After slaughtering your remaining rivals in a vicious duel within the Tomb of Naga Sadow, you finally rose from an acolyte to an apprentice of the Sith Order. However, upon meeting your master, you realized things are far from perfect. Your new master, Lord Velas, immediately displayed a high level of distaste towards you, and aliens in general. Despite repeatedly insulting you and expressing the belief that you would not survive long, she nonetheless decided to make use of you. She instructed you to go to the world of Nal Hutta for your first assignment. Before departing, you spoke to the Sith Apprentice Veelna Mal, and the two of you had a little private celebration of your success in your trials. You then went to the medcenter, and demanded that the medical droid CH-4N come with you. He refused, and locked down the medcenter. Drawing hidden blasters, he managed to badly wound and incapacitate you. However, you unleashed a mighty force attack that disabled the droid, caused a memory failure, and an emergency shutdown. Healing your wounds with the force and taking the disabled droid with you, you departed Korriban, and took a shuttle from the Imperial Fleet to Nal Hutta. At the spaceport in the town of Jiguuna, a Rodian who claimed to work for your master arrived. He informed you that he possessed her instructions for you, and now the two of you go to his dwelling, where your mission will be revealed.

>Welcome to Sith Quest

Here is the basic layout. Decisions will be made by voting on various options. Whichever option has the most votes after ten minutes is the winner. All votes are final, so choose wisely. Also, you can add some dialogue to your vote, if you wish. During combat, if you want to say something, just type what you want to say with your vote. During conversations, if multiple people supply different dialogue, I will combine as many as I can so long as they do not contradict one another, in order to avoid a conversation taking several hours.

>Important

The combat system will be dice based and use a d100 system. In order to succeed in those options, one out of the first three rolls must be equal to or greater than the specified number. However, if a number of 4 or lower is rolled in the first three, then whatever you were attempting will go very badly. On the other hand, if a number of 96 or higher is rolled in the first five, then whatever you are attempting will go very well unless a roll of 4 or below occurred in the first three.

Rolls will not occur until the voting time is up and the option for a particular roll has won

>THIS IS A CHALLENGING QUEST, AND BAD DECISIONS WILL GET YOU KILLED.

As you follow Zeedo down the streets of Jiguuna, you take the time to observe your surroundings.

For one thing, the air is, quite simply, not clean. You're not sure how the people of this town can live here without getting sick and/or dying. You also notice that pretty much everybody you see is armed. Many of the citizens you see, glance around nervously as they go about their business, and you can practically taste the collective fear emanating off of them. From the sounds of blaster fire you hear in the distance, you're able to guess that violence is common in this town, and that the fear of these people if likely justified.

However, you do notice that many people look unafraid. A few of them appear to be civilians, but others are more heavily armed, and often travelling in groups. In all likelihood, they work for whoever lives in that Hutt Palace at the edge of town.

You see a fidgety looking Arcona pass a human locked in conversation with a couple of Gamorreans . The human's eyes follow the Arcona, and he gestures to his companions, who immediately rush up behind the small alien and grab him by his arms. The two carry the Arcona, who kicks his legs wildly and screams loudly, into a nearby alleyway. The human follows, and a few moments later, you hear a single blaster shot, and then silence.

Zeedo does not seem bothered by the commotion, or really to even notice it. He simply walks in silence until the two of you reach a small building. He presses a button, the door slides open, and the two of you stroll inside. The room you find yourself in isn't much to look at, only occupied by a table and a pair of chairs. Zeedo takes a seat in one of the chairs, and puts his feet up on the table.

You remain standing, still wary of treachery. Zeedo stares at you for a moment before simply shrugging and leaning back, waiting for you to listen to your message. Taking out the holocommunicator he gave you as the spaceport, you play the message that it has recorded.

A small holographic image of Lord Velas appears atop the communicator. "Greetings, apprentice. Welcome to Nal Hutta. This world is known throughout the galaxy for being filthy and disgusting, and having inhabitants to match. The town you are in is known as Jiguuna. Shortly before the current war between the Empire and the Republic began, Imperial Intelligence took an interest in this town more than any other on the planet. The reason for that interest was due to the great industrial capabilities of Jiguuna and the surrounding factories. Gaining the loyalty of the town's ruler, Nem'ro the Hutt, provided the Empire with adrenals, stims, drugs, weapons, droids, and mercenaries. However, Nem'ro the Hutt was murdered sometime after, and his lieutenant, Toth'lazhen took over the town. With Nem'ro dead, other crimelords and gangsters began to make bids for control over the town and the surrounding area. Normally, the Hutt Cartel would have stepped in, but Toth'lazhen has not made himself any friends among them. Being a Twi'lek instead of a Hutt, many in the Cartel do not believe he should rule the town. In addition, during the recent events on Makeb, many of the Cartel's leaders swore allegiance to the Republic. Toth'lazhen refused to do so, further alienating himself from the Cartel. The Empire no longer controls Jiguuna with Nem'ro dead, and with the current power struggle, we are given a magnificent opportunity. Your mission is to take control of Jiguuna, and the surrounding area, including the Rust Yards and the former palace of Fa'athra the Hutt. I do not care how you go about doing so, but I want control. In the end, you can rule remotely or place a servant in comman-

