You are Michael Groves, a boy turned magical girl through an accident of magic. And you are trapped in a room with a pair of faceless shadowy demon entities that have you and Cassie, your close friend, pinned to a bed.

Jean should get here soon. She should only take fifteen minutes, or so.

The air of the room is rancid with sweat, stale and fresh alike. Darkened corners without light hide the childish pastel illustrations on the walls, the strewn toys discarded carelessly across the floor.

Just a few feet away you can see her, struggling in a similar predicament – Cassie had managed to lever her legs between herself and the monster – she spares you a glance still full of venom and anger as she flinches away from a horribly tender touch on her cheek. Still fully clothed, still fighting back.

Above you, the other figure looms - was it the same one? The shadows between it and the one on Cassie cannot be differentiated.

Taller than you, pinning both your arms with a vicelike grip. You snarl as it leans down, some unseen tongue lapping at your neck even as you twist, trying to wrench your body out from under the heavy pressure of something atop you. Your corset digs into your stomach, as you shout – fruitlessly – the only sound to your ears that of faint panting and whimpers.

It’s with growing horror as you try to summon your swords and slash at this monstrosity that you realise you cannot unsheathe it from your space while your hands are trapped like this, and you cannot summon your magic without the use of your sword.

The creature regards you with amusement in its hidden visage, as it reaches down to tug at your clothing, extra arms reaching out from its torso to do so.

[ ] Struggle. Fight back. You’re not going to let this thing have its way with you.
[ ] Bide your time. Relax. Lure it into a sense of security and wait until you can free yourself to strike.
[ ] Taunt it. Antagonise it, the other creature – get them to focus on you instead of Cassie.
[ ] Enjoy it. Welcome it. It wants to violate you? It can hardly do that if you’re welcoming it in, right?

>>
[X] Taunt it. Antagonise it, the other creature – get them to focus on you instead of Cassie.

A soundless insult at the demon that has you by the arms, spitting at it in a defiant act. You buck beneath the creature’s hips, thrusting up as you glare daggers at it.

It seems to stare blankly at you, letting your own saliva drip down onto your face – you watch it resolutely as your legs tremble, not in fear but indignation. Low utterances of the filth it is, of how you’re going to enjoy taking it apart piece by piece.

It moves closer as if to intimidate you, filling your vision – and you lunge forward with your head, trying to smash its forehead in. Like smashing your head into a sandbag, leaving you with a slight daze. As your eyes wander for a moment, you see Cassie frozen up next to you, watching as if in horrified intrigue at the struggle you are putting up.

Multiple hands are reaching round you, now, trying to shuck you out of your magical girl outfit – clawing at your jacket, trying to rip it off – pulling and tugging painfully at your skirt, yanking it halfway down your legs in a tangle as you kick again. As you call it a limp-dicked waste of a fetish, a pathetic thought in someone’s head.

You seem to have its full attention, and that thought manages to drive away the slowly growing horror that you were in this thing’s clutches. Its hands are cold and clammy against your skin, the black spats outlined on your body.

[ ] You’ve got it’s attention. Keep it. Struggle, make sure it stays focused on you. No matter what it does to you, you can let it toy with you if you need to.
[ ] You’ve played your part up well – too well. Acting terrified now isn’t out of order, and it might slow it down now it’s focused.
[ ] You’ve got it’s attention – now you can tease it as well as taunting it, work it up into spending all its energy on you. Draw it all in, a seductive taunt would be enough to make it want you more.

Yes.

[x] You’ve got it’s attention. Keep it. Struggle, make sure it stays focused on you. No matter what it does to you, you can let it toy with you if you need to.

As the multiple hands play around your legs, you bite your lip – you can feel fingertips scraping over the spandex sports spats, tracing indents on your soft flesh. Twisting your legs, writhing under the terrible weight of the demon. Again it leans forwards, and as this time you press your forehead to its, you can feel the wet tongue slipping against your lips, teasing you, toying with you. You bite down again, viciously, but they gnash on empty air.

Your hands are balled uselessly around the sword hilt, straining to pull it free – and the more you pull, the tighter the grip grows around each wrist – it’s a numb feeling of shocking pain as you feel bones crunch from your left arm.

Its has stripped you of your corset. Discards it . The room is chilly against your skin, its touch freezing compared to the dull burn at your side. You look left – past your hand Cassie is horrified as she’s hauled up to face you, hands pulled behind her back – staring wordlessly as the faint smile on your face changes to an unheard scream of pain as it twists your hand back. Jean would surely be here soon.

It’s touching you between your legs. Pressing against you as you thrash helplessly. Cry out in vain.

It seems all too pleased at your struggles, at how the two of you are responding. And then, as if recognising the horror in Cassie’s eyes, to rub insult to injury, the demon reaches back to spread Cassie’s legs open slowly, too, right before you.

[ ] –That bastard! Struggle more. You can’t- you just can’t let it get its hands on her.

[ ] No, stop! You’d rather surrender your body up if it means it won’t get Cassie. Stop struggling.

