Anderson says, tapping his finger on his desk. "That a rather large bar brawl occurred last night, in which quite a few NATO personnel were injured.""Whoa, is everybody okay?" You feign surprise."Nothing serious, but there's a lot of hurt pride." Anderson sighs. "And, this also happens to be at the same bar the two of you went to. Anderson was going to find out about it some way or the other."Yes sir, me and Bullseye were there.""And I assume one or both of you encounter Captain Cziommer, aka Gold One." Anderson glowers. "According to the Germans, some cocky American picked a fight with him.""That's bullshit!" Bullseye stands up. "He's the one who started it!"You just sigh and shake your head as Anderson grins mirthfully, his suspicions confirmed."Sit down, Bullseye, I'm not pressing charges, yet. The guy was beaten so thoroughly he can't even remember your face or your name." Anderson sighs. "Now give it me straight, what happened?"Bullseye then reluctantly tells you both how he was just milling about at the bar with Nungesser when he saw a knot of German pilots celebrating. He then managed to overhear one of them boasting about getting the two last aerial kills of the battle. Intrigued, he managed to shake off Nungesser and made his way over. He played dumb at first, trying to fish more details out of Gold One.(cont)
>>30402120>>Tell him the truth.I hope this includes the part about trying to prevent something when things boiled over.
>>30402611"And then, when I was totally sure it was him, I called him out on it." Bullseye sighs. "Then he retorted back some crap about how we have the luxury of not having half our country under enemy occupation and told me to fuck off. I tried to say something back and one of his goons shoved me into a pack of Marines, and the rest you can guess.""To be fair, Bullseye, the Germans this war IS a rather touchy subject for the Germans, considering they're bearing the brunt of the damage along with the Polish." Anderson closes his eyes. "With the exception of Alaska, the US has so far managed to avoid any direct attack from Russia, and we are goddamn lucky for that.""Doesn't give him an excuse." Bullseye spits."No, but it certainly gives him a motivation." Anderson retorts and then turns to you. "Pierce, how were you involved in all of this?""He didn't do anything, sir. He had no idea what I was doing-""ZIp it, Bullseye, I'm asking him."You take a deep breath and tell your end of the story, how you arrived in the bar, went looking for Bullseye, but was too late to stop the confrontation. Once the fighting started, you went in, extracted Bullseye, and got the hell out of there."Smart move, Pierce." Anderson nods. "Could have went down a whole lot worse than it did.">So what's the official word on the incident?>What's going to happen to Gold One?>What's going to happen to us?>Other

>>30402631"So, what's the official word on the incident?" You ask."Oh, well, you don't have to worry about that." Anderson grins a bit. "The whole thing is being written off as a bunch of pilots being drunk and disorderly. The usual thing. The worst anybody is going to get is a night in the lockup. As far as anybody else is concerned, the case is closed.""I see." You nod. "The girls, too?""They're safe. The MPs don't have the guts to go after a witch, anyways." Anderson chortles. Then, his expression darkens. "However, we have another matter to handle. A rather urgent one.""What kind of matter?" You raise an eyebrow."The details are classified. I can only divulge them if you accept the mission." Anderson sighs. "It's a rescue mission, behind enemy lines. It's extremely dangerous so participation is volunteer only. Are you in?">Yes>No>Other

