It is not nearly filling enough.

Despite the lackluster meal you feel well enough. As Uncle Hideo and the other Lawyers adjourn to more professional surroundings now that you were awake, he looked like he hadn’t had a good night sleep for two or three days, there is privacy in which you can actually think as you take stock of yourself. Granted, on his way out your Uncle turned off the main light, leaving the soft light in case you wanted to rest. He’s considerate, but his timing could have used some work...not that you thought you would need the light at the time.

Your name is Tsubasa Campbell, you are in a hospital in a suburb of the metropolitan sprawl of Tokyo. You are 24 years old, and you apparently got injured saving a great many people from a highly combustible and fiery death. More important...you feel...is the dream you had while you were dying.

There are always stories of flying toward a light, or familiar voices, or hazy visions of friends long gone, or even memories relived in the space between life and death. Your experience seemingly allowed you a glimpse at something wonderful. As dreams go, it was pretty great. Fly around space, witness a contest of cosmic gods, & feel like you’re big. A wonderful dream to be sure, having been short and tiny your whole life, you quite liked the feeling of becoming giant even if you were still dwarfed by being beyond comprehension.

Better than the dream you had in the hospital. You know nurses come to take blood in the wee hours of the early morning, you probably just imagined the visor and the catsuit, right?

2/2

Well, you’re alone, time to inspect the damage. It’s weird, for being impaled by flaming wreckage you remember almost no blood while you were being loaded into the ambulance. Pulling the simple hospital gown forward you glance down at yourself, wincing at the sight of more defined ribs than normal...you guess two weeks of not eating emaciated your already slim frame...no surprise there...wait.

What does surprise you is that there is no gaping wound, hole, or stitching in your chest above your right side. Replaying the last moments before you awoke in that really cool space dream, you clearly remember the sharp jagged thing flying toward you, burning inside of you after it tore through your shirts and chest, and pinning you to the sliding door as it finally decided to start opening.

There...there just isn’t enough light in here with the main fluorescents off. They said you were concussed. Either your memory is wrong or you just can’t see properly. As you grapple with these notions of worry, you start to feel itchy...not on your skin...inside. It passes a second after you take notice of the discomfort.

>Lie back down, get some sleep, you can’t deal with this now. Deal with it later, after they serve breakfast.
>Get up and go to the bathroom for a more well lit and detailed checking of your wound or lack there of.

Taking grip of the wheeled IV bag support, you move over to the restroom of your hospital suite, glad you are able to walk despite being off your feet for so long. Sudden frustration hits you, if you’ve lost weight then it’s probably gone forever. You eat like the guys you normally hang out with and couldn’t gain a kilo to save your life. Hell, even when you tried to get stronger all you wound up doing was getting more wiry without gaining any noticeable mass, now you are likely going to be concave instead of just flat, wonderful. It was fine when the others thought you were the tiny skinny guy, but now all of your friends know you’re a girl.

You weren’t trying to hide it like a big secret...you just dress the way you dress and act the way you’re comfortable. They never asked; well, Kaito did, and you figure Hitomi and Kentaro are too perceptive not to have noticed something but were just being polite and not saying anything. You catch something odd about your arm as you shuffle. The criss crossing labyrinth of scar tissue that was the reason you’ve always worn sleeves in the summer since that accident aren’t there. You hurriedly squeak the wheeled medical tool with you as you quicken your pace to the bathroom.

Pulling up your shirt you stare in awe at the smooth skin of your reflection. There is no stitching, bandaging, or scar on your right breast where you are certain the metal tore through you. More important, none of your scars are present. Your skin looks smoother now too, and is entirely without blemish. You stand there a moment, perplexed by the changes before lowering the gown and leaning against the counter.
>>

You feel much surer on your feet after a moment, but with a gnawing sensation of emptiness in the pit of your stomach.

Did Hideo arrange for skin grafts while you were out of it? Was there some kind of plastic surgery? Where you so torn up and burnt that they just up and did this too you without direct consent from you and on the national health care’s, your own, or Uncle Hideo’s yen?

Or...your dream?

No. That’s foolish. Stop being foolish.

