?You spent a day in the Three Rivers, visiting Tia and her new tribe, and then also paying a visit to Zaan and Talon, who has almost recovered from the mental scars of his struggle against Tarien Dorian.
Together, you discussed a bit and decided that, in due time, the Three Rivers should be unified and joined with Tianna itself, with Tia as their chieftaness and Zaan and Talon to support her in doing so.
Incidentally, you also discovered a strange vein of a metal alloy used in first age constructions in the soil of northern Tianna. You're not sure if this has any kind of deeper significance or higher meaning, but the words of Talon still echo in your mind.

"I can't put my fingers on it. But there's something weird about Tianna. Something wrong."

Mikahil and Five Tails accompanied you at first, but then went separate ways. You're not sure where they are now, or what they're doing in the Three Rivers, but you're pretty certain that they can handle themselves.

Still, this was a pleasant and useful break from the tension in Tianna, what with the Immaculates hanging around and so on.

What should be your next move now?

>Return to Tianna, focusing on the Immaculate problem.
>Return to Tianna, and continue to train your forces like normal.
>Return to Tianna just to accompany your cult to Pearl.
>Return to Pearl directly.
>Stay in the Three Rivers for a bit more.

>Who are we?
Maka, an exiled noble recently Exalted as a Zenith-caste Solar. She's in the western city of Tianna as a guest of queen Amata, an old friend. Abyssals are targeting the city for conquest, Lintha pirates have infiltrated it with spies and agents, and the Realm is probably planning to get rid of you.
But things are also looking up. You have gathered a lot of allies, have a powerful Manse under construction, and are unifying Tianna in a great nation under your overwhelming charisma.

>Solar? Zenith? I don't know Exalted...
This quest is as newbie-friendly as possible, and I want it to work as a newbie's intro to Exalted. If you have ANY question, ask in thread. For the setting, google "1d4chan exalted".

>Archive?
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=zenith

>System?
Dicepool-like system. When performing an action, everyone rolls 1d10 when posting. the first X rolls are considered, where X is equal to attribute + ability. Yes, this means that the more people are posting, the stronger Maka is, up to a limit of her attribute + ability.

>XP?
Attributes cost [current score x5] xp. Abilities cost [current score x3] xp, except Zenith costing [(current score x3) -1]. Charms cost 10 xp, except for Zenith-based charms (related to charisma and physical/mental fortitude) which cost 8 xp. At the end of every "session" (thread) you will be presented with a list of possible acquisitions.

From Tianna to Pearl, about three days of travel, since it would be a large group that doesn't travel light. (Moving on your own, a day. A lot less if you hitch a ride with Tia.)

>>32235592
Yes.
they determined that their main base is, of course, at the Immaculate temple in town, though they probably have a number of safehouses and people willing to give them shelter if needed, in large enough number that it's improbable to map them all. They might be a smaller cult (right now), but they're a lot better organized.
They include at least three dragon-blooded, of which two are certainly Immaculates. One of them wants to completely wipe heresy out in Tianna by force, the other urges him to keep calm. The two even came to blows once, but the aggressive one will probably not start anything until both the other DBs oppose him. Their mission seems to be mostly as scouts, to check the situation. They're armed, but not heavily, and don't have troops or supplies.

>>32235622
Talon knows of about other 6 pact Lunars. No idea on the non-pact ones.
Additionally, Zaan has two friends from the western chapter of the Crossroads Society, a sort of informal fellowship of Lunar sorcerers.
All of them are off-island, of course.

As for gods, there's a lot of them, but none are especially powerful as far as they know. Dancing Smoke is the only unusually powerful god on the island that they know of.

Dye? Maybe. It could help.

Counting travel time to and from, that's 4 days, plus we'll probably spend at least one day to talk to Vale and conduct the prayer to help change the manse, plus whatever amount of time we spent in Three Rivers, we'll only lose about a week from our training time with the navy, about what we expected

Well,, they'll have to contact them to be sure.

You bid goodbye to Zaan and Talon, and especially Tia who has an extremely hard time letting go of you, and return to Tianna on your own.

