You flip past all of the already prepared high school pit falls and cliches, searching for what you want.

And you find it. College, the real place you go to find women. That's the word you're looking for, women. Not girls, but real fully developed women who, at least as much as possible, already know what they want in a guy. Or so they say.

To add in a few plot hooks you make yourself one of only a few guys there and throw in some supernatural/magic aspects. Good starting places at least, the specifics you'll figure out later.

You were never very creative, guess that comes with not having much time to be "alive", so you choose a mildly pleasing but rather generic form to wear.

As for your magic powers, well weak works. With that some background pops into your head unbidden, the narrative starting to take effect.

Apparently magic in men was only recently unlocked, just three years ago actually. This made 16 one hell of a time for you, not only did you have to figure out girls, you had to figure out this newfangled power that nobody seemed to know how to teach you.

Joker Quest does this, amusingly enough. If possible, I'd like to play a cool guy harem protagonist: Those are rare, but someone like Raishin from Unbreakable Machine Doll or the lead from Ichiban Ushiro Daimaou are fairly good protagonists in otherwise average shows.

As your eyes trail over the girls cute face, down the smooth lines of her neck and even further a thought pops into your mind. You should ask her to shower with you, what red blooded male doesn't want a nice girl like her in his shower.

Then the rest of your brain grabs hold of your libido and shakes it a little. Goddamnit man you just met her! And it's a harem anime not a hentai!

So, instead you say something else, though you keep your cool, it's not like you're some guy who's never seen a naked chick before.

With a smooth turn you go to open your door, getting out of there before she reacts and yells at you like any normal person would. As you do your eyes briefly light on the door behind the girl. That's right, your dorms actually share a slightly nicer bath between each set of rooms, you should have known that.

With a click you shut the door behind you and move to the small kitchen, getting out a small breakfast of some microwaveable egg/biscuit things as you hear the shower start to run.

As your food beeps, you grab it and start chewing. As first meetings go it was certainly interesting, but you rather doubt it was good on your end.

Shaking your head you finish up your small breakfast. What kind of weirdo talks to a person through a door AND a shower. Especially someone they don't know. You decide to talk to her later and try to make up, it's not like she'll be hard to find seeing as how she lives right next door.

As you wait for her to finish showering you get ready, throwing together you bag, books, paper, pens, pencil and a small laptop computer going in there automatically.

Huh, guess since you didn't specify magic and technology get along just fine.

Finally after nearly twenty minutes you hear the shower cut off and the other door open and close. Taking your opportunity you move into the bath, you won't have time to soak but a decent shower isn't out of range to make it to class.

After showering you throw on your clothes, grab your bag and lock your door as you exit, following a small stream of students that builds into a decent crowd as you all head to your first classes of the semester.

Glancing down at your class sheet you see you're taking English 101.

The fuck man, guess you still have to take normal classes along with the magic ones.

As you look up you glance around, then turn back towards one of the most stunning examples of the female species you've ever seen.