Do not fail me, apprentice. Oh, and one more thing. I instructed a Rodian named Zeedo to deliver this message to you. He is no longer of any use to me, and could prove a liability due to his knowledge of your presence here. Kill him."

The image vanishes, and Veedo falls from the table and out of his chair, scrambling backwards. "Wait, Sith! Please don't kill me! I can help you! I know a lot about this town and the gangs in it. I'll help you take over, give you any information I can! Please, I'm more useful alive!"

Holding out your hands towards the cowarding Rodian, you unleash a torrent of lightning. The bolts flash across the room and engulf the Zeedo, causing him to writhe in agony on the floor as he slowly roasts alive.

"No, no, no, no! Please, stop! Please!" he screams.

His pleas fall on deaf ears, as you continue to pour lightning from your fingertips and into his body. His flesh burns, the smell filling the room as his screams begin to die down. Soon, he is nothing but a charred corpse on the ground.

You take a moment to consider your next move. With Zeedo dead you have eliminated the only person on this planet who knows why you are here. In addition, his house can now be used as a base of operations, or at least a place for you to sleep. You have just under three thousand credits, a broken droid, two vibroblades, a pyramid shaped object, a blaster, and a holocommunicator. You have your assignment. Now, you have to decide how to begin.

Considering the nature of your mission, you figure that it might be wise to have a medic available. Besides, carrying around a broken droid could prove to be a hindrance.

Picking CH-4N up, you depart Zeedo's house and begin wandering Jiguuna. You ask a few people where you can find a good droid mechanic, and are soon directed to a small shop not far from your new house. Going inside, you ask the shopkeeper about repairing your droid.

He examines CH-4N for a minute before looking back to you. "Oh, sure; I can fix this up. The damage is pretty bad, but I've dealt with worse. For a thousand credits, I can have him up and running as good as new in about an hour."

You agree to the price, and the shopkeeper immediately sets to work. You wait around his shop as he works tirelessly to repair the considerable damage you've done to the droid. When the time comes, he alerts you before activating the droid.

The droid looks at the shopkeeper. "Greetings master, I am medical droid CH-4N."

"I ain't your master, droid, he is," the shopkeeper tells CH-4N, pointing to you.

"Greetings master, I am CH-4N", your droid tells you."My primary function is to provide medical attention. However, I am also equipped for combat situations, and am armed with-strange, my chassis-stored blaster pistols appear to be missing."

He turns to look at the shopkeeper. "Did you remove my blasters? They were supposed to be in there you organic simpleton! Did you think I ate them or something?"

"I don't like your droid's attitude," the shopkeeper grumbles.

"And I don't like your work," CH-4N replies. "When repairing a droid, it is generally not good practice to leave them with less parts than they came in with!"

"How did you know that you underwent repairs?" you ask CH-4N.

"Well, master, this is clearly not a factory, and if I were being activated for the first time, I would not be missing my blasters," he responds. "Please explain to me how you allowed me to be damaged and why you allowed this clearly idiotic human to steal my blasters while I was deactivated."

"Watch what you say, droid," the shopkeeper warns.

"Or what, you'll shoot me with my own blasters?" CH-4N asks. "Please, do attempt to draw them and shoot me; it will be so much easier to rip them from your hands and beat you to death slowly with them than it would to search your grease-covered clothing and fat corpse after I simply strangled you before you even attempted to draw a weapon."

You think about the accusations being made; you did not see the shopkeeper steal anything, and you were here the whole time. Also, the blasters were not in the droid's chassis when you damaged him, in all likelihood, you simply left them behind.

Growing tired of the argument between your droid and the shopkeeper, you simply walk across the shop and stab the shopkeeper through the heart with your vibroblade. As he falls to the ground, dying, you make a downward slash that decapitates him. You leave his headless corpse behind and exit the shop with CH-4N.

