Peter Parker Quest, Issue #40>Rules: http://pastebin.com/w5G3aG3Y>Character sheet: http://pastebin.com/q1AqTT5h>My twitter: https://twitter.com/QuestOpCosgrove>Archives: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Peter%20Parker%20Quest>Story Arc database: http://pastebin.com/fR0Z1SNKYou look at the people surrounding you and give a guilty grin. “Well, I hate to interrupt, but it is Thanksgiving, this might not be the best time to talk about this, Norman.”Norman Osborn pauses for a moment, then awkwardly clears his throat, seemingly embarrassed. “Ah. Right you are. My apologies. If you ever would like to talk further, you may always stop by Oscorp- I’m sure I’ll be able to spare time to talk with someone as bright as you.”However, you’ve spent a decent amount talking and dinner’s just about wound up. Eddie, Harry and Norman are the first to leave- Norman and Harry for time concerns, and Eddie’s feeling a bit unwell. However, it seems like the Stacy family and the Watson family are likely to stay over for a little while longer- the Watsons only live next door, after all, and Captain Stacy wants to catch up with your uncle.>[ ]Sit around upstairs and talk>[ ]Head to basement for delicious science>[ ]Talk to someone- (writein)>[ ]Write in

You sit on the couch next to Felicia and Stella and talk- Uncle Ben and Captain Stacy are sitting around, talking about old hijacks they used to get up to all the time, their faces both a bit flushed. Meanwhile, your aunt and Anna Watson are dealing with the leftovers, dividing them up between the two households. There’s going to be thanksgiving leftovers to feast upon.Nearby, Gwen’s trying to strike up, and failing, conversations with Mary Jane. To your side, Stella looks like she’s about to enter a food coma, with a satisfied smile on her face. On your other side, Felicia’s looking around and at you with a smile that seems somehow melancholic. >[ ]Ask Captain Stacy about something (write in)>[ ]Talk with Felicia (about what?)>[ ]Talk with Mary Jane (about what?)>[ ]Talk with Gwen>[ ]Head downstairs>[ ]Write in

You look over at Felicia, looking slightly concerned as you lower your voice. “Something on your mind?”Felicia looks over at you as you see any signs of sadness on her face vanish as she shakes her head. “Hmm? No, nothing. Just thinking. Thanks for asking though. I’ll see if your aunt needs any help.”She stands up and heads towards the kitchen as you watch her go. You feel Stella’s head slump against your shoulder as you look over at Captain Stacy.“Excuse me, Mister Stacy, but-”He raises an eyebrow. “Please, Peter. You call Norman Osborn by name and he’s someone you’re less acquainted with than I am. Call me George. Now, what’s up?”Slightly, embarrsed, you chuckle nervously. “Well, I was curious what’s the current news on that Sandman crime wave, if you don’t mind?”Some of his cheer drops as he lets out a sigh. “Alright, but this doesn’t leave this room. The guy’s not hurt anyone and he’s only taken money, without being caught. We’d have thought it was the Black Cat, but the lack of calling cards and theatrics, and the presence of sand seems to indicate someone else, perhaps someone inspired?”He shakes his head. “Regardless, we don’t know who he is, which is only making things worse. If we hadn’t gotten that Goblin, I’d hate to se how badly those suits-”He clears his throat. “Never mind that. You glance at the others in the room, who shrug. “The porch?”It’s as good of an idea as any other, so you find yourself with Mary Jane and Gwen on the porch, in the chilly night air. You all put on your coats, but there’s an awkward silence as you sit there with the two fo them. Mary Jane looks like she wants to hide insdie her coat like a turtle, while Gwen seems more than slightly uncomfortable. Wonder what shenanigans Cosgrove will have us get into that requires us to be out Spider-Manning during Christmas eve.

“Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-”You try to think of something to say to avoid that horrible awkward silence. “How did you two enjoy having a Parker Thanksgiving?”Mary Jane glances at you, then her arm, when away, shrugging. “….slright.”Gwen notices but doesn’t say anything. “It wasn’t bad. Talking with Norman Osborn was a bit awkward, but the worst part was how Harry seems to be occasionally growing more and more irate as the night passed. I thought he was a nice enough guy, but I guess you can’t go by impressions.”You grimace slightly as Gwen lets out a groan. “Sorry, Peter.”You shake your head. “No, there’s nothing anyone here needs to apologize for. Harry’s turned into a total jerk. So, I’d probably advise against that offer you got, Gwen. >>29567698And we don't just just fall at his feet begging for his forgiveness like you seem to want. He was a total cunt, plain and simple. If he comes around and apologises, so be it. Until then ignore him.
>>29567564I think it was originally more about minimizing Gwen's exposure to Harry's dad because he killed our parents (Yes, yes, Harry's blameless on that) and would happily dissect Gwen to figure out how to replicate Spiderpowers. However, since Harry's become a total jerk over the last month I'd say we'd probably discourage her hanging out with him because it's unlikely that she'd enjoy it. That's being a good friend to Gwen.
>>29567804Where did I say we should go crawling to his feet begging for mercy, point it out for me.I said stick up for him because he's our friend, not go bawl out eyes out on the dirt in front of him.>>29567808We don't have to encourage her to hang out with him, but standing up for friends seems like the kind of thing Peter does. I'm not saying we try to get them to hang out, but we don't need to let people insult our friends.
>>29567698One that realized that what Harry needs right now is some space to deal with his demons. Us butting in and trying to be supportive is only going to distract and anger him and will probably prolong this weird phase he's going through.
>>29567861I didn't fucking say to butt in, I said to stand up for him. Not to walk in and start kissing his ass. You know there's a noticeable difference between the two
>>29567856>Standing up for friends seems like the kind of thing Peter does. While this is mostly true I don't think Peter would stand up for a friend when they're in the wrong. Harry's not in a good way right now, true, but that doesn't really excuse his behavior.
>>29567856Yeah, sure. Cause it's not like Peter isn't pissed either and would rather not touch on the topic of Harry at that moment. But no, he needs to defend his friend who was a total dick just recently.>>29567907Exactly this.
>>29567931Exactly. Getting past Harry being an asshole is in character and a decent thing to do. Doing that in a couple hours is reaching.
>>29567904You do realize that in this scenario Pete was just using Harry's outburst and attitude to cover for the underlying danger that is Norman? Gwen caught that by the way.
Awful quiet tonight.
>>29568273Is it? There's always a lull when Cosgrove has declared that he's writing and we don't have anything further to say at the moment.

>>29568273Waiting for Cos to drop a shoe on us.
There’s a part of you that wants to defend your friend, but you stomp it down, considering what we said about the people that you’re with right now.You look over at Mary Jane. "I don't think I ever asked, but what kinds of things do you do with Stella when she's over at your house? What sort of things does she like?”Mary Jane blinks at you, staring curiously as you see her eyes become less guarded and a small smile crosses her lips. “We play a lot of things that are co-operative, such as party games or fighting games, or the old team sidescrollers. We also watch some anime here and there, too.”Hey voice is still the scratchy voice, but she doesn’t seem to have the hesitancy to talk about her spending time with Stella. You nod and smile. “I appreciate you spending time with Stella, she seems to really enjoy it.”Mary Jane embarrassedly nods and smiles, a pleased look on her face. Your brotherly concerns out of the way, you spend some time discussing science-y stuff with Gwen. Gwen seems rather impressed with how you’ve branched out your learning as she corrects you on a few mistakes you make concerning biology. Time passes as Mary Jane, occasionally buts in to ask about something that sounds familiar to her as the two of you explain it to her as best as you can, but eventually the cold seems to start to bother you three as it gets later into the night.>write in?

