Woozy from blood loss and disoriented by the strange sensations coming from your stump of a right arm, you do your best to stand your ground as General Tin has his tank crew center the cannon on you, a blood thirsty grin spreading across his face as he lights another cigar. The General looks down on you from atop the tank, puffing smoke and silently waiting for you to make your move.

Your Bustergun feels heavy in your left hand and you’re already straining your muscles to raise it when you hear sirens in the distance. Relief washes over you as General’s blood thirsty grin drops into an irritated frown as three police cruisers and an ambulance roll onto the scene.

As paramedics rush over to Ira, who carried Father Rude down from the tower, while police officers step out of the cars and begin to gather around you and the General.

“General? What’s the meaning of this?” Chief Silver demands as he walks up and places himself between you and the tank barrel.

You can see the General’s teeth digging into his cigar as he bites back deep seated fury.

“Nothing. I was just congratulating this young man on handling that sniper before he could injure any civilians.”

“It’s nice to see you paying compliments for once General, however I think you should return back to base. It’s obvious your tank crew needs to run some safety drills seeing how this cannon is pointed.” The Chief flicks the tank cannon with his finger and the General bits his cigar in half.

“You’re right Chief, I’ll do that…”

The General shoots you one last glare before retreating back into the tank. Once it turned around and left the scene Chief Silver turned to you, putting a hand on your shoulder to keep you from falling over.

“Let’s get you to the hospital, after you get treated let’s have a chat about what happened here…”
>>
>>30873397
You, Father Rude, and your severed arm are scooped up and taken to the hospital. After some tests and treatment, you’re plopped down in bed and hooked up to an IV. A few minutes later Chief Silver and a few other police arrive to question you.
What do you want to tell them?

Old Man Snipes isn't really relevant to this story. No way Joe was after us because we were hired to investigate him. If he knew we talked to his brother he knew where his brother was. I think Joe was after us from the start. So let's just say that we were attacked by a sniper, and we don't know why, though it could be because of our pissing off the pirates. I can't remember if we told the police in our call that it was Joe Snipes who was shooting at us, but if we did and we have to justify that knowledge say that we caught a glimpse of him when he first shot at us and we recognized him from stories we've heard. Cruiser seemed to know who Joe Snipes was, so he must have some degree of infamy.

Doesn't really matter what we were hired for, Joe was after us. Old Man Snipes just gave us a heads up, but that didn't mean anything in the end. So basically tell them everything about the attack and what happened, the Old Man is irrelevant in this case.

Though we should visit that guy later on. Maybe he'll be the guy who can teach Bass how to fight and survive properly, being a former bounty hunter and all.

Seeing how Sniper Joe was already set up in the bell tower when you arrived at the garage, it's likely he had been tailing you the entire day and figured out your routine. Considering you only talked with Old Man Snipes a couple minutes prior to returning to the garage, you doubt being hired to investigate into why he was on the island had anything to do with him trying to kill you.

You tell the police what happened, giving them only the necessary details on how you were attacked and what you did to fight back.

"Do you know who attacked you?" Chief Silver asked.

"Cruiser seemed to think it was someone called Sniper Joe." You reply.

"Yes. Joe Snipes AKA Sniper Joe, is a member of the Snipes family, a large and renown family tied heavily with the bounty hunter and mercenary business. Do you know why he attacked you?"

"Well considering I wrecked a pirate air ship and escaped custody of the Red Skulls? I'm assuming it's probably something to do with that." You state and Chief Silver gives a sullen nod.

"You have a bounty on your head Bass. Not an official one, but one set up by the Red Skull Leader, Jupiter."

"Do you know how big the bounty is?" You ask, shifting in the hospital bed.

"We don't know exactly, but it's big enough that you have professional veteran bounty hunters after you. It's likely word hasn't spread about the bounty just yet or people just don't know who you are, but since you killed the infamous Sniper Joe I doubt you'll stay unknown for long." Chief Silver pats you on the shoulder.

"You're a good kid, but if you hang around here too long you'll wind up dead. Do you have plans to leave Schlaf Island?"

