Rolled 2

Last time among our not so merry band of outcasts we had a rousing success with working a ravager to loot an ENTIRE caravan. Not a single bolt, nut, or person was spared or escaped for that matter. Granted said ravager did sorta 'modify' our super tank. It now has a giant...magnet thing a ma jig strapped on it, also thrusters. Swear the damned thing was leaping from roof top to roof top before blasting down to the ground below to trap them. After that of course we swapped out what we no longer desired from the caravan for additional usable goods that the Ramo Raiders were oh so eager to acquire.

That was when things went to hell as somehow a zombie horde has broken out of a quarantined sector and has begun to flood in. City forces are about to react in force, while the local neighborhood is having an emergency meeting, the vile elements such as our selves seemed unbothered...that was until we got a certain 'delivery' device baring heavily encrypted comms that woke up once they confirmed our identity.

"Outcast Sect of RED Sector *Bzt* identity confirmed. Welcome to Darc Kom message has been dispatched through channels declaring ALL members of black net are to attend a certain meeting. In person not required sign into channel 2Oro in person meeting point at this coordinates. Explanation will be provided later meeting is REQUIRED if you so much as deign to stick in a RED Sector ever again."

Have the expeditionary force returned?

If not no.

As for recognizing it according to my records it a network established by vile elements for vile elements. Basically imagine a dark net internet.

As for ghoulish opinions they warn about the packs. Stating that means there is something odd about these zombies ESPECIALLY considering how they somehow managed to break out of a quarantine zone which are guarded by EVERYBODY. City, neighborhood, even criminal make sure to keep that sorta thing locked up tight.

Can we try to camoflague the base first and then bunker down and work on the unstable reactor? We'll have all the time to do so after we make sure the zombies won't come after us.
>>
>>32246155
Yeah probably should do that and scout the enemy out. See what we can learn from them.

Trying to make sure we didn't miss any problems. We still need to check the info on the slave camps as well. Other wise the slaves that gave us the info could get mad soon. But I think they will understand with the zombies incoming.
>>
>>32246244
There's also the food matter, and the fact that we've learned that human food isn't so expensive to mutants and ghoulies underground due to them being able to survive on other foods. We also know they value ammunition, in the least, though I bet there are other things they'd be willing to trade for.
>>
Rolled 52

Basic 1
In preparation for the impending Zombie pact coming our way, camoflauge the base and bunker down the entrances both above ground and underground we control. If we are lucky they will pass around us, if not it might at least buy us some time.

Mutant 1
Reflex reaction Mutants, let each one be capable of shooting down a rocket midair with a well placed bullet, or look at the enemy pointing the gun and dodge before the fatal shot.

We could try to set up proper ambush points and chokepoints, and we've just trained well in vehicles.

Maybe we try and lead most of them away from the base if they end up attacking us?
>>
>>32246529
That could work. Maybe have the smarties make a few fire bombs with the help of hot buns. But our vehicles are set up for attack not defense. So we will need to hit first and never stop.
>>
>>32246604
As they say, the best defense is a good offense. We could camoflauge the base, then engage them away in battle so even if they reach us they'll be too busy focusing on the vehicles to notice the camoflagued base?

Or something more drastic and early starting now?
>>
Rolled 55

>>32246644
Maybe not early we will still need to know what they can do. Other wise any battle plan will fall apart. Whoops they can take over your tanks or nope they don't burn. I guess lets work on the base just in case and see what the other people know. Then scout them out if we have the time.

Camouflage has been placed around the base...somewhat base is sorta really big...and our lack of manpower combined vastly limited what could be done but we did try to get the entrances covered. Unfortunately it seemed to have no affect on the zombies who were not bothered by it at all. They just kept on lurking around before taking interest with our base.

Reflexes boost is quite hard to develop we neither have the facilities or something to base it off of so it was quite slow going.

Broadcast as started to brighten up displaying a circular room with seats and chairs containing all manner of delicious drink/food. Much to the envy of our forces there streamed in a odd crowd of bandits, ghouls, mutants, lads, and ladies oh so much more to the seats. A camera then zooms in on a certain individual standing a a podium.

Greetings ladies and gentlemen to this...fine meeting. My apolagies that this was so short term but time is of the essence. As you all know zombies are interrupting our beloved Red District 69. I am here with you now to point out a very simple fact that being these are not your average zombies.

"So what of course that is expected considering they broke out of quarantine" spoke up a figure at a table.

"Well yes problem is well...please stand up hunters."

A group of figures approach carrying a container popping out a zombie...bearing marks. Suddenly the channels and room exploded THAT was when they spoke up. "These zombies are affected by a dark pact."

"I don't see why we can't let the city deal with them."

"Because you fool as we all know this district thanks to its...pervesions and access is allowed to exist in a focused point. Problem is if we let this event play out we'll draw too much attention down upon us. Worst yet the dark pact zombies will draw attention directly to us. Which is why we need to kill them BEFORE everyone else finds out."

