YOU ARE LOLI,

After a short sleep, you've awoken feeling slow and heavy. Dave's little episode left everyone on edge and not sleeping too comfortably, even before the 3 a.m. encounter. Right now, you and Kris are at the bar with Beard, discussing the last of your preparations. Beard has finally brought in the full payment he's owed you for the photo shoots and is currently adding up how much you have left after the supplies Kris asked him for.

"...and with the extra radios, that leaves us at... a hundred large."

A satisfied look from Kris. "Well the money won't do us any good further up, we might as well spend it all now. What else have you got?"

>Components for an exo-suit - 50k each (assembly required)
>Ballistic armor suits - 45k each
>Modern rifles - 33k each
>Shotguns - 18k each
>Better pistols - 5.5k each
>RPG Warheads - 3.5k each
>Practical clothes for Loli - 2k
>Good Chocolate - 1.2k each
>Chocolate - 700 each

You get the feeling you should finalize whatever kit you pick up here. The way Dave's been muttering since you woke up this morning, it's like he doesn't think you'll be back here again for some time at least.

>?
>>
>>33907837
Before buying, what supplies do we already have? Are we stocked on ammo, food, water, meds and anti-rads? And maybe we can get a summary of what weapons and armor each of us currently have?
>>
>>33907837
damnit, I really want a loli exosuit, but I want better armor for our party too...

hmm, initial thoughts are for:
>Ballistic armor suits - 45k each
x1
>Modern rifles - 33k each
x1, also what rifles do the party have? I know Viktor/Ice has Sergei (I keep forgetting which one) and Vasa has a new sniper rifle, though no idea what it is
>Practical clothes for Loli - 2k
x1, and can we get some armor protection but into these clothes like Beard did with out cosplay outfits? Like kevlar and strikeplates sewn into it?
>Better pistols - 5.5k each
x2
>RPG Warheads - 3.5k each
x2

but that only equips 1 person which is shitty, everything is so fucking expensive, can we sell any of the supplies we don't need that we got from the freedom base? cause 100k ain't nowhere near enough dosh

my other thoughts are to get:
>Components for an exo-suit - 50k each (assembly required)
x1
>Modern rifles - 33k each
x1
>Better pistols - 5.5k each
x1
>RPG Warheads - 3.5k each
x2

argh, still undecided, we really need more dosh
>>
>>33907964
>no chocolate

Consider your opinion disregarded. I'll continue waiting for more info.
>>
>>33908006
anon, I would be all for the chocolate, except we ain't got the money for it, if we can sell off some stuff we don't need to free up some cash for some more armor or another gun or two, then I'll gladly vote for throwing in some chocolate as well, but until then, we can't afford it
>>
>>33907895
>Apologies. List is available here. http://pastebin.com/asPJnqdX

>List also includes the value you can get for trade-in for each item.
>>
>>33907964
On the more dosh front, could we see if Beard has one last photoshoot available? Maybe see if we can get Kris and Vasa to participate as well.
>>
>>33908025
Didn't Vasa get new armor and a new rifle from doing those jobs? I thought you mentioned that at the end of the last thread.

I'm doing some calcs and making up a list, shouldn't take much longer
>>
>>33908025
Vasa still has the armor we got her, I hope? It's not listed. And someone still has our rocket launcher, as well I hope? Otherwise the RPGs won't do us much good.

So I initially note that Kris completely lacks a sidearm. She should get one, maybe one of our eagles. I thought loli couldn't even use those, why would she still have those? Give them to someone who can use them.

And Kris has been using just clothes all this time? She really does have plot armor, I guess. The others aren't particularly well armored either, but I suppose with the money we have to share, it's good enough.
>>
>>33908130
>>33908138
>Vasa still has the armor we got her, I hope?
according to http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/33742257/#p33747359
>A flash new rifle for Vasa. Armor for Kris, Vasa and a loli-size exosuit.
>Any 'extra' supplies and ammo, such as grenades, RPG warheads or IEDs/detonators that are wanted. Chocolate.

>Anything else you guys think you want to bring, really.
Vasa and Kris have that armor, Vasa has a new rifle and apparently Loli has an exosuit?