"Yeah, I've been saving up money to repair a ship. I plan on clearing out the remaining towers to get the money and the refractor we need to leave." You explain.

"Well I wish you the best of luck. If you have any questions or if General Tin threatens you again, just call the police station and ask to speak with me. I'm in my office most working hours."

Chief Silver and the police leave you to rest and for a while you're left alone with your thoughts.

After about an hour a familiar old man comes to see you.

"How are doing?" He asks, sitting next to your bed.

"Alright considering the missing arm." You say, feeling slightly drowsy from the pain killers you've been fed.

"I'm terribly sorry about all of this. I had no idea he was after you or that you had a bounty on your head." Old Man Snipes say apologetically.

"You're not mad that I killed-"

"Of course not. He was a bastard, why do you think I was so terrified of him? Anyway, I think it's only fair I pay you back for all this trouble. I'm adding 1000 zenny to the 2000 I owe you and I'll pay for your stay here in the hospital."

"Thanks, I'm pretty broke at the moment." You say, breathing a sigh of relief at the realization you wouldn't have to cough up the money for medical bills.

"I'm Tom by the way. Tom Snips. You know my actual last name, but I'd prefer you keep that to yourself. Anyway, I'll give your money to one of your friends so you don't have to worry about it getting nicked by one of the nurses." Tom gets up to leave, but turns around in the doorway.

"Also, don't forget that I manage the armories for the police and the militia here. If you find yourself in need to some more ammo for that machine gun or something with a little more kick, talk to me and I'll try to hook you up."

The old man leaves just as Ira enters the room.

"How are you doing Bass?" She asks, going over to your bed and checking your medical chart.

"Fine I guess. My arm is still bugging me..." You say.

"How is it bugging you exactly?" Ira asks, coming closer.

"It's weird. It's like I can still feel it even though it's gone. Right now it feels...cold, like I stuck my arm in a box of ice." You say, struggling to explain it clearly.

Ira bites her lower lip and looks away from you.

"What's the matter?" You ask, leaning up in bed a little.

"Bass...your arm is..."

"Yeah, yeah I know it's gone. There are replacement limbs though right? Maybe I could get a cool-"

"Bass your arm is still alive and moving" Ira says, interrupting your day dream of a rocket punching arm.

You look at her with an amused smile, but her stern look makes you realize she's very serious.

Looking down at your stomp you concentrate and with a little effort you realize you can still move your severed arm...

The sudden realization you can control your severed arm makes the strange sensations all the more alien and overwhelming. Your heart begins to race and your mind begins to race with the nightmarish implications.

"What the hell am I?!?" You demand, looking to Ira who steps back and shakes her head.

"I-I don't know Bass. You seem human enough, none of the doctors noticed anything strange on your blood work or the X-Rays. However when I was treating your wound I noticed that your bone looked...different."

"Different? What do you mean different!?" You're practically yelling at this point. You don't understand...

"I don't know how to describe it, it almost looked inorganic! And considering you can still move your arm despite the nerves being severed and the arm doesn't have any blood going to it-I just don't know."

Ira holds the sides of her head and sits down in a nearby chair, looking like she's on the verge of crying.

You sit in silence for a couple of minutes, running through nightmarish ideas and scenarios in your head until you realize your mistake.

"Ira...I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to yell it's just...this is fucked up" You shake your head and lean yourself up in bed all the way.

"It's alright. This is pretty scary isn't it?" Ira rubs her eyes and looks up at you, sniffing a little.

"Do the doctors know about...my arm?"

"No, at least not that I can tell. Your arm was moving when the paramedics boxed it, but I think they assumed it was just doing that because it was recently severed. However someone's bound to notice eventually and it's possible that your arm could die even though it's still 'alive' at the moment."

"Could I have my arm reattached?" You ask.

"Maybe. I could take a shot at it, but I'd have to do it outside the hospital. It's possible I could talk the doctors here into trying it, but they might notice something is different about you. What do you want to do about this Bass?"

