Last time we finally had the funeral for the old man, had some recruiting done, a raid, met some interesting people, read some notes, and finally had some mighty fun events occur even including a crashed Guardian within our base.

What are the robots doing?

What are the crazies doing?

Are both the Madam and The Ravager Niece still here?

What's the wether like outside today?
>>
>>32000175
Seconding these questions.
>>
Rolled 97

>>32000175
Bots are chilling but seem to be concentrated near the lab access.

Crazies are...well insane at the moment they are tripping balls and trying to uh build things?

Crazies have revealed their projects.

Discovered Project Eyeball
Discovered Special Juice
Discovered Madness and YOU

Madam has departed while Ravager niece is going through her deceased uncle's belongings.

Weather is very nice.

bots are loyal to me. Intentions was originally to keep things contained then it broke out. Forced to withdrawal to next chokepoint. Origins are from within the lab where they were built varies.

>>32000354
Project madness and you was the first when they thought it would be awesome to create something MADNESS inducing. Instead it just made them run out of energy so they thought to create special juice. That was when their eyes begun to hurt so they began project eyeball to protect their eyeballs.

Instead they ended up with a floating eyebot that shot laser beams from its eye when they were actually after something like eye drops. How they went from one to the other....no idea.

Scouts sent out to find new targets despite all the 'pleasure' areas located literally fucking everywhere(and actually fucking at that). It was tough to find something that wasn't well doing all of that. They did find a few place's including a clinic and base of some kind crawling with heavily armed mofos besides that we didn't find anything.

I would like to look at the bunker. Seeing as we generally want to be good-ish bandit outcasts whatever that means I do have faith that we can raid this bunker.
>>
>>32000913
"Master Trill, you are our best, but we must know everyones limitations and abilities.

not a good idea, we need more stealth capability first

Alright, raiding the bunker is bad without us knowing whats in there and the hospital sounds like a place we shouldn't raid because everybody probably use it and it's very important for the economy of the sector.

Then again.

>>32001434
What do we know about hospitals, are they free or do you have to pay? Who frequents them? If we were hurt, could we go there for aid?
>>
>>32001480
I think it's because of the key word you used
>>32001390

Scouting and exploring are not one and the same.
>>
Rolled 91

>>32001528
Uh no they are not free...except for some which are positively ghetto bare bones, overcrowded, and understaffed full of either broken or shit staff. This is coming from an AI of all people.

Who frequents them is whoever can afford to...unless your deemed scum of course. Like say most mutants, ghouls, bandits that sorta thing.

No. You would have to find one that is less...issues with your kind.
>>
>>32001537
Do we really want to attack a bunker without exploring it?
How many times has that been any good.
>>
>>32001528
Great question..
>>32001574
Oh is THAT how it is eh? Fuck those stuck up sons of bitches! It's on. We are raiding all the drugs.
>>
>>32001638
Right. And thankfully, this should be within our reach.

>>32001574
We did specifically ask Tril to scout out places we could feasibly attack alone of course.

So now the choice is further intelligence or conduct a raid proper?

>>32001574
"Okay, how about that hospital? If you can't explore in there and expect to be unseen, can you at least scout around and look for shortcuts, escape routes, weaknesses, etc. without being seen?"

>food low
But not too much time spent on that. Also remember to hit the hospitals food supply it likely comes from the farm
>>

So we can either hit the farms again
or
what about those dispenser things we found 1 or 2 threads ago?

Tril and company scouted out the clinic. According to them it has a docking/unloading bay and a place to house vehicles some security measures(this is a rough part of town afterall). Weakness wise will be the sheer volume of people going through once we attack though that will dry up but they will still have to worry about their charges.

Shortcuts...well the air counts and there might be a way to do so underground.

Additional weaknesses would be the fact that they clearly are not meant to be combat heavy and while they do try to use safeguards that can't do it to such a degree as chase off people.

Floating eye meanwhile has floated off somewhere causing us to lose it much to the sadness of the Insane.

