Scavengers, Trespassers, Adventurers, Lolis, Killers, Explorers, Robbers.

YOU ARE LOLI,

and you're running hard through the wood, desperate to escape him. You're so close now, you can't turn back! You duck under another fallen log, and switching directions to throw him off your trail. As you do so, an arm appears suddenly from the trees, catching you in the midriff and lifting you bodily into the air. You struggle, screaming, trying to break free.
"Calm down, for goodness' sake!", Papa's voice in your ear shuts you up. He doesn't sound worried, angry or even tired like the last times. He sounds... disappointed.

You don't fight him again as he begins his lecture once more, about how you shouldn't worry your mother. He's onto the bit about how it's unsafe outside your village as you come back in sight of the car on the road, and how the military presence is there for a reason as he belts you securely back into the passenger seat.
The lecture doesn't stop for almost a mile down the road, when his attention is finally taken off you by the storm cloud suddenly rearing up over the treeline above you. Electrical discharges crackle their way along the underside of the small cloud, giving it an ominous and unnatural feeling.

The sudden wind that blew the cloud into position over the road ceases entirely, as Papa stares at it with a mix of disbelief and horror. His head snaps round, his glare boring into you. "Don't you do it, Loli. God damn it, don't do dare-"
>>
>>29367526
Whatever he was going to say is cut short by a massive thunderclap, the blinding flash of lightning striking down at the power lines flanking the road. A fiery spark, and the pole ahead collapses heavily into the road, dragging the lines down with it. Papa swerves the car, slamming on the brakes, but the car still has just enough momentum left that clipping the fallen pole sets off the airbags as the car comes to an abrupt halt.
Before they've even had a chance to start deflating, you're already out of the car and sprinting fast into the undergrowth once more, ignoring the pained cries from the car as Papa begs you to come back.

You awake.

Last night your entire squad got killed when you walked them into an ambush, apparently targeting you. Your attempts to capture and question your assailants would've resulted in your own capture, had it not been for the interference of a third party. One whose camp you've just awakened in.

The owners of said camp are nowhere to be seen, however their recent presence is indicated by the open sleeping bag left right next to yours, the small piles of personal belongings scattered around the site, and the smell of breakfast emanating from the cooking pot simmering over the smoldering fireplace. The chill of the morning air on your cheeks makes you grateful for whoever put you in a sleeping bag nearest to the fire.

The smell of food sends a sharp, jabbing pain deep into your belly as it dawns on you that it’s been rather a long time since you last had a real meal. Whatever’s cooking sure does smell inviting. Alternatively, you do have that can of food in your pack.

[ ]Wait patiently until the owners return. This sleeping bag’s warm and you’re not in any danger.
[ ]Prepare the breakfast. It smells almost done, and they’d love to have food waiting for them.
[ ]Go looking for the owners. They can’t have gone far if they've left everything unguarded.
[ ]Grab your stuff and clear out of the camp. They basically kidnapped you!

Being kidnapped is getting pretty damn old, Loli shouldn't even be bothered in the slightest at this point.
>>
>Wait patiently until the owners return.
>Casually ask "So why am I being kidnapped this time?"
>>

As cold as this morning is, and as warm you are now, your hunger gets the better of you. You pull yourself out of the sleeping bag and check out the food over the fire.
There's what seems to be a pan filled with bacon and eggs frying on a pan in the coals of the fire, a set of three beef steaks on a grill, as well as a stew of some sort in a hanging pot. The pot is also accompanied by a small kettle that's almost finished boiling.
You idly wonder how someone managed to find eggs in these parts as you look around, finding some cups and a few tea bags in one of the piles of belongings next to the fire, so you take the initiative and pour out... two cups should be good, right? There's only one other sleeping bag next to yours.

After a few more minutes, the eggs and bacon seem just about done, so you serve those up onto two plates and await your host's return. You don't have to wait long, as you can hear a jovial voice just over the ridge of the defilade the camp has been set up in. Wait, voice? They're talking to someone! There's more than one!

You fall into a slight panic, as you quickly try to set out a third cup of tea and breakfast plate. You're still trying to spread one of your eggs onto the third plate when two figures finally come into view. They're... not what you were expecting.

