>>
>>31754493
That, that sounds insane enough to work would the airplanes and other such things that carried the evas just not be fast enough or get shot down by the microwave trail that this thing would leave behind?

Then to take it down would they need to burrow down and hit key points of the wings to bring it down while fighting off escourts that are flying around like small bat like creatures the size of normal eva/jagers?
>>
>>31754385
I agree entirely. Plot is bad, animation is passable, EVAs are passable in design and their subtle messages aren't subtle in the slightest
>>
Jaeger vs EVA vs Jet Alone(that one with the hammer)
>>
>>31754622
Pretty much. Rockets are the only option because there are no planes that can fly above it while carrying a Jaeger, and it can shoot down any planes that approach it from below. Trying to kill it with nukes would destroy almost every electronic device in the western hemisphere, so the only way to bring it down is to land on top and manually cut away its wings.

Evas have nowhere to plug in, so they're working on a 5 minute timer, and the Jaegers have at most 30 before it reaches land.

I can definitely see something like that being used by the Australians. They built the fastest Jaegers but were still kept turning up to late to save thousands of Pacific islanders. While the Overboost Unit has helped with response times repair times have shot up, not least due to Australians pilots insistence on aiming their Jaeger straight at the Kaiju to guarantee the first punch

I had these two queries from the last thread

1) Do EVAs still have the power cord requirement? I think it should be kept because it gives the great narrative image of the very effective, mobile and AT field using EVAs protecting the major urban centers. While the Jaegars ironically slower but able to operate outside their protective zones to take the fight to the Kaiju/angels but not as effectively.

The Jaegars would be seen as heroic and noble knights who minimize civilian casualties, making progress in the war and being generally stable people.

The EVAs however, are essentially horrible monsters (though the populace does not know the true origins) piloted by teenagers who are either insane or straight borderline hate humankind, the only ones who sync with EVA.

So theres a lot of resentment but also understanding that EVAs combat wise are simply the best option against Kaijus when conditions permit. For somewhat realistic circumstances, EVA should have backup batteries lasting at least an hour or so, enough time for a heroic last stand or end of evangelion bloodletting.

2) It is simply too hilarious an idea not to have a gold plated gulf arab jaegar piloted by a pair of adventure princes. Compassionate and overthetop despite the drawbacks of their Jaegar, they have an unlimited war chest to solve their problems. They frequently run into and work with their Isreali EVA counterpart, a neurotic jew whose entire family history is about being depressed.

Adding in an Iranian componenet would be funny too but Im not sure just how
>>
>>31755293
yes to the Arabs but no to the Jew, he needs a better story.

how about interested in fighting the angles due to the religious thing. I've never seen Evangeline
>>
>>31755175
It's father and son for the wife/mom bond they have. The wife was the dad's co-pilot and then used in the son's EVA. The family is able to reconnect in the drift once the son becomes a Ranger too.
>>
>>31755293
I agree with Sinbad Rangers and the power cord for EVAs.
>>
>>31754353
EVAs have been nerfed, the Kaiju have been buffed a bit,and the angels have been replaced with Kaiju
>>
>>31755293
I can think of a way to have Iran get involved. They could have made a deal to get the West off their backs, supported by China and Russia, and in exchange Iran would have switched its military production capabilities, gearing it to produce Jaeger parts en masse away from both the Pacific and Atlantic breaches while simultaneously being able to quickly supply Europe and Asia. That way, they kind of end up doing what the American Midwest does for the US, Canada, and South America.

All the while, they provide Ranger candidates, and keep a Jaeger or two of their own in case Israel gets any ideas.
>>
>>31755112
Too bad the rest of the movie was complete dogshit
>>
>>31753627
I think that there should be a Shatterdome/NERV base in West Africa. Like we go with the idea of some of the poorer Third World countries submitting to a more powerful country for protection
>>
>>31755924
Hard to justify an Iranian Jaeger, especially if people (Israel) start asking after them. Still, nothing against keeping all the parts for one in storage. In the same warehouse. With a control centre nearby. What, its not like its an assembled model or anything
>>
>>31755993
It wouldn't really be a case of submitting themselves to a foreign power. I see it more as NERV and the PPDC realizing that "Oh hey, we've got a massive fucking blind spot to the south of Europe. Ok, which of you fuckers wants a shatterdome in their country?"
>>
China/Russian and America/Europe export their Jaegar programs and protection across the third world for unrestricted access to raw resources.

