On the day of your final trial, you woke up and went to the library. Finally reporting to your overseer, you learned that your only remaining rival, Talgur, had been sent ahead since you took so long to arrive. You were told that your final trial would be to enter the Tomb of Naga Sadow and explore a recently discovered chamber. You were to find something of value and return to the Academy. Moving quickly to the Tomb, you decided to ignore the new chamber for some reason and go deeper into the tomb. You quickly changed your mind and entered the chamber, only to find Talgur waiting for you. As you prepared to face your rival, you discovered that he was not alone. Nall, an acolyte you had previously tortured and believed dead, revealed himself to be working with Talgur. The three of you engaged in an intense duel, with the advantage switching multiple times. You were nearly destroyed several times by their combined powers, but managed to separate them, and eventually tormented Nall into submission. You and Talgur continued to fight fiercely, and you soon found yourself on your back with Talgur leaping to deliver a killing blow. Thinking quickly, you used the force to slam him into the ceiling. This, along with him crashing to the floor soon after, left him disarmed and badly wounded. You tormented both he and Nall briefly before killing them both. Searching the corpses, you found a thousand credits and a strange tablet on Talgur. Investigating a sarcophagus in the center of the chamber, you retrieved a pyramid shaped object, and then fled as a wave of dark side energy summoned a Tarentatek. Returning to the academy, you met your new master, Lord Velas. She quickly demonstrated disgust towards you and made quite a few insults towards you and your race. Nevertheless, she decided that she would make due with you, and instructed you to go to Nal Hutta and contact her there. Before doing so, however, you spent a bit of private time with the apprentice Veelna Mal.

>Welcome to Sith Quest

Here is the basic layout. Decisions will be made by voting on various options. Whichever option has the most votes after ten minutes is the winner. All votes are final, so choose wisely. Also, you can add some dialogue to your vote, if you wish. During combat, if you want to say something, just type what you want to say with your vote. During conversations, if multiple people supply different dialogue, I will combine as many as I can so long as they do not contradict one another, in order to avoid a conversation taking several hours.

>Important

The combat system will be dice based and use a d100 system. In order to succeed in those options, one out of the first three rolls must be equal to or greater than the specified number. However, if a number of 4 or lower is rolled in the first three, then whatever you were attempting will go very badly. On the other hand, if a number of 96 or higher is rolled in the first five, then whatever you are attempting will go very well unless a roll of 4 or below occurred in the first three.

Rolls will not occur until the voting time is up and the option for a particular roll has won

You and Veelna exit the room the two of you have occupied for the last several hours. Some acolytes throw curious looks your way, but none dare to say anything, and they all eventually go back to their own business. Veelna turns to you, smirking.

"Well, I'd say that takes care of celebrating your success in the trials," she tells you. "Congratulations again. and best of luck; you'll have much more dangerous enemies than acolytes now. The Republic and Jedi will be a constant danger, and, depending on who your master is, fellow Sith will too."

You decide to stop at the medcenter before departing. You and Veelna say goodbye to one another before you depart, making your way through the academy until you reach the familiar room. As always, CH-4N has something to say upon your arrival.

"Ah, and here I thought I might go a day without having to treat one of your injuries," he comments as he approaches you. "So, what have you foolishly allowed to happen to you this time? Did you trip over a pebble and crack your head open? No, your head is far too thick for that; though the purpose of protecting the empty space where your brain should be eludes me. Did you accidentally castrate yourself with a spoon? Please say yes; I enjoy imagining you in pain and it will soothe my mind to know that there is no possibility of you procreating."

He suddenly grows silent and stares at you, tilting your head to the side. "Wait a moment; you did not really castrate yourself with a spoon. Oh, why must you torment me by crushing my dreams? Given what I have seen of you after each instance in which you have experienced combat, your combat skills are more or less equivalent to your mental faculties; that is to say, non existent. However, I am more than happy to kill you."

His eyes flash, and his chassis opens to reveal a pair of blaster pistols, which he promptly removes, taking aim at you with both as his chassis closes. The door to the medcenter slams shut behind you, and the lights go off.

As blaster bolts begin shooting towards you from across the room, you draw your vibroblades and prepare to deflect them. You succeed in deflecting one....but the next five hit you in your arms and chest.

You fall backwards against the door, the blades falling from your grip. You hear the sound of CH-4N moving across the room towards you, and he soon comes close enough for you to see him.

"You managed to deflect a single shot," he observes. "Perhaps your combat skills are slightly more impressive than I had anticipated. Switching combat rating from "Dead Womp Rat" to "Terminally ill Gungan". Congratulations. Now, in light of this change in status, you will receive a gift."

As the droid casually searches for something or other, you feel anger rising inside of you. After everything you've done, all of the challenges you've overcome, this medical droid is not going to destroy you.

Drawing on your hatred, you call on the force, and thrust your arm towards the droid. There is a loud crash, which you assume comes as a result of the droid slamming into something. You hear the crackle of electricity and CH-4N's voice.