>>29568493I say we do that with Felicia and Gwen.I really want to get to the bottom of why Felicia was looking so down though. Part of me says that if it's really bothering her, she'll talk about it when she's ready, but experience tells me otherwise.
>>29568389Propose foursome with Felicia.
>>29568389Hot damn, we're slowly breaking through MJ's shell.>>29568423I'd say just timeskip with a brief rundown of what occurs.
>>29568469>Any good?Well I clearly think so since I name dropped it, but you should probably ask /co/ or just pick up the first issue (pretty sure Image still has a buy back program for those if you're unsatisfied). Still, neither here nor there at this point.
>>29568493>>29568566They both showed interest, along with Stella, about going to Black Friday stuff tomorrow. It would also be a good opportunity to take Gwen to Latvarian Embassy.
>>29568600I'd say Stella is doing a better job of it than we are.Rule-63 Kid Loki's got game.
>>29568652Yeah, we can introduce her to Sue Storm before she examines her for complications from the spider bite like she did for us.
>>29568659Oh god. I just thought of something. What kind of weird hijinks is Stella going to get up to when she gets older. We don't need any more multi-legged or world-killing beasts around.
>>29568469This, and offer to walk her home, if she's walking.
>>29568720Depends on how we raise her. I think we've done a fine job of not fucking up. Yet.
>>29568720Well, she probably will want to be come a costumed crime-fighter like her brother. Great power great responsibility and all that. Besides, personality-wise Stella doesn't seem the type that gives it up as much as 616 Loki. (We could be dealing with MCU Loki (like we are Stark) and he has no kids as far as we know.)
>>29568616I read a few Image comics. Invincible, Manifest Destiny, Walking Dead. I tend to like Marvel stuff better, but I do like the sheer variety Image has and wish Marvel would spread out from capes a bit more.
So was Felicia kind of gloomy because she remembered how she used to spend Thanksgiving with her family, but now can't because her parents are DEEEAAAAAAD
>>29568787Yeah, I've never read any Marvel comics really. I'm going off mythology Loki here.
>>29568787Loki has a few kids.......Most of them are animals, but he has kids...
>>29568787>and he has no kids as far as we know....you realize they pulled an X-23 to make Stella, right? So not so muck kid as highly modified clone.
>>29568823That's what I'm thinking.
>>29568787Possibly>>29568389Let's head in and possibly watch stuff on you tube , possibly Iron Man
>>29568823We don't know about her real Mom.>>29568844>>29568853I did mention 616 Loki's numerous off-spring. MCU Loki does not have that indication. And yes, I do realize they pulled an X-23....And now I'm picturing Stella and Laura being gal pals.
>>29568823You know who else's parents are dead?Batman. And Spiderman.
>>29568866If you say possibly one more time.
>>29568882>Laura's all moody and angsty>Stella is incredibly bored by this and makes an illusion to sit there and listen while she heads out for a malt
>>29568932Yeah, we'd need a Captain America like team leader to hold them together and play the straight woman. So much Stella Snark and Dry Laura Wit would result.
>>29568882>>29568932>>29568994Nah. Ultimate Jessica Drew would be Team Leader....Still bummed we didn't stop to investigate that future dude.

>>29569085Now he'll never not be allowed to be hardcore and edgy.
>>29569138He and Ultimate Reed (Somehow without his weird deformed head) got teleported to 616 where they will most likely be forgotten or killed in the next decade.

