LAST EPISODE: You parked the car, and began the building inspection.
- - -
Things have not gone so well in your assault on the yokai infested building.

On the plus side, you've gotten about half way up the building, and were making short work of the opposition.

At least until the kitsune pulled out a gun and shot Akira.

Then Yurei directly handled an anti-PKE artifact in order to give you cover for your escape.

Then Mitsuko, the Child of Dark Water, Avatar of Oiwa, tried to drown you on the stairs.

So now you're hiding in an empty hotel room, Akira laid out on a makeshift cot, with a bullet in his upper shoulder. All of you dripping wet, and in the corner, Yurei staring at her hands that are starting to slowly...unravel is the most suitable term.

Sato is sitting next to the door, proton wand ready. Trying to listen for any pursuers.

Star is in the corner, pulling out the first aid kit. The good news is that it's a heavy duty kit, with disinfectant, tweezers, tape sutures, needle and thread, bandage wrap, gauze, the whole works. The bad news is that this kit was designed for people with nasty splinters or chunks of wood in their flesh, not bullets.

She looks at you, with expectant hope in her eyes. You WERE supposedly in college to get your medical degree, so you have some medical knowledge.

Of course you were then kicked OUT of college, so it isn't as if you've had much practice.

And then there's Yurei.

And if the yokai hunt you guys down, you can't run from this position.

> Grab the equipment and start to work on Akira.
> Get the PKE scanner and other GB tech out and help Yurei
> Go outside of the hotel room to make sure that the place is clear.

> You can assign Star and Sato to do other tasks, such as:
> Help Akira
> Help Yurei
> Guard the door
> Go outside and keep watch/act as a lure to keep yokai away

We try and help Akira, the others try to save Yurei. Could have sworn that sake was anti evil and not anti ghost. Maybe slime could help hold her together if she stays positive and uses the songs on the Chyme for extra focus?

You sigh and grab the stuff from the first aid kit.

"Star, help Yurei. See if the posi-slime can help her." You say. "Sato, watch the door, and everyone please try to be as quiet as possible."

You prop Akira's head and feet up. "Akira, you've been doing great, but it's now really really important that you stay calm and think of calming happy things. If you go into shock...don't go into shock."

He nods.

"No, I mean it. This is going to hurt, a lot. A WHOLE lot. I'm going to gag you so you don't bite or scream."

Akira nods and opens his mouth, you put in a cloth wrapped chunk of wood in and he bites down.

You take a deep breath. Get the bullet out. If you can do that, the rest should be pretty simple.

You spray disinfectant on the tweezers and Akira's wound. You see his chest heave a little at the burning pain.

"Yeah. It's gonna get worse." You say. You take a deep breath, and plunge the tweezers inside the wound.

"Don't move!" You hiss.

You can hear him panting hard and tears well up in his eyes.

You actually have to wiggle it around a bit, but thankfully you actually DO get a grip on the slug.

"Okay!" You say, more than a little relieved. "I've got a grip on it."

Akira sags in relief.

"Yeah, don't be so happy, now I have to pull it out." You say.

Akira makes a long groaning noise.

"How're we doing Sato?" You ask.

If she comes out, then the...whatever is happening to her will keep going, but very very slowly. If she does something foolish again...I dunno. So...back inside kiddo."

Yurei disappears back into the Chyme.

"You know," Sato says. "If Yurei died in the late 80s, early nineties...she's not that much older than we are. Kinda."

You look at Akira. He's stopped panting. "You ready?"

"I did it." You say, a little amazed as you look at the small metal slug. "Heh...heheh! I did it!"

"SHHH!"

Akira is openly weeping and making various sounds through the gag.

"I actually did it. You want to keep it?" You say to Akira.

Akira flips you off.

You take a sigh and wrap up the bullet it a piece of tissue. You still can't believe that you actually did it. You're keeping it. Holy crap, you actually pullet a bullet out of a human being! That's awesome!

Akira punches your side, and you return to the current issue. Right, Akira still has a hole in his body. Thankfully one that isn't bleeding anymore, so you just have to sew it up.

"You mind having a scar?" You ask. "Because I don't plan on trying for making this pretty."

Akira punches you again.

"Hey, I could have left that thing in there." You say. "Alright, don't move too much, this won't hurt as much as before, but it'll still be a bitch."

He rolls his eyes and makes a sigh/moan.