Conflict between the major powers never occur but in the developing latin, african, asian and middle eastern markets you get breakouts of jaegar on jaegar fights.

I guess it really depends just how easy is it to build Jaegars and EVAs in this universe.

I think some like the idea of a single country being able to at least build one minor Jaegar so even North Korea can get in on it but it would logically mean countries like China or USA to have dozens of Jaegars which isnt really fun. Only major world powers should be able to build their own giant robots, with even Europe coordinating production.

Other countries need to lease or accept or at the most have a lot of outsourced production. So Veneuzula, Brazil, Argentina and Cuba could coordinate on one but with alot of russian and chinese influence.

If I recall PR fluff correctly, mass-production Jaegers were a thing at the start of the war once the project itself got off its feet, with entire assembly lines of first-gen Jaegers being made. All of which started getting systematically rekt as the Kaiju got tougher, meaning that there was more investment into creating super-powerful Jaegers. Think of it as a country buying a shitton of T-72s for defense, but then buying a few Abrams after those got destroyed.

What I'm trying to say is, perhaps the smaller/less industrialized countries (Iran, Norks, etc...) build mass-production models for themselves and country's who'd like the protection, having them as 2nd-line defenses, or even just parts for the major powers, while said major powers build and deploy the Gypsy Dangers and Chernos of the world.
>>
>>31756111
There's a huge gap between building and repairing. Majorly industrial first world nations should be able to make them from scratch, but the construction of replacement parts is farmed out to developing countries like the ones you mentioned, in part to allow them to maintain their own second hand Jaegers
>>
>>31756242
The most Jaegers operating at one time was 30 in 2019. Then the Kaiju attacks started escalating and losses started piling up, 12 were destroyed in 2024 alone leaving only 3 active (Cherno Alpha, Crimson Typhoon, Striker Eureka)

Should the MP EVAs be as powerful as they were in EoE?

NERV is an organization run by bastards, but SEELE are flat out cultists. So having them as antagonists wouldn't be wrong, would it?
>>
>>31756416
EVAs in general would be nerfed, and Seele makes the perfect antagonist
>>
>>31756416
Would be as wrong as having CIA fuckers as enemies in a setting where you play as 'murican muhreens.

>>31756436
Speaking of antagonists, I was thinking of maybe having smugglers and arms dealers pulling Hannibal Chous worldwide, not only selling Kaiju parts to people, but also EVA and Jaeger parts, obviously stolen or recovered from combat zones.
>>
>>31756416
Either they act as diversions or cannon fodder tactics to overwhelm the kaijus or they are heavily specialized.

So some might rush with a new sword to jaegar already in conflict or you might have one bringing an experimental weapon that couldnt be risked with the important jaegars. Such as that ion cannon from evangelion.

>>31756326

I think their mobility and AT fields and sync rates ought to make them superior to Jaegars by default. But pilots/nerv can do things to increase the instability of their pilots to sync more and unlock even greater powers but at the risk of him going insane and causing a rampage. Sorta like the beastmode of Unit 2.
>>
>>31756436
So, EVA's are faster, and maybe even a littler stronger than Jaegers but are leashed guard dogs to the hunting mecha's
SEELE loses the christian overtones and becomes a transhumanist cult group who believe the superior genetic engineering tech harvested from the Kaiju will allow humanity to ascend to godlike status. They cast themselves as Prometheans, stealing the fire of gene-knowledge from the creators of the Kaiju
>>
>>31756460

Now theres an idea!

A game mode where you play the pilots of Latin America/Africa/South East Asia after a particularily dark hour of the war. Say a disaster forces PPC and Nerv to consolidate defense only to the major world powers and effectivily leaving the rest of the world to rot.

