Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another edition of Succubus Lord Quest!

Last time on Succubus Lord Quest, we managed to escape the trapped meeting with nearly three entire Succubus Leaders. When asked how this came to be, we found out that Wilhelmina was the one who gave away the time and the place of the meeting to the Demonic General Dis himself.

Racing to find Wilhelmina, we found out that she was basically bullied if not outright tortured by Dis in exchange for the information, leaving Wilhelmina a shell of a person who could not bare to face Brooklyn. After a tearful apology, Wilhelmina agreed not to commit suicide. It was later that she decided to go on a pilgrimage in order to find out what her path on the world should be now.

Plans were put into motion with Amelia’s group to see if she could harass the Pride Demon’s group long enough in order to get the leaders back, before heading over to the church of Pamille to see Teresa, temporary ruler while Ishtar is incapacitated, then asking Latooni if she could repair Wilhelmina’s weapon.

We now continue from where we left off!

Also the second post was an ugly post with lots of eyesore text, which is now all compiled here!

You place your hand onto Latooni’s shoulder, her making a small jump when your hand lands. "Don't worry Latooni, if theres anything that can cheer her up, it would be seeing it restored."

“T-Thank you Lady Brooklyn! I will try my best!” Latooni replies with a cheerful expression.

“Excellent, it’ll be in your care then.” you say to her before walking off.

Hm... The library seems like as good of a place as any. You’re wondering how Mary is doing after that attack, and hopefully Succubi in their 100’s are just as gossipy as old human women.

******

Heading to the library, you pay careful attention to the outside. Many of the Okarians appear to be on edge today, and the increased presence of Okarian guards doesn’t appear to be helping either. Heading inside, you start with your standard procedure of handing one of the guards your Library card.

The guard seems to read over your card before putting it in her pocket. “Miss Browning, I’m afraid we need to have some words with you about an overdue book.”

Overdue book? “Pardon? I don’t have any overdue books.”

“According to our records, you have an outstanding late fee of 671 gold pieces of the book ‘Detailed Vista’s of the Atlantic Coast’, late by 198 years.” The librarian guard replies.

“...I haven’t even been alive that long!” you protest.

“You are aware that article 86 Subsection G-2 clearly states th-”

You just sigh in frustration at this point. “Fine, whatever. Just take me to whomever I’m supposed to see about this so I can get this stupid clerical error fixed.”

“This way please.” the guard says leading you into the library.

You follow the guard into the library, staring at the ground as she begins to climb up the stairs in the library. You’re so angry that you’re even beginning to think really fast. StupidOkarianlibriansmakingyoupaylatefeesforabooktheymostlikelytookout...

The stairs continue to seem to go higher and higher, until the point where you realize you’ve never been this high in the library. You go past a sign saying “LIBRARY STAFF ONLY”, showing what appears to be an entire floor of cubicles and desks in one area, a small army of Okarians with a few Greed Demon’s also mixed up amongst the collection, all with a window that seems to overlook the entire library below. You’re not close enough to the window to see anything but the ceiling of the library through the windows and smell of ink in the air.

Eventually you pass through a set an incredibly large set of oak doors into a rather lavish hallway of sorts. A few Okarian guards dressed in leather armour and with spears seem to stand guard in the hallway as you walk on by, pictures of art from what appears to be the Old world along the walls, before a large set of pictures seem to overlook the entire hallway. A massive picture of Oksana seems to overlook the entire hallway, her gaze seeming to stare out to the ceiling fixtures, but otherwise looking the same as when you normally see her. Below her are three, smaller pictures of Oksana’s daughters: Mary, Luna, and Wendy. Before you can get a good look however, you are guided into the next set of doors.

“Lady Wendy, I have brought Lady Browning as you requested.” the guard who escorts you says as she enters the room.

“...Wait what?” you ask, your gaze now focused with a laser like precision to who the guard is talking to.
>>
[3/3]

Filling your eyes appears to be a near exact replica of Oksana, albeit a more youthful appearance compared to Oksana’s older sort of charm. A slim but rather tall woman with long black hair going down to nearly her waist. Skin nearly as white as the snow outside and deep, emerald eyes that seem to dazzle within the light of the room, her own robe being a simply dark blue robe that goes to the ground, traditional as one can get with mage clothing. The expression on her face is typical of most Okarians though, a flat expression that seems utterly devoid of emotion.

“Thank you, you are dismissed.” The younger Oksana says with a flat expression.

The librarian gives a deep bow before the woman before walking out of the room.

“Apologies for the deception, but I needed to talk to your urgently and discreetly enough so that the Greed Demon’s wouldn’t catch on.” Wendy says to you with a small apologetic bow.

You take a quick look around the room in order to get your bearings. You can see that this is a rather big room, easily three stories tall and containing both artifacts from both the current age and the Old World, in fact a remarkable number of Old World equipment appears to be remarkably intact even working. A respectable kitchen in the corner of the room, a small gym, and what appears to be a large black, flat box mounted in front of a small couch that currently Mary is lying down on top of Arum nearby. Oksana too is sitting next to Wendy right now. The entire room has the same glass windows overlooking the entire library from the top all the way down to the bottom.

“Hello Brooklyn...” Oksana says in a rather melancholy tone of voice as she looks down at Mary.

