Last time among the cult Forbidden Lore was finally decided upon. The holy grail of resources continues to taunt us so. We even got a sneak peak at one of the baddest mofos in this fucked up world.

Despite our best efforts the monsters continue to prove they ain't no bitch and it turns out despite the brave efforts of our forces to break a chain swarm it turned out we hadn't gotten rid of the zombies as expected. Despite the problems our forces...mostly made it out alive that is if they weren't thrown off the flyers to fall to their death for being 'infected'. Damn bandits are ruthless and despite how things ended up refused to take payment. Now they are gone to lick their wounds.

Bounties are still up btw and will be rewarded appropriately.

Which bountie was that? For appropriate pictures or for getting a link to all previous threads and discussion threads?

We heard some chatter on bandit comms. Apparently a certain Super Soldier has returned.

Meanwhile we have acquired additional forces in believers who stood in awe of our acts committed against the chain swarm and monster.

Keep pop simple, keep track of males and females and come up with an equation, like assume 1/3 of all females get pregnant within the "year" (a year is 12 turns?) and we receive that as a pop bonus from breeding every year. Include the current rules with people randomly joining on random event rolls and when we do awesome things and I think you have it.

Change the fraction of pregnancies for factions like mutants to 1/4. Bonuses for keeping food plentiful and moral up, shit like that.
>>
>>33430116
Then again, that presumes everyone ruts at exactly the same time of the year and only that time.

Why not set up a simple equation formula for each turn as the base pop increase, then modify it to be more or less pending random events.

I have to keep time relation to turns uncertain for the sake of sanity and making sure it doesn't become a clusterfuck.

Abstractness when it comes to time to turns is key.

Otherwise it would get ugly real quick realized that and changed it accordingly.

Mutants are gonna suffer so goddamn much when it comes to pop. They gonna get nerfed hard.

Bots I am gonna need to build a chart and modifiers relating to resources, materials, and existing infrastructure to determine their pop growth based upon usage.

Not including modifiers.

Higher quality of living will naturally cause a decline to pop growth. ect.

>>33430240
Trying to come up with formula including the affects of base stats and then other modifiers.

Easier said then done. If only I was better at maths.
>>
>>33430240
Break it down further, every 4 turns 1/9th of our female pop has a kid, or every 2 turns 1/18th, if you really want realism,
>>
>>33430294
Are you at all familiar with Excel? I could send you a file with the subcategories of pop growth (for humans at least, no idea for Mutants).

Give me a big list of every kind of factor that could affect population growth.
>>
>>33430359
*and then all you have to do is plug in the numbers.
>>
>>33430294
Bots should be the easy one, we only get new ones if we build new ones, or we create the infrastructure to have them be auto made, the rate at which they are made depending on how much we put into it.

I figure the difference between material bots and resource bots is about the difference from normal to badass military units.

>>33430359
Sup smartanon, your probably right, I'll bet a lot of our stats could be tracked on excel and in quickbooks very efficiently.

>>33430298
I need to avoid hard time in relation to turns for the sake of simplicity. I figured this out early on.

Otherwise shit would REALLY get complicated, hard to deal with, and not so fun.

Hence why I got rid of turns being in measurements of time. It gave much much more breathing room and prevented unnecessary conflict/hand wringing.

This was something I ditched back during the Memor and one of the larger overhauls I commited to.

Shit its amazing to see how far my system has come from those days...when I go back to see them I tend to flinch at seeing how far I have come.

Its only been a year and my groundwork shit is nearly done.

pop from what I can tell groundwork is somewhat simple.

Basically

Human base modifier(my bane)
Mutant= human base mod/2 +1 turn incubation per mutation including negz
Bots= 1 resource=to H base Special affected by Materials rule and pop surge growth limited to existing infrastructure(can only build so many bots per a turn).

>>33430294
When it comes to bots for more details their pop is reliant on resource value, material type, and existing infrastructure determines how their pop works.

After that you have to spend points or more precisely quantity to acquire pop.

>>33430359
One of the stuff I am trying to do is work out the modifiers.

Originally its gonna be base stat+other stat modifiers+outside modifiers.

