OP, I waited for you yesterday

for like 4 hours

Yes. Sorry about that. I was unexpectedly away from the computer most of the day.

pls make tweet announcement next time

This quest got me hooked for some reason.
At first I was skeptical about the revival and barely participated but then I started having fun and really looking forward to next threads. The fact that I'm one of 3 players means I can influence much. ...Although I would prefer if there were much more regular players. Sure, I wouldn't be able to get my way as easy or have to deal with blunders due to idiotic suggestions but having more players is still preferable.

Perhaps, once this arc is concluded, you should make a new thread structured so that at first glance it looks like a new quest?
Get another, eye-catching opening picture. Start the introduction post as if the past deeds weren't actually played by us and as if it is premade chargen. "Forget" to put the meta section like links and stats till a bit later.

This quest really needs some new blood.
>>
there was a mention in the plot summary how Rica once possessed a mech to use as a body. Can we still do that? Can we posses a terminator?
>>
>>30278842

Yeah, I really should've tweeted something, so I apologize for that.

Concerning new blood: It's true. One thing I'd been considering since the revival, and part of the reason I did the revival, is because of that one time I was high on painkillers and wrote a whole bunch of sequel ideas. If I can wrap up this quest (and it's nearly done), then I can start one of the sequels, which takes place in a different city, different MC, but still the same setting.

Regardless, I believe last time we were planning on raiding Asrael's old hideout to try and pressgang his crew into working for you. In fact, it looks like I've already marked off the actions for it, so let's go ahead and get that rolling.

They're a bit better prepared than you might have expected. One of them pulls out an anti-tank weapon as your less-than subtle mechs approach down the tunnel halls and fires it, blasting off a significant chunk of a mech's shoulder. The laboratory set up for Span and Dandurand detonates almost immediately. Half the crew is downed by photon fire in the first ten seconds. One of the survivors opens up a chest, pulls out a few of those magical spikes Asrael was so fond of, and then drops a grenade inside and runs for one of the secret exits that, this being Asrael's hideouts, are of course all over the place. Rica downs the AT girl first, then gives chase to those trying to escape. Only three have made it; the two doctors and a girl you don't recognize.

Rica chases them down, ambushing the girl who's bringing up the rear and twisting her arm until it snaps, then tossing her aside to pursue the doctors down the narrow corridor. Realizing she is far faster than them, the two doctors pull out pistols and fire on her, but their aim is shit to begin with and she's able to dodge the bullets and beat the two of them into submission.

Rica drags the three survivors back to the hideout, where your mechs have secured the perimeter.

>what do you plan to do with them?
>>
>>30278889

Yes, but it's not especially effective. It means you're down by one mech and now that Rica's normal body has superpowers, it's not even a power boost for her anymore.
>>
>>30279370
Well, it is still an option for Julio. A terminator bot is better than whatever random body he can find.

>>30279351
I thought we wanted to try negotiate first. Like, with megaphone. Eh. As long as the doctors are alive.

Anyway, lets interrogate them. First separate them of course.
Start with the Girl. Who is she.

Before we continue, will prolonged interrogation have any effect on Kestrel situation? Will her scene change if we waste time trying to pry answers?
>>
>>30279477

Speaking of Julio. What will happen if we give him active super powers? He doesn't have any Power.
Will we get couple of free Power points?

> If I can wrap up this quest (and it's nearly done), then I can start one of the sequels, which takes place in a different city, different MC, but still the same setting.
>(and it's nearly done)

Awww. But I like Iron Master. I was hoping that there was still lots of things to do.
I don't think I will want to play anything but machines gadget hero now. And I had such great ideas for further development. Why not just up the scale of the quest or something?
>>
What did Eidolos want anyway? Can you remind me what he was about?
There was something about getting monkey and other primates for Eidolos for whatever reason.
>>
Can we get character sheets of supers who died?
I'd really like to see what Asrael was about. Also lists of Whisper and Tazer. And it would be great if you reposed Swordmans sheet too.
>>
>>30279477

They saw you and opened fire. They were never really interested in negotiation and I couldn't find a way to write it that didn't feel like a waste of space, so I skipped it.

>>30279568

No. If you get Julio powers, you'll also have to get him a Power score. You powered up Rica by giving her the preserved corpse of a supervillain named Strike who Swordsman had killed a long time ago, and that body already had a Power score.

Due to the somewhat abstract nature of time, all events within the same strategic turn happen more or less simultaneously with one another. So long as you don't run out of actions, interrogating Asrael's crew won't affect the Kestrel scene.

