You are Smith Sterling, the Iron Master! An early attack on Kronos has gone well, but it is as-yet unclear whether or not your plant on Team Blue, Kestrel, will be discovered. Though the magical spike which contained evidence linking her to you was shattered, it is possible the evidence can be verified anyway. Making matters worse, the LAPD has been directing the brunt of its attacks against you ever since the demise of your longtime rivals, the terrorist organization Chimera which had previously been considered the greatest threat to the city.

I believe when last we left off the plan was to track down and kill Asrael.

Also, because I am terrible at archiving threads now, here is a link to the last thread, which itself has a link to the thread before that, in the foolz archives. Hopefully I will remember to archive this thread:

Bump

Perhaps I should start running these later. They never seem to go well for the first hour or so.
>>
>>30099425
We need to take down Asrael now. We should definitely keep up our campaign to expose Kronos as the Team Black asshole he is, but Asrael takes precedence for the moment.
>>
Asrael's got a gang, right? Any way we can take them out and plant evidence to make them think he betrayed them? Cut off his support, track him down, corner him in one of his hiding places somewhere, then have the cops come after him. Make sure he dies in the crossfire, along with several cops. Takes care of him and our police problem in one swoop. Though on second thought, his gang is in a different territory... Well, I suppose we could weaken that area, then snatch it for ourselves or an ally.

Of course, that plan will require a lot of intel regarding his gang, how trusted he his, how he always manages to slip away, and precisely where he likes to hole up. It would be also be difficult to corner him with how slippery he is...
>>
>>30099953

Right. That begins with an investigation, and if anyone can track down the elusive Asrael, it's Red Death. That man is like a bloodhound, and he's got a decent chance of actually winning if things turn into an ambush, too.

Unfortunately, luck is not on Red Death's side today. As he's following leads provided by the Santos Espada (sometimes extracted with a bit of force) through Eastside, Asrael ambushes him. Red Death leaps out of the way of a single bolt of white fire, but when he turns to confront his attacker, he is gone. After that, the trail runs cold.

He does have an action left, though. He could try again.
>>
>>30100082

Depends on what exactly you mean by "gang." He's got a few muggle friends who help him out, but they're as well-hidden as he is. Asrael has occasionally been known to work with the Santos Espada, but even then only because most of them are terrified of him, so it's easy for him to "persuade" them to help out with mutually beneficial operations. For the most part, Asrael works alone.

Also, keep in mind the LAPD has several thousand police officers. Los Angeles is big. A few random police casualties aren't likely to put a big dent in their operating ability.
>>
Is it possible to try and frame Chimera for what we did?
>>
>>30100201

Probably, but it tends on which "what you did" you're talking about. As a supervillain, you have done rather a lot of heinous deeds.
>>
>>30100160
Try it again, RD.

RD IS Deathless now, right? So it don't matter too much if he dies a couple of times hunting Asrael, as long as his body doesn't get TOO fucked up that we can't fix it and he loses the superpowers in it.
>>
>>30100280

Nevermind, misread the OP.

We don't want to frame Chimera for planting an agent in team blue, it'll just put ours at risk.
>>
>>30100396
That reminds me. Can we get a character sheet for Kestrel? Or is she not loyal enough to us to be considered a minion, and as such her stats continue to be secret?
>>
>>30100445

Surely if we hired her, we know her skills? If she turns into a triple agent, all the better since we know what she's good/bad at.
>>
>>30100357

Correct. So long as nobody finds his phylactery (which, like all the phylacteries you've created, is just a generic robot part) and no one takes great pains to retrieve and hide the body (unlikely), you'll be able to keep bringing him back again and again and again whenever you have the 3 resources to spare to Cancer serum his body back into one piece.

And you know what's ironic? Red Death is consistently beating Asrael on the roll where Asrael has the advantage, but keeps the failing the roll where he has the advantage. Regardless, there's no trace of him. Red Death can't find the slippery bastard this week.

>>
>>30100556

Not quite that early. But yes, early on /tg/ decided they wanted to turn a hero to the dark side and picked Kestrel because they figured a teenager would be easier to manipulate.
>>
>>30100616
I was actually one of the ones who decided on Kestrel!

Also, on her sheet, did you forget to put Deathless on there? We brought her back after Swordsman offed her. Do we have her phylactery or did we give it to her?
>>
>>30100678

Oh, yeah, I forgot to add that on. It's been fixed in my notes now. Odd that it wasn't there, since the flight and strength upgrades happened later, you'd think I would've caught it then. Oh, well.

