In a World of Darkness and Light, Monsters and Men, Dragons and Griffins, Witches and Mages, Heroes and Legends, Kingdoms and Empire's, there is much strife and war. Peace in all four corners of the world is a very rare thing of beauty. Kings and Emperors are fighting for power and land on both battlefields and at court. However, you're not part of this struggle for power, not yet. For reasons unknown you don't remember your life as a human nor the torture you went through to become what you are today; A twisted being of dark magic, your body has been mutilated and corrupted beyond its limits. However, like many dark beings before you, you've been chained by the power that rules behind the scenes of politics and war in this world; The Holy Church.

Created by darkness and leashed by the light, you're a monster under the Church's will. You are an Inquisitor, the last of its kind. Once a man, twisted by magic, you now serve the Church as a hunter or a judge against monsters, witches, renegade mages and all the evil that oppose the holy order.

---

Sadly, I am not Ryouichi, but I got him on Skype and I was one of his players so he gave me all the information he had on this + the plot spoilers and asked me to continue. He apologizes for how he acted after having a bad day, but is too ashamed to come back.

Anyhow, I'll do my best to breathe life into this story and I hope you will come to enjoy it again. (Ryouichi will be reading, so call him a faggot if you want to, kek.)

You were unsure what to do; The church was dead empty. You felt no magic being used, present or past. That alone proved that this was not some illusion spell that was cast upon the three of you when you entered the church. It didn't look abandoned from the outside. You all climbed the hallway stairs and found yourself in front of the half-open door to the high priests study. Autumn didn't bother to knock; She pulled out her sword and kicked the door open, ready for anything within! However, you were met with disappointment and a gasp from both Autumn and Benjamin. The high priest, or former in this case, was hanging by the ceiling by a thick rope around his neck. He didn't smell of death just yet, so he couldn't have been dead for very long. While Autumn kneeled down in prayer, followed by Benjamin doing the same in a hurry, you walked over behind the hanged man.

On his desk you found a leather book open, with words you didn't recognize littering the page. However, you could read the last section of it. “We have sinned; Our bodies defiled and our souls corrupted. The day we prayed would never come is approaching. The Holy Order has sinned. Our crimes are unforgiving. May the Maker have mercy on his children. May the Maker have mercy on this world. May the Maker have mercy on the lost father.”, the remaining pages of the book was empty after that.

What did they do here? What caused this? There's no magic at work, but you still get a bad feeling of this place. Something's wrong.
>1. “We should try and find the others.”, you suggest, waving the bad feelings away.
>2. “We have to leave. Now.”, you order them both. Whenever you had a bad feeling, you were right most of the time.
>3. “Stay here.”, is the last thing you tell them before leaving to search the church by yourself.
>4. “There is nothing we can do to help him. We're still 2 days away from the mountains.”, the three of you need to leave.

"We have to leave. Now.", Benjamin was the only one of the two who reacted. Autumn remained firmly planted on the floor, still praying. "Why? What's happening?", his tone was nervous and shaking. You ignored him for now, casting a glance at the templar. She wasn't moving an inch.

You didn't intend to wait, so with firm steps you made your way out from the study, followed by Benjamin. You descended the stairs quickly down to the hallway and it wasn't until you reached the gates that you heard the familiar female voice call out to you from behind.

"You could have waited!", Autumn shouts from the balcony overlooking the main hall. You don't bother to give her a response. "Come, Autumn, we're leaving this place!", Benjamin answers her for you. You can hear her sigh, muttering "Insensitive bastard." before she too takes the stairs down.

It wasn't until you left the church that you realised how thick the air inside must have been; the air out here was surprisingly refreshing. "Why did we have to leave?", Autumn asks you once she leaves the church as well.

After a short explanation about the book, Autumn is quiet for a good while. Either she's thinking or she's having a hard time processing what was written in that book. Benjamin doesn't seem to care so much about the book, but he is looking at Autumn with great concern.

"And you're absolutely sure it said the 'lost father'?", she finally voice her doubt. You answer with a short nod to which she returns to her thinking. It was during moments like these that you wished you had just outright refused to take her and Benjamin along in the forest outside Oaksberry. You'd be halfway to the mountains by now or maybe even there.

Minutes pass by while Autumn stands by the church gates, still thinking. You've seated yourself on a nearby rock while Benjamin is fidgeting nearby. You feel time passes by and the thought of Austec getting further and further away from you while you sit here, wasting daylight is starting to annoy even you.

"I don't get it!:, the templar cries out in frustration, "Why would the high priest take his own life? Where's everyone else? And what does the text mean?! What has The Father to do with this?!", she is visibly upset.

"Let's calm down and--", Benjamin starts, but Autumn is quick to cut him off, "I am perfectly calm!", her voice is raised and she immediately realises it herself. She takes a deep breath to calm herself down. "I will devote time to this later. Let us move."