The journey is tranquil and uneventful, and you go back to your busy schedule of training, together with admiral Rajan and your three captains. Meanwhile, their ships are almost completely modernized with the new ideas and sailing technologies developed by Valeriana.

You're torn between keeping the training up and moving your followers to Pearl, so you decide to do just one more week in Tianna before you escort them to the new, developing city.

Samiel is taking care of security. The atmosphere is tense, with soldiers scattered here and there keeping an eye on the fragile peace, and queen Amata desperately trying to keep religious violence from erupting.

"One of the emissaries from the Realm insisted to have an audience with me yesterday." She informs you as soon as you manage to see her. "A... firm but polite fellow. He seemed really concerned about me. Tried to talk me out of my promise of marriage, of course."

"Really." You reply with a dry smile.

She nods. "That you had brainwashed me. And you are a bad influence on my family and the entire kingdom. And that I should at the very least exile you."

"Well, by Immaculate standards, he was being really kind. He didn't ask for my head on a pike, at least."

"There's one of them who wants that. I haven't met with him, but I heard Zareen's reports. They have a network of spies. I'm fairly sure they have a list with name and address of every one who is part of your cult here in Tianna."

"I wonder what they plan to do with that list." You say, ironically. Looks like your decision to move the cult to Pearl soon might be justified.

Right, were totally moving everyone, so they haven't asked to speak with us, makes sense if they think were some brainwashing demon
>>
"Splitting the communities to different corners of the island is a stopgap measure. It will alleviate tensions in the short term, but will make them worse in the long term." Amata muses, as politically insightful as ever. "I hope we can figure out some kind of solution by then."

"...What would be your best-case scenario?" You wonder. "Because it doesn't sound like you care much about either of the two cults, if it weren't for me."

"I want people to be free to worship anything and have any kind of belief in my kingdom, as long as it doesn't harm others." She replies. "But personally? Honestly, I don't favor one cult over any other. They're all either problems to be solved, pieces to make fit together, or tools to be used."

"Politics." You reply.

She nods. "What about you, Maka? Are you holding back because of me? What's your solution?"

You sigh. "...I don't like them. Not one bit."

"I think that's understandable." She consoles you. "They DO kind of want you dead and gone."

"I agree with you, of course. Just outlawing them would be a bad choice, politically. No matter how much I want to do it." You ponder, troubled. "But letting them stay is like keeping a firedust barrel with a lit fuse in your living room."

"A colorful but not entirely wrong metaphor." She nods. "...And I might just have an idea on how to defuse that barrel."

"Oh?" You wonder.

"You're probably not going to like it."

You sigh again. "One of your usual plans, right? And I guess that there's going to be a part of it you'll keep hidden from me as well?"

She doesn't reply, just smiling innocently. "I'll have to... pull some strings as well. And I can't get you involved in that. Also, it will get the local Immaculates off our backs and under control, but it's not going to do anything for the Realm of the Wyld Hunt. It might make them even more pissed at us, actually."

"...That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard."

She nods with a big grin.

"Tell me more."

"There are places in Creation that have a version of the Immaculate Faith without Realm oversight. These splinter cults don't maintain Wyld Hunts, which are primarily a political instrument masqueraded as religious, and therefore superfluous in a version of the cult that is not under indirect political control." She explains. "Lookshy is a good example."

"So you want to..."

"...detach the Tiannan Immaculate Cult from Realm control and oversight. That way, without their influence, we can shape it into a form that works better for our ends. Of course, the Realm will be mad at us, for losing a foothold in the west. But, at that point, their only choice will be outright military intervention."

"A proper Wyld Hunt. Your bet is that they won't do it."

"Oh, they will definitely do it sooner or later. I'm betting on the later. Time is in our favor here."

"You're forgetting one thing." You try and keep up with her machinations. "They have monks here, Immaculates that came directly from the Realm to take control of the local branch of the faith. They're never going to let us do it."

She points a finger at you. "That's where you come in."

"Me?"

"We know that there's one of them loudly asking for your violent elimination. He's the first target. You'll have to find a way to start a fight with him while being in the right. It must be public and geared in such a way that it will make him seem the bad guy, even in the eyes of the Immaculates."

You frown. That will be a lot harder than it sounds, you fear.

