Hello again /tg/Some of you have already seen this and are already sick of it, but for anyone who's interested, I recently made a very simple RPG for roleplaying (mostly fighting) with Lego minifigs, using the special Lego d6. It's set in the universe of Spaceman of Futuron, but you can use whatever setting you want.People seemed to like it, so I hope you have fun with it!The pdf file is the image next to this post.
There's also this, if dungeon crawling is more your thing.
>>31268252This is way simpler than BrickQuest. There aren't even any tables to roll on!
>>31268208I really want to use this, where do I obtain all the Lego supplies in the book? I don't have near enough things to make an RPG out of my Lego.
>>31268208When will we get to see the thrilling conclusion of the saga of SX-whatever?
This page is pretty much the entirety of how character creation, advancement, and combat work.>>31268267>>31268289Or go on eBay and search for "pound of Legos", then marvel at people selling 5 pounds' worth of Legos for thirty bucks.
>>31268317>When will we get to see the thrilling conclusion of the saga of SX-whatever?How does 14 hours from now sound?
FUCKING YES LEGO QUEST sort of
>>31268339It'll do, I suppose. I'll be waiting. With a stopwatch.
>>31268324I mean, I have tons of Lego, but I really don't have the specific pieces this game wants.
>>31268383Is that die even an actual thing?
>>31268400Yes, they used to give it out in the Lego board games, but it looks like they are discontinuing them.
>>31268413I had one of the Lego board games, the one where you go between four different times and places to collect artifacts from each. The BBEG was a time-traveling skeleton in a top hat. We never got those dice.
>>31268383You mean like weapons and such? Bricklink usually has most weapons for less than 25 cents each.>>31268400It sure is!
>>31268478What about that die? and how the hell do I search for it?
>>31268512We need a pocketknife to pry off those solid plates.
>>31268544God I couldn't even imagine.
>>31268544Or just use one of these.Seriously, a pocketknife? That's worse than using your teeth.
>>31268577How do you get a brick remover on a smooth piece that's embedded in?
>>31268512>What about that die? and how the hell do I search for it?http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?q=64776Here are all the sellers for the die on Bricklink.>>31268544>We need a pocketknife to pry off those solid plates.Every Lego tool can do it! (hatchets, wrenches, etc).
>>31268632They actually include a minifig wrench with the Creationary game specifically so you can use it to pry tiles off of the die.
>>31269609You can do better than that.
>>31269676>mfw giant robot Ice Babe with 17-OTC OTC
I'm putting together some fun stuff, so if this thread is still up in 11 hours, I'll run the next episode of Assassin Quest in here.
>>31271000I await eagerly.
>>31271000Hell yes! M-tron are my third favourite lego set. Can't wait.
>>31272699Whiteagle pls go
>>31272890Nah, if it was him there would be a lot more text and also namefagging.
>>31272699Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed that Brickwars is pretty much the only generalist Lego wargame out there.I mean, sure, the rulebook is a fun read, and the game itself in the right environment, but it plays so fast and loose with its own rules that it's barely one step above moving your dudes around with sticks and making "pew pew" noises.
>>31276265Make your own!
>>31268289>>31268324I now actually HAVE an OTC through a lucky bid on a lot that was ending in twenty minutes. It included an OTC, some chainsaws of other colors, the recent space ray guns, buncha halberds, swords, a LOT of cutlasses, a cannon, bunch crossbows, some burners, a blunderbuss, buncha Ninjango weapons, two muskets, two rifles, and a revolver.Twenty five bucks. Shit yeah.
Seems pretty neat, I think. I don't know how I have a shitload of legos and roleplaying stuff but never thought to combine them. I'll probably need newer lego pieces though, I haven't bought any legos since before bionicle came out.
>>31278342It was sweet indeed. There's also a dude selling random minifigs with five random accessories for three dollars. Even has a buy three get one deal.
>Lego Quest in charge of being on time for thingsI had a lot more to do today than I realized, and I might have to pause in a few hours, but if people are around we can start playing!
I dropped a link in the Lego General on /toy/, so we might have some new friends joining us.
You are SX3, former assassin of the Empire!
