Thread 2: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/32815871/

In Skyfall Quest 1, the sky cracked and fell in pieces. These pieces turned into random things with special powers.

You are Brenna McCloud, a former storm cloud who saved a plane and boned a reporter named Joana.

In Skyfall Quest 2, you found New York City in chaos, and took down some armed thugs. You also saved a man in glasses from some further thugs, and brought him back to Jo's house for medical attention.

In addition, you met Jo's neighbors, James and Melissa Pond, and discover that Joana is a superhero fanatic.
>>
"I guess I should explain all this huh?" says Joana, looking around the room herself, at the superhero merchandise covering every wall. "It's just… I've always loved superheroes. The idea that someone could be given all that power, and would choose to use it to help people? To save people?"

She's silent for a moment, then gives you a warm, appreciative smile. "And then there's you. I mean, you are quite literally my every dream come true. I can't even imagine what it must have been like for you, suddenly just existing, but pretty much the moment you come into existence, your first thought is to risk your life to save an entire airplane full of people. And that's why you're amazing. And that's…"

You look into her eyes. "Jo…"

Suddenly she gets up, stretching her arms over her head. "I don't know about you, but I've been up for almost twenty-four hours, and I am all kinds of pooped. Could you watch this guy while I sleep?"

You're a bit thrown by the sudden change of conversation, but you nod. "I'm not very tired. I guess that comes with only having existed for a few hours. You go ahead."

"Thanks," she says, giving you a quick kiss before heading off to her bedroom.

----

You spend the time waiting for the bespectacled man to wake up exploring Joana's apartment, looking through her comics book collection, and browsing the internet for more on what people are now calling the "Skyfall Incident". It looks as though people have finally settled on a difference between the two kinds of black and white artifacts, with smoky black being lightning and shiny black being water, and fluffy white being transformation/wind and bluish white being ice.

You also spend some time looking at the man, wondering who he is. You note that he seems somewhat muscled, although not quite to Joana's level. You would even describe him as quite cute, though his angular cheekbones give him a more severe appearance.
>>
A bit over an hour later, the bespectacled man finally rouses, groaning as he wakes. He looks around in confusion, then waves a bit when he sees you.

"You doing okay?" you ask, helping him to sit up.

"I'll live," he says, wincing a bit as you maneuver him to an armchair. He looks around the room expectantly. "If you don't mind my asking, what happened to the other woman? Jo, was it?"

"Joana," you correct, "and she's sleeping right now."

"Ah, good," he says, seeming genuinely relieved. "I wouldn't want anybody to be hurt on my behalf. Arthur McGrath, by the way."

Arthur extends a hand, and you shake it. "Brenna McCloud," you say.

He nods. "Um, you wouldn't happen to have my sword, would you?"

You head over and pull his shiny black sword out of the bag, noticing that the area it was lying in is already quite damp. You decide that it's safe to give the sword back to him, due to both his injury and your lightning powers. Besides, he did quite possibly save your life. You figure you owe him a bit of trust.

"Ah, thanks," he says, taking the sword. "This sword here has gotten me through quite a bit. Though I was in quite a bit of a mess there, wasn't I?" He trails off, chuckling humorlessly.

You consider what to do. You could simply comfort him. Although you have noticed his looks for a while, and could "comfort" him in a different way as well. Then again, don't you have something going on with Joana? Alternatively, you could try visiting her next door neighbors. They seem quite nice.

What will you do?

>Comfort Arthur.
>"Comfort" Arthur.

see if we can make breakfast or something, everything of course shaped like clouds, cloud pancakes, cloud waffles etc, but all subconsciously
>>
>>32835581 here again

in regards to going down 'that' path with Arthur, lets not for now, we've got something going on with Jo, lets let it develop and see how things go before considering such things

My vote's for this and
>Comfort Arthur
We're barely even human, it doesn't need to be all sex all the time. And Jo would cry, probably.

>We're barely even human, it doesn't need to be all sex all the time. And Jo would cry, probably.
yeah, lets restrict sexytimes to only with Jo for now
>>
"Hey," you say, "don't worry. Why don't you stick with Jo and I, and the three of us can have each others' backs."

Arthur seems to cheer up a bit at that. "Well, you know what they say. Three eyes are better than one. Or… something along those lines."

You chuckle as you get back up. You suddenly feel a bit hungry, which makes sense given that you haven't actually eaten anything since you came into being.

You glance at Joana's wall clock, which reads 8:17 PM. Yet for some reason you feel like having breakfast instead. Ah well, with the sun gone, it's not as if the day and night cycle has any meaning anyways.