The nurse is, of course, understanding of your continued hunger after being on a saline drip for two weeks. There is a bit of luck as this is one of the handful of hospitals in the area that we're attempting 24 hour seven day a week operational capacity (though with less staff everywhere but the ER during the third shift). Some kind of pilot program after a fluff piece in the news of a man who had a heart attack that wasn't properly diagnosed on a Saturday two years ago lead to a pilot program emulating parts of the European and American Hospital scheduling models. The point of all that, the cafeteria was still open after midnight.

You aren't sure which will arrive first, your meal or the doctor. While waiting you take a long look at the flower arrangement Hitomi left for you. Having been moved from your tray and onto the night table, it seems to radiate the calm of spring. It isn't the same as the one you blearily saw her dropping off with the others, you guess it started drying out and she brought a new one.

She is always a quiet girl, never shy...just reserved. You have no idea how someone like her and Hanako could come from the same household, let alone be twins. Guess it helps that they're not identical.

Her flowers are arranged brightly, playing with happy yellows and blues. You think she avoided her signature flare for reds and oranges because of the nature of your accident. Like the girl herself, the arrangement is calm, ordered, and not aggressive enough to draw attention just by being...it blends.

You're a little jealous of how traditionally feminine she is even by floral proxy. There's a longstanding joke about how she has a way with handling flowers in regard to her hobby and when redirecting her sister. Wait, hadn't Kentaro left a card?

Yes, there it is. Sealed in a white envelope and held in place under Hitomi's arrangement.

Breaking open the seal, you find a simple card hoping you feel better while also making a pun about baking pain & pan. Jus the kind of off beat and not quite pun he'd find mildly amusing. There is more than just a signature, he wrote something too.

'Campbel-san,
I wish you a speedy recovery and return, though I imagine you may be displeased to learn your secret has come to light. I would like you not to worry about any changes from myself in regard to treatment and behavior, I am certain you have your reasons for this arrangement and never thought it my place to pry.

You remain one of my few dear friends and I hope when you are well again, and if they are as understanding, that we can all go out for the Thursday Korean Barbecue Special at Searobal's again.

Your friend,

Kentaro Fukui'

You stare at the paper a minute, happy that the people in your life aren't being complete jerks about this...it could have gone over much much worse. How much of that for the whole of the group is because you were laid up in the hospital and how much is honest acceptance.

As you set the card down, you notice a young man in scrubs and a white coat hovering in the doorway to your suite.

"Sorry," he smiles, "I didn't want to interrupt,"

"Yeah, it's fine," you crack your neck and find your calm in the support of your friends in absentia, "so, I have a ton of questions,"

He nods and enters the room, lifting your chart from beyond the door frame and twirling a pen in his hand. He's tall, but slight in build. "And I have your chart and heaps of gratitude,"

"Hmm?"

"My son and his friend were at the convenience store two lots over from the truck fire," he pauses and nods his head, "Thank you,"

Odd, he seems young for someone to have kids running off to convenience stores...you brush it off to a trick of the dim light.

"So...what was I brought in with? Last thing I remember is getting skewered here," you point to your chest and the memory throbs, "but I don't have any scarring...in fact I've got no scarring...at all. That morning, this," you raise your right arm high, "Was layered in spider web,"

He nods and flips through your chart and papers and tissues a moment.

"No lacerations reported on your intake. Severe concussion, suggested collapsed lung, broken ribs, wide spread first degree burns, 3 second degree burns," he rattles through the list, "severe bruising, and a notation of the existing scars on your arm and legs,"

He stands still and pulls out a pen light from the chest pocket of his jacket before closing the curtain before the door.

"Let's have a look at that arm and your burns,"

You nod mutely and display the arm. He makes a clicking sound with his tongue and Huns to himself whenever there is something of interest on your arm or the burn on your chest that was supposedly where you remember being skewered. Smooth healthy skin is all he can seem to find.

"This is incredibly curious," he leans back up to his full height as you replace your gown after his observations, "I can call up your blood work, but I'm not the attending for your case. I would, however like to speak with him in the morning, and maybe your normal physician if they can make themselves available,"

Incredible...he reacts to a mystery with casual curiosity? Well at least he isn't putting you under glass or trying to dissect you.

"Knock yourself out if you can stay awake long enough, definitely bring the blood work." You flop back hard into your bed and groan in frustration.

"There's another thing," he say.

"What?" You drawl before he prods you sharply in the side with his pen light, "HEY! What was that for?!"

