> SEPTEMBER 3rd, 1938 <
> NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK <

You are Christine “Chris” Hunter. You’re a fifteen year-old girl, Girl Scout, Spy for the United States, and a Magical Girl known to many as Magical Girl Liberty.

You read today’s newspaper in a quaint little café in the busy city of New York. Interesting articles. Hitler cancels academic venture to Skull Island. Hm. You wonder why that is.

Sitting across from you is Sumire Kawanishi, AKA Magical Girl Lightning. She takes a sip of her coffee, humming a little.

It’s been some time since the two of you actually got some time to just sit around and rest. Operator #5 sent away the Shard of Atlantis to sit in storage until it can be fully understood. This Atlantean business is really beginning to grate on you, but at the same time you find yourself wondering how it all connects to you, the Nazis, Skull Island, Mister Joanes, everything.

Sumire yawns a little, crossing her legs and saying, “I’m bored.” Typical. She leans back, throwing her arms into the air. “There’s nothing to do!”

> “We’re not on call for another week, deal with it.”

Sumire rolls her eyes. “Pfft. Air Militia, no thanks.”

“What’s wrong with Air Militia?” you ask as you lower the newspaper. “They’ve been patrolling the skies ever since the Pirate gangs started springing up, Crawford’s one of them.”

She crosses her arms, frowning. “I just have no patience for them. They’re just Pirates paid to not plunder.”

“And you’re a Magical Girl paid to do Magical Girl things, what difference does it make?”

Sumire grunts, then simply takes another sip of her coffee. You suppose that’s the end of that conversation, so you go back to reading the newspaper. You read up on the latest hubbub. Apparently there’s going to be another Nuremberg rally in a few days. Probably the last one too considering the tensions between Czechoslovakia and Germany. You sigh, Nazis, a bunch of bullies they are.

Then you feel a scratching at your leg. You look down to see a white cat, meowing.

You say, “Kirby, what do you want?”

Kirby hops into your lap, then purrs. Oh, stop trying to act cute you old maid.

“Oh?” says Kirby in an echoing telepath message to you. “Are you not entertained by my antics?”

No.

“Alright. I’m just here to tell you that there may indeed be some trouble today.”

You groan, folding up the newspaper haphazardly, crumpling the pages up. Sumire looks at you confusedly. “Who are you talking to?” she asks.

You say, “My contractor, Kirby.” You lift up the cat for her to see. “Kirby, Sumire. Sumire, Kirby.”

Sumire nods, smiling. “Nice to meet you. Didn’t realize folks like you still recruited Magical Girls that way.”

Kirby says to you both, “We simply realize the magic in you when we find you, and simply offer you to become more. In Liberty’s case-“

“Yeah, shut up, Kirby,” you say. “Now what trouble are you talking about?”

Kirby licks its paw. “There’s something coming over the horizon. Something I haven’t felt in ages.” She squirms right out of your grasp then hops back onto the floor. “You should be careful, Liberty. You as well, Sumire.” With that, Kirby disappears behind a passing waitress. You sigh. Damn cat always did like to talk all cryptic like.

Sumire looks down at the newspaper. “Oooh! Apparently the Munich is going to dock at the Empire State Building today! Ostensibly, it’s on a trip from Germany to promote world peace!”

You roll your eyes. “Yeah, more like a piece of the world.”

With that, you finish off your coffees and begin heading around the street. You’ve lived in New York your whole life, Brooklyn-born. Showing Sumire around hasn’t been the most fun thing because she keeps wandering off. Not to mention living with her.

ESPECIALLY not to mention having to live with her. That was the one thing you hated in the conditions that Operator #5 set for you when you first recruited Lightning back in Gibraltar.

And again, Sumire has wandered off into an alley. You groan, and follow her. “Sumire! Come on! What are you-“ You pause as you see what’s going on.

Sumire is standing watching several yards away as some poor girl your age is being confronted by some street hoodlums. She’s back into a wall, surrounded by the four of them.

“Come on!” says the largest thug. “We just want to see.”

“… I-I told you,” she says quietly. The bespectacled girl looks downward, trying not to look frighten. “J-J-Just go away.” Must have a stutter.

The four thugs laugh. “See! What a total prude! Maybe we oughta show her the ropes, huh boys?”

“Hey, boys!”

The thugs all turn to you. One of them asks, “A Girl Scout?”

