You are Gertrude Pool, Sophomore Class President and new commander of Lafayette Girls Academy’s revived Tankery Team.

“And slowly…” You stand behind Kitten, your nchest chest pressing against her back you teach her how to properly shave her legs. Kitten meanwhile has her leg, covered in white shaving cream, up on the wall of the bathtub. You take her wrist, guiding her hand slowly up her leg, your other hand bracing on her inner thigh. The only thing really separating you two right now are towels wrapped around your bodies. You smile and say, “And do that a couple more times, and you’ve got a nice smooth leg there, Kitten.” You rub her thigh for emphasis, smiling.

Kitten nods, blush intensifying. “Thanks, Trudy,” she says normally. “But really, do I have to do this?”

You nod violently. “Of course! Every girl needs to know how to shave her legs. We all wear skirts you know, and with those miniskirts, I’d like to have my little pussycat’s legs smooth as silk. Guys dig smooth legs you know.” You rustle her wet hair a bit then move off from her, standing away and placing your hands on your hips.

“Alright, that I can understand uh…” She looks at you, questioningly. “How many times a week do I have to do this?”

You tap your chin, pensive. “Well I shave my legs usually right before I head to sleep.”

“Everyday?”

“Mmm… every two days. It’s just a matter of getting into the habit of course, Kitten.”

[1/2]
>>
>>29753112
[2/2]

Kitten nods, looking back at the rest of her unshaved legs. You had to admit, if there’s anything good that came out of Kitten’s self-imposed exile for social interactions, it was the fact that she still looked relatively attractive. Those legs especially.

Then again, you’ve always been a fan of legs.

“Wait, Trudy.”

You quirk your brow. “Hm?”

Kitten’s intense blush INTENSIFIES. “Uh… what about… you know?”

You tilt your head innocently. “No, I don’t.” Tick. Tock. Tick. oh OH. OH SHE MEANS THAT. “OH!” You snap your finger, chuckling nervously. “Oh, don’t worry about that! Landscaping-“

“THERE’S A NAME FOR THAT?!”

You wheeze out a laugh. “Haha! N-no… I just came up with that, haha!” You sit down on the toilet seat, crossing your legs. “But seriously, Kitten. Don’t worry about that. It’s not like either of us are going to be having sex anytime soon.”

Kitten looks down insecurely at herself. “Hmm… Okay.” She looks back at you. “But-“

“Nothing doing, Kitten. We’ll come to that road when we come to it.”

You pick up your phone and start browsing, might as well wait around. Last night however, you came to the conclusion that some of your tanks did need an upgrade. Wendy requested that their Panzer IV be upgraded, and the Sentinel tank be upgunned with the QF 6-Pounder. You actually managed to talk to Mr. Mishka about the potential upgunning, and actually managed to slash the price entirely.

So, should you confirm it?

Also, Schteel, I've been thinking. Is it possible to have non-tournament Tankery matches? The tournament stuff is good, but their matches are pretty few, and it'll be nice to have a honest-to-god tankery match without the pressure of what'll happen to us if we fail. Plus this will allow us to go against fan favorites like Saunders whom we are unlikely to face off against otherwise.

we should buy the long 75mm for the panzer 4.

I'm surprised Trude managed to haggle Mr.Miksha
>>
So after this purchase, are we saving up for the AC IV or StuG III Ausf. F?
We should be able to squeeze in another conversion before the match.
>>

Eh. Fuck it. You quickly email Mr. Mishka your purchase and conversions.

> - 3,000 DOLLARS

“Ow!” You look over at Kitten, whose towel has been raised a bit.

You wheeze, trying not to laugh. “Kitten, did you-“

“Yes!” She withdraws her leg from the tub and pulls her towel down a bit to cover herself. “Lot harder than I imagined.”

You slap your knee. “Ahahahaha!”

She turns around to you, fuming and clutching her towel like a Teddy bear. “Shut the fuck up! I bet you’ve got a jungle down there!”

“… I actually do shave.” You continue cackling while Kitten steams like a boat.

With that, the both of you finish off freshening up for the day, you especially like bending over to see Kitten’s freshly shaved legs. Gorgeous. Kitten rolls her eyes as she lies on your bed, laptop opened up and headphones now around her ears. Might as well give her some time to cool off.

Now though, it’s time for you to get dressed.

