After the week you spent away from home, you'd nearly forgotten how incredibly comfortable your own bed is... you would honestly be happy spending the rest of the day simply lying here and becoming one with the fluffy mattress.

But the sun's starting to peek through your window, and that is the sign that it's time to get up. After all, your ability to enjoy such things as having the most comfortable bed ever and a private bathroom with hot running water are kind of dependant on you doing your job.

And so, you slide out of your warm bed and steady your feet on the decidedly less warm floor, stretching as you head to the window to get your usual breath of fresh morning air. After taking a few minutes to fully enter he realm of the awake, you quickly head to the bathroom to get bathed and dressed... and just as you're preparing to fasten your grandmother's sword to your belt, you glance over at your bed.

Or rather, at the wall adjacent to your bed, where you propped up your sword last night before you went to sleep.

"Hmm..." you mumble as you walk over to the bed and pick up your sword from its resting place on the wall. After unsheathing it, you see that it's still the same oddly dull color that it was last night... come to think of it, your new bracelet's also the same.

It's only been a few hours since Niklaus did whatever it was that he did, though, and he -did- tell you that it would take a day before your sword as safe to use. But even so, it probably wouldn't hurt to carry it around for the day. The thing -is- supposed to feed off your magical energy, after all.

After wasting more than a few minutes positioning and repositioning the two swords, you're finally able to get them to sit on your belt in a way that you're at least somewhat comfortable with. It still feels really off having this extra weight on you, though.

"Ugh, how was Volker able to stand going around like this all the time?" you mumble as you make your way out the door.

They might only be able to integrate because they'll be attuned to the same magical signature, though. It'd be a worthwhile experiment to see how bits attuned to two different people interact. Will one absorb the other, and if so, does the magical ability of the two attuned individuals affect whose wins? Or is it just about which lump is larger? Or will the resulting amalgam respond to both individuals?

Maybe something Niklaus can investigate later once Karel's got the hang of her bracelet. It's got applications to things like his security badges if the latter is the case, since it means you can attune an object to more than one person simultaneously.