"That should have left you screaming in pain, much like falling on your back like you just did should have,"

"...right, my ribs," you try to remember how fast those should heal, "Is this anything I should be concerned about? Did I get skin grafts or something while I was out?"

The doctor shakes his head.

"Not according to your char, and nothing we could do right now would look this good, this quickly for your older deformities," he nods his head and steps to the door, "I don't think it's anything to worry about, in fact, you might want to appreciate it."

"Appreciate what?"

"A chance to redefine yourself. It can't have been easy living with those scars," he laughs, "considering the hell that is other people. Enjoy the miraculous recovery. You can thank The Lord, you can thank Buddha, and if you don't believe in them you can always thank Kamen Rider,"

There it is, a stunned silence. You'd arranged your mannerisms around your scars. Pants and long selves of the boy's uniform instead of the girls in middle school. You couldn't risk anyone seeing you legs back then...you couldn't rely on socks and stockings were too thin to hide it.

It's why you started acting like a boy.

...now...

"Good night Miss Campbell, I'll see you in the morning with your blood work," he extends his hand beside the door, returning the chart to it's resting pocket.

Leaving you alone with your thoughts.

As you sit and try to wrap your head around these...things...your mind wanders back to your dream and the presence of the gods. It isn't long before the world goes dark to the pull of listless slumber. You are rocked from the earliest vestiges of sleep when the lights snap on full and bright as the nurse from earlier enters. She pushes a trolly with a steaming hot and large katsudon bowl and a liter bottle of some chilled tea, possibly Oolong.

Regaining your bearing and thanking her, you ask if any of the papers had any articles about the explosion. Cheerfully, perhaps too cheerfully for someone working after midnight, she says that they'd been saving papers for you if you woke up, you apparently saved many lives. She wouldn't be surprised if NHK or one of the cable channels wanted to interview you.

Celebrity? With your gender role defiant lifestyle? Yeah, that'll go over well. They'll probably ask THAT question, you hate THAT question as much as you are annoyed by the answer.

You enjoy the meal, it's satisfying and warm. The drink is cool and plentiful, and you destroy them both all too quickly for your own liking. As she takes away the empty tray and bowl after setting down the collected papers, she notes your IV is drained early. It should have gone for another two hours at least.

"And there doesn't seem to be any leaks," she hums to herself...how can she smile so much? "Ah! I've got it!"

The young nurse turns on her heel and points an accusatory finger at you.

"You were so hungry that your body just drank the bag down!"

"What?!" What?! "No! I mean, how does that even happen?"

She giggles, "Relax," she points to a plastic tab around the tube leading away from the bag, "The flow regulator was probably just loose. You'll be fine. In fact, I think I'll unhook you from the bag now, but I'll be leaving the stint in. Is that okay?"

>>30802582
2/2

"Yeah," you manage to calm down and laugh a bit at her joke...horrible worry it give you aside, "not like I have much choice, right?"

"Mmmm," she thinks, "Nope!"

She flits about the room, disposes of the bag, and frees you from the plastic tubing but leaving the small valve tapes down to your unscarred arm.

"If you're still here tomorrow night and need a midnight snack, I'll be this floor's nurse on call, Tomoko Tomoe!" She smiles as she turns to the door before looking back one last time before heading off to her next page, "Let's be friends, Campbell-San,"

"Uh...yeah, sure,"

She leaves, and you're alone with the papers. You've had a full day...for the few minutes you have been awake. Settling down in the bed, you decide to get some real sleep and not some comatose drifting.

As you close your eyes to go to sleep, you feel yourself again floating in the cold dark expanse, clad in viscous red and black. Even without seeing it, you can feel the hue on your skin.

Your eyes slide open expecting the infinite majesty of light and the cosmic waltz, and you are greeted by empty darkness for as far as you can see. The black and red tightens and relaxes against your skin in response to your sudden disappointment and confusion.

Best roll of relevant dice in your Pool: 12 on your ETERNAL die.

Difficulty was 7.

Every 2 points you exceed a Difficulty is a degree of success. You can spend degrees of success 1 of 3 ways.

1. Add a descriptor or factor of cool to your described action or ask one more question about goings on if you are testing your general knowledge/awareness/perception.

2. Bank them to spend as a 1 for 1 bonus on a future roll.

3. Bank them to spend in large groups to upgrade your dice by one step (paying in cost equal to the total number of sides of the next die up) or purchase a new die at 1d4 for 4 Banked Degrees.

