You are Michael Groves, once lanky teenage boy, now short magical girl with both ridiculous outfit and ass and swords and gravity manipulation powers. And you fight demons, while living with a cuddly pet demon who is also a cute bunny and occasionally a busty, innocent-somewhat- minded girl, while saving your... close... female friend Cassie Winters from harm, alongside the people of this town.

After a day of rest just lounging around with those two – enjoying their company and unwinding from the events of the day before you’d managed to get a good rest in. Refreshed, for your first day back at school.

You were somewhat overwhelmed by the gazes as you dashed into class, somewhat slightly past the bell – it had taken you some time to disentangle yourself from Rain, your aforementioned pet demon who had coiled her arms around you while you slept – and sat down shortly before the bell. Thomas was a glad sight to see, giving you a wave to which you nod back half-heartedly. The whispers only intensified.

“A new girl..?” “But she’s sitting in Michael’s place, where is he?” “Thomas got a girlfriend? Nah, can’t be… can it?” “She looks cute, sort of. –“ “Like a kind of tomboy skank, but-“

Hiding the slight wince, you keep looking straight ahead until the teacher comes in to call the register. And the whispers only increase when she accepts your call of “Present-“ for Michael after a long pause.

It was somewhat hard to concentrate for maths with the stares, but somehow in a daze you worked your way through it. You had thought that after what you’d been through something like being the centre of attention wouldn’t have been so bothersome, but it preyed on the back of your mind.
>>
Morning break came all too soon, and it was fortunate that Thomas made his way over first.
“Hey, man. I heard from Cassie you had a rough time yesterday? Are you feeling ok?” His face all sympathetic as he rests his hands across the side of your desk. You nod, not trusting yourself to speak on what happened with that particular demon.

“ That’s good to hear-“ Thomas is cut off as one of the girls in your class butts in, Roberta or something-

“Who are you? You answered to Michael and you’re sitting in his seat, but-“

A call from the front of the class called out. “Miss Roberta, please stop bothering Michael. He’s been going through some… issues, recently, so don’t crowd him too much.” The teacher barely says that before she leaves, as the crowd starts gathering round.

“Michael? You’re a girl now? What happened? Why’re you all short and stuff?”

You turn away from a somewhat irritated Thomas to face the crowd, somewhat uncertain of how to explain matters.

[X] Medical complication.

“A medical complication,” you repeat, finding the words flowing from your lips more easily as you begin to speak.

“I’ve never heard of something like that, before-“ A number of folks had already jumped to smartphones to search for info on it, as more questions poured in.

“Was it some sort of disease?” “-A treatment? Did you get in a fight or something and had to get huge surgery that badly..?” “A brain transplant?” “It’s not contagious, is it?” “Are you really Michael, or is this some kind of a trick?”

Thomas handles the last one, confirming who you are, reassuring them – boys and girls alike with curious prying eyes, both inquisitive and predatory and friendly and disgusted alike.

“It was… something of a shock to me, honestly. But, trust me when I say that I’m making every attempt to return to my own body..?” It sounded like a question, even to you, and you could see at least two faces fall from that, along with amusement and confusion.

“How does it feel?” “Have you… you know?” “There’s no way you’re really Michael…”

The questions fly thick and fast, and you deflect them – with a surprising ease, you find, and one hand grasping at you, which you politely but carefully slide to bash against the table. That wasn’t something you’d be willing to tolerate, not after yesterday. You nod again to Thomas, who succeeds in managing to shift the topic over to something inane about the differences between females and males, which stirred up enough angry words that the teachers came in to sit folks down again.

Classes. Even after all this, they were the same workloads – not unmanageable, but definitely requiring your attention. It did take your minds off things, though you did catch your tongue licking your lips sensuously every now and again as you glanced over your fellow students.

There was one issue that did turn up – which set of toilets were you planning on using in school, anyway? Were you going to change with the girls for gym, or the boys? Each set of choices was definitely a problem. Not that it was going to come up soon, you hoped. The question was being pondered in your head as the lunch bell rang – and you were accosted by a trio of girls – Roberta, and two more you didn't recognise. Up ahead, Thomas waved awkwardly, nodding over to the cafeteria.