Bah, Kay is sufficient for all our needs.

Then again, we may not want to call her until we got that Firefly up and running, for thematic reasons.

>>
Just to be clear, do most agree getting the Ausf. F or 75mm for the Panzer?

>>29753380
That's an option too I suppose. Would the team overall be better off with an M4A4 over a Chi-Ha, or have our StuG upgraded?
Though they'd get a penalty being switched last minute into a tank they haven't practiced with so I guess the point's moot.

Once you’re dressed, you get yourself some breakfast. A nice grilled cheese sandwich will do for today. You yawn as you look over at what Kitten’s doing. Playing around on her laptop, still in her towel. You might need to loan her some of your clothes again.

You receive an email. It’s been a while since you checked your email. MAYBE YOU’VE GOT LOTS OF PEOPLE SENDING YOU STUFF.

… nope, just Lutz.

TO: Gertrude Pool
FROM: Ashley Ursula Lutz

Good day to you, Gertrude Pool! You do not need to respond to this email, this is just to inform you of the location of your Tankery match on Saturday, October 12th! It will take place in and around the vicinity of Saint Sauveur. More detailed maps are attached to this file, and I’ve also taken the liberty of emailing your staff as well.

If you have any objections, please make them today, otherwise good luck!

You nod. Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte. That’s a decent distance from Cherbourg but nothing too difficult. Would actually be quite the thing to see the French countryside.

Having the Stug upgraded, will be a good addition but it is quite pricey considering we need to buy the long gun for the Panzer 4.

The only upgrades I see (if we do another cookie run maybe) is upgrading the Panther again (though I'm not sure what upgrades the variant will bring)

or maybe upgrading the Chi-ha to a Shinoto Chi-ha with a high velocity 47mm which should be enough to take out the lightly armored crusier tanks.

but both are cheap and could be a good benefit considering the time we have left.

You pull out your phone and start studying up on William Adams Naval Academy. Again, it’s mostly cruiser tanks and the like. Of course, you don’t really learn anything new other than how they use a cruiser’s mobility to quickly seize ground. You wonder if Nancy and the rest of the staff are studying up on this. You hope they are.

You blink. Wait a moment. You’re watching this highlight reel from their Regionals a few months back. A Crusader III has lured a Centurion tank into a tight street. The Crusader manages to deftly dodge every shot the Centurion tries to put out. The Crusader rounds the corner and, before the Centurion knows what hit him, manages to put a hole in the side of the Centurion’s turret, knocking it out.

Might as well commit it to memory. Could use it later.

Jenny stops the Scout Car just outside of the perimeter of the Abandoned Hangar. You stand up in your seat and take a look at all the diggers, bulldozers, and other wrecking equipment being moved into the area.

Lidya whistles admirably. “Hope we get there before the planes get fucked.”

You nod. “Yeah. Let’s go find Dory.”

You all hop out of the Scout Car and take a walk around. You see Naval Studies Students of different departments, some of Rescue and some of Electronics, but mostly Engineering students. They all look at you and whisper your name, gossiping. You wonder what the latest hubbub is about.

Finally, you find Dory, framing the Hangar with her fingers like a photograph just outside the fence. “Hey, Dory.”

You shrug. “Well, I mostly need in because we think there might still be some planes in the hangar, and the Hall Monitor manning the post won’t let me in.”

“Hm, interesting. I’ll get you in, don’t worry.” Dory snaps her finger, and immediately one of the Engineering students slides over. “Bradley. Would you mind getting these guys some uniforms?”

Bradley nods. “Righto.” She slides out of view, then quickly slides back in, a stack of Naval Studies Uniforms in her hands. “Five uniforms, should be your size. We also provided gas masks for you.”

Dory smirks, pointing at you in a funny manner. “And hey, you can keep those if you want. I personally like having the skirt around, it’s comfy as hell.”

Dory nods, understanding. She turns around and looks at all the Naval Studies kids who’ve gathered around. She says, “Sorry, girls. No go.” All of them disperse, angry, disappointed, and a bit saddened. To your embarrassment, you can actually hear one say, “I wanted to ask her out.”

You look at Dory, a bit peeved. “Was that it?”

Dory shrugs. “Well, beyond that, there’s also rumors of the Recall Election and that you might end up having to switch over to Naval Studies to avoid the embarrassment.”