Anderson nods and slides a folder out onto the desk for the both of you to see. "This thing literally popped up at the last second, so forgive me if out intel is a bit sparse.""What am I looking at, here?" You blink, glancing at the files and satellite images."Currently, the situation in Russia is a mess. To them, Berlin was supposed to be a sure thing. Now they've been pushed all the way back to Poland, and they're looking for someone to blame." Anderson sighs. "You know what that means. Purges, investigations, increased scrutiny all around. All of our NATO intel agencies are telling their operatives inside Russia to either hunker down or get the hell out.""And I assume some of them need a bit of help on the latter part?" You ask."Correct." Anderson sighs. "We had two high level assets ready for extraction in Poland, as well as a recon witch that got shot down shortly before the battle. They were supposed to be extracted by a local resistance cell...""... but something went wrong." You finish."Correct. Ten hours ago, contact with the assets was lost. Eight hours ago, the NSA intercepted a phone call to a GRU field office saying that they were willing to hand over three American agents.""That's not good." You frown."It's not. The CIA suspects that the group that was supposed to extract them flipped on them instead. Apparently American agents are worth a lot these days.""I can see where this is going..."(cont)
>>30403464"Additional intel the NSA managed to collect has given us a rough idea of the time and place of the trade." Anderson points to a map of Poland. "As you can see, it's pretty deep behind the border and is pretty damn close to a forward airbase.""What's our deadline?" You ask."Approximately 48 hours." Anderson answers. "You'll be using the Ghost Hawk for this one. It's already been shipped up here and is being assembled as we speak. It'll be ready to go in about two hours. We're also sending the Comanche along with you as support, but that's pretty much all you'll be getting. Anything else would get spotted or shot down. Also, Spectre Team will be accompanying you on this. You remember them from the Sokolov extraction?""Yeah." You nod. How could you forget those crazy Deltas? At least you were rolling with guys you were somewhat familiar with."It'd be ideal if you moved out as soon as possible, but I understand if you want to hold off for some more intel. We're getting in new data by the minute.""I see..." You nod.>We'll leave as soon as possible. Bullseye says as he runs off.You double time it back to the barracks, where you find Janice and Tarin, along with Red."Oh, Captain, look who's just been discharged!" Janice smiles. "Yo, Cap!" Red waves. "You miss me?""Sorry, no time for that." You sigh. Your witches immediately frown when they see the grim look on your face."Emergency mission. For that matter, you have to get geared up as well. Two hours later, you hustle out to the pad where the Ghost Hawk is waiting for you. You see the Deltas and Anderson already there waiting for you."Pierce!" Anderson calls out to you. "Come here for a sec!"You hustle over to your commanding officer."What's up, sir?""Okay, we've got the flight plan finalized." Anderson hands you a map. "You'll be touching down at a FOB we've set up near the Polish border. That will be the last chance you'll get to refuel and resupply. Your witches will be shipped by C-130 to conserve their magic reserves. The tradeoff is supposed to be happening at 0300 tomorrow, so you'll wait until sundown before inserting into Poland. Make sure you bring nightvision and IR gear."Got it." You nod."If we get any more intel, we'll try to send it out to you, but once you take off from there, you're committed. Got it?""Yes sir!""Ha! Well if it isn't good ol' Captain Pierce!" Lex laughs as he slaps you on the back fairly hard. "What the hell have you been up to?""Oh, you know, the usual, saving peoples' asses." You grin. "How about you?""Went on a wonderful tour through Ukraine. FIres, explosions, hijackings, you name it!" Lex grins stupidly. "It's a long story.""You'll have to tell it sometime." You grin back. They are quickly helped out of their strikers, which are hastily hidden away from sight as well. You're all then guided to a temporary trailer meant to be a sort of lounge. Janice sighs, getting up from her seat.Tarin just nods silently. With that, you venture out of the trailer. From where you are, you can already tell the FOB is a hive of activity. Construction crews are still busy at work erecting temporary structures, while squads of troops move every which way to set up defensive positions. You also note that there were quite a few witches about as well, no doubt sent down here to support the NATO advance. In the distance, you can see a hastily set up motorpool with a bunch of various ground vehicles scattered about. You also see a quartet of Abrams tanks you swear you've seen somewhere before.Nearby, you see a hastily set up landing pad, which was essentially a flat square of dirt, where a number of helos were sitting. And finally, there was the command post, which was the FOB's main link back to NATO Command as well as the bases in the rear.>Check out the motorpool.>Check out the landing pad.>Check out the command post.>Other