>>30279665

Eidolos are fleeing the destruction of their planet by a mysterious alien menace. They attacked without warning and never responded to any communication, so Eidolos just calls them the Other. Eidolos has learned that the Other attacks whenever superpowers become common on a planet, an event which they refer to as the Quickening. Eidolos wants monkey bodies so he can use them to build a space program with his advanced alien tech, and then find an inhabitable planet without intelligent life to colonize. He's also promised to help you out when the Other comes knocking.
>>
>>30279769

Well, here's Swordsman's:

Swordsman (Matthew Lagrange)
Health: 6
Power: 5 (15)
Athletics: 7
Cunning: 3
Technology: 5
Insight: 4
Observation: 5
Notoriety: 0
Stealth: 4

Powers: Up, Up, And Away, Super Strength, Meta Speed, Super Durability, Enhanced Vision, Enhanced Senses, Natural Weapon, AI, Energy Beam, Force Field, Energy Blast

The rest are OOC information. I'll probably release them once the quest is over, but for now, you don't know IC, so.

Whisper didn't even really have a character sheet, though. No superpowers, never appeared in person.
>>
>>30279871
How long does Eidolos think till the Quickening happens on Earth?

>You powered up Rica by giving her the preserved corpse of a supervillain named Strike who Swordsman had killed a long time ago, and that body already had a Power score.
Ah. I was wondering what was up with that.
So once we get Cloning going on, Julio could get his active super powers, right?

>Due to the somewhat abstract nature of time, all events within the same strategic turn happen more or less simultaneously with one another. So long as you don't run out of actions, interrogating Asrael's crew won't affect the Kestrel scene.
And interrogation is a free action, right?

Okay. Lets lets pat them down (or scan them if we have the tech) for any weapons, gadgets and whatever.
The start asking questions. First, who the hell is the girl?
The ask doctors what they were doing there, how they got there, what their relationship with Asreal is.

Lets see how that works out and we will see where we go from there.
>>
>>30279477

Oh, right, interrogation.

Well, the girl refuses to so much as speak to you. Won't even tell you her name. Won't even bother with "fuck you." Completely silent.
>>
>>30279974
Thanks, bro.
What carries over from the cloned body?

>>30280001
Tell her that we can forcefully extract her knowledge which will permanently break her mind. Does she want that?
Also, tell her that Asrael is dead so in case she is trying to protect him or his plans, they are already over.
>>
>>30279871
>No. If you get Julio powers, you'll also have to get him a Power score. You powered up Rica by giving her the preserved corpse of a supervillain named Strike who Swordsman had killed a long time ago, and that body already had a Power score.

Oh man. I'm so stupid. I just realized.
We have Asraels body. Cancer serum that shit up and have Julio posses it! (Not before we take ample amount of tissue for a cloned body)
>>
>>30279989

Eidolos has no idea how long it will take the Quickening to happen, nor how long it will take the Other to respond to it. They don't know how the Other finds out about these things, or if it has to prepare an attack after finding out, or what. All they know is that they intercepted communications from a half-dozen dead worlds on the way here, and they all told the same story: Super powers got common, and then the Other came and fucked up their shit, without warning, without negotiation.

Anyone Deathless can possess any cloned body.

Interrogation is indeed a free action. As mentioned, the girl will literally not say a single word, but the doctors are a bit more cooperative, in that they will at least speak to you at all. But all Span will do is ask to know what you've done with his daughter, and all Dandurand will do is say that you'll never get away with this.

That said, you do know that Asrael had previously acquired them from Chimera, who captured them when they wandered onto their territory whilst running from you.
>>
>>30280126
>We have Asraels body. Cancer serum that shit up and have Julio posses it! (Not before we take ample amount of tissue for a cloned body)

Wait. Don't do that just yet. I mean, yes. Cancer it up but I want to make a sufficiently satisfying scene for a massive upgrade for our first and very loyal henchman. I have a very good idea brewing in my head for some great power upgrades for Julio.
But first, I'd like the char sheet for Asrael's body, even if it is heavily censored and only shows things that carry over by possession.
>>
>>30280249
>Dandurand will do is say that you'll never get away with this.

"Get away with what exactly, Dandurand? Killing a Team Black memebr hated by all and busting his little troupe?"

>But all Span will do is ask to know what you've done with his daughter
Does he know that Kestrel is alive and kicking?
>>
>>30280258

Okay, here's the sheet.