"Are you INSANE. We ain't got the power for that for fucks sake what do you think we all specialize in huh?"

"Look at it this way you know those groups who know better then to stick around or have reason to sniff around? We wont have that anymore and the pervy fucks can only do so much to protect their...pleasures. Which is why we need to strike these fuckers kill ALL the dark pact zombies then let them clean up the rest. As far as they'll be concerned were just doing our part."

"How are we gonna find these dark pact zombies and more importantly what if we don't want to?"
>>
>>32247628
Lookie there, nat100 on dialogue roll.
>>
Rolled 94

>>32247743
"As for your first question" brings up a odd device " this here shows the location to most of the dark pact zombies. Those who don't show up we have specialists to deal with them. Now as for the second question...

"We are all aware of the great...boons that is staying in this fine district. Where the city knows better then to interfere because of certain...pressures. We have much fun here without the hardships of the slums, scum swamps, ugly underground, and so on. If one refuses to do their part then they will no longer be 'welcome'. As in ravager pack will see to it you are utterly looted and sold off to the vilest of pleasure pits. That is of course we are merciful enough not to use you as scapegoats, offerings, or bribes."

Utter silence claimed the room and on the channels where previously they were quite busy.

"Yes I am serious as for which ravager pack will have the pleasure its the Slars."

"So what you need doing?"

"Simple you will all be given targets you are to eleminate as many as you can. Problem is the ones located within the hordes. Those ones you will need to perform a deep strike to take them out and then withdraw."

"What if we can't do it or need help?"

"elimination occurs within districts if you fail to clear you district out in the set amount of time you will ALL suffer the consequences. If a dark pact zombie leaves your district they will be tagged and you will still be liable to get it but also whatever new district or districts it wanders into will also be liable."

"Now that we got that dirty business out of the way those specialists will soon depart and focus on their secondary task as they have bought us time. I suggest you use this time to discuss as necissary a specialist will be present to answer any questions. As for those of you who missed attending in person...I do hope you have a good excuse. Now if you hadn't even bothered at all..."

"Aw real shame you ain't go nobody to trade lets talk business yeah?"
>>
>>32248006
>"As for those of you who missed attending in person...I do hope you have a good excuse."
"We do actually, in the form of a zombie pact that is, right now as we speak, poking at our base. I doubt they'd be so keen as to simply part ways for us to walk through.

Poking mind you, not mindlessly hacking and tearing like one would expect. What this means is beyond this little outcast band. Perhaps one of your specialists would know."

>>32248006
"Business is always good, what matters if you can keep saying that after it's over. I digress. We have loots, and we have zombies. We'd like to part with both of them if possible, or at least given the means to.

Beyond that, some contact with Ghoulish or Mutant caravans would be vastly appreciated."

Basic 1
Master Trill, I don't have to remind you of the dangers and urgency of the actions you are about to undertake.

We need you to scout out the Zombie pact and look for any signs of a Dark Pact zombie, you can tell by the markings and just how generally /different/ it is from the rest. Under no circumstances should you let yourself be caught, they aren't you average zombie.

Take some advice from the Ghouls, they know the zombie best. For what it is worth, these are not the usual of course.

Mutant 1
We have no lab, nor the technology, nor even the base. But even without those things, you still have yourselves. If you would like to improve yourself, try improving your reflexes. Even if it something simple as basic reflex tests and starting from there.

Master Trill indicates that the packs are mostly made up of special zombies with the rest being Dark Pact. Either your a special, dark pact or both apparently if its in the pack. As for how they are different more brains much more likely to move and act with purpose. Very scary not to mention they seem to enjoy certain boons to their power. From being extra speedy, strong, brainy, or even something special.

Mutants engage hardcore training something they refer to as 'forced' evolution. Basically if your lacking in something to base/rip it off of or the proper facilities. You can attempt to 'encourage' yourself to mutate despite the lack. It mostly involves a terrible environment that encourages whatever it is your after and do or die. They do however succeed.

Acquired Mutation Quickened Reflexes

Already enhancing the slight betterment mutants already have to even make it superior to what one can expect among mutants to something one would normally see among ghouls, zombies, monsters, or that sorta thing. Not all that impressive say they can't shoot a missile down with nothing but a bullet but they DO even react faster now.

Alert
the zombie pack has been betrayed by one of their own.

Alert
A peculiar zombie and ghoul pair has revealed themselves assaulting the zombie pack.

SPECIAL ENGAGED.
POWAH UP

WARNING
A DARK PACT HAS BEEN BROKEN.

At least according to our weirdos, crazies, and even my sensors strangely enough.

Meanwhile the ghoul and zombie combo have descended on the pack while the other zombie has seemingly gone berserk.