The stat modifiers are pretty simple and straight forward you get can get a general idea of it by looking at >>33429814 as its far more certain. From there you include penalties/bonuses to figure out what the modifier is gonna be.

Problem is however outside modifiers which are not nearly so easy to get down.

>>33430445
Actually its only somewhat like that. Bots were pretty simple until i got into the modifers while making them a bit more complicated they are still easier then others.

Material bots you get MORE of them, faster, and they receive boons thanks to the less ramshackle, salvaged, crude nature of them.

With abstract turn times of course pop is going to be a bitch, if it is in fact a 9 month gestation period in your world, your going to have to wing it and randomly dole out babies....

Or you can come up with a new system for passage of time that is unrelated to turns!
I'll take that bounty in form of cash, check, or hero

>>
Rolled 84

>>33430593
Well correction they still 'are' in measurements of time i just made it much more abstract.

seems like a slow day today probably was the mechanics chatter that scared people off.

>>33430729
Yeah I sorta know that but I find it makes everything else much smoother...except for pop.

Which makes me consider what amount of turns i should make it.

When I go by that logic however it makes me realize it depends on how fast or slow I want it to be.

In a 'faster' game i could go as low as 5 turns for a human.

Slower ones i could double or even triple it.

really depends on the pacing one wants and you would still require the amount of actual pop growth.

This is of course your assuming to have the pop increase count all at 'once'. Instead of spreading it out over multiple turns but lower gains.

Shit is complicated.

Alright guys, let's think for a sec. We have 4 precious resources, we should focus on a task and get it accomplished soon.

Apart from training everyone to be combat ready and how to use jungle imbued weapons, what should our immediate goal be?

Should we seek for the presence the Prophetess sensed?

Mind you we also have the possibility of vastly upgrading our infrastructure and/or Technology with the waterlords and Ron the Scientist. If we find him a laboratory we could further compound our food and water output, or even discover a biofuel process and start selling even more to the Bandits in exchange for resources.

Only reason why I am 'somewhat' lenient on females in this setting is thanks to power armor, biomods, and history.

Even then they are never more then a small part.

Not to mention those 'mostly' female forces are rare as shit.

When you through in psi and magic it makes things even more wonky.

I do however try to make sure there is a clear base i keep to which even if I include all buffs still doesn't mean that they will never be more then an exception and wont be utter shit.

So let me make this clear the majority of combat forces are mostly if not entirely male.

Even among bandits the majority of their combat forces are ENTIRELY male.

Everywhere the majority of the combat forces you encounter will be ENTIRELY made up of males.

Those who aren't like that men will still be the majority.

Things admittedly got wonky when I had to include the affects of power armor(which nicely deals with the usual problems of female troops) and other fantastic measures.

This but me in a lurch which I am still attempting to figure out especially with no irl examples to use.
>>
>>33433935
Though I agree with you, it seems to stand that the main reason females aren't pressed into service as much as men is due to the fact that there is now an ever present and increased need for more men, part of the great race of survival between all the groups of the world, and it would be a waste of good wombs to send them to combat.
>>
Rolled 80

>>33433935
Seriously though power armor alone really messes with things.

Makes it so the technologically inclined factions can much more readily deploy female troops who aren't utter shit and considering their lack of numbers compared to the less tech happy factions this isn't strange.

When you throw in the fact of this setting never having the problems we have with bio ethics and never giving up on space it makes their tech level like our own...but very different as well.

They for one never slowed with their space development(this alone makes things interesting as hell and makes them quite advanced considering how amazingly effective space developed tech tends to affect everything).
They also never got fucked with bio research due to 'ethics'. Meaning their biotech extremely advanced compare to our own.

They experienced the fall around the time of them reaching our equivalent of the Singularity.

Right around that time shit went to hell in a hand basket that fell from the frying pan into the fire that was just a tiny part of the emerging clusterfuck.

this puts me in an odd lurch in many ways.

So while i can say female soldiers are not unheard of its highly unusual to see them beyond a support function if that unless they are of the higher tech factions. Those ones can actually afford to invest enough in their female troops to make sure they aren't utter shit if only due to power armor.

