(Gentlemen: Due to the extremely brief time period between this session and the previous one - Chronologically speaking - I'll be suspending the Hollow Sun charge for this Episode.

However, the next one will have the next 'cycle' of Hollow Sun energies, and research is continuing as usual.

As for the Void Anchors granted to the squad leaders, subsequent chapters will address that issue - i.e. They haven't had time to plant them yet.)

Heads up OP, you've confused the Mutlicore Converter with the Progenitor Engram.

Also the Hollow Sun guide is still down a few Hellion upgrades, at least the Samael Circuit and Mimetic Alloys. The Comet guide needs info on the latter.

Interview went well, it seems?

(My apologies: I've fixed that, accordingly. Here's the new link for the Hollow Sun-

http://pastebin.com/iMMCqccw )

At long last, true night has fallen.

The air is clear but cold; Each breath a puff of white cloud, ghostly tendrils of mist that swirl apart in gossamer strands. The streets of the old city are empty, shadows pooling beneath the fitful illumination of flickering streetlamps, the faint skitter of feet at the very edge of perception the only sound to break the silence.

The old city has borne it's ruin with poor grace. The division between the stately designs of the past - Solid, built to last forward, now abandoned and strangely forlorn - and the achingly pristine lines of the new, cruder and somehow raw.

The wind picks up, scudding across the cracked stone. It plucks at the sleeves of your coat, a low, mournful moan at your back - Brushing cold fingers against your flesh, a chill that cuts to the bone.

There's something in the air, tonight. A sense of foreboding, like a thundercloud on the horizon; Like the charged calm before the storm. It's a relief to turn in the direction of safer streets, your footfalls echoing hollowly as you cross the border - The sense of oppression diminishing, leaving vague relief in its wake.

A lonely bus stand - The clear plastic walls defaced with deliberate effort, badged with spray-painted graffiti - looms before you, the single streetlap above casting a pool of golden light. Here, as before, the roads are nearly empty...Except for the bus that trundles it's begrudging, solitary way past, once an hour - The driver never lingering for too long.

The shadows undergo a metamorphosis - Growing a head, then slim shoulders, then a sudden mitosis that leaves the scarred, slashed seats behind, turning the other half into...

-Natsumi.

"Ah-" It's a small sound, a soft start - But there's no surprise in it, not really. She's almost determinedly casual, the checkered hem of her sensible skirt fluttering in the sudden breeze, the trim of her jacket accentuating the lines of her slender arms, her sharply-slanting features. Brown eyes settle on you - For the space of a second - before she looks down and away, something like a sigh teased from her throat.

As you draw closer, her stance shifts, slightly; There's something instinctively defensive in the way she holds herself apart, taking a light step - Then another - away, turning her collar up against the cold. She avoids your gaze, dropping her chin almost to her chest - Staring down at the ground, her hands in her pockets.

The Red Comet Guide lacks the Mimetic Alloys.

Stay silent for a minute. Then start laughing. "Silver 'fascist'? I wish I could have seen their faces, they didn't react like that after I made Iron Ogre tear off his own faceplate."

"Natsumi... what happened to you? I thought you were better than that. Than them." (quietly) "Than me."

>>33600185
Those were it. It's nothing major, we've gotten a lot done over the past few months, I only noticed the holes because I'm finishing the episode guide.

I think >>33599972 is referring to Myomer Hypertrophy boosting ammo in addition to other effects.

Did you ever check your email?
>>
"Notably, the Red Comet can now *sprint* full-out - In addition, it can leap when in quadruped mode, and land without sustaining catastrophic damage."
So our quadruped mode is now a tachikoma?
>>
>>33600304
I always thought it was, but now it does it right. Physically at least. Needs an AI to properly capture the spirit of the thing.

And probably needs reinforcement to not shatter while bouncing around. So much to do, so little time.
>>
>>33600359
Another reason for Guardian AI.

...By the way, can we install a teleport homer into our killsat?
We could then store vehicles there and make them rain in via orbital drop. It would allow us to weaponize vehicle spawns, circumvent possible teleportation countermeasures and it would allow us to make a Titanfall reference.
Or Section 8, if we use it on ourselves.
>>
>>33600382
Didn't we use "Stand by for Jokerfall" when we did Armiger's entire army?