Once you were but an orphan child on the streets of New Jerusalem, but that was years ago, before the Empire raised you from poverty to the ranks of its most feared and lethal assassins! Loosed upon a convening of neutral states by your shadowy master, you were tasked with a single goal - kill the Prime Minister of the Circuit-Men!
Your mission complete, an unexpected second assignment was issued, to slay both of the M-Tron ambassadors at the same gathering! Your dark work, however, was not as simple as it seemed, for as you were soon to learn, the suite of the M-Tron was set upon by the Space Police, attack-dogs of the Empire! All inside were seemingly slaughtered, a fate that you were intended to share!Narrowly escaping the burners of the Space Police, you learned that not all had been slain, for one of the M-Tron ambassadors had survived the killing! Together with the M-Tron Ionicus, you fled the planet for nearby New Jerusalem, city of your birth, to being to unravel the mystery of your attempted termination!
There, in the cantina of Boston Texas, the one being in New Jersusalem to have paid you kindness in your raw childhood, you learned that Ionicus had been framed for the murder of the Circuit-Men's Prime Minister! Before you could secure a disguise for Ionicus, he was accosted by the savage and half-crazed Yoren of Futuron, a derelict warrior seeking to burn out in a blaze of glory! Only too happy to accompany you on your quest of vengeance, Yoren quickly pledged his burner to your cause!
Amidst the teeming crowded market of the low city, you discovered that years ago, an orchestrated effort had been carried out by the Empire to sift through the throngs of orphanlings and take certain youths back with them to the stars, a plot made possible with collusion from High Lord Enir, criminal ruler of New Jerusalem's seedy underworld! Delving even more deeply, rumors began to surface that the death of the Prime Minister and the framing of Ionicus were part of a conspiracy hatched to drive the relentless Circuit-Men to make war on the hapless clans of the M-Tron!Infiltrating the High Lord's den of gambling and hedonism, you sought an unbidden audience with the ancient criminal to learn the identity of the Imperials who orchestrated your induction into the black trade of assassination, only to discover that someone had murdered Enir before he could reveal what he knew of your past!
Facing another foundling assassin, one more youthy and cocksure, you nearly met your end at the charge of a burner, but the lad's recklessness proved to be his undoing, and you dispatched him handily with a nearby crabsteroid! With his dying breaths, he revealed that your dark master had planned your demise, fearing that you were becoming disloyal, and furthermore that the High Lord of New Jerusalem had been slain to prevent you from learning the identity of the one whose hand guided the both of you!
Fleeing ahead of whitehats, Space Police, and any other assassins, you fled New Jerusalem with Yoren, Ionicus, and your Benson android - the first casualty of your band's struggle, for the robot's cranial unit was damaged in a fray on the faded durablate of New Jerusalem's lone spaceport! With no other leads, you pressed into the far reaches of the vacuum, beyond the last vestiges of Imperial outposts, seeking out the strange clans of Ionicus's race, for there might you catch the trail of the villain responsible for orchestrating the rumblings of war 'twixt the Circuit-Men and the M-Tron!
"Fortunes looks well upon us, friend," Ionicus beckons as he consults his transcoder, now recently receiving signal-hails from the beacon somewhere in the blackness ahead. "We are in the realm of Dipolus, my kinsman, and will thus be well-met."Despite his charitable outlook, you are not as certain, for word of Ionicus's supposed deeds amidst the chambered stone halls of Oasis may have yet reached this far-flung colony. As you brood, your ship's communicator leaps to life, as a guardian ahead demands to know the identity of your ship and crew!
To admit that you carry the wanted M-Tron ambassador may prove a boon among his kind, or a terrible yoke! Despite his garment of Imperial make, Ionicus's face will be instantly recognized as kinsman, and left to cower in your ship he will surely expire, for the Needle's provisions of food and air are critically low, spent leavings of your long and desperate trek through uncharted space to reach the airless lands of the M-Tron!Roll a d12 and link to this post for whatever you do, SX3!To roll, put dice+1d12 in the email field.
Rolled 1>>31281554Admitting we have the ambassador works out either way. If he's wanted, we're a bounty hunter. If he's welcomed, we're his saviour.
Rolled 2>>31281554We could always give him the stealth-helmet. Then we can reveal him only to those sympathetic.