But yeah...weird setting.
>>
>>33434067
Meaning that, apart from those rare exceptions of culture, the only reason you would ever see a female in combat is if their skills prove more valuable than their ability to birth more population, or if they're barren and even still they would need to prove more valuable in combat rather than a teacher, medic, or other civilian life.

"The Soviets found that sniper duties fit women well, since good snipers are patient, deliberate, have a high level of aerobic conditioning, and normally avoid hand-to-hand combat."

>>33434112
Basically there are two VERY important things to remember when it comes to the key difference between this setting and our familiar Earth.

1 Their biotech never suffered any real bad hang ups overall.
2 They never stopped going after space.
3 they never really got to enjoy the fruits of their singularity horizon.

>>33434285
Red Army is admittedly inspired by commies but also by being a force of the 'people' and not just merely claiming to be. Basically they were formed by soldiers and higher ups who got disillusioned realizing one of two things.

1 They had merely helped replace the bourgeois.
2 It was not yet capable to realize the end goal.

Either way they realized the corruption, errors, and mistakes made.

So Red Army put themselves on ice...but awoken too late. They realized they had missed the date where they could ACTUALLY accomplish what their ideals were really all about(thanks to tech reaching the levels required so they could get it right this time) and that now more then ever the 'people' needed them.

And yes Red Army does actually use females extensively one of the only paramilitary groups to do so.

Even Warlord Slag was caught off guard about it especially with how good they were. Normally when he dealt with such forces they tended to be either for show(a hindrance) or in much smaller amounts.

Red Army Gals ain't like that.

You will see them used extensively in Red Army as the following.

Pilots.
Support.
Snipers.
Power Armored.
Spec Ops.

Warlord Slag laughed at the concept of usage of female combatants as a non minority until he truly faced Red Army.

He didn't laugh about it afterwards.

The two hugest things to remember are the first 2 btw as they are the biggest game changers considering the weaker rolls magic and psi take along with supers.

Supers btw were always very rare back even before the Fall one of the hugest things that kept them pushing was bringing down the 'superiority' down to the level of the common folk. For this they worked their asses off.

You know how we dream about how big deal the Singularity will be for us?

For them it was about cracking the supers. For you see they had techno bits from Super Geniuses that even millennia later they couldn't understand unless it was another super.

They had the occasional super human who could turn the tides of battle.

They basically were attempting to play catch up and their singularity was when the playing field was finally making it level. Same with magic and psi the idea was upon reaching it they could not only truly understand it but also use it.

Their singularity was one of being the great equalizer.

But right when it seemed to be in their grasp the Fall happened.

So sure they had supers, magic, and psi.

But it was all actually quite minor considering as far as the average person was concerned it was useless for them. Hence the technology and attempting to play catch up.

Constantly and always they attempted to play catch up. So while it would APPEAR that the big three magic, psi, and superhuman were major players.

They actually were nothing but a tease and a minor player that served as a goal.

That is my excuse why it isn't much more major or fantastic.

You know whats funny?

They had already achieved that to a degree...or to be more precise their super geniuses had.

Problem was know one could understand it how it was made/worked or really even make much use of it. A lot of the shit was useless to anyone but its creator as surprisingly often even other Super Geniuses couldn't crack it.

They had AIs for a surprisingly long time and built incomprehensibly by anyone but another Super Genius.

What their idea of the Singularity was that the AVERAGE person would be able to understand, make use of, and build their own. Whether it be magic, psi, tech, or super.

That was their singularity as they had theses teases of something more...so much more.

pieces of technology built by a super of whom it could take centuries before the average person could understand the principles behind it. Hell even millennia later if it happened at all.

These pieces of tech were considered 'black' if it wasn't understood. Thus they were locked up tighter then a nun's asshole standing before a demon. Rarely you would see them outside containment usually before they could be taken and locked up. Damn things could cause quite a bit trouble.

>The Great Addictive Equalizer

Otherwise known as its street name Syn which unsurprisingly outlived its more scientific name of whom only perhaps the Syn Syndicate still recalls unlike everyone else.

