You are Gertrude Pool, Sophomore Class President and new commander of Lafayette Girls Academy’s revived Tankery Team.

Last night was amazing. Then again, any night with Kitten is amazing on its own, but getting to run around in a Patton costume while whipping Kitten’s ass is fun as a hell.

You yawn a bit as you get dressed, buttoning up your blouse. November. It’s going to get a heck of a lot colder, and judging from the falling leaves from the trees and the slight chill that sends bumps on your skins, it’s time for a coat.

You put on the Tankery trenchcoat and wrap your school scarf around your neck. Underneath that is your school uniform, with sweater vest. Looking stylish for today’s demo of the Skycraft team.

Strange though, you’re missing some of your nice panties. You might want to look into that.

> SUBQUEST UNLOCKED

You leave your house and walk to meet your crew. “Hey there,” you say.

Lisa nods. “Have a good time last night?” she asks.

German, you need to update the tank assignments on Rifle and Animation Club.

Also did the T-34 mount a heavy machine gun on the turret, I tried to look at all the tanks we have that mounted one and all I could find was the Panver IV and Stug which mounted a regular MG34 on the turret, also the Sherman and the Hellcat with the M2 Browning and the Stuart with the.30 Browning.

About the discussion about who and what to study yesterday, how about we just watch the match replays of last round? We'd get our 5CP and learn which teams might give us new perks instead of studying each of them individually to find out.
>>

So far, I've tried looking myself, haven't found a decent picture of one yet.

If it turns out that the T-34 never did mount AA machine guns which IIRC they did, then the Rifle Team might be in for a bad time.

Also, thanks for pointing that out.

You run over and hug Lisa, surprising her. “Oh, I couldn’t have had it without you guys!” you say. You pull away, your hands still on Lisa’s shoulders. “Me and Kitten had a great time. I honestly can’t remember the last time me and Kitten had some time alone like that together.”

Kitten shrugs. “Well, I’m glad you had fun, Trudy.”

Nancy nods, grinning. “Indeed! Plus, if you want your mood to lighten up even more, we made a killer in donations!”

“How much?” you ask.

Lisa smiles. “How’s the sound 30,000 Dollars sound?”

> + 30,000 DOLLARS

“That’s great!” you yell. “Jesus, how did you-“

“Well, it was mostly the Girl Scouts, but the Aces helped out showing girls around the tank too then there was- Look, it’s no big deal,” says Lisa. “Spend it wisely though.”

You nod. “I will. Let’s get to school then. We’ve got a hell of a day ahead of us.”

Yeah, SOME panties makes little sense. If it was panty raiders, why not all? If it was a pervert, why take more than one? At one people might not notice. If it was someone who needed to borrow a pair but for some reason could neither wait or wake Trude up, why more than one? Quite mysterious.

This book said they didn't mount it on a T-34-85, so I'm assuming the T-34-76 wouldn't either.

Excel anon here.

I'd just want to point out that with regards to the plan to swap out the girl guides, the last training session had them being able to hit their targets reliably now. Same with the theatre team. That implies that they're approaching familiarisation.

Since they seem to be doing ok, it might be fine to leave them with the panzer and put the magician team with the sherman, so when it converts to the ez8, their crew size will be perfect.

The panther will probably do well as a ride for the animatiom team but we should try to purchase it and get it ready before the practice session on tuesday so that they'll have time to familiarise themselves with it before the match.

“Alright, Gertrude. I’ll send for the tank. Nice doing business with you!”

With that, you hang up. You however, decide to ask something out of the blue. “Any of you guys missing any panties?”

All of your crew look at you like you’re stupid. “Why?” asks Lisa.

You say, “I’m missing some of my nice panties. Specifically the sexy ones with all the lace and shit.”

“Aw,” says Kitten. “Those are my favorite.”

“I know!” you say.

Lisa tilts her head. “Why do you need “sexy” panties?”

You shrug. “On the off-chance that a guy maybe wants to have sex with me and I’ll be able to fulfill his ephebophiliac fantasies perhaps?”

