/tg/, I've had a crazy thought. I should probably be talked out of it, it's that bad. BUT, I must pursue it. For science.

What if we took a so-called magical realm and, stay with me here, lifted the realm out for use as a setting?

My example being this lovely piece of hentai right here. Let's look away from the possibly mentally unstable pervert and the delicious monsterloli that he gets to tap; there's a world there.

A world that, at some point in time, was overrun by such a dense fog that people could barely breathe inside it, a fog that became a sea, an ocean, an ecosystem all its own. A sea of fog that has expanded greatly, if the old submerged fog shelters are anything to go by. The ecosystem also seems to be fairly violent, as it spawned 'forg': fog monsters. And the tech level of humans seems pretty advanced, too. The pervert dons some sort of 'sentient vertebrae', attaching it to his fogsuit. Their ship seemed to be floating on the fog, as well, and his weapon blasted a a tentacle clear apart. And they were just some kind of a delivery service!

The forg herself appeared sentient, at least, and they were capable of breeding, so many interesting character options and human/forg interaction could be possible.

This is just some background that someone threw together so he could draw a delicious monsterloli learning the pleasure of being cummed inside. But I'd say it has the beginnings of a damn serviceable setting, and if expanded upon, might be hella fun to run a campaign through. And there are likely more settings like this, glossed over in favor of a night's research.

What do you think, /tg/?

In other words, ITT: Convert hentai and porn into settings?

I like the sound of this. I got nothing to contriboot but I'll keep my eyes on it.

Basically.
>>
Well, your idea has merit, and indeed you have the rough canevas of a setting here, but the first thing you need to decide is what kind of campaign you want to run.
>>
Reality rift in the Pacific Ocean a la Pacific Rim, except this time it was a steady pump of bacteria and gases. This fog then covered a large portion of the world, but not before people and governments alike built bunkers, both for survival and for scientific endeavours. But these too failed.

And faced with their imminent demise humanity as a whole decided to reach for the stars and beyond, developing at an astonishing rate. Amazing what people can do when you give them enough of a reason to do so.
This resulted in the massively advanced tech you see here.

Eventually the fog stopped being pumped out and the fog that was already there became somewhat stable. It recedes and covers just like the tides. Why did it stop? Because the ones who opened the portal decided to close it for whatever reason you want. Civil war or something.
And since the fog stopped rising some people went back to Earth, mostly either the uber-rich who can afford to live there, or specific tourist destinations and the personnel to maintain all this stuff.

As for the forg... Well, it's either mutated oceanic fauna, the fog itself evolving, or species introduced by whoever opened the portal.

If you can't stomach the though of all this being facilitated by a magical portal in the ocean then throw this idea out the window.
>>
>>32457180

And then which monster girls your group wants to fuck

Possibilities are endless.

Pervert and his partner are a delivery service, for example. Likely a rather useful job when the fog is so treacherous.

Good old-fashioned forg-hunting campaign.

Maybe one where the players manage their own fog shelter.

"Day 12.
I can't stand it anymore, those things, they keep showing up at our camp, I just can't keep it up, I'm all sore now and they just wont go away."
Surely a nightmare, huh?
>>
Isn't there a webcomic kinda like this? Without the monstergirls at all though. Derelict I think it's called. Monsters who turn to stone (or just crumble into cancerous dust or something) when exposed to UV, so a lot of weapons against them basically inject UV radiating liquids.
>>
>>32456996

eh it's been done,
the idea isn't as novel as you are somehow presenting it to be
pretty sure some ERP out there have their own magical realm setting
>>
>>32457312
The regular, not monsterpussy-seeking fogworlders seem to think of the forg as animals. And the forg didn't look like it wanted to fuck his brains out. At first.
>>
>>32457317
Don't forget that the fog appears to be sentient and can really fuck with your head if you breathe it in. Thankfully some UV down your mouth clears that up lickety-split.
>>
>>32456996
I remember the first thing I thought when saw that manga for the first time was "what a waste of setting".

It was really cool, I thought it would be nice if the author decided to make an actual series on that setting.
>>
>>32457477
>what a waste of a setting

I wouldn't call it a waste. The author made terrific use of it. /tg/ could maybe do a bit better. Depends on the group.
>>
>>32457515
"What a waste" in the sense that I know would be only a one shot, not that the contents were bad.

If you create something good and don't use never more then is "a waste"
>>
>>32457661
That's where we come in!
>>
>>32456996
I wanted to make something with magical realms too. But it's fairly different.

Basically, take any given magical realms you can think of. Vore, guro, lolis, watersports, scat, monstergirls, inflation, pregnancy, bestiality, futas, BDSM, exhibitionism, mind control, incest, what have you.

Mix them all and mix them good in one unified generic fantasy setting at the crossroads of every magical realms in existence, and work out the details so it actually has a cohesive social background. And then let the players go adventuring, with no emphasis on the fetishes other than "the wench is a young child, currently being used as a cocksleeve by one of the tavern's patron. She joyfully asks: "Hello! Welcome to the Jumping Baboon! What's your order?"".