"Then, you beat him up, one-on-one, and don't kill him."

"No?"

"Killing him would be an excuse for the Realm to rally and intervene. And he knows that. If he's fanatical enough, he might try and get killed against you on purpose, or use any sort of dirty trick to make you look like a violent murderer."

That sounds even harder.

"What about the other Immaculates? There's at least two of them."

"You seduce them."

"...I'm sorry?"

"You seduce them." She replies, deadpan. "Either winning them over to our plan, getting them to pull out of Tianna, force them in a compromising position - being found in bed with a Solar would be really bad for their public image, of course it doesn't have to work out like that, it's just one idea - or, well, you'll have to improvise a solution."

"You're making me sound like some expert seductress." You grumble.

"...Well, aren't you?" She asks, matter-of-factly.

"...As a mortal, I was a queen. I... I never had to work hard, or put any sort of effort, into having men and women at my feet."

"Oh, please." She sighs. "You have more than enough in both experience and natural talent to make this work. You're not giving yourself nearly enough credit."

You spend the next minute in silence, thinking about this outrageous plan.

We need to move fast. We still have to defeat the Lintha and I fear that if we wait to long we are going to wake up to find that all of our ships have been wrecked in port overnight.

However on the other hand the Immaculates can incite an uprising in Tianna while we are out a sea figthing the Lintha

I have a plan. Recently the Immaculates have been bullying our guys. Find somebody who was beat up by them and get Pyre Spark to confront the aggressive guy in public while carrying the wounded guy (or even better, girl) next to her on her shoulder. Tell Pyre to get him to apologize. He probably won't do it and if he gets violent with her, we can step in and beat him up in public.

We should do it right away.
>>
Rolled 1

>>32236709
I actually think it'll be easier on us if we do it while our cult is here, remember we don't just have to provoke him we need the crowd to sympathize with us, if we move our cult before that we'll lose a lot of people that have our back
>>
>>32236798
No, we need even the other Immaculates to see their comrade in the wrong. Not just the crowd on our side.

See >>32236793

The difficult part will be disguising ourselves and blending unnoticed into the crowd because otherwise he might not get violent in plain sight. This plan hinges on the DB being unhinged. We should try it at least to see how aggressive he is. I wish we had a charm that could goad him into fighting.
>>
Rolled 2

>>32236839
Zareen could help us out here, either help subltey rile him up or play a victim we could help, if he attacks another Dragonblood the other monks might not be happy with him

I played a game once where you are the head of a secret organization plotting over to take over the word. If the enemy leader proves too unmanipulative, too uncorruptible, too resistant to threats and too much of a pain in the ass, then you assassinate him.

I am not suggesting that here. It is unlikely that the DB will be a paragon of Immaculate faith.

Those are good points to consider. If I remember correctly, the west is something of a backwater for the immaculate faith. We better do some research on our mark before we do anything, possibly look into whether or not the realm has sent their best and brightest.

(Another one of "those votes")

"...It's still a stupid plan, but it can work." You finally admit. "I'm undecided if I should do it right now, or once I moved my cult over to Pearl."

"Well, moving the cult will definitely cause some kind of reaction from the Immaculates. I have no idea what. You might want to keep that in mind."

"...I also have no idea how to provoke this guy to a fight without coming off as the bad guy myself."

Amata thinks about it for a second. "From what Zareen told me? He's likely to jump at your throat as soon as he sees you, especially if he thinks he has an advantage of some kind. Taking you by surprise or anything like that. Only if you manage to find him while the other two aren't around, though. They seem to be there mostly to restrain him."

"Can you do anything to keep them busy?"

"I can invite one to have another audience with me. The second will probably hold the fort. Zareen can try and lure the hothead outside, at that point."

That's a sound plan.

"I'm going to tell you something you're REALLY not going to like now. Take it as a suggestion."

You sigh.

"Use Pyre Spark as a bait to lure him out."

"I'm sorry?"

She doesn't reply, but just looks at you, dead serious.

You briefly consider gently putting her down, but decide against it. It would be hard to peel her off you right now. Instead, you just explain her the situation, including your plans.