Asrael (James Babich)
Health: 5
Power: 5 (15)
Athletics: 4
Cunning: -
Technology: -
Insight: -
Observation: 4
Nefariousness: -
Stealth: 6

Powers: Empathy, Peak Strength, Meta Speed, Peak Durability

>>30280065

You're still getting nothing out of the girl. Completely silent. Eyes closed. Face blank. If it weren't for her steady breathing, she could be mistaken for a corpse.
>>
>>30280331

Dandurand clarifies that he means you won't get away with, quote, "fucking kidnapping me, you madman!" Which is a little bit hypocritical, seeing as how he set up an underground (literally) robot factory in an effort to take over the city. Which he did in order to prevent you from using his inventions for awful purposes. He really doesn't like you.

Span hasn't heard anything from Kestrel since she flew away from the rooftop a few weeks ago.

Going back to my Gundam mech idea.

Can we make them be like actual Gundamn? Make a cockpit and have them be pilotable by other people? That would be so sweet. It could work similarly to when we posses a mech with Deathless.
>>
>>30280499

You can have a little person inside if you like the flavor, but the mech stats are unchanged. The pilot's capabilities are limited by the limits of the machine. Having an actual superpower (like Deathless) can change that, but just putting a human pilot inside won't.
>>
>>30280488
"Please, doctor Dandurand. I merely wanted to negotiate before Asrael's insane friends decided to blow everything up. This meeting would have been far more pleasant if they did not over-react.
And besides, what wrong have I done? All the disasters that include me, didn't happen because I wanted them to. Believe me, if I could go back and do things differently, I would. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes.
What do you think my goals, are good Doctors? To blow up the city, to kill everyone? I could have done that ages ago. I admit, the means I took might have been excessive but the end is anything but. Please try to have an open mind."

>Span hasn't heard anything from Kestrel since she flew away from the rooftop a few weeks ago.
"Doctor Span. You dear daughter is losing it and the one directly responsible is the man you have been closely working with, Asreal. After weeks upon weeks of pressuring her and mentally bullying her, I'm afraid her young mind can not handle it and will do something that she will dearly regret. Like murdering and armsdealer with a machine gun in broad daylight, like she just did right now.

Also, shame on you Dr Span. You knew she was alive but never made contact to let her know you're okay? She's been really worried by your disappearance and thought you died. I think that also contributed negatively to her mental health."

"So, I ask, to you doctors. Are you willing to talk like civilized beings. Work together with me?"
>>
>>30280621

Cool.
I was thinking how they could act as health buffer for us, our henchmen (or whoever we feel like putting in one of those).
The mech gets destroyed, and the super inside pops up. So instead of 2vs1 (super with a mech against and opponent). It will be a fight "this is not even my final form" type of fight, even if the final form is weaker.

Also, I decided to change Stats for it. Since 4 Observation is barely anything against anyone competent at stealth. I decided that this would fare a bit better:
H P A C T I O N S
8 4 8 0 0 6 0 0 0

Easy to ambush but at least once it happens they cannot be ambushed again. High Insight against cunning using opponents. Nothing close to 12athletics but at least they will have a chance.

What do you think?
>>
>>30280719

Btw, OP. I suck at dialogue. Please don't make the character say anything stupid if IC he knows he could do better?

In fact, it would be much better if you took the dialogue options and rewrote them in the update to fit the character.
>>
>>30280937
Also, I'm tired and putting question marks where they have no business of being put
>>
OP, when buying powers for our henchmen, we can grant them ANY powers we have unlocked for our MC, or any power from unlocked sets (like with mechs)?
>>
>>30280719

Dandurand's in the middle of another rant about justice and etc. when Span starts trying to get through to him. "Dandurand. Dr. Dandurand, Ken, *shut up*," he says, and Dandurand scowls, but listens. And then Span turns back to you and says "talk."

"Dr. Span, your daughter has become unstable thanks to Asrael's bullying and-"

"Bullshit," Span says, "I know how Asrael operates and he doesn't make people *less* stable. And I know she's been working with you for at least a few months, if she's done something horrible and you aren't just making this all up, it's *your* fault."

>well that approach didn't work. Any other ideas?
>>
>>30281334

Henchmen have their own unlocked sets completely independent of yours. You couldn't give a henchman a Machines or Necromancy power without unlocking the set on them first.
>>
>>30281400

Put a hand on their mouths so that they listen very closely

"She was having an idyllic lunch on the roof-top. Then Asrael talked with her and she flew of to San Diego where I lost the track of her for a while. Then she comes back and murders a man in broad day light. Whatever your, friend said, it upset her very dearly.