I'm actually interested in the Guardian AI, but for a different reason: Install a Joker Icon in the Comet and we could use it as mobile artillery once the Dirac transmitter is up.

Lastly, probably not a good idea to launch comparatively fragile vehicles from orbit. Easier just to summon them, plus it works underground.

> [x] "...Are you all right?"

She nods, fractionally - Just a tilt of her head.

> [x] "...Why do they hate you so much?"

"-It's a long story," Natsumi says - A kind of weariness shading her voice, as she looks down at her feet.

"We've...had our differences, that's all. Sometimes..."

A sigh.

"...Sometimes, it's so hard to do what's right. What you *know* is right - What *everyone* knows is right - but even then they..."

The tip of her shoe traces a line in the permafrost.

"It's history, that's all. Ancient history, now. I forget."

>>33600281

Natsumi blinks, at your laughter - For a moment, she looks wounded, high colour rising in her cheeks...Until she realizes you're not laughing *at* her, and subsides - The spasm of alarm fading as quickly as it comes. She smiles, a wan little smile; But in earnest, the first one you've seen since your arrival.

"You did that, really?" she says - "-I wish I'd been there to see it...He must've been *furious*." The levity doesn't last, her smile slowly fading as she looks past you, at the desolate landscape beyond;

"...I wish I'd been there," Natsumi says again, softer this time, almost to herself.

> [X] Stay silent.

A silence descends. Natsumi doesn't seem inclined to continue the conversation, not yet - But there's something contemplative to her, her features cast in a pale mask...That achingly familiar expression she always makes, when she's lost in thought.

> "Natsumi... what happened to you? I thought you were better than that. Than them." (quietly) "Than me."

"I don't..." she begins - But then her eyes close, for a moment, looking pained.

"-You're right," Natsumi says, and her voice is leaden. "I just..."

She bites her lip. Then, suddenly:

"...Anon-kun, I don't like *any* of this. I don't like any of, of...*them*. Those Players...You don't *know* what they've done. I don't trust *any* of them - Not even the ones I *do* know.

"Someone should...should - I don't know, lock them up and throw the keys away."

"They're...not *good people*, Anon-kun." Natsumi's speaking from the heart - Almost stammering a little, as her words catch up with her. "You should be-"

In a small voice -

"...You should be fighting with us. Not with - Not with people like *that.*"

Her gaze meets yours, for an aching moment - Her eyes glistening, before she rubs at them with her sleeve. "But when I saw you with them, I realized..."

"-This...It's where you *live*, isn't it? It's so *hard*, reaching you - Because you attract it. All this...All this *stuff*. The horror, the madness - This sordid, violent twilight zone."

She looks down, her hands clasped before her - Her slim fingers interlocking, so tightly that they tremble.

"It's funny," Natsumi says, softly. "I always thought...As a Player, as Cypher - I'd be protecting you. Our ordinary lives - A world that we could live in. I thought - I thought I was doing the right thing-"

Her voice trembles, threatens to break.

"But...You don't need protecting. And now, everything's..."

She swallows, hard. Pain, vulnerable and raw, flits across her face.

"-It's all falling apart," Natsumi murmurs, low and bleak. "I don't understand - How did things get this bad? What did I...What did we do *wrong*?"

Oh shit. We can't let her cross the despair threshold. Inject that girl with 30cc's of pure HOPE!

"You didn't do anything wrong, Natsumi. You were doing the right thing. The only problem is that doing the right thing isn't enough anymore. I WILL keep this world alive, no matter what. I just need to figure out how to make Kazuya less of a target.
It's bad enough that Akira went AWOL after the blade thing. I should have stopped him.

My goals are different from Argent Prominence's, but I also want to protect this world.

"When I realized what was happening, who do you think I went to first? Totenaz? Of course not. I went to Argent, and asked what I could do. He said 'Do nothing and stand aside'. Who do you think I WANT to fight with? Bullies and madmen, or you? But they came when I called, and your people..."

"Aoba--Armaros tried to kill me last night. He took his people and his Juggernauts and tried to kill Bell Zephyr. He failed, and Rust Kaiser showed up. But before that he had me in his hands and he was ready to *squeeze*. Our next meeting won't end so kindly. I hope I don't have to kill him."

>What did I...What did we do *wrong*?
"You said yes when you needed to say no. You stayed in the ivory tower to preserve your own virtue. You listened to orders instead of your conscience. You lacked conviction, and your enemies made you like them. You never asked 'Why' until too late."