Truth be told you feel a bit giddy over all this functioning Old World tech in one place, but you have business to attend to.

(What do?)

Now people may realize the brackets on Brooklyn's sheet.

I read what the votes were last thread, and that's what I read them as. I just want to confirm if that's what you all want before the DP is spent.

For those who don't want to open it

(Space Control Average -> Good! (360 DP))
(Axes Good! -> Great! (45 DP))
(Politics from Good! to Great! (45 DP))
(1210/1329)

I heard some increasing of politics as well, is that still a thing?

As for the allies, I noticed no one ever spent DP on them and quite it seems more work for both me and my players to constantly update them. All your allies are gaining skills, but right now they're on autolevel. You may be able to pick out more specific things for them later on, but right now you can assume Mina has indeed upgraded her skills so she isn't blown away in the dust by Brooklyn or other new NPC's

Looking over the previous thread, could I make a minor request? Either replace the "lord title with something else, or stop calling every noble "Lord whatever." Its just confusing. Also, I'd think a pride demon duke would murder anyone who called him a "mere" lord so it doesn't make much sense.

Fair enough.

I will keep calling Dio Lord Dio though. I enjoy the ring to it

Did we get more than 600 DP? According to that we only had 569 free DP to spend.

"Hello Oksana. Ah, sorry about the mess." you say to her over on the couch.

“No it’s not your fault Brooklyn. It’s just one of the hazards that comes with the job.” Oksana says with a heavy sigh.

“Did you find out what the poison was?” you ask.

“Peanut oil.” Wendy flatly replies.

“Really? I expected something far worse, no offense.” you reply.

“Mary was extremely allergic to peanuts before she became a full fledged Succubus. While I don’t think it will kill her, it certainly does the job of stopping her dead in her tracks.” Oksana mutters.

“They also laced it with Hydra blood for a longer lasting sort of poison.” Arum then adds. “I honestly thing it’s because she’s a Laminian that she survived and is actually recovering now.”

“They knew Mary’s weakness, knew I wouldn’t be there, so they bet that she’d be there in place of me.” Wendy says with a sigh, before what seems to be a flame lighting in her eyes, the ground seeming to visibly tremble beneath your feet. “If I could only leave this god forsaken prison...”

...Oh right, the Greed Demon’s have some sort of deal hammered out where Wendy is allowed to leave the library, which has been ongoing for at least a few centuries by now.

They'll probably say that this is a dangerous plan, but remind them about Fredrika knowing about the Queens.

"You know, I could probably convince the Knights of Nii to try to take him out for you. In other news, we need to bust Fredrika at least out of jail, fast. Don't suppose you could contact your sister?" you ask.

“The knights of Ni will not take out Dis.” Arum replies frankly.

“Why not?” you ask.

Wendy takes a deep breath, the room you’re in now ceasing to shake. “Dis realizes he’s in deep shit. He’s not going to let his bodyguards out of his sight until he’s back at home base. The best we can hope for is weakening the fronts.”

“I thought he was overconfident.” you reply.

“He is, but he knows that a deck is stacked against him when it’s really stacked. Pretty much every sort of Succubi are baying for blood right now, and while Dis is strong he cannot take on every single one of us in the city, even those remotely capable of fighting.”

“Dis is also well known. We’d have a few powerful new enemies who may attempt to come after the Succubi population in retaliation.” Wendy replies.

“That would only happen if he dies. I mean look what he did to the meeting!” you point out.

Wendy puts her hand to her chin, deep in thought for lengthy pause. “As much as I want them dead, my main concern would be those damn Greed Demons.”

“The Greed Demons?” you ask.

“Yes, it’s no secret they wanted the library all for themselves. When the war kicked off, us Okarian’s made the Greed demons pay for every inch of land once they recovered from their mysterious plague. The Greed Demons wanted the library, so they literally told the Pride Demons that they’d be handling it completely in order to not share their prize. When it became clear they were not going to win, they instead started to sabotage the geomancy of the library in order to destroy the entire thing. Back then, we only had enough Okarian’s to defend one location, and not handle defending five additional node points.” Wendy explains.

“So you struck the deal.” you ask.

“Yes. The Greed Demons would be allowed access to the library, but legally it would still be owned and operated by Okarians.” Wendy explains. “As part of one of my deals, I am forbidden to leave the library under any circumstances. If I do, it would count as me conceding the library to the Greed Demons, who would boot us all out in order to gain access to the arcane knowledge within. That’s all Greed Demons care about, hoarding as much knowledge as they can from others.”

“Hm... Well I got some backup from the Knights of Ni in secret, and we’re not in the same boat as during the war many centuries ago. What if we could get the other demons to help out? I’m sure the other clans would do anything to help us out, and in addition I could secure the services of some Rage Demons as well.” you add.

“That would significantly boost our chances yes. How sure are you able to do such things?” Wendy asks you.

“Very.” you reply confidently.

“Good, do so. The node points are critical for the powering of the Library. If too many fall, the space magic sustaining the inside of this space will collapse and take a quarter of Old TO with it.” Wendy replies.

“The Greed Demons would seriously take out all this arcane knowledge and that much of Old TO?” you ask skeptically.

“If they can’t get it? Yes, most certainly. They’ve tried it once before, and I bet my life they’ll try it again.” Wendy replies.