Alright, I'm cooking up a plan, in the meantime is the Ravager niece still around?

If she is
"Hey, your uncle was the best damn ravager we new, old bastard could shoot and loot at the same time (ravage).
Now, you're a ravager that ain't no easy title to earn. We wish he were here to help us, but the madam is gone, so for now you're the next best thing.

We're about to go on a sting, would you be able to help us loot AND raid at the same time like the old man could?"
>>
Rolled 66

>>32003970
"That is because he was the only ravager you knew. Heh as for that last part...isn't that what raiders are for? The art of the ravage isn't something nearly so lowly or simple. Its not meant for shit that even scum raiders can accomplish. No. We are in an entirely different world. We take what cannot be taken, we do not merely raid no because that would mean that we are limited in what we can take. I am a ravager NOT a shitty raider. Come back to me when you want to steal a heart, loot a hive, or acquire technique itself."

She mad by the way. Heh to call a ravager a mere raider I am considered rampant and even I know better. We have an understanding of each other you know? She is like her uncle we share that same sorta understanding.

>>>31968611
Ravage is an ultra strong version of looting. It enables to acquire stuff that normal looting wouldn't work for. Such as that heavy as statue or that building over there?

You just looted it.

It even has conversion abilities and other qualities depending on the hero.

Voss for example had one particularly awesome version.

You are unaware of her own blend of ravage but its basis is you to loot the unlootable.
>>
>>32003814
Dam it we lost people. Ok so we can't make our one food and water. But can a loot be made into something that makes food or water?

Nice that we got ammo. But could they have asked before we lost 100. But it's a clinic so we got some edge still.
>>
>>32004454

I think we still have a couple of supply units. Could burn one of those to temporarily fix the food/water issues.

Or we could take over the farm towers already.
>>
Alright, here's the jist of it.

We're going to need to make a distraction which causes them to think we are going after their patients and wards (a tempting slave target yes, but not what we are truly after).

The real objective of this mission is the food and drugs and medical equipment, and tangent to these, the vehicle bay.

Sam Leader Sammy, Gal'Kal, and Gaus crew Chief will take up an elevated and hidden position outside the hospital giving them ample targets through the windows and allow Sam to watch out for air reinforcements. They will provide sniper support as we clear out the building from the outside.

One group, the larger, will mount a frontal assault and go directly for the patient wards. Ideally this would be led by our most resiliant forces such as the Mutants, and backed by machine gunners and gatling forces (and heroes such as Heavy Divisions Chief Mulka). Their purpose is to initially attack and make it seem like they are going for the patients, *while moving through their supplies, but their real objective ties into the second group.

>con't
>>
>>32004505
If we have a supply I'm down for that. I believe it up all our stats by one. All most forgot "Consuming a loot can boost any stat even pop". I love taking notes,

I know right.
>>
>>32004548
Another group will attack through the airvents and head their way into the vehicle bay. This group will be lead by Trill and his scouts, and will lead our lone badasses who are good at remembering direction, however at the front of their Saw Thrower Officer Sawyer with Impaler Master behind him. Emphasis on saw thrower taking at the front in the air ducts, who would want him to be behind you with those saws?

Their mission is locate and attack the vehicle bay and take whatever vehicles there are there be it ambulances or whatever. Saw Thrower Officer Sawyer will take point and then drop down and slash every enemy they see while the forces behind him such as Impaler Master provide ranged support.

>>32004389
I WOULD have liked to ask the Ravager Niece for this part of the mission to loot and drive the getaway vehicles because it's the most vital, but I bet that's too easy and mundane for the likes of her.

Once the vehicles are taken, our forces stop attacking the patients and proceed pick up and to loot all the drugs food medical equipment etc. and then back up real quick into the vehicle bay and make good our escape. The vechs would make a fine addition, and in the least let us carry far more out that we would have on foot.

While our main forces retreat/fight their way to the vehcile bay, which if all goes well 2nd group has taken, behind them they are to enact a scorched earth policy so they don't just get shot in the back while carrying the loot.

