Seems a fairly simple battle. The map is narrow with a single main road so there's not much in the way of tactics.

My inclination is to take these high points first then wait and see. Konigsberg may use their heavy tanks to take the middle town and fortify down or try for the heights or something else and each requires a different response.

“Now, now, Pinkerton,” says Octavia. “Forests like Marshall Ney and indeed the Ardennes are what are you’re going to be experiencing. This is a valuable practice, and we might just do this tomorrow.” Everyone groans. “But- You all have to learn that a tank has its limits too. Sure, it can block a bullet, that doesn’t mean it won’t climb a hill without momentum or block a certain caliber of shell, or be too heavy to ford a river. Learn the strengths and weaknesses of your tanks, for those of you new here.”

Kate nods. “And for those of you who aren’t new, do learn it anyway. You’re going to be surprised by your tank at some point in the field, and it will either hurt or harm you.”

Wendy says, “Indeed. And for forests, you’re going to find that tanks with longer barrels like the Panther, the Tiger, the Shermans with the 76mm, anything that goes beyond the front of the tank, will suffer immensely. Your gun will be caught on tree branches, and because of how slow the traverse works for certain tanks, you may not have the momentum to just rip it free. So be careful where you decide to lay an ambush.”

“And for casemate tanks like the StuG,” says Kate. “Be careful when cresting over a gully or a ditch. The gun can bend or get caught, thus immobilizing you.”

“In short,” says Joanna. “Forests. Not a good place to fight.”

With that, you all mount up and drive back to the HQ, with practice over. Kate gives you her report.

Pardon, just woke up and i'm not making too much sense.

We tend to elite our tanks at the end of the day so I'm going by that hes only just starting work on the Somua if we go by that schedule. That means that the particular tank should only be ready, evening tomorrow. An additional tank would be ready the following evening, Friday and that would be it, barring helping out at the shop and if we need to start moving to Belgium, I think we might need to leave earlier than Friday night.

Schteel's mentioned it before that we tend to consult the shop late, so he usually works on them the next day, increasing the time required.

Except for the ones who actually know what’s at stake. “I know this is a bit of a thing, you all just got back from holiday, and now we’re essentially making more work, but we have the tournament to consider.”

Cathy raises her hand. “I think we’re fine with just two practices.” Everyone nods, agreeing.

“Yeah,” says Marina. “I mean, no offense, Gertrude. But, three sessions in a row? It’s already tiring enough with two.”

Nancy says, “We’ve considered doing it Monday-Wednesday-Friday instead of Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday nonstop. That’ll give you time to rest.”

They don’t seem convinced.

I'm hoping there won't be too much of a morale hit. While I do want a hit, some of our crews are getting dangerously close to 100%, too much would hurt the Jap and Hall monitors.

We consulted the KV-85 late sunday.

He worked on the KV-85 all monday and we ordered the Panther and Somua early morning/afternoon while he was working on it.

So he had tuesday to help work on the panther, and has all day to work on the somua.

If we have to travel we can help him.

Besides we're making our order while he's working on another tank then I don't think it matters.