"Ex-excessive damage-damage sustained," he announces. "Motor functions, offli-offline. Memory failure: imminent. Emergency shutdown initializing in five...four...three....two...one. Shutting down."

CH-4N goes silent, and you are left badly injured and alone, in a dark, sealed off room. You take a moment to decide your next move. Should you search for a way out, or a way to turn the lights on? Should you heal your injuries first?

Before you do anything else, you need to heal your injuries. Calling on the force, you will your flesh to mend, for your blaster burns to heal. The force heeds your call, and you quickly find yourself feeling as good as new, not even the slightest ache to remind you of your near-death experience.

The room remains silent, and you decide what to do next. Obviously, you need to find your way out of the room, but there is more than one way to go about doing that. You could search for a light control; being able to see would make things far easier, and there would be a better chance of you recovering the droid without being noticed. However, it might be faster and easier to simply destroy the door and flee before the Dark Honor Guards arrive.

You figure that the best course of action is to get some light in the room before doing anything else. You get to your feet and fumble around on the wall, your hands coming to the door panel. Pushing buttons randomly in the dark, you eventually manage to turn the lights back on and open the door. Finally able to see, you take a look around the room.

You can see that you've made quite a mess in your battle with CH-4N. Medical equipment and surgical tools litter the floor, as does the body of the medical droid. The damage does look pretty severe, as its head is barely attached. You could take the droid and get it repaired, but getting it out of the academy could be a problem. Do you risk it, or do you just go and go as your master has commanded, and travel to Nal Hutta?

After all the trouble you went through trying to get this droid to go with you, it seems a waste to leave it behind now.

You cross the room and pick the droid up, carrying it carefully so as to make sure that it does not sustain any more damage. The repair bill on this thing will likely be bad enough as it is. You calmly exit the room, doing your best to not draw attention to yourself as you make your way through the academy towards the entrance. Some of the Dark Honor Guards eye you curiously, but make no actual moves to stop you.

In the distance, you see a shuttle landing, and quickly figure out that that must be the location of the shuttle pad. Moving quickly, you make your way to the pad, where an Imperial Trooper informs you that the shuttle will take you to the Imperial Fleet's Space Station ; Vaiken Spacedock. He goes on to informs you that shuttles to Nal Hutta leave there regularly, and that you should have no problem getting transport to your destination.

As the trooper said, the flight takes about a day. Nobody says much, so you're pretty much stuck sitting in silence the whole trip. Also, you soon discover that the shuttle does not have a fresher. So, all in all, it is not a very fun trip.

When the shuttle arrives, it sets down in a massive hangar. Everyone else immediately makes for an elevator leading to the main floor of the station, but you overhear a man announcing that the transport to Nal Hutta is about to depart. Do you take the shuttle, or wait for the next one?

>A. Take the shuttle; delaying on your master's orders might not be wise

>B Go explore the station and catch the next flight
>>
>>32848333
Oh hey, we still have that holocron, right? Just gave the tablet to master maybe.

Should spend some time examining it when we get some time alone on our trip.

Depends when the next flight is really. Next week? We leave now. Tomorrow? We can maybe find repairs for CH-4N.

You decide that it would be unwise to delay on something that you master instructed you to do. With that in mind, you board the shuttle to Nal Hutta. It is another day long flight, full of silent passengers and a noticeable absence of any fresher.

This time, when your shuttle arrives, it does so on a large landing pad in a busy spaceport. As you disembark and head down the ramp, a green skinned Rodian runs up to you.

"Greetings, my lord Sith," he greets with a bow, luckily doing so when the shuttle passengers are gone. "Your master asked me to deliver this to you."

He hands you a holocommuninicator, which blinks repeatedly, indicating that you have a message.

"Your master told me it would probably be best for you to view the message somewhere private," the Rodian tells you. "It's very important. She also asked that I be there with you when you view the message, so you can give me further instructions."

>A. Ask him if he knows a place to view the message

Same here. She thought we were weak, so this message probably orders this dude to try and kill us.

We should be prepared.
>>
>>32848998
I'm not sure she'd waste resources so blithely. If she wanted a suicide mission, it would probably be with more significant damage to another person she didn't like.

"What is your name?" you ask the Rodian.

"Zeedo, my Lord," he replies.

"And how did you come to work for my master, Zeedo?" you ask.

"She came here a few weeks ago, and said that she'd be sending an apprentice soon. She gave me this message to give to them. Then, two days ago, I got a transmission from her telling me to expect you soon and telling me what you looked like," he explains.

"And, do you know a place to view this message?" you ask.

"We can go to my place," he tells you. "Less crowded then a Cantina, and there's no risk of the owner spying, since I'm the owner!"

You agree to go to his house, and he leads you out of the spaceport. You find yourself looking at a large town with a Hutt palace at its edge.

"Welcome to Jiguuna," Zeedo tells you as he leads you towards his home, and the details of your mission.

I wasn't aware the details of our mission were a physical location.

Good thread OP, glad that we've finally moved past the academy. We've got to spend that mad dosh we have on some armour or something, given how injury prone we are.

Serious question: Did you expect us to survive to the second act with the choices we have been making?
