>Recap
You continued your fierce battle with the wicked Androids 13, 14, and 15. Much of West City was destroyed before you managed to defeat 14 and 15, decapitating them both. Android 13, rather than distressed at seeing his comrades slain, was amused. Badly injured and with no senzu beans, you used your Instant Transmission to go to Korin's tower, where you received half a dozen senzu beans. You used one to recover from your injuries, and returned to West City. Android 13 had changed while you were gone, growing in both size and power, and drastically changing in appearance. You used your instant Transmission to take him away from the city, before returning and finding that Salta, Spina, Fita, Raditz, and Nappa had all been wounded badly in the battle. You gave beans to everyone but Raditz, who you had taken to a rejuvenation chamber. With one bean remaining, you got Vegeta and went to face Android 13. The battle did not go well, as he effortlessly thrashed you both. Your death seemed imminent, but thinking cleverly, you managed to destroy the android with his own attack. You gave your last senzu bean to the badly injured Vegeta just as Salta, Spina, Fita, Bardock, Nappa, Bulma, Android 17, and Android 18 arrived. After some discussion, you decided that someone must had been to Doctor Gero's lab and activated the androids (Cont)
>>
>>29629517
You and the others travelled to the ruined lab, where you found the pod containing Android 16 to be missing. Furthermore, upon searching the basement, you found the pods of Androids 13, 14, and 15 all open. With Gero's central computer destroyed, 17 and 18 believed that the only way the other androids could have been activated is by someone who knew the proper codes doing so manually. You suspected that Gero could have had more hidden rooms in his lab, and decided to search for them, hoping to find clues. You soon discovered a room beneath the basement containing a massive computer. The computer held files on the Androids, Cell, powerful explosive devices, and the process of converting humans into cybernetic beings like 17 and 18. After allowing Bulma to download data from it, 17 destroyed the computer. You searched and found a tunnel connected to the basement. Going through it, you came to a large room containing a surgical table and a pair of open pods labeled "5" and "6". You went back to Capsule Corp and got everyone some of the improved scouters Doctor Briefs had been working on, then returned. 17 and 18 were deeply unsettled by the room, staring at the surgical table with haunted looks. They managed to tell you that it was on that table that they went through the horrific process of becoming cyborgs. 17 and 18 left the room while you looked around, ultimately finding nothing. Leaving the lab, you found 17 blasting rocks in anger and 18 looking sick, vomit on the ground in front of her. You offered to let them destroy the lab, and they gladly did so, destroying everything there, any secret rooms you missed included.

>So, last night the thread ended while I was in the middle of answering questions. Any questions before this one starts?

>>29629631
Did Arey already set up the mars dragon balls?

He is working on it. It takes 100 days, and it has been just over 2 months since you returned from Namek
>>
>>29629690
Alright, thanks Som.
>>
The mountain shakes. Clouds of dust obscure your vision and cause you and the others to cough.

Above the clouds, 17 and 18 look down at the destruction, their faces contorted in anger and grief. They land in front of you as the dust settles, and you see that they were quite thorough at their job. Only a crater remains where the lab once was, not unlike the crater where North City once stood, ironically enough.

"Good riddance" 17 comments, savoring his work.

"I only wish Gero was here, I made his death too quick" 18 adds.

17 chuckles darkly. "You know what to say to put a smile on my face."

"He deserves every second of what he gets" 18 says. "But it looks like he's not done causing trouble just yet."

"I enjoy trouble" Nappa says.

"18 is right" Salta says. "Clearly there's someone or something out there that knows quite a bit about Doctor Gero and his projects, and they apparently have Android 16 now."

Salta hits the button on her scouter, looking a bit frustrated. "Scouter isn't picking up anything of the sort."

"Maybe they're really far underground" 18 suggests.

"Well, I do have an idea" Bulma says. "Arey is working on the Martian Dragon Balls. He said it would take a hundred days, and it's already been two months. We just have to wait a few weeks for him to finish, then summon the dragon and wish for their locations."