The three of you head inside as you go looking for Felicia- heading into the Kitchen, you see Aunt May and Anna Watson sitting at the small table talking. “Hey, Aunt May? Where’s Felicia?”Your Aunt pauses, her eyebrows furrowed. “She received a call from her father before heading out a while ago. I thought you knew.”You grimace and shrug. “She might not have wanted to bother Stella, who was falling asleep.”Aunt May nods her head slightly as you head out of the kitchen. >>29571669Why wouldn't they just destroy the harddrive then?
Well... Depending on how you read the letters we were given, it's ambiguous about whether the information in the hard drive was meant to be used by us or not. In Richard Parker's note it says that it was all the information he'd managed to get from Norman Osborn, and in Mary's note it says that if we're in trouble we need to go to Nick Fury. It's entirely possible it was just left to us to give to Nick Fury if we were in trouble.
>>29571639>Success!You root through the videos looking for the one that was the first recorded message. As you do so, your growing aptitude at computers makes you notice something. Partially, this seems to be a safety function, but there’s… something off about this hard drive as you root through its files. It’s almost like somebody messed with it. However, you take your time as you find the first file on the hard drive. Opening it, you get an error filled video- it skips and cuts and refuses to play after the first half.“My name is Ri- -er. >>29571834Then why give it back at all?
>>29571811Yep. It wouldn't be out of place for there to be another file in the drive that has the exact same inflection of "Norman Osborn", It's easier to doctor an audio file by splicing in new clips from the original speaker than to try to duplicate the voice in a computer.
>>29571834If Norman had ever had access to the hard drive do you honestly think it would ever have fallen into our hands?
>>29571763Lets take a look at the first letters in the opening between each "break":MNIRPILTVDTODLBUAICSHTMIWWAWAFYTLWHTMPILITSAEIENFMWNOThis means nothing as is, but if we break it down into their numerical correlation; it still means nothing.Because someone edited the video. Poorly.
Okay, so this has been bugging me for a while... Why did Richard Parker have a blueprint of the Arc Reactor if he was investigating Norman Osborn? Norman doesn't know how to build an Arc Reactor, so where did Richard get the blueprint? So what if Osborn is being framed? And there is another scientist or tech firm who would have reason to eliminate Osborn (perhaps because he was competition in a similar field like weapons design)? One who had access to arc reactor blueprints?
>>29571880Arc reactors aren't anything new. Starks tiny one is revolutionary thoguhI think

Cosgrove, the anons are getting paranoid again. You have to distract them before they do something incredibly stupid... again.

If Richard was working for SHIELD, there's a good chance he may have been given blueprints for the reactor to construct one for them.

>>29571925Amazing what a SINGLE intentional dot can do to make everyone start drumming up wild conspiracy theories. That being said, we should get to the bottom of this. But now all we can be sure of is that someone fucked with this harddrive. And now we're not even entirely sure if Norman's the culprit anymore. That's literally all. Calm down, friends.
>>29571800>>29571802>>29571811What if Norman Osborn added the pause to make it seem like he was innocentWhat if somebody added the pause to make it seem like Norman added to the pause to make it seem like he was innocent.I AM SHADOWRUNNING AT FULL TILT HERE

Huh. Guess it's a good thing that we never called Fury. After all, what's the best way to keep tabs on a potential future problem? Leave a phone number for that problem to call if it ever develops.

>>29572379Shit, we should have pre-burned a Spectacular Point to get the higher dc...
>>29572454You mean a 20 and an SP.
>>29572399Shit.Unless we use both SP points for the start and then after the roll.
>>29572456I still don't get how pre-burning works when we can roll at any time.
>>29572390Spidey seems pretty shocked by his reflection.

>>29572440Yes.>>29572443I thought we just mentioned that we didn't trust the corp and brought up the Smythe thing.>>29572462No a 20 would be an epic success. It is really the only option you have in beating dcs higher than you can usually make.
>>29572462WRONG.20+8+4=32you need 13(or more)+8+8+4 to pass the roll.we needed to use SP before the roll.BUT SOME FUCKERS HAD TO ROLL EVEN WITH THE 33 DC HUH?
>>29572503Why didn't you type "use spectacular point" the second you saw the challenge? That's how it works right?
>>29572537No, because the moment I saw the update, there were already rolls.
>>29572503We only have 1 SP right now and I'd like to save it. Honestly, we can keep looking through the hard-drive over the next few months. After watching everything we may have a lower dc next time, or we take the expert programming perk.
>>29572503How the fuck were we supposed to know the DC would be so high? Besides, we're better off using SP for fixing failed rolls.
>>29572558Or, you know, saving our ass from dying.
>>29572558>How the fuck were we supposed to know the DC would be so high?Well, the idea is that you would read the post with the DC in it before rolling.
>>29572558You know, by not rolling immediately when cosgrove asks for one so that there can be some discussion.
We'll just have to crank up Programming the next time we get to spend point.
>>29572627Yes. But we can't forget to snatch a combat perk or two. We're lacking in those.