[ ] Ok, that’s fucking enough. No-one touches her but you. Not even if you’ve got to slice open your own hands.

[x] Ok, that’s fucking enough. No-one touches her but you. Not even if you’ve got to slice open your own hands.

Another wordless snarl comes to your lips. This one not taunting, but blind rage from the thought of you failing to protect Cassie. And you go limp.

It almost doesn’t notice, as it starts to undress her, only noticing when you wince in pain again. A slap across the face makes you wince, but you simply smile madly up at the creature – at this demon’s confusion. At it’s surprise as it starts to float.

You hadn’t thought of it before, as tightly clenched your fist had been about the sword hilt. But now you had let go – only to drag the sword out part of the way with your fingertips, slowly levering it out of its scabbard. Sliding it along the bed with slight opening and closing of your fore and middle fingers, wincing as once or twice the sharp edge slices your hand. And- as you’d managed to drag a handful out, you could feel the power – your magic power – surge into you with a warped edge.

[You have gained a shadow token.]

You’d used it to pull the sword out the rest of the way – grabbing it by the blade and feeling the blood drip down around your wrist as you force it up – force it off you, off Cassie, off everything. The hands scratch and rip at your flesh, scrabbling wildly to maintain a grip on you – it’s enough to make your tenuous grasp on magic falter. You can see it in the air clearly now, two bodies joined together, with masses of hands stretching out from inside of it. Barely even shaped of a human. They reach out, grasping for handholds to drag itself to the wall.

[ ] Keep – keep it contained. Its had its fun, and as soon as Jean gets here she can finish it off. Denying it what it wants is the best treatment of it.
[ ] It wanted to hurt you. You hurt yourself to get free. Make it hurt. Destroy it yourself. Kill it entirely. [Use a shadow token]

[3,3,3,12=21 : one degree of failure!]

Your vision wavers, as does your grip – belatedly, you take the blood-stained sword by the hilt as you feel the chill around your half naked body – you still cannot hear what Cassie’s trying to shout at you as you push her back with your damaged arm, as you force the creature to the ground heavily. It’s hard to focus just on it, as it scrabbles towards your, blank-faced and with animosity pouring off of it, clambering forwards through RC vehicles and discarded dolls. It lashes out with surprising speed – out of reach, but- reflexively, you jerk back, and a wooden block whistles past your head.

It’s enough of a distraction to let the pressure up on the spiderlike, twin-bodied form as it leaps towards you, dragging the shadowy space between it to try to envelop you again.

[ ] Two can play at that game – bombard it with anything that’s near. Anything and everything. [Magic]

[12,4,3,4: 23: 1 degree of failure!]

You draw the blade back overhead – and throw it, right at that baleful sightless gaze. Draw again, releasing a second blade at the creature. They seem to penetrate, inky black blood raining across your bare skin as you channel through the third sword – some sort of rapier – trying to focus your energies through each weapon to rip the thing in two. But it’s too slow, too complex a plan to pull off at any speed, and you don’t measure its reach correctly and a hand reaches out with whiplash speed to catch you about the throat as it falls about you, surrounding you.

It’s hurt – moving slower than it did before, but with no less malevolence and power as it starts to squeeze, starting to wrap round you again, trying to separate the sword from its fingers. Winding its arms around your legs, bending them apart with slow deliberation. Catching both arms once again while you drive the swords through its body, wrenching them as hard as you can up and down with what focus you can summon up. And you notice then, as the air is choked from you, Cassie trying to bludgeon it with something sharp – a fragment of plastic from one of the toys.

The other half reaches out for her with a weak grip and she slashes at it, trying to keep it at bay.

[ ] Get her away. Push her to safety with your magic, as far as you can – out of this nightmare. [Heart]

[ ] She’s given you a chance. Use the distraction. Finish what you started. Finish this monster. [Fury]

[x] Get her away. Push her to safety with your magic, as far as you can – out of this nightmare. [Heart]

You push again. This time with a long, careful thrust of magical power – surrounding Cassie with an upwards field, sending her away. Upwards, beyond the reach of the grasping hands. Action and reaction, forcing them back down as she soars upwards, still reaching down to her erstwhile saviour. Forcing them back towards you.

Without the pressure you had been keeping on it, the demon is free to do as it wishes – and denied its second target, it turns its focus to you. You, who’d at least managed to do that much.

You feel it engulfing you in those clammy hands. Feel it stripping you down bit by bit, tearing that costume that you’d thought looked ridiculous, denuding you of its presence where you would have it stay. At some point you lose the grip on your sword, wheezing through lungs desperate for air.

Your vision goes as its hands close over your eyes, blocking all else from sight.

Hearing muffled as it presses fingertips into your ears, grasping round jaw and cheek and mouth.

Taste of foulness on your tongue. The smell of sourness in the air.

Your sense of touch is all engulfing. It is forced on you, each sensation, each act.

-And then.

-And then.

-And then.

Jean bursts in, breaking through the weakened nightmare. You sense her through the magic discharge more than feel her through any other method. The sudden cool of the air on your skin as it lifts off you and you lie there, looking at the ceiling through eyes stained with pain and tears and degradation

Fifteen minutes can be a long time.