I dunno, I'm confused and that would change things considerably
>>
>>33908158
uhh, no that sounds like stuff we could buy with money not stuff we already have.

We definitely bought Vasa some armor when she was away, though.
>>
>>33908158
>Sorry for the poor wording, that was the list of things that could be bought next thread.

>As it is, I do seem to have let these notes go horribly out of date, and Vasa does indeed have an armored vest now. She is also still holding onto the RPG launcher.
>>
We should sell:
>2x 1911 -3.5k
>AK-74u -12k
>AK-74 -11k
Which means we'd have 130k to spend

taking that into account, I'll revise my lists from >>33907964 to:
>Ballistic armor suits - 45k each
x1 for Kris
>Modern rifles - 33k each
x2 for Kris and Ice, to replace their crummy AKs
>RPG Warheads - 3.5k each
x2 (how many do we have now, I can recall Vasa had and used an RPG on Eliza at Yanov)

Which leaves us with 12k to spend which I'm still thinking on, I'm thinking about maybe selling Loli's MP5k and replacing it with a shotgun

>>33908188
Your post seemed to heavily imply that was what we got and not what we would have to buy.
>>
>>33908243
>Which leaves us with 12k to spend which I'm still thinking on
Yo HK, any chance we can get a moderately or heavily reinforced cosplay outfit with our spare dosh?
>>
>>33908295
expanding on this, I mean like do a group cosplay photo session and use our spare dosh and the payment of the photo session to cover the expense in getting a well armored cosplay outfit for Loli
>>
>>33908138
>I thought loli couldn't even use those, why would she still have those? Give them to someone who can use them.
We've used them in the past perfectly fine after we got used to the recoil, the first time though, it punched us in the face when we failed that dice roll
>>
>>33908138
>but I suppose with the money we have to share, it's good enough.
Not really, without selling anything we can only afford 2 sets of armor regardless of what type of armor they are, and even when selling some stuff, we won't have enough for 2 sets of armor as well as replacements for whatever we sell
>>
>>33908243
I'm not sure I'd throw a new rifle at Kris. She's not actually one of our good shooters anyway. Ice would definitely put it to good use but Kris? Eh. Do get her a pistol though, either one of Loli's or a new one.
>>
>>33908359
That's what I was saying. With the money we have, the armor they've already got will have to suffice.
>>
>>33908371
well if we sell her AKs-74u to free up some cash, then we need to replace it, otherwise we don't actually have the money to spend on a new rifle
>>
>>33908295
>>33908317
>Individual Kevlar or steel plates are available from Owl, which could be rapidly stitched into place if desired. Their effectiveness and coverage would be significantly lower than that offered by a ballistic suit, but enough plates to cover a person could be acquired for 20k.

>Any cosplay Beard sets up takes a lot of effort and time to organize the delivery. You would not have it available before you depart.
>>
>>33908394
Right then, there goes that idea out the window.

>>33908387
>the armor they've already got
THEY DON'T HAVE ANY, ONLY VASA DOES BECAUSE WE BOUGHT THAT VEST FOR HER

Jesus fucking christ we're trying to head north with these loadouts, we're not even ready to leave Garbage looking like we do.
>>
>>33908243 Here again, an alternative list:

Sell off our 2 1911's and one of our Desert Eagle's and Ice's AK-74, which nets us a total of 123k to spend on:
>Ballistic armor suits - 45k each
x2
>Modern rifles - 33k each
x1

Either way, we're way underequiped
>>
>>33908408
Don't they? I assumed "Loner's Gear" and "Survival Gear" described some lightly armored stuff like the classic stalker suits. They're basically geared up like the NPCs that they are.
>>
>>33908472
It's been a long time since I played the game and I've completely forgotten what their outfits look like and whether or not they have and ballistic protection in them, if they do have some armor in them, then we should probably go with >>33908243
>>
>>33908371
>She's not actually one of our good shooters anyway
which just means she'd get even less out of getting her a new pistol instead of replacing her rifle
>>
>>33908394
Could we organize this and pay upon completion/delivery? If we can't get it now, then theres no point paying for it now.
>>
>>33908517
A good pistol doesn't cost nearly as much and a having a sidearm is always handy. For some reason she only has the AK.