You scoff. “As if!” You quickly wave your hand apologetically. “No offense.”

“None taken.”

With that, you and the Aviation Studies Club get dressed out in the spare Naval Studies uniforms. Dory checks the time, then declares the job ready for business. All the students start moving in through the checkpoint, you included. The Hall Monitor apparently doesn’t notice any of you.

Good.

“So, maybe you girls are still interested in doing Tankery with us?”

Dory shrugs. “Like I said, we still have a lot of work to be doing. It’d really cut into our schedule you know?”

You say, “Understandable. Still, thanks for at least fixing our tanks up.”

“No problem.”

“Wow!” You and Dory look over to the Aviation kids, whom have rushed over to the Hangar to see what was what. For one thing, this hangar was really fucking huge. And another thing, you’ve found the planes.

Marina calls them, “The Henschel Hs 129 B-3, an F2A-3 Buffalo, and a Ki-61 Hei.”

You all stand in the shadow of these rusting, rotting, vintage planes. They must have been here a while.

Katya is a bit cynical though. “What pieces of junk.”

Lidya says, “Hey! The Buffalo’s a good plane! And I really like that Comedy Cannon on the Hs-129!”

Jenny says, “Yeah, it’s Comedy in that all the good teams will laugh at us for bringing it.”

Marina shrugs, looking at you. “What do you think, Gertrude?”

“Well, honestly, I don’t much about planes,” you say. “But, I think you’ve definitely got something here.” You point at the Hs-129 and it’s hugeass gun. “Why do you call that the Comedy Cannon anyway?”

Katya says, “It’s a Comedy Cannon because it has to hit moving targets faster than it. It’s pretty much useless in Elimination battles where it has to fight planes.”

Lidya nods. “Yeah, most teams just use bombers and attack craft like the Henschel as gunships. Of course, I would’ve settled with the B-2, the one with the 30mm Mark 103s.”

Jenny says, “Indeed. Personally, I think it’s hilarious though. But at least we found all the planes. Now we just have to find a place to put them.”

You say, “Well, there’s space in the Tankery Hangar. We can shove them all in there until further notice.”

“Great!” says Marina. She looks over at Dory. “So, we going to move these things out?”

“Sure,” says Dora as she looks at the planes admirably. “We can move these planes out then we can start working on demolition.”

You nod. “Great.”

You stand by, operating as the spotter for a bulldozer. As Dory states, “Every vehicle here has at least two or three spotters so that they know where they’re going and know when to stop.” On the other side of the bulldozer are a couple of other Naval Studies students.

The Bulldozer starts lightly, mostly working on some of the lighter structures around the Hangar. This includes trailers, outhouses, modular buildings, etcetera. So far the work goes by fine overall and in good time all of the buildings except the hangar are rubble.

“Next,” says Dory. “We have to load all this rubble with those diggers and excavators into those trucks.” Dory points to the huge trucks.

You nod. “Okay then.”

Again, you’re mostly reduced to spotting work and occasionally moving something too small for the diggers. Understandable though. Dory and the Engineers know what they’re doing. You and the Aviation Studies Club don’t.

By the end of it, the rubble is mostly gone. You wipe your sweatstained brow. All that’s left is the hangar.

You receive a call there.

You hang up there and return to work. Time to take down this hangar. Man, at this rate you’ll probably done by the time lunch ends.

Dory has you spot again for an excavator as it starts moving rubble into a truck. Meanwhile, a wrecking ball has allocated and is busy hammering down on the Hangar’s roof. The planes have already been moved outside ready for transport, so no harm done. “Say, Dory,” you ask. “Where does all this stuff go? The rubble and such.”

Dory says, “Anything that’s recyclable is recycled, anything else is tossed into the incinerator.”

“We have an incinerator?” you ask.

Dory nods, grinning like a madwoman. “Like the one in Toy Story 3.”

You haul up a broken beam of wood along with a few other students onto the rubble pile. Nothing you can’t handle. You’re pretty damn strong after all. With the Hangar already halfway destroyed, the work has shifted from wrecking the rest to moving the wreckage.

One of the students whom you identified as Sloan Cutter, or Slade as most call her, says, “… and then his pants were on fire just like that. And I told him shit was on fire.”

You nod. “I heard. You take the same comm. Class as Kitten does?”