"Natsumi... why couldn't you trust me? Everything would be different if you had three years ago."

So this is trying to insinuate your speculation into write-in dialogue as fact? Holy shit, no, why.

This isn't an improv exercise where you can just say whatever you want and have the other party agree with you because you've asserted it.

Were you to have JQOP retcon in telling her about our whole past six years ago too? Because that's kind of something that changes our whole dynamic entirely.

The second and third paragraphs are salvageable, but the rest is just too much.

Telling Natsumi... Mostly based on how we've played the character to this point. He's terrible with secrets, particularly with regards to friends and need-to-know. I do not expect Natsumi to remember anything that came of such a conversation if it did or could happen, because you're right, there's no indication of such.

>This isn't an improv exercise where you can just say whatever you want and have the other party agree with you because you've asserted it.

> "Why are you so focused on *protecting* me?

A sharp hiss of breath. Natsumi goes pale, as if you've slapped her.

> I, for one, am glad that you can handle yourself. It's one less thing to worry about.
> I just need to figure out how to make Kazuya less of a target.

"Kazuya..." she murmurs - "...I see - You don't have to worry about me at all..."

> My goals are different from Argent Prominence's, but I also want to protect this world.
> I am fighting on your side, but from a different angle.
> We are best friends, after all.

Very faintly - "Best *friends*..."

Natsumi draws a breath - A slow, shuddering breath, her arms gathering her jacket a little closer. As if she's hugging herself, a faint, sad laugh teased from her lips.

"-That's right...We've always been friends, haven't we?" she says, her brown eyes downcast. "And...I'm sure we'll *keep on*-"

"It's not-" she lurches forward, her voice rising - Before her hands fall to her sides, limply, as if drained of strength. "...Why did I think you'd understand?" Natsumi murmurs, her head turned to the side - "No-one understands. Ever."

> "Natsumi... why couldn't you trust me? Everything would be different if you had three years ago."

Your words hang in the air, leaden - An echo into infinity.

Natsumi's pale reflection hovers in the inside of the curving plastic walls; She leans into it, as if searching for succor, for support. "-I didn't want it to be like, like..." A sad, low laugh. "-Like this. I thought...As long as you didn't know, as long as you were spared, I could be-"

A slow shake of her head.

"...It doesn't matter, now."

"Supporting you..." Natsumi echoes, softly - There's something distant to her voice, as she shivers...The cold wind gusting past. She closes her eyes, for the longest moment; It seems as if she's about to say something-

And then a sliver of light crosses the threshold - A slice of illumination - as the bus rumbles to a stop, a grumbling monster of burning rubber and engine noises, steam gusting serenely into the air.

----------------------------

The bus rumbles along the winding streets. The other seats are empty - Yet the two of you sit together, in almost-silence, the driver just a cypher in the sealed compartment at the front.

There are deep rents in the cushioning of the seats, stuffing foam blossoming from the gashes. As it turns down the path towards Seisin High, Natsumi stirs, slightly; She's said little, in the past hour - Waiting for the bus to empty, for the transitory procession of the anonymous late-night riders to vanish at last.

She may have been sleeping. It's hard to tell.

In profile, her features are carefully composed, almost serene.

"Your...'magical moon princess'." Natsumi's voice is soft, almost a whisper - Looking out of the window, at the silver orb of the moon above; Fingertips touched to the glass, as if aching to reach it.

"Your - 'Hyades'."

The words come stiffly, as if they rest uncomfortably in Natsumi's mouth - Her lips shaping each syllable, her breath misting against the surface.

"It sounds...I don't know. Impossible. Incredible." The sigh that follows is low, shivery, her shoulders bowing beneath a new weight. "When we were back there, with the others..." Natsumi's treading with care, here - Feeling her way forward, with a growing tentativeness.

No, "I'm just using her." is sharp and to the point. That way, she'll know there's nothing sexual involved. We need to be perfectly clear about this, so there's no room for misunderstandings.

We are in fact using Cybele. We don't have any feelings for her at all besides pity, and we only put up with her for the 100% HP buff and regenerating health.