“Oh, hey Michael! Since you’re, a girl now, want to eat with us? We’ve got a bunch of questions for you-!”

[ ] Accept their offer. It might be useful to talk to someone other than Cassie and Jean, especially those with another female perspective on things.

[ ] Politely refuse, you’ve got a friend waiting for you.

[ ] There was something a bit more important to do than talk to either of those – you needed a bit of time to talk to Jean, the other magical girl that you knew of about what had happened.

[Would Michael be changing with the boys, or girls?]

As for changing...I'd imagine girls. It's either that or an entirely separate room, from a school administrator's perspective.

[x] Accept their offer. It might be useful to talk to someone other than Cassie and Jean, especially those with another female perspective on things.

With a smile and a gesture to Thomas to go on ahead – which he accepts, though looking disgruntled – you nod to the trio, letting them lead the way into the cafeteria.

“So-! It looks like you’re entirely a girl like that! Did it hurt-“ The blonde girls flanking you on the right rubs her side slightly, wincing slightly.
“Sorry! We already said between ourselves not to bother you too much about all that. I’m sure that you didn’t want to say every last detail out loud. Isn’t that right, Bethany?”
Bethany nods somewhat sullenly to Roberta as the four of you start queuing up for lunch. “It’s not like it’s any business of ours! But, at least you look decently presentable. Did someone help you out with it?”

You nod, somewhat caught in the flow of the comments. “Cassie Winters, Thomas’ sister. She’s been really helpful.”

They give each other odd looks, as if passing messages through glances. After a couple of meaningful looks-
“That stuck up girl in the year above? Well, she’s not quite so bad, but I’m surprised at how she’s got time to help you out after Miss Queen Bee is making googly eyes at her. Still, she hasn’t done half bad on you…”

Miss Queen Bee..? Someone after her? You ask, cutting off the backhanded compliments.
>>
>>32312584

“Angelica – surely you’ve heard of her, especially with calling her that. Even you should have noticed her and her gaggle of girls. She seems to pick them up and make em all happy, but we never really got invited. Carrie’s been somewhat part of it, but never really joined in like the rest of them. Oh, you really are Michael, aren’t you? Utterly clueless with class politics and so on… that’s dangerous, especially without knowing anything as a girl. Cassie’s not going to be able to help too much, being in different classes, but trust me, you’ll be glad to have some help from us to keep you on your feet!”

Roberta hesitates for a second more, and leans in a bit closer. “You’ll want to, ah, probably start moving a bit further away from Thomas, too. He’s got a.. reputation, you know.”

Again, you nod absent-mindedly. Girl politics? Class heirachies and cliques? Really? Was this what you had to look forward to? It was interesting, in a mildly bewildering way… still, it probably would be bad to push away these three quite so soon.

It’s with your mind buzzing with these little details that you return to class once more. You hadn’t known that about Angelica, though she’d had that group of followers for… some time. You couldn’t remember her without it, in fact. “Still, she’s popular, somehow… could be useful in keeping out the way of all this stuff.”

“Something the matter, Michael?” Thomas had returned during the break, face full of concern and a hint of upset. “I… was the thing you went through yesterday really terrible? Or, um…” He bites his lip as he looks over at the rest of the class, chatting away normally. Already you’d been forgotten, it seemed, as if it were just another ordinary incident. “Were those girls bothering you?”
>>
>>32312609

“I’m all right, man. Don’t worry too much about it.” You smile faintly to your friend, still somewhat amused at how serious he’s gotten about your state. “I’ll try catch up with you on the way home, ok? I might be able to catch up if I don’t have a bunch of magic stuff to do.” He nods, gratefully.

Class passes in a drudgery of time. And you are free once more from the torments of school – at least until tomorrow. Thomas falls in tow

[ ] Head out on patrol. Now you’ve seen the fearsomeness of demons, you’ll be damned if you let others fall prey to them.

[ ] Go see Angelica – she seems like she was interested in you as well. That meant you could probably at least avoid all this girl maneuvering stuff at school.

[ ] Head back to tell Thomas a proper run down on what’s happening. Another sympathetic ear couldn’t hurt.

[ ] Talk to Jean – was there any easy magic way to keep yourself out of all this stuff? And you still needed to hand over the demon essence you were holding on to.

