Across the worlds connected by the sea of dimensions, many magic-using civilizations have thrived.
The era of large scale conflicts and weapons of mass destruction have come to pass.
The Time-Space Administration Bureau has brought order and peace to the remains of the Belka.
However, even in this era of peace, conflict still exists.
It is the year 81 of the New Calendar, and a revolution is coming. A cursed poison threatens to destroy the foundation of the modern world.
It all started with a book and a ring; this is the fated meeting between the boy, Tohma, and the cursed girl, Lily.
The Gospel of the Silver Cross Incident begins now.

How to roll:

NFQ uses the Simple Solo System, which means the quest uses a D100 as the base. I will count the first three rolls, unless stated otherwise and if any of them manage to obtain a number lower than the DC stated then it is a success.

100 is a critical failure and 1 is a critical success.
>>
Your name is Tohma Avenir and you are on a journey to bury your past.

Liar.

You are in Administered World #23: Ruwella. Over three fourths of the planet is a cultural reserve that holds several ruins from the Belkan period. Inside the preserve the use of both magic and technology is severely restricted.

You left the orphanage in Mid Childa six months ago to go adventuring before entering higher education.

You wanted to explore the world some more before deciding what to do with your life.
You wanted to settle some debts before mobbing on and forgetting those who you failed.

You are now heading to some ruin that you heard about from a fellow adventurer. With some luck you will find some loot and not have end up begging Su-chan for some money for a trip home.

That would be horrible.

Your only companion is Steed, a camera type intelligent device that helps to adventure. Su-chan gave it to you but you so far have used him to seek treasure and spy people.

As you approach the ruins, you…

>think about Su-chan.
>prepare with Steed for the exploration
>just head to the ruins silently.

That is right, Su-chan always said to be prepared for emergencies. All disasters can be handled if you are prepared beforehand.

You check your backpack, inside you have rations and water for a week, a tent, basic camping gear, some spare clothing and ropes.

Honestly, your magic handles most of the trouble camping, and you are fairly skilled at living of the wild life.

That is what you are skilled in, surviving and digging.

“Steed, can you remind me what we know about the ruins we are searching for?” You ask your device as comes out of your backpack.

[Buddy, have you really forgotten about this, I mean, you have read this 10 times on the way here. I know that you like that Librarian but there is a limit at being fan of his work.] Steed floats to you and shows you a holographic screen.

>[1/2]
>>
>>29775458
The ruins are a stone temple that predates even the Belka, the Librarian of the Infinity Library proposed in a thesis that this whole part of the planet had been of a colony of Al Hazard and was then occupied by a rival empire of Belkans. So far there is no proof for that sort of theory, but who knows.

The Librarian also theorized that there might have been some sort of secret dungeon to this area of the world, but so far most of the archeological society has ignored him.

Well you came here to help him prove his theory, and to make some money too.

You need to be smart to get to the loo-err to help spread scientific discoveries among the Dimensional Sea, so you can’t allow others to get ahead of you.

But luckily Vivio taught you a spell to help you with stuff like this. She said she learned it from her uncle in UW# 97 aka Earth. The name is something like Secret Special Technique, Grasping the Shadows to step across the world.

You like to just call it High Step. You never had time to practice it, but right now might be a good time to do it.

“Steed help me!” You gather mana into your legs, as you begin to prepare the formula for the spell with your mind.

[Roger] You link send the formula to Steed, who does the calculations for you as the effects begin to take form.

Silver Runes form on your legs, and your body shines with fabulous light prepare do the battle stance Vivio taught you for this.

Really it works, even if you feel ridiculous, your body just feel lighter, the magic negating you weight. Yes, if you do this then you won’t leave any marks for others to follow you nor make any sound.
>>
>>29776139
You prepare to walk silently, but just as you prepare to take a step, the magic fails and you crash to the ground.

[Tohma!] Steed rushes to you, inspecting you for any injury.

“Sorry, Steed, I think that I messed the spell when I sent you the request.” Or rather the spell looks like would have not worked, damn it Vivio. Did that girl just try to pull a prank on you?

You stand again, your body hurt and just decide to head to the ruins the normal way, while thinking on how to get even with that girl.

But it looks like you were not the first to get to these ruins. As you approach you notice signs of land movement and loud sounds, is there someone already excavating these ruins?

Past the hill are the ruins, but as you approach the sounds seem to get louder.

