The year is 1938. The Great War has long past and now is the time for innovation, exploration and adventure.

Throughout the world, airships are now common sights, airplanes have become the flying car, and high speed trains rule the transportation industry. Men and women of derring-do travel the world in search of ancient artifacts and long-thought extinct animals. Technology becomes almost indistinguishable from the magic that exists in the world.

But not all is right. In the ruins of post-war Germany, a new power rises led under the banner of Adolf Hitler, threatening to destroy the balance of the world. To the far east, Imperial Japan expands and slaughters its way through China. Air pirates dominate the skies and prey upon the lifeblood which now flows through the air. The occult and the mysterious strike terror and fear into the hearts of many.

That’s where you come in.

The Magical Girls come from a mysterious background, nobody knows where they come from or who they are. All that’s known is that they are powerful beings brimming with magic.

You are Magical Girl Liberty, fifteen year old Christine “Chris” Hunter.

The World of Tomorrow needs a new kind of hero.

> SEPTEMBER 13, 1938 <
> ?? <

You honestly have darn idea where you are.

You could be in Italy, France, hell even in Germany for all you care. At least Lightning and Bomber are safe. Hopefully Mr. Joanes got the help he needed. Maybe they can still pull this off, you don’t mind giving up to beat the Nazis.

Then again, you did leave Lightning with the rest of the team, Lord knows that’ll go well.

There’s nothing but pitch black thanks to the krauts blindfolding you as you march into god knows where. You can hear Engelhardt speaking German to someone. The cool air hits as you can hear doors slamming and opening. You must be in a building.

Finally, someone roughly sits you down into a surprisingly comfy wooden chair. Your arms and legs are tied to the chair in the meantime. At least you’re resting now. Then, the blindfold comes off.

You’re actually in a very nice living room, fire in the fireplace, bookshelves filled with classic literature, dainty wooden walls, soft carpets, the works. Reminds you of Mister Savage’s place, if only because it’s lacking in animal heads all over the walls.

Engelhardt and the Four Kraut Girls greet you, smiling. “Liberty, I must apologize for our rough treatment of you, but you must understand that this is a secret establishment we have here,” says Colonel Engelhardt.

You look down, your arms are tied to the armrests, your legs are tied to the legs, your body is tied down as well, there’s an anti-magic collar on your neck preventing you from transforming. She’s definitely not taking any chances. Not like last time.

"Christine Hunter. Girl Scout, Troop 201"

Nazis are involved so it's close enough to WWII for me. We're officially a POW now, and even back then we had rights. Let's not be an idiot and ignore that.

In the meantime, work up ideas for an escape.

(feel free to change the troop number, I just rolled 3d10 for it)
>>
> “Where am I?”

You say, “Is your “secret establishment” so secret that I can’t know where it is?”

Engelhardt shrugs. “Let’s just say that it is one of many homes of the Reich’s own Magisch Korps.” She takes a quick drag on her cigarette, letting the smoke drift into your face. Haha, screw you, you sauerkraut sucking bit-

“Anyway,” says Engelhardt. “As is custom, welcome. We hope you enjoy your stay here, Liberty. Because like it or not, you’re here to stay.” Not on your life. Engelhardt turns to Knives. “Major, she’s all yours.”

Knives grins madly. “I am honored!” She turns to the other. “You heard her, get out.”

Rapier says, “Depraved yet always looking for privacy. Your mother must have dropped on your head as a child.” With that, Engelhardt and the three leave, leaving you with Knives.

“Now!” says Knives as she places a briefcase on a nearby coffee table. She opens it up to reveal a huge selection of tools, pliers, scalpels, knives, and a very long rod with a hook on one end. She takes this rod and runs it between her fingers. “I happen to be Colonel Engelhardt’s most favorite of her four. That means I get some-“ she leans into your face, her breath practically simmering on your cheeks “- personal time with the new arrivals.”

"sure, you have knives. Big deal. You didn't have to deal with velociraptors or pterodactyls last month - they've got claws as sharp as your knives. Just as big, too."