“I don’t mean to offend Brooklyn, but I may have a better plan.” Arum states.

“Which is?” you ask.

“You’re not thinking of the Laminian way of doing this: Go straight for the head. Rather than attacking Dis, we should attack what keeps him here, Lord Dio.” Arum states. “If Dio has nobody to repay favors to, then he won’t stay around another second.”

“He seemed quite... attached to Fredika though.” you warn.

“He probably wanted her as a trophy. Still, getting one leader from Dis should be far easier than getting all of them from under him.” Arum replies.

“But Lord Dio is probably harder to attack than Dis. He’s in an extremely fortified castle with many guards.” you point out.

“Not exactly. Something this big? He’s going to go to New TO to brag to anyone who’d listen. He’d be on the road to New TO starting tomorrow, and he’d be a hell of a lot easier than Dis to kill.” Arum points out.

"Lord" Dio is a duke right?"
Also confused as hell. The deal was that Wendy couldn't leave the Library without marrying the Greed demon. Thus, we have Confirmed Celestian agents take him out, freeing her to move because the deal is now void since he's a smoking corpse. I never suggested killing Dis.
>>
>>33255919
yup Clearly stated that the reason she can't leave is because the local Greed demon lord said she can't unless he marries her.

I agree attacking lord dio on the road would be far easier. that would be our best bet.

“I thought the deal was you couldn’t leave unless you agree to marry some Greed Demon.” you say to Wendy.

“Yes, part of it. Our deal is technically a truce or a cease fire.” Wendy explains.

“Therefore in actuality, you’re still at war.” you reply.

“Technically yes. The Greed Demons would agree to end the war if I agreed to marry a specific Greed Demon who I shall not name. The problem comes from the fine print.” Wendy replies.

“Greed Demon culture has dowries for marriages from the female’s family to the male’s. For a Succubus, who is at the bottom of the demonic hierarchy according to the Greed Demons, the female would need to offer a large sum in exchange for marrying into nobility. For Wendy, that basically means the library.” Oksana says as she continues to look down at Mary.

“Even if I didn’t somehow have the library in the deal, I’d need to share everything with the Greed Demons, and I have enough trouble with them trying to steal books from our library as is.” Wendy replies.

“Can you contact Luna?” you ask Wendy.

“I tried, but she must be in a warded area. My knowledge of space magic is somewhat limited, and the ones who I can trust are slim.” Wendy replies. “Even Mother has had trouble breaking through Luna’s wards.”

“So when can we expect her?” you ask.

“Between now and never. I said it was an emergency, so I only hope she’s sober enough to actually comprehend my message.” Wendy replies.

“‘Lord’ Dio is also a Duke right?” you ask.

“Helll no, he’s a Baron at best, though he would want you to believe he’s one! Baron’s come directly after Lord’s, so while he may be strong he’s infinitely easier than Dis is.” Arum replies. “His main speciality is Ice magic, but also a very heavy amount of social skills.”

“Then the Knights of Nii have a new target.” you reply aloud.

Just as you said this, Oksana begins to appear transparent.

“I’ll resummon in a bit mother.” Wendy says as Oksana starts flicking.

“Yes, please do Wendy.” Oksana says as she leans down to give a kiss on Mary’s cheek.

“Making use of the ritual I see?” you ask.

Wendy takes your hand, squeezing it tightly. “You have no idea Brooklyn. From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough. Us finding our mother was alive and well filled our hearts with hope once again. We have something to look forward to in the future, rather than a thick fog where nothing is certain.”

“I’m just glad to help.” you reply with a small smile.

“Luna’s back in the house!” A girl throwing open the doors of the room screams, throwing open the doors of the room with a small backpack around her back. She appears to be wearing very dirty clothing covered in dust, brown reinforced leather with a cowboy style hat. Short, brown hair can be seen around the rim of her head along with brown eyes.

“M-My lady! I tried to stop her, but she just kept charging ahead!” a guard says in coming from behind Luna. “She even tilted all the paintings and objets d’art on the way to your chambers!”

Wendy sighs. “Going down that hallway is going to give me such a headache now... Still Luna, I’m both and amazed that you actually replied to my summons.”

“Yea yea I wasn’t even going to come at all. I mean I found this really *awesome* ruin with these stupid beyonder traps, damn idiots just keep charging at our group no matter how many we killed!” Luna laughs in victory as she walks over to the large white and silver object in the room, pulling out a can of elixir called ‘Coca-Cola’. From what you know, something the people used in the old world to perk themselves up.

“What made you decide to come back?” Arum asks.
>>
[2/2]

“Arum! You little bitch!” Luna seems to be happy as she walks over to Arum, giving her some sort of fist bump gesture. “I decided it was time for a break, plus the cute one in the group doesn’t seem to have thing for preggo’s.”

“YOU’RE PREGNANT!?” Wendy yells out in disbelief, her calm facade shattering.

“Yup.” Luna says as she rolls up her shirt, a very noticeable bulge in her stomach. “Little gal’s been baking for about six months now.”

“Ah... Ah....” Wendy seems stunned as she hears this.

“It probably happened when I was really piss loaded drunk and I wanted to see if the extra danger would add more thrill. Besides, high time we had new blood in this family.” Luna casually explains as she drops her shirt, downing the soda.