She has her phylactery, but it's in her apartment, which you control, so you basically also have it.
>>
>>30100731
Right. Ok, RD is out of Actions, right? If not, set him on Asrael again. If he is, set Rica on him. She's Deathless too, and even less attached to her body than he is.

Do we have any territories without sets in them? I see w don't have any Resources. Unless there's anything more important to do, the IM and Julio should both do a couple of heists to help raise funds.
>>
We lost a set in previous thread. Lets replace it. It was an expensive Elite set. Don't think we should dole out that much money, perhaps a worker set to regain profits?

We don't have anybody left who could track Asrael, so lets suppress police. I suggest we spend most if not all of our actions between MC and henchmen to suppress the police. They are a bother.
>>
>>30100808
>If he is, set Rica on him.

Rica can't do track him, her stats are not good enough. The only one who has any chance at tracking Asrael is RD

>>30100918
Wait, I almost forgot. We should set our bots to constantly monitor some of the heroes (like Kronos) so that we have a forewarning if they decide to attack and can quickly mobilize our troops to defend our sets
>>
>>30100808

Rica can try, but her odds of success are fairly slim. You need a pretty monstrous Observation to track down someone with Stealth like Asrael.

>>30100918

You already have, it's why you're basically out of cash.

Do you want to have Rica try and track down Asrael anyway?
>>
>>30100983
Nah, it's a waste. Let's have Rica, Julio, and IM all take a crack at some heists to raise cash.

Unless there's something we can do to help further the plans to turn Kestrel to our side? She's working with us, yes, but she's still wary, and doesn't take orders, just suggestions.
>>
>>30101046

People have been wondering about ways of turning Kestrel to the dark side pretty much since the start of the thread. I basically see two ways you could pull it off: Figure out what her more selfish desires are and tempt into crossing some kind of line that will make her think of herself as Team Red, or find some way to persuade her that Team Red is better for society than Team Blue and, again, convince her to cross some kind of line in pursuit of that greater good.

Regardless, the next step in the corruption of Kestrel is definitely in persuading her to do something more extreme than what she's done before.

Also, I don't think we agree on whether to rob for cash or suppress police for security, so let's everyone roll a d20, highest roll wins.
>>
Rolled 4

>>30101137
I'm changing my mind from going for loot to suppressing the cops. We need breathing room more than cash, and our sets bring in good money anyway.

Idea. Maybe once we've gotten the world against Kronos, we can tag-team him with Kestrel, and convince her to make the kill? Be a strong 'crossing the line' moment. Then we show her the perks of being on our side of the law.
>>
Rolled 2

>>30101137
fuck the police
>>
>>30101251

Rica and Julio set about suppressing precincts, leading your gang in a shadowy assault on the good cops. With intimidation and the occasional assassination, the Rancho Palos Verdes precinct is soon suppressed.

What follows that, however, is a whole mess of leading one set after another on attacks on the Manhattan Beach precinct. You're barely able to make a dent, while police reprisals weaken a number of your sets. This precinct isn't going down so easy.

You don't have any particularly effective combat sets left in Palos Verdes, but you could lead a personal assault on the precinct. It would be a tad risky, but now that you have bots watching all the heroes, you can just bail if they should arrive to support the police, and it's possible you'll be able to suppress an additional precinct this turn, denying the city valuable income and ensuring that one more neighborhood is safe from the attacks of the precincts.

>attack the precinct personally?

>>
>>30101137
>igure out what her more selfish desires are and tempt into crossing some kind of line that will make her think of herself as Team Red

Wait, does that mean we can use INVESTIGATE action to do this? Which one of our characters is more likely to uncover some dirt on her?
>>
>>30101526
yeah, lets try this

we have a battle morph for this, right?
>>
Rolled 4

>>30101602
Probably us. I know I ain't giving that job to RD, though Rica with their high Stealth might managed it... but I'd rather not give her that job.
>>
>>30101602

Investigate won't help in this case, because this information isn't really stored anywhere the way that a hero's secret identity or hideout is. Basically, that is a matter of pure roleplay. Talk to her, and see what she responds to. Preferably in such a way that doesn't make it obvious that you're trying to convert her.

>>30101562
>>30101625

You launch two separate attacks on the precinct over the course of the week, in each case focusing mostly on property damage. Blowing up the evidence room and destroying patrol cars is going to do a lot more damage than offing a few easily replaced officers. After your small army of robotic minions strike, they fade back into the streets. You suffer a few losses in the ensuing running gun battles, but the damage is not significant and in any case, bots and mechs alike are expendable.