>>32251367
Population and or sorta thought you might have figured out one of the things that were hidden...you can use something you don't know about IF its available to you but you just don't know it. Sometimes i think someone's figured it out to a degree or you/I make a mistake thus allow it. Just because you don't know the exact details/terms doesn't mean you can't use it.

All we know about them is the old man took note of them and they had some sort of connection with a madam. Then there is the whole HOW THE FLYING FUCK IS A ZOMBIE AND GHOUL WORKING TOGETHER even deal.

Affirmative. It just seems like one of the zombies has managed to break lose. We have received new orders that we are to capture that zombie at any cost. If we are unable to capture we are to delay. Apparently its needed for critical information to determine who is actually responsible before others decide to blame people like us anyway.

>>32251543
My apolagies I was basing it off of the fact you can't even USE a mutation action UNLESS your a mutant civ. The unlock was meant to represent that wasn't true anymore for you. You sorta have to unlock the ability to even use a type of action before you can even use it...

Alright then.

Basic 1
Master Trill and Officer Ice. You both and your teams have scouted the zombie force, and you know the target. We must capture this zombie by any means necessary, alive. And if not, delay it's espcape.

You have proven more competent at leadership and battle tactics than us so we leave you the main objective, but your disrection to develop the necessary tactics. We're simply here to advise, for what it is worth.

Officer Osha is with us, and her harpooner abilities are scarcely matched, even harpooning targets alive. A shame we lost netter, but make do with what we have.

Remember
>"you will need to perform a deep strike to take them out and then withdraw"
>"Extreme caution is advised to eliminate suggest ambush tactics or extreme force."
>"Don't bother to run that wont work with the packs."

Make an opening HARD, pluck the target, and get out FAST. We have heavies such as the Mutants to make the opening, Ghoul leaders who are experienced at zombie knowledge, and snipers and gauss officers to pick off the things that needed to be picked off.
>>
>>32251597
Can we get hold of the zombie and ghoul pair?

If not I guess the best action would be
>Full attack the enemy and kill our targets. Bo our best with the net guns to capture that zombie we need. Chaos is our friend.
Like a raid be we need to save some one and enslave them.

O yeah and equip the new weapons to where they best fit. Officers you know best.

"Uh...actually neither of us are real tactical people. You sorta got the wrong people for that. We are just officers because we can lead."

So our forces attacked the zombie pack considering they were otherwise partly engaged and we had overwhelming numbers/firepower it wasn't a real big problem to wipe them out.

When you are doing actions make sure to roll for them that way it counts.
>>
Rolled 43

>>32252623
Sadly however the odd zombie managed to escape despite our best efforts and the duo disapeared along with it.

According to the device sent to us the others too are wiping out packs and it seems we have a below average presence in that regard nor has a horde wandered near us.

Mean, tough, and ugly. Might have something to do with her being quite heavily scarred. Could of been a beauty before that now though...well you'll need some mighty peculiar tastes of such rarity they are even lacking among the banditry OR getting really REALLY wasted AND drugged. Alas she doesn't exactly give others that choice...poor bastards personally I might of interfered if it wasn't for well THAT and with THAT I WILL admit though it was mighty damn entertaining see her wrestle down a living tank and beat him into submission. I am getting old if something like that makes me take pause.
That and you said mutant tank.

>Mutant Chief Glum (Hero)
A dour sad motherfucker who is understandably called Glum for good reason. He keeps the mutants in line and helps out the ghouls on occasion. How he leads the mutants...not quite sure how he pulls if it. With inquiries they all shut up AND they don't ever talk about it. Even amongst themselves no matter how wasted they get, drugged or so on.
He has to be the one caring for the slaves and he can do this.

I know the ghouls leader, mutant, weirds, crazy, outcast, smarties, scouts and even know the current outcast leader.

Forces are moving quickly and in force. They strike hard and we wiped out the packs easily and without a single loss. Granted we DID burn through quite a bit ammo. Special zombies are tough motherfuckers and as well as their dark pact brethren. Only thing going for us was their lack of numbers. Thanks to that however our sector is largely clear as the other groups nearby are mostly seem to be busy just mopping up.

From the sounds of it a the horde is begining to advance and threatens to split. Orders came in that those who are finished up need to meet at a certain point for a deep strike at the hordes.

"Packs are largely cleaned up now we need to hit the hordes. Take out their dark pact brethren then pull out. No reason to stick around beyond that as others will take care of the rest. For those of who are either done or mopping up meet at this coordinates. We'll finish the rest."

Chief Glum seems to have departed, but another mutant has shown up one known as Gnarl a twisted old thing of a mutant. Surprisingly spry though according to the conversations this one got ousted when his people decided they no longer needed his council a foolish decision

"Do not speak of his people his fate is of the worst kind. Unlike others feel when they see an outcasts for us mutants and seeing someone like him...its nothing but pity pure pity for such an existence a mutant would be hard pressed to come up with such a wretched fate and such a vile cursed existence Those like he are an outcast of choice out of the sickening feel if pity and of their seemingly cursed nature. Reason why no one talks about it is in case the curse spreads unto others peoples. I am old as shit so I can getaway with 'curse' which is nothing but taboo. Granted the taboo is of the strongest order imaginable."