“You were adventuring for nearly six months while pregnant with our mother’s first grandchild!?” Wendy exclaims. "And you didn't even tell us until now!?"

“Yea but this was real low level shit. Kinda like fighting level 40 enemies when you’re level 70 in World of Warcraft.” Luna says before locking eyes with you. “Who the hell are you?”

“My name is Brooklyn Browning, a Court Mage from Fort Hope. I’m h-”

“Oh perfect, a new lacky!” Luna says as she takes off her backpack and tosses it to you with one arm, before walking up a flight of stairs to the second floor. “I’m gonna take a bath then a rest after the shit I’ve been through, and tell Mary to stop sleeping on the damn couch. She looks like she’s 14 but she’s not supposed to act like it.”

As she leaves, Wendy’s eyebrow visibly twitches as she hears all this.

“Good to see some things ever change.” Arum replies. "And unofficially on behalf of the Subota's, forgive Luna, she's a bit of a wild child."

“I was going to use something less vulgar, but yes that accurately describes her.” Wendy replies.

“Can we still trust her?” you ask Wendy. “I mean she didn’t even know he sister was poisoned!”

“Heaven’s no. Had enough of that with my other mother.” you reply. “She... Must have powerful space magic in order to call her like this.”

“She’s one of the best people I know in that regard. She’s the one who helps maintain the space magic on this place once every 50 years and pulled more than enough weight in the Science Lord wars. I wouldn’t have called her if Mary was just incapacitated, but in order to resist any sort of full blown revolt, we need the best user of space magic possibly to block the entrance portals to Canada.” Wendy replies.

“Isn’t that a problem since Edmonton is a few months away?” you ask.

“For Luna it’s a single step. She can only make portals, but she can teleport instantly at will, and if she wanted I’m pretty sure she has a decent chance at teleporting into Dio’s castle if she felt like it.” Wendy explains. “You’re using space magic yourself I see.”

“Yea, just a warp field to help buffer physical attacks.” you reply.

“The warp field is good as it helps Okarian’s take physical hits better. It’s no plate armour or mana shield, but it doesn’t come with any of the downsides. You’re only a little bit below me, and at the next stage you should be able to increase volume or overlap the space of small objects with others.” Wendy explains. “Luna uses overlapping light attacks with each other other. Your unique spells may be different, but they could be improved by that.”

“I’ll give it a shot, thanks.” You reply.

>>

This.
I am curious if we can create pockets of safety within our area attacks. Avoiding friendly fire.

>>
>>33260841
We currently have Good, so she has Great!, based on that.
>>
>>33260951
Technically, she could have good with a specialization, but that would be a bad idea.
>>
>>33260951

Average actually, she has Good!

I didn't implement the changes yet, just wanted to make sure I didn't see any last minute vetoes, but it looks good so far.
>>
[1/2]

“I do have a few questions. Is there anything in space control that would let me avoid hitting allies?” you ask.

“There is yes, at least for certain bombardment attacks. Open a wormhole and send quick attacks through it repeatedly. If you position the portals right, you should be able to bombard an area from all sorts of angles without hitting any allies.” Wendy explains.

“But not for super nuclear blasts?” you ask.

“You could try to cast a portal in order to take an ally away from the blast radius, but even with Luna’s level of magic you often need to mix fate or time to set up the ritual ahead in advance or set a trigger for the portal, as usually there’s not enough time to cast both it and the nuke before it hits.” Wendy explains.

“Back when I was fighting Dis, he managed to dispell all of my soligrams in a heartbeat with some odd light orb attack. Is there any way to avoid such a thing in the future?” you ask.

“Inquiry, Soligrams.” Wendy asks.

“Solidified like constructs.” you reply.

“Ah yes. I wasn’t there, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a dispell, just an area of effect attack.” Wendy explains.

“It was.” Arum replies back.

“There we go. There’s often not much you can do about that, as area of effects tend to destroy soligrams on a good hit. My best bets would be to often wait until your opponent cannot react in time to deal with your soligrams or attempt to dispel such things. The only other option I can say is that the Soligrams are limited by your own abilities, so learning how to dodge or parry better may also increase their odds. I’d generally be very careful with light constructs against foes who can use area of effect spells, as they’re simply not as durable as elementals or Beyonder summons.” Wendy explains.

“Arum, are you still able to go ahead with the Succubus Village?” you ask.

“Most likely I will be. I had trouble fighting off two Envy Demon’s back at the meeting, the fight will be far to above my own head. Once I sent off the fighters I’ll be focusing my efforts on the village.” Arum says leaning back into the couch.

“During an attack?” you ask.

“Best time to do it. Enemies are going to be focused on the front lines rather than you.” Arum points out.

>>
>>33262620

We should ask if the greed demons would try to blow up the library during the revolt
>>
[1/2]

“Do you have any advice for using light and dark together?” you ask.

“Don’t be distracted by the controls and lose sight of your uniques, that goes for nearly every Succubus. There many be some controls more powerful than your unique spells, but unique spells almost always give more power per bit of aether that you’ve got. Tossing black holes may be nice, but if you can make a miniature sun and explode it with your unique powers, then most of the time the sun is going to be cheaper and more damaging for you.” Wendy replies. “But above all, use your head. If you’re fighting an army and you have a single fire laser or a black hole, pick the tool that can destroy armies. Lastly, compared to other schools of magic you’re going to be a lot more offensively based, but that’s just a personal opinion.”