For a start, both of them are female. Young, too. Not much older than you.
The shorter of the two, the one casually chattering away as she approaches, has a rather distinct head of red hair, standing rather apart from her camouflaged clothes and rather tactical looking vest pouches and various holsters. She's also somewhat well armed, with a rugged-looking rifle in her hands and a pistol at her hip, with the distinct bulges of several grenades about her person.
Her companion is somewhat less equipped, only carrying a longer looking rifle with a scope. She also appears to be wearing a bush.

The redhead finally seems to notice you as she enters the campsite, "aha~! Loli! You're awake at last! Sorry for leaving you to wake up alone like that..."
She pauses, looking a little regretful, a face which is quickly removed when she realizes that you've prepared breakfast.
A girlish squeal has her dropping down next to you and eagerly tugging into the still-hot bacon with her hands.

The taller girl had stopped a few paces away, however, and hasn't stopped glaring at you. Her finger still resting uncomfortably close to her trigger for your liking.

You look between the two, before stating your observations. "I got kidnapped by girls? Well, that's a nice change from the usual smelly brutes."
The tall bush's eyes narrow at you, while the redhead suddenly coughs up her mouthful of bacon.

"Kidnapped? Kidnapped, she says! D'you hear that?" She looks to the bush while gesturing at you, "wearing my pajamas, sleeping in my bed, and eating our food, and she says we kidnap her!" The girl flails her arms about, and you look down to sheepishly realize that you are, in fact, wearing a set of bright pink silk pajamas in place of your blue one-piece.
"Tsch. Maybe we shouldn't have bothered saving you last night, after all!"
Last night...! Did anyone else make it out alive, you ask them desperately.

The redhead falls silent at this, and turns back to chew on her bacon in front of the fire. The bush looks to her for a moment, before meeting your gaze again.
"No," she murmurs in a soft voice. "We don't think so. There was one more, behind you, when the bomb went off. But we couldn't find him."
The bush pulls back the hood of her foliage, to reveal a beautiful length of long blonde hair beneath. She finally takes her finger away from her trigger as she paces closer, a hand on your shoulder, a squeeze, and then she's past you, sat by the fire and producing a set of cutlery for them both to start eating properly with.

"You saved me, huh? Thanks, I guess. But why?"

In response, Red looks grumpily at you before gesturing at your plate of food and the space beside them at the fire. "Why not? You were in trouble and we could help!"

You somehow get the feeling you're not going to get a real answer from her, so you move on. "So... who are you, anyway?"

"Ah!", she squeaks at you, "I'm so sorry, how could we be so rude?!" At this, she stands, tugging on Bush's arm to get her to stand too. Bush shrugs her off, before reluctantly getting up too. "I'm Kristina. Kristina Nikolayevna Alkaev. But you should call me Kris!" Here, she bows deeply to you, almost folding to the horizontal. Her head flicks back up at the bottom of her bow, and she fixes you with a wide grin, before straightening back up. "And this is my bestest friend ever, Vasilisa Dmitrievna Pajari. And you should call her whatever the hell you want!" Vasilisa nods once at you, then sits back down and continues her breakfast.

You stay standing with Kris, pushing your interrogation further. "You saved me then. You want something back now?"

Kris pouts at you for this. "Can't it be possible that we just wanted you to be our friend? Why all the suspicion, Loli? Jeez."

"Because this is the Zone," you point out dryly, "and how d'you know my name, anyway?"

Kris' face freezes for a fraction of a second, before her face returns to its wide grin. "Really? Loli of the Zone, THE Giltinė is asking me how I know of her name? Ha!"

You really can't tell if she's being evasive or simply honest. But somehow, you don't feel like you're going to get any more out of this conversation.

As you're about to give up on the questions, however, the million dollar question pops into your head.

"...Where are my clothes? And why am I not wearing any panties...?"
>>
>>29369595
Hah.
>>
>>29369595
Has Loli been kidnapped by lolicons
>>
>>29369595
At this, Kris' face really does freeze, grin still stretching her features wide. "Eh, well, about that..." she giggles awkwardly, a hand idly scratching the back of her neck. "When I was changing you into pajamas last night, I kinda realized you must've been wearing the same ones for... like, quite a while. It grossed me out, so I washed them. They're over there. I think they're dry by now." You follow her gaze and sure enough, your underwear is with the rest of your stuff on a rock to one side of the camp. You quickly make your way over and slip out of the pink silk and into your own deep blue dress. Seriously, the way it fits you perfectly is slightly disconcerting.