Syn simply put was the wonder drug to end all wonder drugs. It had so much potential one could literally acquire super powers. Want to be able to shoot lightning spit fire and shit gold?

Syn was for you.

It brought down domain of the super to the common man.

But at what cost?

How was it made nay invented?

No one actually remembers how Syn was discovered some like to say it was made by Super Geniuses to fuck with upstart lessers who sought the forbidden fruit and or wouldn't stay out of Super matters.

Others say it was an accidental discovery of some strange substance.

While yet others claim it to be a modified form of ancient brood ancestor strain.

Whatever it was it has been lost to history.

As for how its made...well there are certain facilities that still work tirelessly to churn sweet sweet syn out even after the fall it still seeks to quench the thirst for Syn.

Rolled 88

>>33438229
Problem was even before the Fall the hunger for syn was such that the production for it couldn't hope to keep up...and so the concept of recycling took place. Problem was to recycle one would need the bodies of its users...as syn once used had the bad habit of sticking around. However once your dead...well you don't need it now do you?

For the rich this simply meant during body preperation injects were made and withdrawn to harvest what could while still leaving a corpse.

To the not so fortunate there simply wasn't a corpse left as the entire thing was broken down to get back every single last precious drop of syn. To rejoin the cycle that is Syn.

That is whenever a horrific secret was discovered.

As it turns out while syn pure that is isn't addictive nor does it bear side effects...but the impure the recycled stuff does.

So it was mixed into supply and distributed especially among those who couldn't afford the 'good stuff'.

Now how about Syn usage?

Simply put Syn allowed the creation and usage of whatever is it.

Before that however you must 'design' what will be offered and then 'power' it. As it turns out the body by itself cannot do everything...and will require assistance for the more flashy effects or the initial investment.

Basically Syn by itself is damned near useless its only when combined does it have true value. That is if its pure.

The non pure stuff already has traces of impurities which allow it to have affects by itself....but also makes it much more addictive.

Even worst while pure syn by itself isn't addictive when mixed it becomes so just to a lesser degree. Whether it be from the design, body, mind, or power. But hey at least its to a lesser degree and more importantly no side effects if its all made up of the good stuff.

Sadly that is hardest to insure when it comes to the body itself.

what is most addictive however is the power of using it...its gifts and then the need to reuse them. So a certain item was designed something to give that 'boost' to allow one to keep chugging. It was this 'energy shot' that proved extremely addictive in fact it was the most addictive contrary to popular belief.

It fed upon the rush that is syn.

It fed upon the need to use that power.

It fed upon the urge to reuse.

It fed upon itself.

and made it all the sweeter.

This 'elixir' this 'energy shot' became simply known as Bliss.

so hierarchy wise

Bliss
Impure Syn
Pure Syn

is how it works.

Now how about the impure stuff? As it turns out Syn as the bad habit of picking stuff up and what gets worked into it even after being 'used' up still leaves traces of itself within. While you can do your best to purify unless your willing to destroy Syn itself some traces will remain. Those traces bear both side effects and make it more addictive.

>>33438462
The design. Syn allowed for the changes to make it happen.

Bliss offered the power if there wasn't enough within the body.

the design which is basically the 'engineered' or 'designed' component basically tells Syn what to do.

You want to shoot lightning from your finger tips?

Engineer the pattern for it then mix it with syn if there wont be enough energy to allow it to function by itself include a dose of Bliss to provide that extra 'oomph'.

Basically the pattern must be forged and syn allowed to accept its form. Its then follows said pattern modifying the user to make it happen.

Be aware if the body and the initial charge doesn't have the stuff capable Syn WILL prove fatal as it burns the body out attempting to make the transformation happen. It is quite the rush to say the least and why if its not minor a Bliss shot will be included.

Exactly how patterns work...very hard to tell. As the Syndicate keeps its mouth shut and as it turns out syn is VERY adaptable over what its willing to work with.

>>33438637
Speaking of brood. I had one idea for a brood type that hide as zombies. Infecting bodies and laying eggs for the young to grow. Seeing how they can change a environment and them selves. I thought what is to stop a brood from mimicking a lesser evil to keep them selves alive.
>>
>>33438840
That does have a basis in some IRL species, and it sounds awesome.
>>
Rolled 64

>>33438589
...You WANT to play zombie?