Well, at least I'm not alone.
I will be glad to murder the fuck when we get an opportunity. It would be murder without any kind of remorse, considering that our "victim" is physically incapable of feeling remorse and/or empathy and is thus a huge danger to society.
>>
>>33601378
I'm actually not. If it were her in the contest instead of Cybele I'd have advocated systematic murder of all the other champions. Natsumi is my favorite romance option, to my etenal frustration with the rest of you.

Note to OP:The next time you insert magical girls into your quest, consider using preestablished characters. I only got interested in this entire half of the quest when I realized we'd be able to excise all the Hyades from the plot simultaneously.

Can you fucking read, or are you just going to call everyone retarded while you think you're the greatest? Natsumi is asking if we love Cybele. She knows we're in a relationship with Mio. Saying that Cybele isn't special to us and we're just using her makes us seem like a bit of a tool, but at least we don't look like a guy in love with a magical moon princess while pretending to date someone else, which is a real scumbag move.
>>
>>33601420
>Natsumi is my favorite romance option, to my etenal frustration with the rest of you.
This is EXACTLY what "leading on" means, shithead.
You are making a statement that can be see as romantic interest. Despite us being in a relationship.

It's true that Joker would murder everyone without remorse if it was Natsumi.
But the same would go for Kazuya.
>>
>>33601425
Or we can just go the "I see myself in her but don't love her" route, which sounds far less like we are an asshole and isn't factually wrong either.
>>
>>33601186
>>33601198

Natsumi stiffens - That wasn't the answer she was expecting, you can tell.

"You...*hate* her?" she echoes, startled and a little confused; But it's got her attention, all right - A flash of something in her eyes, too fast to be recognized.

> "It's not that I *want* to, Natsumi. I didn't have a choice."

"Oh," Natsumi says. Then, again: "-Oh."

Her expression is a strange one - Half-surprised, half-relieved...But with a startled wariness to her gaze, now, a deer frozen in the hunter's sights.

>>33601281
>>33601236

"They...*brainwash* you?" Her gaze turns inwards - Silent calculation in her eyes, making the connections, putting the pieces together. "Then...No wonder Iron Ogre-"

"But...Then *why* are you different...?"

> "Chrome Cypher, talk to me! How can you expect me to understand anything if we don't talk? I will not lose you over this."

Your voice is loud enough to rattle her - Natsumi glances, instinctively, at the front compartment...But there's no-one to hear.

For the longest moment, she wavers; Unsure of how to answer, whether to answer, before-

"-I..." she begins - The faintest note of self-conscious embarrassment to her voice, a shadow passing over her face. Natsumi ducks her head, her fingers plucking at her jacket - Never looking you in the eye.

Actually no, she does not. Look at OP's post >>33601173. Curling her fingers into claws and bracing for pain means that she expects to hear Anon is in love with his Hyades.
>>
Looks like we fucked up. Again.
>>
>>33601449

"Just now - Before," she says; A deep twist to her words. "...I saw Kazuya. W, with that girl, Shino..."

Perhaps it's something in your expression, because her lips curve in an exhausted smile, cutting you off before you can speak - A smile that accentuates the shadows beneath her eyes.

"-Anon-kun, it's not like *that*."

And perhaps Natsumi means it, though the faintest hurt lingers in her words.

A slow breath. "Just..."

"...Just listen."

She turns her face to the glass.

"They were talking, laughing - Walking together. Just the two of them."

"-And then I thought...They looked like they were having fun." Natsumi bites her lip, her brow furrowing. "Kazuya-kun...He *tries*, you know. He tries so hard to make things work, to make me *happy*, but I - I..."

"...I..."

A solitary tear trickles down her cheek, her breath catching.

"-I'm...really terrible. I don't - I don't think of him *that way*, but...I can't *tell* him-" Her hands - clasped together on her lap - begin to tremble. "...I don't want to *spoil* things. I don't want t, to - I don't want anyone to be hurt."

Natsumi falters.

"I just want - I want - I want things to be the way they *should*. For all of us to be *happy*..."

"I'm *not* a crybaby-" Natsumi's red eyes put the lie to her words, her lips curling in a pout...But then she smiles, just a little, even as she wipes at her eyes - Her voice a little muffled, now, her sobs stifled by an almost-chuckle.

> People are hurt more when you lead them on, than when you are honest. I learned that often enough by now.

She laughs. Just a little, a small, choked sound - Her shoulders quivering in spasm, her hands clasped to her mouth to smother it. She seems almost embarrassed by this, oddly mortified - As if it isn't funny at *all*, but there's something in your words...