Tentatively flexing your will from memory, you feel resistance against your second skin, what should you even call it, anyway? Armor, blood? Something cooler? Right now it doesn't matter.

After hovering up and down, you bank back and dice off into the black. At first you have no points of reference beyond your own whipping longer red hair and the swirling black of blood red of your covering.

Eventually, you see a lancing comet cross your path and head with increasing velocity in some direction below. Flipping mid flight you follow the streaking light before it can again be lost in the dark.

It's about the size of your fist, and instead of ice, it's tail is crackling energy.

Following it for a while, just behind no matter how hard you push, you realize it is traveling along a very wide and long arc. It doesn't take much for you to leave a trail of your suit behind you, giving you reference enough and time enough to find the subtle pulse of force it is orbiting.

Breaking from pursuit you rocket toward the center of it's orbit, and after a long time in the dark at your fastest, you see it.

Much larger than the comet is some kind of binary star, each on just bigger than your head but shining brightly. It doesn't hurt to stare into them. They are not hot as you approach, and one distinctly makes you feel prickly to look at, the other feels null.

Approaching the binary system, you very away from the drawing prickle and gentle gravity of one of the suns in favor of its co-orbital null. As you draw toward the null sun, you note it gravitational pull is heavier than the other despite relatively similar size.

You are amused for a moment, that you are now large enough to clutch a star to your chest in this dream, while when you were dying, you strained to grow to four times your natural dimensions. It's funny, from this scale and proximity these suns seems smooth and near to solid as opposed to roiling spheres of plasma. Are you so large here that such details have become invisible?

Have you come so near to the scale of the cosmic beings you could not directly perceive that the details of space that would dwarf your earth as inconsequential? This grants you a trilling elation, tilting your head back to laugh and exalt in this dream.

As you look up, you spot the distant twinkling path of the comment you followed, circling these binary stars. The comet that seemed to repel you circling a prickly attractive and heavy null star.

...wait...

You consider that the null sphere floating before your chest might not in fact be a star, nor it's partner. You consider the illusion of size and scale that mocks you. You thought you had grown from a more of dust to at least the size of an ant at the feet of the gods whose clash you witnessed...instead...instead you are mocked with the inversion.

Here before you is a representation of the smallest state of matter as you know it...and this close...if you can get smaller or alter the size of your eyes then you could see into quarks or smaller yet theorized particle bases of reality.

Even if this is all a hallucination, the ideas you can extrapolate from it are limitless. With little head you reach forward and grasp the neutron with an urgent will, in doing so you rend it from its orbit with the proton.

The infinite black of microscopic space burns white and bright, the energy of the release consumes you. Your last unconscious thought was of how you couldn't have split an atom at point blank range were you big enough to juggle stars.

Waking with a jump, your body feels like it's burning and you find your arm restrained with the extra presence of a needle in your left and window side arm. The figure in the catsuit is there again, rapidly pulling away a vile of your now burning bright red blood. It jumps away for the window, dropping the vial that starts to melt through their black tacti-cool gloves.

As it falls it bulges and misshapes while giving off red and yellow orange light. The figure is in the window as the melting container splashes upon the floor halfway between there and your bed.

Splashing as thick milk or sauce at a hundredth of the more natural liquid speeds, the center rises up as the crown of the splash arcs about a four in diameter on the rapidly scorching tile. Tip and crown freezing for a moment the entire room glows white for an instant before the rushing of force and air hits you before the sound of thunder.

Your hospital bed is blown over, taking the brunt of the heat and force that blackens the exposed remainder of the room, fusing shut the fire sprinkler that dribbles uselessly as it again becomes dark and you crawl out from behind your ruined barrier. Kicking through the charcoal ember remains of the door, fire extinguisher in hand, is Tomoko. She takes in the scene in confusion, the outer wall of your hospital room gone and the deep blast crater that doesn't quite bore to the level below where there used to be a tiled floor.

Awareness fills you as your body forces the still embedded needle and docking bay out of your left arm whilst the stint remains in your right, you feel the black and red underneath your skin.

A new ability rated at 1d4 has been unlocked for purchase under ????. This ability's name is ???