You nod, placing your hands in your pockets and walking up to them. “That’s right. I believe the little miss there asked to be left alone, so maybe you should leave her alone?”

Thug #1 laughs. “Who the hell do you think you are? Trying to tell us what to do?”

“Yeah!” says Thug #2. “Why don’t you mind your own damn business, dollface!”

You look back at Sumire, then say, “I’ll handle this.” You walk up to the thugs, crossing your arms. “Look, I might not look it, but I’m a heck of a lot scarier than you guys are. So why don’t you make you like nuts and bolt?”

They look at you, furious. The largest thug walks up to you, pretty much twice your size. “Heh, the little girl must think she’s the damn First Lady or something.”

You shrug. “I just know that I am going to show you all the pavement if you don’t walk away.”

The thug growls, then raises his fist. “I’ll show you some pavement you dumb bitch!”

You simply move your head to the left, dodging his ponderous hit. He tries to hit you again but misses as you quite simply just move out of the way. The boy sure as hell ain’t a pitcher that’s for sure.

He winds his fist back, then throws his punch with all his power behind it. You move to the right and let him trip over himself.

Your turn.

You backhand him, hard. He stumbles backward, yelping in pain. Then you punch him in the gut, taking his breath away and almost folding him in half. Lastly you finish with a headbutt to the nose, turning it into a bloody mess. He falls over in pain, gripping his broken nose.

Another thug looks at you, gritting his teeth angrily. “You stupidass broad!” He charges at you, and you simply spin around him and kick him in the ass. You watch as he slams into a pile of trash cans, knocking himself out effectively.

The other two thugs look at you, now a bit shaken. One of them pulls out a switchblade, and tries to threaten you with it. “You don’t want none of this.”

You say, “Who said you’d get to use it?”

The knife thug shakily yells, “Shut up!” then rushes at you. He screams as he thrusts his knife at you, only for you to kick it out of his hand. He has no time to be shocked as you simply punch him in the gut, sending him flying into the wall.

The other thug looks at you, scared. You crack your knuckles, walking towards him. He proceeds to run the hell away.

“Where are you going!?” you yell after him. “We were just getting to know each other!”

Sumire whistles, crossing her arms. “Damn. Didn’t think you had in it you.”

“What are you talking about, Sumire?” you say. You smirk. “This is my turf. Boys should know that.” You look over at the girl, who’s backing into the wall as if she were its paintjob. You walk over, offering your hand. “You okay?”

The girl nods. “I-I… I’m fine. T-Th… Th…” She sighs. She quickly exhales, closing her eyes. Then she says, “… I’m fine. Thank you.”

You nod. “Hey, it’s tough territory out here,” you say.

You say, “What’s your name?”

“My name is Rana Scott.” Good, appears her stutter is calming down.

Sumire offers her hand. “I’m Sumire,” she says. “Your Knight in Shining Armor here is Christine, we call her Chris.”

Rana nods, shaking Sumire’s hand shyly. “Nice to meet you both.”

You ask, “So what did these punks want anyway?”

“Oh, they just followed me in here, wanted me to...” she points at her skirt, “Lift my skirt over my head. You know?”

You nod. “You’re a bit young for that. What would your mother think?”

Rana shrugs. “Well… she’s kind of dead.”

The both of you look at each other, surprised. Then you say, “Sorry.”

“It’s fine. I-I don’t like playing the orphan card anyway,” says Rana.

“Well,” you say. “If you want, you can wind down at our place. We were just headed there.”

Sumire nods. “Yeah! We need a maid-“ you elbow her in the gut. “Ha! I mean… friends!”

Rana looks at you both weirdly. Then shrugs, sighing. “I… I suppose I could.”

With that, three of you walk out of the alley and back towards your apartment. Rana’s a very interesting girl. You can’t quite put your finger on it. You see the Munich appearing to dock at the Empire State Building. Only the rich these days travel by Zep liner. You, despite your work for Uncle Sam, are not one of them.

“So, Rana,” asks Sumire. “Tell us about yourself.”

Rana shrugs again, looking down as she walks. “Oh, y-you wouldn’t be interested.”

Sumire nods, “Oh, that’s a good point.”

You take a quick glare to Sumire, then say, “Rana. It’s okay. Just consider us good Samaritans, yeah?”

Rana nods. “Okay.”

Sumire looks up at the sky, then stops. “The hell is that?”