Slade shakes her head. “Nah. That’s Dana’s job. She’s minoring as a Communications student. Wants to get into the radio show business out of school.”

Dana, who’s behind her, says, “Are you implying that’s some pipe dream?”

Slade puffs her cheeks, holding her hands up defensively. “I’m implying nothing!”

“Pft.” Dana scoffs at that. “Whatever, radio’s a really good business and it’s not going to fade away just because webvideos and such are moseying in on the territory.”

You rub your hands together. “Well, I suppose that’s a nice career to get into, Dana.”

Dana asks you, “What are you going to do after you finish school?”

… huh. You actually hadn’t considered that. Thankfully, you don’t have to respond because Dory rings the Lunch Bell. “LUNCH TIME!”

As if on cue, Cupid the Sherman arrives, bearing lunches for everyone. Nancy, Kitten, Lisa, and Ramirez pop out of the hatches. “Hi, Gertrude! I trust you’re well?” asks Nancy.

Katya says, “If you think this is hard work, just wait until we have to restore these planes. I mean, these will be easy in comparison to the Hurricane.”

Jenny says, “Katya, you’re worrying too much! Focus on the now! We got planes! That means we can finally start a Skycraft team, just as soon as Gertrude gets it approved.”

“Oh, you can count on it,” you say.

Kitten asks you, “So why are you wearing that Naval Studies uniform?”

“Well,” this is going to take some explaining. “Dory gave us these so that we could slip past the Hall Monitor at the checkpoint. She says we can keep them too.”

You ask, “What team are you watching, Kitten?”

Everyone whistles and chats excitedly at the conclusion of the match. Ooarai’s great victory. You scratch your chin, thinking. Wonder how they’re doing in the Tournament. You ask, “I wonder how they’re doing in the Tournament.” Why did you even think that, you just asked anyway.

You return to work anyway. Your crew and the Aviation Studies Club also joins you in this endeavor. All that’s left is to deconstruct the last half of the Hangar, which comes down by the weight of the wrecking ball. The rest of the Hangar in good time manages to become a hulking wreck.

All that’s left for it is to be loaded onto trucks.

Dory walks up to you. “Say, Gertrude. Really, thanks for your help today?”

You wave her off. “Hey, I was just here for planes, you know?”

“Well,” says Dory, “At the very least. As a token of my appreciation, have this.” Dory reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small black book. You take a look at it. On the cover is a golden gear, and the title of the book is, “ENGINEERING FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS”

You ask Nancy, “So what did the Sewing Club want?”

Nancy shrugs. “Mamie wouldn’t say. All I could hear was come to the Sewing Club building and Anna crying in the background.”

Kitten looks back at you, concerned. “You don’t think it’s anything bad, is it?”

“Hopefully not, I fear for what might’ve happened honestly. Hopefully no one’s dead.”

Lisa says, “Maybe Anna’s boyfriend broke up with her.”

“… Anna has a boyfriend?”

Lisa nods, eyes on the road. “Yeah, she told you this ages ago, didn’t she?”

You frown. “Huh. I must have forgot. Then why is she so grabby with everyone?”

Lisa snarkily says, “Well, 5,000 Students board, 2,500 couples leave.”

With that, you arrive just outside of the Sewing Club building. You turn out the hatch to see Hall Monitors. Lots of them in fact, moving and loading clothes into trucks. Meanwhile, off to the side are the Sewing Club members. Anna has apparently fainted into Bess’ arms, while Mamie fans her with a spare cloth.

You all hop out of the tank and walk over. Mamie greets you, concerned. “Gertrude, glad to see you’re here.”

Anna opens her eyes for a moment. “Is that Gertrude? Is Kitten with her? Kitten! Come here! I need your breasts for comfort!”

Kitten says, “Yeah. No.”

You ask Mamie, “What’s going on?”

Mamie sighs. “They’re shutting down the building and taking our stuff.”

… huh?

Nancy says, “They can’t do that! You’re a club!”

“Actually,” oh god, not O’Bannon. You turn around to see, it’s not O’Bannon. It’s in fact, O’Hara and O’Brian. “They aren’t.”

“The fuck are you talking about?”

O’Hara says, “The Sewing Club as they claim to be aren’t a registered club. In fact, we can’t find any records of the Sewing Club ever existing.”

… Wait. This sounds familiar.