“Don’t look at me like that, a girl can dream!” you say.

With that, you arrive at school. The tents and pavilions are being packed up, and all the carnival rides have already been disassembled.

I think it might be better for them to be in the Panzer IV much to condolences to the Girl Scouts who made us so much money.

The Animation Club feels intimated by the Brumbar size and armament.

Both the M4A4 and the M4A3 will eventually be replaced by bigger gun, which may be bad for them.

At least with the Panzer IV while similar in size to the Brunbar being based on the same Chassis, the 75mm gun of the Panzer IV will relatively stay the same and could get used to it

You decide to walk around, reading your newest book. The last time you read this, you complained about a couple of things. You’re not sure what this reminds you of, but it still makes reading this book kind of a bore.

Claire says, “They only took some of mine. Bastards.”

Betty crosses her arms, frowning. “I know panty raids are a common thing on LGA, but this is just weird. Maybe we’re dealing with…”

Fairless finishes it, “A pervert.” Everyone gasps. “Don’t do that,” says Fairless. “It’s not that dramatic.”

And here's where risk management comes into play.

On the one hand, you're absolutely right. Buying cheap upgrades will directly help us beat CHT.

On the other, the sooner we get the Panther going, the stronger the crew that gets it will be, thus a larger benefit for the future rather then the now.

The trouble is determining how much preparation we need to do to beat CHT. I believe we're perfectly capable of that right now. Their tanks are crap, we outmatch them easily. The match will come down to our crew's skill and our own decision making, thus we don't need to do much more to our lineup that would prevent us from buying the Panther today.

Lisa shakes her head. “No. It’s kind of childish that you think you need a certain type of underwear just to satisfy a guy in bed.”

With that, you all sit down and tend to your lunches.

We only have 15 tanks, the Sherman will take a week to be delivered, on the day of our match.

Also don't worry, we're not like Saunders since we're turning one into a Firefly and the other to the 90mm tank destroyer eventually

The point I wanted to make but did a poor job of, is that improving our lineup wouldn't do much to improve our chances against Chi-Ha-Tan because our advantage on that front has just about already been stretched as far as it could go. Improved engines for sure would be handy, though like I said.

So the matches so far have been paced 14 days apart. That may mean we wouldn't get the Souma back from Perrine until the finals, and I'm not sure that's worth it. Assuming so, we'd have to play two matches with one of our experienced crews in a tank they don't like; meaning Needlepoint wouldn't be reliable and almost certainly wouldn't Elite, for the trade-off of a SAu-40 to use (presumably) against Oorai. We may as well sell off their tank and buy a new one earlier then, in my opinion.

I know, we have to look at winning the whole thing and make decisions that will pay off in the long run. My problem is, we're currently trying to convert into a Firefly, a Jackson, and a Panther. These will be very expensive pursuits and already makes us weaker for the following rounds if we funnel money into all these projects. My concern is that we'll be behind the curve for our match against Cromwell/Pravda, so I propose not touching the Somua for the sake of making sure we can GET to the finals at all. Ideally we'd come into the money to convert it before the quest ends, but it isn't as if the S35 is dead weight as is.

All this assumes we can't get the Somua converted sooner or delay our match somehow. If, though, we'd have to be without it for two rounds, again I say either we should leave it or sell it.

“Now, let’s look at our leads.” You pull stick a fry in your lips, mimicking the cigarette of Humphrey Bogart’s noir films. “Appears to be nothing but sexy panties that are being stolen. The only people who haven’t had their stuff stolen is-“ you point at Lisa, “You, Nancy, Ramirez, and Kitten.”

Lisa nods. “Where are you going with this?”

“Did you steal my panties, Lisa?”

Lisa laughs. “Are you fucking serious? Why would I need hundreds of sexy panties? It’s not like I have sex anyway?” She sighs at that, stopping her laughter. “Kind of depressing actually, but still.”