Rolled 7>>31281554It would be best to leave the ambassador in hiding with Yoren's protection, and to seek out this Dipolus alone. It would also be handy to seek out repairs for the droid as a cover.
>>31281613Seeking to curry favor with the M-Tron clan, you boldly announce that you carry with you the fugitive Ionicus! The guardian's voice betrays but a hint of excitement, before resuming his somber tone and directing you to a flattened area of a spiny asteroid, rimmed with landing lights for those who would trade for the riches they pull from this heavenly rock!
And thus did you land your Needle in the realm of the M-Tron, one of the few outsiders granted entry into this secretive culture!Your ship's radio crackles to life, as the guardian-voice informs you that a nearby work vehicle has been dispatched to ferry you to the stronghold of the clan.
Rolled 5>>31282025Jump out with Iconicus but have Yoren hide inside the ship for now in case something goes wrong.
Equipment check:One swordThree burnersOne broken robotWhat will you bring with you, SX3?
Rolled 11>>31282069Bring the weapons and whatever's left of the robot's brain. It might come in handy.
>>31282069we take one burner and the robot to get fixedGive Yoren two burners!Give the sword to Ionicus, I don't think he knows how to burner.
>>31282069Enough bubblegum to last us til the next action scene.
>>31282127I second this.
>>31282112>>31282127>>31282616With care Ionicus and his kin unload the Benson android from the back hatch of the Needle, the robot's body still contorted in the position in which it was felled!
" 'ware, rogue," Yoren cautions you. "I have had scarce dealings with the M-Tron, and found them a strange people, with stranger customs. This is the realm of Gravitus and Photicles, and they may not welcome us as easily as gentle Ionicus predicts!"
Leaving your Needle behind, you and your crew cling to the pitted handholds as the crawler jounces and clambers across the unforgiving landscape of this barren asteroid! In deep valleys of eternal shadow strange twisting spires arise, plumes of volcanic rock frozen in eternity by the cold vacuum of space!
"Behold, friends, the lair of my kin!" Ionicus boasts gleefully as the crawler swings wide to approach a small clearing in the spires, in which stands a lit structure guarded by two M-Tron with corers. "Set as it is into the tough skin of this rock, we are safe from all hazard!"
"Come, and rest among my kind!"
>>31282813Make a sarcastic comment about how it's so big.
Set into the bored stone is a ladder descending down into the darkness!Whom amongst you will go first, SX3?
(Sorry about that delay; I will have to put the game on pause in a while, but it will resume a few hours later)
>>31282860Yoren, robot, Ionicus, Us.
>>31282860>>31282888Ditto for the trips.
Rolled 6>>31282860How ominous.>>31282888seconded.
>>31282882Like sands though the hourglass, these are the days of our legos.
>>31282888>>31282904>>31282924Despite your misgivings and the foreboding nature of Yoren's proclamation, you are ushered into the heart of the M-Tron enclave with haste! As you enter a portal into a brightly-lit room, Ionicus casts one hand across the spartan enclosure!"Welcome, friends, to the clan-hold of my kin!"
Before Ionicus may speak further of the muted grandeur of his kind, the recycled air is cut by a bellowing voice that rings out across the plaza!"Be that my drifting kinsman, fair Ionicus?" the burly man clad in powered armor calls jovially, grasping the ambassador in a rough embrace!"Dipolus!" Ionicus shouts with glee. "How I have missed your presence!"
Rolled 10>>31283288>moustacheWhelp. He's evil.
"And this is Ferron, my opposite," Dipolus says, giving introduction to another of his kind clad in similar equipppage."But I forget myself! You must still grieve for your slain opposite, poor Nucleates! With no wives between either of you, his line now rests with his brother Solites!"
>>31283377Holy shit, all M-Trons are twins who are forced into living together forever? No wonder Ionicus is so fucked up right now.
hell yea weird bipolarsexual mtron culture
"We are well-met, Ionicus," Dipolus exclaims, "and these must be your saviors, who spirited you away to us!""Tell me, fair friends, how may we repay you?"Though you yearn to discover if one among these M-Tron conspires with the Empire to overthrow their clans whilst they are beset by the Circuit-Men, you know that an insular people such as they must first be soothed with granted hospitalities! What will you do, SX3?
