As Ned Salter, we are one of THE best managers in the enterntainment business. Working for the XWF, we see billions get made solely from the keychains and mugs that get made after our super human fighters end beating the daylights out of eachother in the highest rating pay-per-view fights in history.

From the north pole station to the marianna trench probing teams, from the farmlands in smallville USA to the moon base in the tranquility sea, our show reaches everyone with wholly entertaining violence. Now, we are getting started on a new business adventure as we get ready to step into the music business.

Our first step is going to China, where we hope to interview and possibly convince young, extremely gifted Mako Tsun to be one of the vocalists in the all-star musical group we are trying to put together.

The Beijing Daixing International Airport is the busiest, largest airport in Asia. Having been completed in 2020, two years behind the original schedule, it is also rumored to be the only international airport in the world doubling as a mass grave for those responsible for the delays.

It is a massive structure about 20km south of Tiananmen square, covering an area of over 2680 hectares, with public buses and rails leading to and from the city important spots.

For the first time in a long while, noone is expecting you, and you arrive as a regular passenger (albeit in a first class ticket), finding yourself at the northern entrance of the airport with your bags.

According to your assistant's research, miss Tsun lives in Tianjin, a massive metropolis to the southwest of Beijin (albeit both cities are large enough to border against eachother).

Thankfully, you are fluent in the local language, and have no trouble securing a taxi to the train station, then boarding the fast train towards your destination.

*****
Do you want to arrive by surprise, or check into a hotel and then try to arrange a meeting?

Tianjin is a hub of commerce and progress, with over 400 of the Fortune 500 companies having a strong prescence in the city, so China's Intelligence Bureau barely bleeps when one more evonomic mogul shows up in town.

The general feeling is "well, we knew it would happen", and so your very notoriety helps you escape further surveillance, as everyone expects you to try and set up a XWF branch in China.

At the same time, and for the same reasons, plenty of agents decide to follow you, interested in the potential for you meeting with novas who may not be registered with the government already.

>>29364721
>>29364732
Oh, China's government is really really friendly with foreign money.

You stay at the Five Seasons Hotel near the middle of town, a super modern building with every commodity. Room 568 is a penthouse with everything you can possibly need or imagine needing, including a full body holo for business conferences.

Aritsu: "Good evening sir -she appears to be walking down a hallway. From time to time, the very edge of other people appear for a moment as she walks past them- how was your flight?"

Ned: "It was nice enough, Ritsu. Anything I should know about?"

Aritsu: -dressed in the XWF secretarial "uniform" a rather clichéd, ultra modern version of the sexy secretary concept- "The fighters arrived with no problems. Aura went back to her floor and the ratings for the reality show went up right away. Mister Okaba Membele has come back from his training camp, and the videogame community manager sent a message asking for a meeting. Would you want me to arrange for such a thing?"

I'll second this post.

Also I heard there was a secret science Nova group, right? I say we should build up our funds, and start investing into them heavily. We could also try to invest some funds into humanitarian causes, that way if anyone asks, we can just claim we're just a good samaritan, rather than have any kind of personal agenda.

Aritsu: "Yes boss. Do you have a schedule yet?"

You spend the next few minutes discussing with Aritsu about your day. She tells you she will contact miss Mako Tsun or her representatives and call you back, so you have enough time to rest, unpack and the likes.

She -her holo image- stands still as she talks by the end of the conversation, seemingly having arrived to wherever she was going.

Aritsu: "I will call you in an hour?"

Ned: "Alright, thankyou Ritsu"

Aritsu: "No problem, boss"

You enjoy a shower, a change of clothes, and go down to the restaurant to enjoy a meal and purchase five of the local business papers for reading while you wait for your beautiful assistant to call you back.

They're about as secret as 4chan. They are "there". They publish regularly, they accept everyone, they just don't get much mainstream attention because they pretty much don't really care about profit. They are doing SCIENCE for SCIENCE'S sake, exploring the solar system and even beyond.