If they have a psych-ward, have our Crazies unleash their crazies and turn them on their former doctors and make a mess of things to cover our escape and meddle with THEM.

Get the goods to the vehicles (both captured hospital and our own), get on them, and bail the fuck out with what we need.

Note: If you see anything like an enemy hero, call another hero such as Netter and Harpooner. If not, they should be set to capturing other high value targets such as experienced doctors, nurses, etc.
>>
>>32004505
What exactly does "take over the towers" mean to you?
We already beat them up every 5 turns or so, do you think if we beat them down extra hard this time they will just "submit" to our whims? Do we put exploding dog collars on them?
Come up with a plan to control them and then I will consider it.
>>
>>32004593
>>32004548

>>
>>32004548

Nice nice. Maybe let Hot Buns and the ghouls have fun with the dead or dieing people. The remaining fill any holes where Officer Ice and/or Trill will need them.
>>
>>32004716
Hrmm, I was hoping for that we could have Impaler shiskebab some of em while Hot Buns cooks em. We take em on the vehcs too for a meal.

Actually, thats even better I say we have Impaler from the 2nd group to the first JUST for that.

"You boys ready for some fast food? Because we're gonna get pickup, just gotta cook it a bit."

Anyway, someone please look into this plan for it's achilles heel because I'm sure fucked when it comes to finding that.
>>
>>32004787
Do we have anybody on overwatch, or anybody guarding the homestead?
>>
>>32004618

>Militarily conquer tower

She had her fun last time, this time it's overwatch duty, but next time we'll let her have fun some more.

Gal'Kal the mutant is more of a close in kind of fellow.

We don't know where their airvents are (I don't think so anyway).

We don't really have enough information to tell whether this plan will go alright or horribly wrong. If I had to identify a "point of first failure" so to speak, then it would be that everything hinges on taking the Vech Bay...which is probably heavily defended and has a smaller group heading towards it.
>>
>>32004548
>>32004593
>>32004973

You also don't make use of the ghouls. They'd do well in the airvent group (if they're not mostly ferals...I don't know about our composition there) due to their CQC buffs.
>>
>>32004896

The ghouls got left out last time and were VERY disappointed.

The bots don't experience emotions though, so they should be fine.

> If I had to identify a "point of first failure" so to speak, then it would be that everything hinges on taking the Vech Bay...which is probably heavily defended and has a smaller group heading towards it.
Yeah, that is the most dangerous part. that's why I wanted to go through the airvents (if possible) and try to pull as many people away from the vehicle bay by making them desperate to hold their charges.

They are probably sensible people and would expect an underground, but they wouldn't expect chainsaws falling from the ceiling and our best popping in behind them.

New plan for Group 2

Once group 1 is decently within the hospital compound, our air forces are going to attack the vehicle bay from the outside.

Rocket Troops will blast a hole in the vech bay wall and Missile Troops and Explosives will take down any vehicle inside that tries to stand in our way.

Lightning and Ice forces (bar Officer Ice who will overwatch) will act as point defenses and take out any AA or AT missiles or shells that try to take out our vehicles.

Our vehicles are going to do anything good inside the building, so devote it to this part bring in the birds the choppers the apcs etc. Get them ready to evac the forces within the hospital as soon as can be done.

Lone Badasses and Urban Scouts new duty is to lead the group 1 from to the vech bay and make sure they don't get lost or hindered.

>>
>>32005491
Yes, the same group of heavies who will be mounting the front assault and preferably under cover of the snipers who will be firing throught he windows.

Group 1 will also include the Ghouls, who will be enjoying the free shiskebabs that Impaler and Hott Buns will be providing.
>>
So to resum my plan

Basic1
We're going to need to make a distraction which causes them to think we are going after their patients and wards (a tempting slave target yes, but not what we are truly after).

The real objective of this mission is the food and drugs and medical equipment, and tangent to these, the vehicle bay.