You stop and hide yourself on the hill as you ponder what to do.

You sneak along the ground like a snake, as you cut around the hill and reach a perch from which to see the Ruins.

As you peek from your secure high ground you see armed men and scientists moving around the ruins. They are loading computers and equipment into hover vehicles (aren’t those restricted inside this reserve) and they seem to be burning papers.

You see the gate to the ruin near you, and you could manage to get to it with no trouble without alerting the guards from your position, but what could those guys be doing. There might be some use of trying to check on them from a distance.

>Spy on the guys invading your loot.
>Head to the ruins.
>>
>>29776481
Steed is a non-combat civilian device, by law it is not authorized to know combat spells, except a basic one.

Touma being the avenger cheap adventurer he is worked to find an alternative.

He himself writes the formulas for the spells in his mind, and sends them to Steed to calculate, who then sends the answers to Touma who then does the spell.

This way they get around the restriction to combat spells.

“Steed help me take a look at them!” You hold the small floating camera over your head, trying to hide from the commotion going in the nearby temple.

[Roger, Buddy I am zooming in.] Steed takes quick snapshots in rapid succession before hovering back to your hands. [Here take a look Tohma.]

A holographic projection quickly appears, showing equipment that you do not recognize but something that you do. The guards are holding rifles, and just not any rifles but those are mass weapons, aka systems that do not rely on magic to hurt others.

The TSAB charter had prohibited the ownership of such things without a special permission (or had a someone smuggle you one) and was the cause of society concentrating on the use of magic.

[Buddy I think it might be better to leave this place, I think this might be too much for us to handle.]

“Yeah you are right, Steed.” If these guys are able to have these weapons, it might be better not try to bother them too much, they would have no trouble killing you.

You could not die there, it would make Su-chan and the others sad.

You could not die there, you had not avenged your family yet.

But before you leave…

A girl’s voice cuts through your head.

<PLEASE HELP ME!>

“Steed, did you hear it.”

[Eh, Touma what are you talking about.]

<PLEASE SAVE ME.>

Is this some sort of telepathy, if so, why can’t Steed hear it? Nevertheless you can hear the cry of help from a girl, which appear to come from the ruins that the scientists are in a rush to leave.

This girl is hurting, you feel her pain from her call for help, thus considering everything, you decide to…

The best way to do this is just to get rid of those guards.

You sneak behind the guard that is the most separated from the others, and aim. As you and Steed prepare the spell, you raise the mass of gathered mana in your palms to aim towards your target.

[Preparing Shoot Barret, correcting Aim, preparing acoustic dampening.]

“Execute!” The shot flied silently, striking the guard dead in the head and knocking him down silently (magic is non-lethal by nature).

As you reposition yourself behind one of the vehicles you can only see two more guards, however you do not think you can snipe them from your position, and no scientists.
You decide to….

You are a sucky mage, wait until you get the end of the secession for suggestions like that.

Right now you can check for items, and use your earth magic to bury the body.

Tohma is a civilian C-Rank mage (quite high for a random civilian), and is restricted by his low mana poll and not having a device that is combat ready. Steed can substitute for it, but it is not the same as having a S2U or a Raging Heart.

His specialities are magics that are related to running a mine, which he repurposed to become attack spells in the years he spent in the wild.

If you want to be aggressive, you could TK a tree at someone or cause a landslide.

You take the opportunity to move the body, taking care of check for items or access cards. However the tactical vest the guard has is hard for you to remove, so you just decide to check his pant pockets.

So far you have just managed to find:

A railgun rifle CW-X100, the design is weird but Steed appeared shocked when it read the code. You do not know how to use it and it weights too much to sneak around with it. The guard probably used some spell to enhance his body to use the heavy weapon, but sadly you know nothing that could replicate those effects.

A wallet holding some credits, you really needed this. But no IDs, why?

A topological map of the area/useless.

A Combat knife, far better than your camping knife.

You then take the items and bury the unconscious body in a shallow grave. If he wakes up he would be able to escape it with some difficulties.

The guards have not moved from their positions and staring at the items you have gathered, you decide to:

“Steed, thermal mode!” You take a moment to take your new combat knife in your hand and prepare a spell.

This is Heat End, a spell used to heat materials in mines, but here it has become a spell that allows your knife to cut through reinforced steel.

Hell the knife manages to respond well to the spell, it is sure a keeper.