“I’m not scared of you.”

Knives’ grin gets even wider. “Good!” She hops onto the chair, kneeling in between your legs. Okay that’s a little close. “I’m not scared either! In fact, quite the opposite… I’m in love with you!”

… Okay, now you’re kind of scared.

“The first time we met on the Kleine Fraulein, the way you merciless beat us four, the way you hurt ME!” She bends the rod, giggling a little, getting hot in the cheeks. Okay, this is getting weird. “Oh, my. Liberty, I must say that I am eternally grateful to Colonel Engelhardt for giving me time alone with you.”

She runs her hand through your hair, you crane your head back to try and get away. “Oh, don’t be so childish, Liberty,” says Knives. “Your hair is so soft… your eyes are so pure… I wonder what your lips would taste like.”

Words cannot describe how utterly uncomfortable you feel right now.

Knives leans back a bit, bending her sinister tool into… a coat hangar. Huh. That was anti-climatic. “This is just for scaring people, turns out I don’t need it.” She tosses it away and then throws off her jacket, leaving her in her blouse. “Because now I finally have you.”

Oh boy. Time to think of something. Think of something quick. You look around and-

Kirby? Kirby is just sitting on a nearby armchair, tail weaving back and forth, looking at you. Knives doesn’t even acknowledge his presence.

“Just tell me what you need, Christine,” says Kirby to you telepathetically.

“Get help, Kirby!” you think at him.

Kirby tilts his head. “Alright. Is that all?”

You glance at the psycho lesbian Nazi about to take your virginity. “Yes,” you think. “Unless you’ve got any bigger ideas.”

Kirby nods, then hops off the chair and quickly runs out of the room.

Lot of help there, Kirby. Thanks.

“You’re welcome,” says Kirby.

Whatever.

There’s a knock at the door. Knives stops her lustful staring at you to glare at the door. “Oh, what could it be?” The knock comes again. “I’m busy!” yells Knives.

The door opens, revealing a heavily armed Gegenmagischtruppen. Although muffled through his gasmask, he speaks to Knives in German. Knives balks a bit, then looks at you, a bit saddened. “Jawhol,” says Knives. She steps off of you. Oh thank god.

“Sorry, but apparently you are to be sent downstairs,” says Knives. You’re not sorry at all. To hell with this. She unties you from the chair and starts frogmarching you.

Kirby says to you, “That’s the most I can do for you now. The rest you’ll have to handle on your own.”

You nod. It’s just Knives and this single Gegenmagischtruppen in this hallway. Your arms are tied up in front of you, but that just leaves your legs free.

You step on Knives’ foot. She yells in pain, recoiling backwards. The Gegenmagischtruppen raises his anti-magic rifle at you before you charge at him, knocking him over. You may not be a Magical Girl now, but you’re an American damn it, and if there’s anything Americans know how to do it’s how to break out of tight spots!

The Gegenmagischtruppen raises his rifle as he lies backwards on the ground. Nope. You jump on his gut, sucking the air out of him and stunning him. Then you finish it off with a stomp to the neck, either killing him or crippling him. Either way it benefits you.

Knives yells as she rushes you, knives at the ready. You spin around, missing her, then kicking her in the rear. She trips right into the wall, smacking her face against it and knocking her insensible.

You stand there. Did you really just do that?

Well hell, you’ll take what you can get at this point.

You grab one of Knives’ knives and undo your binds, finally you’re free. Anti-magic collar though is impossible to break though. That’s a problem.

Kirby reappears to you, sitting at your feet. “There are other Magical Girls imprisoned here. We need to rescue them.”

Kirby says, “They’re being held in a facility below this mansion. If you free them, I’m sure they can assist you in your escape.”

You nod. “Alright.” You pick up Knives’ anti magic knives. It feel tingly just holding them. “Okay,” you say. “Rescue the Magical Girls, that should be simple.”

Kirby nods. “I’ll try to help however I can. I’m limited in what I can do however.”