Sam Leader Sammy, Gal'Kal, and Gaus crew Chief will take up an elevated and hidden position outside the hospital giving them ample targets through the windows and allow Sam to watch out for air reinforcements. They will provide sniper support as we clear out the building from the outside. Officer Ice will be stationed with them for overwatch.

The ghouls will be with them too, and Impaler and Hotbuns will be cooking up the freshies meat we can get (living and walking meat) for a take out BBQ

>con't
>>
>>32005598
Aw you got to it before me.
>>
>>32005598
Lone baddases and urban scouts will be attached to them to ensure they don't get lost.

That is Group 1.

Once group 1 is decently within the hospital compound, our air forces are going to attack the vehicle bay from the outside. This will be Group 2.

Once the vehicle bay is opened up and/or taken our other forces (group 1) stop attacking the patients and proceed pick up and to loot all the drugs food medical equipment *that they should have been walking to on the way to the patient ward (the false target) etc. and then back up real quick into the vehicle bay and make good our escape.

If they have a psych-ward, have our Crazies unleash their crazies and turn them on their former doctors and make a mess of things to cover our escape and meddle with THEM (make sure to do this only after our forces have gotten away and not get bogged down by crazies.)

Our vehicles are going to do anything good inside the building, so devote it to this part bring in the birds the choppers the apcs etc.
Get the goods to the vehicles (both captured hospital and our own), get on them, and bail the fuck out with what we need.

If you see anything like an enemy hero, call another hero such as Netter and Harpooner. If not, they should be set to capturing other high value targets such as experienced doctors, nurses, etc.

Forces have been stashed and put into overwatch.

Primary force meant for distraction purposes dispatched. They ended up fighting surprisingly hard as security systems popped up(and were promptly crushed) and their security forces did their best to hold us off...when they realized we were heading towards their patients abruptly they started to fight that much harder.

That was when our second force was dispatched hitting the vehicle bay...which was surprisingly empty. Like super empty appears to be meant for only a quick pitstop(ambulances) or unloading of cargo thus rarely vehicles were there. So group 1 shifted focus while group two suddenly found it self under assault from a new force.

That was when we found ourselves getting hit with company as some fast reacting flyer forces came up from the air. Luckily our forces on overwatch popped up and ambushed the rescuers.

Crazies meanwhile decided to have some fun running off hooting and howling into the clinic. Goal unknown but we suspect that they are after their psych ward.

Alert
Second group is under attack from unknown force. The force is sandwitched between our two groups and seem focused on elimenating the second while the other is busy.

Group 1 now it's time to start the next phase. Start grabbing and looting everything in sight, food, water, medicine, the straggler hopsital crew, and make their way to the vehicle bay.

Hot buns and flamers burn out the path behind us, and acid guys start spilling behind us as well make sure we can't be followed.

Group two tries to counterattack but its hard going as our forces are not in all that great terrain(vehicle bay) while the enemy is deeper in the clinic and has a height advantage as they deployed from the rooftops.

Group 1 continues to loot and has begun to work towards the vehicle bay. They work with alarming speed fitting even raiders would be proud. When they hit the enemy they hit them hard catastrophically so as they ended up quickly collapsing between the our two forces. They are attempting to withdraw upward towards the roofs.

Alright, Overwatch is vulnerable at this point.

Rockets will defend the vehicle bay from vehicles on the ground.

I would like our aircraft to load up with missiles, explosive, ice, and lightning forces and attack the mechanized forces from the sky. Lightning will focus on point defense against AA missiles, ice will try and clog up their guns, and missiles and explosives will bomb the mech forces.

An air group of the above should be dispatched to counter the portion of the mechanized forces, pick them up, and then snipers start picking off the rooftop forces while SAMMY is redeployed to watch out for a return of enemy craft.

Group 1 will continue the push to the vech bay.

Alright, so here is my proposal

Basic 1

Aircraft in the vehicle to load up with missiles, ice, and lightning forces.