>>33438613
How adaptable?

Straight Syn has been noted that when injected will actually... attempt follow the body's blueprints enhancing, making corrections, and even outright regenerate. That is if there are no hick ups as recycled syn with its traces tend to possess.

Loss a hand?

A shot of syn will make it come right back.

That is if its pure...and there wont be no unfortunate side effects.

impure Syn well you know those traces?

It will remember and attempt to follow through with them...even if its not 'entirely' there it will do its best and attempt to patch it however crudely.

While it MIGHT have positive side effect...well it mostly has horrific consequences. Luckily this CAN be curbed if you make sure to have it 'designed' but even there are no assurances and I wouldn't trust the promises. If you inject it straight though...

Well there is a good reason why many think Synners are monstrous mutants, abominable beings, and utterly insane.

So yes while Syn is indeed amazing and adaptable as even 'patterns' for it to follow can actually be easily designed problem is working out the kinks not to mention the production of Syn itself. Even now after the Fall syn production facilities all went dark...only to start waking up one by one.

Where in deep parts of the ocean they never fell asleep to begin with.

Where in empty space designs continued to be figured out.

It was during the fall itself strange creatures began to arise.

Harvesters showed up with their dreaded entourage.

Where strange ' Syn Syndicate' members began to appear restocking and even selling.

Yeah I know they will not be easy to play from the point of people hate us, granted not as much as brood. But with ghouls we could have fun with radiation super soakers or make zombies become awaken and learning.

Yeah sorry I didn't think about the fact that you wouldn't be happy about the brood idea. There's things I know and things I don't about living things. But given time I will learn it. My favorite is this Mimic octopus that is really badass.

Anyway I already gave brood stats awhile back so here is zombie...

Infectious: cannot breed normally must infect to increase pop.

Mindless: Morale cannot be broken due to how utterly stupid you are.

Severe reputation and diplomacy penalties.

We HUNGER: Zombies are constantly starving supply consumption is doubled however ALL turns are automatically considered a zombie action.

PLAGUE: You may choose one of the basic zombie archtypes. The effects will be revealed afterwards and you may ONLY choose one.

Extremely High Pop, poor supply, very poor manufacturing, very poor research very good war capacity

HQ Hospital, Ruins, Hive

Heroic Options

Minder
Cannibal

BrainZ
Voodoo

Yup and ... I still have it.

Brood - Race
High Population. Poor Supply. Poor Manufacturing. Poor Research. Excellent War Capacity

PENALTY
Inhuman- cannot perform diplomacy on humane elements very well if at all.
Notorious- Severe rep penalty

Bonus
Brood Adaption- Able to rapidly evolve(unlocks Wasteland terrain) and research penalty is reversed when dealing with assimilation/mutation
Brood Hivemind- Morale cannot be broken and instant highly guarded communication
>>
Anyway as requested from Genie before awhile back...and was somehow missed.

For the Genie.

as for that stuff...

Sigh.

Here

Syn Facility discovered nearby.

Appears to have a decent amount of traffic going to it mostly Harvesters with escort.

How we found it?

We discovered a battered guardian tromping around and appeared to be in distress.

Turned out its Harvester was buried against our better judgement some of our forces decided to move the rubble freeing it.

After that they left...but not before the Guardian spewed(vomited?) all over our troops.

30 troops have acquired the trait Marked UNKNOWN.

Later said forces ended up getting attacked by a bunch of strange mutants only for the same Guardian from before charging in to the rescue obliterating them before feeding them to the harvester then departing.

Some of our forces decided to follow and eventually found out where they were headed.

It's not hard, just do it.
Basically 3 things make heroes, balls, 100's, and experience.

Once a unit has an attribute, a trait, and becomes badass or elite they are a hero.
>>
Guys... purifying Syn... means we sacrifice some of the actual Syn... and we gain boons every time we sacrifice something...