You start the process of sewing him up.

Star has joined Sato at the door to watch for threats.

Oh crap, I hate being late to this.

You guys made sure to help Akira right?

Yurei is already dead, so the worst that could happen is she loses her PKE material connection to our realm and passes on, as sad as that would be to all of us. Ignoring the whole "playing god by denying souls passage to the next world, just because they want to stay"

Later we can figure out a way to stop that PKE leakage.
Several things we can do is:
1. Empower her through belief/emotional power. The more people Believe in Yurei, the more powerful she could become
2. Have her absorb smaller ghosts for power. Maybe tiny hauntings who aren't people like those crying computers.
3. Magic/Ritual empowerings. Sacrifice a goat? I'm sure there are spells someone can use. We could also still ask Rini and Sachiko to invoke the blessing of Ōkuninushi, god of spirits, and Rini being a rabbit youkai would help us get his favor.
4. Ask Rini to take her to the Japanese underworld and bring her to their ghost hospital, maybe even meet the Peoplebusters along the way.

Akira takes out the chunk of wood. "Screw that. Bitch SHOT me. Besides, if we run, they'll dig in and we'll never get this far again."

"Yeah, let's hope that's not anytime soon again." Akira says. "How do the American branches deal with this?"

You run after the tengu that's shouting and yelling.

There's a bunch of tengu tearing through the empty condos on this floor and you can hear the squeaking and running noises from the next large staircase, more are coming.

The halls and layout of this floor is much more open as compared to the hotel. There's small open areas, a few hallways, and an open walkway around the central ring. You can look down and see YOMI-1 down about 20+ floors below.

> Move to the hallways and try for a bottleneck like you did before.

You all pull back into a small little rotunda, and you can hear all of the tengu swarming. Thankfully, they don't seem that smart. The kitsune isn't around to give them direction and they don't seem to realize that there's four ways into this rotunda. They're trying to copy the tactic they did at the hotel floors.

Which means that you're not only able to get them with the same tactic, but flank them as well when they charge into the rotunda, which is small enough to force their numbers down.

Again, it's a slaughter. Feathers and slime fly everywhere, but well...this time YOU have the guns. You have the slightly better tactical training. And, maybe the most important part, you DON'T have the fear.

After about the fifteenth tengu body hits the ground, living status unsure, the rest of the swarm...

Flee.

You can see the flow of figures change direction to head towards the other side of the ring, towards the utility stairs that lead to the exit. They have routed, and they want to see the next day.

"Great," Sato says, as you spy the way to the staircase up is now clear. "Let's go."

"Screw that!" Akira says. "I say we go after them!"

"I thought you said that you'd accept surrender." Star says.

"That was before we got word that there might be an attack on the factory!" Akira says. "We let them go, then we're letting there be reinforcements."

"There hasn't been any explosions or massive PKE surges." Star says. "Maybe Sana was able to get the place into lockdown."

"No surges YET." Sato says.

>Damn it, Akira's right. We can't risk any getting away and attacking the Containment Unit, or just escaping in general. We've got to wipe them out.
We're going to do this in the best (and by best, I mean A-Class War Criminal best) traditions of the Imperial Japanese Army.
>>

> Forget the tengu, they're nothings. We've got two more floors of this crap and a garden party from hell. Let's go.
Don't waste energy with the mooks. Go for the leader and our target.
>>
>>33175734
"Hey Akira, what was that about 'Besides, if we run, they'll dig in and we'll never get this far again.'?"

If we were really concerned about the base, we should've backed down earlier. We got here under the assumption that by the time we got back to the base, the factory would've fallen by then then they would hunter.
>>
>>33175734
> Forget the tengu, they're nothings. We've got two more floors of this crap and a garden party from hell. Let's go.

> Forget the tengu, they're nothings. We've got two more floors of this crap and a garden party from hell. Let's go.