Rockets in the vehicle bay unleash a barage to make an opening for the aircraft to fly out and not get blown to bits. and then continue to defend from the ground.

Lightning will focus on point defense against AA missiles, ice will try and clog up their guns, and missiles and explosives will bomb the mech forces.

A group of them will be dispatched to counter the portion of the mechanized forces attacking overwatch, pick them up, and then snipers start picking off the rooftop forces from our aircraft while SAMMY is redeployed to watch out for a return of enemy craft.

Group 1 continues to push their way through to the Vech Bay and if possible Flamers and Explosives prepare to blow up the whole hospital so we don't act like lying pussies.
>>
>>32008406
>Rockets in the vehicle bay unleash a barage to make an opening

Aircraft loaded up.

Barrage has been engaged though considering our lack of numbers or things that can shoot lots of rockets its effect had some to be desired as we lost one aircraft on the getaway while at least one of the others is heavily damaged.

Casualties for escape aircraft
1 aircraft
20 troops

Group of aircraft sent to overwatch. they picked up the survivors but they suffered serious casualties. During their escape the enemy also continued to fire at them before heading off to reinforce their primary force.

25 losses
SAMMY critical
ICE wounded.

Precious few were unwounded.

Group one is at the vehicle bay already. As for blowing up the hospital they claim its not possible.

Alert
Enemy aircraft detected and are inbound.

Alert
Massed enemy infantry are approaching from inside the building towards our forces.

Alert
Aircraft harassment has left some to be desired causing us to lose a chopper along with the troops onboard.

Okay, we are about to be caught in our own hammer and anvil moment and we need to do everything in our to not have that happen.

Sammy is incapacitated and she was our best AA unit, we're in a pickle here.

The way I see it, we can continue to hold our ground inside the hopstial and avoid being bombed by their airforces and possibly do something against the aircraft and vehicles using the hospital as cover, but risk being swamped by further enemy reinforcements and

or

we can make a final push out and push as hard as we fucking can with everything we still have and try to consolidate our losses as we're bombed by enemy aircraft on the way home.

One option I am considering is that we consolidate everybody, fight our way through the hospital, and find the crazies.

Then we'd have a choice of:

fighting our way back through the vehicles and hope we have the strength to punch through tanks and aircraft and rooftop forces taking shots at us.

OR

We fight our way through the tunnels previously suggested as an option, leave our vehicles behind, but avoid a large portion of their forces.

Problem is. . .we're going to lose our vechs. We might be able to tell the Ramo Raiders this and see if they can mount a second raid to take them back and we give them a share, or hell, maybe even all of them I'd just hate to see the city forces take them and scrap them or use them.

Hopefully whatever we do the crazies have a real good plan in our favor.
>>
Alright, thinking of a plan and weighing options...
>>
Dam it crazies this is way you charge your phone at night. So we can call you during the day. What are you people up to ...

Alright, this entire missions goal was food, water, and drugs. We have those and we have the vehicles.

Our situation at home is starving. Even if we return with everyone, that will not solve that issue.

To lose what we've gained would make this whole operation a failure, so we should pull out while we have what we came for. We need to leave with the loot and our vehicles while we still can.

This was supposed to be a raid, not a battle, and we need to keep it like that.

Basic 1
Get everybody and everything on board our vehicles and ready for the last great push out of here. Deploy smoke in our trail so as to keep the enemy blinded. Try not to fire at their vehicles as much as you can fire at any enemy projectiles that could cause further harm towards us.

We even managed to get out before the infantry came up on us so we didn't have to worry about anyone shooting our backside.

Pop 250
Military 350

Well that raid was kind of disastrous. Why didn't we just go for the farms again?
>>
>>32010331
O dam we skipped a lot of turns.

So we got nothing from the fight then? I hoped for food or something.
>>32010448
I believe it was to show off.
>>
Rolled 24

>>32010473

Hah, so much for that. Good luck, Crazies.

So how do we get back on our feet again, since we're still starving?
>>
Rolled 12

>>32010448
If it makes you feel better you gave them a bloody nose.