That done, you finally take a moment to sit at the fireplace and start eating breakfast. The other two seem to pick up on just how hungry you are, and don't say another word as you wolf down the meal. It's... good. You can't quite identify why, but the bacon doesn't quite taste like bacon. It's sort of... tougher and fleshier somehow. The eggs just taste like eggs. Once all three of you have finished eating, Kris pipes up again.

"So, uh, Loli. I can call you Loli, right? Or do you prefer Giltinė now? Or something else...?"

"And you should call me 'My Liege'," you point out, indicating your clothing with a smirk.

"Hmmmmm..." Kris looks around the camp idly for a few moments, then looks into the sky, before apparently coming to a decision. "Vasa, fancy a scrap?"

Vasilisa shrugs, looking over. In murmuring monotone, "if you say we're going, then we're going aren't we." The flat delivery makes you wonder if it was supposed to be a question or not.

"Great! It's decided then," Kris beams at you. "Where are we going?"

It takes longer than you'd like to help the girls pack away the camp, but you're also amazed at how a near-permanent looking camp could be folded away and tucked neatly into a pair of rucksacks with little effort, and all that's left as evidence of your passing is a little charred mark on the ground where the fireplace used to be.

When you're ready to go, you let Kris know of the location the meeting was supposed to take place.
"Oh, the gas station? You're in luck! That's real close by!"
Close by...? But you were close when you got attacked last night...

You follow Kris to the top of the ridge, to find yourself overlooking the bridge from last night, as well as the handful of corpses scattered about the area. Some of them already have the signs of having attracted the attention of the local wildlife. To your right, you can see the gas station really is close by, on a raised area not more than a few hundred paces along the road below you.
As you start to move off in that direction, a hand on your shoulder stops you. "Hmmmmmmmmm," Kris ponders again, "who exactly are you meeting with?" Well... you can't answer that, you weren't actually told. Kris keeps a hold of your shoulder for a few more moments, before Vasilisa nudges her from behind. Kris gives a slight nod, and Vasilisa drops back over the ridge behind you. You turn to see what she's doing, only... she's not there. Wait, what?

Kris trots off ahead of you while you're still looking about in confusion.
"Come on then, my liege. I'll leave you behind~!" she calls back over her shoulder. You start at this, and fall in behind her.

The chances are, with all the gunfire last night, and your lateness, the people you're meeting might not even be there. As you move along the road, however, you can see signs of people moving about inside the gas station above you.

There's no guarantee that these people are the ones you're supposed to meet. You whisper as much to Kris, and she only grins. A nudge in the ribs, and she points you to a little gap in the fence that would let you slip in around behind the building, offering you some level of cover from the guys inside.
You scrabble up the slope and through the hole. Poking your head around the corner, you can see that you're actually behind an outbuilding a few yards away from the gas station proper. A few men are loitering about just outside the door.

You pull back as one of the men looks your way, before dropping low and skirting around the building. A quick scuttle gets you around behind the gas station proper with no-one any the wiser to your presence. From here, you can get a good look through the windows at the men inside. And it's pretty much what you feared. There's a nasty bloodstain on the wall opposite you, and a body crumpled on the ground beneath it. Two more men, more newbies as far as you can tell, are cuffed and gagged behind the counter alongside a heavy-looking bag of equipment. The other five men around the site are all wearing long brown dusters, as if it were some form of uniform. A couple of them have masks and balaclavas on, and they're armed with an assortment of shoddy-looking weapons.

Behind you, still waiting outside the fence on the road, you can just see Kris' head. She's looking askance at you.

You wave at her to stay put, and she seems to get the message, hunkering down in cover and readying her rifle to wait for you to get the party started.