But the troublesome precinct is still afloat. Just barely, granted. Julio has an action left. You could have him try to subvert the set, persuading the police to give up rather than blowing up their toys or killing their leaders. Or he could bribe the survivors into just forgetting to rebuild. That would cost your sole remaining resource, but it comes with the advantage of guaranteed success.

>what should Julio do?

Julio discreetly hands out a few briefcases full of cash. The precinct quietly decides not to bother with rebuilding their forces or doing much of anything.

Red Death has spent the entire week hunting fruitlessly for Asrael. "So far as I can tell, that man's a ghost," he says after the seventh straight day of poor luck, "unless he's the kind you can contact on your machine, we're out of luck."

"Oh, I've found him," you respond.

"What? He IS a ghost?" Red Death asks.

"No," you say, watching the camera feed on one of the bots keeping tabs on Kestrel, "but I've found him..."

Kestrel has been flying aimlessly around the city, climbing and diving for the Hell of it. Taking a lunchbreak between her aerial acrobatics atop one of the highest skyscrapers in the cityscape, Asrael has suddenly appeared behind her. "Hello, Kestrel," he says, and Kestrel leaps to her feet to confront him. "I'm not here for a fight. White Mage has contacted Kronos about the shards of that spike."

"And?" Kestrel asks.

"And Kronos hasn't passed the details on yet. What do you think he's going to say?"

"Probably it's some piece of junk, or a trap. I dunno," Kestrel says.

"We both know that isn't true," Asrael says.

"Why are you here?" Kestrel asks.

"To give you your last chance to choose a side, rather than having one chosen for you," Asrael says, "once Amp and Behemoth hear the truth, I imagine they may feel a bit...Betrayed. But all that matters to me is that the city wins in the end, I don't care whose fault is whose. Defect back to our side and I'll make things go your way."

>So Asrael's confronting Kestrel. wat do?
>>
Rolled 8

>>30102126
Oh fucking shit fuck. We need to remind her who Asrael is. He's Team Black, a tried and true cape killer, and if she doesn't answer how he wants, he'll probably kill her and try and keep it quiet. And Kronos is no better. If Kronos has evidence of her actions and that she's not as Blue as the sky, he'll probably kill her even if she can keep Asrael from doing it.

Dispatch Red Death to deal with Asrael if at all possible too. We can't risk going ourselves without possibly being seen helping Kestrel by other Blues. Offer our help, though. Make sure she knows we're more concerned for her well-being than we are about people finding out.

...I am going on the assumption she's still got the wire/earpiece/whatever that lets us communicate with her without being heard, like back in the meeting.
>>
>>30102126
Tell her nigga is bluffing. Kronos would never contact Asrael before other superheroes

Don't engage Asrael. Might be another trap. We shouldn't send any minions or robots there.
>>
>>30102274
>Dispatch Red Death to deal with Asrael if at all possible too

I think it is known that RD is working for us. Making any moves against Asrael right now will pretty much solidify the fact that Kestrel is working with us. We cannot send any reinforcements for her before they engage in battle, after they do, then we wait a bit and then send troops. That way they can think that we noticed Asrael through police chatter/media/hidden cameras/etc
>>
>>30102274

Yes, she still has the wire, so you can communicate. Seems as though there's a disagreement as to whether to send reinforcements, though. Roll for it?
>>

>>30102322
It's more well known that RD has been after Asrael for a very long time. RD showing up could be written off as RD taking any chance he can get when Asrael shwos himself.
>>
>>30102126

Can we bring the team? RD, Rica and even show up ourselves?

I think we stand a decent shot persauding her in person. Asrael is basically trying to blackmail her and we've been a lot better to her than anyone else.

Alright. The dice have spoken. You are sending the Red Death.

"So what, you're threatening me? Why would Kronos tell you he'd gotten word from White Mage but not say what it was?" Kestrel asks.

"Oh, he didn't," Asrael says, "I'm observing his phone records. He got a call from White Mage. What else are they talking about?"

"I think you're bluffing," Kestrel says.

"Even if I am, you'll have to choose sooner or later, Kestrel. The Iron Master is a tyrant and a murderer, he destroyed Palos Verdes, slaughtered hundreds at Harbor City. He doesn't care about the city. He just finds it convenient to pretend. What are you going to do once he's won? Watch while he plunges the city into poverty one block at a time so that he can grow his prostitution ring, gets in touch with Daimyo Okata's old human trafficking contacts to buy up cheaper girls, and every day as it gets just a little bit worse, make up some justification to yourself that it's really not so bad? Then you really will be Team Blue."