>>32010473
Yeah hadn't seen that mistake...
>>
>>32010555
loot for food/water and pop maybe. Rest for the day and heal/train. Then we scout the towers. Then do what we do and raid the shit out of them with the help of the niece.
>>
Rolled 31

>>32010652

Eh, bloody nose it may be but they clipped a handy 1/3 of our total population.

Its alright though, not being involved in planning means i don't feel massive guilt when it goes sour.

...Really though, should've just done the farms.
>>
Rolled 65

>>32010666

We really, really should just conquer them. Looting for food/water (unless we pull something out our asses like with the autovendors...which we cant because no Crazies) isn't very productive because we're in a megacity.
>>
>>32010787
Only reason I say raid is the lost of numbers and the 100 on a job at the moment. When they get back we take every thing.

... Hm. Maybe use the loot to do a bake sale and get more members. Not sure of the creative limit on loot.
>>
Rolled 61

>>32010836

Fair point.

I would say we should try recruiting from our slaves, but 30 of them starved the other turn and we didnt treat them nicely at the best of times, sooo.....
>>
>>32010652
So what did we gain from that bloody nose?
>>
>>32010331
Going with we gain little to nothing. Break a loot for snack cakes and get food in us.

Lets check in with the tower people we bribed and scout the area again for anything new. Is my vote.
>>
Rolled 32

>>32011159

We might want to give our informants a loot and break down a supply.
>>
>>32011274

That is, I think only units of supply can be broken down to boost a stat like food/water...though I think that maybe loot can be converted into supplies? I don't know anymore.

Also, our informants have done great work for us for quite a while now without getting rewarded. We probably want to give them something as a reward if the logistics of it are possible. If we plan on conquering them though then it's a non-issue because we'll just integrate the traitors.
>>
>>32011274
That could work. Boost everything by one and give them a random bonus.
>>32010331
"How are things on your end?" (tower people)

>>32011331
>Loots can be converted to resources, supplies, or consumed/traded and even other uses(be creative).

>Consuming a loot can boost any stat even pop(aka people become more fertile and your showing off makes recruitment easier).

>Supplies when broken down will raise all your stats by one.
>>
>>32011359

Well, looks like it's just time for sleep since Genie seems to have nodded off.
>>
>>32011834
Yup. Maybe we can pick it up tomorrow.

Take it easy every one.
>>
>>32010448
>>32010473
Actually the real purpose of this mission wasn't to show off, it was to see if we are capable of raiding another target by ourselves without any assistance using the methods and tactics we've learned

http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/31961297/#p31977704
>"We need to practice ourselves, without allies, and our first solo mission was. .okay, but could have been better. We've learned new things and are ready to try out new tactics."

And apparently. . .we can't.

>>32011159
>>32011274
>>32010652
No but really, what DID we spent a considerable amount of time that much of our forces had looting through the whole place with the objective that they were to "Start grabbing and looting everything in sight, food, water, medicine, the straggler hopsital crew, and make their way to the vehicle bay."

And holy hell am I glad this was just the hosptial, the bunkers would've aboslutely KILLED us if they were a harder target.

I really hope out of all this we did not just get 100 dead men and truckloads of empty space.
>>
>>32011843

Yeah.

On another note, I'm all for being circumspect and cautious and discussing our actions...but we took like 2 or 3 turns in a 200 post thread. Not that I know how to fix that.
>>
>>32011886

Oh yeah, the bunkers would've murdered our civ flat-out.

To be fair, we're probably playing this a bit wrong. We should try to secure our food/water situation...and then delve into the secrets of our base to try to 'tech up', hoping of course that we're strong enough to not get insta-gibbed by whatever's down there.
>>
>>32011888
>I'm all for being circumspect and cautious and discussing our actions.
>but we took like 2 or 3 turns in a 200 post thread.

And apparently, today, despite all the thought we put into this we aren't thinking hard/long enough. . .

