LAST EPISODE: You gave Sana moral support at her audition. Sadly, she did not get the part.

NOTE: This episode we're doing something different!

Yasuo Rao sighed as he sat down at his desk at P-COC. This had been a rather hectic week.

There was the ongoing validation/registration duties, which were akin to pulling teeth out of one's own mouth.

Lady Une's inquiry had finished, and that was an entire mess. Made all the more unpleasant because her Ladyship was making things...awkward.

PAGAN was continuing to be a nuisance. It wouldn't be so bad, but they were a nuisance that got media coverage.

Then there was the latest host of Incidents that needed to be addressed. It was astounding how swiftly people accepted P-COC into their lives when they became someone that could 'make things better' or at least be an Authority that could be blamed.

There was only ONE thing worse than when people turned to P-COC to solve all their paranormal problems, and that was when people turned to THEM.

It wasn't as if P-COC was against private contractors. Quite the contrary. It was just that they were either fakes, ineffective, part of PAGAN, or...THEM.

Still, the bane of Yasuo, and P-COC's, existence had been quiet since the incident in Akihabara, two days ago.

He wondered how long THAT would last. That aggressively forward priestess had sent over some forms...but those could be ignored for now.

So today he was going to get some work done, and that meant working on.

> Finishing the National P-COC Registry. The sooner all of Japan's sites/groups/people are catalogued, the sooner P-COC can create solutions.
> Try to talk with Lady Une, or contact P-COC leadership. We can't have any more infighting, or nothing will get done.
> Meeting with PAGAN representatives, and see if it's possible to get those lunatics off the TV and keep people from thinking that P-COC is some evil government conspiracy.

"Admittedly, the Ghostbusters may be the most famous and possibly effective of the groups out there, but they aren't the only ones. Certainly, there are other groups and individuals who ARE actually legitimate in this businesses."

I hope we can do more of these, holy crap these are all so revealing

Hey Guys, just want to say something.

Concerning last thread light of the fact that we are facing a spirit of rage, I would like to propose a strategy with which we are to combat this spirit.

We should go to both Sachiko and Rini the Rabbit Youkai and her girls, and seek to invoke the blessing of the Ōkuninushi, the Shinto god of Marrriage, Magic, Spirits, and Nations.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%8Ckuninushi
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izumo-taisha

There are several advantages to this:

1.Being the god in charge of spirits and ghosts and magic, it would be natural that an exorcists (such as ourselves) would benefit greatly from his aid

2.Our enemy is a Sumerian demon, Gaijin and literal “foreign devil”, the gods of Nihon would not appreciate their interference, evenmore so that Ōkuninushi is a god of nations and of Japan and how disasterous.

3.He is the god of Marriage. As our enemy is a primal spirit who embodies an imbalance between genders and seeks to cause disnuity and disorder, as a god of Marriage Ōkuninushi would ebody equality and harmony among the races. By causing death and destruction between the genders, she is a direct affront to his domain.

4.We helped Rini, a Youkai and a rabbit. In a very famous tale, Ōkuninushi showed kindness to a rabbit when the other gods were cruel. We have shown Kindness to Rini, and furthermore Youkai are direct descendants and intrinsically linked to our gods.

Rini and Sachiko should help us beseech Ōkuninushi for his blessing for our fight, that we might get some help fighting the primal spirit, ideally if we have time we would do this from the GrandIzumo Shrine which is also the oldest shrine in Japan and is dedicated to him, though that is a few prefectures away but reachable by train travel I suppose. If not, we have Sachiko do it in her temple.

Yasuo grabs his smartphone, and heads to the door. He's got a long list of people who called into P-COC asking for help, and as a field agent, that's what he's here to do.

"Yasuo!" A sharp voice snaps as he walked across the office floor.

Lady Une is there, glaring at him. He wondered how such an unprofessional person could end up in such a prestigious position.