A UN backed inititaitve placed whatever resources couldnt be evacuated under regional kaiju defense commands.

You have access only to the most 2nd rate jaegars and the most unstable EVAs with whatever parts you can beg from the big boys. You are forced to deal with Hannibal Chau types to get the materials, funds and support to keep the defense alive. All the while, Kaijus are coming out in greater force.
>>
>>31756326
does this mean their will be two different classes of jaeger?
>>
>>31756461
The EVAs and Jaegers would be pretty balanced, some bits from the previous thread.

>One of the few times in which both Evas and Jaegers saw service side by side was when a double Kaiju event hit Tokyo. Eva unit 00 and Jaeger Coyote Tango were both deployed. It is noted that the Eva engaged the Kaiju in the centre of Tokyo, causing major collateral damage while Coyote Tango lured the other Kaiju away from the city to minimise damage. Criticsm was levelled at the Eva pilot for the damage caused, further souring relations between the Evas and the Jaegers.

>Proponents of the EVA program often point to the relative efficiency of the biomechanical walkers, as EVA pilots almost universally defeat Kaiju faster than Jaeger crews. However EVA detractors are equally fast to mention the recklessness of such actions, as well the extremely long recovery time of EVA pilots due to extreme physical exhaustion due to over aggressive action in the field. For every minute saved in the field, an EVA pilot requires an extra hour of rest compared to equivalent Ranger teams
>>
>>31756522
We XCOM now.
>>
>>31756549
>A further point of contention is in the mental strain. While Jaeger pilots have the dangers of chasing the RABIT and sharing memories with their partners, this also spreads the load between the two pilots, who operate as a team. Eva pilots however are young adults with an underdeveloped brain, piloting their war machines singlehandedly, who suffer far more mental and emotional strain compared to Jaeger Pilots, and are more likely to crack under the pressure.

>In a strange contradiction EVA pilots break faster but Rangers break harder. While over all a Ranger suffers less mental strain through the drift, when this link is overwhelmed (most often through the loss of the drift partner) the Ranger breaks completely, and it is very rare for them to ever drift again. Conversely all EVA pilots suffer from a degree of psychological instability after any real length of deployment. As they run themselves closer and closer to breaking point they drift better and better with their EVA's. EVA unit commanders are forced into a delicate balancing act between the health of their pilots and the security of the cities in their AO
>>
>>31756559
>Another point is in the durability of their engines. Evas damage more easily, but conversely Evas have been observed to be easier to repair and can function despite taking large amounts of damage. Jaegers are physically tougher and better armoured, but once they start taking damage their effectiveness degrades drastically, and badly damaged Jaegers cannot be repaired the way Evas are and are usually sent to Oblivion Bay.
>>
>>31756553
Pacific Rim has always been XCOM. Just with mechs.
>>
>>31756553
That..is actually a pretty cool idea. PPDC and NERV both have to report to a UN council, and constantly jockey for position. Jaegers are showing more consistent success but the EVA projects failures are overshadowed by their tendency to win big when it counts
>>31756540
Its more like the older models of Jaeger are now obsolete for direct assault work, but are strong enough to hold the line
>>
>>31756540
i think its more a heavy tank/medium tank diference on jaegers
the big ones like the ones seen on PR would be the heavys, strong as all hell but costly to make and needs a long time to get out the produnction line
the MP jaegers would be mediums, a cheaper faster way the get someone on the fronline and suport the big ones
plus more boys covering your back is aways good
>>

I'm not a huge fan on the idea of mass produced Jaegers, how about technologies developed from the Jaeger Program being applied to conventional vehicles to act in support roles. Like plasma cannon tanks, anti-kaiju missile launchers, railgun emplacements, etc.
>>
>>31756540
Not necessarily. Mechanics-wise, the MP versions ought to be somewhat weaker, but with the upside that you could deploy two or three instead of just one. Either PC or NPC controlled allies. Somewhat of an actual response team to single Kaijus, with double-events and onwards given to the tougher Jaegers and EVAs.

