“You weren’t actually supposed to google it!” you nearly shout at him.

“You said to google it, so I did!” Baron says, taken aback by your outburst.

“No, I said ‘good luck googling it!’ Geeze, have you been listening to a word I’ve said?” That’s what you said – you have clear memory of saying that thing that you said. Everyone has clear memory of it. It was like, one second ago. (+2 Stress: 39/100)

Baron pockets his phone and puts his hands on his head, and runs his fingers through his hair. “Yes, that’s what you said, so I thought it was a good idea, and I could, so I did.” There’s a kind of impatient tone in his voice, as if he’s explaining something that should be taken for granted, but for some weird reason isn’t. “And that means obviously I was wrong? If you didn’t want me to know, why did you tell me in the first place?” he says, attempting to reason with you.

Why is he sounding so sensible? He should really cut that out. “Because – hell, I can’t believe this. I can’t even do this right now.” You push off the wall and walk away a couple steps. And then you stop. You were waiting here for Rowan. Walking away defeats the purpose of you waiting in the first place. You grumble to yourself, turn around, and resume your previous position as if nothing had happened. (+2 Stress: 41/100)
>>
>>32944790

To his credit, Baron says nothing. But he does smirk, the bastard. “You were trying to get something for nothing. Don’t lie, I’ve seen through your ploy, clever though as it may have been. But this isn’t me gloating or anything, I just really, really have to ask,” he says. “Why scissors?”

“Why not scissors?” you snap back. “Have you ever seen them, you know, doing the thing?” you say, questioning him. Baron’s uncomprehending expression speaks volumes, so you explain. Your thoughts kind of jumble over one another as you go. “Like – they’re like knives, but they’re all grinding together – I mean – the sound of it is just – aaghck – and then it’s like nails on a chalkboard but they’re like, ripping instead through stuff,” you say, shivering at the thought of the horrible ripping. (+5 Stress: 46/100) “Like, if the sound was tearing instead of making noise? I mean, it really doesn’t bother you ever? Like, even a little?” you ask, almost desperate for somebody to agree with your thoughts on the matter.

Baron seems to become less sure of himself at your semi-freaking out state. He spreads his hands regretfully. “I can’t say they bother me at all. I’m not saying it’s not bad for you, but that’s not what happens for me,” he says. “But yeah – I can see how they’d make you uncomfortable. Sorry for bringing it up,” he apologizes.
>>
>>32944804

You have the impulse to deflect his apology somehow and make fun of it, but you kind of don’t feel like being flippant right now. You instead deliver an ultimatum. “Just – your secret better be a fucking good one, Baron,” you say. That can be his penance. Somehow making himself as uncomfortable as you are right now.

Baron thinks about it. “Damn,” he says.

You glare at him.

“Don’t look at me like that,” he says, glancing at you. “I’ve got this one thing in my head and you’re making it harder to think of different, better things.”

“Well think faster,” you order, almost vindictively. You don’t really mean Baron any harm, but all those scissor-related thoughts have you on edge. “Anything good will do – and don’t sweat it about putting yourself out on a limb, because I didn’t worry about it, and I’m just peachy.” You’re kind of not.

“Well I can’t just give you a lame thing, can I?” he says. “I mean, it would be the jerk move after you just told me all about your secret phobia. It has to be something good.”

“Make it good then,” you demand. “First thing that comes to mind, the most embarrassing thing you can think of, right now. Say something.”

“Just – hold on a second,” he says, obviously desperate in thought. His desperation does wonders in softening your own anxieties. (-3 Stress: 43/100)

“Come on and just say it already!” you press. “Say it!”

Baron can’t handle the pressure. He breaks. “I’ve never kissed a girl before,” he says plainly.
>>
>>32944833

You and Baron both fall quiet for a second.

And then you start laughing. You laugh, at him, with force. You laugh so much that you have to fight from doubling over. Why do your sides hurt? Why is this so funny? Why hasn’t Baron ever managed to get to first base? Questions abound. (-8 Stress: 35/100)

“It’s not that weird a thing,” Baron states, nonplussed.