"You are aware of how mutants see themselves yes? Of losing themselves of cursing halfbreeds with those of not of their kind? Those do not even begin to pale in comparison to what happened to Glum. His fate is that his ENTIRE people are dead...but not him."

"Mutants are nothing without their people their culture. Unlike humans...you will always have your humanity you may lose everything else but never that. Mutants don't have that luxury they have only their people their family their group. When that is of all things is taken away...when that is gone it is of the worst existence imaginable for mutant kind. Sure some will welcome them but none can take the pity the misery alone more often then not is so overwhelming it usually overrides everything else they have left. Then there are rumors on how they may spread their curse their fate. It does happen granted but usually just enough to keep the rumors alive."

"Its a fate even worse then being thrown out at least they are still alive. Not so if one is like Glum, thus why no one ever so much as dares speaks of it."

I would lean towards saying that bunker buster missiles are also beyond our reach.

Theoretically we have mortars (and an officer for them!) because they're pretty basic heavy weapons...but we didn't mention mortars back when we had our big officer event so we probably have mortars but no officer for them.
>>
>>32263598
Alright then. Well be sure to listen to his advice with a grain of salt and cautiousness.
>>
>>32265806
In theory, can't we practice our Rocketeers to fire at indirect angles behind cover, rather than straight at a target?

Could be just as effective as mortars, maybe even more so.
>>

We could trade for them if we need to. But mortars should work.

That would be far less efficient than just getting some mortars.

Really though, a mortar is just a tube, some powder, and an explosive shell. If we've got plasma spewers and bullshit like that we've got mortars.

Send our forces, bar the robots and only our most radiation resistant effective ghouls and mutants with technical skills, to those coordinates.

Have those radiation resistant mutants and ghouls (and robots) get close to the unstable reactors and take an assesment. See if they can actually get near the thing and so much as try to touch it, let alone fix it, without blowing up the base to kingdom come or flooding it with radiation.

Anyone mind catching me up to speed? Last time I was in was the gearheads
>>

Well the Gearheads succumbed to madness.

These guys are a group of Outcast Bandits who were being mentored by the very old deposed Ravager King, who Warlord Slag's wife the Ravager Queen overthrew presumably. He died a couple of threads ago though and since then we've been trying to eke out a living in Red Light District 69 of the Megacity Kokaido.

We have a lot of heavy weapons specialists, but are currently having internal power conflict difficulties.
>>
>>32269658
We also got our asses handed to us and lost half of some kickass officers on a raid against a hospital who ended up having an allied tank brigade and an airfleet we didn't even see coming.

On the brighter side, we have a friendly Ravager neice of the Old Man (rest his soul) who's pretty badass (what reaver isn't?) and looted an entire bandit caravan down to the last man and box with a single Super Tank.

Mortars are really only an anti-infantry weapon anyway. That is unless you mean big siege mortars and by then you basically have artillery pieces.

For anti-vehicle or siege purposes, nothing beats a good rocket barrage. They've got bigger payloads, longer range, faster flligth speeds, the only issue is the smoke trail.

The only thing you need now to make them effective is more of em. Think wave upon wave of Katyusha's.

And even if we can't get more mortars or rockets, we can always try to train our troops to be more effective with what they have now.

It would take a lot of time and practice, but we might be able to train our troops how to perform Multiple Round Simultanous Impact, by having shooting rockets/mortars flying at different angles to hit a target at the same time.

With enough a skill, a single man can strike a target with the force of two or even three. And this would compound to, a force of mere 3 rockets would strike a target as though 9 were hitting it at once.

They'd be a very good weapon for raid tactics, have the perimeter watch guys use them to prevent the enemy from recovering and mounting a counterattack...or to delay reinforcements if they're detected.

They're great for suppression and area denial.
>>
>>32285275
Rockets can also preform suppression and area denial, as well as provide good mobility as well.

But yeah, mortars are definitly nothing we should throw out and do give infantry that extra bit of oomph we could certainly use.

Really we just need to get as many weapons as we can, and get the manpower to use em. We've suffered low man power before, even with so many specials and heavies.
>>
>>32285347
On that note we really need to focus on expanding ourselves, instead of just existing.

Alisha thankfully bought us enough food to last a good while, but not forever. We must get to the underground somehow so we can get to that cheap source of Mutant/Ghoulish caravan human food, since humans compose the backbone of us and multiply the most, but at the same time need to be fed the most.

We can also get things to placate the Mutants and Ghouls from the caravans as well.

>>
>>32289055
I had guess as much, missiles are guided projectiles while rockets are unguided ballistics.

One is better for tracking moving targets and striking accurately, like small-med vehicles and aircraft, the other is better as a blanket barrage en masse.