I also feel like a lot of absent anons dreams are currently being crushed by the lack of lists that include exosuit components.
>>
>>33908547
>I also feel like a lot of absent anons dreams are currently being crushed by the lack of lists that include exosuit components.
Oh I know, it seems theres only 2 of us here, and I was the one pushing for Loli exosuit times, but we can't fucking afford it without ignoring the rest of the party, which means the moment we go 3 feet towards the centre, they all die
>>
>If we were to take the in-game tier system, there are basically three tiers of armor:

>Tier 1, basically just clothing or at best thick leather. Good for keeping the cold and rain out, maybe saving you a bad scratch from a rough fall.
>Tier 2, body armor. This is Kevlar- or steel-lined gear intended to survive at least a little abuse from the Zone's elements, mutants or other STALKERS.
>Tier 3, combat suits. These are the full-on hardened suits designed to withstand mass firepower. Poor survival against the Zone itself, though. Exosuits fall into this category.

>Viktor is wearing a low-end Tier 2, while Ice has a mid-range Tier 2 suit. The suit you bought for Vasa is a top-range Tier 2 suit.
>Kris is in mid-range Tier 1 clothing, while Loli is in high-end Tier 1 clothing.

>>33908526
>Certainly.
>>
>>33908547

>>33908559 here again, let me make up a quick list including a exosuit for Loli
>>
>>33908583
exosuit funtimes list:

sell:
>2x 1911 -3.5k
so we have 107k to spend

>Components for an exo-suit - 50k each (assembly required)
x1 for Loli
>Ballistic armor suits - 45k each
x1 for Kris
which leaves us with 12k to spend which means we can then get Kris a handgun and some chocolate and an RPG or two

Yo HK, how much would Vasa's RPG launcher sell for? I ask because we can use Eliza's 125mm 2A46M to do what Vasa's RPG would do and that might free up some cash
>>
>>33908566
Then I wasn't wrong in my understanding of the guys levels of protection. I'm inclined to call that good enough, seeing as we simply can't afford to put them all in top tier armor. Kris really could use some protection, though if it's a choice between armoring Kris or Loli, I'd go with the actual frontline combatant every time.
>>
>>33908643
Well with my heavily revised list in >>33908637 we can get armor for Kris and that exosuit for Loli, with a little change left over for a handgun for Kris, and an RPG or two, or some chocolate

Thats the list I'm heavily leaning towards right now
>>
>>33908637
i wouldn't really count on Eliza... i mean, if something goes seriously wrong with Dave, who knows how she'll react
>>
>>33908681
Well something did seriously go wrong with Dave, and Skadovsk isn't a smoking crater, so I assume things went well on her end, though we should probably talk to her about it (if we can talk to her, I've forgotten)
>>
>>33908637
I definitely wouldn't sell the RPG launcher. We should fully expect to have to deal with environments where we can't bring the tank. I also might consider getting Ice a rifle instead of getting top tier armor for Kris, but she really could use at least SOME armor. Wish we could get both.

>>33908690
We can talk to her. We just can't listen to her. Well, I suppose we could do basic stuff, like have her "nod" for yes etc. I'd definitely enjoy a scene of Loli trying to figure out how to hug a tank.
>>
>>33908637
>>Yo HK, how much would Vasa's RPG launcher sell for?
>Quick math tells me the merchant conversion puts it down to 28k.
>>
>>33908719
>We can talk to her. We just can't listen to her. Well, I suppose we could do basic stuff, like have her "nod" for yes etc. I'd definitely enjoy a scene of Loli trying to figure out how to hug a tank.
Fucking lol, we have got to do that, and I'm sure theres a MFD or two inside Eliza she could display her speech through.