“Is there any idea what the Greed Demon’s are going to throw at us when we attempt a revolt?” you ask.

“Overwhelming amounts of psionic and magical energies. Even if they lack specialists on par with our family, nearly every sort of Greed Demon with a vested interest in the library is going to try something. We have battlemages, but they’re low in number. We’d need hard hitting physical attackers. Ones capable of taking a psionic beating.” Wendy replies. “Aside from that, literally any and every control you can think of. Probably a Clockstopper if they’re really desperate.”

“Clockstoppers, you mean the living anti-magic zones?” you reply.

“Yes. An Envy demon that was native to the Greed Demon’s home plane, the Greed Demons made a deal with the Pride Demons to have the Pride Demons deal with them. Any sort of magic or technology with an area is greatly hindered if not rendered outright useless. They’re often the only time anyone ever uses physical attacks without any aether backing them up. If you’re a magic user and you see one, get a physical attacker to deal with them ASAP. They’re the closest thing to a dedicated mage killer that the universe has spit out at us.”

“Thankfully they’re nearly extinct.” Arum states.

A and C

We should stop ignoring every chance to see Brooklyn's family.
>>
>>33266501
Its less that I am ignoring it and more so that I was going to vote for it after AB
>>
>>33266729
There would be another AB after this AB, and we would never get to C.
>>
>>33266779
Maybe, but honestly as it stands there are more important things to deal with than family visits.
>>
>>33266814
>watching someone else's family argument is more important than having our own family argument
>>
>>33266829
Sure, family arguments are the worst. At least with watching other peoples misery we might learn something.
>>
>>33266846
We might learn something from Brooklyn's family too. Remember that lots of plot hooks into pretty high level stuff exist on that side too.

And think of it from Brooklyn's perspective. Seeing your family before you go into a deadly fight is very important, you might not get another chance.
>>
>>33266814
not really, wendy and mary and arum can deal with it, meanwhile we've no fucking idea how our own family is doing in the wake of all this chaos
>>
>>33266887
This chaos doesn't seem like something wide spread, at least before next step.
>>
>>33266918
it still was a good point

all of the demon war stuff has tons of people looking after it, many of them more capable than brooklyn

meanwhile brooklyn's personal life can only be managed by brooklyn

and it seems kind of metagamey, to ignore what the character would likely want personally and instead going for the option that gives the most exposition for the readers of the thread
>>
>>33266918
except for the fact that some of said chaos was located near our sisters workplace and our family has no one to protect them from the entire city being on edge and demon our for blood

stop thinking like they are totally fine and that someone elses family is more important than ours, because your going to get our killed
>>
>>33266959
See, Unless I seriously missed something: I didn't once see where brooklyn missed his family, and by extension you bringing in the metagame aspect is complete bullshit. Brooklyn spent years away from any family what so ever, and now is spending frequent time with father.

In short thats you wanting to see family and less brooklyn wanting to see family.

>>33266977
>except for the fact that some of said chaos was located near our sisters workplace

and thats the piece of information that I was missing to explain the sudden concern.
>>
>>33266993
so, you think that not being concerned or interested in your family is the natural state for people, and the opposite must be proven?

alrighty then

>Brooklyn spent years away from any family what so ever, and now is spending frequent time with father.
both of which are excellent arguments for seeing the rest of the family
>>
>>33266993
>Brooklyn spent years away from any family
yeah, and did you happen to read his reunion with them? the concern he had for them, and his father?

because both his reunion with his uncle and sister, as well as freeing his dad, would and did make him mighty concerned about them

“Speaking about family, I need to go over and deal with my own family tragedies now.” you reply to Wendy. “By the way, did the Witches tell you about Beck?”

“You need to be specific, there’s a lot about Beck that I know and have to deal with.” Wendy replies to you.

“The one where Beck may be making a sort of secret superweapon and they’re looking up possible Miyian replacements?” you ask.

Wendy just sighs. “No.... No that is definitely a new thing. Guards.”

Upon say that, two guards from the hallway step into the room.

“Go get Trickster Trena and bring her here. I don’t care what else she’s doing, I want her here now.” Wendy orders the guards.

The guards simply bow before moving out of the room.

“Daymn, that was a fine ass shower! Haven’t had hot water in days!” Luna says as she walks out of the bathroom, a towel around her neck being the only thing covering her breasts, but at least wearing some lace panties at the bottom.

“Inquiry, why are you not wearing proper underwear.” Wendy asks her sister.

“Because my tits are starting to get all swollen now and bras are feeling way too tight for comfort.” Wendy says as she sits onto the couch, her right arm seeming to disappear for a second before pulling out food from thin air. “Good thing you still make lasagna on Tuesdays because damn I love pasta!”

You can see Wendy’s eyebrow twitch again.

Even as you walk down the hall, you can immediately hear the screaming of the two sisters back in the room, Wendy not waiting for Oksana being she begins tearing into her sister for being an irresponsible pregnant bitch.