What do you want to do about your arm Bass?
>>
>>30875035
Talk to the doctors. This is creepy, but once the initial shock wears off it's not that weird. So we've got some sort of radio linked cyber-bones that we have no idea how they got in us. No big deal, there's weirder things out there. I'm less concerned with secrecy than I am understanding and fixing the problem. And while Bass has perfect confidence in Ira's skills, she doesn't have the equipment she'd need to do a proper job of it. Not to mention that she shouldn't risk having to explain to the police why she stole our severed arm.
>>
>>30875035
Get the doctors here. We need someone to help us with this.

"We should tell the doctors about this..." You stated after giving things some thought.

"Are you sure Bass?" Ira asks.

"Yeah, I mean it's not like this is some kind of dark secret of mine. I didn't even know I could do crap like this till now. I'd like to understand what the hell is wrong with me and how it can be fixed. Plus as cool as a prosthetic rocket arm would be, I'd rather not replace something that could just be reattached."

Ira nods and leaves to get the doctor. After a very long drawn out conversation with the Doctor trying to convince him of what you felt, which ended in Ira getting the arm and having you demonstrate you could move it, the doctors at the hospital began to look into what was wrong with you...
>>
>>30875557
>3
You were kept at the hospital for about two weeks, after the first three days the doctors reattached your arm as best they could and waited to see if it would heal.

As the doctors continued to run tests on you and monitored the status for your arm, Cruiser got to work using the 3000 Zenny you got to armor the car for your next trip to the Silver Tower.

Ira visited you just about every day and checked in with the doctors to try and make heads or tails of what was going on with you. She also turned in the kittens to Mrs. Mary after she was released from police custody, giving you the 500 Zenny you were owed.

After 2 weeks worth of rest and hospital care you felt a lot better and while your arm still felt odd it seemed to have healed just fine. As the doctor cleared you for release you were finally able to ask him about the results of the tests.

"So what did you figure out about me?" You ask, eagerly awaiting the answer.

"Not much." The doctor admits. "We're a hospital, not a research lab. The tests we ran didn't show us a lot. Your anatomy appears to be human, but in all actuality you're far more physically resilient then a normal human being. Examining the expose bone in your injury we managed to deduce that while your body may appear human, it's possible that's just a kind of...camouflage. We've done all we can and frankly I'm terrified to think of what you could be or what could have made you this way."

"So...what should I do now?" You ask, somewhat lost.

"Well whatever did this to you isn't infectious and you don't pose any kind of biological or health hazard. You can keep living like you used too if you want, but if you want to learn more then I suggest you take a trip too Rednif Island when you get the chance." The doctor suggests.

"Rednif Island?"

"It's a small island to the north of hear, very easy to miss. It's home to various retired doctors and scientists. If there's anyone in the nearest 1000 miles or so that might be able to figure out what you are, it's probably someone there." The doctor wishes you best of luck and you're allowed to leave the hospital.

Dressed in your recently washed clothes you step out into the sunshine and walk down the steps of the hospital to find Cruiser and Ira waiting for you in the AE86.

You climb into the front seat and explain to them what happened.

"Jeez, two whole weeks and they couldn't find out ANYTHING?" Cruiser looks at you in disbelief but Ira nods her head.

"They let me see some of the tests and I can confirm they showed up normal for the most part. What little they found out was mostly speculative." Ira states, looking at you with concern.

"One of the doctors said I should check Rednif island. Apparently it's the home to a bunch of retired scientists and doctors ever heard of it?"

Cruiser and Ira shake their head.

"Never heard of it, but I'm sure we could go there once we have the ship up and running." Ira says.

"Yeah, I just got the car armored up and some guy named Tom dropped off some ammo for the machinegun so we're ready to back to the Silver Tower now if you want." Cruiser states.

You could go to the Silver Tower, but there's still Hunter to deal with. Mrs. Mary is no longer seen as a prime suspect, but from what Ira told you the Police still don't have a good grasp on who could have killed the man Mrs. Mary owed money too.

Hunter's vague advertisement still seems disgustingly suspicious in your mind and even if it's not related it's probably nothing good.

Could be. Bass's mom is definitely something connected to the Ancients. Might not be this island's administrator specifically, but she's clearly something important.