I think we've actually been doing a bit of infrequent humanitarian cause investment by donating a percentage of the profit off several of our deals to charity. Your assistant calls you 59:59 minutes later.

She is standing in the middle of your office. You can't see anything other than her and her immediate vecinity, even with a real size holo, but you recognize the flooring she's standing barefoot on

Aritsu: "Sir, I secured you a meeting with mister Johan Liebert, miss Tsun's agent, for this evening at 4pm local time. Mister Charles Decarlo, the community manager for the XWF videogame franchise, wants to have a informal meeting at your convenience, and you have six thousand fan mail. Do you want me to reply to them in your name?"
>>

"Yes."
>>
>>29364934
Rather than ordering large meals, we should be constantly snacking throughout the day. It'll draw less attention being seen with random snacks throughout the day, than ordering 3 plates of food for dinner.

>I think he means Daedalus
Yes. I. Did.

Also I kinda want to make secret Ned Salter character, By far the weakest and most fragile of the bunch, he would be a 'normal' human. Rather than fighting with superpowers, he'd use mundane weapons and traps to beat his characters. Basically he'd be 'unofficial hard mode.' Also he could bribe enemies into temporarily joining his side.
>>
>>29364992

Your hyper efficient assistant nods and waits for you to dismiss the call, tho right as the holo is fading away you could swear you saw double for just under a second...

With the address for mister Liebert's office, you enjoy a brief rest before going out to meet him. His office is surprisingly small but orderly. You could barely tell a human being actually lives there.

Johan L: "Ah, mister Salter -he greets you in flawless english- it is a pleasure. Please have a seat and tell me what brings you all the way to my office"

Oh right, so far 7 successes, then

Mister Liebert explains to you that, given miss Tsun's "dangerous potential". she was recruited into the chinese agencies by pretty much every single agency at a time or another before each in turn discovered that both her personality and powers are completely unsuited for combat.

He explains this while you both sip coffee in what must be the worst-placed coffee shop in the world, right in a small island in the middle of traffic in one of the world's most populous and busy metropolis, ever. You can barely hear eachother over the traffic, yet it looks like a extremely popular place for young people.

Johan: "It's a shame, but the chinese government, while trying to show the world how they are turning a new leaf, has been quite methodical about identifying and recruiting any gifted individuals within its borders. Interesting, perhaps, that they eventually left Mako go based on the effect she has on moral.

You can't run a execution squad, slash spy center, where everyone is always in a cheerful, positive and all round happy mood, you know? too much morale is bad, in some business

Johan: "Right now, she is quite happy taking care of the children in Orphanage 988, but I would very much like to see her out in the world"

uh... 8 successes and counting... the hell?

Johan: "Ah, our car is here. I so love the convenience of this little spot"

A small car with no plates stops by the very edge of the café. There is only a lowfence separating the cafe from the street, after all.

Johan: "If you are really determined to add miss Tsun to your project, this is when you leap over the fence and get in the car. I assure you, miss Tsun is worth it"

Do you get in the car and trigger alarms on the surveillance agencies of China, or finish your coffee and go back to your hotel, then to the airport, and Russia?

So 9 successes total in a business roll... if you DO get Mako, it would be a pretty fucking awesome business decition.

4 successes, which is not bad by any stretch. The agent is suspicious, but that's his job. Of course.

He turns out to be a very high rated coronel in the intelligence service. You manage to calm his suspicions by presenting youself as "a greedy westerner" which is what he was hoping for as a best case scenario, and showing how much profit there is for everyone to be made.

Cl. Tzu: "In the end, your plan seems sound. There is only the one thing..."

Ned: "Yes?"

Cl Tzu: "It all depends on if miss Tsun wishes to go with you or not. Regardless of what image of us the world has, China actually cares for and loves all its citizens, and we are not going to "sell into slavery" one of our most beloved daughters."

Ned: "Of course not! perhaps we could meet with her now?"