>>31756594
In regards to older Jaeger models, perhaps we could have them be the current MP models. Think having mini-Chernos running around.

Also, regarding NERV and PPDC vying for favor, there should be something like an "OFFICIAL UNITED NATIONS KAIJU TERMINATION LIST", which is supposed to be used to study previously-fought Kaijus to try and figure out what future ones will be capable of, seeing as it has a record of all encountered ones.
Everyone uses it as a scoreboard between NERV and PPDC.
>>
I think the bigger = better/advanced is the wrong approach.

Certainly you need the super heavy classes to deal with larger kaiju threats but the mediums should always have some form of role.

Mediums for example can be brought to a scene far quicker than heavies and operate in landscapes less suited for heavies such as mountains, deserts, woodlands etc...

Mediums also have a greater deal of mobility that would be useful against the agile kaijus. And are far quicker/easier to repair and build. And this also makes them open to modifications. So swimming aparatus, jetpacks, or anti plasma armour.

Newer medium models emphasize speed, efficiency and mobility without sacrificing their existing structural integrity.
>>
>>31756594
>>31756604
i actually meant more along the line of classes.

class A would be American/Chines/Russian, building completely new custom jeagers
class B would be smaller counties who built their own jeagers from second had parts.

you could make that an advantage with class B having more available parts due to being made out of stock parts making them easier to replace and repair while class A hits harder and are more technologically advanced then B but would require a longer time to rebuild and not all the parts could be replaced.
>>
>>31756640
Superweapons like oxygen destroyer and dimension tide?

Hell yeah. Could probably replace N2 mines, which are fucking silly.
>>
>>31756640
i can see suport vehicles (choppers acted as a extra pair of eyes in the movie) but not for fighting a kaiju could simply pick and throw and tank or not-massive gun emplacement
>>
>>31756688
bigger bot, bigger guns essentially. does that also mean that you would send jeagers in with groups, say 1 big one and 3 smaller ones to draw out the kiju while the biggest one smashes it into the ground
>>
>>31756654
See, that list idea is great, can you imagine the gambling that would go on? Not only can people bet on the actual fights (only bets on the Jaegers are excepted, at least in public establishments), but you've got a league table to boot
>>
>>31756688
The entire point of the Jaeger is being a giant slab of metal that can stop even the largest Kaiju dead in its tracks and prevent it from reaching a city. Making a smaller Jaeger defeats the purpose of the whole program.

>operate in landscapes less suited for heavies such as mountains, deserts, woodlands etc...
The only area they should be designed to operate in coastal waters. If a Kaiju gets inland far enough to reach a different environment something has gone horribly wrong
>>
>>31756730
I'm guessing their role would be to shoot at the kaiju from a distance to either distract it or wound it while the Jaeger closes in.

Maybe you could just be creative and shoot napalm or some such at it's eyes. At the very least it'll mess with it's vision.
>>
>>31756749
can we get comentators on official combat recordings?
>>
>>31756796
This. Nobody would expect a maser tank to kill a Kaiju, but it cauterizes the wounds it inflicts on the kaiju, making it a better conventional alternative to bombs and bullets.

I'm really tempted to suggest Kaiju monster girl pilots.

I know I'll be criticized, but maybe the aliens try the whole "kid with parental issues" thing. Captured or cloned humans mutated into evil pilots. Like the Deep Ones in X-COM Terror from the Deep.

You can justify both hybrid experiments pretty easily.

The Rei and Kaworu clones have a small amount of Kaiju DNA and are designed to study the hive mind's capabilities. They aren't linked to the kaiju hive mind (at first) but instead their own limited one.

The invaders develop kaiju girls in an attempt to study human individualism, personal experience and self improvement (pic related), as well as EVA style piloting.

Most Kaiju "drift" with the hivemind, but kaiju hybrids do not and instead only partially synchronize with the hivemind at varying percentages. The kaiju hybrids are initially loyal to the aliens and their cause, convinced that humans stole their clay and would exterminate all kaiju lifeforms if given the chance, but can be swayed with kindness and empathy. Not all humans would give them empathy, though.

