>Rules: http://pastebin.com/XfJFjs52

“OK, so what the hell happened?” You ask as you, Daiki, Captain Sirius, Lhuga, and Koketsu sit on the bridge, most of your nursing headaches and MASSIVE hangovers with ice bags to your heads.

“We got drunk” Captain Sirius says with a chuckle.

“I’m pretty sure Jake is asking about happened AFTER we got drunk.” Daiki states as he messages his temples.

“Oh. Well you better explain that to him then.”

“To put it simply you horrifically damaged the Grand Wing’s Control system while making pancakes and then proceeded to activate the Grand Wing System, entering in random coordinates and settings before the control system stopped functioning. The Grand Wing System is running, but we have no control over it and due to the nature of its design there’s no real manual override.” Daiki explains before letting out a sullen sigh.

“The only consolation we got from this was the fact we’re not traveling through time, but through space, we’re going to other dimensions.”

“That’s not so bad.” You say, reminding yourself never to get drunk and cook ever again. “Couldn’t we just shut down the Grand Wing System or disconnect it from the ships power supply to stop us from jumping?”

“Disconnecting the power would probably put the Grand Wing System into an idle mode where it would switch over to an internal battery backup, but with the way it is at the moment I don’t know it if it would stop jumping us. If it drains the battery and shuts down completely I don’t know if we could ever get home again…”

(Continued)
>>
>>29606636
“See the Grand Wing System has a separate, black boxed drive that has our point of origin coordinates stored on it. Time, Space, doesn’t matter, as long as we have the coordinates we can get home. If the Grand Wing System loses power the drive will wipe itself clean. To make matters worse we can’t access it until I repair the control system, and any other attempt to access or manually rip it out will definitely wipe the drive.”

“Can you repair the control system while the Grand Wing System is running?” Captain Sirius asks.

“Absolutely, it’ll just take some time. The fire damage was pretty extensive and the extinguisher system caused quite a few shorts.” Daiki explains. “I can’t tell how often we’re going to jump just yet, so I suggest we don’t leave the ship, or at the very least stray too far from it.”

“Ma-G? Any idea where we are now?” You ask.

“Unknown. Foreign particle interference is limiting my information gathering abilities at this time. However I have identified at least seven clusters of space colonies and long rang observations suggest we are in a universe with a tech level comparable to our own or somewhere close” Ma G explains.

“Well I’m just glad we didn’t show up in the middle of another battle, with my head pounding the way it was and the Crusader bashed up, defending the ship would have been pretty hard.”

“I agree. Let’s try to stay out of trouble for the time being, OK? I’m going to start looking over the Grand Wing System. Maybe you could try to find out more about where we are?” Daiki leaves followed by Sirius, Lhuga, and Koketsu.

You sit on the bridge staring out into the blackness of space, thinking on what to do next…

Go run some repairs on the Crusader. At least get a new arm put on. Keep a TV scan on in the background while we work, maybe it'll pick something up.
>>
>>29606929
Do we have the necessary parts needed for the repairs? We probably should have the rest of the crew get us a list of things that need to be fixed, so that while Daiki's fixing the Grand Wing, we can focus on repairing those.
>>
>>29606929
You already repaired the Crusader. You were drunk when you did it, but Ma G checked it over and everything checked out.

>>29606728
>>29606739
You sit down and begin searching for TV/Radio Transmissions all the while chatting with Ma G about whatever you can think about. It's been a while since you've just sat down and talked with Ma G. Your relationship with her is an odd one. You can't really explain it.

She's helped you since you were a kid, she's watched over your own children, and helped you with your work even into adult hood. At the same time you've saved her life, protect her, and are constantly working to ensure she doesn't die due to growing too complex for the Quantum Computer she's in.

You know you love her, it's just, you don't know in what way. It's not really something you've ever been able to talk to anyone about, especially Mellis.

Your train of thoughts wanders as you ponder the nature of your relationship with Ma G all while trying to pick something, anything up.