“Does... That happen often when Lady Luna comes back?” you ask one of the guards.

The guard you ask only nods in reply.

After getting your library card back, you decide that it’s time to go and see your uncle and sister and see how they’re doing, since they both should be off work now.

“Brooklyn! My bo-Girl!” your uncle says as he leaves the apartment building.

“Going out?” you ask them both.

“Uncle wants to go and see that stupid Lord Dio speech.” Excel frets in a small voice.

“Excel! Show some respect for the ruling Lord and protector of our fair city!” you uncle sternly tells her.

“Brooklyn!” your uncle calls out.

“Come on Excel, let’s go grab a bite to eat or something.” you say calling out to her.

“Fuckin’ A!” Excel mentions behind you as she she begins to follow.

You eventually manage to both settle down into a cafe of sorts. “So by the sounds of it, Uncle has been more of a handful than your work.”

Excel sits down with her hot cocoa. “Especially as of late. Uncle has heard about how Lord Dio personally captured those Succubus Leaders.”

“...Personally captured?” you ask.

“Yea, I mean didn’t you hear the news Brooklyn? Everyone around the city has been talking about how Lord Dio captured most of the Succubus leaders in a plan to overthrow the entire town for an aether pit for them.” Excel explains. “Worst yet, Uncle completely buys into his crap and wants to register as a soldier in Lord Dio’s army first thing tomorrow before they ship off.”

“Did you tell him about Dad?” you ask.

“No, I figured Dad would tell Uncle if he was alive himself or not.” Excel replies. “Personally I don’t want uncle marching off into what’s an obvious death trap.”

“Obvious death trap?” you ask.

The Subota's are stronger than you.

There are probably only a few people in the Wizards or Sorcerer's guilds that are stronger than you. Bards may be non-combative, but their emotion magics hit Okarian weak spots. Brooklyn is about on par with Trena.

“Uncle, I have an idea. You’re a hard working man who’s been loyal to his job for years. Don’t you think it’s time for a vaction?” you ask him, throwing in some magical force behind it. “I mean, they probably have specials to Hawaii.”

“Hawaii?” your uncles ask.

“Oh yea, you know the place. The one with all of the tame catwoman who’d love to have a big, strong man such as yourself.” you say tempting.

Your uncle replies by pulling the straps up on his bag. “Excel, Brooklyn, I’ve made up my mind. I’m leaving!”

Excel looks shocked by this. “Uncle! You’ll b-”

“For Hawaii! Keep a watch on the house and don’t let any strange men inside!” your uncle says patting Excel on the shoulder before leaving.

“...Wow I can’t believe he went for that.” Excel said.

“I can’t believe you didn’t expect he’d go for such a thing.” you reply, honestly wondering if you’d needed to use magic for that conversational bit at all.

(What now?)
>>
>>33271278
Tell Excel about our succulent butt.
>>
>>33271278
Ask Excel if she really wants to live in Old T.O. tell her about the village that's being rebuilt near Fort Hope, or that she can stay in Fort Hope.
>>
>>33271357
We should try to recruit Excel, she does want to fight for a cause she believes in. A loyal melee fighter could help.
>>
>>33271402
Are you suggesting we get our sister to become a succubus too?
>>
>>33271402
>>33271612
good idea

the best way to do it would be like this, first we get uncle to the succuqueen shrine and turn him into a succubut so he gets a taste of his own medicine, then after he's on top of things again we show her her new aunt

she won't be able to resist and will become a succubus as well
>>
>>33271612
>Are you suggesting we get our sister to become a succubus too?
Not the anon. But ultimately, yes.
I don't think Brooklyn wants to see her sister grow old and die. Still, it's Excel's choice.
>>
>>33271278
Lead question so Brooklyn can reveal the succubut.
>>
>>33271706
Well said. A pretty important moment for that plan is right now, though. I can't imagine Excel will be upset about Brooklyn being a succubus, though. Maybe at first and maybe because of her competitive nature. But she seems to get along with succubi just fine in general.
>>
>>33271278
>(What now?)
if there still isn't enough, consider expanding the "im a succubus" conversation to include "you can be one too, eventually, if you want, so i dont have to see my sister die"

it should be clear that it isnt an immediate thing, but the offer is on the table

depends on how the first part of the conversation goes, though
>>
Given that you didn’t even tell Excel about your nature yet, you figure it’s about time to try and tell her that you’re a Succubus.

“Excel, I got something important to tell you. When I tell you, you have to promise not to scream.” you tell her.

“...Ohmigod! You’re pregnant aren’t you!?” Excel says in a giddy tone.

“What!?” you exclaim.

“Well Uncle said that you were probably experimenting lately, but there’s no shame in being a single mom as a Court Magician Brookyln! If anythings it mean free nannies!” Excel exclaims.