You look up at the sky as well. There are huge blots of darkness of what look like…

> Flying men?

You say, “They kind of look like men.”

The three of you stare at them. People start clustering around the streets, wondering what these mysterious silhouettes could be. Rana blinks, fascinated. “I recognize those!”

You look over at her. “You do?”

Rana nods, smiling. “They’re Mark Seven Atlas Mechs! They’re state of the art! Designed to be able to fly and be able to participate in land operations as well!” She grins. “Plus! They carry-“

You’re interrupted as one of the Atlas Mechs lands, then the next, and the next, and the next, until they form a great column down the street, two by two. They’re at least ten or so stories tall, and those huge slits where eyes would be glow white with some kind of forceful energy. They stand in some kind of parade formation.

You say, “What-“

The first two blast a hole in the ground with an intense beam weapon. They start marching, arms going up and down like soldiers in parade. People start running and cowering as the robots start causing chaos.

You pull Rana away. “Sumire! Meet with me later!” you yell.

Sumire nods, heading in a different direction as Police start responding with their Thompson SMGs. “Got it!”

“Wait!” yells Rana. “Where are we going!?”

You say, “I’m finding you a nice to place to hide.”

“Watch out!” screams someone. You pull Rana to the right, narrowly avoiding getting burst to a crisp by one of those power beams. The Mechs keep stomping forward, crushing cars, lampposts, slowly and ponderously. The guns from the policemen are doing nothing to their armor besides scratching the paint.

You set Rana at an alleyway. “Stay here!” you say.

“But-“

“Stay here! Or find someplace safer, I don’t know!” you say again. You run off, leaving her in the dust. You’ve got a job to do.

Damn it, Kirby. One nice day to relax is all you want.

You jump into the air and become…

You bring your shields up, and immediately feel yourself hammered right into the ground by those beam weapons. You feel like a railroad spike at this point as the waves of power wash over your shield and start setting things alight. Finally, they stop firing, allowing you to stand back.

“Heads up!” You look back.

> MAGICAL GIRL LIGHTNING! <

You bring your shield upwards over your head, then allow Lightning to hop on. You both jump at the same time, propelling Lightning far into the air and letting her come down on the lead Mech with her magical naginata.

“Wooooooo!” screams Lightning as she comes down. She swings downward, only to smack right into a forcefield of some kind around the mech, then anti-climatically sliding down in front of it.

You roll your eyes. Lightning quickly recovers and hops down next to you. “They got shields of some sort!” she yells.

“Really,” you say.

You bring your shield up as they fire their beam weaponry again. You get blown backwards down the street, the pavement giving way to your feet.

Lightning jumps up then tries everything at slashing away at the shield as she comes down, to no avail. These Mechs were well built.

They fire their weaponry again at you, blasting you further down the street. You lock your feet down and crouch. Time to become an immovable object to their unstoppable force. You feel the beam wash over your shield.

Then you decide to angle your shield. Suddenly, it’s not washing over, but deflecting right back at them. The shield turns from blue to red, then instantly dissipates as the Mech is blown back into the Mech behind it, then falls over. It is trampled underfoot.

Lightning whistles. “Nice work!” she says.

You nod. “Yeah. Great.” You look past that one Mech, seeing a huge line stretching all the way down the street. Who knows how many more there are. You can hear propellers, then you see Warhawks fly overhead, laying rockets and machine guns into the mechs, only to have them get absorbed those forcefields.

[1/2]
>>
>>30356323
[2/2]

You say, “This is nuts. We can’t do anything against those shields!”

“I can!” You look back to see… Rana?

Rana is no longer in the simple dress fashion of the day. She’s now glowing bright blue and wearing a heavy black longcoat around her shoulders and a tight grey dress. Iher hands are two M1921 Thompsons with hundred-round magazines.

She is…

> MAGICAL GIRL BOMBER! <

She runs up to you and raises her guns at the Mechs. She blast away, the magic blessing her bullets to be as destructive as possible. The shields turn red from overwork and dissipate, and start getting gashed and dented by BOMBER’s magical fire.

“Now!” she yells. “Go for it!”

You run alongside Lightning as Bomber continues her suppressive barrage. You spin your left and right shields until they’re glowing red from the heat, then you throw them like Major League Baseball pitchers. The shields embed themselves in the chest of the huge mech.