True, P-COC was considered to be...less prestigious, as government jobs went, but it was still a position where you not only represented a global organization, but also Tokyo and Japan itself. If she had any respect for the position, she would have resigned the moment those allegations of collusion with that Social Group came out. Instead, she resolutely hung through it, and now P-COC was seen as an even less respectful organization.

Although, on the other hand, if the rumors were true and Lady Une was related to someone in the Diet, or possibly the Royal Family, (The rumors went either way) then P-COC would be the best place for her. This way she could be...less embarrassing, and much less public.

Still, she didn't make Yasuo's life any easier.

"Yes, Miss?" He asked.

"New agent. Take her out and show her what we do." She grumbled as she pointed at the woman standing next to her.

She went back into her office and slammed the door. Yasuo bit back a nasty smile, Walter Peck at least had the dignity and respect to treat Lady Une's situation with the proper gravitas. The limitations he put on her activities were extensive...although Yasuo felt that Lady Une's remarks about his...anatomy, and the lack-thereof were uncalled for.

The new woman, who was quite pretty, and dressed in a respectable reddish-brown dress suit, walked up to Yasuo and dutifully bowed and presented her card. Yasuo did so in return.

"Hoji Mae." The girl says. "It is my honor to serve."

"Rao Yasuo. I welcome you. Have you been briefed?"

"Yes. Although, some of this seems...strange." She says.

Yasuo smiled. "You will see. Now, we have some places to go and I believe you will learn more 'in the field' as Mr. Peck would say. Have you talked to him?"

"Yes. He is a very intelligent man." Mae says. "So, where are we going?"

"We've been requested to go to a cram school." Yasuo says as the pair leave the P-COC offices. "Do you know how to drive? We have some company cars."

Mae nods. "I know many things." She says with a smile. "Never been able to buy a car of my own though."

"Then I'll drive." Yasuo says.

The pair get into the car and head out. "May I ask you a question?" Mae asks.

"Go ahead." Yasuo says, a little surprised at her forwardness.

"Have you lived in Tokyo all your life?" She asks.

Yasuo nods. "You?"

"I was born here, but I've moved around." Mae says. "Do you...really believe in all of this stuff?"

Yasuo shrugs. "I believe that there are unusual things. People have put a lot of nonsense around it. But it's all understandable in the end."

"So, you're like those..." She scowls. "Independent Contractors." She hisses with venom. "Going on with their PKE, and wave-forms, and other babble."

"I didn't say that." Yasuo says. "But...I do think that there are parts of this world that we should respect, things we should honor. In this job, you'll find a lot of our duty is to keep people from poking metaphorical sleeping snakes."

Mae smiles at Yasuo. "Exactly! It's all about respect. I think we'll work out fine, honored superior."

Yasuo smiles back at the girl. He likes her.

The cram school is a small one inside the second story of a storefront. It's not much more than rows of computers, for 8-10 year olds to work on, with a few tutors walking around to make sure that they're focused.

There's one of the tutors standing outside. She's wringing her hands and almost sags in relief when she sees Yasuo and Mae approach.

"Are you the people from the government?" She asks.

Yasuo and Mae bow, hand out cards, and make introductions.

The tutor leads them inside. "They just started, and...we...we can't get them to STOP! We tried turning off the power, but I don't know what to DO!"

The computers are crying.

Small sobbing noises come out of the speakers, the mouses are trembling, and tears leak out of the blank screens.

"This is unusual." Mae says, eyes wide and fascinated as she looks at the weeping machinery.

"We sent the children home, and we called for help." The tutor says. "Nako says we should call an exorcist, or a priestess, or those Ghostbuster people."

"That, hopefully, won't be necessary." Yasuo says. "Let's start with..."

Yasuo writes up the situation, takes a few photos with his phone, and checks the dry cleaners that's next door if they've had any issues. They haven't.