I have specified in all the other two or three posts.
I do agree with asking Briefs though.

>Because if you recall, the last time we didn't specify Salta, Spina, and Fita they nearly got killed.
They aren't far from us, but trainning their base power by a few millions will in no way make them powerfull enough to tackle beings worth over a billion in PL. Unless they somehow get stronger than vegeta in two weeks.
>>
>>29631341
>trainning their base power by a few millions will in no way make them powerfull enough
And so we just shouldn't train with them at all? Even a few million gets multiplied by 50 at SSJ1, and could make a huge difference in how well they survive future encounters.

I'll say it again, think before you post.

"Here we are, Doctor Wheelo" Bulma says.

"Doctor Wheelo was an extremely controversial scientist obsessed with modifying the human race. He sought to create the perfect warriors through both mechanical and genetic engineering" Bulma reads aloud.

"That sounds familiar" 18 grumbles.

"His goals and methods led to many considering him a madman and criticizing his work" Bulma continues. "Some say Doctor Wheelo had plans to alter the entire human race, but he fell deathly ill before he had the chance. Because Briefs is someone we know, and Fita's "parents" are like goddamn supergeniuses.
>>
>>29634210
Well, he was the first, and he has the knowhow, moreso than Briefs or Bulma (especially the latter at her current age). Also, he worked with Gero, why aren't we going to this guy if not only to probe him about Gero's plans and his work on androids? I think you guys are following this Dr. Wheelo red herring when Flappes would be the best lead to go on at the moment. I won't be surprised if all we find at the avalanche site is nothing but snow like it's going to be until Kochin finds the dragonballs and wishes it to thaw.

>>29634362
That doesn't fit the profile. We're looking for someone who knew about Gero's work with androids, where his secret lab was, and the codes to release said androids. Wheelo fits the profile for Future-Unrelated-Threat-We-Should-Worry-About-When-There-Aren't-Missing-Androids-We-Know-Nothing-About-That-Might-Want-Us-Dead. All we know about Wheelo is he's doing fuckass science of his own sort and is entirely unrelated to Gero and the Red Ribbon Army. Flappes worked with Gero and was coerced into working for the Red Ribbon Army as well. He's the lead to go on, not Wheelo.
>>
>>29634402
Well if Wheelo is the guy who stole Gero's research, he probably knows about the bomb, so he could set it off. I'd rather get that out sooner rather than later if that's the case
>>
>>29634402
>A. The bomb. 17 and 18 shouldn't have to have that inside them any longer now that we can take it out. Besides, if Wheelo did get a hold of Gero's research he might be able to detonate those bombs.

You turn and follow 18, coming into the lab to find her talking with Doctor Briefs. You suddenly get a strange feeling, you sense some sort of impending danger. You feel fear and shock, but it doesn't seem to be coming from anybody currently.

You stretch out with your senses and see if you can pinpoint where the fear you sensed is coming from, but are unable to find anything.

Doctor Briefs gives 18 some anesthesia before beginning to operate. You decide to remain in the room while this happens, looking away while she is being operated on. A few of the scientists assisting Doctor Briefs throw some nervous and confused looks your way as they help him work.

After a short while, the bomb is removes, and Doctor Briefs works hard to disarm it. You see him looking uneasy as he does so, and you can hardly blame him. Of course, he disarms it successfully, and gets to work fixing 18 back up. Soon, she opens her eyes and sits up.

You walk over to Bulma, and kneel next to her. You hug her as she sobs into your chest. You've never seen Bulma like this, never heard this sort of broken, despairing sound coming from her.

"The new guardian of Mars will have a fresh set of Dragonballs ready in under two months" you say, attempting to reassure her. "We'll make this right, Bulma."

She looks up at you and wipes the tears from her eyes. After a few moments, she manages to nod.

You telepathically tell the others to head to the coordinates, and let them know what has happened.

