luck finding one on an island that has a museum or an academy." Ira explains.

You let out a sigh and think on what to do next.

Bass apparently couldn't recognize the electronics parts he found. I guess human tech uses something different in its internals by this point. Maybe Cruiser would know what they were?

>>29296786
That makes sense. No, seriously. If he's unlocking his...whatever his knowledge of ancient civilization is from, rambling about it being activated is entirely plausible.
>>

I'd say get him to work on appraising the stuff first while we rest. We certainly need it, that's for sure.

We're pretty banged up. We could ask Ira to have Cruiser check that stuff for us, considering how he's now part of the team.

"If you can find Cruiser, get an update on him about the ship and have him look this stuff over." You have Ira fish the stuff out of your bag and put them in her own.

"What are you going to do?" Ira asks.

"I'm going to sleep. I feel like I'm on the verge of death." Ira leaves and you lie back in bed to rest.

>>
>>29297355
I just don't want to lie around convalescing while we have Ira run errands for us. It suggests unpleasant things about our competence as a digger if we're this damaged after our first ruin. We don't want her doubting her decision to join up with us.
>>
>>29297430
Fair enough, but I still think we should wait a day for our wounds to heal properly.

I think that she will understand.
>>
>>29297355
Not really, but there's always the potential of those pirates showing up while we're sleeping.

Let's sleep for a few hours, Ira can take a breather, and after that we can go visit Cruiser to check out some stuff. Maybe even celebrate our first successful digging expedition.

You decide to sleep for a day. Considering you were almost killed, you don't think Ira's exactly going to hold it against you for trying to heal up, she is a trained doctor after all she'd probably talk your ear off if you tried to do anything but get better.

Leaving Ira to the errands you gave her you spend the day greeting better, sleeping, eating, using the bathroom, and doing stuff to pass the time. You draw a little, trying to map out that last Ruin from memory. Despite your shitty art you do a decent job of sketching out a crude map, making you feel a bit better knowing your memory hasn't gone to shit.

Before going to bed for the night you look over the necklace your mother gave you and think about it a bit. Maybe you should have someone look at it. It doesn't look like much to you, just a dull metal pendant with a punch of lines and notches in it, but to a trained eye or maybe a more experienced Digger there might be something more too it.

Closing your eyes you begin to dream...

Looking at the pendant you fall asleep. You slowly drift into a dream involving your mother. You're standing on the dock out in front of your house. Fog covers the water, blocking out the sun and it's warmth. Your mother stands at the edge of the dock with her back to you, looking out at the water and into the impenetrable fog. Turning she climbs into the spare boat your father always used to keep. As she goes to start the motor she sees you standing there, looking at her in confusion.

"Are you going somewhere Mom?" You ask.

"Yes. I'm going away for a little while. There's some things I need to do." She replies, putting on a smile.

"Can I come with you?" You ask, walking closer to the boat.

"I'm afraid not. I need you to stay here with your father." She sees you frown and her smile fades. Quickly she takes the necklace from her neck and hands it to you, leaning over the edge of the boat to fix it around your neck.

"Wear that where ever you go. It'll keep you safe." She says.

You aren't sure what to say, so you hold out your stuffed Reaverbot toy and offer it to her. Your mother smiles and takes it, but her eyes begin to water up like she's about to cry.

She opens her mouth to say something but...

You can't remember what happened after that. Your dream spirals into random madness, soda machines, garbage cans, getting run over by cars, and bikini clad blond pirates fill the rest of your dreams until you wake up.

Opening your eyes, you look around the room and find you're not in your room back on Eden Isle. Ira isn't in the room, but there's a note on the door. Getting out of bed you feel noticeably better and walk over and read the note.

"Dear Bass. I'm at Cruisers Garage. If you wake up before I get back, look for me there!"

You go to Tom and Tom's Junk shop to meet up with Ira and Cruiser. Heading into the back you find Ira helping Cruiser tune up a very nice looking car.

Cruiser comes out from under it, grinning like a kid on his birthday. "Like it? Can you believe they were using this for making Tofu deliveries?"

Ira orders pizza, chicken wings, cheese sticks, and a few bottles of soda from "Pizza, Tofu, and Stuff." Once it arrives you all sit down and talk. At first Cruisers talks more about his car, how thankful he is to you for getting him that Refractor, and how sorry he is to hear you got hurt getting it.

"Don't feel bad though about getting your ass kicked. Considering this was your first dig and how you're essentially untrained and under-equipped this was very successful." Cruiser states, stripping the meat off a chicken wing.