Mae, in the meantime, interviews the other tutor. According to him it was just a normal day, they were making sure that the kids were going through the normal educational training programing and then one of the computers started to cry.

Then another, and another. Until the whole room was sobbing. They tries turning the computers on and off, but that didn't help. So they sent the children home.

Yasuo calls the main office. Lady Une is curt as ever, but she gives the order to do standard procedure for a manifestation that's not going anywhere and not a threat to anyone.

Shut it down.

"Alright." Yasuo says. "This is a clear manifestation, are you two the owners?"

The tutor shakes her head. "No."

"Well, you're going to have to contact them, and inform them that this facility is now shut down." Yasuo says. "Mae, please secure the area."

Mae gets out a roll of CAUTION tape.

"You are required by law to lock up this place," Yasuo says. "And then vacate the premises until we can confirm that this is a safe location."

"What? That's it?" The tutor asks. "What about the school? What about our jobs?"

"I'm sorry." Yasuo says. "Until we can confirm that this manifestation is harmless, or no longer present, we cannot allow other people inside. Especially children. If you have the owners contact P-COC, we can provide options and recompense."

"But...but..." The other tutor shakes his head. "Aren't you going to do anything?"

"We are." Mae says. "You'll be place on a waiting list and, in time, a P-COC registered specialist will come in and ensure that this area is safe."

"I have a family friend who knows a priestess, can we bring her in?" The second tutor asks.

(cont)
>>
>>32742614

>>32742695
Yasuo sighs. "You are free to call in any independent contractor that you wish, P-COC can provide a list of approved individuals and groups. It would be under your own costs, though. However, P-COC cannot allow other individuals to come into this place, especially children, until we've verified that it is safe."

"We'll be in touch. Thank you for keeping the safety of Japan in mind." Mae says.

The pair leave.

"Told you we should have called the Ghostbusters!" The tutor says. "They don't have to put up with this kind of crap, and they'd FIX the problem."

Mae flinches and scowls. She almost turns back to the pair of tutors, but Yasuo stops her.

"It's okay." He says. "Let's get to the next one."

"Is it true that you just let those...people...flaunt your authority like that?" Mae asks as they head to the car.

"The Ghostbusters are grandfathered past a lot of clauses, thanks to their inception being so closely tied to P-COC." Yasuo says. "But it would still be our purview to declare the site safe, since it is public land."

"So, what's going to happen to the crying computers?" Mae asks.

"If they don't seek a private contractor?" Yasuo says as they get into the car. "We'll come back at a later date, see if we can enact a dialogue with the manifestation. If not, we'll dispose of the anomalous items, and if that doesn't work, permanently seal off the area."

"And so the legend of the Crying Cram School begins." Mae grins. "Very good, very efficient." She nods. "I think I understand. We keep people in the safety of the light, no need for people to go poking into the shadows and get hurt doing things they shouldn't."

Yasuo nods. "Yes, exactly. Odds are good they'll call in their priestess friend or another independent contractor, they'll solve the problem in their own way, and we'll come back and make sure that the site is safe. Then that will be that."

"I see." Mae says. "So where to next?"

Yasuo checks his phone.

>>32742757

"There's another call for an On-Site inspection at another Manifestation location. Really, there's never an end for that." Yasuo says with a smile. Then the smile disappears and he sighs. "PAGAN is making some noise downtown, it would be good if P-COC showed up and dispersed them before it got too much attention."

"They're the 'ghost rights' group right?" Mae asks.

"That's them." Yasuo says.

Mae bursts into laughter for a bit, she has a very cute laugh. It's like she's barking almost, in little high pitched yips. She settles down and shakes her head. "I'm sorry, I just find that so funny."

"I'll keep in mind you said that when PAGAN throws wet flour on you. They like to do that." He sighs. "A group of exorcists are waiting for their initial P-COC review so they can be put on the official registry." Yasuo says.

"They any threat?" Mae asks.