If there are any 1d4 abilities, titles, or sentences you would like to suggest for purchase at this time the floor is open. Overly complex or improper suggestions will be vetoed at the Gyoji's discretion.

You have 5 Banked points, so you can buy 1 1d4 new ability at this time if you so choose. Or you can maintain your bank for later.

You can also use this space to brains time abilities for the so far named categories.

ATOMIC POWA

Yes, this seems like a great and healthy idea. We should buy that.

Or more simply Atomic Manipulation.
>>

So this is a time to suggest low level abilities? Like could I suggest a simple enduced sleep so we can enter our dream/god meeting state whenever we feel not just when we can sleep?
>>
>>30808029
You can name abilities for Learned, Backround, and Body
>>
>>30808029

>Titles

Curious Cat, really we're gonna kill ourselves.

"Oh look an atom! WHat if I touch this part"
>>
>>30808091
I wouldn't be surprised if that fell under our Eternal ability.
>>
>>30808220
Eternal is a defining trait of who Tsubasa has become. It has limited use in the physical world, mostly it is rolled when you face mortal danger that would end your current existence in space. It does have other applications.

Applications of your 1d4 ability can include examples like:
-award winning marksman
-extreme physical endurance
-I watched Les Misrebels without crying
-I cried during caddy shack
-i know kung fu
-I happen to be an expert on this topic
-So I'm into this Cosplay thing
-Brawling
-bare knuckle brawling
-boxing novice

Conversely you can spend a variable amount of points to change a descriptive word in one of your abilities, but not right now.
>>
>>30808380

-I can read people

So stuff like this? Also reading people would be cool
>>
>>30808495

Ah, character sheet updated for story purposes. As of the last conflagration, Tsubasa has lost another 5lbs.

Also, quite astute observations about the nature of the unlocked power.

Also, on rare occasion, you can lower a die in exchange for it's purchase vale in points. Example, you can downgrade enviable metabolism from 1d10 to 1d8 and get 10 points. These temporary points can only be spent on something like or similar, like upgrading Power, or buying another body & appearance skill.
>>
>>30809020
Also, you could liquidate part of your trust fun to pursue investment, or purchase property, or buy something important enough to have its own die.

Or you could be slowly working through your childhood trauma through role play choices to lower the die.
>>
>>30809266

This is gonna be fun.

DO we have a licence? Or could we use the 5 points to get one/retroactively have one?
>>
>>30809290
You do have a drivers license, though currently own no car.
>>
So we meet the 4 guardian beasts and two fightin gods who are waiting for us to get back. We can meet other gods right? We should go wander into random temples and take naps
>>
Wait...did the height on the character sheet increase since last thread?
>>
>>30809414

WAIT! If we have enough points can we make ourselves taller? And if we use up points from the metabolism like he said we won't be the physical equivalent of middle school girls!
>>
>>30809467
That might be a little hard to explain.
>>
>>30809666

Ok, ok we'll make the effect take hold over the course of months, making sure to see our friends regularly while claiming to be working out a whole lot. We can make this work
>>
>>30809666
Neither is plasma hot incendiary blood, but it is viable. You could expand it into a sentence or descriptor under body. For example: Amazon Physique, or Late life growth spurt, or Jotunbrud, or Kin of Kyojin.

>>30809414
Yes, 2 inches actually. During her two week fugue, Tsubasa grew 2 inches and lost 5 lbs.

Elfin Grace could be nice though..

Though I'd still like the mystery box.

Are all available for purchase. What do you wish to buy? You have 5 banked so you can buy 1d4 in any one.

At this time you may also reduce 1 non core or ???? ability by 1 die size with appropriate reasoning/justification to gain that die's point cost to spend on thematically similar things. You may vote on what to lower now or discuss it and vote on that after your currently available points are spent...if you want to make an adjustment right now or spend you points at this time.

Vote open for the next 30 minutes.
>>
>>30810339
Obviously we are fueling our strange growth and powers, growing power need to eat!