With that, you quickly shove the Gegemagischtruppen and Knives back in the room where you came from. No need to let the Krauts know you’re gone after all. Time to head downstairs.

You slink along the wall, knives at the ready. Thankfully, not all the lights are on. Thunder booms out the hallway, occasionally the hall lights up from the storm. Tonight’s quite a night.

You pause. Engelhardt. She’s speaking more German. Man, you wish you could speak German. She walks past your hallway down. You lean out to see her talking with a Storm Elite.

Ah, to hell with it. It’s not like you speak German anyway.

You continue sneaking your way through the mansion, occasionally passing a portrait of Colonel Engelhardt or Adolf Hitler. Very artistic people these krauts. You lean your head out to see a grand staircase leading to the front entrance. The doors swing open to reveal two Magischgrenadiers frogmarching a bound girl.

She swears at the two of them in Russian, an anti-magic collar around her neck.

Great. Communists. Lovely.

Regardless, you follow them silently. Occasionally they look behind them, to see nothing. Kirby’s taught you a thing or two about sneaking around.

Finally, they reach an elevator. Darn it. They descend down without you.

You stand at the elevator and look around. Surely there’s some way down there. You see a vent. It looks your size.

You bang your elbows and your knees against every possible surface as you crawl through the narrow tunnel that is this air vent. Why do people make air vents this big? Whatever. You crawl along on your belly, having managed to squeeze yourself through after dropping down.

You look down through a grate, a group of stormtroopers playing cards. Looks like one of them’s got an Ace High. You continue crawling through, trying not to make too much noise.

You get up to another grate. You look down to see a huge load of cells. A Magischgrenadier walks along the top of them, flamethrower at the ready. Inside the cell are quite a number of a Magical Girls, all sitting around, standing around quietly.

You bite your lip. Maybe that room back there was a security office. Of course, you could probably free the Magical Girls here and now.

> Take control of the Security Office (100 CRITICAL SUCCESS!)

You drop down the grate, smashing the table all the Stormtroopers are sitting around. They’re too surprised to grab their guns before you start attacking. You punch one in the face, knocking him heed over heels. Another pulls out his knife and tries to rush you only for you to turn around kick him in the crotch. He falls over, stunned and out of action.

The other three step back. One of them tries to go for the alarm, but you throw your knife at the switch, disabling it and sending sparks shooting out at him.

The other two Stormtroopers try rushing at you. Big mistake. You jump up and roundhouse kick the one on the left, sending him sprawling on the ground. The other tries slashing at you with a knife only for you to land, dodging it and headbutt him in the gut.

The last one pulls out his gun. You throw your knife at him, catching his heart and killing him instantly.

You sigh. Alright. Now you’re getting somewhere. You’ve managed to buy yourself a lot of time and even managed to secure the cameras, remote turrets in the prison, and even the armory. You disable the cameras, you disable the turrets, and finally you unlock the armory, much to the confusion of the two guards standing outside the armory’s door.

Suddenly, over on the desk intercom, someone yells in German. They must be trying to check in on them.

You hit the button and say, “Uh… Everything’s under control, situation normal. Everything’s perfectly alright here, we’re fine, we’re all fine now. How are you?”

The German yells over the radio. Must be realization at a prison escape. “Um, there’s no need to uh, come down here. We’ve got everything under control.” You pick up the dead Stormtrooper’s pistol quickly and blast the intercom, sending sparks shooting out as it explodes.

Boring conversation anyway.

You drop the gun and look around the Security room. You pick up a riot shield intended for CQB Gegenmagischtruppen. This will do lovely. You bust down the door and run out to the cells. The Magischgrenadier looks at you, surprised. He powers up his flamethrower however, blasting a bit of flame at you.

You toss your shield at him, he falls over, unconscious. That was easy.

You look down at the cells, a weary and tired group of Magical Girls look up at you, including the Russian from earlier. “Who are you?” asks one of them in a British accent.

“Magical Girl Liberty.”

The British girl confusedly narrows her eyes. “Beg your pardon?”