Yasuo shrugs. "I don't think so. If they've gotten this far in the process, then they aren't con artists or delusional. They should be worth our time."

Mae makes a non-committal sound in the back of her throat.

Yasuo then groans. "Oh no...it's THEM. Apparently they went through a public business and now that business need to be cleared by P-COC."

Mae snarls and shakes her head. "Please tell me we can skip it."

"Well...there's...no rush." Yasuo says.

"Interviewing's a big part of your job, let's go meet our new contractor hopefuls." Yasuo says.

Mae sighs in a little bit of relief. "Good, good. It'll be nice to meet the competition." She frowns and then looks at Yasuo. "That's not the right term is it?"

Yasuo shakes his head and smiles. "I understand how you might think it, especially with THEM running around, but these others are good people. We're more like the dispatcher, or agent, for them."

Mae nods. "Got it."

The pair drive over to a private residence. These contractor hopefuls are a 'family of psychics.' Another term that makes Mae break into yips of laughter.

Yasuo likes Mae, they chat about Tokyo and general life woes. Mae comes from a big family, Yasuo is a single child. Yasuo had very distant parents, Mae has smothering folks.

Yasuo even thinks that Mae is flirting with him a little...but he's not 100% sure. Either way, he's having a nice day with her.

The 'family of psychics' is...well...they live like hoarders in what must be an inherited house. There's a 'grandfather' who makes no less than three passes at Mae. The daughter is too loud, too violent, and too brash. Yasuo has NO idea what her purpose is, other than swing a practice sword around. The boy is a non-entity who has even less purpose than the girl, except to spout old legends from older books.

The only one of any real interest is the youngest daughter. For some reason she's dyed her hair white. She's able to pass the traditional 'Card test' for psychics. (Though she has some trouble with the three wavy lines card, says it makes her head hurt)

Yasuo smirks as he listens to Mae totally obliterate the boy's knowledge by correcting him on the legend of Hakutaku, using four different resources, including Chinese legends that call it the Bai Ze. The girl knows her stuff.

"Hakutaku taught our family years and years ago." the youngest girl says. "But it has been a long time since then."

"I can see that." Yasuo says.

FOUR MINUTES LATER

"Well," Mae says as she and Yasuo get into the car. "That was amusing."

"You didn't give that girl a concussion, did you?" Yasuo asks.

Apparently Mae knows a little judo, or some other martial art. Yasuo doesn't know any of that kind of stuff, but he does know that Angry Girl got pissed at her family having to jump through hoops for 'Governmental Dogs' and challenged Mae. Mae then dropped the girl onto the floor in two swift motions.

Yasuo then spent some time apologizing to the old man...who was too busy drooling over Mae to be too offended.

"She'll be fine." Mae says. "So, what's the verdict?"

Yasuo shrugs. "They'll probably be added to the registry, but he doesn't see much active work passed their way. Maybe we'll throw them the crying computers and see how they deal with that. That or the case where there's a floating whistling teapot in a employee kitchen."

"I think they're fun." Mae says. "They have respect for old ways and old things. Proper exorcisms and methods. No 'new ways' or science crap. Much less property damage."

"I like the sound of that." Yasuo says.

There's a knock on the car window, and Yasuo turns to see the youngest girl standing there.

"We should go to our next appointment." Mae says.

"This'll just take a second." Yasuo rolls down the window. "Is there something you'd like to tell me?" He asks.

Having a personal grudge against new ways and science isn't a grounds for dismissal, but it better be something Yasuo thinks twice about this person if she really wants to be a part of the PCOC because not only do they have to regularly go through groups using science and technology, but the very basis of the PCOC being supported by the government is to use the scientific method of approaching, analyzing, and solving a problem.

Still, not as if there aren't plenty of government workers who probably hate politics and the government in general.

The third daughter of Oiwa is Dark Water

And Pagan is probably the key to freeing Oiwa, not just Kayako.