It might have started as an excuse for monster girls, but I think the idea has some merit so long as you keep it fairly straightforward.
>>
>>31759135
Improve Ranger reaction times? Make it like Machinehead from Redline, cyborg bodies that literally plug into the Rangers

New York is a bit far north, a Shatterdome built somewhere near the naval base in Virginia would be a better location.

So the US would have four Shatterdomes. One in Alaska, one on the west coast, one at the Panama Canal, and one on the east coast. We should probably update the map with base locations.
>>
>>31759170
Evas seem more dexterous and speedy in general. So there would have to be some bonus that the Non Mounted weaponry would provide. Because yeah Jaegers need "Special Thunder Punching Fists or Chain Swords" Eva's could swap out a chain gun for a electron sniper rifle.

Evas could feasibly have more Ranged variety.
While Jaegers have melee variety.
>>
>>31759156
>>31759193
The core of Jaeger doctrine is preventing the Kaiju from every coming ashore in the first place. While with an EVA they would be forced to wait for it to make landfall

Jaegers optimized for melee combat with built-in weapons; nothing longer ranged than the anti-kaiju missiles. Evas can just pick up any Eva sized weapon and use it, so they can deploy with battleship-level ranged weaponry and transition to melee with blades or hand-to-hand as needed.
>>
>>31759218
Actually, thinking about it, Evas would have more variety period because of their dexterity. Being able to equip a variety of arms to fit the situation would certainly help balance their need for a power cord and/or super batteries.
>>
>>31759228
But they do kill them quicker. Think of it like a Jaeger fight is a movie set piece, the EVA's handle monsters of the week on TV
>>
>>31759218
Remember Jaegers try to avoid actual wounds rather for blunt force damage to minimize Kiaju Blue.
Evas just try to take it down as fast as possible.
>>
>>31759171
I was actually looking more into the EVA side of it.

Seeing as Cyborgs synthetic muscle is downright insanely powerful, would this tech be turned on Eva units?

I know EVAs are basically Cyborgs already but the level of technicality they had was fairly primitive.

So it all comes down to how strong is EVA flesh exactly and if Cyborg technology could be improved to add in electrolyte healing factors and other nasty things MGR cyborgs had.

It would really blur the line between EVA and Jaeger though.
>>
>>31759271
But Jaegers tend to make the kill outside of the city, while an EVA is always going to be fighting inland. Even without accounting for how reckless the EVA pilots tend to be there is always going to be more collateral damage
>>
>>31759212
I dunno. Something about the widows peak look and inexplicable sexy.
But you seem pretty confident otherwise. So yeah.
>>
>>31759274
Could also be that between Eva's positron weaponry and PR's plasma guns there might be more anti-Kaiju weapons that won't spread kaiju blue.
>>
>>31759278
Also, remember the winds of destruction and their varied forms?

Imagine that shit on an EVA unit. Imagine Mistral type EVA units or Monsoon type EVA units.
>>
>>31759271
Jaegers are used to intercept Kaiju before they reach cities and such, so they natural cause less collateral due to rarely being in the city
>>
>>31759307
>inexplicably sexy
There's nothing inexplicable about that sexy look.
>>
>>31759302
Ah I see, sorry, thought were talking about a scenario where they were both inside the city
Then yeah, EVA's in general cause more destruction. Hence the NERV focus on good PR, they need it to keep up vacillating public confidence
>>
>>31759356
But if they are in the city, they might not be dexterous enough to prevent the amount of collateral damage an EVA could.

Jaegars are cumbersome, EVAs are agile. Both cause collateral damage, it's just that EVA could hypothetically minimize it.

Anno's a huge classic SF dork.
There's little shout outs to classic sf all through the series, and even in Rebuild. In 2.22, the noise made by the dummy plug when triggered is actually the phrase "To be dominated by me is not as bad for human pride as to be dominated by others of your species.", a quote from the film "Colossus: The Forbin Project", played in reverse.
>>
>>31759394
It does make a little sense.