Rowan chooses now of all times to walk up. “Hey guys, sorry to keep you waiting.” You can’t quite manage to stop your laughter, so Rowan looks over at you. “What’s so funny?” she asks, skipping on excuses for her lateness.

Baron puts on a perfectly straight pokerface, preparing himself for the worst.

>He hangs out with girls but never gets any. Why didn’t’ anybody tell me? This is gold.
>Baron’s got files for you or whatever, let’s go. (Before you start laughing again)
>I mean, how does this happen – somebody’s all over everybody, but this guy’s all over nobody. What a twist.
>Don’t worry Baron, you’re not missing out on much. It just makes you feel all weird and awkward afterward for like, a couple days.

I don't know why it's so funny. It's far less ridiculous than Sierra's scissor phobia. Maybe that's why it's so funny; that he thinks that being a kissless virgin is on par with the scissor phobia in terms of ridiculousness.

“Okay, one thing,” you say, regaining enough composure to speak. “That like, doesn’t really compare with mine.”

“Maybe not, but you rushed me, so that’s what you get,” says Baron.

“Fine. I guess it’ll have to do.”

Baron smiles sheepishly. “Look at it this way. We both know something about the other person that the other person didn’t really want us to know.”

“What are we talking about now?” Rowan asks.

“The files Baron has to give you, for like, the paper or something,” you say, your broad smile wavering on the brink of collapsing back into laughter. It’s not like Baron is even missing out on much. All making out with a girl does is make you feel all weird and awkward for a couple days afterward, anyway.

Baron hands a flash drive to Rowan. “Could you read through these and let me know what you think? We can only pick two, but they’re all pretty good.”

“Sure thing,” Rowan says. “How’s the costume coming along, by the way?”

“I said it’s a surprise, and that’s the story I’m sticking with,” Baron replies. “Anyway. See you guys later.”

He drifts off, and you and Rowan head outside, where a jeep is parked waiting for you. Isaac leans over in the driver’s seat and peers over his aviator shades at the two of you. He’s wearing an old leather bomber jacket with a faded eagle patch on the shoulder, which jacket (and patch) looks older than you are. Or, for that matter, than he is. “How was school?” Isaac asks as the two of you walk up and throw your stuff in the jeep.

“Real great, Tom Cruise,” you say, hopping into the back.

Isaac furrows his brow. “Who?”

“Geeze dad, the actor?” says Ro, as she shuts the door behind her and buckles up. “You’ve only seen about a thousand movies with him in it.” She’s still getting nothing. “Because you look like the guy out of Top Gun.”

Isaac snaps his fingers. “Right, that’s him isn’t it,” he says. “Good movie.”

“I was making fun of you,” you say, feeling maybe you weren’t being clear enough.

Isaac starts driving away. “You’ll have to do better than pop culture references to get under my skin,” he says knowingly.

You drive on for a few minutes, until you turn the conversation to demons. “So you figure out Meckor’s doomsday plan yet?”

“Actually this morning I did,” says Isaac, smiling brightly. “I finally managed to get a hold of Borislav and talk to him about what Waldric said, and between my experience in demonology and his with nature magic, we figured it out.”

“How are they going to do it?” Rowan asks, turning to her father.

“I should have guessed sooner, but I wasn’t familiar with the principle and didn’t think it worked like it does,” Isaac answers.

“So. What should you have guessed sooner?” you ask.

Isaac looks at you in the mirror, and gives a sharp smile. “Landwells,” he says. “Turns out some are linked with other wells in other planes. And, if you set it up right…”

“You can use one as a portal,” Rowan finishes.
>>
>>32946167

“And lucky for us, we already know where the most conveniently located landwell is,” Isaac adds.

“Wait,” you say. You want to make sure you understand. “All we have to do is keep Meckor away from the landwell?”

“That’s the other thing,” says Isaac. “Borislav is pretty sure you can’t do the portal trick with a claimed landwell.”