My biggest worry with going with B is that he and the asshole general will use that as a cheap-ass excuse to rally against us in the long run. On the other hand, we might as well do that before heading out to the tower for another dig, unless we can buy better parts for our buster somewhere.
>>

According to Cruiser the police collected Joe's body and gear. His stuff is probably locked up in the police station as evidence. It's unlikely they'd give it up for you to regardless of how you asked them, but Tom Snips works for the police and the militia.

Even if you can't get any of Joe's gear, it's possible Joe might be able to give or sell you something.

I vote we head for Tom's place and ask him if he's got anything to give our buster a bigger punch, at the very least. We MIGHT be able to get some more info on Hunter from him, but the main reason to visit is for more firepower and defense.
>>
>>30876478
Fair enough. He was a bounty hunter, maybe he knows something about that island the doctors mentioned.

We should deal with Hunter though. The longer that guy's out there, the worse things will become. He might be the one behind the organ snatchers, or he might send more assassins our way when they arrive on the island.
Either way, the guy's bad news.
>>
>>30876805
I think you're blowing things out of proportion. As far as we know Hunter's just kind of a scumbag. He hasn't done anything outright evil. For now he's just a nuisance. And while I appreciate the value of eliminating nuisances before they become more serious threats, I don't think we've quite yet reached the point where any suspicion we have of him is more than just our personal bias. So let's actually get the information on what he wants before we do form our opinions on him.

Regardless of weather you go after Hunter or go to the Silver Tower, it'd probably help to have some better equipment or a little bit more firepower. It's been two weeks since you talked with Tom and since Joe isn't an issue he's probably back to work. Checking the clock in the car you try to recall the working hours he briefly mentioned and remember he works at the police station during this time of day.

You have Cruiser drop you off at the police station and you go inside, asking the police officer manning the front desk to talk to Tom.

"You're Bass right? Tom mentioned to let you through if you needed to see him." The police officer leads you through the police station and unlocks a door leading to a basement of sorts. You're lead down the stairs and to a brightly lit room with large padlocked cabinets, gun racks, and a few beat up work benches with guns, tools, and parts scattered across them.

When police officer leaves you to your business and goes back upstairs, Tom speaks.

"It's nice to see you're doing better Bass, Ira told me you made a full recovery. They even managed to reattach your arm!"

"Yeah, the wonders of medical science never cease to amaze. Listen, I was wondering..."

" I was wondering if you could training me. I've been getting by by the skin of my teeth and frankly some advice or skills would be wonderful at this point." You state, scratching the back of your head uncomfortably.

"I'm not a bounty hunter anymore Bass, I'd rather leave that part of my life to rot in my memories. Besides it wouldn't feel right teaching a kid like you how to kill, even though you've already proven you're capable. However you are a Digger and you have a Bounty on your head..." Tom puts down his tools and begins to think.

"I'm busy at the moment, but when I have the time I might be able to show you a few things that have other uses outside killing people. However I'm swamped at the moment with work, so it won't be any time soon."

"No, it's no problem I'll stop by when you have some free time." You say giving a gracious nod.

"I was also hoping you could sell or maybe even give me some weapons or equipment. I'm about to do some pretty heavy stuff and I'd like to be better armed then I am at the moment."

"Well I can't legally sell you any weapons from the police armory, but I could probably sell you munitions, parts, and maybe even some police gear like helmets, shields, such without too much fuss especially since you're on good terms with Chief Silver." Tom explains.

"What about the Militia armory?" you ask.

"I might be able to sneak you some plastic explosives, but General Tin is pretty anal about keeping stock of what they do and do not have."

"Well do you think you might be able to sneak my some of Joe's equipment? I mean he's not going to use it anymore."

Tom frowns. "Joe has used that Bustergun of his to kill a lot of people. It'll probably serve as evidence in later cases involving the Snipes. However I might be able to make that folding shield or helmet of his disappear for you. It won't cost you a thing, It'll be me repaying you for what you did."

Maybe call him over right now, we have our radio with us, hopefully.

We have our own custom armor we made, though we lost the helmet for it in the fight with Joe, so the helmet is the only thing we really need.
Junk parts and the old gun parts could be used for customizing our buster rifle, and the airsoft gun might be useful for that thing Ira was building.