The coronel excuses himself, and insists that you meet her alone. It has been well over five hours of talking on a small bench on the subway, and you feel like having a snack, using the restroom (chinese public restrooms are surprisingly clean) and walking for a bit before calling a cab.

Johan says he doesn't trusts the coronel, but he does agrees on all of this depending on you managing to peel Mako off her charges. He wishes you good luck and gives you a handshake as you board the cab towards Orphanage 988

Orphanage 899 is a old building in the less beautiful area of town. The progress you saw everywhere else seems to have skipped this area of town completely, yet you see no despair or worry on the people of the area.

In fact, the deeper you go into the area, the more cheerful and lively it seems. Orphanage 899 is the most beautiful horrible building in the world.

Basically a block of concrete with no painting on it and a white sign with its number on the main entrance, it barely has any windows, the windows have no glass, and it sits in the middle of an empty lot with no electricity even as the street lamps begin lightning up as nightfall approaches.

The empty lot is covered in grass and flowers, with a small orchard of young, small trees near the back. The horrible building is covered in colorful crayon drawings, and you can see a line of people waiting in line for what you guess must be a bowl of soup or some other delicious, mouth watering gruel inside the orphanage.

About half a dozen children, wearing huge state-issued shirts as their only clothing, chase a ball made of dirty rags over the grass. A small child stares at you from the moment you step down from the car in your hundred thousand dollars suit. She is standing barefoot on the sidewalk, dressed in a large "899" shirt that covers her down to her ankles, holding a wooden doll with no features. The shirt is spotless and glaring white. She looks well fed, clean, and her hair is cared for in a playful, soft fluffy ponytail behind her.

Everyone looks well fed, optimistic, and calm or, rather, in a blissful mood.

Child: "Mister, are you guv-er-men?"

The way the people in line stare daggers at you sends a shiver down your spine you hadnt feeling even when dealing with worldwide business sharks

Then slowly expand the product line and branch into other areas of need (education, health care, infrastructure, etc.)?
>>
>>29365936
No, knowing Ned, it's probably the first thing that'd be on his mind if someone said something similar.
>>
>>29365727
Well, we had mentioned Ned probably had lots of snacks so I dont see why not.

The child is amazingly well behaved. She thanksyou very politely and goes off to share her treat with her friends.

Walking into the building, you find miss Tsun. At barely 20 years of age, miss Tsun rates a very high 14 on a 1-to-10 "classical beauty" scale. Her figure is heavenly, but it is the way she seems to light up the room (and you could swear you can see a rainbow pouring into the room through a glass of water on the window edge near her), and people just seems to cheer up as they talk to her.

Ned: "Mis Tsun, could I talk with you? My ned is Ned. Ned Salters, and I would like a minute of your time"

Mako: "It is a pleasure to meet you. Could you please wait a little, mister Salter? We are not done with dinner time, yet"

Once everyone is gone, Mako starts talking with you while taking care of the children, together with two more staff members.

As it turns out, she grew up in 899. Her short lived fame was enough to secure her a spot in China's all-time most beloved stars, and she continues to use her reputation to appeal to business figures, usually by scorting them to public events so they can show up with a beautiful girl while showing off how much they care about social causes.

She gets a small amount of money for such things, which she has steadily used to improve conditions on the city's orphanages. Children now have clean beds with fresh sheets, the orphanages have running water and sanitation, and double as community centers for the areas that surround them.

Mako: "I thank you for coming all this way, mister Salter, but I am needed here. Ming Hua's birthday is coming, and I promised to bake her a cake, with strawberries."

...I am seriously considering we just suggest we take all the 899 kids with us when she's on tour and hire enough tutors and staff (including a good nutritionist) to handle it. But China would never let its dirty laundry be aired so publicly so that's a dead end.