“So since I own the woods or whatever, he can’t even do the apocalypse even if he did get there, right?”

“Yep. And neither him or his flunkies know you’re the landmaster who turned it – and it’s not even certain he knows where the landwell is to begin with - so it’s smooth sailing from here. Or at least, as smooth as it was before,” Isaac tells you.

Well that’s just plain fantastic. “Mission accomplished then. Kind of. Right?” Threat is a non-threat. (-20 Stress: 15/100)

“Nice,” says Rowan, trading a smile with you.

...we are of course still presuming that there might be some other landwell or even some other plan to be braced for right? Just to be safe, and all. I'm also presuming halloween doesn't actually coincide with a thinning of the walls of reality or any of that jazz.

ask about the jacket in a lull in the conversation, but it's basically a yes/no question with maybe a couple bits of trivia about how grandpa was in the air force way back when.

This. Ask how far away the nearest one that isn't the Muir Woods could be.
>>
>>32946208

If this does in fact prevent the invasion outright, I want Waldric to learn the details by him explaining to us that some unknown power claimed this landwell thing, so we can start sniggering like we have a mental defect before pointing at ourselves with our thumb. Possibly saying something to the tune of "aww yeee". The dumber we get while gloating, the more it'll chafe that we did an endrun around the apocalypse almost without trying, not to mention putting even more of the fear of us into him.

A thought occurs to you. “What if there’s another landwell nearby?” you ask.

“That wouldn’t be possible,” says Isaac, frowning. “They form at least one hundred miles apart.”

“Mom said there’s one in every county, at least,” says Rowan.

“Not to slight your mother, but she never learned Latin,” says Isaac. “About a third of our knowledge base is written in Latin, in the library.”

“Wait. So there’s some dusty old book on a shelf that says landwells do this or that?” you ask.

“It’s a… a kind of scroll, actually,” says Isaac. “It was written by a man who studied them his whole life.”

“So. Was he a landmaster or something?” you ask.

“No, not exactly. But he did know one or two of them, and he wrote all about their lives and where their territory was . He was a Catholic monk himself.”

Rowan becomes dubious. “How did he study landwells if he couldn’t see them?”

“Why he… he interviewed the landmasters about them,” Isaac says, talking slower now. “Landmastery isn’t really my field of expertise – honestly, you’re the only landmaster I’ve ever seen before, Sierra. That’s why you have to use the knowledge of those who came before.”
>>
>>32947185
Did you forget his "stealth" when we first met him?

He is not the smartest of demons.
>>
>>32947352

You squint at the road ahead. “So, like, the knowledge of those who came before” you say, “happens to come from some backwater monk writing a book about landwells. And he gets his information from two landmasters by asking them where their landwells are – landwells being like, the source of their power – and saying he’ll put them on a map in his book scroll thing after he’s done chatting with them, you know, so like, anybody can find out where they are.” You think about this for half a second. “I’d have just BSed the whole thing.”

Isaac goes quiet for a moment after hearing your comment. “Shit,” he says.

Well. So much for peace of mind. (+20 Stress: 35/100)

“There could be another landwell right in the city for all we know,” says Rowan, grimly. “Meckor must have found it already if he’s planning around it.”

“We’ll have to find it before he can make his move, then,” says Isaac, resolve sounding in his voice.

“Or just find him,” you say. “I mean. If he’s dead he can’t lead an invasion or whatever.”

Isaac smiles mirthlessly. “Or that,” he agrees.

“Waldric said Meckor was part hellion,” you say. “Since we’re like, going to fight him, what the heck is a hellion and what do they do? I mean. I’d rather know up front if he can control insects or like, make really freaky faces or whatever.”
>>
>>32947380

“Hellions are mage-bloods,” says Isaac. “They have an innate sense for the arcane – in other words, they can ‘see’ magic. This gives them an advantage in mastering and wielding it.”

You try to picture him. “What do they look like?” you ask.

“Ghost-rider,” says Rowan. “Except the fire. You know. Usually,” she says.

“Meckor’s part Infernus, so I take it he’s the exception that proves the rule?” you venture.