>I also might consider getting Ice a rifle instead of getting top tier armor for Kris, but she really could use at least SOME armor.
I would vote for replacing Ice's rifle if we had the option of getting some mid tier-2 armor for Kris

HK, can we do that? get some cheaper armor for Kris?
>>
>>33908743 here again

How much would a better rifle cost, not quite the same quality of a 'Modern Rifle', I'm assuming that means things like the G-36 and F2000, but something like a Groza or something atleast better than a crummy AK-74
>>
Modern Rifle would also include sniper rifles I assume? We COULD consider getting Vasa a fancier one. Though on the other hand, she already seems to have no problem scoring kills with the one she has. And who knows, given that she's /k/'s daughteru the one she has might actually have sentimental value. Still, an even better sniper wouldn't be bad, right? Who knows what deadly devices HK has equipped monolith with that we'll need her to neutralize.
>>
>>33908828
well her SVU should still be plenty adequate for the near future, but Ice's AK-73 (which you can pic off bandits at the beginning of the game) is an utter piece of shit
>>
>>33908840 here again

I'd love nothing more than to get all /k/ up in here and upgrade the parties arsenal, but they need better protection first, Kris and Loli especially, which are the big expensive items, once those are out of the way we can start working towards getting better guns for all
>>
>>33908840
Hey man, everybody loves AKs in the Zone. Shit's classic and stylish.

On a completely unrelated note, I still want to look into the possibility of sending a letter home via Beard to tell about how we're perfectly okay and having lots of fun and made lots of friends and we hope they're also happy now that they don't have to fight over us and maybe we'll come visit once we finish helping some friends.
>>
So other anon/s here, whats consensus on what we're going to buy?

Me, I'm voting for >>33908637 and then spending that remaining 12k on a handgun for Kris and then trying to haggle Beard down to let us knock 500 off the price of an RPG so we can get 2 for 6.5k which would exhaust all our cash and sadly mean no chocolate for us
>>
>>33908978
If HK allows, I'd prefer to get Kris some cheaper armor and Ice a rifle, otherwise just get armor for both girls.
>>
>>33909067
Well he's not yet replied to our queries about cheaper armor and guns so I've no idea on that, I'd prefer to get Loli the exosuit now because she really needs the protection if she's going to carry her weight and then some in the near future, and Ice's AK is adequate for now, at least until we can scavenge or buy something better for him
>>
>>33909105
And so I will keep waiting. Choices like these always take ages and HK daytime threads are slow threads to begin with.
>>
>>33908743
>>HK, can we do that? get some cheaper armor for Kris?
>This would fall in under the category of upgrading her gear with plates, so the price range is again around the 20k mark.
>>
>>33909259
The 50k for exosuit is only components. How much would it cost to assemble, or can we do that ourselves?
>>
>>33909259
So that would bring her gear to around the low tier-2 level?

Also what can we get in the form of cheaper but better rifles for Ice?
>>
>>33909296
>The issue is in finding someone who knows what they're doing with the components, and who will be willing to do the work.
>You are more than welcome to attempt to assemble the components yourselves, but whether it will perform as intended is questionable.

>>33909302
>>So that would bring her gear to around the low tier-2 level?
>Yes.
>>Also what can we get in the form of cheaper but better rifles for Ice?
>Ice's AK is a relatively new rifle in good condition. It's already a mid-range rifle. The cost difference for other rifles of similar condition would not be worth the boon from the exchange.

>Alright, I'm going to be attempting to close up and look for something resembling coherent consensus soon. We should probably move the story on at least a little.
>>
>>33909357
>>You are more than welcome to attempt to assemble the components yourselves, but whether it will perform as intended is questionable.
So its utterly useless until we can find/pay someone to build it for us...

Right then, there goes that plan out the window, I've no fucking idea what do buy then. I was voting for the exosuit for Loli and armor for Kris, but I've no idea if the exosuit is out of the picture
>>
>>33909357
>We should probably move the story on at least a little.
Generally helps if you don't dangle everything we've been wanting and needing for the past shitload of threads and then say we can't have them/use them...
>>
>>33909357
How about this then?