"I'm making pancakes," you say as you begin bustling around in Joana's kitchen. "Do you want some?"

"That would be wonderful, thanks," says Arthur from the couch.

Luckily, the pancake mix is quite simple to prepare, and before long you have a stack of pancakes to bring back into the living room. You hand a plate and utensils to Arthur, and start to dig in.

"Ah," he says, looking down at the pancakes. "Cloud shaped. How appropriate."

You look down in surprise, then flush a bit when you realize that you had accidentally made all of the pancakes cloud shaped. "Um, yeah," you say, chuckling. "Because of the sky and all."

Your pseudo-breakfast passes fairly uneventfully, though you are feeling quite a bit fuller once you're done. Quite a bit more energetic as well.

Well, you still have quite some time before Joana wakes up. What will you do?

>Talk to Arthur, and tell him about your journey with Joana so far. (Specify whether to tell him about being a cloud.)

You decide that you may as well tell Arthur everything, if he's going to be a member of your little party.

"So," you begin, "you know how all this stuff is falling from the sky and turning into different things?"

Arthur raises his eyebrows, then lifts up his sword.

"Right, dumb question. Well, the point is, what if one of those things that the sky pieces turned into was a human?"

Arthur is silent for a moment. "I'm… not sure exactly what you're getting at?"

You take a deep breath. "I'm a storm cloud. Or was. I might still be, I don't know how this kind of thing works."

"Ah," says Arthur. "And that would be the source of that electricity thing you did earlier?"

"Yeah," you say. You tell him about how you saved the plane and met Joana, but leave out the bit about the "private" interview. "So how about you? What's the story with that sword of yours?"

He shrugs. "There isn't much to say, really. I've always been a fan of medieval weaponry. I've even participated in a few mock tournaments at the renaissance fair. So when the sky started falling and everybody started getting attacked, I count myself lucky that I was able to find this sword to defend myself with."

He looks at the sword appreciatively. "I didn't find out about its water powers until later, when some man with a grey colored trumpet started blowing fire at me. This sword has gotten me through a lot of difficult encounters in the last few hours." he grins. "I even managed to put out a fire in an apartment building earlier, though it's nothing on all the lives you've saved."

You shake your head. "It's not about the amount saved, but just the fact that you made an effort to help people that matters."

Your stories done, you check the wall clock again. It's been only about two and a quarter hours since Joana went to sleep. What will you do?

"I'm going to go visit the neighbors," you say. "Will you be alright here?"

Arthur shrugs, gesturing to the bookcases full of comic books that fill Joana's apartment. "I certainly won't be lacking reading materials."

You nod, then head out of the apartment, cross the hall, and knock on the door.

The door opens a bit, and the female head pokes out. You're pretty sure her name is Melissa.

"Oh hey," she says, smiling. "You're that friend of Jo's, right? Come in." You hear her sliding open a bolt, then the door opens wide.

The inside of the apartment is quite a contrast from Joana's neatly organized Superhero collection. The first thing that you notice is the multitude of broken electronics, circuit boards, and wires that litter the apartment, with caseless microwaves and cannibalized microwaves here and there. The second thing you notice is the clothes that are lying everywhere, even all over the bare electronics. You quickly begin to wonder whether that's a fire hazard, before noticing the burn marks along the walls and the fire extinguishers that lie about the apartment. So that's a yes then.

In the center of it all stands Melissa, who is clad in just a black tank top and some jeans. Yet somehow, she makes all that look good. You're certain her very generous assets help there. Almost unconsciously, you shift your own breasts up a size or two. You aren't sure where the other one, James you think, is though.

"So," says Melissa, suddenly getting up in your face. "Who are you to Joana? And who was that guy you two brought back earlier?"

"Ah, um…" you jump back, a bit flustered. "I'm… um…" You really should discuss your relationship with Joana at some point. "Her girlfriend, I think?"
>>
"Ah," Melissa says, standing back to look at you. You can't help but feel that her gaze is quite predatory. After a few seconds, Melissa whistles. "Well, I have to say, Joana got a nice catch for a first timer. So what about that other guy? You guys banging too?"

"No," you quickly respond. "Jo and I rescued him on the street. He was injured, so we brought him back to treat his injury."

Melissa smiles. "Well, thanks for taking care of Joana. She can be a bit impulsive at times, so I wasn't sure if she'd be alright through all this."

You nod. "So, I was just wondering how you two are doing, what with the sky falling and all."

Melissa grins. "Well, I've been alright, but James is having a blast. He's been in his workroom almost nonstop since a few hours ago." She gestures to the electronics littering the apartment. "He's a bit of a tinkerer, as you can probably see, and these new "Sky Artifacts" have given him an entire new avenue to explore."