“Probably maybe,” says Ro.

Isaac speaks, then. “We won’t have a chance to fight Meckor if we don’t find him, though. Now I don’t exactly like it, but Waldric’s our best chance to find him.”

“Did you talk to Mr. Crowther about all this? I mean, if we want to stay on Wally’s good side, I hope you didn’t like, ruin his relationship with the guy’s daughter daughter,” you say.

Isaac shakes his head. “The Magister’s not going to interfere there, I don’t think,” he says. “Whether or not he should is his business.”

“What did he say you when you talked to him about it?” asks Rowan.
>>
>>32947397

Isaac’s expression takes on a hint of bewilderment. “He didn’t say anything,” he says. “He just thanked me for my insight, said he’d have me impeached if I laid a finger on Waldric, and then hung up.”

Ro looks thoughtfully out the window. “That’s weird,” she says.

You also look out the window, and see that you are not closer to the piers. In fact, you seem to be going further into the city, not toward the bat cave at all. “Hey, where are we headed?” you ask.

“We’re going to see the Magistrate,” says Isaac. “I need to talk to her. And while we’re there, she’s going to want to talk to you, too. She’s not letting me deputize you without a face-to-face chat. Think about it as a job interview. Unless you don't like job interviews. Think about it like... something else.”

“Don’t worry about her,” says Rowan. “She’s kind of cooky, but she’s harmless. I think.”

"So is it possible that papa Crowther is coercing Wally into helping us?"

Dunno if this would be OOC...

>he’d have me impeached if I laid a finger on Waldric
Awww Crowther's looking out for walldo
>>
>>32947397
Hellions sound cool.
>>
>>32947586
Wonder if Waldric has laid on a little of the ol' sparkly demon-not-a-cullen charms to get that high opinion, or if papa Crowther is just trying to preempt any zealotry while he has STERN WORDS with a certain prospective son in law.

Should we comment on his incredibly suggestive THE HOUSE *IS* THE TREASURE line to Isaac? It might indicate it's actually built on a landwell or somesuch, and if Hellions can see magic it could well be that unbeknownst to Waldric, Meckors plan is to simply waltz into this random rich humans house, butcher the occupants, and abuse the landwell within.
>>
>>32947805
Sierra was at the house. I would be surprised if she was there and she didn't feel the thing.

... unless it's magically hidden or something.
>>
>>32947824
>Magically hidden

Like maybe by the family of magic users who own the place?
>>
>>32947824
We couldn't see it until we could see it, in the clearing. Behind walls, in a biiiiig house? could very easily not spot it, especially if it's in a sub-basement or something.

Meanwhile a Hellion's ability to see magic might be like superpowered heat vision, seeing the lines of power straight through everything else. The ability for this to let you find a landwell would make using one as a portal a far more viable strategy.
>>
>>32947865
We could feel it before we could see it. The whole area felt charged and powerful and stuff.
>>
>>32947854
But how would Meckor have found it if we were sitting right on top of it and didn't notice a thing.
>>
>>32947458
Thirding this.
>>
How long has Meckor been around in the human world for? Do we know?

>inb4 he was "loyalist" to our mother, and hates humans because he considers her marriage to one to be the weakness that led to her fall and his subsequent exile shortly after we turn up in the system as an orphan, leading him to lose his nut as per Waldo's brief history.
>>
>>32947952
this seems unpleasantly likely
>>
>>32947952
Well you've certainly put thought into that anon. But the vibe I got was that our mother wasn't the ruling power, Verwelken generally don't seem to be topdogs if we go by the general daemon reaction to us.

>loyalist
And even if she was the head of a major faction 'loyalist' implies that Meckor was sticking to an overall head-honcho. It also implies this guy lost hard.

not really a great deal of thought, it was one of the immediate notions that occurred to me. Our mother wasn't necessarily verwelken anyway, given our mixed blood, and the dream conversation made it pretty clear she had a great deal of clout such that even following her withdrawal from demon politics she would be listened to. Given Waldric serves under Meckor, loyalist could just be to whatever faction Waldric himself belonged to (given his bitter remark on how Meckor has decayed from who he used to be this seems plausible); in feudal societies, people referred to those siding with their own local lord as loyalists in regional spats well below the national level.

in other news, if the magistrate isn't like a highly magical mrs. bapka I will be sorely disappointed.