>100k starting
>+ 2 x 1911s 3.5k
>+ 1 x AK-74 11k
>118k total to spend

Acquire:
>Exosuit components 50k (it's awesome, we'll find a way to make it happen)
>armor plating 20k
>rifle 33k
>pistol 5.5k
>2 x warheads 3.5k
>115.5k total

Were grenades included in the ammo we already bought? If not, maybe we can get some nades and chocolate for the rest?
>>
>>33909412
fuck it, this sounds as good as we're likely to ever get, I'll second it

>115.5k total
>2.5k left
>chocolate for the rest?
sounds good to me
>>
>>33909406
Ah don't be skeptical. We can make it work. Kris and Viktor know some mechanics, we have freedom friends who can help out, and other options may reveal themselves. It's an awesome thing and therefore we know that it is possible.
>>
>>33909412
>Selling an M1911 for 3.5k to buy a pistol back for 5.5k? Assuming this is an oversight and handing one of those straight to Kris.

>Additionally, do you wish Kris' clothing to be plated with Kevlar for bullet resistance, steel for slash/stab resistance or a half/half mix of both?
>>
>>33909538
depends, witch one works the best against shrapnel? kevlar?
>>
>>33909538
>>Selling an M1911 for 3.5k to buy a pistol back for 5.5k? Assuming this is an oversight and handing one of those straight to Kris.
That's a good point, one that I completely missed, let's just give her one of our 1911's.

>half/half mix of both
sounds good, just gotta make sure the vitals like the torso and thighs are ballistics protected and the limbs slash/stab protected, bullet proof plates are stab proof anyway so that should protect her torso enough
>>
>>33909538
Oh. Right, that sort of slipped my mind in the middle of trying to do basic sums. Shit's hard man.
>>
>>33909538
Bullets. When possible someone else will be between her and slashers.

With very little encouragement needed, Kris gets Ice to pick out a new rifle from the lineup available. He immediately sets his eyes on a western rifle you don't recognize from any of the old movies, but Viktor says it's definitely a very accurate and reliable weapon. Kris also gets her hands on some bullet-proof plates that she then spends a while stitching into the inside of her jacket.

When you ask after the possibility, Beard takes you inside the bar and sizes you up against some plates, pipes and electrical wires he has lying about for one of those awesome armored suits you've been fighting against. "M'afraid I can't link it up for you though, girl. I don't know the details of how it works. You might want to try a mechanic if you know any. Or one of the scientists."

You then demand Beard's entire chocolate store for your own. For reasons. He complies, though when he runs up the totals, he finds you to be short a few thousand; Kris offers to trade in one of your pistols to make it up. He agrees. She also takes the other for herself, leaving you with the big gigantic hand cannons. You hope you'll be able to handle them without punching yourself in the face again when you need to.

With your business concluded, you find Vasa and Viktor finishing up their breakfast while Ice caresses his new toy.

Vasa nods a greeting to you. "Ready to head out the? I guess we're headed north now?"

You bob your head eagerly. "Yeah! Only, we need to find someone to put this together first!" You indicate the piles of parts in the bag on your back. It's super heavy and you really want to put it down soon.

[ ]Head North via the scientist bunker, get them to make the suit for you!
[ ]Head North via a Freedom base. Surely someone will know what they're doing!
[ ]Just head North. Hope you can all work out how it works together.
[ ]Other.
>>
>>33909936
>[ ]Head North via a Freedom base. Surely someone will know what they're doing!
check them first, and head to the scientists if they can't help

I want to ask Freedom first because they are bro's and the scientists would likely ask for payment of some kind
>>
>>33909936
>call loki, ask him if he knows someone in the north base who could assemble it for us

if there's no one reliable enough, go for the scientists
>>
>>33909936

>>33909979 here

I'll switch my vote to seconding >>33910002

let's make sure theres someone who can build it for us before venturing off that way and wasting time and effort
>>
>>33909936
Freedom has suits like that so somebody must know how they work. Even if they don't make the suits locally they need to know how they work to maintain and repair them.

The scientists on the other hand don't necessarily know anything about the exosuits and may not be good at building things at all.
>>
>>33910028
scientists might have a manual/power armor 101 somewhere
the tech guy at freedom might have died during the attack
we can check on one of the two, so...