"Well I hope getting beat up and slipping into a small coma doesn't become normal for us." Ira states with a sigh.

You talk a bit more before eventually asking about what you're really interested in.

(Continued)
>>

Yeah, you've got a point there. And who knows what growing up with a nuts dad did to Bass.
>>
>>29299004
Or from Elysium. Perhaps our mother was actually a Mother, making us some sort of psuedo-Servitor Unit.
>>
>>29299318
"So what about this ship you told me about? Did you look it over? What kind of shape is it in?" You ask, wolfing down a couple of cheese sticks.

"Well considering how long it's been there and how hard it crashed? It's in excellent condition all things considered. The main body and frame is still solid as a rock, no rusting or severe damage outside of some crushed plates and dented panels that need fixing. The engine room and and external engines are also pretty much intact as well. They need maintenance and a Refractor, but other then that they only need minor repairs." Crusiers states with a smile.

"That's not to say the ship doesn't need work. The rutters of the ship are all but gone, we were lucky we didn't lose the side engines when the side rutters were torn off. The interior of the ship is disgusting, plants dirt, moss, vermind, birds, and just about every other creature of the forest seems to have made the ship their home meaning it's going to be a mess to clean up. They've also destroyed just about everything in the ship the crash and the weather didn't, so even once we fix the ship we're going to have to put money down to furnish it. On top of all that the bridge needs a ton of work, most of the instruments have been totally ruined by the rain getting in through the broken windows."

"How much is it going to cost us to fix?" You ask.

"40,000 Zenny more or less." Cruiser states.

(Continued)
>>
>>29299701
"40,000!?" Ira exclaims.

"Hey fixing a crashed ship isn't cheap, but you have to spend money to make money. Now from what I can tell we'll need a C-Class or bigger Refractor to run the engines. We only need one Refractor and considering there are three more ruins on the island I have a feeling we'll be able to sell any Refractors that don't fit or we find after we find one for the ship." Cruiser explains.

"Well the Power Plant is looking to get more Refractors. I'm sure we could sell any Refractors we can't use to the power plant for money." Ira says, calming down after thinking things over.

What do you think about this Bass? Do you have any questions for Cruiser?
>>
>>29299847
Does Cruiser have any idea what the parts we found in the Forest Ruins are? Bass has reasonably okay skill with technology, but he doesn't know electronics.
>>
>>29299847
Nope, lets go for now, we have ruins to explore and ancient languages to study.
>>
>>29299847
How much of the parts needed to fix the airship are things we can salvage, does he know someone who has a boat, and if he's up for a joy ride
>>
>>29299847
Isn't zenny just tiny Refractors? How can the power plant pay for Refractors with Refractors? Does the power output scale exponentially as they go up in size or something? Because otherwise I'd think it would be better to just hold onto the zenny.
>>
>>29299847
Ask about the stuff we found in the forest ruins.

After that, lets plan ahead. We need to raid more ruins, and sell what we find to the highest bidders.
We need cash, upgrades, everything.
>>
>>29300045
We should also check out the forest ruins sometime again. Just to see if we can figure out more about the sapient Reaverbot (we need a better name for it, by the way) now that we have some understanding of the ancient language and can read its writing.
>>
>>29300124
Yeah, that's a good point.

Maybe Cruiser has some more ideas about that sentient Reaverbot?
>>
>>29299847
does he have a way of hauling a broken pirate ship from the sea? Maybe we can scavenge parts from that.
>>
>>29300333
Maybe. But our little boat was a one-man fighter. There might be some useful parts, but not many.
>>
>>29300416
a secondary engine or refractor would be enough. Some weapons would be nice too, if we can modify them to upgrade the buster.
>>
>>29300492
Well, we have some time to heal up before going into another ruin.
Might as well drag the fighter out while we explore those forest ruins a bit more.
>>
>>29300031
Power output goes up significantly as size increases, you know that much as a Digger. That's why everything below an A Class is just considered Zenny.

>>29299941
"Did you make heads or tails of any of the stuff I found in the ruins?" You ask.

"Oh yeah I looked over the stuff you brought me and it was pretty interesting stuff..." Cruiser brings the stuff over to the table and explains each item to you.

"This giant syringe thing? Apparently it's exactly what it looks like, it's giant syringe with a very fine, very hard, and very scary looking needle. I can't think of any use for this, but Ira had a weapon idea in mind for herself..."