We need some way to assure her that she will still be in direct contact with the kids and making a positive influence on their daily lives. And we need a way to clearly demonstrate that we can help her help not only these most desperate children of her city, but of all China and, with a little luck and elbow grease, she might just be able to effect change for the better on a global scale. We aren't going to try bribing her with fame or fortune, but instead with access to the people she needs to convince in order to effect change and with the resources to do so much more on her own. And while that will require her to spend a lot of time away from her beloved children, we are not going to deny her access to them and should be able to negotiate a tour schedule that will bring her back through China relatively frequently, so it won't just be holo phone calls she's sharing with her beloved children.

And that's all I got. Sorry 'bout the lack of dialogue structure.

Your gift is wasted here. Making a few hundred people happy? That's nothing. I have a friend whose greatest skill is punching people faster than the eye can see, and he makes millioms of people happy once a week by doing so. I could give you an audience of BILLIONS to share your message with.

The Government doesn't care so long as the people in power are getting their slice of the pie. And pie there will be, enough pie to feed everyone here. Hell, I could write a cheque right now and keep everyone here in luxury for the rest of their lives. And I'll do that, if that's what it takes to convince you; Call it a signing-on bonus. But you change the world by changing people. Inspiring them. Making them live in better ways. Your voice can do that.

Maybe you want to get on stage and decry your Government in front of half the solar system's population. Maybe you want to take your millions and bankroll a foundation to help orphans like these: One of my guys does that, channels his money into charity. Perhaps you just want to get on stage and sing a song that ends wars. Any of these is do-able. Do any two, or all three, if you want, though I'd recommend against the first, getting on the hitlist of Nova Assassins tends to make getting life insurance difficult.

It takes you three days of constant visits, getting your hands dirty in diapers, helping toddlers brush their teeth, and hunting with a flashlight under their beds for the chinese version of the boogeyman (which apparently is a midget with a couple of scissors, which admittedly makes him quite scary) to convince Mako that you are a genuinely good person, who also just happens to be really good at making money.

At the day of her departure, there is a sea of people to see her board the plane, the likes of which you had not seen yet. And you have seen plenty "seas of people" before.

Grandfathers carrying their grandsons, men and women, business men who wanted to make an appearance, music critics, and of course, the children of the orphanage (all of them now have shoes, tho the little ones don't like them cause they're tight, they say). A sea of people large enough to be seen from space.

Mako: "M-maybe this is not such a good idea..." -the beauty says softly- "What if one of them needs a scrape kissed?" -she squeezes your arm, nervous-

Are you taking Mako to the states with you, or taking her along to meet the next girl? it may be a good idea to have them meet as they are meant to work together.

I can easily see Mako being fine with tagging along, but some of the other girl's have egos that would chafe and resent just "going along"

Next we can see russia's anti stablishment punk rock girl, or india's delicious brown nature goddess.

Let's go with India. I suspect Mako's handlers might take it the wrong way if we immediately went to see the ultimate anti-authoritarian immediately after leaving their authoritarian state. Also, didn't whatshername have a social cause angle? Something for the two to bond over?

You know that sounds like a good idea. Let's talk to Aritsu about tracking her down. But do you want to take Mako along or transfer to another plane and let her go to the US (I imagine Okaba or Eldric would make a good welcoming comitee) on her own?

Ask Mako what she wants to do. I don't hint she can really help our business opportunities, but it wouldn't be a bad thing to expose her to the people that also need help outside of China, and I think Stella could do a decent job of reframing Mako's concerns in a global perspective.

Mako is as delightful a company as you could hope for. She has a innocent, wide-eyed attitude about nearly everything, and her presence seems to calm and cheer everyone up.
In the lower decks, not a single baby cried through the whole China-India flight.

Mako: "I had never seen so many trees!" -she comments as she looks out the window.

Stella's reforestation program has been running for three years now, and thousands of people continue planting a tree every day around the capital. The weather has changed, returning to a set of more natural temperature and humidity conditions, with pollution now being 20% lower than it was 5 years ago despite the lack of any government programs to even pretend they give a fuck about pollution.