>>32289055
And not as though, there aren't an assortment of zombies and enemies to ensure the Ghouls are always fed.

Too bad humans can't into cannibalism, what with Kuru disease that inherently comes from eating human prions and nervous system.

Forces have been dispatched at the coordinates we encountered others who too have finished up their duties. Now the mission involves dealing with the dark pact zombies contained within the hordes.

Deep strike plans as followed choose which you volunteer for.

>Psycho Punch
Forces charge headlong into the horde fighting their way to them and then possibly out again. Forces volunteered mostly involves Insane, vile union, and breakers.

>Deep Strike
Use vehicles to force an opening and deploy troops to strike deeply within. Withdraw will be by vehicles once more. Mostly involves aircraft. Volunteers include raiders, Nutters, and assorted.

>Steel Rain
Hi-tech elements have volunteered their vehicles and drop pod capabilities for this operation. Obviously it will involve steel rain set up pick up is not assured and your better of connecting with one of the other operations for a way out. Volunteers include the bots, Exterminators, and Elite/badass.

>Bombardment Barrage
Heavy guns, big cannons, and weird shit. These guys aim to blast the hordes apart preferably including and focusing on Dark Pact members. Includes Weirdos, Besiegers, and Boom BOOM Gangs.

Operational Operators
Mostly unknown what they plan to do commonly believed they'll go after those that we miss or something basically REDACTED only group that will only tell you what your objective is once you sign up and once its happening. Made up mostly of wannabes and specials.

-----

Examinations of the unstable reactors reveal what the ghouls already said to be true. They are in bad shape and unstable as in continually leaking out radiation among other things/problems. Ghouls can get close...at least some of them anyway. They don't like do so as it makes them hungry as hell and further encourages decay. Later find out why when-

ALERT
Feral Ghoul Pack detected.

Is partly why. Ghouls say they can touch it safely enough though its too intense for the mutants or bots. Is somewhat fixable.
>>
Rolled 68

>>32289300
Also has to deal with how easy they are to make. Rockets are much simpler to produce then missiles thanks to the more advanced tech required for missiles.

Cannibalism does occur with humans problem is once you croak you'll likely end up turning into a type of ghoul in addition to other possible problems. However it IS possible to have acquired mods or genetics to allow it to be feasible though the ghoulish resurrection does remain a problem.

Has for super technology like that does exist its just they have come up with other more feasible/cheaper ways as well.

An asston.

Places that produced stuff like that were prime targets and while it ain't that hard it still goes for a pretty penny especially the fancier munitions.

Black rounds while notably cheaper and a hell of a lot more common tend to be rather crude...

Recycled Rounds also have their issues but they remain a popular and fundamental source of munitions just like black rounds which admittedly are still much more common.

Black and recycled munitions remain the most common types.

The fancier stuff is considered a real luxury item only megacorp, paramilitary, and those who really invest/get lucky tend to have it in any decent number. Though remnants also have it to a degree...they just wont have it in bulk and wont be able to produce much of it if any.

Basically it goes like this in terms of munitions grade.

Black(Crude)<Recycled(often called Rez Ammo)<Para(old world)

Black is by far most common, but also crude.

Recycled which is a member of Rez munitions are the in between the two.

Para is quality old world style munitions.

>>32289748
Feral is permanent. Some ghouls types degenerate over time and when they are simply too far gone they considered feral.

As for it being linked to hunger that is the most often the common cause.

Unable to connect with Lab AI. All sections except for Security Network lost. All passage ways except for Entrance and Hallway 5 lost. Ghouls and radiation resistant forces keep working on the reactor while everyone else parties it up. Its unstable certainly but the ghouls can get it fixed if we tap into our supplies for spare parts or they can do some...'modifications' allowing it the pump out a lot more power. Will be a bit tricky but it wont be outright unstable.

Spare parts consumed to repair the reactor.

Radiation is still all over the place near there though.

The party meanwhile goes reasonably well. Problem is the officer core has largely been cleaned out and that has caused some problems nor has the differences between forces been fixed.

Here is more info for us to go threw.

Relations

Are tight among four lines the Odds, humans, mutants, and ghouls.

A fifth faction is present but refusing to take part those are the bots they are most focused around the access to the labs underneath us.

Mutants are somewhat good with ghouls until they started nomming slaves which has strained things between them for some reason. Not getting along with humans and odds are creeping them out.

Humans seem to be willing to put up with the odds but the mutants and ghouls both rub them the wrong way except for a few exceptions but that is only true for the ghouls and NOT the mutants.

Ghouls are strained with the mutants, mostly bad with the humans, and the odds are starting to get on their nerves.

Odds only get along with humans(who keep their distance from their...brethren). Have strained relations with both ghouls and zombies with no friends among either of them who at least had a few with only one of them...

Also Madam Azullasha can help.