"Don't tell him about it! I want it to be a surprise." Ira says with a smile.

"Alright. The next thing is that spool of gold colored foil you found. Despite having the same color this stuff isn't gold, it's some kind of powerful superconductive metal. I might be able to use it to make some stuff for you later down the line, but it could also fetch a mean price if we can find the right buyer. Last but not least is that circuit board you found. To be honest I haven't figured out what it does yet, but it's obviously very advanced and I doubt it's from a VHS player. It wouldn't advise selling this until I know what it does, but if you're really hungry for money I think I can come up with some bullshit on what it can do." Cruiser explains as he puts the stuff back in your bag.

>>29299970
>>29300416
>>29300492
"How much of the stuff needed to fix the ship can we salvage?" You ask.

"Not much. I mean anything would be helpful, but I don't think it'd make a significant impact on the repair, unless you we can 'salvage' enough appropriately strengthened metal to make to giant airship rudders out of." Cruiser says with a shrug.

"Well I crashed down in a small one man pirate fighter. It landed in the water pretty close to shore. If we salvaged it do you think we could get anything you could use?"

(Cont)
>>
>>29300748
mmmmmm, salvage
>>
>>29300748
Well the metal making it up should still be good, but it would only be a drop in the bucket for what I need. The sea water probably ruined all the electronics, but the weapons and ammo might still be good, however this ship isn't really designed for combat. Still, it might be at least worth looking into." Cruiser nibbles on some pizza as he thinks it over.

"The problem is we'd need a boat and divers that could tow it up to the surface for us. I have a trailer I could plop it down on, and I know my beautiful car has the pulling power to get it back to the shop for disassembly. Problem is I don't know anyone who'd lend us a boat or some diving equipment. We could probably pay some of the divers that pass through here now and then, but their kind of assholes. We could always try diving down ourselves and towing it to shore with the car, but that could be pretty dangerous..."

>>29300299
Breaking away from the problems with salvaging that fighter, you ask him about the sentient Reaverbot which Ira told him about.

"I don't know man, I have a hard time believing that thing was as alive as you said it was. I've tried coming up with some justifications on how that couldn't be possible but they all have issues. I really don't know what to make of the sentient Reaverbot, but I wouldn't go running my mouth about it. That kind of talk can cause panic, and if people get too frightened of the ruins then chances are we won't be able to dig in them legally anymore, which means we'll be stuck here for quite a while working day jobs." Cruiser warns.

The three of you talk for a bit longer and finish up the food. You know you need to go ruin diving again for more money. However you're still pretty beat up after your last dive. Maybe you should try to focus on other stuff for now.

also, have a look at the fighter in the first place. The point of the boat is that it can drag straight upwards, but depending on the geometry, using the car shouldn't be too much of a danger. even then, we can always stick to what works: PULLEYS, PULLEYS AND ROPE EVERYWHERE.

The more dangerous robots have been cleared out already, so it shouldn't be too dangerous. And I want to drag the remains back to Cruiser to show him that we're not crazy. Even though they were set on fire and he probably couldn't figure out anything from them. But we only burned out the torso, maybe he can salvage something something from the head. Going back to the ruins to search for clues or salvage you missed might be a good idea, but who do you want to take with you?

Ira doesn't seem to have much to do, but she has a few thing she'd like to work on if she can get the time. She won't specify what exactly but she doesn't seem like the kind of person to slack off.

Cruiser is busy, he need to look over the ship, start cleaning it out, checking things over that need repair, and start working on where to buy the materials from. However after asking him he doesn't seem to have any qualms with following you around for a while.

You decide to take Cruiser along. He doesn't have any weapons to bring, but he has a big ass wrench that will at least allow him to somewhat protect himself should anything try to maul him.

Leaving Ira to her own devices you pack your stuff and head out to the Forest Ruins with Cruiser. The walk is a bit easier since you know where you need to go and you feel more comfortable going down the rope this time knowing you won't be mauled by spike traps.

Leading Cruiser through the ruin, you decide to show him to where the Humanoid's 'corpse' should be. On the way though you notice that the Zakobon you destroyed aren't anywhere to be found.

Entering the chamber you fought the Humanoid in you look around to see that the body is nowhere to be found.

At first you begin to search the room, thinking maybe it was somewhere in the darker corners of the room, but Cruiser calls you over as he opens the door to the room that once held the ruins Refractor.