I say we get together some recycled Syn, and purify it by sacrificing it to the jungle heart, imbuing it with intelligence and wealth overflowing.
>>
>>33439765
Feed them resources and attention, and pray they have the self motivation to do so. There has been a very distinct decline in that sort of thing, where in the first civ all the heroes were so pro-active trying to upgrade themselves and perform useful projects, and now we can only beg and plead for them to get involved.

Zombies come in a number of crude categories you got the virus, infested, parasite, plant, and even fungi. Of course lobotomites don't count. Simple put plants, fungi, and virus don't produce any smart zombies and only virus ones can produce some that still have some modicum of intelligence/instinct they wont ever be considered smart though. Now the parasites and infested types those are the blokes you got to watch out for infested loving eating to evolve and the parasite fuckers can enjoy all sorts of powerups and have the greatest variety within their ranks. They are also the only ones that can create 'smart' zombies.

gnomes i am still unsure as well as the other short races.

I even have some of my own of whom I worked quite hard on.

I have one species who are corrupted to hell they were once mighty but now are little more then barbaric savages that produce by budding They paid for their folly of investigating that which was best left alone and were abandoned by their very gods. Said buds are feral animals until one day they 'awaken' afterwards they are taken in. They basically are an odd mix culture wise of germanic tribes and vikings.

they are so tough along with their regeneration their weapons aren't actually designed to kill. Rather to cripple and produce untold amounts of pure agony. Reason being it gives them time to finish you properly so you don't just get back up.

I have another who are war torn wanderers who eventually came to settle down they worship spirits. They are a fierce warrior species who many believe to be asexual. they aren't actually they just don't seem to have sexual dimorphism and they have the equipment for both genders not to mention don't reproduce unless certain requirements are met. They are also utterly convinced everyone are a bunch of fucking pervs of the highest order.

strangely everyone thinks they are extremely accepting.

The truth is they think everyone are basically into bestiality for fucking 'men' and 'women' that when they cross species they just don't see much a difference. this actually has some pretty funny consequences.

Does our ritual knowledge have anything we can use to control the zombies or monsters? Main goal is to get them to leave us alone for the resources. Also one for talking tot he heart of this jungle?

Suffice to say its a fucked up place and is painfully detailed on a larger picture.

And this setting seems to be playing catch up...

I is scared. Would be nice to know what I could do with these settings of mind.

At the moment I merely use them to test things out...

Like the time i decided to have a multi species alliance...that day I found out the hidden reasons why they were divided on such lines.

My poor setting will never be the same...

>>33441529
Heh it could have but you chose against it. Indirectly though who knows.

To talk to the heart of this jungle would require the forbidden in some measure.

Also I see while I fell asleep we found a seeker and he figured out how to make an actual honest to goodness "heart" for a jungle. I suppose our pit in the Temple ought to be renamed "The Stomach of the Jungle" since it's not a real heart.

Now the question is, if there is another heart to the current Jungle what to do with it. sacrifice it and install our OWN heart?
>>
>>33447793
Well is could just be the ground work for the real thing. But stomach works. Then we will need to get the maw up and running. As well as research anti fungi plants. Which maybe we found from the science fair.

And from the ash our heart will be born. Bathed in the blood of our brothers snackrifice.

So, for pop growth. Decide on a "Doubling Time" you want for humans as a given base rate of pop growth. I'd suggest anywhere between 30 and 60 turns (which would be somewhere between a 1.4% and 2% growth rate, roughly).

Calculate the specific number of turns using 70/R where R is the percentage growth rate (so in the previous example 70/1.5=47, 47 turns for a population to double).

Next, decide on modifiers. The obvious ones are stats you've already got, food, water, morale, medicine, health primarily (though you haven't given us full disclosure so there may be more).

I'd suggest giving food and water +/- bonuses of .01% for each tick up or down from "average". Giving Morale .015% ticks, and Medicine/Health .02% ticks.

Buildings constructed to boost pop growth and drugs or the like should be decided by you.

I'd suggest that (once you calculate the period of time required for a population to double) you divide it by 5-8 and give us appropriate fractions of pop growth whenever that amount of turns passes.