(How do you wish to break the news to her that you’re a Succubus?)
>>
>>33271811
first tell her that we arent pregnant and dont have sex with men

then take her to a private area and just get it over with, hope for the best

if any excuses are neccesary or may soften the blow (brooklyn would know how excel will react to them) try something like this:

"I'm sorry I lied, but try to put yourself in my shoes. How do you just tell people something like that? Also, uncle was in the room with us."

after that, if things did go well, tell her that she can become a succubut as well eventually, as per >>33271798
>>
>>33271811
"Well, I am not pregnant, mostly because I don't have sex with men. However, my secret is very much related to my body, though not in the way you would expect"
And get our demonic traits out
>>
>>33271857
oh yeah, also a possibility would be that things may get pretty dangerous for brook's life at this point, so that could be used if excel starts to overreact

if she does overreact we could go all

"Well, you know how dangerous it is for my kind right now. We might never get the chance to see each other."

something like that would put a stop to any tantrum if the two people care for each other, which excel and brooklyn obviously do
>>
>>33271909
>the chance to see each other."
to see each other AGAIN is what i meant
>>
>>33271811
>Excel says in a giddy tone.
I like her
>>
>>33271612
I was mostly sujesting we try to get her on our side, the choice would be her's.
>>
“Excel, I’m not pregnant. First off I don’t have sex with men. Secondly, spells for females to impregnate other females won’t work on us.” You reply.

“Us? What are you talking about?” Excel asks.

Upon saying that, you let out your demonic traits for Excel, who’s eyes simply grow wide.

“I’m sorry I had to keep this a secret for so long, but you k-”

“...How long have you been my big sister!?” Excel immediately blurts out in an angry tone.

“Pardon?” you ask.

“My sister! How long were you using your shapeshifting powers to hide that you were a Succubus!?” Excel demands as she grabs one of your horns, pulling it down.

“Ow! Ow! They’re attached to my skull!” you protest.

“As is my foot if you don’t tell me how the hell you kept this a secret for so long!” Excel yells back. “I may not remember a lot when we were young, but I definitely remember you having a dick when you went to the Richardson baths! How long were you and Dad in on this!? How come I’m not a S- Oh my god you’re dad’s illegitmate child aren’t you!?”
>>
>>33272748
>just letting out the demonic traits so she can panic as much as possible

oh brooklyn

you brought this on yourself
>>
>>33272748
Tell her about the shrine thing, just instead of only turning Brooklyn female (like we told her before), it turned him into a Succubus.
>>
>>33272748
You idiot! I was about to explain things now LET GO! I'm not some illegitimate child I'm your brother! That thing that turned me into a woman made me a succubus too!
>>
>>33272748
No, the old world device that turned me into a woman turned me into a succubus. Dad got out because I held the leader of the celestian college at gunpoint so he'd let him go without using his control over Dad's soul to kill him. You need to go back to Fort Hope, because tomorrow I'm going to kill that weakling prick Dio since Dis won't be around to hold his hand
>>
>>33272748
>ow come I’m not a S-

What is that supposed to be?
>>
>>33272859
She has Succubus envy.
>>
>>33272748
>How come I’m not a S-
well, that's a nice place to blurt it in i suppose

"No, I'm not illegitimate! And you could be if you wanted!"
>>
>>33272875
Now I feel dumb.
>>
>>33272882
that is, she could be a succubut if she wanted, not illegitimate

though brooklyn making that verbal mistake might just make the scene funnier
>>
“You idiot! I was about to explain things now LET GO! I'm not some illegitimate child I'm your brother! That thing that turned me into a woman made me a succubus too!” you exclaim.

“BULL. SHIT.” Excel says pulling your horn up.

“Owowow!” you mutter.

“I may not be as smart as you Brooklyn, but I know that the Old World didn’t even know about Demons! If they did, we wouldn’t be living in this shitty age!” Excel states. “Now answer me, how did you become a demon!? And why does a man have a far better woman's body than I do!?"
>>
>>33273086
It's maaaaaaagic.
>>
>>33273086
tell her that it's a secret but it can be arranged for her to become a succubut herself

she can have a better body or whatever she wants after that
>>
>>33273130
Judging from her reqction, I dont think this is an appropriate time
>>
>>33273145
why not? it's the best answer we can give her and she's kind of insistent
>>
>>33273086
Let go first THEN I'll explain!
>>
>>33273086
If I tell you, people will kill you.
>>
>>33273086
I can't tell you that, and for a very good reason, alright? Think about the stuff that's going on right now between demons. It's dangerous!

If all you want to know if it would be possible for you to become a succubus too, then I could tell you that yes, you could.
>>
“I can’t tell you right now! I swear!” you plead to Excel.

“Can’t or won’t!?” Excel says pulling on your horn again.

“Ah! Won’t! Plausible deniability exists for a reason you know!” you plead to Excel.

“And what could be so dangerous that you can’t even tell your own sister!? I bet father already knows!” Excel protests.

A) Tell her about the plans to attack Lord Dio and the Old TO takeover going on really soon.
B) Attempt to bribe her with a Succubus Body
C) Other
>>
>>33273390
>B) Attempt to bribe her with a Succubus Body
let's suggest this and see how she reacts.
Maybe even mention that she can choose any of the clans.
>>
>>33273390
>B) Attempt to bribe her with a Succubus Body
boob envy may save us.
>>
>>33273390
A)
Once its safe to do so I will tell you everything. Even how to become a succubus if you want! Now please let go!
>>
>>33273390
B

Also, point out to her that if she takes the offer, she will obviously learn the entire truth.