You have some parts lying around, Daiki doesn't like to throw anything away so he's kept a lot of spare parts for the Crusader and such. Still, seeing what you don't have might be a good idea...
>>
Hey Crosswire, is there a way I can contact you about quest stuff?
>>
>>29607074
Well, we could probably find some nearby junk yard or stuff we can salvage through (if we're in the Gundam X timeline, even easier).
If nothing else, we could try to get into one of those colonies, though getting the parts needed out will be a problem.
>>
>>29607265
If we're in UC, depending on where we are in the timeline, we can just grab shit from those massive battle wreckage fields that sit in orbit.
If we're in X, we can probably do the same. Same with Seed.

Our biggest problem will be if we're in G or Wing, since Wing Shit is kind of subpar aside from the truely high end suits, and G shit is all down on earth unless we're post Devil Gundam. Then we might be able to scoop up some wreckage from that fight.
>>
>>29607345
It's probably not Seed. Unless we're in an alternate universe where Kira actually died from the Aegis self-destructing (and if so, why would you deny us the chance to slap him, Crosswire?) and as a result he wasn't there to stop the nuclear launches, resulting in entire PLANT clusters getting taken out in the finale. There aren't enough inhabited regions, otherwise.

After sorting through the heavy interference. You and Ma G manage to pick up a television transmission, it appears to be some kind of news channel, probably from Earth. Some well dressed man rambles on about football before switching over to a female news caster.

>"Today eight years ago today the Titans protected the Earth from an attack that could have claimed millions of lives by stopping the firing of a colony laser aimed at the Earth. In the process they eliminated the Anti-Earth Union Group terrorist organization and scattering the Zeon Remnants assisting them. A ceremony is going to be held at the Gryps Memorial to cherish the memories of the brave Titan Taskforce members who gave their lives to protect the planet from Spacenoid dissidents."

>"In other news the Zeon remnants calling themselves the 'Sleeves', the ones who attacked the Industrial Seven Colony three months ago, have struck again at Side 6. Details are still to be released by Titan officials, but most have confirmed the Sleeves inflicted a tremendous amount of collateral damage on the civilian population, destroying a number of businesses and factories in the process. More details after these messages."

An odd advert for a company called "Anaheim Electronics" pops up, but the signal begins to sour before you lose the picture completely to static.

"It appears this dimension has quite a lot conflict if my analysis of that broadcast is correct" Ma G states.

"Yeah. There was something about that news channel that seemed...off to me. I don't think we can really trust what we see on TV..."

Your mind begins to wander again as you prepare your next move.

What do you wish to do Jake?
>>
>>29607481
Find Daiki and Sirius, contribute any help we can to fixing the Grand Wing. We somehow managed to rewire it to work after its supposed decommission despite being drunk, we can probably figure something out. Also ask them if it's safe to use the IUC while we're in this unstable state. As I recall, it couldn't be used at the same time as the Grand Wing due to power drain, so if we turn it on to hide it might have the same issues of disrupting the black box as decoupling it from the reactor would. Actually, why does the Grand Wing use volatile memory? Let's get to work on designing an upgrade to it, after we get the repairs finished. Because that's just irresponsible.
>>
>>29607481
Oh great. We're in Banana's time. Yay. Okay, if at any point we see Riddhe, we help him. Because he put up with enough shit in Unicorn, he needs all the help he can get. He just wanted to settle things peacefully, why does everyone keep jumping off ledges to get away from him?
>>
>>29607481
Oh shit, AU Unicorn.
Let's see if we can find this colony laser battle field. We might be able to pick up some scrap from there we can use to repair the machines.
We might also find a Puru. Daiki likes Purus, right? We can take them home with us?

>>29607559
>Actually, why does the Grand Wing use volatile memory?
I believe it's a conscious design choice to keep the Grand Wing data secret incase someone tries to steal it. They grab the box, everything is erased, they have a lump of metal.
>>
>>29607559
Sounds fine with me. MaG can attempt to fix the sensor issues or scan for anything useful or suspicious nearby. I just hope Minovsky particles don't mess with our systems - we need the IUS operational.

As much as you question the use of volatile memory in the Grand Wing System, it does make in terms of keeping anyone from stealing the Grand Wing's Data and copying it, or god forbid, mass producing it.