You're not very surprised to hear that she wholeheartedly approves of e plan and want to take part in it. But she does say something surprising:
"...Queen Amata is correct, you must not kill him, no matter what."

"Pyre, that man probably wants to kill you." You remind her.

She shakes her head, dangerously close, hanging from your neck with both arms. Damn, those eyes are hypnotic. "But... Even if he hurts me, if we want to keep the island from sinking into a civil war... He has to return to the Realm alive."

"Let,s not worry about this. Nothing will happen to you. But... It's better if I train you a bit. Just to stay safe."

"Oh! Ooh! Will you teach me martial arts? How to kick a waterfall upside down? Lightspeed blows? Awakening my Seventh Sense? The Phoenix Nightmare Fist?"

"...for now, let's start with some stretching, right? Let's not get too ahead of ourselves."

Well it's really just about impossible proportions I thought, Like Jessica Rabbit kind of. No human could look like her, but you could still draw it.
Really I just imagine her waist shrunk, her hips widened, and her breasts and ass got biggger, along with a few other cosmetic changes (facial structure, hair length, etc.)
Also finding a picture of a dark skinned women with her breasts covered by flowers is harder than it should be

To say that Pyre Spark takes "seriously" her training would be a huge understatement.

Of course, a lot of the things she does are silly or superfluous, born from some kind of weird notions that you have to wonder where she managed to pick up. Like drinking eggs or meditating under waterfalls.

Fortunately there aren't many waterfalls in Tianna, but that didn't stop her from looking for one.

On the other hand, even after explaining her that all you can do is four hours every day, and thanks to your magic even just those four hours are as effective as a full month of training or more, she still insists to continue training past that time, because if you train eight hours in one day, then it'll count as one month and four hours, and it's four hours more than just "one month".

Nevermind at you made up that "one month" figure up on the spot to explain your power to her better.

You lose count of the number of times she faints or loses consciousness, and you have to actually force her to stop and rest to prevent the strain on her body from causing permanent damage.
Getting her to sleep is even harder, and she will only sleep with you. She claims that it will help her learn faster.

If it were anyone else? Obvious excuse to snuggle with you or feel you up. But with Pyre Spark, you're sure she actually BELIEVES that.

You have some trouble keeping up with her, and you actually have a power to give you near-limitless endurance.

A harrowing week ensues.

Once you get past basic fitness and start teaching her actual combat, you wonder what kind of fighting you should focus on.

You put Pyre through a strict training. As she develops muscular strength and agility, you start with the moves, parries, footwork, punch and kick drills, sparring, and practical exercises alongside the more athletic part of the training.

And, at the end of the week, you realize that your power no longer works on her. You have nothing more to teach her in any case. From here, she can improve only by Awakening her Essence.

Even her appearance changed in this week. She is more confident, more sure of herself, and therefore straighter and prouder, her eyes even more piercing. A slim but strong texture of muscles now runs under her bronzed skin. She looks healthier, and even more attractive as a consequence.

"...no matter how badass you feel right now, Pyre... Remember." You warn her. "Do exactly as I tell you. Don't do anything stupid or unexpected. This guy is an Exalted and trained to kill other Exalted. You are no match for him."

"I understand." She replies, seriously.

"Good." You reply. "...should we start?"

You send a soldier with a sufficiently cryptic message for Amata ("do it") while you hang around town, being a conspicuous target as you discreetly keep an eye on Pyre gathering her followers.

Then, just to be on the safe side, you send a second messenger because you remember reading a novel once where something like this happens and the only messenger being sent ends up having been a traitor all along.

It takes almost an entire day for everyone to get ready. There's baggage to gather and preparations to be made, after all.

For you, knowing what is happening in the shadows, and that spies might be everywhere, the tension is incredible.

Of course, the people know nothing and are not terrible worried. Most are happy, in fact: some believe that you will lead them to some kind of promised land, others are merely fed up of being bullied by the Tiannan Immaculates.

It's almost sunset when you notice, in the crowd, a cloaked figure withna familiar silhouette and a bow and quiver on her back: Zareen. She gives you a nod of acknowledgement and stays hidden along the sidelines. If she's here, then the Immaculate probably is as well.