As the two of you walk through Jiguuna, towards the house you acquired from Zeedo, CH-4N takes in his surroundings with great interest.

"Oh, so many delightful injuries waiting to happen!" he exclaims gleefully. "There must be dozens, even hundreds of wounds that require medical treatment a day! Limbs cut off, eyes blasted out. genitalia ripped off, oh, this must be paradise! Master, I have no memory prior to my reactivation. Was I a medical droid for a local hospital?"

"I am," you tell him. "My work is quite combat extensive. You exist as a precaution due to it."

"I see," your droid tells you. "Well then, I look forward to repairing the countless injuries you will no doubt foolishly allow to happen to you over the course of your career. And, since I doubt you know how to properly dispose of a corpse, I suppose I had better do that."

As the droid goes off to dispose of the dead Rodian, you explore the house a bit, coming across the bedroom. Stepping inside and shutting the door behind you, you take a seat on the bed, taking out the pyramid shaped object and setting it on the bed. Reaching out, you place your palm on the tip of the pyramid, and immediately feel a pulse of dark side energy. Drawing your hand back, you see a small, cloaked holographic figure appear atop the pyramid.

"So, a seeker has finally located my holocron," the figure speaks, looking at you. "I am unfamiliar with your species, but that is of no import. If you were able to locate and retrieve my holocron without getting yourself killed, then you are not without potential. I am Shtrone Valth, Lord of the Sith, and servant of the Dark Lord Naga Sadow. Since you have located my holocron, I shall teach you what I know, if you are capable of learning."

"What can you tell me of force abilities?" you ask the hologram.

"I personally discovered no new force abilities," Shtrone tells you. "However, I was very proficient in many known abilities, some of which may have been lost in the time between this holocron's creation and your retrieval of it. Know that Naga Sadow had a variety of force-sensitive followers with a wide array of abilities. I preferred to battle my enemies at a distance; unleashing powerful lightning attacks on groups of foes. I also knew the methods of healing my allies. I can teach you some of my techniques. Which would you like to begin with?"

"Lightning," you say, almost before he can even finish speaking.

"Very well; I will share with you one of my favorite lightning based attacks," he tells you. "You can unleash a bolt of lightning and have it jump to other targets close to the first. Each jump makes the bolt less powerful, and even the initial blast is weaker than it would normally be, but it is an effective way of wounding multiple enemies. Listen closely, and I shall explain how it is done...."

For the next few hours, Shtrone explains how to properly use the ability, and informs you of the drawbacks of the attack.

>Congratulations, you have learned Chain Lightning! This ability unleashes a bolt of lightning on a target, then causes the bolt to bounce to other, nearby targets. This ability takes some time to use, requiring several seconds to call on the force and build up energy. Because of this, it will require very high rolls in combat situations, unless using on a group of foes that are distracted while you are not under attack, or if used to attack a group of foes at the very beginning of a fight. This ability will likely not kill any enemies that aren't incredibly weak; however, it can grow stronger over time if you practice.

Before you can ask the hologram anything else, the door opens, and CH-4N enters the room.

"I have disposed of the corpse, and have taken the liberty of finding out where to purchase medical supplies in this town, since you probably would have been too stupid to even think to do so," he tells you. "Also, I am curious; do you ever intend to actually do that job you mentioned earlier, because all you have done since I was reactivated is sit in this room. Are you attempting to tell me that you have been injuring yourself with that pyramid? Granted, I could see you poking your eyes out on the pointy tip, or perhaps choking when you stupidly try to eat it."

"Your servant does not respect yo-

"Well, the hologram's powers of observation seem to be....existent. Of course, a Bantha with no eyes could see that, so I'm not very impressed," your droid replies. "Oh, and master, just in case your tiny brain is considering trying to "correct" my lack of respect, just keep in mind that without me, there's nobody to fix the innumerable injuries your stupidity will cause to be inflicted on you. Without me, you'll become a hideous, disfigured mess....moreso than you already are."

"Fair enough," Shtrone tells you. "Call on me when you next desire to learn."

The hologram vanishes.

"If you were capable of learning, you wouldn't constantly injure yourself," CH-4N comments helpfully. "That hologram is wasting its time, and we should put it out of its misery so that it does not have to live with its failure. We can bury it with the Rodian, or remove the alien's head and place the pyramid where it was. Or, I'd better do that, you'd cut your head off by accident...on second thought, we'll both go."

It may take longer, but double sided is more likely to be survivable long term.