"Hm need your people in line...got ghouls, humans, and mutants. Bit of a variety there good thing you didn't add onto- wait there are also bots my bad. I can do something but things will clash unless a union or pacts are formed to grant some aid. I for one can handle what you have though the bots may cause me some problems...and my services wont be by any means cheap."

The Madam requires 1 loot per a group to put them in line and another loot to have them make up with another group.

>>
>>32296267
Believe me godzilla, I would LOVE to see what an upgraded Ravager Tank would be like, but we could benefit more from something all reaching and we'd still have even if the tank was destroyed.

But man on man would that thing kick ass, we could probably launch an assault on the farmers and win with it.

>>32296267
We get two.

We could cover some of the picks with other things if we were better with finding heroes. Walk around would give a lot of info, But the notes have helped with that. Azullasha can help with in home problems if we pay her.

Super Syn can help with upgrades or Evolution, maybe even heroes. But with our luck I leave that at a maybe. But if we get the right hero again like the old man. We could train like mad and get right back on top no problem.
>>
>>32296322

Your options are

-----
Raid
Loot
Pirate
Classic
Outlaw

-----
Tech
Vile
Savage
Overlord
Anti

-----
Weird
Mad

Walk around option

You are an outcast or technically a run away considering there was a warrant out for your arrest. You very nearly ended up getting nailed by some slavers and ending up in a pleasure hell. At the moment you count yourself lucky for getting away and making it here. Though the armor sucks...a lot. You envy the bastards who have salvaged military hardware so much. So many fun toys yet such shitty armor. Still you decide its best to move around and check out the different groups. At least once you got your basic kit aka shoddy rifle, beaten pistol, some crude ass ammo, and even shittier outcast wrappings. Apparently the new guys don't get the good ammo and armor well turns out everyone has shitty armor even the veterans. At the mess hall you got to eat...what you think is porridge with some rocksalt. Looking around meals are pretty hectic and made from whatever. Usually good stuff though especially once some the suppliers go out. Sadly that is rare until you made buddy ghoul who treats you. Apparently they don't care much for 'feed food'. Alright ghoul too you almost ended up getting radiated if it wasn't for that one interfering.

So much power flowed through my systems are nearly shorted out...also may need some new light bulbs and need to check out some wiring as well...

oh so much POWAH!

Trill and Co are now off scouting. They say the zombie horde will be upon us soon if nothing is done and the nearby terrain naturally forces them into a chokepoint. So long as they don't go through buildings anyway.

Loot accepted.

WARING
EVOLUTION WILL RESULT IN CONVERSION OF ALL OUTCASTS.

DANGER
you may LOSE THE OUTCAST BENEFIT AND NO LONGER COUNT AS SECT.

WARNING
MAY CAUSE strained relations.

This is true for most of them by the way. Not sure why your obsessed with looters. I need to show off the other groups as well it seems...

Traveler tales will continue shortly.

Traveler Tales Continued

You...your not sure what to think of you new 'name' apparently everyone gets one a bandit one that is helps make the transition easier or so they claim at the mess hall. God they served mixed gruel again full of undercooked meat and over cooked veggies. Only mercie was the 'fruit salad' aka crack open a bunch of canned/frozen veggies throw some extra stuff in stir it and serve. Surprisingly good was not expecting that sadly you apparently enjoyed a few too many servings. Next thing you knew you were forced to work for the cook...a duo between mutant and ghoul. The chef meanwhile was a human apparently the guy recruited those others so he can best deal with the differing palettes. Tried the same with the oddballs but apparently that didn't work out too well...turns out crazy doesn't mix well with food or weirdos for that matter. Though they DO still have a weirdo on board turns out while it isn't exactly food per a say doesn't mean it has other uses...also drugs. The weirdo lady is the only one here who can cook drugs and more She is simply known as the Chef and the previous cook before the other actual chef arrived. According to my ghoulish friend the chef is a cannibal who got busted serving up the wrong kind of 'pork'. Made me worried that he was going to do the same to us but it turns out thanks to the ghouls he has calmed down. Apparently he just wanted someone who appreciate that kind of meal and they did so he has chilled out quite a bit, also explains the odd and or warning labels on different dishes.

Don't want to know where he gets the human flesh...

Day 2
Double T is what they call you now stands for Tiff's Tough. Real inventive I know wandering around after escaping the kitchens this time with some odd treat known simply as bone bread a real hit among ghouls and mutants. Apparently they could never get it fluff out until now. You have a special love that is spiced plan to bargain it somehow and considering how thanks to the recently dead officers their quarters have got to open up by now and you want a piece of the action. So you head there ran into a real brute of a mutant previous leader of the mutant pack who joined up awhile back got real annoyed with me and was about to do something even worst then usual when I offered up bread. Dude guffawed before snapping off a piece and yelling at the others I was from now on a welcome guest...later would found out how it was a traditional greetings to offer a piece of food to a leader. If he accepts you joined his group and if your a wanderer you get a spot for the night. In this case i accidentally bribed myself a new room AND am considered an honorary mutant...oops.