I'm wondering if we shouldn't just devolve to an action a day/thread

>>32011906
Yeah, well, at least now we know what we're dealing with if we try to raid anyone who isn't the farmers or by ourselves.

We should just stick to co-op raids for a long time we tasked Urban Scout trill to specifically pick out targets we have an easier chance of soloing and if this was his 2 best options we are really fucked and are in no position to solo anything for a long, long time. Not after this.
>>
>>32011886
That would suck if this is just a waste of time.

>>32011888
Maybe lessen what we fill out in plans. Try putting a little more trust in the ncps to do what works well. (I think we would need a general again for this.). But I think we will pick up speed as we do this more. We did this time around and I think it payed off. Just need to keep at it a little more.
>>
I'm looking at the stats and the only thing I'm seeing changed is that loss of half our population.

Did we loot ANYTHING at all as we cleaned out the hospital grounds? Not even a single scrap of "food, water, medicine" which was their main objective?

NOT A SINGLE THING?
>>
Rolled 24

Problem is you have too many specialists. Most of your forces are strictly divided up when you teamed up with another group they provided more general grunts as well as more specialty units.
>>
>>32012003
How is having too many specialists a problem?
I think what you mean to say is we don't have enough numbers or grunt muscle to back them up I understand that.

But even still we did our best to try and make each specialist complement each other and fill in gaps in each others weaknesses.
>>
>>32012003
Also >>32012000

Did we just leave the hospital empty handed!?

When we basically looted from one side of the hospital to the other and the entire point of us pulling out was to make sure we didn't lose the precious food we were after, there is something horribly horribly wrong with us if we didn't find a single thing of interest in that hospital.

We should have at least gotten some food from the enemy casualties that we ordered Hot Buns too cook up.
>>
>>32011906
One of the main objectives of the hospital raid was to help with the food/water situation.

Unless they figured out how to feed patients from thin air something is fishy that we didn't get anything from the hospital.
>>
Well, im going to go to bed and hope genie answers my questions tommorow.

If it took us 300 posts and half our civ dead and all we managed to loot the entire time was some hospital air, we should never have been born.
>>
Rolled 95

>>32012026
you have a bunch of heavies with only a handful of other specials. No joke your basic units are virtually nil.

>>32012051
You acquired medicine and loot.

>>32012099
You only acquired a little bit.
>>
>>32012243
>You acquired medicine and loot.
Well, that's something at least. I didn't see it in the update stats though.

A little bit isn't enough to bump us up from "very low" even at half population?
>>
>>32012243
The medicine and loot we gained are NOT in the latest stats by the way, presuming we did manage to loot them.
>>
Rolled 1

>>32012274
This has been a very bad week for me anon should clear up sometime after next week though.
>>
>>32012288
If you say so Genie, we can only hope the best for you.

If possible I'd like to continue the game tommorow but we are less than 100 posts to the bump limit and after todays monumental failure I really do feel like we need at least 200 posts of thorough analysis with our actions.

We tried really hard to fight smart today, we did.
>>
Rolled 75

>>32012334
Yes, I was rather impressed with you guys.
>>
>>32012441
That brings a degree of comfort to this anon more than you'll ever know Genie. It does.
>>
Rolled 45

So...the reason this ended up so bad was because we didn't have enough numbers?
Not because of awful planning (mostly)?
>>
>>32014526
in defense it wasn't such a terrible plan like the one that ends civs.

we just didn't factor in the unknowns, we didn't expect enemy reinforcements to come so fast and in such force (we had no idea they would receive mechanized reinforcements at all) neither did we expect to be bogged down so and unable to leave before those arrived.

It was a raid that turned into a battle, and not in our favor. I think we grew overconfident after what a curbstomp the last battle with the Ramo raiders was (seriously no vehicles, no heroes, no reinforcements) and this was such a turnabout in enemy strength stronger than we've ever faced before.

It sucks too because we asked Trill to scout out targets that would be easy for us to raid solo, but instead we ended up tackling a target harder than we've faced before and without allies.