[Themal Vision Set!] Steed sets up a holo-screen in front of your head, as he starts to show you a thermal image of what he captures. You manage to get to the guard, and with a quick motion you stab him in the back, piercing side (Su-chan would be sad if you killed, right?).

You might as well think of it as practice.

He lets out a loud scream, while you take the moment and stab the chest of the guard while the other guard in the right turns and aims at you. He is ready to fire with those shots that can can equal a tank from the earth.

(Vivio told me that they use metal monster to shoot steel at each other for sport... what a weird thing to think when you will die.)

“Guards hold him for a few moments, I will set up the Drone to help!” You hear a scientist from far away to your left. Drone, you might not be able to handle that.

Other guards appear to be moving to aid the first guard, but so far they have no clear shot at you.

Checking the new situation you decide to:
>Use a body shield and shoot the guard aiming at you.
>Use a Spell to shield you and attack the guard?
>Roll to the side and seek cover.
>Use the attack version of heat end! Show them the tempetures that can melt even steel. B-Rank Spell.

Your MAG Stat is 20, below average, but Steed and your experience with the spell some bonuses, also helps that you are finally getting closer to fulfilling your revenge. So the new DC would end up being 40, the guards lack any skills to counter your cast.

To be honest I had hoped you guys would enter the ruins first. I had planned this encounter with the stuff you would find there...

To be honest this spell equal what Starlight Breaker would equal to Nanoha. Kinda sad... even after so long your revenge means so little to the power of monsters.

The guard you stabbed is dead, I renamed the guards for the new map. Sorry for sucking at drawing so much, I just got the tablet and wanted to use it.

Here is a larger version of the pic, see if you can understand it better.

Oh I get it. I thought the 1 next to G1 was a 2, my bad.

>Use a body shield and shoot the guard aiming at you.

We take out G1 and then duck for cover before G2 shoots us.

You can hit G1 and G3 with the spell but alright.

You use the body of the dead guard as a shield, and faster than you think the first guard shoots you. A bullet with enough strength to destroy a heavy powered vehicle zooms by you as it his the dead body you had head on. The head is blown off cleanly, missing your shoulder along by the sole fact that the guard is taller than you.

But you take this opportunity to prepare a spell. Steed finishes the computation even before you blink and with a flawless skill you shoot your spell.

“Shot Barret: Barrage Shift!” The Mid Circle before you flashes, as it rains a hail of the basic magic missiles at the enemy guard knocking him down. Mid Magic won’t kill, because mages are those who use a staff to heal and protect.

Not, wasting time you move to your left, while steed goes ahead of you to capture more Intel. It appear that the second guard is moving towards the body of the first, while looking for you (while avoiding the panicking scientist that is on the ground near him). The third guard is standing protecting the scientists.

“Just hold the intruder at hand, we can send the drones to deal with him.” It appears there are no more guards and they must be waiting to use a machine against you… you have no time.

While taking cover you:

You move behind the pillar trying to sneak behind the third guard, reading your knife you heat it to prepare for the kill.

This is the only thing you really know, no matter how much Su-chan wishes for you to leave it behind you won’t.

After all, this the only way to was the sin that is called your weakness.

However while moving slowly to get near the guard one of the scientists spot you, drawing the attention of the two guards who quickly turn to aim at you. It takes a moment for their rapid fire railgun to turn at you and spew shells at speeds that would make any mage jealous.

It did not hurt, the first impact bisected your body, the second destroyed your left knee, the third pulverized your left shoulder and the fourth blew your right elbow.

It happened so fast there was no time for there to be pain.

You are nothing more than half a torso and a head connected to straps of meat that were once your leg.

You will die soon. Leaving your family and Su-chan.

You will die soon. Leaving your friends and Vivio behind.

You will die soon. Leaving your family unavenged.

You will die soon. Leaving that girl unsaved.

You will die soon. Having never lived as you wanted.

Please Teach Me, Curren-Sensei! 01

This is a strange corner that connect the world of NFQ and the world of /tg/, a place where peace can be given to souls that have been lost.

You find yourself in a class room, to be honest it is not unlike what you remember from your classroom in middle school.

“Welcome to the make-up classes for you little birds that have failed to make up the DC. This is your teacher, the best girl in this Quest and the original series, Curren Huckebein!” A little girl dressed as a teacher enter standing up in the main podium. She really was just his type, but her small stature and those tattoos she had ruined the image of a stern teacher he really liked.