[ ] Talk to Jean – was there any easy magic way to keep yourself out of all this stuff? And you still needed to hand over the demon essence you were holding on to.

With demon essence safely in hand and after seeing off Thomas, you head out to see Jean.

It’s only after a few steps that you feel foolish enough to have to ring Jean up to ask her where she actually *is*.

“I’m out patrolling, at the moment. We’d be able to cover more ground separately, but moving together’s would work well if you want to chat. Are you sure you’re ok to be up and fighting so soon? You looked pretty badly off yesterday…”

After telling her it was fine, you both agreed on meeting up in the nearby park, to wander through the greens in the fading summer sun.

---

“-So that’s why I don’t want to keep it in the house. I don’t want Rain or Cassie or especially Thomas to stumble upon it, and.. activate, or trigger it or whatever.” You hold out the little ball of vileness to Jean as she nods with a calm aura about herself, cradling it gently in her hands. “I’m sure if it’s with Atropos it’ll be safe, at least. I don’t want to touch the thing, after all that it did.”

“Rain might be at risk, since she’s a demon, but normal humans can’t interact with demon essences, fortunately. Not without magical intervention to begin with. But it’s mature of you to do so, Michael. I think that… while I’d never wish an experience like that on someone, it’s seemed to help you grow a bit. You seem like you’re able to talk about such things a bit more carefully, now.”

The two of you walked astride each other down an ill-lit path, the light shading through the leaves in the afternoon dimness.
>>
>>32313977
“It’s not quite that which got changed,” you blush as you smile again at her. “That demon we fought earlier – that singer – I, well, took that one in… and.” You show off again just how far your tongue reaches, now, swirling it round in a little spiral. With a start, Jean watches with interest, and then with a beet-red blush spreading across her face. “Oh. Oh-!”

I wonder if she’d object if we were to show her how it feels by touch, instead of just looking? And where she’d want to feel it?

As if she can read your mind, she breaks eye (tongue?) contact with you, turning away hurriedly.
“Good for you! You look like you could certainly enjoy yourself eating with that!” A little stammer in her voice as she marches resolutely on. “And, did you manage to handle the magic backlash?”

You affirm that, too, eloquently describing each delectable bite Cassie had fed you, spooning the soft, creamy dessert it into your mouth in wide scoop, letting the ice cream flow out over your tongue, filling you with that vanilla delectable taste-

“I see! Ok!” If anything, she’s moving at slightly a faster rate. Red right the way round to her neck, now.

For someone who’s been a magical girl for quite so long, she seemed to be remarkably easy to tease every so often.

“-What I really wanted to talk to you about, though, was to ask about how common demons are supposed to be, Jean.” She finally lets you catch up, as you jog a few moments forwards in your comfortable trainers. “We’ve had… what, four demons in the space of a few days? Is that normal? I don’t want to sound worried or anything, but… I’m sure that if there were that many demons in the world, lots of people would have run across them a lot faster. Am I right?”

No answer, not for several seconds. Eventually, she nods, concernedly.
>>
>>32314004

“I’ve never seen quite so many demons gathering in such a small area. Normally, over a whole city, there’d be maybe one, two in a month? To see four in such a short space of time, and one especially powerful one, at that… it’s unnatural. I’m not sure if they’ve been drawn here for a reason, or if there’s some ulterior plot going on. I don’t want to think of something like that to happen, but it’s always possible another Magi is doing something unscrupulous…”

Again, Jean shakes her head. “Magi in general hate demons. It’s rare that they’d use them in an attack, and even considering such a thing is said to be actionable at the highest levels. We’d have to be up against a truly desperate foe for someone to do such a thing.

“Is there any other alternatives?” you muse, running the tip of your tongue over your fingertips.

“The demons could be after an artefact, perhaps? Drawn to one? Or… another magical force, perhaps – a leader demon? Or they might even be summoned by someone. Though the only thing capable of doing that would be a Witch, and no Witch has been seen for decades.”

[ ] Consider Rain to be perhaps the source of the demons.

[ ] Consider Cassie to be linked to the demons.

[ ] Consider someone else linked to the demons.