>>31283486Time to get a robot fixed.
>>31283486Ask for robot fixin's, and then private counsel with the supposed leader and Ionicus to discuss the circuitmen/empire conspiracy.
Rolled 1>>31283486Ask for a place to stay for a while, for we've been traveling hard. Also a huge new robot.
>>31283377We need to leave the infodump to Ionicus, just make sure he has some backup.
>>31283545>>31283566"The android will be repaired and reawakened at once," Dipolus says, as a pair of M-Tron take council in a strange transcoder and cart it away on a hoversled. "Rough may be our lives, but we are craftsmen of such arts."
>>31283566>>31283638>>31283728"Graviticus and Photicles wish to have words with you, though if it is your wont you may retire, for well do we know the breadth of space crossed to return Ionicus to our people!"What will you do, SX3? Regroup and get your stories straight in their guest bedroom, or head straight for the high-ups?
>>31283486Ask for pictures, pictures of Spider-Man!
>>31283916Ask to retire to Ionicus. We are totally going to coach him on what to say all night long under the guise of possible nuptials so as not to be disturbed.
>>31283464I think M-Tron get paired up with their opposite early in their life, but they're not related. They grow up as like, two halves of the same person and probably love each other but not in a sexual way.Not sure if>>31283377means that one wife would be shared between two opposites or if like, a pair of male M-Tron opposites have to marry a pair of female M-Tron opposites at the exact same time.I dunno>>31283465is probably a good way to sum it upQuestion for Lego Quest:Do you keep all the images from past Lego Quests or do you delete them a while after? Do you keep the images from really popular ones (e.g. the very first Spaceman adventure) and discard ones from less popular adventures (some of the Endman ones, that sequel to BLOCKOUT you mentioned)?
Rolled 1>>31283916Regroup. I don't trust these guys as much as Ionicus seems to.Who are these guys anyway? and what's a double? These are things I'm hoping Ionicus can tell us.
>>31283967>>31283989"Send word when you are refreshed," Dipolus says, after depositing you in a room festooned with sleeping mats and taking his leave, "And I shall bear you to Graviticus and Photicles."
>>31284359Alone at last in the belly of the M-Tron clan! What will you do now, SX3?
>>31283968>Do you keep all the images from past Lego Quests or do you delete them a while after?I have a big folder with all the images of every episode of every game. Even the discontinued ones!
>>31284395Time to coach.I bet it will take like an hour. Then after that, espionage!
Rolled 9>>31284395Let's get the lowdown from Ionicus. Also look around for bugs and/or eavesdroppers
Rolled 9>>31284395Duh, steal as much magnet technology as you can so you can build some cool shit later.
>>31284395Rearrange the mats into a sleep-fort. How else can we keep out the Dream Trolls?
"You wish to know of my people?" Ionicus asks, preparing himself for the tale.
>>31284692Aww shit son, it's world-building time.
"You know of course of our practice of opposites, for how I still mourn brave Nucleates!""Every man among the M-Tron has an opposite, whom he works with and lives with through the length of our endless travel 'cross the stars! Such a pairing serves to temper our spirits, lest we drift wayward and become lost in the universe!"
Rolled 11>>31284769What's the chances one M-tron would conspire with the empire and the other not knowing? I'm wondering if we're up against two or one of the guys. And if one of them is evil and we assassinate him will the other one turn on us?
"Ever do the great clan-caravans of the M-Tron move from one great ore-strike to the next, encamping on the very rock we seek to split asunder and from which we pull forth the treasure of magnetronium!""Wayfarers we are, but no soldiers, for there are few amongst us who have fought in wars, distant as we are from all races of Man, and as barren as our lands, we can ill-afford to beat our corers into burners! Indeed, we are a race of traders, not fighters!"
As Ionicus finishes his tale, Yoren asks from his place on a mat where his burner has been laid out before him in the ancient Futuron ritual of cleaning, "What of your women? The vaunted ladies of your kind are more fleeting than the shaded eyes of yon roguish battle-captain!""Our women are cloistered, and no outsiders may look upon them, for such a thing is the gravest taboo," Ionicus counters. "Even one such as I am allowed only to see their presence on holidays, for the wives of an M-Tron are held more closely than even our precious magnetronium!"