Mental + Night = 7 2 4 1 = 1 success

Time passes, and the people start gathering in the streets of Tianna in large numbers, carrying their most prized or useful possessions.

It's almost sunset when Zareen snaps her fingers to draw your attention, and them motions in a direction. You follow her finger, and notice a large, tall, imposing man, wrapped in a dark blue cloak, making its way through it.

You suddenly have an ominous feeling, which is immediately confirmed as the giant extends an arm and grabs an old man, white-bearded and wearing old but once-elegant clothes.

The crowd begins to slowly, nervously scatter. "Worms and rats." The giant curses them in a gravelly voice. "Look at yourselves, scurrying about, packing your things, trying to flee from your righteous judgement and to escape from punishment."

To underline his words, he lifts the old man up, and slams him back down, cracking the flagstones of the street with a horrible noise.

The crowd routs with screams and general panic, the only one rushing against the current being Pyre Spark's wide-brimmed hat, accompanied by an angry "Hey! What the heck are you doing?!"

You glance about, panicked as well. Zareen has her bow out, but no notched arrow, and is looking at you, waiting for a signal.
If you show yourself, the crowd is more likely to gather around you for protection than it is to make way for you. In any case, you're unlikely to manage to reach Pyre and the immaculate in time.

Under current rules she has 5 health. Even leaving aside the 3 damage max rule this guy isn't going to spend a ton of essence to one shot her.

You think the Dragonblood is going to waste essence and the once-a-scene bonus on her?
>>
>>32239822
On the other hand, the Immaculate probably isn't expecting her to be much of a fighter, so I doubt he'll waste essence on pulping mortals.

So that just leaves her horribly, brutally injured almost to the point of death after a single blow, which really isn't much of a step up.

Especially since mortals DO have to worry about permanent crippling, horrible scarring, bleeding to death, and infection. Just getting hit once, even if it doesn't kill her, could easily functionally end her life.

Yes, Exalted. In Exalted, mortals get permanently crippled, scar, bleed to death, and suffer infections when they're injured. Exalts are exempt from those normal rules, and instead treat health the way RPG characters normally do. It's called the 'Exalted Constitution.'

It takes you all of three seconds to decide what to do next. With a surge of Essence, you leap high above the crowd, landing on a nearby wall and then running alongside it, reaching the roof in a split-second.

You're already past two-thirds of the crowd, but as you glance back at the Immaculate to gauge the exact distance you need to leap, you see Pyre's hat blown away by the wing blocking your sight for a moment, and then revealing the priestess, being held by the wrist, dangling, her feet not touching the ground.

The immaculate looks back at you with a grin, and pulls down his hood, revealing a clean-shaven head and a cold, hard stare. He is clearly wearing heavy, dark-blue armor under his wraps.

"So you're the instigator of this heresy? Good. Stay there."

You hear a clanking noise as a set of jade claws slide into place on his hands.

We'll need it right away. Those artifact claws will give him +1 damage, and he probably has a damage-booster charm too. Having IKB active will be what makes it take three shots for him to kill us, instead of just two.

HP aside, mortals are hilariously fragile. They bleed freely, suffer infections, and get permanently crippled even when they survive by things that exalts can just shrug off and take a nap to heal up.

Also, artifacts grant a constant bonus, and those are artifact claws. He can use its bonus on her and keep using it on us. He's going to tear her to shreds in response to us calling him out to show he means business.

You barely restrain yourself from flying at him right then and there.

past that first impulse, the sight of blades to the neck of Pyre Spark do a lot to hold you firmly rooted to that roof, no matter how much you want to kick that smug asshole's teeth in.

Instead, you breathe.

"...What's your name?" You ask him.

"Deled." He sneers.

"I am Maka-"

"I'm not here for your name." He cuts you short. "I'm here for them! People of Tianna!" He raises his voice, and damn is he loud. You can swear the entire city can hear him.

"Heretics that you are, heed my words, if you want to have a chance to save your souls!" He points the blades at you.