[ ] Keep quiet on who might be an issue. You’ve got patrolling to do to make sure there aren't further demons.
>>

We don't know dick, so its best not to speculate.
>>
>>32314029
Can we ask if she knows where the Violation Demon originated from?

Like could it be when Jean was first investigating Carrie, we kind of distracted her from finishing the job?

The possibilities that Jean had brought up were disturbing, to say the least. A magi with an axe to grind? Atropos himself scared you several ways even while being an invalid in a wheelchair. To imagine another with a vengeance was a fearsome thing. An intelligent demon? The unintelligent sort had been… hardly easy to defeat. Though even Rain was smart enough to make her own plans and ideas. How smart could demons truly become? Would Rain grow in the future to become more intelligent, or would she stay as she is?

Artifacts? How powerful and problematic could one be to summon up demons? How badly would people wish to assert their hold on it?

-And the warning that Jean had given you about witches, too. If you were ever to meet one – only try to escape, never to fight directly. Beings who could devise entire worlds from their imagination, to summon and change reality around them with but a moment’s thought. Limited only by their own desire. A terrible thought to your already warped body. Or perhaps limited to how much you could dick them… not that you’ve got one to do so at the moment.

“-Jean,” you ask suddenly, breaking free of the thoughts you’d been lost in. “Did you look into the demon and where it came from? The one that… got me?” Your voice had dropped without you realising it. The other girl had, and she stops to catch you in a hug, awkward around your hips as she draws you into a half-embrace, loose and yet comforting alike.

“It’s gone, ok? You don’t need to worry about it any more.” “Yes, but, did you find out where it came from?”

She shakes her head simply, the blonde hair flowing down over yours as you rest on her bosom.
>>
>>32314306
Then I would like to do that. I feel like it's something I would like clarified.

“I was too busy helping you after I’d dealt with it that I didn’t have the chance. There might still be some residues left at her place, though. If there’s anything, we should search earlier, rather than later. Most of the Aether taint would have dissipated already, but It’s worth a shot, at least. It’ll take some time out of the patrolling I was going to do, though.”

[ ] Best check it out before the trail goes too cold. Head to Cassie’s place and look into any remnants of the demon of violation.

“…And that’s why we’re all in here in your bedroom, Cassie!”

Cassie did not look particularly happy about this arrangement, sitting on her bed as Jean laid herself out on the floor in full sparkling pink and white magical girl regalia. You yourself were in corset and stockings, your boots over by the door as you rested by her, feet hanging over the side of the bed kicking slightly.

“I did want to get some sleep in tonight, you know. And why is he in here?!” She points at Thomas hunched up against the wall opposite, smiling weakly. “Michael said I could..?”

You had, in fact. It seemed innocuous enough, and he’d wanted to be able to help you out somehow.

“This room isn’t big enough for four people! Not all at the same time! Can’t at least someone wait outside?”

Jean, still laying on the floor with arms and legs outstretched, cheek pressed against the carpet, quietly shushes. “If I can concentrate, the faster I’ll be able to leave.” She caresses it as if it were to spill out its secrets to her, to reveal what sordid acts were hidden by it.

Curling up more, Cassie pulls the blankets about herself, staring as everyone went silent with the ‘clump-clump-clump’ of her father passing by. She doesn’t resist as you lean close to her, resting your head on her shoulder and staring at the outline of her lips in the dark.

As time passes, as Thomas sits down atop a pillow, resting against the wall, as Jean shifts ever so slightly, as you slip closer to touching your lips on her soft cheek.

“Here.”
>>
>>32316013
A glitter in the darkness as the grounded magical girl lifts something shiny and silvery into the light.

“My hairclip? But, I was wearing that today-“ Cassie scrabbles by the bedside table, looking for something in the small drawer set inlaid into it. Picking up another little item as she gasps

Two of the same, in fact.

"It was a gift specially made for me from my grandmother...I'd thought I'd lost it a week ago or so, but it was on my drawer like always... How did I end up with a second..?"

“This seemed to be the focal point. Someone drew the demon into this little trinket, and put it here. It was no accident, Cassie. Someone was after you. Someone intelligent.” Jean shakes her head, a grim visage against her pretty little dress.

Poor portents indeed.