Too late to double back now. It'd be like waiting in line for an hour at the amusement park, and chickening out before you're buckled in. We've already used resources and sustained damage. It shouldn't be for nothing.
>>
>>33175792
Well, my reasoning was that if we wipe out all of the tengu, we won't get hit by a flanking attack by them when that kitsune with the gun rallies them again.
Also it's to show the other youkai here that we're not playing around. We've killed three weasels, a kappa, two kuchisaki's, a yukionna, and who knows how many tengu by now.
We can have the weaker-willed youkai abandon this place and be scared to cross us.
>>
I want to kill them to ease off the stress on the headquarters, but we don't even know if the Tengu are even PART of the attack team, so we may waste energy killing them pointlessly, and letting any yokai upstairs bunker down in preparation for us. If needed, we can quickly slime the staircase they are using to let them slip and stumble, but that is the most we can do at the moment.
>>
>>33175918
Why not outright destroy the staircases to limit their descent and demonstrate our resolve?

Unless they can fly.

That could work too, unless they just decide to pile out the windows and survive the fall impact or simply just fill the gap with bodies and walk over each other.

"I don't think they're in any mood for any more of a fight anyway." You say.

"Okay." Akira says with a sighs, and a light touch on his upper shoulder. "Right, should save it for someone specific anyway."

You all break for the stairway.

"What IS that thing supposed to be?" Sato asks as you head up the stairs. "Modern art?"

"I think they're supposed to be fish." Star says.

"In what alternate reality are those fish?" Akira asks.

"Oh, yeah." You say. "I see it. Turn your head and look at the yellow cubes."

All four of you stop and tilt your head to look at that damn mural.

"Oh yeah..." You all say at the same time.

"You know as well as I that the dead aren't the most creative entities in existence. Anyway, if I had control of water and some jackasses were trying to climb a set of stairs, I'd do this too." Sato says.

Considering they did this before, they may be expecting us to jump onto the floor we are on and dodge the flood. However, if we strap down and ride it out, the mural fish things might come to life and try to kill us. I would like to ride it out, if only to say "Fuck you" to all the yokai.

This may or may not be real water, but what's certain is it's coming from the walls.

We could try to quickly slime the wall corners and "freeze" (solidify) it with the stasis stream.

If it's real water, we block it. If it's a conjuration, the slime will counter it.
>>
>>33176250
Well, a similar thing like this happened in the video game where everyone was tossed back by water going down a hotel hallway and staircase.

It'd be a bad idea to leave dangerous nuclear isotoples to contaminate and leak at the first sign of water.

"Two bucks says that they're at least creative enough to make us regret doing the same thing twice." You say as you get out the carabiners and ropes. "Strap in."

"Oh every part of this day has SUCKED." Star says as she straps herself to the railing in the same way. "This is going to make my hair SO groady."

"Also, Star, Sato. Slime the walls once you're strapped in." You say as you get the slime blower up as well. "Try to slow the amount of water."

"What about me?" Akira says.

"You are hurt, and we don't want you getting MORE hurt until you can make that vulpine bitch hurt!" You snap.

"Got it." Akira smiles. "You really get me, man."

"Yeah, I'm disturbed by that fact as well." You say.

The slime coats the walls and the damn mural, but the rumbling keeps coming, and soon you see a huge wall of water start to come down the stairs, black and filthy.

"HANG ON!" You yell.

And then you are all submerged.

The water passes, and you're all still there.

Akira still has his hat too.

Sato spits out a mouthful of water. "I still don't really see the fish."

"Well," Star says. "It could be a bird."

You all unhook yourselves and go up to the next floor, you open the door to the movie lobby and see...nothing.

Just a vacant floor with an empty ticket booth.

"Yeah, not buying it." Akira says, and puts on his spectra-goggles. "Yup."

The rest of you do the same, and you see what's waiting for you on THIS floor.

Spiderwebs. A giant maze of webs, strands, and nets, normally invisible to the eye, but you can spot them.

Star taps you on the shoulder and points upwards.

You see two large spiders on the ceiling, they have human female faces, but that's it. The rest is 100% oversized arachnid.

They're sleeping.

Actually, in this case, starting a fire should not be a bad idea. Spiderwebs burn exceptionally fast. So fast, that they have trouble catching onto anything else. And as this is the building of a water-controlling ghost, I don't think we have to worry about the building burning down.
Plus, it would give a perfect chance to make a "Hot ladies" pun just so see how many people and ghosts will groan at it.

Would you say that Kali and her vampire kin are any less "alive" than these Youkai? True, their hearts might not be beating and their metabolism shot, and by strict definition, they are dead, but they can speak and function in the same manner as you and I.

Then there are living humans in comatose, a vegetable hooked to a machine till their untimely death, and true they are by hard definition alive but do they "live" their life so to speak?