Inside the room is the body of the humanoid, laid out on the floor, surrounded by the battered and blasted bodies of the Zakobon you destroyed, all the leaves, stones, sticks, empty beehives, and birds nests the Humanoid had probably collected were piled around it and the other 'dead' Zakobon like some kind of bizarre funeral shrine.

What do you wish to do Bass?
>>
>>29302157
raise buster, remove pendant, scan the room.
tell Cruiser to investigate the mound, Bass can stand watch.
>>
>>29302157
Okay, this is weird. Is there another humanoid Reaverbot around?
Be on guard, have Cruiser check that funeral shrine while we keep guard.
>>
>>29302157

>>
>>29302278
Unless it's Treble, then we tame that beautiful wolf bastard
>>
>>29302157
Well, now I feel bad about wanting to loot their corpses. Let's not desecrate a funeral. Also, what the hell put them there? There can't be another protoform down here, the Sonic Reaverbot wouldn't have commented on no longer being alone if that was the case. So is this just a programmed function of the maintenance bots? For now, let's take a quick look at the shrine to see if there are any markings like the Sonic Reaver had in its chamber.
>>
Wasn't there something that grabbed our pole the last time we were here? It was probably this thing, but there is obviously another Reaverbot at work here. Maybe this guy's parents or kid or something.

You almost don't notice it, but on the ceiling of the very dark room you see a panel slide back and four black colored Zakobon drop down silently into one of the dark corners. Looking over your shoulder you see four black Zakobon slinking around in the darkness in the room behind you.

"Cruiser, we have company you say" Seconds before the Zakobon speed out in front of you, their eyes lighting up and odd blue fields deploy, encompassing their entire bodies.

From Cruiser's gasp you can tell that these strange new Zakobon are also behind you now and currently have you surrounded. You would have been shitting yourself if you hadn't seen them.

The Zakobon just sit their, looking at you with their orb like eyes, or rather maybe they're looking at the pendant? You can't tell.

Looking over your shoulder you see the Zakobon are doing the same thing behind you. Sitting, staring, and not moving an inch.

You need to do something before the Zakobon or Cruiser do something.

You close your eyes and think on what you want to say and then you open your mouth and begin to speak. Your head immediately begins to pound as you do so and slowly you realize that you're not speaking English, but rather something else entirely.

After you finish speaking your head still hurts and the Zakobon don't seem to have been effected by what you said. Two of the black Zakobon in front of you, turn to one another and stare at each other, not making a sound, just looking at one another.

After what seems like ages they turn to face you and all at one, the black Zakobons in front and behind you back up, giving you enough space to walk to the entrance and leave.

Despite not saying anything, you have a gut feeling that they want you to leave and to never come back.

After leaving the room you and Cruiser rush to the entrance, climb your way to the exit, and pull up the rope.

"What the hell was that about?" Cruiser asked, confused and visibly shaken.

"I don't know...I honestly don't know." You state, looking back into the dark hole...

After walking back to town and heading to the docks, you and Cruiser begin your search. Eventually a few of the folks selling diving supplies point you in the right direction and you find a team of divers hanging out on a boat, obviously equipped to recover things from under water.

Explaining what you wish to do and the location of the fighter, the leader of the divers names their price.

"2000 Zenny." He states.

"What? 2000? It's just off shore! It can't be that far underwater."

"It's not the depth, it's us. Diving gear isn't cheap and we normally look for valuables and bigger hauls then a single dinky fighter. There won't be any other divers coming up here for a while so we're your best bet...of course, if 2000 zenny is too cheap for you I'm always willing to be paid in favors..." The head diver grins and his buddies laugh.

"I've heard you're friends with Ira. And I really want to sleep with her. If you can help me get into her pants I'll help drag you up that fighter and anything else we find for free. That's a reasonable offer isn't it? What do you say?"

"Hope you know how to dig, because I am about to bury my boot in your ass!"

You punch him in the dick with your Buster Gun arm. The smashing blow from the metal gun sends the asshole diver into the water clutching his junk. His friends leap to attack you but you clock them out easily, Cruiser beating the shit out of the ones that come his way with ease, fighting more like a professional wrestler then a brawler.

The fight lasts a few minutes, with you taking great pleasure in kicking the shit out of the lead diver after her crawls out of the water with his swollen pecker to fight you.

You leave the five divers on the docks, bruiser, battered, and their leader, Hunter, still clasping his junk after the second punch to the groin.

On the way back to the garage, Cruiser laughs and puts a hand on your shoulder.