Looking over the stuff available the only thing of interest that comes to your immediate mind is the helmet, since you lost yours to Joe. You pull out your radio and give Ira a call, asking her to hand the radio to Cruiser.

You ask him what they might need and describe what Tom has available.

"Well the parts seem intriguing, even if they're old I still might be able to do something with them. The Airsoft gun is a must, I probably can't make it into a proper weapon, but I can use parts from it in something else. I still have that broken machine gun and that ruptured air tank you brought back, maybe I can make something from all of that..."

You wish to buy:
>Kevlar Helmet -1000 Zenny

Cruiser suggests buying:
>Junk Parts – 50 Zenny
>Old Gun Parts -150 Zenny
>Fancy Airsoft Gun -100 Zenny

That comes to a total of 1300 Zenny, leaving you with 420 Zenny.

Do you agree with Cruiser's suggestions? Do you wish to make this purchase?
>>
>>30878895
Yeah, sure.
>>
>>30878895
dunno about the helmet, but if the others want it, sure.

We're also gonna need some kind of sights or scopes for those birds.
>>
The helmet will definitely do us good. Might pick up the armor later, depending on how our current armor is holding up. Might use the extra kevlar for protection, assuming it can fit and won't weigh us down too much.
>>
>>30878895
Works for me. Now let's go hit that tower so we can pay Cruiser and Ira back for the loan. We owe them each 350 Zenny, now.

You buy the parts, the air soft gun, and the Kavlar helmet. It doesn't have a headlamp like your old helmet, but you have a pair of flashlights you can tape to the sides.

"Thanks Tom, I'll check in with you tomorrow" You say, hiding your purchases in your bag as you leave the police station and return to the car.

You had the parts and the air soft gun to Cruiser while you try on the helmet, making a note of how much money you owe Ira and Cruiser. The helmet is light and fits your head pretty well, it should protect you better then that dinky climbing helmet you were using before.

Tom won't have that folding shield till tomorrow, but the AE86 is already prepped to go to the Silver tower today.

There's still the issue of Hunter to investigate as well.

What do you wish to do Bass?

“Guys I think we should go find Hunter and pay him a visit. That add he posted up on the bulletin board is bugging me, I have this feeling he’s up to something.” You say, deciding to leave the Silver Tower till you have that folding shield.

“Alright, we should head to the docks then, if Hunter is
anywhere its ether there or somewhere on the water near the island.” Cruiser says, pulling onto the road and heading towards the docks.

You get there quickly, with Cruiser finding a parking spot far away from the fish stands. He stays with the car as you and Ira begin to look around for any signs of Hunter…

Splitting up, Ira goes to check the fish market while you go down to the pier to check if Hunter's boat is there. Much to your surprise Hunter's boat and his crew are still tied off to the pier. They seem busy though and they look like they're getting ready to leave. You don't see hunter, but he could easily be below the deck of the small tugboat like craft.

What do you wish to do Bass?

Keeping out of sight you call up Ira on the radio and have her tell Cruiser to bring the car around. Soon the AE86 has pulled up to the docks, well within gun range of Hunter's boat.

"Ira, stay with the car and man the machine gun. We'll need you if anything crazy happens." You say, motioning Cruiser to follow you.

"Right! Please be careful!"

With Ira manning the machine gun you and Cruiser walk down the pier and up to Hunter's boat, catching the attention of Hunter's men. There seem to be more of them then last time, 13 apposed to 7.

"What are you doing here?" One of them growls.

"I'm here to talk to your boss, where is he?"

"He's busy, come back later." One of Hunter's men suggests dismissively.

"How about we stick around until he gets back?" Cruiser suggests in return, his hands on the large wrench strapped to his tool belt.

"Buzz off will you! We're busy!" The whole crew of Hunter's ship is focused on you know, obviously nervous about something.

"Busy with what? Does it have something to do with that add Hunter posted on the bulletin board about 2 weeks ago?" You ask.

Just as one of the workers is about to say something Hunter's voice booms out behind you as if shouted from megaphones.

"Ugh, you're a nosey little asshole aren't you? No sense in waiting when I can just claim the bounty money now!"