Jaeger's are rather impossibly huge by our standards, but Metal Gear Solid had giant robots in the 70ies.

The Patriots could just be another name for SEEL.

Quite frankly, the Cyborg tech even bridges the gap between how EVA's and Jaegers with the technology sort of meshing between them.

Maybe Antarctica is where some frozen Ancient Kaiju are. Maybe thats the source of the Eva Kaiju DNA rather than reaching into the Breach.

Would have to be the other way around, EVA pilots have to start as teens with developing brains the right level of psychosis. They burn out quickly though, by the time they reach adulthood they can no longer maintain a sync with an EVA. With nowhere else to do, washed out EVA pilots often enroll at the Jaeger academy. The mental baggage they carry from their time as EVA pilots can make finding a proper drift partner troublesome

Maybe EVA prototypes could only be realistically made once this technology caught up with Seele's research that came from Metal gear research just like Jaegers, giving a good reason for both to basically come out at the same time.

>>31760343
Not especially, Jaeger Anti-AT tech would probably be contact interference based, while AT-field nullification works on an area of effect.

In essence, a Jaeger's melee weapons can punch right into a Kaiju, but an Eva's field can make it vulnerable to a conventional weapons bombardment.

>Jaegers have a mechanism in their fists and weapons to nullify AT fields, allowing them to attack Kaiju

>>
>>31760445
The only way for a jaeger to have an AT field is if it was a jaeger/EVA hybrid, which we established China would be making to an extent
>>
>>31760448
It all depends on the kaiju. Some have very strong AT fields, others have none at all. EVAs have average AT fields, usually stronger than the kaiju they are facing.

The Kaiju with strong AT fields should be piloted, in my opinion, but nobody's really commented on that.
>>
>>31760448
Since AT fields are weaker, the sheer force of Jaeger punches shouldn't have trouble getting through
>>
>>31760535

>>
>>31760614
The Hivemind is the precursor version of drifting. The movie explains it as such.

So what would the precusor version of an EVA be? It'd have to be something involving individualism and denying the "other."
>>
>>31760614

>>
>>31760645

Although the training would probably emphasize the synthesis between the two to ease recruits into it.
>>
>>31760673
Pretty much this. The AT field is basically individualism as a superpower and a couple kaiju having the capability to become recurring enemies that grow in experience and can interact to a certain degree with PCs could provide for interesting story directions.

Yeah, monster girl waifus is one direction you could take it, but you could also make the kaiju pilots into NPC murderers that the PCs hate.

>>31760819
Ever considered that maybe EVAs are a new concept to the precursors and one successful enough that the precursors steal it?

The AT field is all about trying to isolate yourself from other people. Hedgehog's dilemma. A race with a hivemind cannot do that very well, perhaps not at all. So in order to get better at AT fields, the precursors would have to create pilots that are isolated from the hive mind enough to match the AT field abilities of the EVA.
>>
>>31760865

It's just a terrible idea.

And Precursors are magic dimensional gods. Who says what they can and can't do with AT fields?
>>
>>31758900

>>
>>31760912
AT fields are a well established concept in NGE. Unless you want to change what AT fields fundamentally are, the precursors will have to play by the rules.
>>
>>31760954
This isn't NGE though, and EVA's are being built from Kaiju genetic material
>>

>>
>>31761062

>>
>>31761119

>>31761219
Well yeah, it's a damn Cat 5 after all, right?

The Engineers probably used the AT Field as the medium for their Hivemind, and thus never realized it could be used as a powerful reality bending weapon.
Humanity stumbles upon this with the Eva, but when the Engineers try to replicate this in a single package, they get Monty Kaiju!
>>
>>31761219
An AT field is basically pure individuality. It's the force that repels your will from the will of others.

So yes. Anything with individuality has an AT field. The Precursors probably don't because they've achieved instrumentality long ago. But their kaiju could by separating themselves from the hivemind. HOWEVER, the entire reason for the hivemind is that kaiju are not only savage monsters, but also too damn big to control themselves. It's the same reason why Jaegars need two pilots to drift.