At last, her laughter subsidies. Natsumi's red-faced, still shaking with mirth - Wiping a tear away from her eyes, as if she's just heard the joke of the century.

Somehow - To Natsumi - that seems like the funniest thing in the world. When she finally calms, her smile - Sickly, somehow, but honest - lingers...And with it, the slightest twist to her lips.

"-Ah...You really don't know anything at all..." she sighs, but there's a fond exasperation to it.

Inch towards daylight.

At last, Natsumi's eyes meet yours - Her gaze contemplative, somehow, looking more like herself at last. And then-

Without warning, her hand grips the folds of your coat - Tugging, lightly, as her head comes to rest against your shoulder. She's warm, as she leans into you; A slow sigh thrumming from her lips, a soft exhalation that seems to drain all the tension from her form.

"Anon-kun...You're such an idiot~" Natsumi murmurs. Her eyes close; Stray strands of red hair tickling your chin, your cheeks.

> [X] Pat her head.

You brush her hair back from her cheeks, as Natsumi relaxes - Her face smooth and unlined, now, all worry momentarily soothed. She murmurs something, under her breath; Something soft and wordless, her small hand still gripping your coat-

She holds on to you, all the way, as the bus takes the long, uphill path to it's destination. By the time the bleak streets of the city give way to the beginnings of greenery - The area notably upscale, more prosperous, the harsh lines of mass-production relaxing into the baroque curves of old architecture and brownstone...

She's asleep.

> [X] "...I'll never understand you. Never."

You're not sure if you ever will. It's a mystery to you, how changeable girls can be - As capricious, as enigmatic, as the fading moon.

> "See? One step closer to normal already."

You remember. Natsumi, always chasing after you and Kazuya, taking quicker strides to make up for your longer ones. A thing you must have forgotten, at some point - When she nodded off in the school bus, or curled up with her head on her folded arms in class, lulled into slumber by the drone of the day...

-She could never bear to be alone.

---------------------------

It's late - Extraordinarily so - by the time the bus reaches the last station. Seisin High's walls loom before you; The ornate gates firmly barred, looking as solid and unbreachable as the portcullis of a fortress, the school's crest like a grand seal. It's warmer here, the greenery defiantly refusing to succumb to winter's encroachment - The wind reduced to a gentle breeze, that makes the branches of the trees over head sway in a gentle surrusation.

"...I can't believe I fell asleep."

Natsumi - A little bleary-eyed, a little unsteady on her feet, but far cheerier than before - paces alongside you; She's unbuttoned her jacket, her white shirt almost luminous in the moonlight, her voice softly familiar.

(Continued)

>>33601964

"Ah, it's after curfew, too...I didn't think we'd be so late on the first day..."

The stone walls give way to ivy-draped battlements, then to hedge. Seisin High's gardens are elaborate and exquisite, slow-blossoming flowers mingling with the vines - Grass rustles underfoot, lushly green, as you come to the small gardener's gate, the one that's never locked.

It creaks, faintly, as you push it open. A sweet, heavy scent hangs in the air; Like perfume, like apples and cinnamon, rich with noble rot.

Somewhere, you hear the gentle surrusation of a fountain - A light drizzle, like distant rain pattering against the soft earth. The gravel of the path crunches underfoot, the lights of the dormitory (Now muted, to the faintest glow) rising above the maze of hedges.

Natsumi draws ahead, her long legs carrying her forward; And then she slows, turning to face you - Faintly puzzled, now, her head canting to the side.

"...You're not coming?" she asks, sensing your reserve. "-It's pretty late, now..."

[ ] "You go ahead. There's something I need to do."

> "Shh. I have a clever plan. Remember the last one? This one's even better."

That seems to tip the scales.

"Well...All right, then," Natsumi says, slowly - With another curious look over her shoulder, considering. But then she begins the walk that'd take her back to the dormitory, along the gravel path...

And you head the other way.

-------------------------------

The Covenant Gardens lie deep within the school, close to the very heart; Legend has it - According to Shino, alluded to in her never-ending chatter - that they're the oldest part of the grounds, the first site where the earth was broken, then carefully nurtured to bloom.