“One second,” you say. You rush down the stairs and down to their cell level. You start busting their locks with your riot shield and start letting them out, one group at a time. All of them thank you, beginning to chatter excitedly.

The Russian girl brings you in a big bearhug, almost crushing your ribs and lungs as she shouts in more of that Russian language of hers. Yeah, great, please let go.

The British girl says, “She says that she’s grateful for your help despite being a dirty Capitalist. If there’s anything she hates more than capitalists, it’s fascists.”

You nod, relieved that the Russian finally let you go. “Thanks, what’s your name?”

“Archer,” says the British girl. “This girl here is Winter.” Winter enthusiastically communicates in more Russian, to which Archer says, “She says she’ll gladly help any way she can.”

You nod. “Alright. You’ve guys have been here longer than I have though, is there anything I need to know?”

Archer says, “Occasionally, the scientists here pick up one of us from the cells and take us deeper into the basement.” Her features harden. “No one’s ever returned. Just recently they took a young girl, French I think, only two days ago.”

You bust the door down to the hallway leading to the Armory. The guards look at you, aiming their rifles, only to see that you’re backed up by fifty other Magical Girls. They look at each other, then promptly drop their guns and run the hell away.

Smart.

You all enter the armory and start grabbing weapons and ammo. Guns. Eh… guns were never your thing. Archer grabs a high-powered disintegrator rifle with a scope. Winter laughs as she grabs a man-portable gatling gun.

“I don’t understand,” says Archer. “There should be an alarm by now.”

You say, “I hit the Security room beforehand. I think I may have bought us a decent amount of time before everyone knows what’s going on.” You grab a belt of grenades and a new, smaller anti-magic shield. You also pick up an MP40 and sling it around your back along with an anti-magical machete.

Winter walks up to you, asking a question in Russian. Archer translates it as, “She wants to know we’re headed. I’ll go with you too. The other girls will hold down the fort here and wait for our word to head out.”

“Let’s go,” you say. You lead Archer and Winter out of the room.

You run past the cells and down where Archer tells you, deeper into the basement of the mansion you go. The basement becomes less basement and more underground laboratory as you start passing by pipes, computers, and other things. You remember Dad’s old lab, you shudder a bit.

Then you hear some rumbling from above. Archer says, “What was that?”

“I thought you said they’d wait,” you say.

“They did say they’d wait,” says Archer. Winter says something else in Russian, to which Archer translate it as, “The base must be under attack.”

“Who’d attack the Magisch Korps on their hometurf?” you say disbelievingly.

You continue until you reach a huge open lab of sorts. On the walls are papers and notes written and typed out in German. These could prove an excellent advantage.

You and Winter look at each other.

It’s on.

You quickly begin grabbing notes and stuffing them into a spare briefcase or bag, as does Winter, trying to outdo your pace. Archer simply stands guard. You look down at one of papers, “John Carter”. Name rings a bell, you’ll need to talk to Operator #5 about that.

Archer yells, “Are you all done? Let’s go!”

After all you’ve finished grabbing papers, you follow Archer further down the hallway. You enter in a doorway into an observation theatre, standing over a large surgery theatre. On two beds lie a Magical Girl, stripped naked and left unconscious. On the other a huge man, about as huge as the Storm Ace, magic being pumped into his veins via huge pipes and hoses. This must be how they make the Magic Troopers. Scientists are walking around, communicating in German, apparently oblivious to your presence.

Despicable.

Archer looks at you. “How do you want to do this?”

You sneak up behind a scientist, pulling him behind a counter and choking him of air. He falls limp, suffocated. Archer and Winter do the same, grabbing scientists around corners and around tables as well.

Finally, you get behind what looks like the lead researcher. He leans over the Magical Girl on the table, studying her like one would study a bacteria under a microscope. You grab him by the neck and slap your hand over his mouth and nose. He struggles against you as you force him down, choking him until he finally falls limp.

Archer says, “I think that’s everyone.”

And who said the stealthy approach was lame? Probably Lightning.