Ned: "Let's go to the hotel first, then I'll introduce you to my assistant, and she will arrange a meeting between us and miss Crownguard"

The girl nods. You pull off a little bit of silky soft black hair that had cascaded over her face, causing her to blush and sink a little into her seat.

Ned: "Mako? surely those big business men did more than just brush your hair off when you were scorting them?"

Mako: "Well... sometimes we would dance" -she says softly-

Ned: "Uh hu... now I'm worried about you meeting Aura."

Your hotel penthouse is everything you could need. Mako seems completely lost, standing on the middle of the room, holding her hands behind her as she looks to her left and right.

Ned: "Miss Tsun, please step a little bit to your right... thankyou"

She was standing in the middle of the holo's area of projection.

Aritsu appears standing up in the middle of the room, making the exploitative and sexist XWF secretarial uniform look like the peak of professional wardrobes without losing a iota of its intended effect.

Aritsu: "Boss? how was your flight."

Ned: "It was very enjoyable, thank you Ritsu. Anything urgent?"

Aritsu: "Urgent... nothing. I have a lot of news, but they are all good news, sir."

Ned: "Mako, please come stand next to me so Aritsu can see you. Ritsu, this is miss Tsun. She will be one of our lead voices"

Aritsu: "It is a pleasure to meet you, miss Tsun." -in chinese-

Mako: "O-oh! Nice meeting you!"

Aritsu speaks in chinese for the rest of the conference. She arranges a meeting with Stella for tomorrow at 10 am, in an area of the jungle Stella bought two years ago. Apparently, a forgotten temple was buried in the area, and she had it restored, setting up a community for untouchables around it. They have water, power and security, and are beginning to create a small, lucrative business working with a leather alternative for clothes and accesories.

Ned: "Alright, you can have this floor, and I will take the one straight under it"

Mako: "Who else will stay here?"

Ned: "Noone. It's just you"

Mako: "Why?"

Ned: "It's... it's your floor"

Mako: "What am I meant to do with this whole place?"

Ned: "Whatever you want, of course. Now if you excuse me, I'll see you tomorrow morning, Mako"

Mako: "A-alright... "
>>
>>29367338

Come morning, you find Mako wearing the same (spotlessly clean) long dress, waiting outside your door.

Ned: "Mako, you are early."

Mako: "Good morning"

Ned: "Good morning. Are you ready to go meet miss Crownguard?"

You read up on the history of Untouchables on India. Almost 20 million people on india, roughly one on every six indiant citizens, is considered "untouchable". They use the word "Dalit" to refer to themselves, which comes from the Sanskrit root dal- and means “broken, ground-down, downtrodden, or oppressed.” The Dalit are those who live by dedicating themselves to jobs which the majority of the indian popularion considers "unclean" such as handling waste, meat, working leather, etc. Their very presence is considered unclean and polluting, and while the indian government officially recognizes their human rights and proclaims them regular citizens, in many parts of the country, dalit are the targets of crime with the authorities choosing to do nothing about it. Murder, rape and even worse are rarely investigated when the victim is a dalit.

You rent a limousine (better to get Mako used to her new lifestyle) and instruct the driver to take you to the Abani Goddess Living Community.

The driver takes you to the entrance, but refuses to go in. Upset at the man's intolerance, you help Mako down from the car and instruct him to wait for you to come back. He drives off immediately.
>>
>>29367521
...he's not getting a tip
>>
>>29367551
No he is not. When we next talk to Artisu we are having her hire a professional driver/bodyguard for us and we're just buying a damn car (or renting, whatever) whenever the need arises.
>>
>>29367521

The community is surrounded by three metallic fences, a feet behind eachother. A sign in several languages every dozen feet warns about the middle fence being electrically charged. The fence runs all over the property, and you lose sight of it in the freshly restored jungle on either direction.

The guard is dressed in a light green uniform, and well armed, tho he does not seem to be from the police nor military. He verifies your identity, and then very politely calls for a car to take you in.