"That whore over there is a succubus, an accursed monster, demon under human disguise, sent here from infernal realms to distract and lead you away from the true path of salvation. I'm sure this is clear to everyone. She's been under your eyes for some time now. Her demeanor should be clear to everyone! She builds a blasphemous cult around herself, posing as a deity worthy of praise. She tricks and seduces your rightful queen. She consorts with shapeshifting demons of the Wyld. She raises an armed fleet to move war to the Realm and the Scarlet Throne in her folly, even!"

You can't help but hide a chuckle at that last one, despite how tense the situation is.

"Are you willing to take part in this? To follow her into the abyss of damnation?! If so, then the forces of Justice shall start their bloody work here and now. The blood of one in ten of you will pay for the atonement of the other nine. If not, renounce her here and now, and you shall be immaculate and free from sin once more."

Before any reaction can make its way across the vast crowd, which has grown in size even more with passerbys and onlookers, you reply.

Basically the entire realm navy actually, their one naval rival got wiped out recently enough that no one has contested control of the navy yet.

We don't know of any at all, since he never said his first name was "Peleps." This might be a kid, or a cousin, or who knows what. Considering the Dragonblooded focus on family lines, I wouldn't be surprised if those of his surname had a family tradition of joining the Immaculates.
>>
>>32240776
"This cult is for the rightful worship of the Unconquered Sun, and to assist the poor and suffering in ways the immaculates have always failed to. The ships are to protect the citizens of Tianna against the lintha and Abyssals that the realm has never been competent enough to deal with. I have beaten back and slain or enslaved the foul fae who used to ravage these lands, something the Wyld Hunt should have done a century ago. By order of the rightful queen of this land, all citizens of Tianna are free to worship as they please, so long as no other laws are broken. You have committed murder and assault. You're under arrest, and no false faith in dragons that don't exist will protect you from Justice."
Yes, i know that the elemental dragons are real. But they're even more aloof than the celestial incarnae. Telling him his patrons don't exist is a huge slap in the face.
>>
>>32240903
I'm thinking the idea then, we need to use our social powers on the crowd to get them to leave the area. Deled will give zero fucks and we need to get the crowd a safe distance away because if he's this crazy he won't care about collateral damage among 'heretics'. We can also try to at least get deled to release pyre, tell him some bullshit about beating us or calling him out on cowardice when the source of the 'heresy' is in front of him.

Anything to get him to release pyre and focus his insanity on us.

IPS

Its the whole of tianna, plus its not just the speech but the perception of the fight.

"That's like, your opinion man. Only the people of Tianna can answer that and only to themselves. They can ask themselves if i am and did what you claim, and they can ask their friends. Ad last I checked the Faith of the Unconquered Sun is older than your own most zealous monk, and whenever asked i said clearly I was no deity. As for the Wyld, it has gotten a lot smaller last time i checked.

But then again what do i know, I am not the one with a blade at a small girls neck acting like a cackling villain in some story. "
>>
[INSPIRED PERFORMANCE STYLE] [Essence: 4/5]

Social + Zenith + IPS = 6 6 7 3 10 7 4 4 1 5 7 = 5 Successes

"...You just killed a man. An old man, guilty of nothing but to want to leave this city. Because he was tired of being bullied and threatened by you and the likes of you. And you just killed him to make a point."

You leap down from the roof, and he points his blades to Pyre's neck again in defensive reaction.

"You threatened these people, these refugees, with mayhem and decimation. And now, you're holding a girl hostage to protect yourself, holding blades to her neck. If I was feeling sentimental, I'd say you're acting every bit like a stereotypical villain straight out of a two-cowry fantasy novel."

"She is the other ringleader of this blasphemous cult. And now, a prisoner of the forces of justice and righteousness, due to face judgement for her sins." Deled replies.

"We're talking justice, are we?" You reply, ironically, a thick golden glow gathering about you. "Inciting and procuring religiously-motivated violence in a country with freedom of cult. Murder. Kidnapping. Even terrorism, I'd say. I'm not a judge, mind you. But I'm sure that you're long overdue to meet one. A real one."

[SOLAR HERO STYLE] [Essence: 3/5]

You crack your neck left and right, and then your knuckles.

"Let her go." You threaten him. "You're still on my good side, Deled, despite everything."

"Never." He replies, refusing to even back up.