All of you stand next to the Magical Girl. You check her pulse. She’s still alive. You gently slap her cheek, saying, “Hey, wake up.”

The Magical Girl slowly opens up her eyes. “Eh, quoi? Ou suis-je?”

Archer says, “She’s asking where she is.”

You say, “We’re breaking you out of here.” You disconnect her from the needles and tubes sticking into her body. She flinches a bit. Winter makes her decent with a nearby bedsheet. Suddenly, you hear a flatlining tone, that must have been the…

You all turn to the man on the table. He groans as he sits up. The magic glows in his vein, his eyes turning pure blue as he looks at you all.

You smile nervously at him.

He roars at you, splitting your ears.

You run at, tackling him and sending him barreling through his surgical table. He roars in a huge deep voice, almost like an ox or animal. He tries to grab at you, only for you to step back and raise your shield, parrying it.

Archer and Winter raise their guns and fire at him, blasting him right into the wall. The anti-magic blasts and burns across his skin, but does little else surprisingly. Instead, he simply roars at being pushed back.

“Liberty! Hit him in the legs!” yells Archer.

You nod, raising your shield and bringing the sharp rim down on his kneecap. He buckles, kneeling in pain.

You pull a grenade out. Where shall you plant this?

You prime the grenade and say, “Open up and say Ah!” You shove the grenade into his mouth. He bites down on your wrist, you scream in pain. Archer grabs onto you and pulls on you, trying to get you out.

Finally, she does, and quickly she pulls you down and shields you with her body.

The grenade goes off, splattering the room in blood and liquid magic.

Archer yells at you, but you can’t hear a damn word she’s saying over this weird “eeeeeee” noise going through your ears. You point at your ear, and she simply rolls her eyes at you.

After she helps you stand back and with a minute of rest, you can finally hear her. “The hell were you thinking?”

You shrug. “Well, I just thought what my good friend Lightning would do in a situation like this.”

“Bloody Americans.”

The room is suddenly washed red as the alarm goes off. Winter yells, picking up the injured Magical Girl in a bridal carry. “We have to go!”

There are two ways into this lab, the way you came and another set of double doors. Through the way you came, a squad of Magischjaeger with gatling guns and giant shock prods come roaring out.

> Cover Archer and Winter’s escape (99)

“Go!” You raise your shield, flinching a bit, your wrist is still bleeding from that bite. Archer and Winter hesitate, before you yell at them again. “Go!”

They head through the alternate exit and run away. The Magischjaegers fire their guns at you. Your shield gets dented and burnt from their sheer firepower, but damn if it doesn’t hold. Frustrated, one of the Magischjaeger with a shock prod jumps down and charges at you.

You duck, slamming your shield into his chest and throwing him over you. He flies across the room and lands on his head, breaking his neck. Another Magischjaeger runs at you, firing his weapon point blank. Your shield blocks the shots enough for you to close in and bash the weapon away. You punch him in the face, stunning him slightly. He steps backward a bit, holding his face as you pick up the stunprod and stab it into his face. He convulses a bit, electricity shooting out of his eyes, then he falls over, scorched.

The other Magischjaegers balk at your skill, then make a hasty tactical withdrawal. That’s right, run you apes.

With your new stunprod you run down the hallway and then block the door behind you with the stunprod, slipping it between the handles.

“Archer!” you yell. Archer and Winter are standing around ahead. “What are you doing!? I said…” you walk up to next to them, then realize just why they’re standing around.

You shake your head. The poor men, all just walking around in their cells, banging their heads on the wall, sitting and staring forward. All of them completely deformed, their veins glowing with magical energy.

So this is what happens when transferring magic from a magical girl to a man doesn’t work.

“Come on,” says Archer. “Let’s go. We can’t do anything for them.”

All of you run down the room and down to the exit. You can hear more alarms go off as you run and start ascending up stairs.

Finally, you manage to reach the armory, the huge group of Magical Girls has managed to hold against an assault with no casualties. One of them asks, “Is it time to break out?”