Guard: "The Goddess is waiting for you, sir"

Ned: "Thankyou"

Your driver seems like a very polite young woman. The drive is not very long, and you drive through what would be a elite living community anywhere in the world. Beautiful houses and gardens, children running and playing, and neighbors talking to eachother as they go about their daily business right in the middle of the jungle, without affecting it in the least. Even the roads seem to have a natural shape, following the natural curves of the terrain without sacrificing practicality.

Mako: "What are those for?" -she asks as your vehicle rolls by tall, large domes.

Driver: "Research center"

The vehicle stops outside the restored temple. It is an ancient structure, restored to glory. More than a temple, it looks like a college or research facility, as you can see numerous men in suits and lab coats walking in and out of the majestic building.

Driver: "Young mother will come meet you soon" -she says- "Have a nice day" -drives off
>>
>>29367685

Passing-by pedestrians greet you politely. It is a little under 10 minutes until miss Crownguard reaches you.

A natural, athletic beauty with short, soft looking hair, she seems to ooze "health" whenever you look at her. She is dressed in a very revealing, ultra modern swimsuit, walking barefoot, and dripping wet despite the towel on her shoulders.

Stella: "Thankyou for waiting. I honestly forgot you were coming, and was busy helping with the harvest when I go... well, I decided it would be better to come right away instead of making you wait while I changed. Would you like to have a tour of the place while we talk, or would you prefer a more formal place? We just finished a meeting room last week, and I know everyone is just waiting for someone to use it!" -she says just sliiightly too fast, with a bright and contagious smile on her sparkling green eyes

Stella: "Of course, please come with me"

You follow the attractive, caramel-skinned beauty into the temple. The inside is completely modern, with high definition screens and art pieces next to religious sculptures and art pieces, some of which may be historically valuable and a cultural inheritance of humanity, but they succeed at making the quiet china girl going along with us blush into shades of red you had no idea were humanly achievable.

Stella sits crosslegged on the seat at the head of the table and invites you to sit wherever you want.

Stella Crownguard: "Well, thank you for coming all this way. As I was saying, we are right in the middle of harvest so you'll have to excuse my appearance but... ah, you know. Anyway, we are looking forward to this business. We think we can provide easily over two tons of meat and almost half a ton of worked leather. Now, if you look at the scre--"

Ned: "Miss... I think you are mistaking us with some other group. W- I am here to propose you a return into the musical business"

Stella: "Oh... oh! I thought you... I see."

Ned: "Now, I know you have a message you want out, and I am here to convince you that you, yourself, your image, is the best way to get that message out."

>>
>>29368383
Well, with 6 successes thats enough to get along great with her. I assume you get her to tell you about herself and what she wanted to tell you as well, to get her to trust you more, and such.

The indian wild girl seems a little under 18 years old. She tells you she's seventeen when you ask her, and has no memories of her parents. She grew up in the middle of a untouchables colony, and as her abilities became obvious, they all pooled her resources to send her to college.

It took her two years to graduate in bio engineering, theoretical math, musical theory, and law. This was when she was 12.

After achieving notoriety, she revealed her status as untouchable, to great surprise from the indian people. Currently, she is helping to set communities like the one you are in right now,

The "harvest" would be the leather of giant catfish. She caught a massive specimen in the river Kali while simming upstream its lenght for a television ad, and has been breeding them in the community, using them as a source of meat and leather.

Ned: "Wasnt your religion against killing living creatures...?"

Stella: "That's not MY religion. Besides, trust me on this, fish are barely on top of plants in the intelligence meter. And I should know, I can talk to most creatures, but neither plants nor fish.. well except that ONE plant, that ONE time, but never again"
>>
>>29368589
"This would be a great opprotunity spread your message and draw attention to your cause. >>
>>29368636
Ned: "But... breeding animals for the slaughter... how do you reconcile that with preserving the environment?"