>>33910059
i think someone got stabbed in the dick...
>>
>>33910180
The average stalker would be freaked out by cannibalism as well. Didn't say there aren't any around but they'd be unlikely to show that side of themselves because even thieves and murderers would think you're a freak. Want to shoot at the loli? Go for it, she has guns too so that's fair. Want to stick your dick in the loli? Cut that out, nobody wants to see that.
>>
>>33909936
>[X]Call Loki, see if he has mechanics who know what they're doing.

You decide it would be best to call ahead first, to see whether your Freedom friends do have anyone who could do this for you. Loki picks up on the second ring. "What's up? Need something?"

"Hey Loki!" You chirp back down the line. "I just got a bunch of bits for an 'exo-suit'. I was wondering if you have anyone who could put it together for me."

There's a quiet pause. "Yeah, our guys wear a few. Screw works on them, I'm sure he can do it."

"Great! We'll be by real soon then!"

"Right, o-" You end the call and tell the others the good news, bouncing on the spot as you do so.

With your immediate plan in place, it's time to bring Dave down from the bunk room.
Dave makes no protests, or any noise at all actually, as you retrieve him from his position hanging upside-down and walk him slowly outside, still cuffed and bound. Kris holds the new tranquilizer gun (a tube with a pressure can attached to a trigger mechanism) to his back.

With everyone mounted up, it's a short trip to the Freedom camp Loki indicates to you via email. Unfortunately, it's a few miles south of you, bringing you even further from your goal but it's necessary.
Once there, you quickly locate the man named 'Screw' who reluctantly agrees to assist you in assembly of your exo-suit.
You spend the entire time peppering him with questions about what it all does and what he's doing and how the suit works. You notice that he's a lot more verbal in explaining how the thick 'Kevlar' plates on your chest and back will keep you alive and the motors let you move just fine despite the metal bracers on your forearms and shins, but he says almost nothing about the few electrical wires and the big battery on your back. You wonder idly if that will at all be reflected in how it's going to perform.

[1/?]
>>
>>33910615
Finally, he tries to place a big helmet on your head but it's really heavy. You pull it off and leave it hanging by a strap on your belt for now.

"Looks terrifying," Vasa compliments you with a slight smile. "Let's just hope it works when we need it."

Screw's eyes narrow. "Don't you worry, it'll work just fine. Best part is these motors are the same power as the motors I use on our guys, but you're tiny. Your strength-to-weight ratio should be huge now."

You thank him and pull him into a tight hug. He screams out in pain and terror and you manage to let go before you inadvertently crush him to death with you new super-human strength. Oops.

Soon enough you're back on the road and finally heading northwards. Viktor tells you he's aiming to take the same route as last time, since you already know most of it and know where the dangers would lie.
He spends a little time sitting with you and showing you the route on the map. He even makes the effort to teach you how to use the surrounding landscape to locate yourself on a map. After the fourth attempt at looking at the valley area you're in and comparing it intently with the map he's offering, you finally manage to find the square that you should be in.

"Haha, well done. Yeah, that's where we are. See, so we're five minutes' north-each of this road and just passing..." He suddenly trails off, a look on concentration etched on his face.

Vasa's head turns to stare at you both in confusion. "What? We left the road fifteen minutes ago."

Viktor pours over the map once more.
"We should've been out of this valley already," he mutters to himself.

"Yeah but you are." A new voice, soft and gentle. Young.

You jerk around, almost losing your footing as you turn to face the newcomer sitting on the turret above you.
It's the boy.

"We left the valley AGES ago. I've just been making you think we're still there while I take you home."

>?
>>
>>33910713
"And why would you do that? That's mean."
>>
>>33910713
"why did you do that? and what home?"
>>
>>33910713
Heya, where did you come from, didn't see you at all? Are you going to stay this time? You still haven't even told me your name!
>>
>>33910713
Dave immediately slithers down the tank away from you all, as far as his cuffs will let him go before tautening on the rail. The others immediately reach for their guns. You just ask a question. "What? Why did you do that?"

He cocks his head to one side, "so that you wouldn't panic and complain, of course."

"That's mean."

He pouts. "Nuh uh. It's super nice! I did it so you wouldn't get worried!"

"Out of the way, Loli," Vasa is itching to shoot him on the spot but you're standing in the way of everyone. If you just drop down, they could blow him to bits.