And tell me, Dr Span, if you are really a doctor and not an imbecile, what will wreck the mind more? Willingly working together with someone? Or being murdered by a madman, so-called-hero, seeing into the void of death and then barely being brought back? The man who, by the way, was made by YOU.
Then she has to deal with all her friends turning to a murdering pyromaniac, her only family abandons her so yeah, she went to someone who would accept her.
Do not presume to blame me for your poor parenting skills and life choices. YOU are directly responsible for her well-being. You knew she stole the prototype suit and let her fly around and play hero while her social and academic life plummeted. Exposed her to the reality of brutal criminality. I simply came and picked up the pieces.
Do you know how we even met? I enrolled in her school and made the only friend she has. It took me a day to see how wrecked her life is while her own father was blind."

"So instead of throwing accusations to each other, are you willing to talk like gentlemen?"
>>
>>30281431

So if I wanted them to have their own mechs. I'd need to unlock the powerset, then buy terminators and mechs powers?
Hmm. This put damper on my ambitions but I almost expected this anyway.

How much XP can we buy with the resources we have?
>>
>>30281755

You're getting the timeline wrong here. Dr. Span knows that Kestrel has been working with you since at least three months before Asrael started working with Team Blue, so clearly her signing up with you had nothing to do with everyone else working with Asrael.
>>
>>30281790

No, you can just have your henchmen ride around in your mechs. Those mechs just get taken from your own pool. So if Rica's piloting a mech, you only have three left to command personally.

Right now you can only buy one XP, since you used Cancer to regenerate Asrael's body. With 2 more resources, you could buy another.
>>
>>30281755
OP, my dialogue sucks. Can I simply give some points I want to make and you construct a good dialogue out of it?

We should mention:
-All the heroes have been distrusting of her believing the word of a maniac fire-starter. I mean, yes, it was true but come on,they had no trust in the poor girl.
-Her father worked for some super Evil corporation (yes, we know all about Cancer project, Dr Dandurand) which made an insane, powerhungry and unstable person into super and was planning on rolling them out en masse.
-Asreal is Team Black, you idiot, literally worse than Hitler. At least we aren't and you were working with him?
-Btw, he killed Tazer. Did you know that? He totally did. Good job guys. A total swell guy. What do you think he was going to do once the villains were driven off? Peacefully go back into his caverns? He would have taken his vigilantism to the extremes and the Team Blue would have been next on his list.

-Tell him it took us no small amount of power and resources to bring her back. Power which we will never get back and we never forced her into anything. We weren't lying to the girl with you, we can really get into someones mind, learn everything about them and have extreme power over their desires. We simply decided not to.

Bleh. I don't know what else to tell them to make them listen.
>>
>>30281961
Can we freely redesign terminators? I'm not sure why warrior bots have Technology score when insight would be much better for them.

>>30281961
>Right now you can only buy one XP, since you used Cancer to regenerate Asrael's body. With 2 more resources, you could buy another.

Btw, what happened to that offer we gave for that criminal who wanted the powers? I gave the price and wanted to see if he would go with it
1 (tier 1) power = 10r
2 powers combo = 17r
3 powers combo = 23r

Lets see if he will agree with that.

Also, a question. Does the cancer serum heal cancer?
>>
>>30282070

In high enough doses, the Cancer serum can cure basically anything or, in the case of Cancer, grow so many redundant organs that we can rip the tumors out and take the whole lung with it and you won't have to care. That's now why it's called Cancer serum, though. It's called Cancer serum (with a capital C) because experiments with it created Cancer, a crab-like monster that ate people and laid eggs in their hollowed out corpses. Large doses will turn you into a monster and possibly also drive you completely insane. As such, while it could hypothetically cure your cancer, by the time you had enough in your system to do that, you'd be completely inhuman, which does limit its marketability a little bit.
>>
>>30281925
>You're getting the timeline wrong here. Dr. Span knows that Kestrel has been working with you since at least three months before Asrael started working with Team Blue, so clearly her signing up with you had nothing to do with everyone else working with Asrael.

Alright. But still. They worked with the worst possible criminal out there and then turned around to accuse Kester which was incredibly hypocritical of them. We never actually asked her to do any dirty deeds and she was always free to refuse.
It really is depressing that once she lost all of her normal, friends, she also lost everyone in her super life.
Man, what a bummer, huh? If only some family member was there to back her up when she most needed. Oh no, wait, her father was working with the most hated criminal out there, also, never bothered to tell her he is alive. Good job.
>>
>>30282138

And I capitalized cancer when I shouldn't have, because I was referring to cancer the disease and not Cancer the monster. Oops.