Winter says something in Russian to Archer. Archer says, “Winter says that she saw a couple of planes and zeps parked outside the mansion in back. If we can get to them, we stand of good chance of getting out of here, but it’s really heavily armed and the guards are on alert. There’s also a nearby forest, it’s not as well guarded but we’d be exposed to aerial attack.”

I'm in favor of this. A fire would make a good distraction, and possibly let us pull the guards away from their posts.

> Make for the Planes

The mansion erupts into a huge fire, courtesy of bombs set by you and Archer. You burst out the cellar doors and out towards the backyard where a huge runway has been set. A trio of zeps, including the Kleine Fraulein are parked along with numerous P.75 Falkes, Warhawks, and Bf-109s. Spotlights hit you like second suns as gunfire starts erupting.

All the Magical Girls yell and whoop as they charge out, guns blazing. The guards, a smattering of normal stormtroopers and Magic Troopers engage them.

You make a rush for the Zep on the left. Maybe if you-

You’re blown back by an explosion. You cough a bit, standing back up to see your assailants.

“Well, if it isn’t our Yankee friend,” says Rapier.

“Hello there, American!” says Knives as she licks her lips. “Want me to kiss your booboo all better?”

You’re about to throw your shield at them before they’re suddenly scattered by a flurry of sharp strikes and… Thompson fire?

> MAGICAL GIRL LIGHTNING! <

> MAGICAL GIRL BOMBER! <

“Liberty!” Lightning and Bomber land behind you. You look back up to see the Sparrow, hovering just above you. “We’re here to rescue you!” says Bomber.

“Looks like you didn’t need rescuing in the first place though!” yells Lightning. She pulls out a collar breaker, courtesy of Operator #5 and tosses it to you. You take it quickly and break your collar.

The Four rush at you, Lightning and Bomber backing up and parrying blows from Sabre, Court Sword, and Rapier. Knives constantly presses against you, slashing away at your shields.

“Oh please, Liberty!” yells Knives. “Where is your game? Don’t you want to hurt me? To see me writhe in pain!?”

You yell, “You’re not right in the head!”

“Sanity is for the weak!”

She makes a thrust for your gut, only for you to smash away her knife and deck her in the gut. She bends over, coughing, laughing in between. You’re about to finish her off when you’re suddenly blasted away, your shield managing to catch the shot. You’re now separated from the rest of your Magical Girl allies.

Landing in front of you is a familiar sigh.

“Liberty,” she says. “You let me live back on Skull Island, I will not let you live here.”

As the Magical Girls all start transforming and start stealing planes and even a Zeppelin, you start sparing with Tiger.

You toss your first shield at her, smacking her in the leg and sending her kneeling.

You toss your second shield at her, smacking her in the chest and further stunning her.

Both your shields return, then start spinning up. It’s time.

Lightning and Bomber look down at her, having warded off the Four Nazi Girls a while ago and have relegated to helping cover the escaping Magical Girls. You run up to them, nodding quietly. Then you all look down at the Tiger, smoking with blue energy.

You say, “Bomber, carry her to the Sparrow.”

Bomber nods, grabbing the conscious Mecha Magical Girl Tiger and throwing her over her shoulder. “We’re taking her alive?” asks Lightning incredulously.

You nod. “If you’ve got a problem, voice it another time, we’ve got to get out of here.”

You all head for the Sparrow. Out of the hangar, a cable is dropped presumably for you to be lifted up in without risking a lower landing.

You’re about to reach out for it, when in front of you lands another familiar face.

> TIER 1 WUNDERSOLDATEN <
> THE STORM ACE <

Lightning growls. “You again! Why won’t you die!?”

You say, “Lightning, I-“

Lightning doesn’t want to listen as she rush at him. The Storm motions to grab her naginata, but instantly has his arm cut off.

All of you stand in shock as the Storm Ace looks down at his bleeding arm, then simply picks it back up and reattaches it. His arm moves and twitches as it had never been cut off at all. “W-What?” says Lightning quietly.