A tall hawthorn - Heavy with red berries - marks the place, a white froth of travellers' joy cascading from the top boughs, delicate as a veil. There's something inherently calming about this place, the night sweet and fragrant and silent - A sanctuary, mysterious and beautiful; A place soothing in it's loveliness, shimmering in the silver light of the moon.

The girls of Seisin High know it by another name: The Maiden's Labyrinth.

It's a courtyard flower garden, breathtakingly beautiful in the moonlight - A marvel of exotic flowers, with paths that criss-cross the neatly trimmed lawn, running between bushes, beds and vines thick with blossoms, under spreading, verdant trees and past tiered fountains of sculpted marble.

And beneath the baroque arch of the topiary maze...

-A sound. A soft, silvery laugh - The flicker of light on blonde hair - the whisper of a flowing gown, there and then gone, as fleeting as a mirage.

The grass rustles, your footfalls leaving no sound - Your shadow slanting before you, to merge with that deeper darkness of the maze. Inside, the air is heavy with heady, sweet scents; The light is numinous, soft, just enough to see the paths by, the rest blurred into a wall of green.

A curtain of hanging moss - Delicate as a veil - bars the way. It's warm, here: With the strangest air of intimacy, the rich scent lingering like sweet incense. From somewhere beyond, there's the faintest hint of movement...

A slow rustle, a giggle - Slim fingers curl around the stem of a pink blossom with aching delicacy; The hem of a dress brushing against the next turning, winding ever-inwards.

The maze is much larger than it first appears; The walls higher, the pathways winding and intricate, seemingly rerouting themselves at random - Each passage offering achingly familiar glimpses of the inner spiral, never concluding in a dead end, drawing you in.

The next turning winds around a topiary guardian - A griffon, wings outstretched in great sweeps of greenery, within which berries gleam like jewels. The sound of running water is closer, now; the shy laughter closer still, the path splitting into three winding passages - Left, right and straight ahead, following the maze's curvature - Red tile, marble and onyx respectively, some trick of the light casting wavy bands of shadow across the ground, dappling them black at uncertain intervals.

So, there's an Englishman, a Frenchman, and a Pollock running from the Nazis in a forest. They each decide to scramble up and hide in a different tree.

The nazis go to the tree the englishman is under, and say, "We know you're up there. Come out or we'll shoot." The Englishman thinks for a moment, then goes, "Chirp, chirp, chirp." The Nazis, thinking it was only a bird, leave and go onto the tree the Frenchman is in.

They again say, "We know you're up there. Come out or we'll shoot." The Frenchman thinks for a moment, then says, "Hoooot. Hooot. Hoooooot." The Nazis, thinking it was just an owl, move on to the tree the Pollock is in.

The crimson path. Of course.

The sweep of your coat blurs the moonlight; The tiles underfoot dyed a rich carnelian, winding through the maze. It occurs to you that the labyrinth serves a purpose - The circuitous, unpredictable and meandering paths a metaphor come to life.

Time runs strangely, here. You're not sure how long you've been wandering, or where you're going; Only that each step takes you closer, closer, as if the maze itself is shifting to accommodate your passage-

A friendly breeze, like a whisper borne on the wind. The path rises, in a subtle slope - widening, from a narrow corridor to a passage, to a canopied walkway that ascends into...

The centre of the Maiden's Labyrinth is a pool of surpassing clarity, circled by a perfect ring of lilies - The white blossoms floating serenely on the tranquil surface, the waters shimmering quicksilver.

The luminous glow of fireflies shed a honeyed radiance, the tiny motes borne heavenwards on the breeze like a host of lights.

Her form seems to rise from the surface of the pool itself, like a fairy from the waters. Mio's breath catches, a flush blossoming in her cheeks - A slender arm curving outwards towards you, sheathed in bridal gauntlets trimmed with white lace.

"-You found me," Mio says, her voice low and soft and sweet - A shy, secret smile touching her lips at last, her green eyes only now meeting yours.

Compliment her on her beautiful dress, ask if she is still angry at us. That question should give us enough information.

If that is Mio, and it is a trap, she doesn't know about it.
>>
>>33603167
Actually, no.
The time flow in the Red is wonky. We might lose minutes.
Which can end very badly right now.