“I have to congratulate you on landing here on the First Thread, and I mean you weren’t even supposed to land here if you had died in this first thread. I think the Vivid brats are sad about having to cancel all of a sudden, I heard they even had cute special costumes prepared for you.”

>[2/?]
>>
>>29782572
>I heard they even had cute special costumes prepared for you.”

>>
>>29782572
“Still, Touma, I have to say that I am proud of the way you have been acting so far this thread. I mean just fighting the guards and even killing one when you could have just sneaked pass them. That is the way to go.” You can’t say deny that, you fought because you wanted to test yourself against those strong opponents.

“Well the advice to give is simple, just reroll back and use your strongest spell and just kill all of them, civilians included!” The young girl, not even older than Vivio, gives her best smile as she suggests to just massacre all those soldiers, and the undefended scientists too.

“Come on, do not be like that, I mean, you enjoyed killing that man, right?” Curren added as she noticed your hesitation, “Plus those guys have done horrible things, although at this point you do not know that.”

“Wait big sis, do not be so hasty!” A sharp guy with glasses enters the room, he is the student council president- Fortis of the Huckebein, “there are plenty of ways to solve this non-lethaly. Tohma, your magic is based on the movement of earth, but it is not limited to attacking or defending. Use your magic to create walls to separate soldiers, or just bury them underground for a time.”

Fortis looks you at the eye as he adjustes his glasses, “The QM never gives you impossible challenges (unless in White Devil Mode), but you need to abuse all advantages to overcome all challenges non-letahly.”

Curren stares at Fortis shocked, as if betrayed by her family, which Fortis is actually (but you, Tohma do not know this in the main story). “Fortis, why are you telling him this, I want Tohma to join us, the glorious Huckebein family, that way he can become also one of the best characters in the series. Just like us!”

Fortis grimaces, making a pained expression as he counters, “ Sorry Big Sis, but we, the Huckebein Family are professionals. That means doing the job completely, even if we do not like it.”

>[3/4]
>>
>>29783162
Curren pales and falls to the floor defeated, as if hit by a Blaster 5 Starlight Breaker done by the White Devil herself. “You are right, Fortis. I guess this is the reason you are my second in command.”

Fortis spares his commander, as he turns back to you, “Touma, your actions affect your morality. Depending on how you act your outlook at life will change, or the way others perceive your actions. Please be more careful in the future.”

After Fortis finishes, Little Curren-sensei stands, giving you her full attention. “Still if you want to go on and just kill things like a muderhobo, I am fine with that. I mean, that is the way /tg/ likes to play, right?” Curren smiles at you in adoration, hoping to see you continue the path before you. “Come on, even if everyone abandons you, I would still make a place for you in my family, my little killer. “

Curren gives you a last smile as she pushes you out of the classroom, while she adds in the cutest voice ever "Still die a lot and kill a lot so you can come here tons of times! Have fun with me, Little Curren, Big Bro Tohma!"

[Touma one of the guards is aproching!] Steed gives you a warning as you prepare your next plan.

“Steed, lets use Earth Manacle!” The process is finished in a flash, real combat has improved your technique at casting spells with Steed. In a silent instant the second guard is caught in binds of solid stone, which constrict his gear and break some bones, just to make sure. Then the wall eats the guard, hiding him from all others.

You take a moment to summon an earth spike, making sure to pierce the gun before some idiot gets some fresh ideas.

The last guard comes out into the open, shaking and panicking as he aims randomly at all courners while you hide. From this point on the situation is simple, but you need to make sure that the drone does not get activated.

The soldier moves around still trying to find the phantom he himself had never seen, “I know who you are. You must be one of them. Those birds of calamity that carry the EC. Come out in the open you little killer, I won’t let you kill me like you killed my friends!”

You bury the guard to his head with a simple spell, there is no need to even ask Steed to help you. This is the spell you have known for all your life. Earth Move, the basis of all Earth manipulations spells in the Mid School. As a miner you had practiced this spell all your life in your hometown.

One day it would serve to rights all wrong in that hometown too.

You enter the ruins numbed, thinking about the bloodied knife you had in your hands. Today, you had killed a man, for a girl you had yet to meet.

But that sad voice… you had to help her.

You pass the hall with tubes, ignoring the fact that look like minced brains or just pieces of meat; or those names of persons that those tubes have. (Though Steed takes care of that for you).