Do you need further explanation? Or does the Jungle fucking want our cocks, HARD, now?
>>
Rolled 48

>>33453064

Your system, thus far (possibly because of your issues with pop growth) has given us very little pop growth though, so if you want to increase the doubling time to be 100 turns or something then that'd be okay seeing as turns are an abstract amount of time.

Keep in mind though that pop growth updates have traditionally not ever been something that we can rely on to replenish members. Nat1s are so deadly that even if we sit in our base and do nothing after a disaster we're more likely to get hit by a nat1 and lose more members before our pop growth replenishes from the first disaster.

The Memor lost half their population in the first thread and made it back by the 2nd or Third thread. Even with numbers and before Clora Zel, they had the most productive birthing rate of any civ yet, let alone being mutants.

Rolled 94

>>
Rolled 79

>>33453064
hm in that case i would make it 50 turns to allow a doubling.

which means every 10 turns you gain a 20% increase based upon your pop from the previous 10 turns ago before modifiers.

And that is just the base.

Will have to figure out how the stat modifiers and 'other' will affect it as well.

Basically 1 point above or below average will equal 1%.

Other modifiers...well still working on those but they will follow roughly the same pattern.

Mutants pop growth is halved and mutations will delay when you get the pop increase.

So yeah that is gonna suck and fits well with mutants.

Bots will acquire human base pop gain per a resource spent. However they can only convert so many resources to pop depending on their certain factors. Pop modifiers will also be attributed to materials and other exceptions mostly infrastructure/technology.

It'd count for whatever jungle we've been feeding. That aside, this is a Major Boon so I don't think Genie's going to dick us over on that sort of technicality. We'll see a marked bonus from it, even if that bonus needs to be improved/revitalized later once we expand significantly.

I'm all ways down for shoot out ideas.

Like maybe after more time working with our jungle. We try to make some of us part plant. But that wouldn't be easy... [sadface].

Also for one of the zombie ideas I had. The Doctor Z could turn a hive into this slow moving one lab. In the hopes of find parts to upgrade the zombies with ... Basically necrotech for the waste land. Infect monsters study them then take what they like and add to the others.
>>
>>33460804

Hah, how about a zombie/bandit hybrid? That'd be pretty OP.

Drunk smartanon here, plz ignore.
>>
>>33460856
If I would do a mix with them it would be brood for the best stat meet of high pop and war. But bandit would have some things. But I view they would need good speed. So it would have to be ... I'm thinking virus type. Maybe one with target for improved metabolic rate and focus on spreading. We would need to stay aggressive with these guys for a good while. Got to make get use of the auto upgrade ability if we get it.
>>
>>33461248

You have to learn how to milk the system. Brood and zombies have nearly identical stats and abilities. Whereas bandits and zombies have (mostly) identical stats but a useful ability you'd acquire from hybridization.
>>
>>33461424
True that's why I would want that. Their stats wouldn't take a big hit and the gain hive mind zombies. With using one of the types with some int to could be a massive boon to combat swarms.

But with bandits you loose a huge chuck of pop and not making supplies. If we could get someone to work with zombies then one would be dealt with. But then we still have to deal with the lose of int from being zombies. I guess the parasite type would be better. But would need to find a style that works with our group.

... O yeah I was thinking about our play style and I think we would be best fitted to a government. Mainly a government with a military branch. We got a tactic and Bandit rushing style with civilian caring people. But still unsure of the full styles of our party's makeup, So this is very iffy.
>>
>>33461678

Hmm, I'd forgotten that bandits can't create their own supplies (what do zombies make anyway though?), but they have "Good" population so while you're losing out on some portion of your pop I'm unsure it's enough that gaining the auto-upgrade bit doesn't make up for it.

Seeing as zombies are completely unfamiliar though, it'd all be new, dangerous ground.
>>
>>33461912
I assume bio mass is something they would make if they are infested types.

Yeah but that is part of the fun. I believe it would be best to treat them like animals and go from there. They would likely have very basic needs and wants. Then depending on the hero and zombie type more would be added.
>>
>>33462059

Eh, you new kids can have your fun with new civs that die in 2 threads or less. I'm old, withered, bitter, and wish to see the glories of old returned.