O’Hara continues, “Thus, we’re impounding their stuff until further notice.” She flips a paper on her clipboard. “They can file a claim with us later to get it back, and most assuredly they will, providing nothing illegal is in there.”

O’Brian nods. “Aye. That’s just how we run things round here. No harm intended.”

“Wait,” says Nancy. “They are a club. They had a booth at the Club Fair and they’ve been here for years.”

O’Hara pulls out her smartphone and begins flipping through. “According to the archives, again, there’s no records of a Sewing Club.” She shrugs. “Apologies I suppose.” With that, she puts her phone back into her pocket and says, “You can get them registered later or something. But right now, we have to shut the building down so that an actual club can registered to own it.”

Lisa says, “Who’d want to be in this building? It has no wi-fi.”

O’Brian says, “Feck should I know? Who gives a flying shite about it honestly.”

O’Hara points over to the trucks. “We oughta oversee the loading. We’ll leave you alone for now. Got any questions just talk to us.”

With that, O’Brian and O’Hara leave. Anna moans, the back of her hand on her forehead. “Oh, this is terrible! I completely forgot to register us as a club! I can’t believe I forgot!” She looks at you. “Gertrude! You know, it wasn’t always like this! We used to create dresses and clothes, and all kinds of outfits for students! And we had fun doing it.” She balls her hands up into fists, tears leaking out of her eyes. “Oh! Gertrude! Won’t you help us bring those days back!?”

You walk over to O’Hara and O’Brian overseeing the loading. “Say, Megan. Is it really necessary to take their stuff?”

O’Hara says, “Protocol dictates that we have to confiscate materials. Once they are determined not to be of a contraband nature, they can be returned upon first request.”

O’Brian says, “Problem is, there’s so much stuff it’s going to take us forever.”

Lisa says, “But it’s just clothes.”

“Aye,” says O’Hara, “But it could have harmful messages, or it could be against dress code.” She shrugs. “Honestly, I would’ve imagined you all would understand.”

You say, “Well, the Sewing Club are part of our team. What you’re doing is basically hurting them really bad, O’Hara.”

O’Hara sigh, nodding. “Well, ain’t that something.” A Hall Monitor calls out that the last box has been loaded. “Ah, that’s us.” Both O’Hara and O’Brian climb into the back of the truck. “We oughta go, good luck with your Tankery thing, Gertrude.”

You watch some of their highlight reels on your phone. Nothing too out of the ordinary, though you do note a pattern to their tactics, at least from the start. Each group is usually provided a Challenger for long range support.

That could be interesting.

We could fact check it in-game with the History Team so we don't encounter any problems from the ITL.

They need the adjustment period more than the Aces.
>>
>>29760870
That seems wise, we need the gun anyway for the Panzer 4

We made the final decision today. so it will probably need all day tomorrow I assume?

Honestly I just as confused.

Also how should we spend tommorow?
>>
>>29760918

The Aces need a gun that can actually penetrate tanks instead of the shoddy low velocity gun. Michelle is our best gunner, give her something to work with.
>>
>>29760918
I think the Aces need it more

Their having a tough time as it is with the the short barrel gun, as much as I want to upgun the Stug and the Chi-ha I think it's best to give it to the Aces,
>>

Start on the Freshmen loyalty quest gets my vote, personally. Maybe secure more funds instead so we can afford a second 75mm and Hedgerow Cutters on top of that.

Quiznos. What else.

“I’ll have that, and I’ll have that, and I’ll have all of that. Give me a bit of that. And splash a bit of that as well, and put that on there,” you say as the poor employee tries to keep up with you. This is going to be a sandwich for the ages.

Lisa stands next to you and asks, “Why are we at Quiznos? Why not Subway?”

“Because,” you say as you keep adding ingredients, “Subway’s too far. I’m hungry NOW.”

“Man, if you didn’t exercise regularly, you’d probably be fatter than a Military wife,” says Lisa.

With that, you receive your monster of a sandwich and return to the table, where everyone else has gotten their meals. You sit down next to Kitten and chow down. DAYUM This sandwich of yours is glorious, it’s so filling that you can’t even chew it properly.

Kitten looks over at you. “Ah, Trudy, you got some,” she points near her lip.