Though if we were to move physical traits around, I might suggest something more like 'Curvaceous', since the first thing our heroine was concerned about was looking less feminine after seeing her decreased weight.
Could later upgrade to 'Curvaceous Amazon' if we want to take that step, but just fleshing out a bit will seem natural enough since we his what we used to look like many may assume that we always looked that way hidden under the man-clothes.
>>
>>30810409

I want to reduce our metabolism and use the points to buy >Late Life Growth Spurt

and using our 5 buy >Curious Cat, really we're gonna kill ourselves

because we both know /tg/ is gonna keep at it
>>
>>30810409
>Amazon physique
this option has awoken my musclegirl fetish
>>
>>30810409
I'll go ahead and vote to reduce Metabolism by a step and increase Curves with those points.
Which if I under stand right, the decrease would get us 10 points dropping Metabolism to 1d6, which we could spend fleshing out our self out 4 for 1d4 and then 6 for 1d6. Yes?

Then put 4 of our banked points into the mystery box.
>>
>peers at the sheet
Hm, actually.. if I understand this right, could we spend 6 points to drop 'Androgynous' from 'Pretty Androgynous'?
And put 4 into growth?
>>
>>30810542
Reducing Enviable Metabolism by 1 step turns it into a d8 and nets you 10 points. You can buy a Bodily Thematic ability for 1d4 points and upgrade it to 1d6 with the 6 remaining points...or by another 1d4 power or upgrade another 1d4 power.
>>
>>30810877
Ah yes, I forgot the noble d8.
>>
>>30810854
You would only drop the die size, alteration to the wording are not available at this time.
>>
>>30810916
Are there any issues with conflicting traits?
For example, Androgynous and Curvaceous would seem at odds with each other.
>>
>>30810916
Wait.. could we take points from that entirely and put that into other things?

Damn. Big changes indeed.

Would 'Everything is perfectly normal', or similar, be a valid ability for making people less likely to go WTF at various changes?

This is making more and more sense as we learn about our abilities.

Personally, I'm curious to see how long we can avoid the full bore.
>>
>>30810957
The changes would not be immediate and would happen over time. Also I have known some otherwise curvaceous trans guys who were pretty stacked but still passed. Over time, I imagine you might buy off pretty androgynous or change it.

I will say this, Pretty in that word is not the synonym for very.
>>

Full bore in that their presence will be blatant, not that I will be intentionally lewd things up.

Besides, you lot managed to hit one of the notes I was hoping to bring in later rather early and earned it as one of your ??? Powers currently unlocked but not named as far as you know.

Anyway, I intend to be a good steward of this Dohyo, sacred ring of contest. Built of clay and laid with bales of rice draw before it is blessed and salted by the competitors.

To conquer in the contest between gods, raw strength is only part of the equation. Guile, Agility, martial skill, and the momentum to back then are each also separately important. I am glad to see you begin to walk the path of a champion.

So, what do we think are the magical realms we've skirted so far?

Sweeping long hair
Hair dye is for non-magical chumps
Down+B=Slide
College connections

Also, the die sizes go from 4-6-8-10-12-14-16-20, is that right?
>>
I will tally the listed intent and update the sheet later today. If there is any contention and the thread remains, I will return with such news.

>>30812058
I expect several paths to getting huge will be obtained and composited as this quest proceeds.
>>
>>30814583
So are there actually actions that have a DC of 2-4, or are 1d4 powers only useful for roleplaying purposes?
>>
>>30814818
There are low DC's, 1d4 represents a low entry into a skill, power, or state. additionally, dice explosions are cumulative with their base and you are more likely to achieve successive explosions with smaller dice.

Your roll in the pool that counts is the singular highest. An explosion chain can help even a meager d4 rival the mid range result of your character trait.

This is why 1d2 is not in use.
>>
>>30814893
I think you're gonna have to pastebin the mechanics at some point, I don't think I know what dice explosions are.

So far there's:
-roll for every trait die related to the task, first rolls taken.
-dice explosions
-degrees of success
-ways to spend points
-how new traits manifest
>>
>>30814933
Dice explosion: you roll max on a die.
Benefit: you reroll that die and add it too the originally exploding roll to generate your total for that first roll. If the re roll is max, it explodes again. This means your total on a 1d4 can't be 4, because if it explodes you have a minimum possible result of 5.
>>
>>30815015
oh, like bowling.

the statistician in me wants to attempt to calculate what's the ideal explosion rate vs. die size ratio
>>
>>30815042
Well, I did a bit of light crunching, and a bunch of d4s is seriously superior if the DC is around 10.
>>
Enviable Metabolism is reduced by 1 step and will become 1d8

Your 10 points are invested into gaining Curvaceous with no modifying text or statement (would you like to add more to this description) at 1d6

You spend 4 points to gain
Everything is perfectly normal. At 1d4

Tsubasa doesn't know it yet, but she's recently lost a total of 10 or so lbs worth of actual mass, but grown 2 inches in height so it both looks more pronounced and she has actually gained some weight in bone, making her current loss all the more dangerous is she were still a normal human.