[IRON KETTLE BODY] [Essence: 2/5]

"You don't want to make me angry."

"I want to make you dead, Anathema."

With a flash of light every bit as bright as the sun, the glow of essence gathered around you suddenly changes, rearranging itself. Hitting some kind of breaking point or limit, it shifts all of sudden, in a grandiose display.

You can't see it like the others do, being in the centre of it. But you KNOW what it must look like. Maybe an instinct, maybe a memory.

Caught by surprise for a split-second by the sudden brilliance of your anima going iconic, Deled takes one step back.

In that moment, Pyre Spark grabs his extended arm holding her wrist with her other hand, and, with that leverage, lifts her body, braces it, and slams both of her feet deep into Deled's face with one loud, meaty *thud*.

She twists out of her grasp, and, using his face like a trampoline, triple-sommersaults backwards, making a three-point landing behind you, while Deled is thrown off balance for a second, but mostly, stares at the scene in disbelief.

"GO GET 'IM, DIVINE MAKA!"

We have 4 dragonblooded on our side (Irene, Samuel, Amata, Zareen) + 2 solars (Mikahil, Valeriana) + 3 lunars (Tia, Zaan and Talon.) Not to mention Pyre, Regis and Milian and the three captains. How many dots in Ally should that be?
>>
>>32241245
Not really. The only distinction is that mortal and DB dice-adders are +2 and Celestial dice-adders are +3. (of course, DB have a lot of stuff more that still gives them a large edge on mortals, all other factors being equal)

So you could teach Solar Hero Style to a DB or a mortal. it would be a +2 instead of a +3.

>>32241269
This roll >>32239939 was what made the difference. Not going to go into details, but it was Difficulty 5 to get there in time to prevent her being wounded. said wounds would have been worse with less successes.

Okay. What's our main priority here, guys?

Surviving the fight with Deled Peleps? Or seducing the other two DBs?

PLAN OF ACTION
Kick Clawman's teeth in.

Fuck Spark
Go to Pearl
Acquire grossly incandescent manse
Start construction of city
Train scrubs
Kill Lintha

>>
>>32241504
I'm confident that we can easily seduce the other two DB's just with how we are naturally and the charms we already have. I vote Dawn 4 because Deled Peleps will not stop. He's a crazed fanatic and he's gonna fight to the death to kill us.

It's hard to scale Allies.

Regis is just a mortal, but he's useful and now he's being trained. Pyre Spark is also just a mortal, but right now she's probably also the strongest mortal warrior (without awakened essence) of Tianna, and leader of a large cult. Amata and Zareen are both DBs, but Amata has an entire kingdom, army and bureaucracy and all.

It's impossible to give hard numbers. With the Allies background I mostly go by hunches. And right now Maka is top-tier-3 / low-tier-4

They're not really the same, they have different favored weapons (like, Solar Hero has cesti and improvised weapons, Snake Style has seven-section staves and hook swords, etc) and have different charms that come later (like, Thunder Hammer is only for Solar Hero)

>>32241681
Not at the beginning.

>>32241665
sidereal styles do wierd shit anon. Until you've been kicked so hard that your capacity for hate has now become an albatross and the bridge you were fighting on got frisky and ran away, you don't have a proper understanding of sidereal martial arts.

you think the Chosen of Serenity with Sapphire Veil of Passion won't just seduce Maka and add her to his harem?

Um, the pinnacle of lewd martial arts. (Might be wrong)

And this is after Laughing Wounds (SM based soak style) and Swallowing Darkness (Partial sex based style with fan writeups)

I wonder how Laughing Wounds would translate into this system, especially the immunity to bashing damage and the wound penalty inversion

Laughing Wounds is a pretty diverse style we may really want to pick up.

It has immunity to blunt weapons, fight better instead of worse when in pain, inflict greater pain on enemies you hit, completely shrug of attacks, enemies you grapple don't want to get away, hit someone while shouting an order and they are compelled to follow, mark people as your slaves by hitting them and finally literally rip out someone's hearth to keep him hostage or crush it to kill them

All we have to do is keep getting sexier and I'm sure one will find us.

If that happens then clearly Maka was not yet ready for that level of lewd