Plus it's possible that offscreen, the Fury has already shoved the Ghostbusters into pocket dimensions of some kind, hence soap bubbles.
>>

I'm thinking we go see the Ghostbusters now.
Just to make sure they're not soap bubbles.

That sounds even more distasteful.

Let's go tell the Ghostbusters cryptic loli messages.
>>
>>32744762
Is there evidence she's a ghost? I can't tell cause I'm too exhausted to think.
>>
Nice. This again! I need to catch up first.
>>

Unlikely but possible. Unless she's possessing a little girl, she'd have to be a very powerful ghost to manifest flesh and blood. No easy task.
>>
>>32744609
>warn them
>>
>>32744609
I think Yasuo is smart enough to connect the dots we should go visit the crew. Because when the psychic girl that has demonstrated her psychicness tells you to warn them you should probably do that.
>>
>>32744762
"No sense putting it off." Yasuo sighs. "If we don't put a curtail on their lunacy, they're likely to destroy the entire ward that they've descended upon. Or worse."

"Bleh." Mae says.

The pair drive into the city and finally stop at a massage parlor.

It's not a nice one either. Well, no. That's not correct. It's plenty nice, and a lot of money went into it, but its clearly slightly more than just the typical tourist massage parlors.

The fire crews have just finished declaring the place safe.

"It was insane!" The pock-marked face man that 'does accounting' for the place says. "First this old grey haired woman comes in, and then half of the girls start to fight each other...and especially the clients.

"Then these four nut jobs come in and start spraying this green stuff everywhere. Thank god that causes the girls to stop fighting, then they start yelling at the old woman. Then the woman makes a gesture and stuff starts to fly around the room! The four people in jumpsuits then blast lasers from their backpacks at the stuff and the woman...and they MISS...I think...anyway then I have a fire.

"One of them grabs a fire extinguisher and puts most of it out, but the old woman waves her hand and the FLAMES turn into PEOPLE. Then MORE lasers and that green goop, and then the flame people are gone, and so is the woman, and the jumpsuit people tell me to call P-COC and take off after her. So...are you the people I need to talk to about getting my fire insurance signed off?"

"We'll have the forms sent to you." Yasuo says. "Acts of Paranomal Manifestation should be covered, depending on your insurance. There are firms that are in litigation. Now, for the more important question, where did those people and the old woman go?"

"I dunno." The man says. "Down the alley that way."

"Anything that way?" Yasuo asks.

"A couple of pachinko parlors, some manga shops, a soapland, a liquor store, and a couple other stores." The man says.

"Soap?" Yasuo asks.

"Yeah, Little Angels." He says. "I know the owner. I send people there and he sends people here, we cater to specific clientele tastes. Now, can I get those forms?"

Yasuo walks away, feeling like he needed some soap. Why were some people so...open about being vulgar?

Mae looks similarly unhappy having to be here, talking to the girls standing around in skimpy 'dresses' looking at the ruined building. At least she is trying to be classy about this. Dutifully taking names, if they're giving real ones, and trying to keep the grime off of her suit.

"Come on." Yasuo says to her. "We're going to check down the street."

"Why?" Mae asks.

"Because the Ghostbusters might have come down that way and if we find them we can fine them for this mess." Yasuo says.

"You said that there would be meal vouchers." One of the women Mae was interviewing says.

"You're mistaken. Go away." Mae says calmly, and walks away.

The pair walk down the alley, and see proof of the Ghostbuster's passing, slime and scorch marks.

"Did you really promise them meal vouchers?" Yasuo asks.

"Hmm?" Mae asks. "Oh that. I said that full cooperation would be appreciated, and I suppose they must have twisted it." She waves her hand dismissively. "People like that do things like that."

"People like what?" Yasuo asks.

She shrugs. "People who work in places like this. They don't matter, they'll mew for a bit and move on. We have bigger prey to hunt." She smiles warmly at Yasuo, and he feels his heart speed up a bit.