Would killing either of them be any less moral or immoral?

The point is that Akira doesn't. He has absolutely no regrets with killing a youkai that wants to surrender. He has been very vocal in saying that sapient non-humans don't have rights, and don't deserve to exist, and that he wants to wipe them out.
He probably only tolerates Yurei because she used to be human.

You and Akira both flip Sato and Star off.

"I don't see a bird, or a fish, or anything like that." Sato says as he goes up the stairs. "Just a yellow blob thing."

"Maybe yokai like it, or they'll repaint it when the good yokai move in." Akira says.

"So you acknowledge that there's good Yokai, then?" Star asks.

"Yeah, yeah." He says, waving it off. "Save it for when you all yell at me after this. Preferably when I'm high on pain killers."

"Does your shoulder hurt?" You ask seriously.

"Like a bitch, but I'm good." He says. "But more importantly...we've reach the top of the stairs and I don't see any of that black water sludge."

"Well...we've just had to go up one floor, not five." Sato says and then sighs. "But yeah. I say trap."

Akira carefully opens the door to the 30th floor. It's to a large ballroom/convention room.

It's empty save for three people. Two large men, and that damn kitsune.

She still has the gun in her hand.

The two large men are probably the biggest looking men you've seen in your life. They're wearing sunglasses, have ill-fitting suits, and one of them has a red tie and the other has a blue tie. You can see that Red Tie has half of his pinky finger chopped off.

"I don't. Fucking. Believe. This." The kitsune says as she stares at you all. "Okay, fine. You know what? This is fine. Juuust fine. Come in, come in. We're going to have to talk anyway, so come in."

Death is the natural end to life. A person dies, leaves behind the material world, his soul passes on. Ghosts, undead, and the likes are the result of deviancies of the natural order. A soul is kept from the afterlife and is forced to stay here, in a virtual a purgatory.

The end result of our actions is to "finish the job" and end the life that should've passed on long ago. We've stop the suffering of many souls we've ended and helped pass on, would that be killing? We can't keep them locked in the containment unit forever either.

Granted, this does not apply to Youkai though, just the vampires and technically Yurei. We're extending their unnatural stay in this world, because we like them.

What kind of Youkai is she if she can't even face us as a Youkai? If she has to use mortal weapons just to fight us?"
>>
>>33178814
She's a smart youkai that outsmarts the humans, like kitsune often do.
>>
>>33178651
You know, depending on what type of Oni those are, we might be able to convince them to help us. If they're the flesh eating, angry destructive Oni then sure, blast them. But if they're honorable guardian Oni, then this shit would probably bug them as much as it bugs us.
>>
>>33178853
And witches and warlocks are smart humans who try to outsmart ghosts, but that doesn't stop them from often encountering the ire of fate.

It's just unnatural.
>>
>>33178853
She's a nogisune that is going outside the boundries of trickster spirit into downright malicious.
Honestly, we could probably have Sachiko plead to Oinari for help dealing with them. Usually Inari's Kitsune do that anyways.

I still don't like the dialogue from >>33178752

I would much rather prefer to make it into a "Does your boss know about this? Do you think your manager, who has wealth, prosperity, and industry as their domains, is going to be happy with Japan going back to the Heian? Don't think we won't call up Inari about this, because we will."
>>
>>33179068

Dude, she's got them there as her muscle, of course they'll move to intervene.
>>
>>33179069
That works even better. Honestly, Ghostmaster usually makes up better dialogue for daisuke than we do so hopefully he tweaks it.
>>
>>33179018
You all hide around the doorframe in the stairwell.
"Let me ask something first! Who are you? A Kitsune? A spirit? No. You are not. You are using MORTAL weapons, to fight mere MORTALS. How low have you stooped, or were you never there in the first place?

You are NOT a spirit, you are NOTHING."

"A nothing, am I?" She chuckles in this annoying 'yipping' style. "I am of the Regal Line! I am who will govern the new world of Shadows, and I am the one who has my people in your precious factory right now, surrounding your little prison! Now come out with your hands up, or I make one phone call, and not only is everyone in this depressing slum of a neighborhood dead, but Oiwa will awaken early...thanks to you!"

You think Oinari will allow that? You think she'll actually not send Messengers to intervene?
You risk pissing off all the Kami, and I'm SUURE Amaterasu will just LOVE your "Blot out the Sun, bring an age of Darkness." idea.