You just continue your path, there is a meeting long overdue and a girl to save.

Your heat spell breaks the door to the final chamber, there crucified to a wall is a girl. You ignore her pale naked flesh. You ignore her silver hair and you even ignore her sad eyes that assault you.

That is not what is important, you can only stare at the tears of that girl, the girl that must be saved, just as Su-chan saved you.

She is crying her tears falling from her face, her body to the lifeless floor. You do not know what to do, but you remain silent as you come near her.

<Why did you come?> You feel the grief of that girl. To her this place be sad, lonely and extremely scary. This place has tortured in ways you do not understand, but seeing her you understand the reason she is crying.

Your head hurts it threatens to split from the pain of just being near this girl. This girl is dangerous, one day she might bring you ruin. She will lead you to your death if you do not turn back.

<I would have not minded that you had ran away. Even though I hate this place, I hate this life… above all I hate the fact that you risked your life for me!> the waves of telepathy (not really?) assault you as you finally stand before her.
Her sad eyes meet yours as she continues, <Why did you fight for me? You could have died there, for someone like me. Why did you kill that man? His life was worth more than mine.> The girl hates herself, she has only known this concrete cage all her life. This cage and the color red.

<I can’t give you nothing, I can’t bring you happiness. All around me just dies! I am a cursed person, one that will kill everyone near me.> Once you break her binds with magic she falls to the floor, crying even more.

After a while, she manages to speak, her voice is hoarse yet soft, the voice of someone that had lost the ability to speak in the madness, “Just leave me, before I kill you. Before you die like the others”

Before you is the girl who you wish to save, crying for you to save yourself, what do you do?

You lower yourself before her form on the floor, slowly you place your fight arm on her shoulder, helping her sit up, while your left slowly and softly turns her face to meet yours.

You could tell her all sorts of reasons of why you did what you did, but to you there is only one thing you have to say, “I saved you because, just like you I was once saved. That is why I wanted to save you, no matter how hard it be.” You say this smoothly, your emotions flowing openly to the girl before you, only once in your life you had been this clear to someone once before.

It had been in a duel to death.

The girl grasps for air, as she continues to weep more openly and you continue, “I won’t leave you alone, I won’t leave you to suffer. So I promise you I won’t die, and you won’t kill me. No matter how hard you try.” How funny, this has been the second time you had promised that to a cute girl.

That girl finally stops crying, before leaning towards you, her arms snaking around your waist and burring her face in your chest. <Thank you.> She had stopped crying, only to shake against you while you returned her hug. To this girl this was the first time she had touched someone, without the person dying To her this boy had been the only one that had not ended as red matter in the floor after meeting her.

To her the choice was clear. <If it is you, then maybe it would be okay…> Before you could respond to her, she whispered in her unused and unsure voice, “Engage.”

The last thing you see is a ring of silver form around your wrist, before you, the girl and the whole ruins are swallowed in a rain of warm and pure silver light.

A light that brought annihilation to all.

>Wise up!! 01: The Fate of that Blood!

Boy, it looks like you have met a terrible fate!

Having met that black book and that girl, you now have a harsh future ahead of you. Now in your blood is a “poison” that can destroy the very foundations of this world.

From now on you will not be stranger to conflict.

Some will hate you and that girl for what you represent, they will persecute you and try to destroy you until nothing remains.

Others will try to use you and the power you have gained to further their goals, and just discard you when you are no longer useful.

>[1/2]
>>
>>29786645
From now on you no longer have a place in the peaceful world that normal humans live on.

I guess this makes you and I are birds of the same flock, calamity ravens. But do not worry, as long as you carry the same hatred for the world as me and the same poison in your blood as me, I will help you.

Even if the whole world curses your name, I will protect you.

After all, you and I are family.

My little raven.

Is it fair to say that Blue Robin is for nice choices, Red is for more violent approaches, and Grey Eagle is... I got nothing on that one
>>
>>29786832
So, Renegade/Paragon/Neutral choices are go?
Though in this case, it seems to be TSAB/Paragon, Huckebein/Renegade...
>>
>>29786832
Close, but it more on paths on life.
Blue is for the ideals that Su-chan gave you, save lives and protecting others. A staff that heals and all that, the duty of the mage.

Red is living your hatread, fighting other opponents and living for yourself and your family first. The Huck path. A very egocentric path, but one that is worthy of the EC.