>>33603153
I'm starting to wonder if we even should attempt speaking sense.
Today is the day of lunatical suggestions.
>>
>>33603172
Or it could be that she is (as some anons theorized) CONSTANTLY on auto-pilot, in the same way Bishamon is. In which case, we've fallen in love with an auto-pilot.
>>
>>33603177
I'm pretty sure JQOP isn't going to lock us out of most of this scene just because we're being cautious, Anon.
>>
>>33602984
I am getting extremely paranoid.
>>
(Gentlemen: My sincerest apologies - I'd love to continue, but I'm rather more exhausted than I expected. I'm afraid that we covered less ground than I initially intended, but I'm still getting back into the swing of things.

Fortunately, I'll be able to continue the session in a day or two - I have an early start tomorrow, due to the need to catch a flight, but I should have substantially more free time from that point onwards.

It's all part of the paradox of being a student, I'm afraid.

At any rate: Good night, and God bless. You've been a wonderful audience, and I'll love to see you again soon - I'll keep your suggestions in mind for the starting post of the next Episode.)
>>
>>33603205
You can never be too paranoid.
>>
>>33603208
Oh wow. Cliffhanger out of nowhere.

Well, good night JQOP. Sleep well, you deserve it.

Probably better for me too. I think I've been a bit too par-
>>33603212
... right. Just saying.
>>
>>33603208
I think that's actually good for letting people cool off.

Thanks for running, as always.
>>
>>33603212
>You can never be too paranoid.
You can be. It destroys relations with people who love us or who make our life easier. Red Joker is strong enough to trust people.

It was a joke.
>>
>>33603212

I doubt there's any need to be paranoid around Mio. The girl's totally in love with us, and she's dolled herself up for the date. Her penchant for cosplay is utterly adorable, and she has a very nice taste in costumes.
>>
>>33603277
>I doubt there's any need to be paranoid around Mio
u wot m8
Have you forgotten the magic powers she has? Or the fucking Collector that follows her around in the Red?
>>
>>33603297

Yeah, but she's never been anything but cuddly around us. Megumi has her dark moments, and Natsumi's entire life is one long dark moment.

Mio is basically harmless.
>>
>>33603308
>Mio is basically harmless
Which is exactly why we should be wary of her.
>>
>>33603308
>Mio is basically harmless.
Oh god, not again.
>>
>>33603308
Silent waters run deep.
It's always the nice and cuddly ones that are the most unpredictable and dangerous, since you never suspect them.
>>
>>33603308
Also, it's pretty reasonable to be suspicious of her when she's in the middle of a maze with paths representing all three Jokers.
>>
>>33603410
We KNOW she's not black joker...we're red...is she the caucasian?
>>
>>33603410
Again, if it's an ambush, the Joker is strong enough to survive it. Mio's not faking these feelings.
>>
>>33603499
She could be on auto-pilot.
>>
Welp, with this I'm officially off the Hecatetrain.
>>
>>33603499
I don't think there's an ambush, but I do think we should check the Red. If not for anything to do with Mio, then at least to see what the maze is like there.
>>
>>33603499
You're missing the point.
>>
>>33603468
>...is she the caucasian
Hellebore was the Chalice Queen.
Which reminds me a lot of the White Queen in Accel World.
So I wouldn't be surprised if she's the White Joker's autopilot... Which would make the clown memory exchange meeting even weirder.
>>
>>33603514
Ok, at least warn Mio we're peeking into the Red, as to not startle her and her Corrector puppy.
>>
>>33603625
I'm pretty sure telling her would have no effect at all on the Corrector.
>>
>>33603625
Mio can't control the Corrector consciously.
>>
>>33603647
>>33603689
Telling her that we are going on autopilot is a good idea, though.
Because we won't know what the fuck our autopilot will do.
>>
yfw true endgame is when we find hecate, make cybele real, restore mio's memories and having to deal with the fallout as they go battle royale to win the jokerb owl
>>
>>33603761
It would be a nice epilogue.
Hecate is revived, Cybele becomes a real girl, Mio gets out of autopilot but recovers her autopilot memories, Kotone is separated from Black Joker and either revived or allowed to rest in peace, Argent Promince sees his life work succeed before he dies and Akira turns back into a human.
And then the girls fight for Anon's affection like in a harem anime.

Well hello there, Hellebore.
>>33603790
Pic related.

I wish all edgefags died.

>>33604379
Please read the actual definition of edgy before accusing people.

I'm really glad that I'm not on Cutie G anymore.