You carry Bulma as you and Fita fly to the coordinates, the others right behind you. Soon, you arrive, landing on a large glacier and setting Bulma down. She runs to Vegeta, who holds her.

You ask Bulma to look into the disappearances in West City.

"I'm on it" she tells you.

Vegeta and Fita volunteer to keep watch over her for a while, nobody feels safe leaving her alone right now.

You decide to seek out Android 17. Using your scouter to lock onto his location, you use your instant transmission to teleport to him. You end up in a recording booth, standing behind him as he records lines.

"You should have never insulted the Jagan eye, because you see, in a way it has it's own mind and loathes disrespect. Resisting it is not something I would do" he says.

Also, we did joke about shrooms, but mushrooms are scientifically good at changing neural behaviour. "Very well, then prepare yourself" Kami says, placing his hand on your forehead.

Everything goes dark. Then, after several seconds, you begin to see. You see 18 lying down on a surgical table that is eerily similar to the one in Doctor Gero's lab in appearance. She is unconscious, looking as if she is in a deep sleep.

Next to the table is a woman who's face you cannot see, and a man with short black hair and a bearded face wearing a Capsule Corporation lab coat.

"I must admit, I am extremely impressed with the degree of success you managed" the woman says. "The data was expected, but the two guests you've brought us are magnificent."

The man smiles. "I am happy to see you so pleased. Honestly, much of it was more luck than anything else."

"I am not concerned with the means, only the end" the woman assures him. "It is regrettable that you will be unable to return to Capsule Corp. They will figure out your involvement before too long, I fear."

"I apologize for blowing my cover, Doctor" the man says.

"Do not worry, you have done far more on this single day than you would have been capable of in several more years of undercover work" the woman says.

>>
>>29641864
>>29642102
>>29642215

You decide to keep watching, hoping to learn more.

"We have gained much these last few days" the woman continues. "Androids 13 through 15 provided us with much more up to date information on the fighting capabilities of some of our enemies. Androids 5,6, 16, and 18 will use the data to aid in their destruction."

"I still don't think 5 and 6 will be up for a battle of that caliber" the man says.

"At the moment, they are not" the woman agrees. "However, you have helped quite a bit in solving that problem as well, with our other guest."

The woman and man leave the surgical table and approach another one, where an unconscious figure lies. With dawning horror, you realize you are staring at Raditz.

"With this one's energy to feed on, 5 and 6 will grow far more powerful" the woman says.

"True, but they will still be far weaker than our more powerful foes" the man points out.

"Ah, but this one will not simply be drained and cast aside" the woman says. "Doctor Gero has learned much about the Saiyans over the years. For example, they have a remarkable trait that causes them to grow stronger every time they recover from a serious injury. 5 and 6 shall drain him until he is within an inch of death, then we shall allow him to recover. He will be more powerful, giving them more energy to feed on. We repeat the process, giving them an ever growing energy source to augment their powers with."

"And what of the other projects?" the man asks.

"Androids 21 and 22 are progressing well" the woman tells him. "Android 16 is currently being reprogrammed, and we can begin work on Android 18 soon. It's a pity 17 wasn't there for you to capture as well, but he should not be needed."

"And what of the members of the army that you promised would become immortal?" the man asks.

"I will do as I promised. They will be altered to live forever, though they shall still be far weaker than any of the models we are currently working on" the woman responds.

With that, she turns and leaves the room, the man following close behind. They come to a balcony overlooking a massive cavern, filled to the brim with soldiers.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the moment is fast approaching, when the Red Ribbon Army shall rise again!" she shouts down to the assembled soldiers, who burst into cheers.

You attempt to sense Raditz, but you feel nothing. Your scouter detects nothing as well. Stretching out with your mind, you try to sense his, and you do. It's faint, but you know the general area it is in. You're not certain an instant transmission will bring you to his exact location, but it will put you in the right general area. It looks like you've finally picked up a proper trail. It looks like you may be able to save your friends after all.