>>29572654We didn't have any combat perks available the last time, but true.
>>29572627Know what I just realized? Decrypting the hard drive isn't the end of that arc, so we aren't getting any XP for that yet.
>>29572669Probably a misleading, false success at 25. (I wish it meant DC 1.32.)
>>29572669Under 25 and something bad happens, over 33 and someone good happens. We landed in the neutral range.
><Tohsaka> cosgrove, what is 33/25?><Cosgrove> the higher DC gives you something better

>>29572780Well, unless the harddrive is somehow time-bound to glitch out...
>>29572829Unless it has an internal power source, that's impossible.
>this is going to be a long update, so please be patient
>>29572874Be honest, you didn't expect us to make that did you
>>29572849Every PC has an internal battery responsible for keeping the system clock awake, it's not unconcieveable that a scientist working for the in-universe superNSA on steroids built one into the hard drive.Unrelated note - we've been really lucky decrypting the drive, but I feel it's a one time stretch and we shouldn't mess too much with it until Programmer Perk is unlocked.
>>29572874It's always worth the wait. This quest is best quest.
>>29572887We make it but with a SP used.We manage to pass though thanks to luck with no SP use.
>>29572351Literally the only way to pass this DC would be to pre-use the SP(+8), get the modifier from being smart(+8) and then roll 17 or higher. We could have gambled. No guts no glory.
>>29572889This harddrive was made when Peter was like, 7 years old. That means he was using 2003 technology. What you're saying sounds very improbable, even by Marvel U standards.
>>29572924But if we had used SP...
>>29572931We need to pre-SP when we know we're about to attempt an action that could very well get us or somebody we love killed if we fail this single action.Any other instance seems either overly cautious or a waste if we cock up our rolls.
>>29572931>Literally the only way to pass this DC would be to pre-use the SPIt's not literally the only way. Rolling a 20 would have made it a success, regardless of the DC.
We should proabbly get rid of our Parker Luck before anything else.
>>29572981huh, no.If the DC is extremely high, a natural 20 isn't going to cut it. 33 is fucking high as balls.
>>29572981Actually, I'm pretty sure 20s only cover us up to DC 30. Might be wrong, but I know Cos put a limit on them.
>>29573002Edit: If a DC is fifteen points or higher than the maximum that can be obtained with a twenty plus modifiers, then it is NOT an automatic success. This is the only exception. Some things aren't always possible to do, especially on the first attempt.
>>29572996Would it be possible to do reverse SP spending? I mean like add a negative modifier to a roll to reduce?
>>29573002the +8 would take care of that.
>>29572999Again a flat nat 20 is an auto-success. It is the 'I win' roll.
>>29573015Alright, so it'd have to be a DC of 43 for that to be impossible to do.

>>29573161It's probably higher if we're trying that without mechanical assistance. I mean, we know literally nothing about magic.
>lower DC metYou manage to find one partially deleted file and open it, but all you get is half a second of your father holding some sort of weapon over his head and swinging it down at something that might be gray before cutting of in static. The next closest video would be that of your father Richard parker sitting on a stool staring at a camera. It’s doctored, too, most likely, considering that the time and date are gone, but he seems to have seen better days- he’s unshaved and his white button-up shirt is undone, revealing a stained undershirt. He also looks like he hasn’t been sleeping well. “The first recorded mention of cancer came around 1600B.C. Egypt. A lot of people don’t know that. They think cancer came along with cigarettes and food preservatives. They think we brought cancer on ourselves as a plague… a plague of modern society.”>1/?