"Would it be improper to ask you if you would be interested in having a meal with me?" Yasuo asks.

"I would be delighted to have a meal with you." Mae says calmly. "I know a lot of lovely little places. Have you ever had rabbit? It's delicious. Though I haven't found anyone who can make it like my mother does."

I feel that most people need to be direct witness / involved with the whole process of ghost combat with the crew before they wise up.
>>
>>32745575
"It sounds delightful." Yasuo says. "Ah, here we are. Little Angels..." He sighs as he looks at the entry to the soapland. There's certainly signs of the Banes of His Existence being here.

Also...Mae seems a little...twitchy.

"You okay?" Yasuo asks. "I noticed that you seem to be really antagonistic towards the Ghostbusters."

"It's that obvious?" Mae asks. "And here I thought you'd be distracted by my charm."

Yasuo smiles. "I have eyes, and I rarely make jokes about my work."

"Same here." Mae says.

"Anyway, I know a lot of people have issues regarding tradition and beliefs. But in P-COC we try to be as progressive as possible. And that includes treating methods that people like the Ghostbusters use with just as much seriousness as the old ways."

"Even if the old ways are better." Mae says.

"Well, weren't the Old Ways the New Ways back in the day?" Yasuo asks as they go into the soapland.

"No." Mae says sharply. "The Old Ways were the ways GIVEN to mortals by their betters." She sighs. "That's at least what I believe."

"You don't think that mankind can create our own Ways of dealing with the shadows?" Yasuo asks.

"You sound like a middle-eastern couple I hate." Mae says. "Family history. She waves it off."

The lobby shows more signs of combat, fire, fire extinguisher, and lots of slime.

There's sounds coming from the main 'bath house.'

"Well stop thrashing!" Daisuke shouts. "That's what's causing you to bounce!"

"This is actually kinda fun!" Star says.

"Trap her now! Trap her now! Trap her inside the bubbles with us!" Akira snaps. "REALLY bright idea. I mean it, WAY to go."

"Look, someone is going to come in here." Daisuke says. "Eventually. We just need to be patient, and not thrash around."

"How much air do you think these things have?" Sato asks.

Yasuo and Mae walk into the room...and see the four Ghostbusters trapped...in giant soap bubbles. There's a fifth soap bubble that has a steaming ghost trap in it.

"Oh thank the heavens. Yasuo!" Daisuke waves. "I've never been so glad to see P-COC in my life. Get us out of here man!"

Mae is doing that yipping laugh again. "Oh this is just too too perfect! Oh..." She sighs and puts a hand on Yasuo's shoulder.

Daisuke sees Mae snarl in irritation and something causes the soap suds and water that's direct behind her to swish and whirl. Like someone dragged something through it.

"I have had a busy day." Yasuo says, freeing Akira. "And you four are not making it better. You do realize that there are multiple fines incoming."

"Yeah, yeah." Akira says. "Bill us."

"If you're going to be like that, I might not tell you what the little psychic girl I met today told me to tell you." Yasuo says with a smile as he frees Sato, who lands on the wet tiled ground with a thud and a small sticky splash.

"Seriously?" Daisuke asks. "I mean, I don't doubt that you ran into a psychic girl, but she had a message for us?"

"I REALLY don't think that this is work appropriate." Mae says.

"Who's the bitch?" Star asks.

"Hoji Mae, my new partner. Be nice, or I'll fine you." Yasuo says as he frees Daisuke.

"Thanks." Daisuke says as he goes to collect the trap. "Now, what was that message?"

"Oh..." Yasuo frowns. "Umm...the last daughter of Oiwa was already in the hotel with her mothers. Also, PAGAN is the key to negotiations with her."

"Seriously? Since when are psychic visions that clearly defined?" Sato asks.

"Well, I'm glad YOU can make sense of them, because they were gibberish to me. And I'll expect to see you all in our offices tomorrow for explanations and fining." Yasuo says.