>>31284961Trust the Futuron to consider the women. That means that we can't disguise though, we'd be found out immediately. Unless we managed to sneak into where all the M-tronian girls are.
>>31284961So I'm guessing if M-Tron males embody the standard north and south of a magnet, the M-Tron women must embody the much rarer east and west poles?
>>31284804"An M-Tron betraying his opposite?" Ionicus asks, pondering. "Such a thing is not wholly unknown to our people, though it is an abhorrence!"What now, SX3?
>>31284961That's quite the "burner" you've got there.
>>31284961Ask Ionicus if the Empire he knows if there's any closely guarded secret or resource the Circuit Men have that the Empire will try to take from them, or if the Empire are simply using the cyborgs as weapons agaisnt the M-Tron.
>>31285017Welp, we have to find the women now. If there is some shady shit going on with the M-trons, their most precious commodity is going to be at the center of it.But first! We coach Ionicus on how to break the news and get more info.
>>31285067Ionicus, you must prep your people for the idea that they may have a betrayer, or two.
>>31285079"Indeed, the Empire has good cause to seek strife for my people, for as your friend Boston Texas suspected, the Empire has long sought to seize control of our magnetronium stakes!" he exclaims."With our people beset by war with the Circuit-Men, the vast darkened fields will be scoured clean by Imperial hands!"
>>31285306Have you considered using magnets create a giant field around your mines where the circuit men can't operate? Then you'll just be left in peace.
>>31285410The Circuit-Men would just reverse their inner polarities and they'll be fine.
>>31285410>>31285424>>31285449What if they created a constantly changing magnetic field?
>>31285509>"Qucik Ionicus, we have to fill outer space with current! Current everywhere!
>>31285111>>31285188>>31285017>>31285047"Perhaps you are correct, rogue," Yoren says, holding the reassembled burner aloft and aiming it forth, sending Ionicus scurrying out of its vector. "These conspirings often revolve around women, for ever does their lure bedevil the minds of men!"Satisfied that the Space Police's burner will serve his need, Yoren looks between you and the fugitive Ionicus. "Do you aim to have secret words with the women of the M-Tron, despite our friend's protestations of sacrilege, or shall we go to the den of Graviticus and Photicles now that yonder singleton is suitably focused?"What will you do now, SX3?
>>31285644It's only sacrilege if we aren't an M-tron. I am sure a wedding would allow such things.
>>31285644To the women!
>>31285644Let's go and annoy Graviticus and Photicles
>>31285644The twins first, we don't know where the women ARE yet.
>>31286042>>31285788Dipolus is true to his word, and comes at once when bidden!"Refreshed, and so shall I bear you to Photicles and Gravitus! Afore you are brought to them, you must leave all weapons behind," he says, looking pointedly at Yoren who still bears a burner in hand. Your own weapons are secreted inside your stealth armor, though such a ruse may not pass unnoticed among these strange folk! What will you do, SX3?
>>31286533Turn over our weapons minus one as a show of good faith.
>>31286533Tell him it is customary for a Futuron to be armed at all times. Then laugh and say that the burner is his least dangerous weapon. But regardless, Yoren is a man of honour, he will not shoot first! (I hope he will, but let's not tell our host that.)
>>31286533I think we can forgo the weapons. For now. these guys aren't exactly fighters, and there were better opportunities to off us.
>>31286611"I am sorry, friend Futuron, but the word of truce is law!" Dipolus begins to bluster, uneasy at the trespass of a Futuron!
>>31286610>>31286652However, he is soon placated by your show of faith, as you hand across your own burner - though not the blade still hidden inside your stealth armor!
Thus were you led to inner sanctum of these strange nomads, to meet with their lords!
>>31286533Deal in as good a faith as we are able.
Here it comes....
TO BE CONTINUED
>>31286968Damn you Lego Quest! The M-Tron outside terrain was great today! And I think I recognised the vehicle, was it a kit or did you make the pattern up?
All right, I should be back in about two hours and we can have some more fun!>>31287106It is the Celestial Forager, anon! Nice eye!
I missed Lego Quest today.....a-atleast i can read through what an awesome time you guys had today.
