You are Flying officer Julian Reber of the Royal Air Force. You joined the RAF to fight the BETA, aliens who threaten to exterminate humanity. You're currently assigned to the defense of the Italian peninsula. Your squadron scored a crucial victory against tunnelling BETA carriers, but that was just the beginning of your mission.

You're currently in a Royal Navy carrier's infirmary for your regular check-up. As it turns out, pumping pilots full of stimulants and sending them out to fight around the clock is not a good idea; side effects include fatigue, nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath, palpitations, heart failure and death. You've been holding it together, but it looks like some other members of your squadron aren't doing as well as you are.

"You look like shit, Reber," Group captain Hall says as he puts his shirt back on.

"Yes, sir. Thank you for letting me know, sir," you say. "I'll take it under advisement."

The blood pressure cuff wrapped around your arm slackens.

"Your blood pressure is normal," the nurse says. "Please let us know if you feel ill."

You nod to the nurse and she goes off to see her next patient. You turn back to Hall once she's out of earshot.

"I don't suppose you know how much longer this is going to take, sir?"

"Just one more push and we should be done," Hall says. "Just don't expect it to be an easy one. On the bright side, you might get laid after we're done."

"I'll make a note in my to-do list," you say.

Your medical examination goes off without a hitch. It looks like you've got one more mission in you after all. Or the RAF thinks the risk of your heart exploding while you're in a TSF is worth it.

You aren't Wrenloft. If you were, you would have used the d20.

You were one of the main factors why Peter Parker Quest got a retcon, the rolls that fuck up peter life and given him multiple parker luck.

why would I bother wasting a d20?

based upon the last tweet, he's planning on running tomorrow morning or tomorrow night

Well, that didn't take as long as I expected. If people are still around, I can wrap up the preliminaries tonight and deal with the actual fight tomorrow.

You decide to look for Vivian. Elaine's a fellow TSF pilot and while the two of you aren't exactly veterans, this is the sort of strain you've been trained to withstand. Vivian, however, was trained for CIC. It'll take her a while before she's used to a 'round the clock schedule.

You find her sitting in the infirmary, eyes half-closed. She sips a glass of water and tilts her head back to rest. She looks like she hasn't slept in days and her skin is looking pale.

"You need to touch up your make-up," you say as you sit next to her.

"You wouldn't notice if we turn the lights off." Vivian stifles a yawn.

"We're not quite there yet," you say.

"Don't I know it." She takes another drink. "Dover is going to feel like a vacation after this."

"Are you sure you're going to make it through?"

Vivian nods.

"I'll be fine," she says. "I'll looking after the squadron like I always do. Just make sure the Typhoon doesn't crash."

"No problem." You stand and offer Vivian your hand. "When are we due out next?"

Vivian takes your hand and pulls herself up.

"Thirty minutes," she says. "So I hope the nurses didn't bleed you dry."

Launching 30 minutes after a medical examination isn't the stupidest thing you've ever done, but it's up there. Still, it's necessary. The nurse says you're clear to pilot, so you need to pilot.

"I'll go look for Elaine while you get ready," Vivian says.

"All right, I'll be waiting in the Typhoon."

You head off to the locker rooms to get changed and then wait for Vivian in your Typhoon's cockpit. She soon arrives with Elaine in tow. The two kiss just inside your field of vision. Vivian walks into your Typhoon casually, but Elaine winks at you and sticks her tongue out before heading for her Tornado.

"Let's go," Vivian says as she settles into the Typhoon's back seat.

>"I'm ready when you are. Just give me the coordinates."

Sure OP. Might as well get that harem shit going.

Having a relationship with one person is quite easy, two girls though...not so easy.

Three? Having Sex with them is one thing, going out and doing all other kinds of shit? That hard.

What do the girls think of each other?

"I could use a kiss too, you know."

If Vivian's flustered about getting caught, it doesn't show. She just forwards the mission data to your HUD.

"Sorry, Elaine has first dibs, then Mary," she says.

"Remind me again why I cut myself out of this arrangement." You move the Typhoon into launch position at the head of the squadron. "Course is clear, we'll be launching in five minutes."

"Short-term deprivation in exchange for long-term profits," she says. "You need to have more vision. And the squadron is forming up on Elaine and us."

"I don't think this quite qualifies as profit, Vivian." You settle the Typhoon down and sink into your seat into your seat. "Look, are you sure you're all right with this?"

"Absolutely certain," she says. "Otherwise, I wouldn't have thought about it. Elaine's inheritance is going to be the most difficult part to figure out anyway. Do you think she'd agree to foster my second-born child?"

You have no idea if Vivian is messing with you, high on stimulants or serious, and you have no idea which possibility is the most terrifying.

>"You can ask her after we're done."
>"We can ask her right now."
>"SO, how about that mission? That sounds like a great mission! Let's talk about it some more!"

"You can ask her after we're done," you say as you begin the Typhoon's launch sequence.

"I'll make sure not to forget," Vivian says. "And while we're talking about this, how do you want to deal with the sleeping arrangements? There's seven days in a week, so the three of us can get two days each and share one day, but I wasn't sure if you'd mind having an audience."

"... this is for the time I changed in front of you while you were talking with the Group captain, isn't it?"

"Yes."

You are very glad that you're the only person on this ship who's even allowed to know that the Typhoon has a flight recorder.

"You can put that on hold for the moment." You follow Elaine's Tornado as it launches off the runaway, and the rest of the squadron follows soon after. "Right now, we have aliens to kill."

You turn the Typhoon towards your designated flight path...

You head for the Italian shoreline, making sure to stick to lanes that have been clear and to tip your feet in the water. Now's not the time to get sniped by lasers.

"Our support is in place to handle the lasers," Vivian says. "Sensors report approximately 5000 hostiles on the shore, standard BETA formation."

"I see them," you say. It looks like the Destroyers are at the back, so you won't have to worry about hitting a wall of bullet-proof aliens before you can kill something.

"Contact in 5 minutes," Vivian says.

You place your fingers on your assault cannon's triggers.

LASERJAGD TIME BITCHES
>>
>>31671357
Individually, none of your squadron's TSFs carry enough armour-piercing rounds to deal with this many BETA. Together, however, you have more than enough. At this distance, your 120mm cannons are more accurate than the 36mm and the Forts are your best targets. There are a few dozen of them walking around the shoreline. You make very short work of them.

However, this gives the Destroyers time to head towards you. Fortunately, Vivian is able to calculate a targeting solution that can hit their flanks and your squadron tears them to shreds. Once you reach the beach, it's a simple matter to move over or around the Destroyers and wade into the helpless mass of BETA before you. The BETA aren't immediately wiped out, but they're scattered and putting the rest of them down won't even require a concentrated effort.

"We've reached the shore and secured a landing," Vivian says. "You can start moving in supplies- Wait, something's wrong."

You hear her mutter to herself as she works at her console.

"Damn! Our support was wiped out! Arthur squadron, we have incoming Lasers. Repeat, we have incoming Laser-class BETA."