You hear a familiar voice. You turn and see Tiff, hands on her hips and a slight grin on her face. "Good to see you lot are still alive.""Same here." You grin back at the the tank witch. If the Russians are good at anything it's bringing more tanks than you have shells.""Same goes for their air power, too." You nod. "I see you didn't take any losses though, considering you still all four tanks.""Yeah, we were lucky on that front." Tiff nods."So whatcha been doing since then?" Red asks. Janice neatly folds hers up and stows it away in her temporary storage locker, while Tarin just hangs hers on a nearby chair. Janice turns a bit and you get a very good side view of her ample chest, held in check by a white bra. Janice stretches her arms out, further accentuating her curves before sliding into her cot. Tarin, meanwhile was still standing. You wonder what she's doing when you see her unclip her bra and then bends down. Red nods. After getting dressed, you double check to make sure you haven't left anything behind before exiting the barracks. You jog over to the command post, making sure to wave to Tiff as you pass by her. Upon reaching the command post, your way is blocked by a pair of very burly looking Army grunts. However, Silas pokes his head out the door, see's you and nods to the guards. They then step aside to let you pass."Now what can I do for you this fine evening, Captain?" Silas asks."I was just checking to see if my CO sent me any new intel concerning my mission.""Ah, yes, we did receive an encrypted file with your name on it." Silas hands you a sealed folder with the big red letters CLASSIFIED stamped on its face.(cont)
>>30407284You rip the seal off and take a look inside. Apparently, it was the latest satellite images of the predicted meeting area, as well as estimated enemy troop strength and composition. You don't like what you see. According to the images, as indicted by a bunch of red circles, the Russians had recently installed a number mobile SAM launchers, no doubt repositioned to account for the shifting front lines. In addition, the nearby forward airbase had about 500 personnel, of which about 150-200 were dedicated troops. The airbase itself hosted a squadron of Flankers for air defense, as well as a few helo assets. There were also rumors of witch activity, but nothing has been confirmed. In addition to the regular military forces, there was also going to be the GRU delegation that would be receiving the prisoners. Other than a few GRU officers, the exact composition of the delegation was unknown. If you were lucky, it was just going to be a bunch of pencil pushers. If you were REALLY unlucky, it would be an entire squad of Spetsnaz, because that's just what you needed to round out the day.Other than that, there was no new info."Thanks a lot. Are you sure that's it?""So far, yes." Silas nods. "Comms with Ramstein have been temporarily interrupted, though. It seems like some kind of commotion is going on out there."Are they under attack?" You blink."Thank heavens, no." Silas shakes his head. "But apparently, a witch stationed there has gone AWOL and nobody can account for her location.""Huh." You frown. "Well, good luck to them on that."You then exit the command post, where you're then interrupted by familiar, French accented voice."Captain! Captain!" You hear the voice hiss to your side."Nungesser?!" You blink as the French witch approaches. "What the hell are you doing here?""Well, when I heard you guys were going off on a super dangerous mission, I wanted to come see what all the fuss was about!" Nungesser grins.(cont)

You sigh."...and I want to make sure Bullseye makes it out okay." Nungesser admits. "But the first reason still stands! A Nungesser never passes up a chance for a fight!""This is a stealth mission, Nungesser, if you don't have the right striker-""I got it covered. She's already out here and yould use all the help you can get.and>>Radio back that we found her and that she'll be attached to our unit till we return. Do not mention the ops by name or type.
>>30407304>Show her the new intel>"Still want to come?">Bring her along. She's already out here and yould use all the help you can get.I beg of you do not make us regret this.>>30407269>HoutengekiAlright I'll have to check this guy out. Draws such squeezable asses
>>30407304>Bring her alongIt isn't like she'd listen if we told her to go back, anyway.
>>30407304>Tell her to go back. She's disobeying orders and it can get the both of you into trouble.
>>30407335>Ask her first how shes handling the acclimatisation to the new strikers. We can't babysit her out there. That's a good point really. Last thing we need to see her getting sick or trying to tough it out.

>>30407304"You're absolutely sure you can do this?" You ask. "There's going to be a lot of enemies, and have you even flown a stealth striker before?""Yes and yes!" Nungesser grins. "You think I've only been flying a Mirage in my long and storied career?""All right, fine, you can come, then." You sigh. "But I'm going to send a message back to Anderson so they don't keep freaking out." "Honestly, you Americans and Germans get worked up over the smallest of things." Nungesser laughs. "I'm not sure how the French Air Force rolls, but we don't exactly appreciate pilots or witches that disobey orders all the time." You sigh. "Whatever. Let's just do this!" Nungesser grins. With that, you lead Nungesser to your staging area. At first everybody is caught by surprise, but nobody protests. You suspect that, like you, they appreciated the extra support, especially for a mission like this."Honestly, Nun..." Bullseye sighs."Oh, don't be such a worrywart." Nungesser blows a kiss in your pilot's direction. With that, the Ghost Hawk, Comanche, and assorted witches take off and disappear into the night.>And that's it for tonight! Tune in next week for the next PJ Witches, and don't forget Cyberpunk Idols on Saturday and Magical Girl Hunter on Sunday!>Also, hopefully that Tarin art will be done soon!