We suffered from a "lack of basic units" and muscle power. Our specials and heavies are excellent, but an army they do not make. If we wanted to fight that like we did, we should have had more men.
>>
I also noticed that you can judge how good or bad a battle is going by the joviality of Genie.

In the previous battle, he opened up with humorous banter from the medics, our forces enjoyed themselves, the flamers had their hot contest, everyone had a good time, and it all ended in a single post.

I hoped we could have seen the same with the whole Impaler+Hotbuns shiskebab feast for our ghouls, but that was never mentioned during the fight. Instead we got 3 alerts, and had to keep fighting, and that should have tipped us off.

When Genie gets serious, we know the battle is serious.
>>
badump
>>
... Hm. Maybe we can find a caravan to raid. Some thing that will be quick and with low reinforcement. Unless every one at home needs a rest. If that is the case, I say rest and heal up. Contact Madam Azullasha ask if she would be willing to aid us (With info, training, etc.) for some trade goods like loots. Same with the niece. (Hopefully we can ask her the right way.)

But out of all of this we need ways to keep food and water up.
>>
>>32016845
Think we can call in the Ramo Raiders for anotehr co-op again? We're at half strength, and I hope we've been building up good relations between us.
>>
>>32016932
We can try it. Nothing wrong with asking about more jobs. Main thing is I don't want to waste the niece's time and have her do nothing. She could end up leaving soon if we do.
>>
Rolled 36

>>32014820

So, in an attempt to prompt discussion...

What are we going to do now?
>>
>>32023229
If we can get that job with our "co workers". I think that will be our main goal. Other wise i say heal up and ready the tower raid. Also see what we can do to get the niece to help out.
>>
>>32023305
We really do need some spare food, and yeah that co-op with the Ramo's is of the utmost import. Next is readying for a tower raid, we might need to ask for another co-op because we're at such half strength and they have only grown stronger.
>>
>>32023305
>>32023362

Have we considered asking them to assist us with raiding/conquering the towers?
>>
>>32023393
I haven't, Mainly because I feel like tower is our baby. But it would be smart to see if they would help.
>>
>>32023393
We could, if they deem it more valuable than their raid.

>>32023463
We're not gonna be able to do solo missions for a long time, today we attacked with our prime and with the best planning we could but it wasn't enough.

We're gonna have to play it safe until we can rebuild our strength
>>
>>32023486

I meant after their raid.

"Hey, we scratched you guys' back now help us scratch ours. We're thinking of getting rid of our food problems for good."
>>
>>32023546
We are the ones asking them for a job. How about "Hey after this you know that tower we co-op on? Want to join us in taking it all?" or something
>>
>>32023584

Well yeah, either way we all agree that we'll need to enlist their assistance.

And we can carry the Ravager Niece along so she can help us legitimately steal the hydroponics and such.
>>
>>32023879
Or the whole building. But first we would need to know what is underground.
>>
>>32023924

Let's not even try to start stealing the whole building. The equipment will be good enough (and possibly more than we can handle) by itself.
>>
>>32024040
I believe the niece said she knew how to and could. But is lacking some info. But yeah we just need the food and water stuff.
>>
>>32024102

She said she knew how, but as for being able to ACTUALLY STEAL A BUILDING well there are some technical difficulties with that.

Also why would we want the whole building when we could just get the useful bits?
>>
>>32024148
So we can steal the stuff people use to make a new one.
>>
>>32024148
Why wouldn't we want more building materials?
>>
>>32024282
>>32024200

Well okay, good luck. You know we only have 250 people in our faction though, right?
>>
>>32024390
We got friends on the other side, I mean inside. Plus any one else hungry. We can get a good horde behind us. But I agree with the main goal and action should be "Smash and grab". No messing around we lost to many all ready. But when we get our men back I want to see if we can get it all.
>>
>>32024390
Oh hell no I am not gonna back a raid like that right now I thought this was hypothetical.

Shit we were at our strongest and we couldn't raid a hospital.