Job interview. You look down at yourself. While you never look bad, you certainly don’t scream professional. What if you make a bad impression and can’t get the most badass highschool job ever? (+2 Stress: 37/100)

“Man, you should have told me sooner,” you say. “Should I… like, be wearing a tie or what?”

“Um. No?” says Rowan. “You don’t even own a tie. I don’t even own a tie.”

“Geeze, I mean, the only job I’ve had is like, at Taco Bell,” you say. “Not like I dressed up for that either but it’s not exactly a real job, is it.”

“The Magistrate isn’t impressed by pandering,” Isaac tells you. “It’s best you look like you.”

You look down at yourself. Scuffed up jeans, striped t-shirt, and your kind of pretentious red Jordans. And that’s not even mentioning your damn sweet jacket. Well, if there was a you-scale, this would be up there at the man, whatever they’re saying out there, I believe in you, just remember that for me, okay? notch.

“Guess I’m good to go, then,” you say.

---

Your journey takes you into the heart of Chinatown. Like. Real Chinatown, the part you probably don’t want to see if you’re a tourist. There’s like, severed pig heads for sale and a stench of rotting meat in the air, not to mention legions of unappetizing fish and weird, foreign looking fruits. And so many Buddhas. Buddhas and Chinese characters everywhere.
>>
>>32948455
>Jordans
We're gonna blow this shit out of the water

Isaac pushes into a small, rickety old shop that looks like someplace you’d expect to find a magic lamp or like, a cursed set of wind chimes or something for sale. A little bell makes an annoying ring as he goes in, and it goes off again when you push it back open for yourself. You follow after him, and find yourself having to dodge an array of hanging charms and low-set chandeliers. Isaac forges on ahead of you, ducked down so as to avoid running into anything.

Weird bits of merchandise are for sale everywhere. Snake skeletons in glass boxes, wood flutes carved with tiny scenes of horrible battles, and long, red dragon kites that flash with specks of golden thread in the orangey lamplight of the store. The smell of old fabric and incense probably called Mountain Oasis in Forest or something chokes the air. It stings your eyes and makes you want to choke.

The well-used voice of the shopkeeper comes from deeper within the store. Her English is heavily accented, and her words are full of saccharine politeness. “Welcome valued customer,” comes the greeting. You catch sight of the woman a moment later when she navigates her way around a stack of big travelers’ trunks.
>>
>>32948478

She’s old, and has a shriveled, almost pickled appearance. Her hair is wrapped up in a neat bun on the top of her head, in an ornamental style you think might be partially to appease sightseers. She’s wearing a red and white dress robe thing that looks way Chinese, though you’re no cultural expert. She smells like dusty attics, vinegar, and incense, which is no surprise since she’s practically marinating in the stuff. Her eyes are in such a squint you’re not sure if she can actually see you or anybody else.

She drops her bright, welcoming smile and hobbled posture at the sight of you, Isaac, and Rowan. She makes an unhappy sound and turns to walk down past all of you. “I say come by when shop is not open!” she says irritably. Her speech has a kind of staccato rhythm to it, emphasizing every syllable. She walks over to the door and flips the sign on the front from ‘We’re Open!’ to ‘Sorry, We’re Closed’.

“You’re always open,” Isaac says.

The old woman ignores Isaac and turns her attention to Rowan. “Come here girl, let Ms. Song have look at you!” Except, instead of making Rowan come over to her, the little old lady walks up to Rowan and reaches up to feel Ro’s cheeks. Rowan smiles and tries not to laugh as the woman angles Ro’s face down toward her and looks carefully at her face. “This one looks just like that daughter of yours, Isaac,” she says.