Also I forgot to answer the other two questions. Oops twice more.

Yes, you can redesign terminators as much as you want, and yeah, that guy's willing to pay 23 resources for the three power combo, although it's pushing it a little bit. That said, you'll have to give him 'till next week to get the funds together.
>>
>see a super villain quest in the catalog
>the Iron Master

Wait WHAT? Wasn't this dead since like one or two Years ago? Gotta go visit the archive...

Is this continuing from when we left off? Last I clearly remember we got birdgirl killed.
>>
>>30282167

How much money do we need to have at this round 8 total xp? What ever is the amount if it is low enough, can he pay it this turn and the rest next turn?
We will also gift him personal Aegis Armor and Photon Rifle so that to facilitate good friendship and business in future. (we will give him the armor and rifle either way, even if he can't do advance payment)

>>30282214
There have been a couple of threads past few days, some of them weren't archived. Pls hurry up and join in. It is lonely being alone out here.
>>
>>30282214

If the last thing you remember is getting Kestrel killed, you missed like half the original run of the quest.
>>
>>30282321
Maybe he confused her with Red Death?
>>
>>30282308
>What ever is the amount if it is low enough, can he pay it this turn and the rest next turn?

What I mean is. Can he pay enough money so that our total resources is enough for us to have 8 total XP?
>>
>>30282308
>>30282381

Okay, OP, I just had epiphany. If we unlock mech powers for our henchmen and thus a mech design do they also count as unlocked for us?
Please tell they do. Because flufflwise it will be us giving the MC control over our mechs
>>
>>30282432
>Because flufflwise it will be us giving the MC control over our mechs
>MC
the henchman*

fuck
>>
>>30282308
>>30282321
>>30282349

I'm pretty sure I got to the end of the original run, but I assumed this was dead for good so I just let stuff go away from my memory.

Squeezing my brain a little, I believe we got the powerarmor dude that killed Krestel arrested but then took him to get executed by some girl?
>>
>>30282500
Last time we send our new henchman and Rica after Kronos, who promptly stopped time, pulled out a gun and blew their heads of.
>>
>>30282163

Well, by the time you're finished making accusations and telling blatant lies, Dr. Span has become completely unwilling to listen to you at all. The extent of what you can get out of him now is that if you plan on killing him, you should hurry up and do it, because unlike EdenTech you're just an egomaniac whose wounded pride evidently means more than the bottom line. He's by now convinced that you can't actually be negotiated with and he isn't just going to lie down and do whatever you want, so what the fuck ever. Do your worst.

>>30282308

8 resources for 1 XP +9 resources for 2 XP is 17, and right now you have 15, so that's just barely out of reach. +10 more is 27 resources total so you're 12 short. That said, your customer says he can't put up even 12 resources on short notice.

>>30282432

Sure. I don't know why you would do that, because Mechs requires Terminators and between the two of them the cost of the power is 5 XP even with the half-off henchman discount, and even if you don't have to pay even a single XP to unlock a set that's 3 more XP than buying the new mech design yourself, but I guess you CAN.
>>
>That said, your customer says he can't put up even 12 resources on short notice.
can he put up 2 resources on short notice?

>>30282734
Man, I knew my dialogue sucked.

That's actually cheaper than I though, I guess I had brain-fart.

Nah, man, you don't understand my ingenuity.
I'm not sure how crazy this idea is but I want some of our henchmen to have mech powers. So, Julio, for example will be able to wield command of personal Gundam with 4 more backing him up and 30 terminator bots. The fluff thing I mentioned wasn't just because. We can always turn them off and take them away in case he decides to betray us (which I doubt will happen).
If we unlock Lucky Mechs too, then he can have 1 or 2 arcane voodoo mechs doing dark rituals in our hideout and influencing his luck.

Man, this is so great, unless someone comes out and stops me, I'm gonna do it.
>>
>>30282734
>>30282973

Oh forgot about the Doctors and Kestrel.
Shame I couldn't convince them at all.

Anyway, lets have Red Death contact Kestrel. And tell her to calm down. Ask her what has gone into her mind. Calmly of course. Tell her everything is alright.

The Doctors? Well, lets put them somewhere secure for now. Dandural definitely has Mechanics powerset and probably has high Tech so lets not let him be close to our bots or other gadgets. Put them deep into our territory and have one of the more capable sets guard them.
Transfer them in a van.
>>
>>30282973

Yeah, he can put up two resources on short notice.