They could always try to steal the entire system itself and try to copy it via verse engineering, but due to the sheer accidental nature of the Grand Wing System's operation and the lack of scientific knowledge in regards to how exactly it does what does, but that would take years, decades perhaps, and even then they may never discover how to duplicate it without the data to work with.

As for the IUS, you can't activate it while the Grand Wing System is running, it sucks up a lot of power. If you could find another power source or free up reactor power by shutting down sections of the Treasure Star's onboard systems you might be able to run it alongside the Grand Wing System.

"Ma G, try to fix our sensor issues and if you can't, scan for more information about where we are. I'm gonna try to fix my mess..." You leave and find Daiki trying to work through the burned, twisted, rewired remains of the GW Control System.

Getting down on your knees you pop open some panels and begin to look things over with him.

>>
>>29608217
Just tell her that the time/space phase oscillator requires 300 Megajoules of Adorable to fully charge the Transpace Quantum Adapter and form the dimensional slipgate.

Or, fall back on the old "Jake is a nice guy and a sucker for kids getting a shit hand."

>>29608244
I think so, not sure. I'm not too versed on X-Rounders, but they don't seem to really pull off the kind of Bullshit a powerful Newtype does.
>>
>>29608244
Not really. Barring some physical difference in the brain structures involved they exhibit the same traits. Minor precognition and clairvoyance, telepathic communication with each other, ability to mentally connect to machines, and occasional unique abilities with weird implications for the laws of physics. It's entirely plausible that X-Waves and psycho-waves are the same thing with two different names.
>>
>>29608137
Wouldn't the Purus be grown up at this point in the UC timeline? Around Marida's age?

>>29608244
Both have precognition, ability to use specific tech, increased reflexes and all that stuff. The only difference I can think of is from where the powers stem from - X-Rounders from being more aggressive and activating parts of the human brain that were used back when they were more primitive (so it's basically natural instincts up to 11) while Newtype powers are more advanced and all about communicating with others.

>>
>>29608347
I mean 0095. Unicorn takes place in a year from now.
>>
>>29608312
The Newtypes being more evolved thing is just Zeon propaganda. They co-opted Zeon Zum Deikun's philosophy to name their psychics, when the original term was just in reference to a manner of seeing the world. Newtypes have never shown any inherent tendency to understanding and improved communication. Just look at...almost any of them. Any non-protagonist Newtype, really. You might get a few like Lalah or Shakti (both of who are females of Indian descent, actually, I wonder if there's a connection) who are just people, but most Newtypes either have a martyr complex that leads them to acts of insane heroism or deep misanthropy that leads them to try to conquer and/or destroy the world. They're not an emotionally stable group.
>>
>>29608347
That is unless we find the mythical puru treasure trove. That one room where Glemy kept all his Puru Clones in stasis.
Then we get ALL THE PURU!
>>
>>29608424
>but most Newtypes either have a martyr complex that leads them to acts of insane heroism or deep misanthropy that leads them to try to conquer and/or destroy the world.
Which is another reason Judau and Tobia are the best. Judau just wanted to find his sister and give her a good life, and Tobia punched a bitch for suggesting Newtypes were better then oldtypes and we're anything more then humans trying to live the best they can.
>>
>>29608467
Oh yeah. Tobia was awesome because he didn't even believe he was a Newtype. He just thought he was REALLY lucky. And even if he was, he didn't see any reason why that would be special. So humans adapted for life in space? How is that different from adapting to the desert, or the mountains, or the arctic? Humans are cool, we can do a lot of things, don't go maligning the fate of man just because we have weaknesses.
>>
>>29608424
That's what I loved about X. Newtypes weren't some mythical bunch capable of solving all the world troubles, they were regular people with a unique talent - while the rest of the world basically considered them something entirely different and wanted to use them to solve their troubles.

You try your absolute best to figure out the issues with the system, but even with the Daiki's help you can only shorten things down to "Fucking everything". The wiring the connections, just about all the electronics are ether burned, melted, or have shorts in their base components. The only way to fix this is to take everything out and rebuild the control system one part at a time, which is going to take quite a while.

You help Daiki started, but there's just so much to do that it's going to take forever even with your help.