Stella: "Why not? these are private breeding grounds, and if we are successful, we can wipe out the need for hunting in the jungle. You like the chairs? it's catfish leather. It's soft, durable, and water resistant" -she switches position, sitting in such a manner that suggests she has never been with a boy yet as she seems completely unaware of it.

Ned: "I... see. Well, about your music. Millions were pending on your words, lyrics, and sound. If you go back into the business, you can advertise your fish meat and leather, get the audience interested in the plight of the people here, or any other social cause you want to"

Stella: "No, thanks. We are working on improving our situation by ourselves, just fine."

Ned: "What about the jungle restoration? not just here, but everywhere. Not just jungle. Forests, even deserts, are in danger"

Stella: "..."

She's receptive to the idea. Maybe you should try a business roll? she may have other projects, but as young and lively as she is, she is modern enough to appreciate a good business deal.

Unless Aleksander magically turns into a girl, I'm going to vote against that. Godly work ethic combined with godly creativity makes him pretty much best songwriter, the fact that he's divine on the bass is just icing on the cake.

>>29368691
Stella's main draws are her godly work ethic and pipeline into the *gigantic* indian market.
Also her freedom thing synergizes well with Mako.

Personally, I'm still leery of Lyann, the fact everyone thinks she's a phony, combined with her high ego pretty much means we've gotta spend a lot of time on her.

>>
>>29369099
Ned got himself started by turning around a drug addict. Really, I think its fitting that he work on turning her around as well.
>>
>>29369234
Yeah, I just don't see those as mutually exclusive. But since self sufficiency seems to be a point of pride for the social angle, I say go with the money and temp her through what she could do with those resources.

My trepidation over pushing the pure business angle is that it's quite apparent that if Stella cared about money for her it's own sake she would be one of the wealthiest Nova's out there by now. Since she isn't I assume her interests and motivations lie elsewhere...but since our empathy is suggesting we go with the money I guess we go with the money.
>>
>>29369332
Bass was also Ned's only client and could afford to spend all his time on one person, this time around, we've got like 12 wrestlers, an entire band, *and* personal projects to oversee.

The reason I'm against her is more of a time constraint issue rather than and personal dislike of her.

That's related to her OCD. And even if it isn't we can fix it with either Aura or by teaching her martial arts.

>>29369678

Well, myself, I think she needs to interact with people who can understand her and won't be freaked out just because she plays a few notes on a guitar. >>
>>29370164
Yeahm but how does that fix the 'too good to be true' and 'fake' vibes that the audience will have seeing her preformance?
>>
>>29370238
Honestly I was thinking that by watering it down with other people in there.
Is not pure perfection if she's in a band. Im not saying the others are bad so they will average out as great. I'm saying everyone has their own style and the end result will be a mix of all of those styles.

>>
>>29369923
Qui Meng martial arts (from New Flesh) can solve her taint issues. Or we can reduce the penalties by dealing with her OCD. Or have Aura offset the damage with her powers. Really, its not a huge drawback.
>>
>>29371131
I'm not saying that we couldn't overcome her problem, I'm saying that she would proably add time to an already full schedule. Still, that Aura drain her skill slightly seems okay too me, and if it works, would remove one of the biggest hurdles to having her onboard.

>>
>>29371541
I was just re-posting what OP said in an earlier thread.
>>
>>29371560
My biggest worry in general, is that we're taking on so many projects that Ned might not actually have enough time to actually do all this. We're managing 12(?) wrestlers, a band, and all that other crap on the side. I kinda want to minimize the amount of time actually spent on the Band, in order to help free up our schedule.

I'm worried we might have to drop something at the rate we're going.
>>
>>29371680
I take your point. On the other hand, She's the most interesting character in the band. So if we're going to spend any time at all on this I want to recruit her
>>
>>29371766
I agree with you about her being the most interesting, but I realised that having a post just to say this is pretty worthless, but on the other hand, if I don't say anything, you might think I'm typing up some kinda argument against her being interesting, or something.

So yeah....
