So you have all your mashing and campfire materials. What do you want to do first? Light a fire so it'll be fully ready to go when you nab the crab? Or go bash the crab in before it gets away?
>>
REMOVE CRAB
>>
>>29996696
Find a large, flat rock, and lure the crab onto it. Then bash the crab. Once we've got it, we can take our time starting the fire.
>>

In case you missed it:

There's the first thread. Fortunately, this one has text in the OP, so it should be easier to find.

Unfortunately the only rocks you can use are either waaaaaaay past the crab or in your little pile.

and you honestly can't think of a way to lure the crab since seducing it is out of the question.

If you're going to do something other than hit it with a rock you're going to have to get crafty with what you have.

Pull down a frond from the palm tree. Shred it to make some rope. Make a stone axe or stone hammer.

You leap up and grab ontp the big palm tree leaf (atleast you asume thats what a frond is) and grab ahold. You're alittle light to be able to pull it down but I bet with enough bounce you'll get it down.

Now the problem you're going to have is your sticks aren't big enough to hold the hammer head. You might have to hit the jungle after all.

You'll just get to work on the rope while you think it over.

So far your ideas are :
Make a Hammer or axe, which requires you to set into the jungle
Start the fire
Smash a crab
>>
>>29998828
Let's just do the smashing first, see if we can do it with just a rock.

If not, try flipping the crab over with a stick.

>>
>>30000192
Okay, now to start a fire to cook it.

The first step is to put a pile of dry sticks in a ring of stones. I think you've got that part taken care of.

You've got at least a short rope, right? Find two flexible sticks, one straight and one very slightly curved. Tie the string to both ends of the curved one; make a small loop in the center and put the straight stick through the loop. Then, you can move the curved one back and forth to rotate the straight stick. Place its tip in the center of the pile of twigs and do that rapidly to heat it up using friction. Be sure to protect your hands when you're holding it.

The foot prints are easy to see but they come from the jungle and lead back into another part of it. I guess your battle with the crab was loud enough to cover up the fact that someone came and went.