Aka, Aoi. What do you two get out of this? Working with this Nogitsune will just hurt your reputation, and these days Oni have been accepted as Honorable Guardians and bringers of Good Fortune. Do you really want to go back to the days where heroes rallied against you and you were driven out of homes as evil spirits?

>>
>>33179177
That, or we make some "calls" of our own.
>>
>>33179171
That really doesn't sound like a good idea, what with the red oni apparently already being a yakuza kobun.
>>
>>33179218
Doesn't mean he doesn't have honor, and this whole thing can't be good for his family or his reputation.
Besides, I believe most honorable Yakuza groups have a code about stuff like this. Like after the earthquake and tsunami where they sent out aid to effected areas faster then the government response.

Not saying they're good, or everything they do is good. But still, it's worth a shot.
>>
>>33179153
"You're bluffing." You say.

"You think I am?"

"Yeah, cause I don't think your boss would like that. You're a kitsune, right? Oinari probably won't take kindly to awakening Oiwa, destroying Japan, or you using a gun."

There's a pause, and the damn fox breaks into another fit of laughter. "Oinari? THAT old hag? You think that I answer to HER?" More laughter. "Oh, you stupid, stupid, mortal. Oinari's not calling the shots. In fact, she's...gone."

"Gone?" One of the men asks. "What do you mean, gone?"

"Do you think I'm fool enough to speak my mistress' secrets? The old hag is gone, and when Oiwa sweeps across this land, she will...not be there...to interfere. Then my mistress will take her place, as it SHOULD have been. Mewling little white-coat whore...if only we could kill her."

The men make grumbling sounds.

"Oh be quiet. You two will do as you are told. That was the arrangement." She sighs. "Enough. Go drag them out from their hiding places and make them look at the windows. I want them to see their little headquarters explode."

You hear the men advance, their steps are pound and heavy enough to shake the floor a little.

"Yes, hello." You hear the Kitsune say. "I'd like to order one...wait...what? Who is this?!"

Your bluetooth rings.

You answer it.

"Hey." It's Sana. "Okay, so...we kinda made a bit of a mess, and broke some stuff...but I don't think you're gonna be mad."

>>
>>33179399
If they have honor, then fulfilling a debt, which is probably what the kitsune called in, will take precedence over apparent dishonor to their omote reputation.
>>
>>33179476
So what you're saying is we blast the kitsune, which absolves them of their debt, which allows them to team up with us and punch shit in the face?

I'm game!
>>
>>33179476
There's also the fact that the Oni seems surprised that Inari is gone. Honestly, we can probably turn these guys to our side.
>>
>>33179492
The key is to get them to acknowledge that their debt/arrangement has been fulfilled. Once they're free agents (or only beholden to their oyabun), then we can engage them in negotiations to either help us, or stay neutral.

And for that, we need to ask them what the kitsune is holding over them.

>>33179505
Inari being gone also brings up a whole host of bad implications. Because if Inari is gone, then what about the other major kami? If they're gone too, then we're pretty much fighting without any supernatural backup, especially with Mr. Spiritual/Species Purity trying to kill anyone who surrenders to us.
>>
>>33179446

"You sure they're coming here, and that they're monsters?" Sana asked.

"Oh yeah, Grandpa spotted them, and I've got Wide-Mouthed Bitch in my nose now." Kali says. "Sides, four girls in masks walking down the street in the Reject Zone? Not common."

"You're sure they didn't see us?" Sachiko asks as she puts a lock on the garage door.

"Nah, Gramps said that they were taking the long way around so they wouldn't get near the temple. They don't want to risk...you." Kali says. "Thankfully, Gramps can hear an ant fart."

"Alright so what do we...oh thank God. They're calling." Sana says.

"They're still alive?" Kali looks at Sachiko. "I owe you a canned coffee."

"Guys? You okay?" Sana says. "We got cut off."

"Crap, they're getting close." Kali says. "Come on kiddo, we gotta go."

"Okay, can't talk. Stuff's happening. Gotta go." Sana says. "If you see a big explosion and evidence of a Serious Company Protocol Violation...look never mind...they're almost here."

She hangs up and follows Kali and Sachiko.

A little while later, you can hear someone trying to pick the door lock of the factory.

"-ound like the best plan." A voice says. "Won't other lands step in?"