You look over at Nancy. Nah, she’d never steal anything. Ramirez has a boyfriend but she doesn’t have the initiative to steal shit anyway. The only suspect left is… Kitten.

Nah. That can’t be right.

Nancy says, “Maybe it is Kitten-“

“No, you’re wrong,” you say. “You’re wrong!”

“Hey, Trudy. What’s up?”

“Oh, I was just calling to ask if maybeyoustoleourpanties.”

“Huh?”

“Did you or did you not steal panties?”

“… No. Why? I mean, I do have your spare set of sexy panties in my drawer, Trudy, but why would I need another pair of yours?”

“I’m just making sure. My faith in you was briefly shaken but it’s now stronger than ever!”

“Of course. Speaking of which, O’Hara and O’Brian are over at my place, they’re checking for evidence. Apparently this is a school-wide thing. A couple thousand pairs of panties have disappeared in the span of three or four nights.”

“Ouch.”

“Yeah. Hey, if you want, I can bring your panties to school for you.”

“No thanks, Kitten, I’m comfortable. Take care of yourself. Love you.”

“Love you too.”

You sit in the bleachers, browsing through your history textbooks. Your midterms don’t start today for you thankfully but it could be Monday next week when they start. That won’t be fun. Especially if Monday’s going to be a meeting day with the Student Councils.

Rachel Bradbury sits next you, shaking, on her third can of Red Bull. “And I was just minding my own business when suddenly the Reading Club comes out of nowhere and spoils my stuff and I’m like fuck you bitch and walk away and then I was all-“

You say, “Rachel. You need to relax. Midterms aren’t that difficult.”

“Relax? I am relaxed I am so relax-“

“You are not relaxed.”

Rachel yelps a bit. You remember making that mistake thinking lots of Red Bull will help you. It doesn’t.

Gym passes by relatively smoothly along with History, Theatre, and French. However, all word goes around about the Panty disappearances. And finally, you hear the name.

Domino Lady.

“Who’s the Domino Lady?” you ask a classmate in French.

The classmate says, “Last year, panties from all the classes of thousands of students disappeared. The thief always left a calling card, a little slip of paper saying, “Compliments of the Domino Lady.” She mostly only steals sexy underwear but she’s been known to steal an entire drawer’s worth.”

Another classmate says, “I heard the Domino Lady sells our panties on the internet, she’s probably made a fortune.”

Another classmate says, “I hear the Domino Lady is a lesbian and she actually masturbates to us when she sleeps.”

“That’s disgusting,” says the previous classmate.

Hm. It’s only now you hear of the Domino Lady.

But regardless, classes are over. Where shall you head off to?

You arrive there in good time, thankfully it doesn’t look like your tanks are filled with panties. In the backyard, the planes are ready to be towed to abandoned airfield where they will be launching off and demo’ing for the Skycraft team.

The Aviation Studies Club greets you. “Hey, Gertrude,” says Marina. “Come to watch our demonstration?”

You nod. “Wouldn’t have it any other way. You guys feel like you’re ready?”

Lidya smiles. “We were born ready.”

The Naval Studies Engineer teams pack the planes onto the back of trucks. Dory yells, “We’re ready to move!”

Lidya nods. “It’s how we were raised.”

Katya says, “The parameters of this demonstration be that we stay in the air for at least ten minutes, do a complete circle around Lafayette Girls Academy, and land safely. Should be alright.”

Jenny says, “As long as everyone stays behind me and listens to what I say, we’ll get through it.”

You nod. “Alright, girls. Good luck then.” Marina hands you a slip of Beeman’s Pepsin Gum, which you take eagerly. “Thanks.”

“For good luck,” says Marina. She turns to the rest of the Aviation Studies Club. “Girls, prepare for takeoff!”

The girls get to their planes. Marina takes the Hurricane, Katya takes the Hs-129, Jenny the P-36, and Lidya the F2A Buffalo. You sigh deeply. Time for takeoff.

The planes roar to life, starting up their engines and spinning up their propellers.