You flinch as Jean slowly touches you, drawing back your hand reflexively. Your throat is sore. You can hear her talking, now – that meant the nightmare was over, right?

“… she’s safe?”
It hurts to look at her, as she nods, worry in her eyes.

“Is.. it dead?” Another nod as she holds up a demon essence. –Two demon essences. You can feel the unsettling presence from here and want to smack it from her hand but recoil from even touching it.

“You really did will. It was hurt badly when I got here.” Jean smiles weakly as she strokes your hair back, looking over your body in concern – “Does it… hurt anywhere on your body? Can you feel anything different?”

Taking stock. There’s pain, injury. Limbs twisted, your wrist in a slow dull agony. Scratches. Your neck hurting. But your body is surprisingly intact.

That’s not what it sought from you, after all.

“I’m ok,” you utter mechanically. Not mentally. You’d kept yourself together, and you were safe now. You’d- you’d saved someone. Saved Cassie. That made it ok. It didn’t matter what happened to your body.

It still hurt to move.

Jean stays with you, as your eyes adjust again. You’re lying in Cassie’s bed – clean, unsullied -, and you didn’t want to think right now.

[ ] Stay where you are. You don’t want to move.

[X] Get up. You need to have a shower and get clean.

You slowly pull yourself up, shivering. Blankly, you look left and right for something to wear – clad in only the boots that it had left on you, was hardly something you wanted to walk around in.

After a moment, you dismiss the tatters of your costume, and your casual clothes pop back into existence around you. Jean looks worried as you rise from the bed, feeling the cloth stick to you uncomfortably. “Shower,” is all you say.

Cassie’s outside. You look at her for a moment as she hesitates, wanting to reach out to touch you, holding back as she looks into your eyes.

“Glad you’re ok.” Another mechanical phrase as you move past her, heading to the bathroom.

Your left hand doesn’t seem to be working too well, as you try to strip down slowly, sitting on the side of the bath and running the shower unit. You look at it curiously, seeing a moderately deep gash running the length of the palm. You could barely feel it over the deep throb of agony in your wrist.

The blood stains the water as you step inside, pooling on the tiles and wicking away the sweat and the dirt.

All it had done was touch you. Fingers, hands. It hadn’t been so bad. You had already been willing to throw yourself at that.. demon, to save Cassie. You made a choice, before, that you would do that. It wasn’t as if you hadn’t done it for nothing. It was something you did that was noble, a sacrifice. Of course sacrificing yourself wouldn’t be painless and nice and easy. Of course something like this might happen, you tell yourself

In the warm water that washes over your body, you couldn’t stop shivering.

[You have gained two burst tokens.]

Thank you for participating in this session of Breaker Quest. I apologise if it's not been to your liking!

I've been recommended to re-list some game mechanics like using shadow tokens, especially for fights, as well as being sure to remember to put the appropriate DCs up for rolls before they occur. I'll try to get a pastebin up for stats and the like for reference, as well as list it when appropriate!

If there are any queries, compliments, criticism or complaints, they are all most welcome!
>>
>>31831263
What are the mechanics for using shadow/burst tokens this time around?
>>
>>31831371
Magical Burst tokens are gained when rolling a 6 on a magical roll. That 6 will count as a 12.

An excess of Burst tokens will cause adverse affects on Michael if too many have built up. Too many will force a permanent Change occur to Michael.

Michael can choose to vent burst tokens before this happens, which will result in temporary magical effects.

Currently, Michael has 3 burst tokens. The

Shadow tokens are gained whenever you follow a spoilered option, or otherwise on a discretionary basis.

Shadow tokens can be used to double your roll for a magic cast, or can also be used to soak up magic bursts – up to six bursts. They can be requested before a roll is made or used when an option is shown to use one comes up as a choice.

Further options for shadow tokens may open up on gaining new powers.
>>

What. The. Fuck.

I catch up one this shit and read through this utterly massive fuckup that got our character utterly violated and all you say is "oh woops, but hooray for suffering".

Well fucking done in killing this for me.
>>
Question because I'm confused and that scene was vague as fuck:

Did it rape us or did it not?
>>
>>31844621
Huh, wasn't expecting this to still be up.

The demon in question was made up of hands, body and an immaterial tongue, but no sexual organs. Whether it's possible to be raped by something without such things is likely to be the discussion of hours of legal arguments and semantics. I will say that Michael definitely felt violated by the end of it.
>>
>>31844991
if you could rate his feelings of violation on a scale from 1 to 10, where would you put them?
>>
>>31845510
I don't think I can quantify feelings of violation on a numerical scale.

Additionally, actually working out what Michael's feelings are on it are going to depend on his interactions with the others afterwards, ranging from "It does not touch me! It is unclean!!" to feeling self-sacrificingly pleased with oneself.

I don't think Michael was particularly happy with it the outcome, in any case.
>>
>>31845632

I'd personally prefer a milder version of the first