"What do you want me to do? You think he gave me a button that lets me kill him and destroy his whole empire or something?" Kestrel asks, "even if I were working for him, it's not like I could just turn around and destroy him."

"You can tell us where his workshops are. His factories. The Iron Master requires infrastructure to operate, we all know it. Don't fool yourself Kestrel, you have the power to destroy him, and if you don't now you will always know, every day that he rips out this city's soul, that you could have stopped it."

"And I'm just supposed to take your word for it? You're a murderer," Kestrel says.

"So are you," Asrael says.

"I told you, it was self-defense. I didn't even have my powers, someone was going to kill me, it wasn't my fault."

"I believe you on the first part. But don't pretend it wasn't your fault, Kestrel. It may have been justified, but you knew what you were doing and you did it anyway, didn't you?" Asrael asks.
>>
>>30102949
>Asrael being pissy that we are providing employment opportunity to otherwise workless girls
What an asshole
>>
>>30102949

"What's your point?" Kestrel asks.

"We kill people because we must. I've done it and so have you and so has everyone on Team Blue. In this city alone, hundreds of lives are claimed by super brawls every year, and if they were really fighting for the city the battle would've been over one way or another a long time ago. If they had the courage to accept that the fight might kill them, then innocent bystanders would not be dying in their place every week."

"If we all ignored the rules of engagement like you, it'd start the supers war, nobody wants that," Kestrel says.

"Start? Hundreds of people die and you think the war hasn't started? It has started. It is ongoing. The only people protected from the war are those with powers. Everyone else can and will be killed. Kestrel you can keep rationalizing all day. How much comfort will those rationalizations give you when the Iron Master turns this city into a sweatshop? Turn around now. You'll be glad you did later."

>anything in particular you'd like to say to Kestrel during all this?
>>
>>30103022

The girls were employed before you imploded the economy to manufacture more women willing to work brothels. I really haven't been subtle about how ruining neighborhoods makes the standard of living objectively worse for the people living in them, and the Iron Master decided to do it anyway because it was profitable.
>>
>>30103044
Details, details

>>30103029
Tell her that he is simply trying to justify his own crimes. No one goes around willingly killing people but with the powers the supers have, accidents happen. One cannpt be everywhere at once and save everyone once things are tumbling down.
Asrael on the other hand, goes out of his way to murder people and that is not okay.

Don't know what else to say. Pretty sure her telling our factories positions doesn't really help them since those things are even mentioned in the game system. I guess we can build and move new workshops on the fly. Also, we do not need sweatshops, everything i automated.

Question, do we have her lychantropy (or whatever is is spelled like)?
>>
Rolled 16

>>30103109
I can agree with that. Note that we go out of our way to avoid killing people, but things happen, especially when people who don't care as much get involved. And Asrael? He's someone who goes out of his way to murder and end people.
>>
>>30103044
If the ASSHOLES would let us be, then we would gather some money to open banking business and slowly build every area we own into Robbery districts. +3 from robbery and +7 from bank = 10 resources from each set, am I calculating this right?
>>
>>30103137
Didn't we go out of our way to prevent chemical spill or something like that in the past?

>>
>>30103137

Question: Are you intentionally lying to try and persuade Kestrel, or have you actually forgotten that you've been busy assassinating police officers for the past week? I'm really hoping for the first one but I can't shake the feeling that you believe what you're saying.

Let's not. If she ever found out it'd be HUGE trouble, and would blow everything we've been working for on the 'get her to trust us and work with us' thing.
>>
>>30103296

"Asrael's a murderer, Kestrel," you say, "not just a killer, a murderer. He goes out of his way to solve his problems with killing. That's the difference between us and him."

Kestrel is silent. She opens her mouth to say something, changes her mind, closes it. The long pause is broken by the arrival of Red Death. He leaps from a nearby rooftop, and rolls snake eyes, crashing stealthlessly into the ground a solid twenty feet behind Asrael. Asrael, however, also rolls snake eyes and just kind of zones out completely while looking towards the sound of the commotion, and doesn't regain focus until Red Death's staff smacks him in the face. He staggers backwards and drops to a fighting stance. "We will never speak of what just happened to anyone," Asrael says.

"Agreed," Red Death says, and attacks.

>anything you want to do during the fight?