The Hurricane taxis onto the runway first, followed by the Buffalo, the Ki-61, then the Hs-129. Dust blows as your clothes and skirts billow in the thrown up wind. You place your hands behind your back, slowly crossing your fingers.

For the love of god, let them take off successfully.

Marina looks at you from the cockpit, goggles over her eyes. She waves quickly, then starts forward on the throttle. The Hurricane speeds up, followed by the rest of the planes. You bite your lip, leaning forward, as do the rest of the Seniors and Juniors.

Lift off.

Lift off damn it.

The Hurricane angles upward and rises from the ground. You throw your hands in the air. “Yes!” All the Seniors besides Fredendall join you in cheering as the planes start lifting off.

You nod. That’s fair you suppose. “You have any panties stolen?”

“Actually, no.” Fairless crosses her arms, frowning a little. “I get the feeling that people are too terrified of me to even risk it.”

You chuckle. “Right, I mean, imagine having to steal the panties off you while you sleep.”

“Funny story, I sleep in the nude, Gertrude.”

Ah. That’s fun to know. Fredendall yawns a little, still unimpressed. “Boring,” she says. “Think they might get to dogfighting soon?”

Bernadette says, “They didn’t agree to dogfighting as part of their demo.”

“Well I say they should-“ Fredendall stops when she sees Bernadette glaring at her. Fredendall immediately goes a bit pale and looks away. “- keep to the schedule.”

“A smart move, President,” says Bernadette.

With that, your Sherman rolls in across the airfield, your crew are out turned from the hatches. They stop next to you and kill the engine, then hop out. “Did we miss it?” says Nancy. “Darn!”

You shrug. “Don’t worry, Nancy. They’ll be around soon.”

“Well,” says Nancy. “I brought dinner!” she also pulls out a huge cake. “I also brought cake in for their victory!”

Oooooohhh.

> Talk to Someone (Hell, everyone)

Lisa and Kitten have pulled out their phones to record the Skycraft Team as they make their first turn around back to the runway. Should be another few minutes before they come back.

“Hey, Fredendall,” you say. “Ain’t you watching?”

Fredendall shrugs. “Hey, I’m not into planes. Who’s idea was it to do a Skycraft demonstration anyway?”

“Wasn’t it yours?” says Fairless.

Fredendall blinks. “Oh, hm. Oh well.”

Nancy says, “Would you guys like some cake when they come back?”

Betty is about to say something, but Fredendall says, “No thanks.” Betty frowns. “Me and Betty have a prior arrangement to attend to after this little show.”

The planes roar as they come closer and closer to the runway. Fairless says, “So, do they know how to land?”

… It suddenly occurred to you that you never asked.

Jenny’s Hawk rolls left towards the ocean, flying away, as do the rest of the planes. “Where are they going?” asks Lisa.

You say, “Probably need some room to land.”

> “They will.”

You nod. “They will.”

Oh god, you do not want to write condolence letters for why four little girls are dead because they burnt up in plane wrecks.

The planes start coming in low, then they start dropping their landing gears. The Hawk comes in first, getting low and dropping flaps, then scraping its gear across the old runway. It bounces a bit before slowing and killing its engine, coming to a halt at the end of the airfield.

That’s one.

The Hurricane comes next, coming to a nice landing on the runway. Jenny runs over to you, cheering and yelling. She immediately takes you in a hug. “We did it! They’re coming in!”

You nod, smiling. “Don’t count your blessings just yet, we got two more.”

The Ki-61 comes in low, its landing flaps down, then it touches the ground, screeching as it slows to a halt. Everyone but Fredendall cheers and claps as it comes in.

All that’s left now is the Hs-129.
>>
>>30856205
Jenny looks over the approaching Hs-129. You ask, “Something wrong?”

“Nah, I think Katya’s got this,” she says.

The 129 drops its landing flaps, then touches the ground with its gears, bouncing.

Then the huge 75mm gun on it fires, surprising you all. “What’s she doing!?” yells Nancy.