Without the Mobile Dolls power, if Julio is commanding five mechs he won't have any space left over for terminators. Come to think of it, seeing as how you've had like nine terminators deployed at all times to keep track of heroes, I'm pretty sure you can't even maintain four mechs at once right now, but I guess one of the heroes only has two watching him.
>>
>>30283187
>Yeah, he can put up two resources on short notice.

Cool.
Thank him.
So we will have 7xp if we spend all the resources meaning I can get Julion Mechs and unlock Voodoo Mechs?
Great.
Great
....

I wish there was somebody to back me up so that I can share the blame if this blows up in my face. Once we deal with Kestrel situation perhaps.

Oh, right. Well, he can always command them in case he needs it.
>>
On the size scale. What is the smallest terminator we can make? The largest?
>>
We can't go personally to talk with Kestrel, can we?

Terminators can be anything medium size or smaller. You've built undersized terminators in the past (and honestly, I'm not sure why the stealth bots are full size people when you used pigeon bots to sneak inside EdenTech Tower much more successfully).

You can't go yourself, because you're busy doing other things. But if you could get someone like Red Death to hand her a phone whose number you know, you could call her. Also, if someone convinces her to come to you, that doesn't take an action.

Question: What are you doing with the doctors and Asrael's buddy now?

This is exactly why I asked.
I'm not even sure why Stealth Bots aren't miniscule. I think because they needed to be used as bombs too, right?

>The Doctors? Well, lets put them somewhere secure for now. Dandural definitely has Mechanics powerset and probably has high Tech so lets not let him be close to our bots or other gadgets. Put them deep into our territory and have one of the more capable sets guard them.
>Transfer them in a van.

I guess RD calling her out and then giving her the phone would be a right action.

You have the doctors transferred to somewhere in Catalina Island under heavy guard.

Red Death, meanwhile, approaches Kestrel. "Kestrel," he says, and she turns around, aims the rifle at him, but relaxes and lowers the weapon a bit when she sees him.

"What do you want?" she asks.

"Iron Master wants to talk to you," he says.

"What about?" she asks.

"Didn't say," Red Death says, and tosses her a phone. She catches it, eyes Red Death warily a moment, then answers.

"What's up?"

>What's up?

"It's complicated. Short version is that I need to find Asrael."
>>
>>30284626
"Ah, then you should have come to me."
"Can you at least tell me what you want from him?"

>OP, why are taking so long for such small updates? Pls

however she answers tell her that Asrael is dead

I'm getting really busy and, honestly, should probably just stop now. But I'd like to finish this conversation first.

"I need to get my dad away from him."

"Asrael is dead," you mention.

"Well, that's step one taken care of," Kestrel says.

>what will you tell her about her father?

don't forget to tweet tommorow if you are or are not running. It is always a good idea to notify few hours in advance when you are running.

"Oh.....
I must admit, when I saw you gun down that dealer like that, especially after Asrael talked to you and you disappeared to in San Diego, I thought that you might have lost it and acted in a rush.
I had located Asraels hideout and knew the location of your father, I decided to not do anything about it but thinking that you had gone punisher on everybody, I wanted someone to talk to you who is close to you. My initial idea to peacefully talk to them went poorly extremely fast as Asraels goons attacked us. Fortunately your father was unharmed.
I tried to get his help but he proved quite.... uncooperative. Must have been my extremely heavy-hand approach. He and his colleague distrusts me immensely.

Anyway, your father is in my care. I had to put them under lock since I'm sure they would flee otherwise. Sorry about that."

"Also, why did you get rid of the suit? It is extremely expensive stuff which I wont be easily able to recreate fast" [I'm not actually if this true. Did we use resources or XP when making her suit?]

wait change this

"but seeing you like this, I thought you needed to talk to someone close to you instead of me"
>>
>>30285388

Kestrel's suit wasn't made by you. It was an invention of her father, a prototype to the Swordsman suit. But it does require XP to upgrade/recreate.

Kestrel's silent for a long time. Then she says "alright, if dad's with you I'll need to take a road trip. I'll be back in a few days." And without bothering to wait for a response, she tosses the phone back to Red Death.

And now I must go. Next time: I dunno, I guess Julio does some stuff, he's the only one with actions left. Maybe you'll try to talk to Kestrel more. Kronos might do something crazy on the LAPD's turn.

I'm gonna go archive this thing now.