Suddenly, a voice calls out from the side room. "Mel, come here and look at this! I've built a hoverboard!"

"In a sec, James," Melissa calls back. "We've got company over, why don't you come say hi?"

James sticks his head out from the side room, and you see that he's wearing welding goggles and light blue gloves. "Oh," he says, "who's this?"

"Jo's new girlfriend," Melissa says. "You saw her earlier, remember?"

"I did? Oh, you're the one who was carrying the guy with Jo!" He pulls off one glove and holds his hand out to you. "The name's Pond," he says, then realizes he should clarify. "James Pond."

"Brenna McCloud," you say, taking his hand.

"Oh, and I'm Melissa Pond," says Melissa. "I forgot to mention that earlier."

"So you two are… siblings?" you guess.

"Fraternal twins," responds James, "though Melissa will insist that she's older just because she was born a few seconds earlier."

"I at least act older, you prat," she says, smacking him on the head. "So what's all this about a hoverboard?"
>>
"Ah," he says, rushing back to his side room while you and Melissa follow him. The side room is even more of a mess than the living room, but seems to be taken up exclusively by electronics. His work table is covered exclusively in sky artifact electronics, and he seems to have a ridiculous amount of kitchen appliances of every sort stashed away in here.

James beckons the two of you over, and gestures to a feathered board that is hovering a few inches above his desk. "Voila," he says, "the hoverboard!"

Melissa raises an eyebrow, skeptical. "So does it actually support any weight?"

James deflates a bit. "Well no, not yet, but that comes later. First, let me show you this!" He heads over to a grey microwave that's to the side of his work table. "So, you know how they're saying that these artifacts are indestructible?"

You and Melissa both nod.

"Well," he says, "that's not exactly true. See, look." He turns the microwave on, and instead of the normal spinning dish, instead a fire lights within the microwave box. He raises his voice above the roaring of the flames. "Every appliance has circuitry exactly like that of a normal appliance, but somehow they all do something slightly different. A water toaster just makes the bread soggy, an ice mixer freezes whatever it's mixing, and a fire microwave," he gestures to the microwave, which he has now opened.

"Now, watch this!" He grabs a blue pipe length from the side and feeds the end of it into the microwave flame. After a few minutes, he takes it out, and you can see that the metal is drooping and melting. He shuts off the microwave and dips the blue pipe into a shiny black mixer bowl. "It looks like the only thing that can destroy or affect an artifact is another artifact!"
>>
You nod in appreciation. That's some very useful information. Then Melissa speaks up. "So how does this relate to the hoverboard?"

James nods and presents the board. "So I had some feathered metal sheets, but I needed to mold one into a specific shape, so I used the fire microwave over there to forge a sheet into this board shape, along with putting a few indentations along the bottom." He flips the board, where a series of small and smoky black fans are. "These fans are somehow able to run without being plugged in, so I stuck a few of these in, turned them on, and voila! Hoverboard!"

Melissa claps appreciatively, actually looking quite impressed for all her skepticism earlier. James bows, then puts his hoverboard back on the table. "Now then, time to see if I can pump up these fans!"

It looks like James is going back to his work, and Melissa is heading back into the main room. If you have something to talk to James about, you should probably do it now.

>Talk to James about something. (Please specify.)

>Other.
Try to 'pump up these fans' by giving them a bit of a shock with our lighning, then go see Melissa and see what the situation is like in regards to supplies and amenities.

And get a good look at Melissa's 'assets', maybe brush against them, then comment to Jo about them and see what she thinks
>>
>>32836613
>Talk to James about something.
>What else has he found out about these artifacts?

>>32836601
>It looks like the only thing that can destroy or affect an artifact is another artifact!
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE.
>>
"So," you begin, "have you found out anything else about the artifacts?"

James looks up briefly, as if he had forgotten you were there. "Oh yeah, tons of stuff!" He seems very enthusiastic about showing you what he knows.

"So first things first," he says, "you know all of the type indicators, right?" You nod, so he goes on. "Well, all of the smokey grey electronics, that's lightning, run entirely without being plugged in. I've managed to pull a couple of lightning batteries out of things, and they work exactly like normal batteries, except they never get depleted! This could revolutionize the entire electric industry."

You think that the electric industry probably has better things to worry about right now, but you concede the point.