Day 3
Inside the quarters are...really quite luxuries. Lots of open rooms even BEFORE officers started dropping like flies. Now its pretty barren...but full of excellent stuff but no one to enjoy it. I got myself a entire suite and a few rooms besides. Right next to my primary room had the space. While looking around I got myself a suit of paramilitary armor. Holy hell this stuff has become rare as hell as suits give out, taken apart for parts, or were simply lost. Boy do i love it made sure to conceal it among my wraps....that is once I find them anyway.

Day 4
Found my wraps mutants grabbed them to do some writing on them no idea what it means but I got my new armor concealed now. Decided to go back to the barracks to get the rest of my stuff...from what was left of my old life. Took longer then expected to move my stuff over.

Maybe we can use over powered lasers or beam weapons to use up some of the power. That or go through the labs to free control.

Can any one in our group close the buildings down with explosives or other wise?

Day 5

...I miss home. Sure this place is bigger even way bigger then what I used to have with my family. Feels empty though the pangs of old life haunt me. Others seem to realize it and have kept their distance from me. Seems like they know when this sorta thing crops up and know whats best. Found myself wandering around because of it. To a the 'pod' room or so the robot alerted me when it rose up from the ground REAL sneaky like. Good god I nearly shit myself seeing a giant robot suddenly appear before carefully plucking a giant tile from its heading and setting it down over where it arose from before turning towards me.

...

we both stared at each other for awhile before it spoke up.

"You say nothing...and i grant access to pod simulations yes?"

That caught me offguard according to everyone I talked to the pods were offline and broke besides. I couldn't help but nod in agreement.

Next thing I knew the bot had a metal spike slide out of it into a hole...some strange whirring and clicking sounds happened before the doors opened. After that the bot welcomed me inside where it went to the office right inside did some clicking sounds and typed before a whirr and a keycard popped out which it motioned me to grab.

"Access card. Use it to get in and select what you want."

After that it trudged over back to the then forgotten tile lifted it up grabbed a box before going back in and tugging out another similar box but seemingly quite fried/damaged which it replaced it with.

"Now good to go."

After that it left and i couldn't help but couldn't help to try it out...should not have done that. Several days later i finally trudge out filthy and fainted of hunger. Next thing i know I wake up in the medical bay...with some scars on my waist.

>Maybe we can use over powered lasers or beam weapons to use up some of the power.
Hmm, yeah maybe divert all of that power into (infrared) lasers directed at either the zombies or someone we don't like far away, like the farmers.

Infrared so it doesn't leave a big straight line of light saying "hey, here we are!"

Day 7
"OH WHAT THE HELL."

"You didn't have anything worthwhile on you." explained the infamous Doc Wilt. "So we took a liver chunk as payment. Your lucky being the type you were made it worthwhile so here you go" and suddenly had a duffle bag dropped on me...full of medical supplies, some ammo, and a shotgun.

After that I shuffled off. Goddamn bastards but he gave me some good stuff apparently worth a real pretty penny. Now as for my liver turns out he place a cybernetic installation inside me designed to 'harvest'. All I got to do is show up for once a week and may or may not be put under while the harvest occurs. In exchange i get paid handsomely. What a great fucking deal.

Day 8

Stopped by the vehicle bay didn't notice much...place was pretty empty. So much so it has been converted into a race track. Should not have bet on that race track...goddamn rip off. Yet on a similar vein noticed the vehicle bay now includes a chop shop. Apparently Doc Wilt sparked it off by pushing for it also bringing in some outside talent to oversee they're old friends a gal called Kali the Romance. Ironic name by the way as she is the biggest fucking tomboy ever, also forcefully recruited me with her bots. The damned was oddly silent over how she could order them around and now I am stuck working here.

Day 9
After getting off my shift from the chop shop(see claiming I needed to get 'harvested') I went off to the armory. I wanted some new stuff and met quartermaster Hands. Yet another ironic name has he didn't have any. Apparently he lost one for theft and the got blown up during an unfortunate smuggling accident. He also lost one eye for being corrupt but has since gotten a cybernetic replacement. One of the few paramilitary outcasts we have here and actual albeit corrupt quartermaster at that. Here he has flourished and became de factor head quartermaster and chief of the armory. He would just LOVE to get access to the stuff the bots have locked up in some of the supply areas...and even in levels of his own armory which he is immensely butthurt about. Supposedly there are places in the armory they wont allow access to but if anyone tries to confirm who isn't Hands there doesn't seem to be a problem. He swears that they move stuff around. I don't really care all i know I turned in all three of my guns for a nifty a Flak Cannon. Cost me an asston even with my favors/connections, but apparently this baby is really something.