>>29573356He shakes his head, rubbing at his eyes. “But it’s always been there since men first figured out to poke and prod itself- it’s been there. Then you skip ahead to Greece and Rome; sure the great doctors Hippocrates and Galen lifted their ideas of medicine from magic and superstitious gobbity goo.“But Hippocrates named it.“’Cancer’ as ‘karkinoma’ because to him a tumor looked like a ‘crab,’ karkinoma being the greek word for crab or so the textbooks tell me.“Karkinoma.”Your father shrug, almost amused. “And slowly but surely we got a better understanding of human anatomy. Then better technology- better microscopes, then comes a better understanding of cell culture, chemical carcinogens, diagnostic techniques, chemotherapy… and boom! Oncology is science. And when I was a kid, you go cancer, you… you died. Now? Now you have a fighting chance.”You father snorts, looking angry and defeated and miserable. “But for me, it’s not good enough. It is not a battle won. I want cancer /gone/. When I was a kid, I watched my bull of a father wither away in front of my eyes and I had no idea why. Now all I want to do before I die- is to make sure no other kid has to see what I saw. I never want to watch another boy watch his father die and not understand why.”There’s moments as your father ours himself a drink as you reflect at situation- you’re not sure if you want to laugh or cry. So- you do both. Eventually, he composes himself enough to continue. “With our invention- the suit- we were treading ground no one had come /near/ before. Not the Starks. Not Reed Richard. Not Erskine. Not ------“And it blew up in our face. Even before all of these… problems that drowned us. It failed.“/I/ failed.Your father shrugs as he downs the glass as he looks at the camera.>2/?