"I think you should work on other things Jake" Daiki states.

"I fucked this up, I should be the one to help fix it." You say, feeling pretty guilty about this whole mess.

"That's fine, but this is going to take a while, and there are other things we have to worry about. We don't know where we really are or where we're going to end up. Let me worry about fixing this, you worry about keeping us alive. OK?"

"Alright, alright, but if you need anything don't hesitate to ask alright?"

Daiki has asked you to work on other stuff. You could try taking inventory of what you have and need, you could continue gathering information on where you are currently, or you could try to whip up some weapons for your next possible encounter.
>>
>>29608716
>Gather Information
We need to find materials and bits. We can take inventory later, just scoop shit up out of a scrap field and see what we come up with.
>>
>>29608716
Oh oops, what do you want to do Jake?
>>
>>29608849
We're okay on weapons. We still have the Super EM Crossbow and the Excalibuster^2 (because it's an Excalibuster in buster sword form). Lhuga is missing her weapons, but I think we have spare DODS and beam sabers. Worse comes to worse we'll steal some Sleeves tech and get really confused when our reactors can't recharge them since our fusion processes don't produce Minovsky particles.

But we do need material and information. Let's take the Treasure Star to a debris field. We'll pick up some scrap, most of it should be usable for the AGE Builder. And maybe we'll find some ship's communication gear in there that we can use to figure out the radio interference issues. Clearly these people aren't troubled by it, if they use broadcast television.
>>
>>29608716
Time to organize the crew. Daiki, work on fixing the Grand Wing. Sirius, to the bridge - this is your ship, and we need you to scan for everything we can use. Kotetsu, inventory of all the food, medicine, all the stuff we need if we're going to spend some time on this ship. Lhuga, check out the other suits. Jake, MaG, lets see if we can repair or fix something that's not working right.
>>
>>29608919
Also, check on the materials for the AGE builder. Maybe make a list of all the parts that need to be produced in order to fix (and eventually upgrade) the Treasure Star.
I wish we had more engineers aboard - too bad one's in a coma and the other is looking after his ass.

>>29608909
If we have a recycler aboard, we could salvage some debris and produce stuff that the AGE builder can use for manufacturing.
>>
>>29609029
That reminds me: It would be cool if we got to visit an alternate AGE continuity during this trip. Jake getting to see his daughter one more time would be nice for him, even if she isn't actually dead in his own universe. Or we could visit canon AGE and shout "I fucking knew it!" when canon Asemu refers to Flit as his father.
>>
>>29609215
Better Idea. We visit the Hot Springs and Bikini Models reality. It's not cheating if it happens in a parallel reality where your wife doesn't exist.
>>
>>29609215
Or he hits the "everything went to shit" timeline where he didn't manage to save Mellis, his family ended in prison, all that stuff.
Or we fix the Grand Wing, end up in the AGE-verse, only about 150 years before the war with the Vagans where Jake meets younger Arthur and Rysis.
>>
>>29609385
The time travel one is unlikely, given that Daiki said we're just moving in spatial dimensions. But the bad end universe... yeah, that could happen. But Crosswire said this was going to be something lighter before we jump back into Gen 3 stuff, so hopefully we won't go there.
>>
>>29608909
>>29609029
>>29608750
You decide to get everyone organized since this is a pretty crappy situation. You put Sirius on the bridge (he IS the Captain after all) to help Ma G scan for information, you put Koketsu on food, medicine, and essentials duty, and you assigned Lhuga to look over the suits and make a list of all the stuff they need weapons and equipment wise.

However you know for a fact you're going to need materials, and Daiki is going to need all the parts and electronics he can get to fix the control system. So you immediately try to find a debris field for goodies to sort through or feed to the recycler.

After a quick scan you find a debris field that's fairly near by. It's pretty close to Earth's orbit, but it seems to be in a safe enough place. There's a ton of scrap and junk floating around a few large, derelict structures. It appears to be the remains of some kind of space habitat. Too small to be a colony, but too big to a simple space station. Looks pretty old from the designs. No one should care if you poke around and collect some junk.

Going to the hanger you get ready to go.