You frown back at him. "You could have just ASKED us to come. Where is home, anyway?"

"Us?" He looks confused. "No, just you. We're taking the long way round now so we can make sure everyone else is dead before we get home!"

>?
>>
>>33911518
"'Everyone else'? Who's that? why do you want them dead? Where's home? Why are you doing this? Nice people don't trick people and try to confuse them and be tricky, that's just mean."

I got no fucking idea whats going on and its 2:30am, so I'm heading to bed, good luck fellow anons.
>>
>>33911564
also, forgot to add, we should super pout back at him
>>
>>33911518
Knife.

Nobody hurts our friends, no matter how much chocolate they have.
>>
>>33911518
you were nice last time but now you want to hurt my friend?

leave him a chance to answer then knife if it's not satisfying
>>
>>33911518
"You want to kill my friends? Why!? You were nice last time!"

His look of confusion holds. "I was nice to you. I'm still being nice to you. But this is our garden! They're trying to break into our home! It's only fair that we kill them in return, right? Y-you're with me, right?"

You don't even get what he's talking about now, but it's pretty clear. He's tricking you into something and making you think you're somewhere else so he can kill everyone but you!

[ ]Keep trying to talk to him.
[ ]Step out of the way, let Vasa shoot him.
[ ]Stab him.
>>
>>33911891
>[ ]Keep trying to talk to him.

tell him you'll never forgive him if he hurts our friend. ask him why we can't just coexist?
>>
>>33911891

>>33911949
this at first, but if it doesn't work then;

>[ ]Stab him.
While screaming "NO MORE CHOCOLATE FOR MEANIES"
>>
>>33911891
"They're MY FRIENDS! Anyone who tries to hurt them is NOT my friend. People who try to hurt my friends get hurt back. So which are you?"
>>
>>33911891
but WHO ARE YOUUUUU
>>
>>33912332
He's Shota.
>>
>[X]Keep trying to talk to him.

"They're my friends! I'm not going to let you hurt them, ever! And if you try then you can't ever be my friend." You take a step towards him. "Why don't you want to be my friend??"

He takes a single step back, "b-but... I AM being your friend! That's what all of this is! I'm- I'm saving you from their evil!"

"My friends aren't evil!" A look of panic takes his features at your sudden vehemence, fear clouding his eyes.

Eliza suddenly smashes into something that's not there and comes to a complete stop. Everyone is thrown forward apart from the boy who is now grinning like a child with a new toy. "Ahaha! We're here! Bye bye, bad people!" He turns away and makes to hop off the tank.

In that moment, Vasa recovers just enough to bring her pistol up and squeeze the trigger. You watch the scene almost in slow motion as the bullet leaves her gun, flies through the few feet between them and hits the boy, exiting the other side of him without any sign of having contacted his body in the middle. He hits the floor and vanishes.

As he does, the space around you warps and distorts. Before you, a wall of dark rock appears from the air. The the grassy valley floor below you is replaced by dark rock. The valley walls to either side are replaced by dark rock. The overcast grey sky is replaced by a slick rock ceiling.
The day's light fades rapidly, leaving you all in pitch black darkness.

A low hum, and Eliza's headlamps power on, illuminating the area. You're now parked and stationary in a tight rocky cave with only two exits. One of them directly behind you, just barely large enough to fit Eliza through, leading back and winding away into the darkness; the other is about head height off the ground, half way up the wall to your left. The crumbled edges and boot-like scuff marks around it are eerily reminiscent. You suspect you know what lurks in there.

Finally, Ice speaks up.

"Where the hell are we?"

I worry when I honestly can't remember the last time he or any of our pets showed up except for that bit when we PoV switched to that boar I forgot the name of, which was cool

Awright, I'ma go watch Guardians in a minute here, but after that I shall be back for Q&A as always. Besides that, thread is open to discussion!

I won't be able to run this weekend most likely, but hopefully I'll be able to slot something in on Thursday evening/Friday morning.

Besides that, thanks everyone for reading. I hope you're all buckled in for a hopefully wild ride for the next few threads! See you all next time!
>>
>>33912771
>I'ma go watch Guardians in a minute here
You go have fun and enjoy yourself.