Now while that sounds like a catch 22, the other factor is that kaiju have multiple brains. So you could create an AT field by having one brain isolate itself from the hivemind, though the resulting AT field wouldn't be very strong.
>>
>>31761290

Indeed, but in order to get a stronger AT field, you'd need to do as an EVA does and have an angsty opinionated teenager in the pilot seat.

Waifu-ing is a legitimate concern, but I think it can be solved by making kaiju pilots total bastards. Introduce them by having them kill off an entrie ranger team and then taunt the PCs loudly through a communication system that goes from the kaiju to the hivemind to the undersea internet cables.

They should be identifiable villains, first and foremost. Maybe some waifuing if the playerbase wants it, but that's not all they're good for.

Well, assuming nerv keeps its standards, Newt probably wouldn't be able to get very far. Their organization needs to much secrecy and manipulable people in the upper ranks.

Mako would probably use the Evas as a threat to Pentecost to get her into a Jaeger sooner. Sort of a 'Let me pilot one of our giant robots, or I'll go work for the competition' teenage rebellion phase.

Cool.

Now im wondering what Mark classification "Delta Dream", "Blade Wolf" would fall under.

And what the Hell would Monty even look like. He's a LVL 5, nearly Angel Tier.
>>
>>31761859
It needs something to connect to internet cables, I was thinking something like an angler fish antenna, the rest looking kind of similar to the other cat 5, maybe less lights and more fins?
Just an idea.
>>
Should Monty give SEELE orders or something? They are a cult, after all.
>>
>>31761956
SEELE seems themselves as in command of the situation, they idolize the Precursors for having gone through Instrumentality already, proving their goal is possible
>>
>>31761859
Delta Dream: gen 3 like Gypsy
Blade Wolf: gen 5 so it has speed like Striker Eureka

>>31761956
They either would love him and he would think its creepy or they would think he is a heritic.

The JaEva seele are trying to help end humanity, Monty is bro tier and wants humanity around so he can have more lols online.
>>
>>31761956
Maybe he fucks with them a bit, pretends to be in charge or something.

For the Giggles of Course.

If Kaiju can Giggle that is.
>>
>>31761956
Yes, but they should be completely nonsensical whims, like having a bunch of people walk up and down the square!
>>
>>31761956
I don't think so, they would see the Kaiju as mere tools of the Precursors.
>>
>>31762003
Monty seems like the giggling type. He's basically a NEET kaiju who sits at the bottom of the ocean stealing internet access and is only tolerated by the Precursors because he spies on the humans.
>>
>>31762054
not that the info he gives them is particularly useful since he came into contact with humans. the precursors don't know what to make of these "memes" nor the apparent obsession with felines that the humans have.
>>
>>31762054
I doubt the precursors can do anything about monty at this point now that he is disconnected for the hivemind, they probably want to stop him but don't have a way to.
They probably can even get info from his mind.
>>
>>31762098
I think ANY info he gives is of dubious use to the Precursors. Let's say he taps into the Shatterdome's security cameras. It's not like watching the camera feed of the Ranger's dorms gets them any useful information. It might, but not usually.

>>31762042
Some would argue that angels are mere tools of God, doesn't devalue a visit from the heavenly host
SEELE would probably obsessively map all Kaiju activity to try and discern some grander plan. Some members even believe they can use the pattern to predict the future
>>
>>31762187
Indeed, there is probably a great schism within SEELE due to the actions of Monty...

...Probably because he Liked SEELE 04's funny cat photos.
>>
>>31762187
What would typical SEELE operations be? I have an idea to give SEELE a resource system based on what the PCs do that unknowingly benefits SEELE, and SEELE would "spend" these points in order to do various actions.

Like, say, construct an MP Eva or smuggle a kaiju egg into New York.
>>
>>31762157
What if he gets into gaming?
>Monty gets really good at dota or league or something

Well they are at their foundation your basic Illuminati Globe runners, so most of their mundane stuff is just keeping the wheels turning...