>>31288180dude, just wait for like an hour, lego quest will be back.
Sorry lego quest thread,I must ask there was a bionicle quest/thread on /tg/ before. I didn't want to bother any other threads and this one seemed the most relevant, if it all. Thanks in advance
>>31288422There was one, once. /tg/ occasionally has these periods where we have a handful of Bionicle threads, each one hot-on-the-heels of its predecesor, then people get bored of it and there's no Bionicle threads for a while.During one of these a guy put together a little system for Matoran adventures, then ran a quest with it. However, the Bionicle hype seemed to have died down and it wasn't very popular: it only ran for two or three threads. We were an Onu-Matoran miner with a pet crab. We got into a fight with one of the black mini-bohroks who was like trying to be a good guy but went mad or something. Here's the image I made of the main character though.

"This is the shrine of ancient Polaron, who did unite our fractious clan in the days of the first Blacktron incursion," Dipolus whispers reverently as you pass a lit sarcophagus attended by a lone female in red on your way to the chamber of Graviticus and Photicles.
"Yonder lie his sainted bones, though none may pass beyond the ward save the priestess Fusia."
From your vantage, you can see the skeleton, still clad in the trappings of his people, ancient air tanks and space helmet a testament to M-Tron engineering. At his head lies a worked slab of magnetronium, a signal-hailer, and a pair of cut chips of blockonium each worth a thousand credits or more!
"And now, friends, step forth," Dipolus intones...
"... and be received in the chamber of Clan Lords Graviticus and Photicles!"
"Ionicus, kinsman to my Dipolus!" laughs Photicles as he strides forth to embrace the fugitive ambassador. Though the two are obviously opposites, the Clan Lords could not be more different in appearance! Photicles is hale and hearty, possessed with vigorous energy for a man his age, while the visage of Graviticus is wracked with pain, and fate has obviously cast him a terrible roll, for his body appears to have been half-destroyed, kept together only by the rough workings of these vagabond people's technological prowess!
"And this is the outclanner who has brought you to us!" Photicles says, holding his hand high in a salute to you. Graviticus mimics the gesture, though his own hand dips hardly half the height, so feeble is his stature! What will you do now, SX3?
>>31290176Greet them in kind?I hope we coached Ionicus enough.
Rolled 4>>31290176have Ionicus tell them about the possible conspiracy in his best 1920s Radio Drama voice.
>>31290205>>31290235Ionicus pleads with the Clan Lords, laying out the case for conspiracy as eloquently as could be expected of someone in his high stature, and the pair consider his words but for a moment before Photicles exclaims "Such a tale! But no doubt you have seen things that give you cause to believe such! These are troubling tidings you have brought forth, and we must meditate on this!"
"For what you have done, you have the blessing of the clan," Photicles says as he steps forth and addresses you closely. "You may stay here with us and recover your strength," he continues, "For we shall resupply your vessel and give you succor until such time as this knot of intrigue unravels itself!"
"In fact, to honor you, we shall arrange an excursion to show you the MDP, for such a sight no outclanner has ever witnessed!" Photicles proclaims in a voice that brooks no dissent! What will you do now, SX3?
>>31290605wtf is an MDP
>>31290605Ten to one the conspirator is the maimed guy, who hopes to receive superior prosthetics for his part in the plot- perhaps prosthetics of Circuit-Man make, pilfered from that people during the anticipated war?
>>31290605Follow their lead. Also, man, Graviticus looks so sad. I want to give him a hug. Or some kind of rejuvenation treatment.

>>31291096>>31291024Oh my god...
Ionicus is proud to display this work of his people's unrivaled engineering genius! The machine dwarfs you all, and the gigantic drill, suspended from a thin lattice of metal, is terrifyingly weighty as it hangs above you!"From behind the shielded window, the operator may control the mag-drill, as well as the vehicle itself if need be!"
"The tip of the drill is a cone of oranganium, the same mythy material from whence the Ice Men craft their deadly OTCs! Such a substance is necessary, for it is the only element which may withstand the crucial energy focused through the drill!
>>31291280>>31291341Well that is something else.Be awestruck.
"Come friends, let us retire behind the safety of this rock, from which we might watch the mag-drill pry forth riches from this barren worldlet!"