Watching the men closely, you notice one of the men is in a blind spot for the rest of the party, just inside the station. Instinctively, you reach for your trusty combat knife. But it's not there.
With a flash of inspiration, however, you take a quick rummage in your backpack and pull out an impromptu weapon fit for the job.
Slipping through the broken window, you slip through the shadows of the room like a ghost, careful to freeze in partial cover any time the men so much as glance sideways. Ever so carefully, you move up directly behind your first victim, arms outstretched and weapon at the ready. It takes a short hop to make the distance from behind, but you're just far enough from the rest of the group that they don't hear the quiet scuffle as you wrap your pink leather belt around the man's neck, jerking back hard and pulling him deeper into the station.
He struggles against you for just a few pitiful heartbeats, before life leaves his body and he flops to the ground. Taking his pistol in your left hand, and your own pistol in your right, you move back into the center of the gas station. Time to give a signal.

"Hi boys!"

You wait for them to respond to the challenge, spinning to the ready facing you before you open fire freely into their faces. It's more fun this way. You spread your fire evenly across the group, not making sure any one target goes down but just putting the hurt down while surprise is your ally. As you keep squeezing off more rounds, your pistol clicks empty a lot faster than you were expecting. You take it in your stride, and roll backwards over the counter into cover between the two panicking rookies just as the bandits finally get their first reaction shot off. You tilt your head, giving a casual smile and a greeting to the two as a single shotgun blast flies wide over the counter, before you hear a whiz from outside, and a thud of body hitting concrete. After a few moments of silence, you pop your head up to see what's going on. All four men are stone dead in the doorway. Huh. That worked out well.

Kris breaks from cover and comes trotting over to you, mumbling something into the radio on her chest. As she finishes and looks up at you beaming, the grassy knoll overlooking the gas station stands up and starts wandering down towards you. Oh, that's where she went.

"Ha! Wow, that really was something, my liege!" She's positively bouncing with excitement at having watched you work. "So, are these the guys we were meant to meet? Or are they inside, or gone or what?" You gesture absently back at the counter, as you look around the dead men. You can't see anything particularly shiny amidst the loot, but you can definitely use some of this stuff to bolster your arsenal until you get some real equipment again.

You head over to the bag behind the counter and check its contents. Bunches of vial-type things, a pack full of bandages, lots of needles. You're not sure, but it's a solid guess this is the stuff you're here for.
Kris finishes un-gagging the rookies, and they confirm that it's the stuff they were meant to trade to you last night, so you sling the pack onto your back over your Hello Kitty pack. They also confirm that they were hit by these bandits at almost exactly the same time you got hit last night. More importantly, this is less than half the party. Well, that's just great.

Vasilisa suddenly ceases her casual appraisal of the dead men's possessions, cocking her head to one side. "Quiet," she half-mutters, half-hisses in a way that completely robs the urgency portrayed by her expression. The room falls dead silent, and then you can hear it too.

Voices. Getting closer.

Within seconds, Vasilisa has tossed a pair of double-barreled shotguns at the newbies, and stripped the shell belts from the dead, throwing those at the counter too. You don't waste time either, grabbing your discarded pistol and shoving it back in place. Ughn. You really need to ask someone about that SOON. You gesture for everyone to stay quiet and follow you as you move to the side exit of the station. It sounds like all the new guys are coming in from the other side, so you should be able to clear the open ground into cover before they realize that you're here.

You very carefully pop the side door open and look out. There's nothing between you and the hillock apart from the crossroad. No problem. You gesture at Vasilisa to go first, and she sprints across the open ground, silent as you like. Within moments, she's set up to cover you After a couple of heartbeats, she gives you the tiniest of nods, and you nudge the first rookie to go. He's somewhat less agile, but he makes the distance and falls into cover safely as well. You nudge the next rookie, but Vasilisa gives a more desperate hand signal.

Behind you, the voices have reached the
"OI, ANTON, FOR FU- CHRIST, what the hell happened here? EVERYONE SPREAD OUT! GET THAT BAG BACK!"

Kris' radio crackles to life on her shoulder, Vasilisa's distorted voice chiming in. "No time. Run."

At this, Kris bolts. She's already half way across the road by the time you've pushed the rookie into moving his slow arse. The last one out, you're desperately harrying the lad across the road. Just before you make to the clear, however, the rookie trips.
His hand jerks as he hits the floor. And his shotgun fires.

Crap.

>Ughn. I intented to go on somewhat further, but I've just noticed the time and tomorrow's gonna suck. This seems like a reasonable enough place to call it until the weekend at least.

>Thanks for the thread, folks. Hope to see you all again soon.