And with that, the party of three is fially moving north again, just as intended. Along the uneventful days you don't pass through any villages or towns. You know there's another town to the west that also has a church, but you've wasted enough time to go on a witch hunt for Autumn now.

After two days of traveling north, you finally reach the mountains. It's a large wall of mountains smashed together that probably goes from the western coat all the way to the eastern coast. Right in front of you, there's a giant dwarven face carved into the mountain and its mouth serves as the entrance. The way down the hill goes smoothly and after crossing the dirt road, the camp outside the mountain entrance is clear to you; Dwarves equipped with boiled leather and chainmail are walking around with black whips in their hands and hanging by their hips.

All around them, human, elvish, halfling and monsters walk about with iron collars around their necks. Slavery; this isn't the only place in the realm where it's legal, but it's the one place where it's used the most.
>>
>>33541972
"By the Maker.", Benjamin whispers as the three of you walk through the encampment, avoiding the dwarves and the slaves. "We have to help them.", he continues, but you give him a stern look and shake your head; This was not the time for chivalry. You'd wager you could free these slaves, but it would cost the Imperium and the Holy order dearly and if the Order suffers, you will suffer.

"Inquisitor!", a voice calls out to you followed by a screech of pain from behind when you're close to the entrance.

You turn around, facing the screech. You witness three dwarves whipping at a young defenseless elvish girl. Part of her white hair, flowing hair is red from the blood. She's wearing some furr cloths covering her womanly parts at best. She's on her knees, crying and screaming for her mother, blood trickling down her pale back and dripping from her hair.

"That's it. I'm putting a stop to this.", Autumn mutters with her teeth clenched, but you stop her with a hand on her shoulder.

>1. "No.", you tell her before you force her with you inside the kingdom under the mountain, ignoring the screams of the girl.

What had once been a camp filled with noises coming from the moans of the slaves, the cracking whipes and the shouting from the dwarve overseers, was now a dead silent one. The dwarves that had been whipping on the elf girl was looking in your direction as you made your way towards them with steady steps.

"Don't make a mistake you'll sorely regret, dark one.", one of the dwarves warned you, swallowing the knot in his throat. They were holding onto their whips, seemingly ready to attack you if need be, but at the same time they backed away as your distance to them grew closer.

The elf was still crying, whispering for her mother. After taking your last step, positioning yourself in front of her, she shruddered and waited to be hit, but another lash from a whip never came. Slowly, but surely, her head rose up to look at you. Fear was burning brightly in her eyes, even when she looked upon her would be savior.

"What did you want?", you ask her, staring down at her with your reptilian eyes. She's dumbfounded, not sure what to say. She blinks a couple of times before she rise up from her kneeling position and grabs the robe by your arm. She wants you to take her with you no doubt. Looking back at Benjamin and Autumn, they both seemingly nod in sync.

You hesitate at first; Do you really want more people following you around? You certainly don't need this girl. You doubt she's good at any weaponry or any kind of martial arts. She has not magical aura around her, so unless she uses dark magic or light magic, she's not a mage either.

However, when you look into her pleading white eyes that are slightly red from crying, you can hear your humanity in the back of your head, edging you on to take her under your wing and protect her. With a defeating sigh, you turn around and lead her back to your companions. The overseers just stare at you, not sure what to do in this situation. They've probably faced outside resistance before, but never from an Inquisitor. Autumn kneels down in front of the girl, but she quickly hides behind your back with her face buried in your grey robes.

"What's your name, little one?", Autumn asks and for the very first time, she sounds like a decent human being. Amazing. You can't help but smile slightly at the thought. Luckily, thanks to the mask no one can see anything but your eyes. The little elf remains behind your back, too afraid to speak with Autumn. Benjamin is keeping a distance from the girl, which you find somewhat odd.

Without further ado, the four of you make your way through the entrance. "What are you staring at, filth?! Get back to work!", you hear one of the dwarven overseers roar before the gates close behind you. The party finds itself in a long hallway leading up towards a giant statue of a dwarf holding a a pair of two-edged battleaxes in each hand above his head. Benjamin whistles, clearly impressed by the dwarven work. The road splits up at the statue, leading two ways, but once you reach it you can see that they both lead to the same place anyway. An odd design choice, but who are you to judge?
>>
>>33543279

After the great hallway, you're finally officially inside the actual Iron Kingdom. In front of you and to your sides you can see houses built into the stone lining up around the walkway that's leading in a wide arc going in seperate directions from left to right. The walkway is like a circle around the outer section of the city, with houses following it all the way from the looks of it. The inner section of the city is cut off from the walkway by a gaping hole that spans around the city in a wide circle, following the walkway as well. There's a bridge here and there to get over the long hole.

You and your party crosses one of the bridges. You can feel the elf holding onto your robes tightly. Looking down, you can see lava bubbling down below. The thought of a dwarf taking a misstep and falling down while crossing a bridge gives you another small smile.