Lightning hops up onto them then hops onto the mech’s shoulder. She brings her naginata’s blade around its neck, then swipes, decapitating the mech in one smooth blow. She then jumps to the next one and slashes downward into the Mech’s head.

As the first one falls, you recall your shields, and the fly back into your hands. You run up onto it as it wrecks itself then block another beam of power. The mech wreck you stand on starts melting from the sheer heat.

“Here I come!” as Lightning jumps past you and stabs her blade deep into the chest of a Mech. She then pulls downward, slicing the Mech in half and letting it fall into two neat pieces.

Bomber jumps up next to you and throws her Machine guns up, letting them sparkle then disassemble to form a great big .50 Caliber Browning machine gun.

> SPECIAL MOVE! <
> BROADWAY BLASTER! <

She shoots from the hip, blasting holes in Mechs in front and beyond. They start falling to pieces under her magical barrage.

[1/2]
>>

[2/2]
Then the remaining Mechs halt. Bomber stops firing, and Lightning hops back next to you, twirling her naginata then letting it come to rest beside her.

The Mechs raise their arms, twisting them to form wings, then begin blasting off into the sky.

You watch them as they leave, confused out of your mind. “What the hell was that!?” yells Lightning. “Come back and fight us!”

“Lightning,” you say. “Don’t press your luck.” You look over at Bomber, who’s withdrawn her guns into her coat. You ask her, “Why didn’t you tell us you were a Magical Girl?”

Bomber shrugs. “I didn’t think you were.”

“Fair point,” says Lightning. The Police start cheering as the Robots leave and the Broadway Bombers buzz the streets. Looks like this little raid is over. If you could even call it a raid.

The three of you hop down off the wreck, trying not to look inconspicuous. “Right, let’s get the hell out of-“

“Not so fast.” Damn it. You look over to see a man, clad in a navy blue jumpsuit, a metallic cylinder on his back and under his arm a very alien looking helmet. “My name is Jeff King, Sky Marshal, I work with the US Government.”

> “Magical Girl Liberty. I work with the Government too.”

- is what you say to him. He needs, offering his hand. You shake it politely. “Quite the thing you girls did with those Mechs. If you hadn’t been around, I’m sure a lot of people would be dead today.”

You nod. “We’re just doing our civic duty, Mister King.”

King nods. “Of course. We had some trouble with other Mechs down in Manhattan but like these ones, they just ran off. It’s strange.”

You say, “Yeah. I know.” You look back at the wrecks of all the mechs you Magical Girls have done.

Bomber says, “Atlas Mechs are no match for us Magical Girls, especially ones who know that the weakness of their shields lie in the overtaxing of it, such that once it’s overloaded, it can’t be recharged as usual and has to be replaced which is a timely venture in of itself.”

Lightning says, “Ain’t you the sharpest knife in the drawer.”

“Anyway,” says King. “I assume you three work with Operator #5?”

You nod. “Yeah, he’s our boss. He heads the Magical Girl Division of the SSO.” The SSO being the Strategic Services Office. You ask, “Why?”

King says, “He’ll want you all to report to him as soon as you can.” His chest beeps a bit, then he checks the band on his wrist. “Damn. Listen, I have to go. It’s been a pleasure meeting you three, maybe we’ll work together someday.”

You nod. “Likewise.”

With that, King dons his helmet, and he blasts off into the sky. A real rocketman.

I have literally never seen anyone write this way. Ever. It is really clunky and weird.

> Find a payphone, report to Operator #5

Once you find a safe spot, you transform out of your Magical Girl States then head back into the street as if nothing happened. You find a payphone near a shop then dial in the number for Operator #5. “Hello?”

Operator #5 greets you. “Howdy. I assume this is about the raid.”

“It is, sir. You already know?”

“I’ve got cameras posted around the blocks. Anyway, good work out there. You deserve a commendation for it, especially since it was your day off.”

“It doesn’t feel like a day off, not with Lightning around.”

“Of course. Anyway, that other Magical Girl you were with, she still with you?”

“Yes sir. Why?”

“Does she have any greater allegiance or anything?”

“You’re wanting to recruit her, sir?”

“Well, every Magical Girl counts. Her included. Put her on the line.”

You offer the phone to Rana, who takes the phone confusedly. You stand next to Sumire, who leans on the wall, looking bored out of her wits. Typical. You say, “Not entertained, Sumire?”

“It’s just-“ She shrugs. “I wanted to keep fighting.”