Also, go beat the shit out of manly men in steel in totally not fake combat, remember the lessons of the Little Knife Demon, if in doubt, shank the fuckers and go for their eyes.
>>
>>33912541
We're in a cave with bad things that he thinks will kill our friends. What more do you want?

>>33912636
I wouldn't call him that. He's not being jealous or anything. His illusion tricks are interesting though. Dave called him our kin but he seems very different from us.
>>
>>33912752
FLUFFY.

Don't worry anon. Doggy never abandons us.
>>
>In which we spend four hours buying stuff.

You knew damn well that would happen, HK. It always goes that way in quests.
>>
>>33913065
Indeed, always better to just give /tg/ their toys and cover it in a thin veneer of the illusion of having to work for them.
>>
>>33913105
More like being presented a number of items and allowed to pick one is difficult to reach a consensus. Being given a budget and a list of prices is many times more complicated. Given how horrible he keeps telling us things are going to become, it's not exactly a wonder that it takes us a lot of time to agree.
>>
>>33913472
yeah, it would probably have been more practical to use "mission rewards" instead of money
>>
>>33913065
It's certainly useful information to have incase I ever need to artificially lengthen a thread in the future!
>>
>>33913673
It doesn't count for the record if you just drop something like that and nap for a few hours.
>>
>>33913661
We never used money before as more than a vague idea that someone else took care of. "We want this and this and this, do we have enough money for it?" I always thought that made more sense for the character. Even though Vasa taught her to count, Loli clearly still doesn't care about stuff like that.

On a different note, something I've never brought up before but thought might be of interest to anyone who hadn't noticed, whenever we've met Shota he has acted as if afraid of us.It might be a feint, or he might be genuinely afraid of Loli, don't know, but it's clearly something to take note of.
>>
>>33914134
> whenever we've met Shota he has acted as if afraid of us
yeah, that's something
now, is he afraid of all humans? unlikely with how little he cared about our friends life
but it could be deeper than that.
maybe he does like us, but doesn't understand humans, so he's afraid of making a faux-pas/of us hating him.
on the same track, he could be afraid of himself/his instinct going crazy and trying to harm us like i the Recettar cameo play (that i consider the end that the Zone had planned for us)
or, he could just just be afraid of us because we're motherfucking Giltine
>>
>>33914370
>maybe he does like us, but doesn't understand humans, so he's afraid of making a faux-pas/of us hating him.
Recent events have lent enormous credibility to the old theories that Loli is actually a mutant. Which is a shame actually, because that limits me to some of my theories for the plot that I like the least.

>on the same track, he could be afraid of himself/his instinct going crazy and trying to harm us like i the Recettar cameo play (that i consider the end that the Zone had planned for us)
That was just HK joking around. Don't take it seriously.
>>
>>33914370
Well, Shota is clearly some sort of illusionist, whereas Loli's generally shot or stabbed her way through most problems. He probably acts scared of direct confrontation because that's our specialty, not his.

He probably also hates our friends because they are adults with adult problems. They're all caught in a love quadrangle; Vasa's looking for her dad, and Kris wants to find the wishgranter for unknown reasons.
Loli's spent this entire journey trying to make friends and have fun. She's much more simple and innocent.
>>
>>33916559
>But this is our garden! They're trying to break into our home!
>I've just been making you think we're still there while I take you home
>our garden
>our home
>the other is about head height off the ground, half way up the wall to your left. The crumbled edges and boot-like scuff marks around it are eerily reminiscent
Add in last thread's >your life is a lie
Add in Dave calling shota our kin
Add in loli instinctively going north whenever she didn't know where to go the entire quest

There's a lot less room left to speculate in at this point so I'm sure you can see where this is going.
>>
>>33916821
...Is Shota our long lost twin brother who died in the womb while our Mom was exploring the Zone, and now he's come back as a ghost?
>>
>>33916865
If you assume Dave isn't lying, he is not our brother in a literal sense.
>>
>>33916821
if our parents/our past are really lies, i hope we'll get kris and vasa to adopt us, and keep going as if everything was normal