“Mafaf,” you say. All this meat in your mouth isn’t doing wonders for clarity. Kitten rolls her eyes, and then leans over. Much to Lisa and Nancy’s surprise, she licks the mayo right off of you. You smile and nod thanks to her. You both look at Nancy and Lisa, who look like they’ve seen a ghost.

You swallow. “Something the matter?”

Lisa shakes her head. “Nah.”

You say, “So, I bought the long barrel 75 for our Panzer IV, it’s going to be converted into something called the F2.”

Nancy snaps out of her stupor then says, “Of course! The Panzer IV F2 was the first real upgunning of that particular tank, mostly designed to fight the T-34 and the KV-1.”

You ask, “Is it good?”

“Well the gun was based off an anti-tank gun. Considering we’re going up against Cruiser tanks, it should do very well against enemy tanks!”

Lisa says, “According to our maps though, we’re fighting in prime hedgerow country. Adams especially is going to start where the hedgerows are probably thickest.”

You take another bite out of your sandwich. After a hearty swallow, you say, “Well, I suppose we can work our strategy around that. Hedgerows oughta neutralize their advantage in speed and range. Same with the city of Saint Sauveur. If we can draw them into close quarters, we should be able to nail them.”

Nancy says, “Great! Me and Lisa then will work tomorrow night on some plans. We can schedule a strategy meeting on Friday too!”

Lisa nods. “Yep.” She looks over at Kitten, glaring. “Kitten’s invited too.”

Kitten shrugs. “Hey, if you want me to clean that rathole of a dorm of yours, sure.”

Lisa fumes and says, “Oh shut up! I just saw you lick mayo off the Boss’ lip! That’s not even-”

You frown. “Is there something wrong with that?”

Lisa tugs on her hair, groaning. “Augh! You two are confusing sometimes!”

“So, Ramirez, you excited to go to William Adams?”

Ramirez says, “I talk plenty.”

“You just proved yourself wrong,” you say. “Look, if you don’t want to go, that’s fine. I can go myself or just bring someone else along.”

Lisa waves her hand. “Nah, I’m wouldn’t want to go. I don’t really know anyone.”

Nancy nods. “Same. As much as I’d like to go, Perrine and Victoria are a bit… interesting. I don’t particularly would like to spend the night with them.”

“That’s fine,” you say. “Perrine’s pretty nice though, and I’d like to assume the same about Victoria.”

Lisa says, “Say, Ramirez. How come you don’t talk all that much anyway?”

Ramirez says, “I say what I think is necessary.”

Nancy says, “It feels like there’s some great pause after you speak. You ever think of like small talk?”

You nod. “Yeah, small talk is going to be a thing at that slumber party.”

Ramirez says, “I can do small talk.”

You shake your head. “No you can’t.” You check the time. “Ah, we should head home. Got a long day ahead of us.” Everyone stands up. You pay the bill upfront and soon you’re out of the Quiznos and headed home in your tank. You yawn a bit. Night’s quickly approaching.

Lisa shakes her head, clearing her desk of trash. “Nah, why?”

“Just asking.”

Kitten bites her lip, looking around at all the trash. “You have a trashcan or a recycling bin or something?”

Lisa says, “Sure. It’s over there.” She points to the conspicuously empty bin.

Kitten nods and then picks up a piece of paper. “Right, I’m going to-“

“So, girls, Nancy. I was looking at William Adams and I noticed a couple of things.”

You begin to explain to Nancy what you found on William Adams. The kinds of tactics they use, and all that stuff. Nancy takes notes on all of it. Meanwhile, you shift through more of their roster and other highlights. This team has won quite a few regional tournaments and nationals as well. They’re very experienced.

They won’t be a tough nut to crack.

“No, I need that.” Lisa puts a huge stack of stained papers back on her desk.

“No you fucking don’t,” says Kitten. “How old are those papers anyway?”

Lisa checks the top page. “Uh… how along was 2007?”

“Seriously?” Kitten takes the stack, and immediately tosses it in the bin. Lisa bites her nails, whining. “There, that’s all you have to do.”

“But I might need that,” says Lisa.

Kitten wags her finger at Lisa. “Lisa, you’re not going to need Middle School math for an Academyship education.” Kitten walks over to the bed and almost retches a little. “Jeez. Look at these pillows. I’m surprised you haven’t caught any allergies.” Kitten picks up a sorry looking Bandaged Bear. “What about this-“

Lisa leans over, eyes full of hatred. “You put down Mr. Chuckles.” She growls. “NOW.”