"No, no. That's the genius of Her Royal Highness' plan. The good obedient bloodlines, priests, exorcists, and other mortals, they'll be out there keeping a large amount of people safe. They'll be trained to do so by the government program. Then, after the damage has been done, her ladyship will emerge as the savior. The surviving humans will flock to her leadership, and the obedient exorcists will fall in line and obey the New Ways as given by her."

The door opens and four women in surgical masks walk into the dark room.

"Then we will have control over this land, the mortals having been reduced to nothing but meek mice."

>>
>>33179543
I'm still questioning the validity of her statement. Whether Inari and the rest of the pantheon is truly /gone/ or whether it's like "she's no longer relevant, because we're totally going to win and kill them all" or "the bloody moons are blocking heaven! the gods cannot hear you"
>>
>>33179582
The lights click on, and the four women see that they're surrounded by two pissed off vampires, one priestess with a bow and arrow, and a secretary that has a proton pack strapped on her back.

"Squeak squeak, mother fuckers." San says.

- - - NOW - - -

"So we got them, after a REALLY nasty fight, you never told me how heavy these things KICKED!" Sana says.

"Yeah, it's a shock." You say. "So they're all dead?"

"Yeah, Kali and her Grandfather ate them." Sana says.

"And Kaede?"

"Is watching TV at Sachiko's." Sana says.

"And the containment grid?" You say.

"Untouched." Sana says. "And Kali's insulting someone on a phone she picked up."

"Yeah. Okay, thanks. I have to go. Bye." You hang up.

"We'll be right behind you." You say.

The man narrows his eyes at you and he holds out his hand.

"Do you have the bullet?" He asks.

You instantly hand him the slug.

He takes it and pops it into his mouth. "Thank you," He says as he crunches it. "It is best to not have bullets from ones' gun floating about."

"That's YOUR gun?!" Akira says. "YOU gave it to her?!"

"I did not GIVE it to her." He says. "She was allowed to HAVE it. I will be taking it back, it is my tool for WORK."

"I thought you guys had clubs." Star says. "If you are what I think you are."

"We are, and I do have a club." The man says. "You do NOT wish to see it, because then I would be USING it."

"O-kay." Star says.

"So why are you following her?" Akira asks.

"Debts." He says. He does not elaborate.

"OH FUCK YOU AND YOUR COFFIN, YOU SHADOW-PUPPET FUCK! There a holdup or something?! Bring the out here...I am going to blow their heads off!" The kitsune rants.

"They will follow us." The blue tie man says from right next to his brother.

"We will be taking six steps straight towards the kitsune," The red tie man says. "Then we will hold still. That is all. Understand?"

You all nod.

"Good. Know this, this is professionalism. This is not an alliance. This is not a kindness. If we meet again, and we have been given orders, we will be in combat." The red tie turns and the two men take their six long steps towards the kitsune, you right behind them.

The super heating from the proton stream does not cause the gun to melt.

It does however, cause all of the bullets to fire at once inside the cylinder.

So there's a scream of pain, a clatter of broken metal on the floor, and the kitsune is holding a bleeding paw, howling in pain, there are metal shards stuck into it. The blood is thick and black. You know that means she tore up some vital stuff.

> "Blast her. Put her out of her misery."
> "You're bleeding arterial blood. If the shards and bleeding isn't stopped, you'll be dead in minutes. Surrender and I'll save your life."

You're only slightly bluffing here. The bluffing part is the idea that you'll be able to stop the bleeding, you can MAYBE pull it off. You are at least aware of what you need to do, in that you saw the steps in a textbook.

"Tsch, as if I'd take help from a mortal. This is nothing." The kitsune looks at her hand and gestures. "It isn't fixing itself! WHY isn't it working?!"

"Iron and steel." The man with the blue tie says.

The kitsune looks up, horrified. "No...oh, no no no no!" She starts to hyperventilate.

"No no no!" You shout. "Don't do that! You'll go into shock!"

It's too late, you see her eyes roll up in her head and she collapses onto the floor and suddenly there's just a little fox on the ground that's bleeding heavily from a mangled paw.

You move to help, but a large hand grips your collar and lifts you up from the ground.

The red tie oni looks at you, with unnervingly calm eyes. You see that he's got his other hand firmly gripping Akira's shoulder. The blue tie oni has his hands holding Star and Sato's shoulder.