>>29573398“’The suit’ was our shot, kiddo. We thought we cured it. On paper- it was there. We were thinking so outside the box, Carl and I. And it felt good. It didn’t feel like we were failing, it felt right. And I think by the time you watch this video, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about when I say it felt right. Sometimes, even when you’re in the act of trying something, you know deep down you’re going to fail.“But you go ahead anyway. He shrugs again. “but this wasn’t that. This felt right. I don’t know- talk to me in ten years- ---- maybe something good has come out of it and I’ll have a different perspective.I’ll be sitting here watchnig this tape with you and I’ll be laughing it up like no one’s business. But right now, today, it stings.“Today, I am sure that somewhere up in Greco/Roman heaven, the great doctors Hippocrates and Gaien are looking down at me and laughing their superstitious faces off.”You father laughs, bitterly and sarcastically before he goes and throws away the alcohol. He sit there and sobs for a while. It’s painful to see this man, your father, break down like this. Eventually he wipes his eyes and takes a deep breath, staring at the camera.“Oh, Peter… I have all these things in my head, things I want to say... Things I think as your father you’ll need to hear. You’re going to find that there are a lot of people in this world, people who you are going to look at and say; ‘why is this person like this? Why did this person do that to themselves?’”He shakes his head. “and I swear to you, if you stare at them for fifty years, you’ll never understand why they are the way they are. I have people like that in my life, people who are their own worst enemy. And instead of dealing with it, coming to terms with it, all they do is lash out at /you./ “/blame/ you for their own problems, for their own.. Whatevers. Don’t let them, Peter. >3/4
>>29573384that's clearly Speedwagon.
>>29573413Don’t let other people blame you for what they do to themselves. I feel as your father that I have to warn you of the chaotic mess you are growing into. And it is, it’s a mess. People everywhere reacting without thinking. Lashing out. They don’t even know why.“Everyone trying to be more than they are, which would be fine if they actually /earned/ it, but more and more it isn’t the case. And that’s why drives me nuts. I find myself /surrounded/ by people who will /do/ or /say/ anything for the appearance that they are better than they are. More than they are. Never for a second do they actually /try/ to be better. They just want to /appear/ better. They want to be special without going through the trouble of actually earning it.”Richard Parker leans in, hands folded. “And if you have millions of people running around like this, well, then what do you have? What kind of world is that? I just see the future. I see greed swallowing medical advancements. I see the grandstanding and I just... Augh! Oh, listen to me go on about how the world works.”He leans back, a defeated smile on his face. “If I knew how the world worked I’d be in my lab with a cure for cancer instead of sitting here whining in front of a video camera. I would have my project. I would have----. I can’t help it. It’s been a rough year, Peter. Tomorrow, I’m going to talk things out with Norman one last time and sort things out once and for all.”>4/5
>>29573413>Who is Harry
>>29573433Your father smiles at the camera. “But I tell you, no matter how crappy things got with this whole mess, I found myself not really /caring/ all that much. Because, at the end of the day, bottom line, no matter how bad my day is? I get to come home and see you. I get to watch you grow up. So, how bad can my day be?“Just knowing I get to watch you become the man I know you will grow up to be. All this other stuff, it doesn’t matter. All that matters to me is you, Peter. >>29574019I can assure you of one thing. He was not a mutant.Nor was he bitten by a bat.
>>29574060that's two thi- wait doe's that mean one of them is wrong?!
Hey Cosgrove. I recently went through the archive and went on a Parker Quest binge. You do quality stuff, and I've enjoyed reading the twists you've done on the Marvel universe. Keep up the good work man.
>>29574086It means both are wrong. But just because he's not a mutant doesn't mean he doesn't have powers.
>>29574099cosgrove:>"i will tell you one thing">tells you two things.understand now?
>>29574130Both are legit, but that's also not in character knowledge.
>>29574130Even if your logic made sense, "being bitten by a radioactive bat" is obviously wrong.
>>29574149When do you think you'll run the next quest?
>>29574090Personally I can't wait when we (or shield) form first official superhero of this century>>29574149btw, do the classic ww2 Human Torch 'exist' in legends along side the Captain America?
>>29574149does peter know any mutants?
>>29574223Not that there's anything wrong with that...
>>29574238Everyone needs a mugga afterall.
>>29574249She's not a mutant.>>29574173Not sure.
>>29574270but she mutated
>>29574223Not yet BUT im pretty sure once they show up Peter will hear a lot about them
>>29574276Stop being pedantic.
>>29574276Mutant, in terms of Marvel, means one with the 'X' gene, which she does not possess.
>>29574276She doesn't have the X-gene though.
>>29574270>>29574292This is bit too meta-knowledge BUT are vampires a thing in this universe?
>>29574292Do we know if DOOM will be visiting New York anytime soon? Surely the Storms would have told us if we asked at any time during the timeskip.
>>29574395 I guess Peter needs to be even more concern about keeping his body fluids away from yet another possible enemy
>>29574395Cosgrove. I know Sue already gave us a clean bill of health for radiation (there being none), but...Is Peter's semen safe for [fade to black] moments?
>>29574474Of course. That would be stupid.SoFUCKINGSTUPID.
>>29574464what if Peter is this universe JoJo and Norman/Harry is/will be this universe Dio? shit just got magical OR maybe it was just tune up up to 10
>>29574533I know, right? I mean,ONLY A COMPLETE DUMBASS WOULD THINK THAT'S GOOD WRITINGGOOD THING THEY NEVER DID A STORY WHERE THAT HAPPENEDGOOD THING
>>29574534Sir, I would like to subscribe to your newsletter because that is an interesting take on all this wonderful.
>>29574550...please tell me marvel didnt actually do something like that.
>>29574582The Last Spider-Man. A story set 30 years in the future. MJ dies of cancer because of the lingering effects of his radioactive spider semen.Yes.
>>29574613Spider-man: Reign, Actually
>>29574624Oh.Thank you.It will never go away.
>>29574624Thanks for continuing the quest.Question, how accuracy it the image to the costume Gwen made, and did she decide on her hero-name? (Spider-woman, Lady-arachnid, or maybe something completely else?)
>>29574624Can we get a ballpark on what level of strength would be required to tear off our Strong Webbing advancement using a single standard action?1-101 being Hobgoblin. 10 being Hulk.