You have passed up the ability to learn how to control your incendiary potential at this time, but the path remains open.

Tsubasa is aware of the red and black hiding within her in the real world, it feels just like it did when she was in Macro and Micro Space. Would you like to identify your ??? Powers now or discover the powers you do have access too through play?
>>
>>30815562
Is all of this agreeable at this time?

You will be able to spend points in session during down time, time skips, and under certain situations of extreme duress. You will always be allowed to spend points during the end of a session.

You can lower a die during time skips and at the end of a session with justification, and spend those points then. Points gained by lowering a die cannot be stored to improve rolls and all unspent points disappear.

You can lower some dice through roll play actions, like intentionally divesting part of your trust fund into new investments.
>>
>>30815600
Sounds good. We'll figure out her powers through play.
>>
>>30812058
Muscle Girl can be attained by naming body or learned skills that tie into physical training/lifting or getting buff, amazon, or huge. Or you can also raise your power above d4 as it is basically your strong stat.
>>
>>30813956
There is nothing secret about Tsubasa's love of Sumo & Wrestling. Those photo books have been on Tsubasa's low table in the center of her apartment. Even the Women's sumo book, which most traditionalist dismiss in Japan. Especially since there was a recent ban on official Women's Sumo organizations in Japan. Meets and small events still happen, but wider organizations were disbanded in Japan and discouraged, politely, from activity. This was done under suggestion that it would be insulting to past generations and the ancestors to allow change to the exclusion of women in the tradition of official sumo.

Tsubasa is not a fan of ultra traditionalist or ultranationalist right politics, I imagine.

Like all things this far, you can choose to change that.
>>
>>30815562
>Would you like to identify your ??? Powers now or discover the powers you do have access too through play?
I imagine she would be trying to figure it out as well now, so if the ???s are something she can become aware of without too much trouble, might as well move it right along.
But if it would be tricky to figure out, I'd say wait for us to puzzle it out.
>>

Me, I could support a lot of this thread >>30797023
Though I'm not adverse to Amazon-scale.

If we dye the hair black this would be perfect for us early on, if the changes take awhile

Heh, human.

You know damn well what I meant asshole.

Mighty cosmic, divine god being with untold powers but a human one ya know?

I know what you meant, I only jest.

as sad as I am that it looks I'm shelving one of the eventual plans I prepared for, I am still happy with our vector.
>>
>>30824747

Joke all around but now I'm curious as to what this plan is... Come on you can tell us
>>
>>30824884
the basis of this quest is obvious, and while I am fine and delighted going muscle girl route, though I have dropping hints of one of my intentions in both my name, Tsubasa's interest, and the Opening out of body imagery of godly clash. I will lament the loss of Yokozuna Tsubasa, Oh well. I'll get over it and we've got more transformation, SoL, and intrigue to go through. The genesis of this quest and where it is going are different things, in that I intend to play things straight, despite how magical things became without my direct influence in the first thread.
>>
>>30825168
so what you're saying is that you're chubby chaser

absolutely disgusting
>>
>>30825225
Not exclusively, being cut enough to scratch a diamond is fine too. So are any number of other things, so many other things.
>>
So right now we are working up toward avatar korra, then we'll go up to Gogo, then what? Focus on powers? We know the red and black can lead to weird stuff, could we use it too melt n' shapeshift?

You should probably read the thread bro.
>>
>>30826013
We aren't she hulk...yet, hell we've probably still got a few weeks in quest being anorexic skinny but bottomless before we start filling out to firm girl levels. Though we're already off base from the original pitch the QM picked up after it was suggested.

https://archive.foolz.us/tg/thread/30631874/#30632834 like super far off base. But it doesn't matter because we have super powers we barely know how to use an plenty of skills to help us investigate the company whose tanker exploded...Zaire our first clues (Tomoko's newspapers) went up in smoke, but we can brainy this up before we start smashing things. Let's go her Tsubasa's Jen Walters on!
>>
>>30826143
wat
>>
>>30826179
We can still do skillfull detective stuff before we start she hulking around because we have a shady company to investigate. Gyoji keeps mentioning "in time" and how this transformation isn't immediate.