"Fine." Daisuke says.

The trap fizzles and sparks but it holds tight and Fury's Ecto-plasmic form cannot break out.

"Sealed again, hmm?" A voice says.

"Who's that?" Yasuo asks.

"Long story." Star sighs. "Short version: Ghost can talk and talk and TALK but we've got her trapped."

"You know you cannot really 'trap' me." Fury says. "I'm older than the ziggurats, as old as the caves, and the fires that were inside them."

She sighs sadly. "But it seems that the time for me to flex my strength and burn a few effigies has passed. But it was a merry and exciting chase, and no shame in being caught by one's natural predators. 'A fair cop' as other lands would say."

"And BOY does she love to talk." Akira grumbles.

"Not that's she's wrong." Sato says. "I mean she's wrong about the burning and the berzerking and the death, but she's got some salient points regarding male/female cultural dynamics. Along with Japan's deplorable habits regarding sex."

"Hose Sato again." Akira says. "i think he's still possessed. OW! Joking!" He says to Star when she punches him.

Fury chuckles. "I do accept defeat Ghostbusters, but I think I'll hang around your lands for a bit. Not as a cry, but a whisper...like you asked?"

"No possessions or blood?" Daisuke says. "You'll just quietly deliver your complaints to the people and let us make our own damn choices?"

"I agree."

"Good, now be gone Fury. Bother us no more." Daisuke says.

And like that the presence vanishes.

"Does anyone want to explain to me what that was all about?" Yasuo asks.

"It's been a long day for us as well." Daisuke says. "And I think we all desperately need to shower this crap off."

"I'm doing it now." Star says.

"Agreed. This crap isn't going in YOMI." Akira says.

Yasuo shakes his head and heads for the outside. The Ghostbusters have been scolded and fined, and there's no manifestation at the moment. Best he can do is leave and see if Mae is up for that rabbit dinner she offered.

Speaking of Psychics we should really consider protection against enemy telepathic assaults, like the one Rage uses on men and women.

Slime works, but it's more of a cure than a protection. I mean, we can't just walk around soaked in Goo can we?

Oddly enough, the solution to this would be simple, if not comical: Tinfoil hats

Well, maybe not Tinfoil but any sort of lightweight material that works best for blocking the multiple forms of radiation.

PKE and most ghost energies register on the electro-magnetic spectrum, otherwise our nuclear technology would be worthless. Whatever would be able to block either particle radiation or electromagnetic radiation should suffice in stopping telepathic assaults.

A lot of this scene really bothers me:
1. Just trapping her ecto-plasmic manifestation but not actually trapping her whole? You don't have her "trapped" at all you just simply put her puppet form in a bag.

If she's talking it's a ghost unbusted, and a job not done.

2. She was a ghost who showed lethal intent and actually attempted to murder someone. You don't let that kind of ghost go because it says it'll leave you alone (could easily be lying)

Understanably, if they let her go so they could track her down with the Gold they made her promise to give and bust her true self for good then I have no problems, but they don't just let people attempt murder go because they say "lol, won't happen again" although, that also brings up our chinese vampires who actually are doing the same, but that's another thing
>>
Rolled 1

>>32746667
>>
>>32746889
Well, to be fair our chinese vampires are doing it because they have to in order to survive, and they're both doing the minimum needed. They're not engorging themselves or killing needlessly.

The PMS ghost pretty much was, which is why I was hoping she'd be wholely trapped. But there are a few spirits that are outright too powerful to trap I think, so she might be that.
>>
>>32747091
>But there are a few spirits that are outright too powerful to trap I think
Too powerful to trap, with a regular trap.
>>
>>32747091
>Well, to be fair our chinese vampires are doing it because they have to in order to survive, and they're both doing the minimum needed. They're not engorging themselves or killing needlessly.
Correct, but still though at what point between 50 years and 2 hours does it become acceptable to take away from someones life? 3 days? A week? A year?