“Maybe because that is my daughter,” says Isaac.
>>
>>32948498

“Whaaat?” asks Ms. Song, her expression turning to one of surprise. “But she is so beautiful – hardly little girl she was last time I see her.”

Rowan gently takes Ms. Song’s hands off of her cheeks. “That was five years ago,” she says, smiling.

“So it was, so it was,” Ms. Song says, nodding knowingly. “You should come by shop more often – treat yourself to something special sometime, you won’t be young and beautiful forever. I have shell necklace, very rare, usually five thousand dollar - but for you, maybe twenty five ninety-nine?”

Rowan seems bemused, but she is interrupted in answering by Isaac clearing his throat. “Actually Ms. Song, I have bad news about Meckor. I was hoping I could talk to you in private for a moment.”

Ms. Song flashes him a sudden, dark look. “Shh,” she says. She then looks at you, as if she hadn’t noticed you were there until just this very instant, even though she walked by you like, two times. “Ohh who does this one belong to?” she says, walking over. She looks you up and down, like you’re a livestock or something. “So tall – you don’t believe it but I was tall too when I was young. What your name, girl?”

>Uh. Sierra?

The woman’s forward approach gets you off balance for a second. “Uh. Sierra Beckhoff?” you say. “And I don’t belong to anybody. Like. I mean, I kind of belong to myself, I guess,” you say.

Song looks you in the eye. “So you belong to yourself hmm? Very interesting. Rowan, Isaac, why don’t you look around my shop for a while?” she says, looking at the Hallows and shooing them off. She walks you off into another part of the store, leaving them behind to browse her wares. She raises her hands and beckons you forward, once they’re out of sight. “Okay, let me have better look at you girl,” she says, obviously of the intent of putting her hands on your face like she did with Rowan.

This.
Also, it's not just that there's no good husbando material. Sierra would make a terrible waifu.

Fair enough. This isn't even going to be relevant for a while anyway, so it's not like we can't take our time to choose a husbando.
>>
>>32949383
Well, I guess the only other option is to not bother with romance at all. Lets not forget that Sierra has an unfortunate tendency to fly into a psychotic rage when pushed too far. Not the kind of thing that would be considered ideal in a prospective spouse I would imagine.
>>
>>32949450
That's not true. Moriah was just introduced and we're her best friend now.

We haven't really seen him in a sufficiently interesting situation to really judge that yet. Everyone else has either been introduced under special circumstances (demon hunter family, stalker twilight demon, etc) or has been out-and-out weird in the case of Moriah, and to a lesser extent Vikrama. We've only really spent time around Baron in fairly mundane social interaction settings.
>>
>>32949473
Which is why god tier would be heterosexual life partners with Rowan.

>>32949475
Moriah is a best friend but Rowan has a level of understanding with us and makes her a lot closer to us. She's always been the first one that we tell some serious shit to, she's usually there to listen to us vent about stressful things and help us with homework. Hell, we even sit there listening to her play guitar while doing shadow puppets together. Rowan even stuck with us and didn't tell us we're stupid or reckless for literally playing in traffic, hell she even went with us. The girl even taught us how to ride a motherfucking dyke.

If there's anyone Sierra would probably count on, it would be Rowan. Moriah has the potential to become more, but Rowan right now is BFF material bro.

Do you know that for sure?
>>
>>32950609
Fuck, I meant to say Sierra would express affection through bullying.
>>
>>32950624
Certainly, if Harvey were more interesting we would probably hang out with him more
>>
>>32950599
I wish Harvey was more interesting. Half angel boyfriend could be cool.
>>
>>32950642
We never really hang out with him. We should do so some more.
>>
>>32950635
Well, we never hung out with Harvey, so we never learned what characteristics he exhibits. Just like we never would have hung out with Rowan in the first place, if she were male.
>>
>>32950673
No, we would have never hung out with Rowan if she continued to be a huge standoffish bitch to us.