>>30103296
>Let's not. If she ever found out it'd be HUGE trouble, and would blow everything we've been working for on the 'get her to trust us and work with us' thing.

Obviously, but I just want to know all our options.

For future important gadgets, could we implement such a thing?
>>
>>30103597

You could, by creating some remote-release acid gadget and hiding it on her phylactery which, like all the others, is a random piece of junk lying around your workshop (it was decided that having some kind of personal momento be your phylactery is a bit obvious). She might figure it out, though. Also, worth noting that destroying her phylactery won't actually kill her, just lock her into the body she's in at the time. Unless she's between bodies, in which case it will actually kill her. Regardless, Kestrel's not like Rica or Julio, she basically never leaves her own body anyway.
>>
Rolled 17

>>30103576
>"We will never speak of what just happened to anyone,"

Beautiful.

While they fight we talk to Kestrel. We explain: We do not like hurting people. We do bad things, yes, but in the end, we've done just as much good. We've gone out of our way to avoid disasters, even helped stop them. We've dealt with things that would have killed indescrimenently, like Cancer, and taken down organizations like Chimera. We've even been on a campaign to improve neighborhoods under our control, even though we've done things like take on the cops or slaughtered other gangs to put them under our control in the first place.

>>30103667
We should reeeally really really avoid messing with her phylactery. It'd fuck with everything we've worked on to get her on her side. Also, it miiight make us Team Black.

Herp. I forgot to add, while elevating ourselves, we should speak poorly of them. Like how Asrael is an out and out murderer. So is Kronos. There are some decent members on team Blue, like Amp and Behemoth, but even they are ready to turn on their allies, on Kestrel, when even a bit of evidence against her is raised.

Raised by a Team Black like Asrael, no less.

We aren't a good guy, no. We do bad things, yes. But we are the best option.

Mechs? Henchmen?
>>
>>30103809

Kestrel knows. She keeps hers in her apartment, in a blastproof safe along with what appears to be a bunch of other junk. Her official cover story is that the only valuable thing she had was her suit, which needed to be more accessible, but she got kind of excited about the safe when she first moved in and just stuffed a bunch of random junk in there just so she could use it for something. No one's actually asked, because most people don't look in her safe, but that's her cover story if anyone ever does.

No, the winning roll said to only send Red Death.

Regardless, he's doing pretty well. He strikes Asrael's knee with his staff, and Asrael half-drops with a groan of pain, and then Red Death follows up by a blow to the head. Asrael rolls to his feet, wincing as his weight shifts from the bad leg to the good, and begins to summon his white fire, only to have his hand smacked with the staff and the fire dissipated. Red Death jabs the staff towards his stomach, but Asrael vanishes. A moment later he reappears behind Red Death, punching him from behind. Red Death screams in pain as something pierces his skin, and then Asrael vanishes again, leaving Red Death behind, bleeding but not badly. "He can't have gone far," Red Death, says, attuning his incredible senses...Somewhere close is a weakened Asrael, and if Red Death can catch him, this game of cat and mouse ends right now.

Kestrel watches. Stares, really. She seems kind of zoned out.
>>
It's then that you get a couple of incoming reports. A police boat has sent divers into the Pacific Ocean for some reason, your men on Catalina Island report. This isn't at all usual police activity, and your phylacteries are hidden down there, deep in various crevices. Except Kestrel's, at least. She wanted to hang onto hers. But how could they possibly have located them? They are tiny pieces of junk hidden in the vast southern California coast. They can't actually be planning to sweep the entire coast? How did they even know to look underwater in the first place?

Regardless, the second report is that Julio is dead. Temporarily, at least. A driveby killed him while he was making his usual rounds, and they're currently hunting down the attackers, who appear to have been part of Asrael's little club.

Red Death, meanwhile, is unable to locate the fleeing Asrael. What he can see is Kestrel, which is neat, because she just switched off her comms with you. She just walks towards the edge of the building she's on and falls off. She's in freefall about halfway to the ground before she activates her lifters and flies off.

>wat do?

PHYLACTERIES YOU FOOL! GET THEM THE FUCK OUTTA THERE.
>>
>>30104149
>>30104149
send some stealth mechs to see what the police boats are up to. Does anybody else know we put them there besides us?

>turns of comms
I sure as he'll hope you don't mean we cannot track her and listen and see through her camera. We are tech genius I don't believe we didn't make it possible to continue taking without her knowing.
>>
>>30104239
dammit man
don't have a knee-jerk reaction. That will show them that we have something valuable there. Let's hack into their database/comms/whatever and try to figure out why they ate there
>>
>>30104262

You can track her. She just isn't talking to you.