Kitten immediately hands Mr. Chuckles to Lisa. “Okay,” she says simply. Lisa immediately takes it and clutches it like a baby, staring holes into Kitten.

You chuckle a bit. “You own a Bandaged Bear? Aren’t those for kids?”

Lisa puffs her cheeks, looking away and fuming. “I can be a kid all I want! I work hard damn it!”

You sigh. “Of course.”

Huh. Seems like there's no other river crossing besides the one going into town, without going beyond the combat zone boundary.

And I dunno if there's an area that can be forded by tanks.

Looks like the river is a greater obstacle than the hedgerows in this case. We'll just have to move fast, and hope the cruisers will get bogged down more than us.

Thanks as always for running this thread Schteel.

Using what little space is left, it's time for strategy! Or at least notable terrain features.

First, the place is almost completely flat. No hills, or at least not major ones. There are also numerous little roads and hedges everywhere.

The big thing is that there's only one bridge, red circle, across the river. There might be places you can ford across but I don't know where they are.
>>
>>29762703
>MFW, Schteel mentions offhand random things slowly accumulating as stowage on Cupid. Before long it has the equivalent of Schurzen, and the speed of the Churchill.

So, the Rifle Team is in a tank they don't care for that flings HE shells. Any way we can use that to net mobility kills on Cruisers either through direct fire or through landscaping?
>>
>>29762941
>>29762984
Hmm. Maybe we can use that to our advantage setting up killing field provided that there aren't any other fordable spots along the river. BTW, how does a cruiser tank's front armor fare against our mediums?
>>
>>29762941
>>29762984
So we will do the same thing we did with Ace?

Try to set up an ambush and if all else fails do the Alamo?

They might have studied us so that might not be viable.

They also come in packs of three and have long managed support.

might be tough.

We need to try to go for mobility kills as much as possible slow them down. Maybe try to take down them down one pack at a time
>>
>>29763160
Maybe we could study that one school that uses nothing but casemate tanks and tiered ambushes some more, get some ideas for tanking out one prong at a time.
>>
>>29763044
Not well enough. Especially at the bridge. If you look closely at the map in >>29762941
you can see there's a town around the bridge so they'll be fighting at point blank range there.

However, there's a problem. On their side of the river, there are two somewhat defensible locations, a castle and an abbey. They can hole up there and blast us with their guns while remaining fairly safe.
>>
>>29763215
kursk academy?

that might be a decent idea but predicting what they will do is important, and we can't really afford to spend CP on the tactics.

Their lightly armored probably to a point where even the Stuart has a chance up close, we need to mainly kill their speed and go for moblity kills
but considering the aces are the only ones to hit a moving target that may be hard.

maybe we can mess up the field, like dig trentches or speed bumsp?
>>

>>29763229
Damn it I forgot my pic. It's the blue circles.

>>29763160
Not really an ambush as this is way too obvious. It's more relying on a natural choke point to wipe them out as they come at us. Historically, tanks don't like choke points because if you take the lead one out, the rest can't get past and the whole thing goes to shit.
>>
>>29763229
But that is not Cruiser doctrine, Trude covered this again and again that their main tactics is to gain as much ground as possible.

They might do so if desperate enough but considering how lightly armored they are, it will defeat the purpose of their tabks,
>>
>>29763354
Not saying that's their plan, I imagine their plan is to seize the bridge ASAP before we can. But if we can get tanks into place before they can cross then they'll hole up in there rather than attempt a crossing.

Their guns are presently a bit stronger than ours so they can lay a barrage down and either force us back with superior firepower or at least cover their advance that way.
>>
>>29763296
>>29763296

Well, with them using fast cruisers, I would be more likely that they would reach the bridge first and we'll be face up against their guns, how would we deal with that if it happens?
>>
>>29763296
I forgot where we and they are starting at

however depending on the weather, we may need to take account of the river as a natural barrier, and will restrain the crusiers.
>>
>>29763433
We're NE and they're NW. We're slightly closer to the bridge but not by much.

>>29763423
Play hide and seek in the bushes. Technically speaking, there's another place to hole up behind the bridge but there's too many small roads they can infiltrate down and flank us by.
>>
>>29763296
>>29763229

This is reminding me of Wargame Airland Battle. What fun.