"You know something, I used to work for assholes who would have taken a deal like that in a heartbeat. For an instant I was worried you were going to turn out the same way, that ended pretty quickly after I saw you upper cut Hunter in the dick. I'm glad I joined up with you!"

You and Cruiser not only setup up a means to pull the Fighter back to shore, but you manage to drag it to shore with little to no problem! As you drag it in you take a moment to flip Hunter off as he rides past in his boat, probably coming by to steal the fighter you mentioned in an attempt to get back at you. You can see the anger in his face as you and Cruiser load up the fighter and drive off with it, you flipping him off until you're out of sight.

It might be recoverable. Dirk should still be able to talk to X-Rounders via telepathy. And Fram, having an emotional attachment to Scarlet and the ability to talk to the dead, would believe Scarlet is still alive. So if they get in touch not only can Dirk work towards recovery (perhaps an extension of MID's cyborg tech to his entire body?), but also start searching for Scarlet. We can get Asemu in on it, too, having him go off and work search independently for a while and thereby get his Captain Ash persona established. And if we bring up with Rysis the things Dirk has found out about Arthur, she might realize that hiding Scarlet's survival isn't really going to do anything when it comes to protecting the Crocker family from Arthur. We already stole Uther's corpse, I don't think we can get a bigger target drawn on our backs.

I mean growing up I thought...most people think that Reaverbots are just machines, all they do is kill people and protect the ruins because that's what they were programmed to do. But after my fight with that 'anthro' unit and seeing what the Zakobon's did to their dead...It's made me wonder."

The father sighs and pats your shoulder. "It's making me wonder too my son. However I believe that all life on this earth is sentient to some respect. From the dogs and the cats, to the trees and the grass. So if the Reaverbots are some form of artificial life, then maybe they to are sentient. I don't know for sure and I'm afraid it's against my nature to give you false truths even if it's to put you at ease. This is something you just have to decide for yourself." The father stands up and begins to sweep, but stops and turns to you before you leave.

"However I will say this. All things are capable of evil, and just because something is alive doesn't mean you should hesitate to protect yourself or the ones you love. The Reaverbots have had thousands of years to communicate with us, to make peace with us, and share their knowledge with us. However they didn't and now we must take what they protect to survive. Whoever created the Reaverbots did not have our best interests at heart, that I know in my heart."

You leave, still lost on the matter but at the same time a little less worried about it.

Returning to Cruiser's garage you help him in taking apart the fighter...

Well, Rysis already fucked up when she stole Scarlet's body away, and then claiming how she can't return it for some reason or another. And not only didn't Fram sense her dying, Scarlet also told Jake that Rysis offered to make her a cyborg - so he might ask Rysis to stop bullshitting around and tell him what's going on. So Scarlet might return, robo-legs and all.

We were kind of the aggressor in this scenario, though. We walked into the Reaverbot's house, took his stuff, and killed his friends. Sure, we offered truce, but I can understand him not wanting to after all we did. Maybe Reaverbots are an antagonistic life form, but we're still kind of dicks.

I'll be OK. I think. Might as well roll to see if I cry or not seeing as how the odds are better that I won't if I do.

>20+1=21 Critical

You greatly assist Cruiser in taking apart the Fighter, shaving a couple hours off in the process. Once everything is done Cruiser stays behind to look everything over while you go back to the Inn to sleep since it's nearly midnight and you're very tired.

Once you're in your room you strip off your gear, take a quick shower and slide into bed. Today was a pretty eventful day. You punched a dude in the dick, you flipped him off while pulling up a fighter, you came to question if the Reaverbots are sentient and if they are antagonistic by nature or just reacting to how invasive humanity is.

Overall, a very productive day...

(This is where I have to end things for tonight. Sorry for cutting things so short but I kind of have stuff I need to do. Chapter 6 will be longer. As a side note, for everyone who follows my Gundam AGE Quest, the next part will be tomorrow at 3:30. Thanks for playing everyone. See you later and yes I'll archive)
>>
Okay, someone needs to draw Bass driving past a whole bunch of other quest protags, while flipping them the double bird. While towing the fighter.

This time, we rolled about 5 nat 20s.

Last time, we had 13.

>>29307681
It's pretty good. It takes one of the lesser entries into the franchise and uses it as a jumping-off point for a more detailed and fun story. There are some parts I don't enjoy that much (and some that while I liked the writing I can't say I enjoyed, Crosswire does Tomino proud with his despair quotient), but overall it's very entertaining. You should check it out.