"Now, here's something that's less useful than it is just cool." He takes off his blue gloves and grabs a couple of smoky black drumsticks. When he taps them together, you're almost blown away by how loud the click is. "Boom, right? Some lightning things are weird like this, and amplify sounds when they're hit against each other," he says. "But only some things. Like if I tapped the a lightning toaster with this…" he does so, and it produces only the normal tap that you'd expect. "No boom."

"Now this is helpful as well as interesting," he says, bringing the shiny black bowl you saw earlier over, "the water in this bowl was created by that black electric mixer over there." He points it out. "I've been analyzing this, and it looks and acts exactly like normal water in every way. It's even safe to drink! The only difference is, only water created by an artifact will put out fires when they're being produced by a fire artifact. But get this, only the fire that's actually spouting from a fire artifact can't be put out. If it spreads to something else, it's just normal fire, and can be put out normally."

"That's pretty much all I have at this point," he says, sitting back down at this desk. "Anything else?"
>>
You think about this for a moment, then get an idea. "Let me see that hoverboard for a second," you say. He looks confused, but hands the board over. Gathering some electricity in your hands, you push it into the fans along the bottom of the board, which suddenly start spinning ridiculously fast. Letting the board go, it stays hovering there in midair for almost a minute before slowly lowering back down to the ground.

"Whoa," says James, looking at you in shock and awe. "How did you do that?"

You grin. "I'm kind of an artifact myself," you admit.

James takes this in, then his eyes widen. "You've got to let me look at your body!" he says, leaping out of his seat.

"Whoa there Cassanova." You turn to see Melissa poking her head around the corner. "I don't know what you two are up to in here, but the lovely lady right there is taken. By Jo."

"What? Our Jo?" James suddenly looks sad for a moment, then his eyes light up again. "We can talk about that later, Melissa, you've got to see this! Brenna here's a artifact!"

"The correct term is 'Luddite', James," Melissa says, coming over. "I've told you that already."

"No, I mean," James grabs his hoverboard off of the ground. "Brenna, here. Do that thing you did earlier, with the lightning!"

Melissa only raises an eyebrow when you do your thing. "So you meant that literally," she finally says. "There's got to be a better name for her than artifact though. How about Skychild?"

You shrug. "As far as I know, there's only one human artifact, me, but that sounds like a good enough name to me." You suddenly remember what you came over here for in the first place. "So Melissa, what's you guys' situation in terms of food and stuff? Joana's got a big refrigerator, but it's only meant to support one."
>>
Melissa actually looks a bit embarrassed at this. "Um, well we mostly order food deliveries, but I guess that's out for now. James has a whole bunch of snack food that he eats while he's working, but well…" she trails off awkwardly. "To tell you the truth, I was almost considering breaking into Jo's apartment earlier. Could you guys possibly lend us some food, just for now?"

You consider what to do. It isn't really your place to offer Joana's food to them, but you don't want them to starve. What will you do?

>Say yes.
>Say no.
>Ask if you can wait until Joana wakes up to answer.

>>Other.
Say yes but only small amounts to keep them going for now, we'll organize getting supplies for all of us once Jo is awake
>>
>>32836940
"Well I can't really just decide that for Jo, now can I? I'd be for it, though."
>>
"Well," you hesitate. "I can't really decide that for Jo. It's her food, after all." Melissa still looks worried, so you add, "why don't I give you some of the pancakes I made earlier, and when Jo wakes up I'll explain all this to her. I'm sure she'll understand."

Melissa exhales, like she's been holding in a breath. "Thank you," she says, giving you a hug. Your eyes widen a bit as her breasts press against yours. "And Brenna," she whispers in your ear, "if you and Joana ever want to spice things up, I'm always available. I wasn't exaggerating when I said that you're a great catch earlier." She releases you and steps back, all grins.

You're somewhat dazed for a moment, then you manage to swallow and nod, heading back to Joana's apartment. You make a quick delivery of the remaining pancakes, then return to the living room.

"Did the visit go well?" Arthur asks from the armchair, where he's reading "Batman, the Ultimate Anthology".

"I guess?" you say. "I mean, I think Melissa was hitting on me, so there's that."

"Ah," says Arthur, nodding. "Well, that's certainly something. Although you do seem to have increase a couple of cup sizes since I last saw you."

You look down, then flush a bit as you shapeshift your breasts back to their former proportions. "I'm going to head to bed. Do you need any help with anything?"

"I'll be fine," he says. "You go ahead."

You smile appreciatively, and head to the bedroom, where Joana is sleeping. You quietly open the door and lie down next to Joana in the bed, pulling the cover over the two of you. Rousing slightly when you lie down, Joana turns and throws her arms around you, a light smile on her face. Lying there, cuddling with her, you quickly fall asleep.