What equipment do you want to take with you Jake? You have your Super EM Crossbow, the Excalibuster^2, and you have some anti-beam cowls to wear this time. You still have plenty of throw-able grenades and bolts left.

What kind of load out do you want? You'll be bringing a scrap collection unit, but it's handheld so it shouldn't take away any equipment space.

Despite being new to this dimension, you're still as good at collecting scrap as ever. You mostly fine raw materials to recycle, but you get some bundles and chunks of what appear to be busted up electronics, large systems from the look of it. With your scrap container full you're about to head to the ship when you decide to poke around a little bit.

You fly into one of the sections of the destroyed habitat and land, glancing around in wonder as you ponder what this place was and why it's destroyed. As you glance around you see two things, a smashed up piece of siding with the word "Lap;ace" on it and...another mobile suit standing a couple meters away.

It's tall, red, and has a unicorn like horn sticking out of it's head. The Red Unicorn is accompanied by two mono-eyed mobile suits. They only now see to notice you and they all raise their weapons, the voice of a young man, the pilot of the red suit, speaks over the comms.

Which means he's an awesome dick we can be bros with.

"I'm sure collecting some scrap materials for my ship. We're not from around these parts and we're in need of repairs..." You said, speaking the half-truth.

The Red Unicorn's pilot remained silent and kept his gun trained on you with his two wing men. Eventually however he opens a comm channel to someone else.

"Queen Mineva..."

"Yes my Knight?" A young, but unusually firm and demanding voice asks over the radio.

"I have an intruder here. I don't believe he's Federation but he doesn't seem to be just a simple scrap collector." hearing the suspicion in his voice you add

"You'd be amazed what you can make with a box of scraps"

"I demand to see this man." Mineva ordered.

"It's too dangerous for-"

"Then a simple video link will have to do"

You receive and accept a video link and suddenly you're looking at the face of a young teenager girl with orange hair and a regal attire. Despite her youth, she has a cold, calculating air to her. Her face stays neutral but her eyes seem to hold some buried hatred as she looks you over.

Suddenly you feel a unusually light headed and despite your weak X-rounder abilities you feel something reach out and try to invade your thoughts...

>Critical Failure

Caught off guard you feel something prowling your mind, like a hand rummaging around in a junk drawer searching for clues. The 'hand' pulls back and you're left feeling ill.

Mineva seems to chuckle a bit in amusement. "He's no threat to us, he's telling the truth. Though I'm surprised how ignorant he is to who we are despite his vast intelligence..."

"What do you want done with him my Lady? Should we dispose of him?" The Red Unicorn readies it's rifle...

"Don't be so hasty Banagher. I believe this man could be our ally." The young women smiles at you, though the smile seems to come from self-satisfaction and pride at how easily she invaded your thoughts.

"I apologize for my rudeness to you Jake Crocker. I am Queen Mineva Zabi, the last heir to the Zabi family, who while tyrants, were the only beacons of hope and freedom for those who live in Space. Many have died fighting to free us from the Earth Federations brutal control, including the legendary Red Comet and my moth-, I mean my care taker Haman Karn." Mineva seems to lose her momentum for a moment at the mention of Haman, but she quickly regains her composure.

"Many believe use terrorists and zealots, but in the end they're being lied too by the so called 'heroic' Titans. I do not seek to establish a regime, I only wish to see the Federation's grasp of space cut and to see them pay for all paint they've cause me, er the people. I can tell you're different and that you're...not from anywhere close to here. So if you help me, I'll do my best to help you. What do you say?"

How much does she know? We need to check in with the rest of our crew, see what they think about it. And considering how the Treasure Star may jump at any given moment, we might not be able to be of much help.

Weird, I remember Jake having basically no X-Rounder capabilities back in Gen-1 when Mellis was chasing after each and every X-Rounder around in her frenzied state. Maybe because they're too weak.
>>
>>29611685
I think he's strong enough to detect nearby X-Waves, and that's it. There was mention of him sensing something unusual when X-Rounders were using their powers, but he never manifested any of his own.

"Of course, but I have a feeling you'll be around long enough to be helpful to our cause. I have a...knack for knowing these things" Mineva explains with a regal smile.