"Alright, now we're finally here.", Autumn announces when you arrive to the center of what appears to be the market square. There's a lot of dwarves, both adults and children, walking about. Some stare at you, while others ignore you. None of them seems to fear you though.

"No what do we do?", and all eyes turn to you.

Right now we need a scent to follow for this hunt.

While Austec Oakheart was said to have fled here by the Ork Warlock you took control of with your dark magic, you're not sure whether or not he's still here. If there is anything of interest here to a former holy man such as Austec, it's the neutrality and the Dwarven king that has influence over both the Imperium and the empire they're fighting; The Aelvii, the empire of Monsters. If he wanted safe passage somewhere or go into hiding, he'd have to speak with the king.

However, first you need to cover up this sorry excuse of a half naked elf child clinging onto you. It doesn't take long to find a tailor along the walkway. Autumn insisted that she should be the one bringing her in, but the child refused to let go off you. In the end it was decided that they should wait outside while you helped her pick out something more appropriate.

The Dwarf inside the shop looked at you first and then his eyes drifted towards the little girl. He noticed the scars from whips as well. However, he wasn't foolish enough to speak his mind about it. "I suppose the little girl is the customer, yes?", his attention is back on you and after a nod, the dwarf jumps down from the chair he was standing on before you came in. He disappeared behind his counter amidst the rows of cloth lying sorted in long shelves.

He returns shortly with brown pants, small leather shoes, a green hooded robe and a pair of black leather gloves for some reason. "Will this do?", the dwarf asks you, to which you look down at the elf. She nods at you and you nod at the dwarf. "That will be 20 silver.", he announces. You're about to open up your bag, when you realize that you don't have any money on you...

Fortunately for you, Autumn had heard the price and whistled at you from outside the shop. She threw you a small bag and upon opening it, there was 20 silver coins inside. You both left the shop together. The elf was now wearing some more decent cloths, especially cloths that covered her scars. Autumn was quick to remind you that she needed a bath as well to wash out all that dried blood. Benjamin was still oddly quiet for some reason.

You noticed it before you entered the city and now it's starting to annoy you. If there's something bothering him, he should speak up. You tell Autumn to ask around for Austec while you check something with Benjamin. She doesn't question the idea and sets off to speak with a group of nearby dwarves that are chatting away.

After pulling Benjamin away for a bit, with the elf still clinging onto you, he looks confused. "What's bothering you?", you ask, staring into his eyes for an answer. He avoids your gaze, looking down towards the pit with lava instead.

"I can't deal with children.", he finally confesses, not taking his eyes off the edge leading to a certain death. You're not sure how to handle this situation. This was something he has never mentioned to you before. The question was how to best deal with it?

"What would you have me do then?", the annoyed tone in your otherwise monotone dark metallic voice must have reached Benjamin because the next second he's quietly staring into the street. "I don't know.", he starts, looking over at the elf still hiding behind your back, "I've lived at a church for as long as I can remember; There's wasn't a lot of kids, ever, running around there. I don't know; I guess looking at her reminds me of the Hinterlands or what I thought the Hinterlands looked like...", his voice drifts off in sadness.

However, before you can figure out what to do about Benjamin's 'problem', you hear approaching steps. It's Autumn, "A couple of them told me that a man calling himself 'Oakheart' had asked where the throne was and visited the king a couple of hours ago.", with no clear description of your target, this is all you got at the moment. You decide to sieze this chance to catch up to your prey once and for all and the entire party crosses the nearby bridge into the inner city and starts to make their way towards the throne room.

The Dwarven King awaits!

No problem. I was really enjoying it while Ryou was doing it, so I wanted it to continue.

How old is the elf?
What do we look like?
What kind of mask do we have?
How long is our shlong?
Do we have a shlong?
Are there any planned romantic interests
Do we have any hobbies or is that shit too human for us?
Have we ever ran into someone who was a challenge for us in a fight?
>>

The Elf is 8 years old.
Check pastebin for Character + current party. Extensive description of the Inquisitor.
Ryou never told me, but I'd assume it's either an iron mask where you only see the eyes or it's a leather mask of some sort. Main point is that you can only see his eyes.
That is information I'm not allowed to reveal. It'll be a surprise if the need for it ever arises.
There are planned possible romances, not only for you but also for your companions that you can either help blossom or destroy.
No hobbies that I know of. Might develop one over the course of this quest.
The 2 greatest challenges you've faced over the past 2 years was a sparring match against six Paladins at once in the heart of the Imperial city and when you hunted and fought a Griffin (An adult Griffin).

Are we a female?
>>

No, you're a male.
>>
>>33546217
Good, I was about to be very angry if you pulled that shit
>>
>>33546244
Not very good at writing as a female. Can't get into the mindset. Prefer the MC to be male.

He also gave a description of his face, because he took his mask off once to mind fuck an ork warlock
>>
>>33546480
Yes, I'm sure that's been added to the pastebin description.
>>

I find the color in the mask weird.

It's suppose to be, he's like darkness incarnate