You know, in case she doesn't notice it in her panic mode.
>>
>>33273390
>B) Attempt to bribe her with a Succubus Body
>>
>>33273390
A and B.
>>
>>33273390
A, not B. B is her choice, not something to be used as a bribe.
>>
>>33273390
B, We shall let boob envy lead the way.
>>
>>33273499
it's a valid situation for it, since all we want is for her to calm down

if you ask me, definitely not A

why get her mixed up in all that?
>>
>>33273390
A)
after we explain things we can offer the transformation
>>
"If you let me go then I'll tell you how to get one too!" you blurt out.

"...Wait. Me? A Succubus?" Excel asks, letting go of your horn.

"Yes! Of any caste you want!" you blurt out.

"Ayarian." Excel blurts out.

"Pardon?" you ask.

"Ayarian. I want to be an Ayarian. A member of the caste who the Pride Demons are so scared of they had to grind them down into the dirt. Plus I swear one of my Aide Co-workers is one with how she keeps finding out about crap all the time..." Excel mumbles. "So... When will I get it?"

...Well that was easier than you thought.
>>
>>33273707
"We can't do it here, it has to happen in a specific place back somewhere near Fort Hope. You'll have to come with me when I go back there."
>>
4chan is acting up...

>>33273707
it's a good thing uncle is probably halfway to hawaii by now, i doubt he'd take kindly to this

and now... we can make excel try to guess which caste brooklyn is
>>
>>33273707
"In a month or two. In the meantime, we have to get you out of the city. Things are coming to a boil, and I don't want you cought in the crossfire, especially since I'm important enough that the pride demons will go through you to get to me, as soon as they figure out my real identity anyway
>>
>>33273803
I'm pretty sure we bought portals
>>
>>33273803
if we send her back there, let's send her to fort hope proper, not the succubus town we're making like someone suggested earlier

seems like it would be safer
>>
>>33273707
That "trap". I fell into, it was a specific magical shrine where the transformation could be done. You'll have to come with me back to fort hope to have it done. In the meantime you're going to have to move in with me. This city is about to get very dangerous and I want you in a safe place.
>>
>>33273913
Nah not yet, she is still vulnerable mortal
>>
>>33273913
With how many times our places of residence got attacked in the time we came here, I don't think having her move in with us is the safest thing.
>>
>>33273913
>>33274137
yeah, moving in together is a bad idea
>>
>>33274137
I think they mean our place of residence back at the fort.
>>
>>33273707
"Ok seriously now, are you really sure? This is life long decision you are making on a whim!"

Although, it seems like she was fantasizing about this.
>>
>>33274184
>life long decision
from her current point of view, much longer than that

and yeah, we are obviously in wish fulfillment territory for her
>>
"In a month or two. In the meantime, we have to get you out of the city. Things are coming to a boil, and I don't want you caught in the crossfire, especially since I'm important enough that the pride demons will go through you to get to me, as soon as they figure out my real identity anyway.” you reply.

“Fuck that, I’ll be fine.” Excel waves.

“Pardon?” you ask.

“You can change your face like you can with clothing right?” Excel asks.

“Yea, rather easily.” you say becoming a taller, bustier version of Excel, a small smirk spreading across your face.

Excel looks at you unamused. “As I was saying, I’ll be fine in that case. Just let me work at my job until then and no one will be the wiser.”

A) Attempt to get he Subota’s to hide her
B) Attempt to get Arum to hide her
C) Other
>>
>>33274179
Wasn't that also destroyed? Unless you mean the castle, which I'm not sure will work, cause Excel isn't really a noble.
>>
>>33274229
>C) Other
Please don't be overconfident, you are my one and only sister.
>>
>>33274244
Have the lamian's cook up some kind of "new servant" thing for why she is there. and its still a hell of a lot safer then being anywhere near TO.

>>33274229
B
>>
>>33274229
"Unless you get caught up in a random sweep and the pride demons ask you questions. Sister, you can't deal with mortal magic."
>>
>>33274229
Well she needs to go to the shrine, which is closer to Fort Hope. And we need to find the food/energy for the queen that will turn her.
>>
>>33274229
a, b and c

c is asking her to reconsider and please go to fort hope

>>33274244
brooklyn isnt really a noble either, and it works there fine
>>
Anywho it's getting to be that time and I'm running low, so that'd be it for the thread this week.

Thread will still be used for comments and whatever
>>
>>33273865
portals? go off somewhere tp make excel into a succubut right now while succubutdom is at war and in peril?
>>
>>33274789
I NEED AN EBOOK OF THIS, WHERE?!
>>
>>33275066
Have any QM's managed to make any money off their quests?

a FEW of them deserve it.
>>
>>33275066
an ebook of the quest? well there's >>33254173
>>
>>33274866
just pointing out a month is not needed, on top of that we could step out gather some fodder up real quick and then feed to queens and be back by dinner (theoretically anyways)
>>
>>33275540
How close are we to busting the queens out anyway?
>>
>>33274789
Hey Sandact i have an idea for the annihilator shot. Why dont we just add more layers to that thing to give it greater Surface Area contact between light and darkness.

So instead of having a light core and dark shell, we can use the same amount of aether, but have a smaller core, then a dark layer, then a light layer, then a dark layer.
>>
>>33274229
>B) Attempt to get Arum to hide her
see if she can't smuggle her back to Fort Hope, we're going to have to go that way to succubutt her anyway