Do you even remember how Rowan acted towards us? Remember how Harvey was nice to us at the very beginning?
>>
>>32950511
As if tg would let those things happen if she was a dude
>>
>>32950672
So the QM should show us something interesting about Harvey so we're more inclined to hang out with him.

If he's always boring whenever we're with him then why would we want to spend more time with him?
>>
>>32950701
100% wrong, /tg/ only knows how to cling to first girl no matter what attitude they have.

Just like they'll build up an opinion of a character as boring because nothing happens with them, when the only reason nothing is happening is because people are avoiding them because they're boring.

It's all so wonderfully circular.
>>
>>32950733
Except that's the crux, the point, the everything of the matter!

We're
Never
With
Him

And no one can see this!
>>
>>32950733
He was interesting when we went after Cordeliate and Ranthix, but we apparently forget things quickly.

Besides, we shouldn't need Languid to put a spotlight on a character just for us to interact with them.

No, it probably would happen. Again Rowan was a huge bitch when we first met her.

>>32950739
Except Waldric was an asshole so we treated him like an asshole, now that he's mellowing out there's been more of a favor towards him.

Except Ranthix tried to motherfucking kill us and yet we like the fuck out of him

Except Borya is a pretty cool russian druid that we look up to

Except Isaac is a pretty nice guardian that took us in regardless of the consequences just to give us a chance

Except Moriah's brother is a pretty swell dude that sees the good in us and is probably good at RPGs.

Its just Harvey and Baron that are boring as shit. And they just happen to be around our age
>>
I don't understand why romance is everyone's goal.

Welcome to hell.

Its not, but is fun to speculate and its natural to want to see the MC happy with someone. We're all suckers for romance here.

We all know there wouldn't be anything real until later on. But hell, its just shooting the shit

Only in group situations, or combat. We've never had alone time like we did with Rowan.

>>32950811
>no, people still hate Wally

>no, people were mad as fuck about him not dying. Only reason people like him is because he could have killed us and didn't.

>Exception, not romance option and Languid wrote Sierra as thinking his bear mode was cool from first appearance.

>Also not our age/a romance option

>People hate Moriahs brother and think he's boring as shit

It's just that at the beginning, people decided to spend time with Rowan instead of Harvey, because she was being bitchy and they wanted to win her over. And hey, once they started with Rowan, why ever leave Rowan? That's where all the progress was. And so since we never spent time with Harvey people think he's boring.

You wanna prove he's not boring? If someone can make a list like >>32950511 for him I'll believe you. Has to be at least as long, and no bullshit fills.

I know this is an impossible task, we don't know anything about him so we can't make a list like that. Just goes to prove my point, yall know nothing about him and so you just assume he's boring because he can handle his own shit and doesn't bother you with it.
>>
>>32950875
The difference is that Hell has more people.
>>
>>32950924
>>no, people still hate Wally
He's alright.

>>no, people were mad as fuck about him not dying.
Yeah, some people. I'm glad he lived. I hope we get to know him better.
>>
>>32950956
You're a pretty small minority from the posts I've seen.
>>
>>32950924
>It's just that at the beginning, people decided to spend time with Rowan instead of Harvey, because she was being bitchy and they wanted to win her over.

We spent more time with Rowan because HOLY SHIT WE WENT TO SCHOOL WENT TO SCHOOL WITH HER.

We spent more time with Rowan because HOLY SHIT ISAAC TOOK US TO TRAIN WITH HER.

We spent more time with Rowan because HOLY SHIT WE DID THAT RAID WITH HER AND ISAAC AND SHE GOT HURT BECAUSE OF US.

She mellowed out while in the hospital, or did you forget that? Even while we trained with her she was still pretty abrasive to us. It was only when we accidentally hurt her that she warmed up to us and started being our friend, rather an a babysitter.

This was after her hurt her, when she had every reason to be a huge bitch, when she had every reason to hate us. So don't go telling me that we were "waifuing rowan" Rowan was waifuing us fucker.
>>
>>32950978
Maybe you should stop selectively reading posts then. Also, missed this one.

>>People hate Moriahs brother and think he's boring as shit

He seems to be the only potential husbando that people don't think is boring as shit.