>>31291650>Let's get behind this rock>Watch the drill do it's work>No easy path of escapeIt's_a_trap.gif
Lit by the glow of safety lights and the strange elements that power the machine, you watch as the operator calmly begins to cycle the mag-drill into action, and though you stand in vacuum you still feel the energy of its awesome presence!
"See now how the precisely-placed magnetronium slabs cause the drill to spin, almost as if it were perfectly sized for a giant's hand to grasp it 'tween thumb and forefinger!"
The glare from the oranganium bit is blinding, yet still your perfectly-honed senses notice something at the periphery of glare-

>>31291846Grab our Fop and perform a dynamic dodge. With any luck, Yoren will pick up this sort of thing via his Futuron battle sense and provide covering fire while we clear the blast area.
Rolled 4>>31291915>>31291846shit, I need a dice
Rolled 9>>31291846>>31291862Forgot my dice
>>31291941A near-lifetime of training has left you with suprahuman reflexes, for you leap to Ionicus and throw him aside est he be carved in twain by the fierce heat of the corer!Then-
-you ensure that his assailant can do no more damage!
Rolled 5>>31292232Now kick him in the nadgers.
"Please, don't kill me," the man begs as he pushes himself backward away from you. What will you do now, assassin?
Rolled 11>>31292293"Talk, or you die"
>>31292293Oh shit, where is his other?
Rolled 12>>31292293Talk, or I have Yoren kill your opposite trying to sneak up.
Rolled 7>>31292359Oh yeah, his opposite!"Yoren, keep a look out!"
>>31292334"I- I was ordered to," the man stammers. "By Fissicus!""Fissicus?" Ionicus gasps. "But that is Photicles's personal servant!"
>>31292359>>31292455>>31292464"I caught this one trying to escape!" Yoren boasts, as he nudges another figure toward you!"I fear our welcome may have worn thin!
>>31292554>>31292661Next time on LegoQuest: Lots of assassination!
Oh boy, I had a ton of fun today. There's just about nothing I like more than running Lego Quest! In related news, /toy/ is a little mad at me because I defaced a Blacktron II panel to make the Mag-Drill Platform, so I hope the fun you all had outweighed the crime!
>>31292830There she goes!
>>31292858The final product. /toy/ recommended Brasso, but I used a silver polish and it seemed to work out OK, although Brasso might be faster.
>>31292830>>31292858>>31292875It was fun.And yet at the same time I am horrified! What if we ever do stuff with the Blacktron?
>>31292947>What if we ever do stuff with the Blacktron? They won't use trans-neon green windows!
Ah missed it again! I'll read it in a few hours
Are the previous parts archived somewhere? this looks great
>>31296166yeh m8suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=lego%20questIt has all but a few that peopel forgot to archive, as far as I'm aware.
>>31296166>>31297659I never remember to post these links! And if you really want to delve into the universe of Spaceman, there's a wiki that I need to update now that SX3 has been running around for a while:http://legoquest.wikia.com/wiki/Lego_Quest_Wiki
LQ, what's the more common cause for quests not getting finished? Lack of interest on the players behalf, or you getting bored of the premise/finding a new stache of Lego bits you'd rather use?
>>31298077I suppose it's a little of A, and a little of B.Some games fizzle out because I end up painting myself into a corner on account of just having a vague idea for the start of a game (Prisoner Quest, West Quest). The aborted BLOCKOUT sequel died on the vine because nobody was posting, although as soon as I switched to Davey Bree's Noodle Quest a bunch of players showed up in the thread, so who knows how that could have turned out if I had waited another hour before starting the thread. The best games are the ones where I don't have a clue what's going on and just let player supposition write the story.
Lego Quest is the best.
>>31298310>tfw no blockouti want to be the little cybergirl
>>31301157Thanks, anon!>>31301598That was probably the most well-received game after the original. I know I had a ton of fun running it.
OK, for the people who were mad that SX3 was too sneaky for the wiki, here you go:http://legoquest.wikia.com/wiki/SX3Currently working on dose red links.
>>31309410I love this stuff, man. Lotta cool imagination goes into that.>>31305929Oh no! Now Lego Quest is going to be assassinated for revealing her!