The Storm Ace is about to throw a fist down upon Lightning, before he is frozen in place, a great icy wind enveloping him. Lightning stands there in shock. You look over to see Winter and Archer.

You say, “You going to come with us!?”

Archer and Winter look at each other, then shrug. “To hell with it, yeah we’ll go with you!”

They run over and grab the cable. You look over at the Storm Ace, and to your surprise, the ice is actually breaking under the pressure of him breaking out. Not today. You spin your shield up to blue-hot intensity then bash him in the face, smashing it to bits.

Lightning looks at you, angrily. “Damn it, I was going to do that!”

“If experience has taught us anything, it’s not like that’ll stop him.”

Archer, Winter, and Bomber grab the cable. You bring your shield up, then Lightning hops onto it, allowing you to springboard her up into the hangar. You grab the cable along with everyone else, then feel yourself be pulled into the hangar right quickly.

“Hurry up you lazy bums!” yells Jeanine. Jeanine? What’s she doing here? “We got to get the hell out of here before they send reinforcements!”

You ask, “What are you-“

“No time for questions!” she yells. “Get on the guns! There’s a wave of P.75s coming in to smoke us and we need turret cover!”

You, Archer, and Lightning run over to the ball turrets on the bottom of the ship. You slide down the ladder and find yourself nestled in a basket full of quad 30mm goodness. You bring it over to see a flight of bombers escorted by fighters coming in fast.

“Messerschmidt 329s!” yells Bomber. “It can carry over 5 tons of bombs along with packing six cannons for armament and a seventh four a tail gun!”

“Yeah, no one cares,” says Lightning. “LET’S HIT THEM!”

You hit the trigger, blasting away at the Me 329s before they can unleash their devastation on the still parked Zeps and planes. You actually manage to lead one successfully, catching it on fire and watching it spin out of control and slam into a wingman.

“Woo!” yells Archer. “Scratch two krauts!”

The guns keep on firing as the Sparrow rises. Another bomber goes down. Fighters carrying Magical Girls start taking off, the fighters ignoring them in favor of buzzing around you and blasting away at your armored envelope. If there’s anything Operator #5 was good at, it’s being prepared. Not even their mine-shell ammunition could penetrate your hull.

Finally the bombers withdraw before releasing their payload. The fighters also back off, deciding this is too much trouble. One of the Zeps takes off full of Magical Girls. You peak up, your turret being in the bridge itself.

“We’ve managed to get the thing working!” yells the Magical Girl on the other Zeppelin. “Thanks for the cover!”

Jeanine nods, saying, “Good luck! Happy trails!”

“You too!”

The line goes dead then as your Zeps separate.

You climb out, feeling exhausted. You feel yourself transform back into Christine “Chris” Hunter.

Call Operator #5, let him know about the papers and notes we got from the lab.

Now I'm wondering if there is a Nazi Magical Girl themed off any of Hitlers crazy 'No, it must be bigger and have more guns!' ideas.

Magical Girl Maus.

> Talk to Archer and Winter

“Hey, Liberty, thanks for having us aboard,” says Archer. “Real nice of you.”

You nod. “Well, it’s nice having you two. You seem competent enough. I don’t suppose you two want to stick around and help us with our mission?”

Winter enthusiastically says something in Russian, making a hammering motion with her fist. Archer says, “Winter says she’s down with it. If she’s down with it, I’m down with it I suppose. We’ll have to be repatriated to the UK and Russia respectively though, but any help you need, we can give it to you.”

You nod. “Thanks. If you need to leave quick, we do have a Sparrowhawk in the Hangar bay you can use.” You yawn a bit. “Oh goodness. Tired.”

Bomber says, “I put an anti-magical collar on the prisoner and tossed her in one of the spare rooms.”

“Good, good, Bomber,” you say as you sit down and then lie back on the cool hard metal floor. Lightning looks at you funny.

“You okay?” asks Lightning.

You nod slightly, then close your eyes. Time for sleep.

Thank you for the running this! Along with the week-long Liberty run. Finally, a magical girl quest that isn't derived from a show and that doesn't suck.