Jenny says, “She’s using the recoil to slow down!”

The Hs-129 fires again, blowing off earth and dust as it grinds to a halt right before you all. Katya climbs out of it, stiffly hopping down onto the ground.

All the Aviators walk up to each other and cheer. “Hooyah! Get some!”

You smirk, looking over at Fredendall. “So, what do you think?”

Fredendall frowns, crossing her arms. She’s about to say something, but Fairless glares at her. “Um… yeah, fine. They can have their Skycraft team.”

“Yes!” yells Marina. “We did it, girls! We’re Skycraft pilots now!” All of them rush over to you, swarming you and taking you in a massive group hug. “Thank you so much, Gertrude! Thank you!”

“It wasn’t just me you guys! You all did it!” You laugh. “Come on, let’s all have cake!”

You all sit around in the shade of your planes, eating up the cake that Nancy has prepared, chattering excitedly.

Marina and the rest of the Aviation kids sit down next to you. “Really, Gertrude. Thanks.”

Jenny nods. “If it weren’t for you, this really wouldn’t have been possible. Believe us. We’re really grateful for what you’ve done for us.”

“All I ask is that you guys do your best,” you say.

All of them nod, smiling. Marina pumps her fist. “We’ll show you what our best really is!”

They shouldn't bounce
Wheels aren't touching the ground so you're not slowing which means you can overshoot the runway.
On Aircraft Carriers it can mean missing the arresting wires
It also means you force the landing gear back into the fuselage or whatever place it's housed, making the next landing a crash landing.

>>30856386
From the few sources
> Type 97-kai Shinhoto Chi-ha. While better armed than the American M5A1 light tank, the Shinhoto Chi-ha could not penetrate the M4 medium tank from the front and had to attack from the side

There was a tank duel that occurred on Tarawa where a Sherman rammed and disabled a Type 95

Type 1 Ho-ni 75mm SPG was the only armored vehicle that could take an M4 at range

The Type 3 Chi-nu would have been the only thing that could match a Sherman, but none were deployed anywhere but the Home Islands.

Really, tank battles were pretty rare in the Pacific, and the ones that did occur were incredibly one sided. Best you could do is find the penetration values for the guns against RHA and then compare it with the armor values of the Japanese tanks

The M5A1 isn't really outgunned. I don't know what the other team's line up is because I never pay attention to the bits where you study them, there's like a bunch of greentext and then a 4 line comment at the bottom.

Really it depends on what most of their force is, I'm assuming this is the last team with shit tanks in their line up, so I'd take a higher RoF if the majority of CHT's line up can be penetrated by the 37mm.

> Break the Door in

You smash the door with a mighty kick, sending it flying in.

Suddenly a huge amount of cats swarm you, scratching at your LEGS MOTHERFUCKER THAT HURTS WHAT THE FUCK ZWILLMAN

Zwillman walks up to the door, angry, several cats and kittens hanging off her shoulders, her arms, and her head. “I should have warned you that I have a lot of cats.”

NO SHIT.

Nancy asks, “Where did you get all of these cats?”

Zwillman says, “Well, one day last year I was just walking along, minding my own business when this cat comes up to me and I’m like OH MY GOD THAT’S CUTE AS FUCK. So I take it home with me, then another cat came along, and another and another and another and well let’s just say that I take care of about twenty cats now.”

You step back, gently nudging the cats away from you. “… okay,” you say.

Zwillman holds up Kirby, gently using her paw to wave at you. “Kirby says Hi.”

“How long have you had all these cats?”

Zwillman shrugs. “About a year. Uh, Kirby I just got a few weeks ago actually.”

Lisa says, “Your room is surprisingly… clean. Why hasn’t anything shat itself?”

Zwillman says, “You know, I don’t really know. I keep a litterbox by my desk and in the bathroom but I also occasionally let them play around in the backyard. But you know, all these cats seem surprisingly docile, at least around me. They seem to hate everyone else.”

You rub your thighs a bit. “I noticed. Is this why you never want to study or go to school?”