I have yet to find a reasonable explanation for why magical realms are/became a part of the setting though. Without "magic yo".
>>
>>32457755
>no emphasis
>there is a loli wench getting pounded that greets the players
>>
>>32456996
>A world that, at some point in time, was overrun by such a dense fog that people could barely breathe inside it, a fog that became a sea, an ocean, an ecosystem all its own. A sea of fog that has expanded greatly, if the old submerged fog shelters are anything to go by. The ecosystem also seems to be fairly violent, as it spawned 'forg': fog monsters. This seems pretty cool.

This is still a terrible idea, almost as bad as that grog who insisted that Gor was totally a good setting for running games for kids.
>>
>>32458069
Yeah. It's just a thing that happened. No need to go into details such as "..., her tiny, tight cunt having troubles handling such a long black rod of flesh. She's panting and moaning because of the pleasure of being pounded, and once she's done asking for your order, she falls on the table, and start screaming "YES! HARDER! HARDER!". This arouses you!". That would be overdoing it, and therefore magical realm. But in a society where every single fetish is accepted, including exhibitionism and pedophilia, there is no reason for a man into lolis not to fuck a loli wench if given half the chance. Heck, if I were the barman, I'd even make it mandatory for them to only wear an apron, in order to attract more clients.
>>
>>32458119
That's, like, toes on the line. but it might work. Maybe.
>>
>>32458133
It looks like it'd be the sort of setting that you'd only run with friends who know that's what you're doing and are ok with it.

I'd probably play a character completely straight in such a setting. They just want to go on adventures and stuff, all the magical realm is just an annoyance or inconvenience if they ever have to deal with it directly.
>>
>>32458184

>>
>>32458184
Yeah. Good luck with that. I think /tg/ would still call it magical realm.

Not that it matters, /tg/ calls everything magical realm.
>>
>>32457755

>>
Felyara, or however you spell it, and MGQ are very developed as settings. With a few tweaks like making everything monstrous, they should be extremely serviceable.

I actually had an idea like this, where I would take one of those generic "the future is full of sex, and my fetish in particular" sci-fi smut worlds, play it up to a huge amount (secret police using electrified dildos instead of batons, a blowjob is just as suitable a greeting as a handshake, etc.), and then have the players be a resistance made up of right-wing fanatics (they all have hundreds of guns, the symbol of the resistance is a bald eagle spray-painted in red, white, and blue, etc.). Adventures would be things like firebombing dildo factories, freeing human cattle, and adding spermicide to the water.

I don't know, I think it would be kinda funny.
>>
>>32466686

Thanks. And don't worry I'm even in the double sekrit club.
>>
>>32456996
Wow. That hentai manga is extremely detailed. I especially liked the paragraphs of descriptions after the end of the rather lackluster pornographic elements. The author should have made a serious manga instead of that, the background had a lot of potential.

On an unrelated note. I think I'm going to archive the thread on sup/tg/. What tags does everyone think it should have?

I thought about doing the same with pic related. Its not hentai so it'd probably be easier to get my friends into the idea. I think I am already already better off than I tried to use the MG Encyclopedia seeing how the monstergirls in this don't crave sperm to survive or whatever goes on in that shit. Not to mention the monstergirls have male counterparts and they all seem to be their own people instead of being more akin to wild animals. So despite a great degree of sexual dimorphism in some species (Like Minotaurs if you've taken a look at this) I always thought that this could be a fun world to adventure in. Thoughts, /tg/?
>>
>>32456996
I've been thinking on this. In all honesty, it doesn't seem to be too different from most other ocean based post-apoc settings.

Large expanses of sea. Very little dry land. Dangerous monsters in the depths.

The biggest difference is that the ocean in this case is 'fog' instead, which seems to have some rather interesting properties. Not only is it possible to swim in it like a fluid, it's also possible to breath in it. Breathing in it might require the specialized equipment, but other than that it behaves very strangely. It's a fluid and has an ecosystem like the ocean, but isn't nearly as difficult to traverse for humans, aside from the creatures.
>>
>>32456996
So, OP what were you looking for besides a yah or nah?
>>
>>32472024
Gases are fluids too, anon.
>>
>>32473098
I suppose I meant to say liquid rather than fluid. My bad.
>>
>>32471919
Thread has been archived.
>>
>>32471940
That looks pretty ecchi. I see monstergirls.
>>
>>32474212
It is. I guess my point was since there is no full on sex, and the monstergirls in it arent constantly craving the D and there are actual males, using this as a setting or as a springboard to make one would be easier than actual hentai.
>>
>>32474359
>and there are actual males

What does that even mean?
>>
>>32475999
Presumably that there are male versions of monsters, instead of everything being cute monstergirls except for the male protagonist.

That's my guess anyway.
>>
>>32476040
>male versions of harpies

I don't think that works.