“That’s not healthy,” you say. “You should try and relax. Hell, if it turns out we have to go to Bumsville, Nowhere after this, I’d be pretty mad. Miss my chance at a nice period of rest.”

Sumire smiles. “Oh, you’re just lazy like that, aren’t you?”

“No, I just happen to be sane.”

The two of you look at Rana as she converses with Operator #5. Rana seems to be confused, but curious, intrigued even at the prospect of working for the SSO. Working with the SSO wasn’t so bad, at least you weren’t getting prodded with sticks like at the Strategic Scientific Reserve.

Finally Rana nods, saying, “Okay.” She pauses. “Alright. I’ll tell them.” She hangs up the phone, then walks up to you. She still looks a bit confused. “Looks like I’m working with you guys.”

Sumire smiles. “Awesome!” She punches Rana in the arm, knocking her off balance. “This’ll be great! Us three, working together to solve mysteries, fight evil empires, and do… stuff!”

You nod. “Stuff.”

“Stuff!”

You cross your arms. “Well, welcome to the SSO, Rana.” You rub your forehead a bit. “Goddamn, listen, can we just go home. I just want to rest and relax.”

With that, the three of you begin the walk back to your Apartment down in Brooklyn. It’s not a particularly far walk, which means there’s relatively little time for conversing, or at least conversing that isn’t Sumire complaining about how bored she is. At least she hasn’t wandered off.

You finally arrive back at your apartment. You check the time, Six O’Clock. It’s about time for dinner. It’s not a particularly large apartment, you’d call it cozy. The kitchen and the living room are all in one space, and the bedroom is off in another room, with two beds between you and Sumire. Trash and discarded clothing is everywhere. Sumire’s doing. Sumire immediately jumps onto the dusty old couch, arms behind her head as she relaxes. Rana meanwhile just awkwardly stands around, looking at stuff.

This sounds good.

Also, as we're talking clean up a bit. We'll get to dinner in a bit.

> Talk to Rana

You sigh, walking over to the radio and turning it on, tuning in to some lovely background music. “So, Rana. Got any place to stay? Anyone you need to call? SSO work is pretty rigorous you know.”

Rana shrugs. “I’m actually homeless.”

You blink. “Really? You don’t look the part?”

“I’m really good at squatting,” she says. “It’s either that or the orphanage, and god knows I don’t want to go back there.”

Sumires chuckles. “That’s an understandable thing! That means you get to stay with us!” she says, grinning madly. Rana looks down at her, neutral, then back at you.

“Do you know any other places I can stay?”

You say, “Much as you’re scared of Sumire, she don’t bite. You can sleep on the couch until we get you a proper place to stay, alright?”

Rana nods, then sits down next to Sumire, who sits up and stares at her evilly. Rana scoots away a bit, right up to the armrest.

“I’ll cook us some diiner,” you say. You open the fridge and pull out the ingredients necessary for some nice pasta. Simple enough to make.

Once you get the cooking done, the three of you sit around a small table and start eating. Sumire says, “Typical, Chris. Typical cooking.”

“Are you trying to say something?” says you.

Sumire nods. “Yep. Your cooking is good as typical.”

Rana says, “That isn’t grammatically correct.”

“I don’t care,” says Sumire. “You cook good, Chris.” You shrug at that. You don’t feel it’s anything special. Rana meanwhile simply eats quietly.

And that’s how it was for the next five minutes or so. You say to Rana, “So, Rana. Excited for SSO work? Get to be a spy like in those dime novels and such you know.”

Rana smiles. “Really?”

Sumire nods, “Yeah! And you get to beat up Nazis too!”

“Cool,” says Rana. “I mean, I really haven’t found much use of myself but… I’m wiling. It’ll be really exciting!”

You nod. “Well, count your blessings. We aren’t on call.” Suddenly, the phone rings. You stand up, excusing yourself from the table, and then answer the phone. “Hello?”

“Liberty. It’s Operator #5.”

“Oh? What is it, sir?”

“We’ve just accounted for a missing person. A Doctor Heinz Gunther. He was supposed to arrive aboard the Munich today but he’s been reported missing. I haven’t found trace of him. Call me crazy, but I believe I may have found the cause of today’s raid.”

“Oh? What does it mean, sir?”

“The Mechs were a distraction. Whoever sent them wanted Police away from the Empire State Building so as to kidnap Doctor Gunther. And, I’ve reviewed through some of my records, there are so more similar kidnappings of Doctors and scientists like Gunther.”