You turn around just in time to see a large mechanical arm lash out of the water at the part of the dock you and Cruiser are on.

>Cruiser Roll: 10
>Bass Roll: 9

The mechanical arm smashes into the dock, crushing boards and sending splinters flying everywhere while the sheer force of the blow shakes the entire dock and throws you off balance.

Cruiser manages to keep himself steady as you stumble to the side and fall off the dock, crashing into the water below. Your backpack begins to drag you down into the water, but you manage to kick your back back to the surface, fumbling to put your Bustergun over your arm.

You can hear grunts and punches from up on top of the dock, suggesting Cruiser is fighting with the others. As you look for a way to climb back up you hear the water shift around and turn your head to see a large blue robot rise partially out of the water.

Even with it's lower half submerged you'd say the machine is about 10 feet tall, with a round body and shoulders, two crude by thick manipulator arms, and a human like head with two large green optics and what looks like some kind of jaw.

Amidst all the blue paint, you see a red skull adorning it's torso.

"I don't care if this prototype isn't ready for combat, I'll still be able to crush you with it!" Hunter laughs over the speakers, as he reaches the manipulators out to grab you.

Quick! What will you do Bass?
>>
>>30881590
Ok, it shoot to kill. HUNTER just got gear from the Red Pirates.

Elimiate him.

Or not to beat any answers from him.

But he isn't getting away from this.
>>
>>30881590
We had our buster gun waterproofed, right?

Drop the bag, it's only slowing us down. Get in there and help Cruiser fend off those mooks, while Ira lets loose on that robot thing with the machine guns. Those guys will probably run away from the gunfire, and we can use charged shots on that thing's limbs to slow it down.

I've no idea why I expected a Z'Gok.
>>
>>30881674
It's waterproof but we can't shot it underwater yet.

Get the shield ready to pop out when his goons start attacking us.
>>
>water fight
>unarmored with no rebreather
Shit. I've got two possible options:
1. We force our weight to help us submerge and get out of the way of the manipulators with a perfectly-timed maneuver and hope to god we can out-swim an aquatic machine to the hopefully-close shore.
2. We find a way to get onto the machine or manipulators without actually being grabbed and fumble our way from there.

Either way, we need to get onto dry land. The car would help a lot in this, but for the moment we just need to safely fire our buster at that thing while being able to move.

Ira's machine guns could buy us some time and distract Hunter, while we go help Cruiser with those 13 guys. Then have him call the cops while we deal with the giant robot.

"You're pretty pathetic Hunter, even when you get a robot you still look like a complete fool! Seriously that thing looks like something a one off villain on the Steel Prince would pilot!"

"We'll see who's pathetic when you're in pieces!" Hunter raises his arms to strike you, but shots ring out as Ira begins to pepper Hunter's machine with gunfire. Hunter crosses his mech's arms, shielding it's head as you make a made swim towards the shore.

Despite being in heavy wet clothes and only having one free hand to paddle with, you manage to swim to shore before Hunter even has time to check to see where you are. You've never been much of a swimmer, but imagining all the fish swimming around in the water with you probably spurred you into a brief moment of Olympic level swimming.

Ira continues to spray Hunter with the machine guns even after you reach shore, unloading a scream of gunfire on him and giving his machine dozens of dents and nicks across it's thick blue metal hull.

You raise your bustergun and take a shot at him. but Hunter drops below the water before your attack can hit, disappearing into the murky sea water.

Running back over to the dock you spot Cruiser dukeing it out with Hunter's lackeys. He seems to be doing pretty well, punching and throwing them around like rag dolls, fighting with a kind of finesse and grace that a simple brawler would lack.

Suddenly the sound of something moving through the water followed by snapping wood fills your ears. The dock begins to shake as Hunter begins destroying the dock's support beams

You shout out to Cruiser, but he can't here you over the brawl and Ira's machine gun fire, as she tries to shoot Hunter and keep him away from the dock.

If Cruiser falls into the water, he'll be easy pray for Hunter! What do you wish to do Bass?