But, as long as it's just a little kiss and a few hours, I can turn a blind eye to what technically is a form of murder. Cigarettes or fast food probably do much worse and they're completely legal.

> But there are a few spirits that are outright too powerful to trap I think, so she might be that.
That never stopped any Ghostbuster, not even the original. "We eat gods for breakfast"

To be fair, they blew both of them up.
>>
>>32747197
>>32747091
though I don't doubt some of them likely actually murdered people, as in outright draining them bam!dead, under their old leader. Whether it was centuries ago or a few months before we met them.

let's just call it a double standard, since at least they're corporeal and easier to put down when they lie
>>
>>32747298
They also Blew up Tiamat so that's three gods exploded, along with Ivo and Gozer (Twice. Who was leeching off Ivo's machinations anyway). Oh, and they cured Gozer's daughter of her god/demi-god powers.

Point still stands, we need to find her and stop her permanently whether she goes back to killing now or ten thousand years from now.
>>
>>32747308
I think only the one girl we got along with and the old man survived and the Old Man is heavily HEAVILY traditional.

"-isgrace to everything and everyone!" Yasuo hears Mae talking. "You're just giving in and obeying? Tell me you're just stringing them along. Tell me you're planning on burning their home to the ground. Tell me that you're doing anything but what you're doing!"

Yasuo hangs back so he can hear this.

"I'm doing exactly that." That female voice from before says. "Because I wish to still exist. I wish blood, but I also wish justice. I can live with the conditions they laid down. If I fight them, then I would be destroyed for real, and then who would protect those that need me?"

"You are BOWING to MORTALS and letting them ORDER you!" Mae snaps. "You are a Primal! You are beyond their little traps and made-up knowledge! You ARE something that is to be feared!"

"And YOU are a prideful sociopath, like the rest of your kind." Fury says disdainfully. "They are the hunters of Fear. In time, I will get to reign and burn again. Blood will spill, with or without me...and they are mortals. They will eventually pass. Just as you said. I am a Primal. I can stand to 'be on probation' for a century. It's why I have lasted for nearly 6000 years, and why YOUR kind has burnt tails and singed ears."

"Watch. Your. Tone. Bitch." Mae growls. "The Bloodiest Night is coming, and it will start here and it will spread. Humans will lose their fire and their light, and crawl back into the shadows. Stories will change BACK to warnings of death and terror. Oiwa will wipe it all away, until there is naught but fear. We will remember those who bent the knee, who took on mortal ways, and thought that they knew better. That they could be 'friends' with the light. We will remember, and our teeth are sharp."

"Do you honestly listen to yourself when you are talking like that? You sound ridiculous, Tamamo-no-Mae. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some productive work to do. I sense rape victims who need to get angry enough that they talk themselves out of suicide."

In his apartment. In his bed. It's 11am.

Mae walks into his room. She's only wearing a shirt...one of Yasuo's shirts.

Mae smiles at him. "I made a little breakfast. Not much, just eggs and toast. I also sent a text so her Ladyship thinks that we're both nursing Ghostbuster related wounds." She giggles. "She's more than happy to get excuses to give THEM grief."

"Okay..." Yasuo says. His mind is a little foggy, he remembers something...going out to have a drink with Mae after work...maybe?

His mental train is derailed by Mae climbing onto the bed and getting on her hands and knees. "Although, if you'd like...we can forget breakfast..." She grins at Yasuo.

"Will you do what I ask, little boy?" She asks coyly. "Make me happy, and let me make YOU happy?"

Yasuo nods and a dreamy smile slips over his face. "Yes...anything..."

"Good boy!" Mae says as she cuddles up next to the man. "And when we're done here, we can go have a nice lunch. I'm in an open mood...we can have Rabbit, Chinese, Modern American-Fusion, or even Babalyonian..."

"Anything I can sink my teeth into."