You nod, as if he can see you. “Okay… what does it mean?”

“I believe we’ve found some sort of pattern. Might be the Nazis, might be the Russians. Who knows? Listen, I want you to report to my office tomorrow-“

“But sir!” Damn it, it’s your time off. “It’s-“

“I realize it’s your time off. But this is an emergency. Report to my office tomorrow morning, and I’ll brief you on the situation and what needs to happen. So long, Liberty.”

With the dial tone, you gently smack the phone back into the receiver. Well, there goes your mood. You say to Sumire and Rana, “That was Operator #5. We’ve got to be in the Office by tomorrow.”

Sumire grins excitedly. “Oh! Is it more sabotage work!”

“I don’t know,” you say. You sit down, groaning.

Rana blinks. “Um, since you’re here. Would you explaining who Operator #5 is?”

> “I’ve worked with him for a year. Even I don’t know who he is.”
> “He’s our boss.”

"He's our boss.

I know two things about him, he's good at his job, and he has an uncanny gift to get in the way of my time off."

> “I’ve worked with him for a year. Even I don’t know who he is.”
> “He’s our boss.”

You say, “He’s our boss. Shadowy kind of guy. Rarely gets out. Likes to plan a lot for potential invasions of the United States from various foreign powers.”

Rana nods. “Oh. Is he nice?”

“I’ve worked with him for little over a year or so. Even I don’t know if he’s nice or not. I pretty much don’t really know who in the heck he is,” you say.

Sumire nods. “He’s very strange, but he wouldn’t be our boss if he didn’t know what he was doing. Speaking of which, why are we getting called in? I thought it was our vacation?”

You slurp some pasta angrily. “Don’t remind me. He just said that there may be some pattern to this raid in accordance with some kidnappings. I don’t blame him for seeing stuff like that but I really wish he’d call on the other like ten or so Magical Girls working with the SSO.”

Rana nods. “Ah, I see.”

With dinner done, you start washing the plates as the radio plays some more background music.

Sumire naps on the couch, while Rana sits on the chair, gently listening to the music. You check the time. Eight thirty. You quickly and orderly put all the plates in their rightful spots then say, “Right everyone, to bed. We gotta get up early in the morning.” You shut off the radio. You flick Sumire on the nose, waking her roughly. “That means you too. Get in your own bed.”

Sumire puffs her cheeks, standing up and walking over to the bedroom. She immediately jumps onto the bed and is sound asleep.

Rana sits on the couch as you lend her a spare pillow and blanket. “Try and get some rest. Right?”

Rana nods. “Um. About the SSO. I’m not uh… particulary uh… I mean, is there any advice you can give me?”

I'm not sure. Just keep your head cool and stay close. I still want to get a closer look at your skill set before giving any real advice.

"Watch out for your teammates and they'll watch out for you. If you don't know something then don't be afraid to ask. Keep your eyes open, and pay attention to your surroundings.

And things sometimes get strange in our line of work, try to keep a level head."
>>
>>30359391
"Just go with the flow and do what you think is right. Don't worry too much about screwing up, our missions usually devolve into mindless violence no matter what we do."

“I'm not sure. Just keep your head cool and stay close. I still want to get a closer look at your skill set before giving any real advice.”

Rana nods, curling up in her blanket. “Oh, alright. You sure?”

You shrug. “Just make sure to watch out for us, we’ll watch out for you. Things might get a bit strange too, violent most of the time, but all that matters is keeping a level head through it all. Got it?”

“Yeah, got it.”

You nod, then turn off the living room light. “See you in the morning, Rana.”

“Good night.”

You walk inside and shut the door, then hop onto your bed. You look over at Sumire. She’s already fast asleep. No point in waking her at this point. You look at your bedstand, and atop it a picture of you and your father. Your father the day before he took a bullet for you.

You sigh, then lie down and cover yourself in the sheets. Sometimes you wonder what you’ve gotten yourself into.

You remain awake for some time, trying to catch some sleep. Finally, after a good half hour of twisting and turning, you fall asleep.

I'll make a twitter now, actually. And I'll start gathering up on some images.

Okay so combination attacks.
Sumire's 'heads up' is pretty fun, I'm wondering what we can do with Rana. Deflect her explosions around corners?
Rocket jump?