Gray Eagle... well that is the path of pragmatism... of a certain Hades.

>>29786903
They are not exactly a Renegade/Paragon divide, but yes. You are not confined to a single path, and you are encouraged to mix them as you please. Sometimes it can be needed.

Although the TSAB and Huck prefer certain paths for their main forces, they can also have people from other paths. For example Fortis is a strong Grey type.

Also, since this was such a nice thread, I will allow you to ask me a single question. This is a question that will not be redacted and can be about anything, mechanics, characters, etc.

The question can be on backstory too or other details.

Though, I can answer normal questions about the system and stuff. I plan to introduce parts of the systems as the thread go on, and so far I am using a base SSS for the game play.

Also can I ask you guys a question, what do you think of the thread so far, did you enjoy the quest?
>>
>>29787137
>>29787176

I see, so unless Spectral wants to take a crack at it would it be possible to save this particular boon for later?
>>
>>29787137
Shit man, I donno. I myself don't know much of anything of the setting personally. But knowing the mechanics better could be useful...
>>
>>29787248
>>29787224
If you guys want, I can save the question for a later thread, if you have a question on a mechanic, please ask it, though to be honest, we have not gotten the main plot device that defines many of the plot mechanics.
>>
>>29787332
I'm up for saving the OOC question.

As for mechanics, are you going to tie in our soon-to-be-revealed Eclipse Virus Infection rating into our rolls?
Like, say, Cosgrove's Bleach Quest tweaked its rolls through perks?

(nat 100s = Increased Infection Rate?)
>>
>>29787221
>did you enjoy the quest?

Hell yes. We did some stealth action, randomly jumped into a hopeless fight for absolutely no reason, I crit failed twice in a row on a D100, and we met our sad jesus waifu.

I still want to play on White Devil mode though.
>>
>>29787438
Hey, maybe if we hit the Huckebein Dojo enough times, we'll unlock an ingame option to go White Devil difficulty, just like in Devil May Cry.

... on second thought, that idea makes me scared.
>>
>>29787519
Wasn't it in that game though it would ask if you wanted to lower the level cause you were sucking so much though?
>>
>>29787556
Thought that was Ninja Gaiden?
>>
>>29787409
Infection Ratings will allow you to have more Dice, rather than roll just three dices for a DC you can 4, 5, 6 depending on a virus level. But if your Virus Level is too high, you might get DC penalties for Bloodlust, might be forced into Terminator Mode, or just end up like that meat in the tube you saw earlier.

Also you can buy normal skills with EXP points or improve your stats (was surprised no one asked for them).

>>29787519
Actually each path has a special Dojo for each of them. Blue Robing has the Kaisah Dojo, and Red Raven has the Curren-sensei sections. Grey has... die and find out.

>>29787438
I will ask the difficulty question on the next thread, to give you guys an idea of how hard was this match, even though I had planned this whole game on Fair, the match with the soldiers was on Forced Hard.

If you romance Vivio, the difficulty changes to White Devil Mode though.

>>29787438
I am glad you like it, will try to do another one that you can like.
>>
>>29787556
Right. Sorry, memory derped.
Failing too many times unlocks Easy mode in DMC.

At least this time, it's for extra masochism/sadism?
>>
>>29787629
>Do not worry, everyone makes mistakes.

Also if there are no question, I will get back to writing the interlude.

Prepare for the Holy Orders.

Grear quest! Makes me almost feel badfor being Merc/TSAB aligned.

But I don't!

Get a twitter Sniper. I wanna keep up on this.
>>
>>29788081
Sure, my tweeter is https://twitter.com/BelkanSniper, I am glad that you liked this Enforcer, your support allowed me to arrive here and host my own quest.

Do not feel bad about your aliments, in this quest you can try to join all sorts of factions, and may have to try to even force different factions to work together. That is part of the ride.

Though Curren-sensei would be sad if you did not join her side.

You see the wrecks of the ruins, the fire and smoke that cover the land, the injured are being attended by your fellow officers, and you continue the investigation.

Just 3 hours ago there had been a lab in this ruins, hidden by the ancient structure, but somehow these guys had gotten a permit to be here. The cause of the incident was simple really, a boy somehow had sneaked inside and stolen a hazardous material from the lab and now is on the run.

So simple it had ended destroying a whole mountain range. Now the TSAB would have to pay to rewrite the maps of the area.