Zwillman shrugs again. “Maybe.”

“You ever think of giving all these cats away?”

“FUCK NO!” Zwillman nuzzles her cheek against Kirby’s face. “And give up all these adorable little things? I’d never do such a thing!”

With that, Charlotte Luciano and Elouise Buchalter show up. “Hey Gertrude- WHAT THE FUCK WHERE DID ALL THESE CATS COME FROM!?” yells Elouise. “ABIGAIL! YOU GOT SOME ‘SPLAINING TO DO!”

Abigail sticks her tongue out at Elouise. “Fuck you, biiiiiiitch.”

You look over at Nancy. “Is the ASCPA onboard?”

Nancy nods. “Yeah, they have a building just down the road from the campus. Why?”

You look at Zwillman. “Zwillman, maybe you should consider volunteering there if you want to be around cute little animals. As for your cats well…” You scratch the back of your head. “How about this? We can establish a little morale… something at the school?”

Charlotte tilts her head curiously. “Morale something?”

“Like, one of those things where people get to play around with the cute little critters and the like as a bit of a morale boost.”

Zwillman frowns. “But-“

“Now, Zwillman,” you say. “I am genuinely concerned you know. I mean, twenty cats is a bit much to take care of, I’m quite surprised you haven’t turned into that one character from the Simpsons.”

Elouise rolls her eyes. “Implying she’s not.”

“But anyway,” you say. “Maybe that sounds fair?”

Siegel nods, her backpack already filled with textbooks. “Yeah, sure.”

Hm. That was easy. You look past her into her dorm. No gambling rings either. “Something the matter?” asks Benita.

You say, “No, no, just… wondering. Why are you a delinquent?”

Benita shrugs. “I stole a lot of cars and bikes. But when I was told I was getting expelled, boy, that was a hell of an eye-opener.”

You nod. “Ah. Alright.”

Charlotte scoffs. “Pfft. Nerds.” You look at her, to which she simply goes back to studying.

“Got any skills worth using, Siegel?” asks Lisa. “If you can hijack a car, you must be able to do something.”

“Well,” Benita taps her pencil on her chin. “I was looking into that Tank Shop Mr. Mishka runs, but I’m not sure if he’d take someone like me.”

“Hey, Mr. Mishka is nice,” you say.

Lisa nods. “Yeah, he’s a cool guy. I’d watch out for Huxley though, he’s a total pussy.”

You say, “Try and apply there sometime. If that don’t work, maybe settle it out with the Red Ball Couriers. Maybe Joanna can get you something.”

Benita nods. “I’ll keep that in mind.”

Elouise says, “Not to derail the topic at hand but, Charlotte.” Charlotte looks over at Elouise. “What exactly do you do after school?”

Charlotte tilts her head. “What do you mean?”

Maya nods. “Yeah, you totally disappear right after school ends, where the fuck do you go?”

You tell Lisa to call up Mr. Mishka to put in a favorable review of Benita Siegel. Meanwhile, Charlotte happily explains the concept of 40k to her fellow delinquents through the use of some models she had in her backpack.

She holds up one of them. “And this is a Tau Fire Warrior. No one cares about the Tau.” She puts it down and picks up a Space Marine. “It’s all about Space Marines. Specifically this one I painted in Blood Raven regalia because fuck Ultramarines.”

Elouise nods. “Uh huh.”

Maya nods. “Uh huh.”

“You guys have no idea what I’m talking about do you?” asks Charlotte.

Kitten slides in. “I do. I happen to prefer Orks myself.”

“I know!” says Charlotte, grinning. “Orks are so funny to use next to say Tyranids. I used to do that distraction Carnifex thing before they nerfed it to hell in the latest rulebook update.”

Kitten nods. “Yeah, I used to do some tabletop 40k before I went to LGA. Never found anyone to play with though. Plus I don’t have my models anymore, and Games Workshop charges out the ass.”

“Oh!” Charlotte gasps. “You and I ought to get together sometime, what was your name again?”