Day 10
When to the Storage Unit Complex otherwise known as the only place bots allow people to poke around. Actual warehouse complexes are locked up tight by them and occasionally they'll transport some goods from the warehouses to restock or shuffle around the storage units. No one has ever seen even a fraction of them. Thanks to it being a damned moving maze that shuffles back and forth not including the bot shenanigans. While poking around got lost in a container(see falling into a box full of CANDY!) when abruptly I felt a click and..no more shifting or whirring but steady pattering. When I finally climbed up and peaked I found myself going inside a warehouse door. Transported to a strange shuffling belt where they were pouring the stuff of other containers onto...which were taken to a snapping shredding maw tearing them apart

Day 11

I barely escaped lost my damned notebook...by the time i realized it was a shredder it was already too late...but for some reason it only tore the clothes of me...I was spat back out BACK into the box full of candy...that were repackaged and treated. When cleaning myself off I found out the candies were considered no longer good so...somehow they got repackaged/treated and now their fine again. Weird tasted fine guess it must be one of those required things...also really miss my armor. Especially when a bot picked up on my presence and tore me out of the repackaged container full of rejuvenated candies...that was when I was dragged off. Fearing for my life...only to be plot down on a couch...best of all I wasn't cold you would think the warehouse would of been chilly but in this new room it was perfect especially for being in the nude. Next thing I knew a speaker came on baring Bal's voice.

"Great someone FINALLY got into one of my warehouses WITHOUT blowing something up. Kudos for that by the way and the only reason why I will let you go-why are you naked?

I will admit I couldn't help but shuffle awkwardly

"Oh yes the repackager. Have to do that off or on less what is contained becomes damaged. Sometimes this includes refreshing the stuff as well. You got lucky you managed to avoid that fate. Would lov-I mean hate to see what would of happened. Anyway...sorta don't have any outfits for you and until I am done vetting you among other things you will be staying here. Don't worry its quite comfy and entertainment will be provided."

With that Bal was gone and a package arrived for me...full of sex toys and right then a screen popped up displaying porn with a simple note with detailing a winking bot saying how I might as well enjoy myself considering my current predicament and the fact i hadn't had much...company for awhile. Real surprise there considering the close calls I had and present company.

...I swear to god i heard that AI laughing.
>>
Well we now know BAL has a sense of humor.
>>
Okay, time to crash again and read this all in the mornig.
>>
Rolled 92

>>32299934
Day 14
Finally got let out...and I will admit the bots took care of me and I may have sorta...couldn't help using what Bal offered. I know I know but you wouldn't BELIEVE the selection that was available and somehow the damned AI had such excellent tastes...really weird for an AI, but man did it feel good getting home and crashing. Sure I may have bitched and broken some things...as well as having a talk with bal or 'interrogation'. It wasn't I swear the poor bastard was just bored or lonely. According to him bots don't have any interest for fleshy concerns and considering what he did/does some fleshy concerns are his own as well. Anyway at home I found a package...sent by BAL and containing a Sex Bot with a note.

By the way have I told you how I no longer feel bad for BAL and hope he falls into a pit full of thermite?

Yeah...I will admit it was really REALLY awesome dream even got off on it...then I woke up and found the real reason for that.

So SO need something to short circuit this damned thing. Every time it simply comes back repaired and improved. I am running out of ideas.

Day 16
Went down to the cells where the slaves are kept. Turns out there are two sections one that isn't irradiated that contains the slaves while the other has feral ghouls. WHY am i down there?

Simple only place the damned perverted sex bot wont find me. Think I might of gone to far trying to destroy the more sensitive parts like chips and circuits or crap.

Day 18
Went to the ammo dump as i ran out of ammo for...reasons(pretty obvious at this point). Was basically a giant armored box with some slits where you put in what you wanted and it either dropped down through a slot or a door opened up depends really on which. After that I wandered over to the Supply Depot place where supplies are stashed before usage also where more can potentially be produced. Basically has really basic manufacturing back before it got wrecked. Now crawling with bots Bal is getting desperate.

Day 20

After getting off work I found myself facing a very pissed Mulka...turns out I had skipped basic training...for weeks. God help me she apparently has something special in mind more me..

----
AND DONE ohohoh and yes this person is otherwise occupied. Heheh thinks it can hide anything for me. Granted it was sorta easy with being dragged off and otherwise occupied, but still. Gonna come up with something special...like uh. Okay I am gonna have to think about thi-oh I HAVE IT.

This was a good pick. It's given us a lot of info on the inter workings of our base. Plus some key people.

Kali the Romance / Doc Wilt / Chef / Double T (Traveler) / Quartermaster Hands / Mulka / Sneaky giant robot / previous leader of the mutant pack who joined up / duo between mutant and ghoul / BAL

Hopefully didn't miss any one. Turns out the sex bot is a hero.

Also, drat, we've reached the Bump limit.

I will try. But the real thing is who is a hero and how do we get them to trust us. I think we can also use some of this to fix our infighting.