Plus we know a guy's been sneaking into her hospital room and stealing blood.
>>
>>30826258
not that
more the investigation and the sneaking and stealing
I think you might just be the most paranoid anon ever
>>
>>30826334
but...

Stealing blood in our sleep.
>>
>>30826258
hey dumbass, did it ever accered to you that maybe, just fucking maybe, they were taking blood samples? hmmmmmmm?
>>
>>30827849
If a creepy ninja thing is taking blood samples under cover of darkness, it is still stealing our blood.
>>
>>30829792
Or a nurse on the night shift.
Which one is more likely, hmmm?
>>
>>30830771
Figure in a visored catsuit draws blood and heads out the window. Not described as wearing nurse uniform or scrubs.

Figure returns in dead of night and flees out of open window.
>>
>>30830832
Lawyers offering stay at possibly proprietary rehab facility with expenses paid along with settlement even though we might not have potential grounds to sue. Mysterious tanker accident that should have killed us leaves no scars $ removes old ones, then our blood goes plasma bomb.

I think Tsubasa is in over her slowly rising head.
>>
>>30830886
Don't worry, her soon to be big but perky boobs and firm bubble butt will keep her afloat.
>>
>>30830832
Meh, we can just ignore it and it'll go away.

>>30830886
Then again we might have grounds to sue, better safe than sorry for them.

The second one is obviously her godpowers.

Huh. Sumo has weight categories.
The more you know.

Could still compete, with some strength and skill.
Mainly internationally though, what with the restriction in Japan, but still, it's a thing.

And once we get tough enough, we could still go up against the big girls in Open competitions.

>>30836738
I'm hoping we can develop form 'presets' that we can more rapidly switch between, them we could have a full-on strongfat sumo alter-ego that dominates competitions, and spend our time off as Atomic Musclegirl and fight.. I dunno whatever it is we end up fighting with superpowers.
>>
>>30836888
That is a sound idea.

Hey now, strongfat is just referring to a body-type.
Heavily built and tends to naturally develop and be able to carry a lot of muscle-mass under their equally natural fatty tissues.
Male examples include many competitive caber-tossers and weight-lifers. actor Michael Clarke Duncan, and fictional character The Kingpin.
Female examples include British medal-winning sumo wrestler and Guinness record-holder for for heaviest sportswoman Sharran Alexander (pic related), and most stereotypes that come to mind for large viking/Swedish women named Brunhilde providing a punishing beat-down/massage.

>>30837234
You are welcome, anon.

>>30838688
if it's anything like the woman in that pic I don't want it
gotta have at least an 8 pack
>>
>>30838784
Ergo, we switch between alter-egos.
'cause in the long-run, people are going to, at some point, notice that we look like >>30820461
with more muscles and fiery red hair.
..which my make it harder for us to enter competitions.

What can I say, when I can, I'm a strong follower of the 'Why not both?' school.
>>
>>30838991
Have your cake & lift it too so to speak?
>>
>>30838991
maybe, but anything fat is just disgusting imo.
we're a god, we don't need to enter competitions at all. We should be fine with just muscle.
>>
>>30839198
Aye.

>>30839236
Not sure we count as a god yet, though increasing power is likely to happen if anyone besides me was interested in the mystery boxes full of power and explosions.

Besides, the character has an interest in sumo, so I'll support sumo-based options. Just like I'll support curves and amazon since she was concerned about flatness and shortness.

I'm all about character interests.
>>
>>30839457
unghghghg
well OP did say he was interested in it
lets please keep it lightweight class
>>
Hell, I'd take the character home as she is now, so all of ya'll headed in a different direction than my interests, but the quest concept is pretty neat.
>>
>>30839492
Well, eventually the super-muscle will be dense enough that we'll be competing in heavyweight or open.
In either event, even middleweight seems more wiry than heavyset, from what my research is bringing up.
Ms. Alexander, as the record-holder, literally defines the far-end of the scale for strong and heavy.
>>
>>30839819
yes, lets not be fat, but have superdense muscles
this is perfect
the perfect plan
I love you anon
>>
>>30843226
>yes, lets not be fat, but have superdense muscles