Kitten smiles. “Carol, my friends call me Kitten.”

Lisa hangs up. “Right, made the call. Mr. Mishka will take a good look at you, Benita, provided you put in a resume.”

I expect their Elite Shinhoto Chi-ha, and a combination of regular Shinhoto Chi-Ha and CHi-he

This is true, they might have a strong lineup this time.
>>
>>30860364
True, but I was also adding your suggestions to this as well.

Not to mention you forgot the Chi-Nu.

All things considering they have a decent lineup of tanks

After a few minutes of going over math notes, you ask Luciano. “So, feel better about your “big” secret?” you ask.

Luciano nods. “A bit. I mean, you guys seriously not know what 40k is?”

All the Delinquents shake their heads. Elouise says, “Nah. Is it like, Star Wars or something?”

“HELL NO,” says Charlotte.

You say, “You think you’d be good for making some model tanks for us, Charlotte?”

Charlotte smiles, nodding. “Sure, that seems okay.”

You nod. “Sweet.” You quickly pull out your phone and make a call. “Juliette, you there?”

“Hey, Gertrude! What’s up?”

“Not much, Juliette. Just wondering what we’re going to be doing for our camping trip tomorrow.”

“Well, we’ll be going right after lunch at noon, then we’ll spend most of the day traveling through Marshal Ney forest and climb up Montagne Mountain. It’s a small trek, challenging, but it’s worth it to bathe in the hot springs there, they’re the PERFECT temperature, you know?”

“Cool.”

“Speaking of which, did you want to make this a Tankery thing, or just us, the Freshmen, and your crew? Or, you know?”

They seem to be the most appropriate team for this situation. If they're not too busy, of course.

Alternately, Sewing Club so we can discuss the fashion show, but I imagine they don't want to get mired in muck.
>>
>>30860441
That's a good idea. Send a mass text to the commanders of each team to let them know and see if they are interested.

Supporting.

Though I hope Rifle Team will come just because they can hunt while sulking that they can put their heavy machine gun on their T-34
>>
>>30860385
>All things considering they have a decent lineup of tanks
Maybe. The Chi-Nu's gun is very similar to the 75mm M3 gun, the armor quality I'm betting is poor considering the outcomes of previous engagements other Japanese tanks have had.

They haven't come this far because their tanks are good, they've outplayed their opponents. Or because their opponents were shit.
>>
>>30860528
Well I think it's a combination of both also the fact that Japanese tank commander ordered heavy firing discipline, to let them come close

not to mention their Tank Destroyers also sport 75mm guns though I'm not sure how effective they are.

Their Super Heavy we might have to employ the same tactic as we did with Walter Christie , especially since the O-I is a 11 crew man tank and will take a lot of coordination to operate
>>
> Take the entire team

You say, “I’ll send out a mass text to all our commanders asking them to come. They don’t have to, but hell, expect… everyone. Including the Magicians.”

“We have Magicians?”

“We recruited them yesterday.”

“Ah, alright. We’ll assemble at the Tankery HQ then at lunch. See you then, Gertrude!”

With that, you get back on to studying for the rest of the night. Once it starts getting later however, the Delinquents turn in. They all say goodnight as they pack their things and leave, as does your crew.

Kitten says, “I think I made a new friend!”

You nod, tugging on her cheek a little. “Ah, I’m proud, Kitten. Good night.”

Kitten nods as she hits the light for you on her way out. “Good night, Trudy.”

The Type 90 gun that the TDs use has a really really similar ballistics profile to the 75mm M3 gun on the Sherman

German. Fuck's sake...
>>
>>30860622

Judging from the deployment trends of Kursk, Black Forest, and William Adams, I'd say that there's a good chance that the main "meat" of their forces (no more than one-third) would still comprise of their regular Chi-Ha.

Not that we should underestimate them, of course. If anything, they might even utilize the stock Chi-Has as easy lures for the rest of their team.

I heard they were effective for doing mobility kills