"I'll have to discuss things with my crew. Can I have a moment?"

"Of course. I hope you're smart enough to realize the right decision." Mineva ends the call and allows you to chat with other on the Treasure Star.

After explaining the situation everyone shares there thoughts.

"I'd accept the offer Jake. We need a lot of parts to fix the control system and I'm sure we could get some much needed supplies if we help them" Daiki states.

"We don't really know if we can believe her, but she seems genuine, even if her mind reading you is a bit creepy." Captain Sirius says, sipping some coffee on the bridge.

"We could use some food and meds. There's only so much I can do with canned foods, some fresh meat and veggies would be great." Koketsu says from the kitchen.

"I don't trust her, but I don't like the sound of the Titans. I mean that doesn't exactly scream 'we're the good guys'."

All in all, the crew seems to think joining up with Mineva is a good idea.

You bring up Mineva on Video call again.

"So have you made a decision Jake?" The Queen asks.

What does she want from us? If it involves us gassing civilians or something, she can forget it.

Also, have MaG find out everything she can about both sides of the conflict, the history, everything.
And what's her opinion on this situation anyway?
>>
>>29612227
This. We need more detail. And we should have asked Ma G. She's a crew member, too.
>>
>>29612227
>>29612482

Ma G is already working on it figuring out more, but she's having difficulty with all the odd interference.

"What do you think about this situation Ma G?"

"I do not have enough information to make a decision at this time. I suggest asking for the finer details of what this joining up would

"I'm willing to listen. If you tell me what you want my help with I'll be able to make a final decision."

"Alright. I need help locating and procuring a charter." Mineva states.

"A charter?" You ask, somewhat caught off guard by the underwhelming sound of the task.

"Yes. The Universal Charter to be precise. On the day the Universal Century began the Earth Federation created a charter that confirmed the Space Colonies autonomy and the Federation's explicit promise to stay out of their affairs. It was created right here at Laplace. However as you can see, Laplace was destroyed, and the charter lost. With it, we could justify our battle against the Titans and completely neuter the Earth Federation's justifications for it's crippling grasp over us."

"So you want to us it to try to end things peacefully?" You ask.

"I doubt the Charter will bring immediate peace, but it will enlighten the ignorant population of Earth and cripple the Earth Federations resolve to control us. The fighting will probably continue for a while, but it will eventually be able to end, provided we can find the charter. So is that enough information for you Jake? I don't have all day to wait you know." Mineva states, getting a little impatient.

Ma G pipes up. "I believe joining with The Sleeves is the best course of action at this time provided the information presented is correct."

Well Jake? Made up your mind yet?

(Finished! Sorry it took so damn long. How does the map look?)

Flying out of the tube like section of the long since destroyed station, you find yourself in a large debris field filled with rocks, chunks of siding, and various bits of trash and metal. To the side you can see a large green ship, sleek and civilian looking with no visible weapons at first glance.

The Red Unicorn and the two Monoeye suits are a few meters in front of you, beyond them you can see a menacing looking ship launch out it's MS compliment. They quickly get into formation as a Gundam-Type mobile suit flies out.

"Six Jegans, one MP Nu Gundam, Alexandria's hold eight suits so be careful, they may be holding on in reserve." Mineva explains. "Protect the Garencieres and by extension, project me. We can't continue our search for the Charter here until these fools are dealt with."

A battle is about to begin, but it looks like you have the first move. What do you want to do Jake?
>>
>>29615594
Capture the MP Nu! We need Incom Technology!
>>
>>29615594
AP Plasma, full power, to the MP Nu. We've been around long enough to know that a mobile suit specifically mentioned as a MP version is dangerous. They wouldn't bother calling it MP unless it was descended from a really powerful unique unit.
>>
>>29615594
Looks damn nice.

Okay, we need a battle plan. I guess MaG is still busy finding data about this timeline, so we're stuck helping the Zeeks. If she can, let her hack into the Alexandria and lock down their launching bays. Drop some flash grenades at the most grouped enemies, and use the chaos to take out the Nu while the rest of the squad takes down the Jegans.
>>
We don't have any guarantee that the Queen will let us go after we help her find the charter.
Maybe we should send Daiki a message to aim for her ship, in case shit gets down?
>>
>>29615877
The Jegans are very spaced apart and the range is pretty great for a grenade throw. You could try to blind one of them, but they aren't close enough to blind in mass.On top of that they're fairly far off, they might have a chance to intercept the grenade.