There is a pseudo offensive plan. The two roads marked in Orange are extremely obvious firing lines, D15 one more so than D147. Our M5A1 and Pz4, possibly the Panther too, are capable of matching the speed of the cruisers.

We can send them to immediately lockdown those roads and slow own our opponent significantly. The Chi Ha 120mm can also use indirect fire on D147. The rest of the team then uses the advantage gained to move into the castle and abbey ourselves and fortify down.

>>29763630
Yes, we are.
>>
>>29763745
Sounds like a solid plan but considering they go in groups of three it will be hard to predict where they will strike or might do a flanking maneuver.

I suggest indirect firing will be used to make craters to slow down their advance
>>
>>29763849
Oh you're worried about enemy movement? I got you covered. The castle still has fairly tall towers which are in good shape. just send someone up and give them some binocs while you're at it.
>>
>>29763957
Either we or the Souma should do this,

maybe the Churchill

We're command tank with a decent radio, Souma is the Flag tank, and the Churchill is slow so it might be left ot bodyguard duty
>>
>>29763745
Boy am I glad we have a smart anon with us. If not you, then someone remember to present this plan in tomorrow's thread.

So will we have to contend with hedgerows in any significant way?
>>
>>29764139
Maybe or maybe not, this plan mostly relies on roads.

I'm worried that their tanks will be euiped with the cutters in order for easy movement.

we probably need to go do another cookie run to supply our own and maybe upgrade a tank or two
>>
>>29764139
Perhaps, I can think of two scenarios.

The first will depend on our starting location. If we start in the fields then we need to move fast to stick to the plan so hedgerows will be a problem.

The second is if the plan goes to shit. If we lose the castle and abbey then lose the bridge as well, then we can't rely on defensive positions. There's way too much ground to cover without fortifications, natural, man made or otherwise and the Cruisers will outflank us at will. We'll need to jump in the bushes and hide and ambush then.
>>
>>29764251
Another problem is how we're going to deal with the flanking manuevers they might do.

c
considering they go in groups of three they might be in three groups, how do we deal with that?
>>
>>29764200
Cookies might be mined out for the time being. We just sold a shitton what, a day or two ago? Probably nobody is going to want more for a while. (Unless the girl in charge of hydroponics has an interest in crops other than corn) We might try parcel delivery again, with several drivers and our spiffy new truck to rack up some cash.
>>
>>29764662
I still think we should try the local academy ships, they are still available

Walter Christie, William Adams, and maybe Saunders if their still there might be good places to start
>>
>>29764662
Alternatively/In the future, we could try to arrange some kind of benefit concert with the Freshman girls as one of the primary acts, both to raise money and as a way of moving along their loyalty quest.
>>
>>29764718
In that case, we should bring our truck loaded down with either girl scout cookies or more appropriately British baked goods to sell the morning after the sleep over (can't remember which ship it's taking place on).
>>
Summarized the plan, will post it at the beginning of the thread tomorrow.

So spending priorities, assuming we find ourselves tight on extra income. About 6 sets of Hedgerow Cutters on our 6 most mobile tanks should be adequate, ya?
>>
>>29764608
What maneuvers?

There are 3 main approaches to the bridge, D147, D15 and D900. D15 and D147 are my highest concern as they're the most direct hence my emphasis on blockading them ASAP.

D900 is covered by the abbey which has easy LOS across it. Not 100% perfect, there's an annoying group of trees in the way but good enough.

A detailed plan as such is fast movers seize D15 and D147 approaches. Second line of tanks, our mediums, move into the abbey and secure LOS over D900. Finally our heavies move into the castle which covers the Northern approaches.

Once done, we can't be flanked. North has the castle, South has the abbey, West is also the castle and the East has the river with only one easy point to cross which we control. We have a spotter on the castle that can look for enemy movement.
>>
>>29764776
We can try in the morning tomorrow, so we can finish up the girl scout quest.

we need the money and if we raise enough, maybe get a conversion. hopefully,

I kind of want to upgrade the Chi-ha to something less shitty
>>
>>29764811
I see sorry, just worried about the bocages

but the spotter, will either have to the Churchill or the the Souma due to the latter being the flag and the former is slow
>>
>>29764811
However the fast movers include the Panzer 4, the Panther and the Stuart

ain't that a bit much for them to cover by themselves for two paths?