"Cruiser! We need to get off this thing!" You shout, motioning for Cruiser to follow as Hunter continues to break the support beams of the dock.

Now don't get me wrong Flit needs to be brought to an accord due to the shit he's pulled but Going all 40K Exterminatus on his family is just overfucking kill
>>
>>30885392
You should read the end of the last intermission thread, too. That has some important information on why Flit's doing this. And some commentary that blasts all our suspicions of Jake's relationship to Arthur out of the water. Turns out we were expecting the relation to be much more DISTANT than is the case.
>>
>>30885392
Honestly, considering how Jake reacted calmly, I sorta expect that he and Flit planned this to take out Leviathan from within.
Though they didn't expect that Vagan attack which just fucked things up even more.
>>
>>30885430
Yeah, but ending the Asuno bloodline wouldn't be hard, at this point. It wouldn't be that many deaths. Just Flit and Kio, sorry, I mean "KIO". Asemu doesn't count.

>>30885492
Could be. But it's strongly implied that this is Arthur's work, and Flit's been emotionally manipulated into this. Jake could be calm just because he knows that he's being filmed and trying to defend himself will only seem to confirm his guilt to the public.
>>
>>30885548
If he even gets a chance to see Kio or the possible Asuno that's based on Akito or Yurika. Leviathan will probably keep him as a commander and someone in charge of mobile suit development. Emily and Dr Hearts, on the other hand, will probably be the ones who'll get to deal with Kio and the other possible kids that Leviathan made.

There's going to be a Crocker / Asuno kid somewhere in there, isn't it.
>>
>>30885804
Well, it's looking like Asemu and Scarlet are going to wind up together now that he's gone all Captain Ash. So there will be at least one, yeah. It's unclear if Leviathan has Yurika or Akito's germ cells, though, and they almosr certainly don't have Scarlet's. So whether they'll have an Asuno/Crocker hybrid is less certain.
>>
>>30885894
They could end up having Scarlet's germ cells, though. We've no idea who operated on Scarlet, or who's the person that Rysis mentioned that was interested in turning Scarlet into a cyborg. Not to mention that she was stealing medical data and who knows what else from her. Could easily be that the people who are helping Rysis save Scarlet work for Arthur.
>>
>>30886026
Given that she's keeping Scarlet living a secret so as to protect her from Arthur, that seems unlikely. The implication was that Arthur couldn't be allowed to know the facility Rysis took Scarlet to exists, so she couldn't tell it to Jake in case Arthur noticed a change in his behavior. It's probably not Leviathan. It's some other group that Rysis has been working with to take down Arthur.
>>
>>30886099
I doubt that she managed to find a group with such a strong financial backing and advanced medical technology without Arthur noticing it. Especially if the guy's in control of every computer, network and is aware of everything that's going on in the Earth sphere..
>>
>>30886414
I suppose. But it doesn't make sense for Arthur to know about it. Maybe she found and unfroze some of her old team from the Colony Nations Wars?
>>
>>30886444
Most of her old team died in that battle against Arthur's team while they were transporting SID around, as far as we know. That's where Travis (who may or may not work for Arthur) got stuck in cryostasis because he got injured badly, and Arthur stayed behind to fight those guys off. And the guys that were behind her during the Colony Nations Wars either died or lost most of their power.

Could be that she's working with the loyalist members of Leviathan, the guys who were opposing their recent coup. Part of me wonders if it was Emily who saved Scarlet's life.
>>
>>30889495
And I don't think Rysis really had a team - the Rebel forces made her into a cyborg against her own will and just released her to hunt down Arthur. The rest of her squadron was probably there to slow down Arthur's team while those two duke it out, and in case she goes berserk shoot her.

We should suck it up and ask for help getting the ship operational again so we can get away from their island. It would be better for everyone. We can come back and hit the silver and gold towers later. Right now we need to get the fuck away from this place before someone bombs a whole district just to kill us.
>>
>>30892865
Yeah, we need to report what's going on before either more bounty hunters or worse drops by.
After we deal with Hunter and have his goons locked up, we should talk with the Mayor and the Police Chief. This guy needs to be interrogated. Maybe they'll let us have Hunter's boat.