>>29615777
At full power you can try to hit the MP Nu with no penalty. You don't know what kind of armor it has, but a shot with an AP Plasma bolt from your Super EM Crossbow should deal some major damage.

So what do you want to do? I'd like to get a general consensus.
>>
>>29616445
Okay, let's do the grenade dropping a bit later. For now, stick to the AP bolts and ask Banana what should we expect from these guys in terms of firepower, tactics and all that.
>>
>>29616445
AP bolt to the Nu. You know, they're probably not going to be expecting an attack like this. The last time anyone used a hypervelocity weapon was the Desert GM. That was 17 years ago. Railguns are not what they're used to.

"Banagher what should I expect from these guys in terms of weapons and tactics?"

"They all carry beam rifles, but the Jegan can also carry a 330mm bazooka, grenades, missiles in their shields, and more. As for the Nu it tends to have a high power power beam rifle and an INCOM System." Banagher explains quickly.

"INCOM?"

"It's quasi-Newtype weapon system meant to emulate the all range attack funnels used by a lot of Newtype use suits. They're wire guided and tend to be less mobile and fewer in number then funnels, but they're still dangerous in the right hands. The Titans tend to be very aggressive and will resort to any trick in the book to win. If you think for a second they'll let up or run away, then you're gravely mistaken. They tend to work individually to isolate or distract enemies so the others can get in a shot while the enemy is busy."

"Alright thanks for the heads up!" You draw your Super EM Crossbow and take aim. Lining up with the Nu you take aim, fire and...

>SHOT MISSES. MP Nu evades.

The shot flies true and heads straight for the MP Nu Gundam. However as the bolt streaks through the blackness of space the MP Nu blasts it's thrusters and jerks violently to the side, the bolt grazing it's shoulder before flying off into the ether.

Reacting to the shot, the Jegans rush forward, charging into combat range while trying to use the debris as cover. Two Jegans to your right begin heading towards the ship while another two Jegans to your left begin rushing to try and get around and flank you.

The MP Nu Gundam rushes forward, followed by two Jegans who stick close to it like wingmen.

The two Jegans to your left aim and fire on one of the Geara Zulu's with you...

>(11 and 24 vs 22)

One of the Jegans misses completely but the other one manages to hit a glancing shot off the Geara Zulu's shoulder. Moving forward it sprays it's beam machinegun trying to hit the Jegans...

>(29 & 21 vs 23 and 9)

The first Geara Zulu manages to hit both of the Jegans, landing direct hits and tearing up their torso armor quite a bit. The Jegans are still in the game, but another hit like that and they're dead.

The second Geara Zulu rushes to intercept the Jegans heading for the ship, spraying it's beam machine gun to try and ward them off...

(18 & 23 vs 23 and 9)

One of the Jegan dives out of the spray, but the other is not so fortunate and takes the brunt of the shots, blowing off and arm and melting chunks off it's armored midsection.

As the Geara Zulu Guards try to handle two Jegans at a time, the Red Unicorn flies forward and fires off a shot at one of the more exposed Jegans following the MP Nu Gundam. Despite it's rifle looking fairly normal, it releases what you can only describe as a concentrated ball of beam energy, collected at the end of the barrel and propelled at tremendous velocity.

>(28 vs 9)

The Jegan barely has time to look up to see the shot coming before it tears through it, passing through the mobile suit like a super heated bullet through a block of butter.

As the other Jegan fires at the Red Unicorn to keep it at bay, the MP Nu Gundam moves behind a chunk of debris for cover and begins firing on you with what was essentially a beam assult rifle, sending streaks of brilliant pink beam energy at you...

"Damn it!" You curse and raise your EM Super Crossbow to retaliate when you see another MP Nu Gundam launch off the Alexandria's catapult deck. Large, unusual devices attached to it's back.