No one but you and the minions in question know where the phylacteries are.

>>30104239

How, exactly?
>>
Rolled 9

>>30104262
Yeah. That's sorta a basic thing. The ability to turn back on any of our systems that get turned off. Without the carrier knowing to boot.

>>30104315
Yeah, sorry, I panicked. Point stands, find out what the fuck is going on there. We cannot risk the phylacteries, especially with Julio between bodies. Send some stealth bots to recover them if we can, and figure out what the fuck the boat is doing.
>>
>>30104342
Julio should posses somebody ASAP.

I don't think we have a way to tell him to do that, but if we do, DO SO.

You crack into police communications. It isn't hard, but it's not entirely clear what the police boat is actually after. What IS clear is that they're looking for something, that the divers can see it even from very far away, and that it's considered important that they retrieve it quickly. You send a team of stealth bots to go get a visual, but it will take them some time.

Meanwhile Asrael destroys one of the stealth bots watching Behemoth at the same instant as he appears next to him, then fires a bolt of fire at one of the others, destroying it as well. Behemoth is ready for a fight, and he's not sure if it's with Asrael or his targets or what. "Bots," Asrael says, "Iron Master's watching you. Think that was all of them." Fortunately, he's wrong; he's missed one. "I'm bringing one of his minions to you, get ready for a fight," he says, and then takes to the skies in a bolt of white fire. He's easy enough to detect as he streaks out towards the ocean, but being airborne does make attacking him a bit tricky. Red Death starts heading towards his position anyway. He has to come down sooner or later.

>want to do anything in particular, or just observe and see what happens next?
>>
>>30104657
can we reinforce RD with mechs and robots? They could act as distraction and cannon fodder if nothing else during the fight. ALL the free mech we have.
>>
>>30104657
>that the divers can see it even from very far away, and that it's considered important that they retrieve it quickly

can't be our pylancetries, they are smaller than that. But whatever it is, we don't want police getting it.
We should steal it once they get it out.
>>
>>30104824
or maybe they are and they have magic goggles to detect them?
Op, can we determine through the comm chatter if it is something that needs several people to move our just a thing one can grab?
>>
>>30104930

Only one diver is being sent to recover each one, but it's unclear whether they're retrieving it by hand. The boat does come with a magnet and winch, although it's not currently deployed.
>>
>>30104971
okay
now that's a reason to be worried

can we send or posteen bots? Blow up the boat just in case.
Or can we get the stealth bots closer and plant bombs?
>>
>>30104741

Oh, yes, this. You can certainly send your mechs, but your bots won't be able to get there in time, and in any case most of them are tied up observing heroes or investigating police boats right now.

In any case, Asrael heads out towards the patrol boat at top speed, but stops halfway there and instead just sends a ball of fire to vaporize your stealth bots on the way to investigate. They have, themselves, acquired a boat to get out faster (if they tried to swim or walk through the water, it'd take them much, much longer), and neither them nor the boat survives. Asrael begins heading back towards the coast, still blazing with fire.

Red Death and the mechs who've arrived to support him are already headed to intercept Asrael. From your stealth bot, you can tell that Asrael is leading them straight towards Behemoth.
>>
>>30105100
don't fall into the trap I guess

anyone else we can send to improve our odds? Or do something? Going personally doesn't seem like a good idea
>>
>>30105172
also
it seems like asrael is involved with the boat. If RD loses Asrael while avoiding the trap, he should go to the boat
>>
>>30105172

You've still got Rica.
>>
>>30105260
Are her stats high enough to even hope to do something?
I guess we could send her to the boat.

Do phylancentries ping on magic radar?
I still think this is some kind of a red herring
>>
>>30105378

You've upgraded Rica quite a bit. She might not be a match for Behemoth or Asrael on her own, but she can definitely contribute. In Asrael's case, if nothing else she can absorb some of his attacks and thus waste some of his power points.
>>
>>30105378

Oh, also: What "magic radar?" There's not really any such thing as a magic radar.
>>
>>30105523
alright send her to back up RD. Tell her to be careful

>>30105634
some kind of device, magical, technological or a mix of two, which can detect magical shit.
Divers wouldn't be able to see the small robot parts from far away unless they have something that can highlight our pylancetries.

Anyway I'm of to sleep. seems everybody else is gone too
>>
Indeed. I'll end the thread here, actually go and archive it this time, and tomorrow we shall confront Asrael's latest scheme.