The one to respond was the TSAB Dimensional Navy, led by the XV Claudia.

It had taken just three hours to clean the mess on the ruins and to save the survivors.

Sadly most of the equipment had been destroyed by the boy (or just made to disappear), and you had no way of knowing if the ones how had been running the show had been telling the truth.

You are Enforcer Mira Camrill, of the TSAB Dimensional Navy, serving in the Claudia and you will uphold your holy oath and pass judgment to all criminals.

No matter what.

You turn to the holographic screen showing the face of your superior, the one holding command of the XV-class Cruiser, the Claudia, the Admiral Chrono Harlaown.

This man was your hero, the youngest Admiral in the history of the TSAB, a man who had solved countless high class cases, and among you Belkans he held a special title… the Blue Breaker.

“I do not want to look at the Ferret’s face when he learns of what happened here.” He sighs as thinking about his friend, how nice! “Enforcer Camrill, report the preliminary findings of your investigation!” His tone is authoritative, leaving no room for nothing else but to follow his will.

But to you that is fine, you had lived your whole life as a Church Knight and expected no less.
“My Lord Admiral, we have no trace of the ones running these labs but I do believe that this might be related to the Eclipse” That name was the sole concrete data that you had managed to mine from the ruined equipment. “We do not have much clue of what really happened, but there seems that part of the equipment here was moved before we arrived.”

Chrono wanted to wince at being called a Belkan Lord, this would make someone at HQ think he wanted to do things he had no intention of doing. But there was no way to stop this stubborn Belkan, he rather liked that.
“I see, have you managed to find something from the survivors?”

“I am ashamed to admit that there is nothing I can do from that front, my Lord. We only had three survivors from a total of 50 that were reported as being here. So far all of them are in need of critical attention.” One had suffered class three burns and was in coma, another had loss over 40% of his body and was alive only by magic. The last had been crushed under rubble and the rescue team had just managed to pull him out.

Lady Carim had asked you to support Sir Chrono in his quest to bring order and peace to the world and you sure would do it, no matter what.

“Enforcer, are there no other leads you can follow?” That explosion had been enough to destroy a whole mountain range, if whatever did that was released inside a city, it would lead to countless deaths.

“The only thing I have found so far is a fragmented video, featuring a young boy attacking the guards and entering the base, it was help by the corpse of one of the scientists we have unburied, my Lord.” The video was heavily damaged, and if the Knight had another option, you would have preferred using something else as a lead.

But the ease he had managed to defeat those enemies in the video told you something, that boy was strong.

At least AA-Rank.

“A boy…. It matches the last feed the Claudia managed to recover from that area, please check this out.” The Admiral transmitted the data to his mage, and in an instant another holo-screen opened, showing a zoomed photo of a young boy and a barely covered girl leaving a familiar crater.

The crater you were standing on now.

“I understand my orders my Lord, Enforcer Camrill moving out to exterminate!” This was your target, the cause of the destruction, your enemy.

Your goal was clear.

“Wait Enfo-“ Whatever the Admiral might have wanted to add was cut off, the you had your orders and you would complete them.

“In the glory of the Saint Kaiser and the honor of my Lord,” you started your oath as you stared at the captured image of the boy and the girl, capturing every detail in your mind, “I swear that I will capture criminal scum, no matter if I have to follow you to the ends of the Earth.” The oath of a knight was their life, and you had no intention of dying now.

Your holy spear will pierce that boy without fail.

Thanks for the interesting quest.

This has also made me try rereading the Force manga from the start, just to recall what happened back then.
>>
>>29789263
I am glad you liked this, I placed tons of effort to try to get it going just as I wanted. I want to thank to the players who stayed with me and allowed me to tell them my story.

I like the FORCE manga, but many people dislike it, so read it at your own discretion. Though, I have to say that I am basing my ideas on the manga, and I will throw the players curve-balls if they just expect that the events that happened in the manga to happen in the quest.

Also I hope everyone enjoyed this secession. If anyone has questions, please ask me.
>>
>>29789225
That was a good start
also you have excellen-t taste in mecha
>>
>>29789482
That joke.... was too good. Now I want to do a ATX quest here, just to see if /tg/ can handle Excellen.
>>
Interesting system.
>>
I wonder if we can pick up a summoner somewhere.
>>
>>29797692
If, you ever get around to a world with one, sure!
Or, you could try recruiting Caro.