We still chose her over Harvey before the subject of school even came up. It's too bad Harvey wasn't our age, or we might've gotten to know the both of them.

>>32951002
This will shock you, so you probably want to sit down.

Your opinions aren't everyone's opinions. I'm sorry.

>>32951026
He's like 40. He's slightly more romancable than Isaac, which is still not at all.
>>
Oh god, please come back, Languid!

I beg of you, save us from this lunacy!
>>
>It's impossible to have a non-romance relationship with a person
Did none of you ever have friends you spent time with? This whole discussion reeks of loner autists vicariously seeking their one true sweetheart.

The stretches where Languid leaves to fuck his lawn and you people get going are the worst thing about this quest.
>>
>>32951063
No we didn't. The early threads were pretty pro Harvey(except one or two paranoidfags raving about him being 'creepy'), and even the way we acted towards Rowan was a bit antagonistic we on;y wanted to mildly annoy her when we were around her.

The general opinions about Moriah's brother were pretty favorable too especially after the car ride he gave us.
>>
>>32951063
>Your opinions aren't everyone's opinions. I'm sorry.
Yeah, I don't really even like Moriah's brother. I'm just saying it how I see it.

>>32951105
And then once we jumped on the Rowan train everyone forgot all about Harvey, and since we didn't talk to him anymore he became "boring". Literally zero people said he was boring when we actually interacted with him.
>>
>>32951063
>Your opinions aren't everyone's opinions. I'm sorry.
They're...not?

Oh.

OH!

Holy shit! That's where I've been fucking up all years! It's all so obvious in retrospect. I can now move forward with my life and be a better person.

Thanks, Anon. You're the best.
>>
>>32951201
no problemo
>>
>>32951180
Which is kind of a logical progression to be honest.

Think about it, for what reason would we choose to hang out with a 14 year old kid brother versus a 17 year old girl that's the same age?

Its kind of weird to hang out with him with the same kind of closeness as Rowan. Putting him in little brother tier is fine, but husbando material? Too young.
>>
Honest question.

Do you guys walk around looking at everyone in terms of being potential romantic partners? Is this a thing that people do? Because it's kind of bugging me how people are doing it here and I just wanted to know if it was me that had the problem and this is a normal behavior.
>>
>>32951180
Harvey never struck me as that much of a person with emotions. Granted, I could be wrong and would love to be proven wrong (with links to threads and a quote of the sentence).

But yeah, not really seeing him.

Baron, I'm really not sure of. Kinda like Baron, kinda not.

The whole Husbando thing is kinda...I dunno... not my thing. I'm glad people enjoy it, at least.
>>
>>32951241
That is correct, it is logical to do that.
What isn't logical is to call him boring because we did that.
>>
>>32951245
Shipping requires no basis in reality.
>>
>>32951245
People are bored. Bored people look for things to do.
>>
>>32951277
No, he is boring because he doesn't do much to stand out.

For example, Borya has just as much screen time, but Borya stands out. Moriah's brother and Ranthix have even less and they stand out.

Baron and Harvey don't stand out too well and not in a good way.

Calm your autism. We're just shooting the shit and discussing characters.

And yes, while Sierra won't probably be going out with anyone its still fun to speculate because, fuck she's a teenaged girl and its normal to want things like a boyfriend even if its out of reach.
>>
>>32951310
Borya stands out because he turns into a bear and people think that's cool.
>>
>>32951359

Well, I'm back, but as you can see it took three hours, not two.

But the good news is that I'll run again tomorrow, at 8:30AM MST (or so). Pic represents back to back Hellborn, probably.
>>
>>32951945

Are you still running tonight, or just waiting till tomorrow?
>>

I'll run tomorrow, because I need to sleep now so I can get up in eight hours and start running again.

If I had gotten back in two hours, maybe we would have gone on for a few hours more before I shut down for the night. That is not what happened.

Also, I'll see about working on an OTHER CHARACTERS pastebin, because there appears to be a little confusion as to some details.
