The great city of Morlea, capital of the great human empire of the same name, has stood for millenia in a great river valley. From simple stone huts, to great steel skyscrapers, the humans of Morlea swarmed across the continent, carving a great empire, at a great cost: the extermination of all non-human races. The Gods grew angry at the humans, and destroyed them. In a few hundred years however, the land returned to normal, and the great steel skyscrapers deteriorated, leaving only the stone huts they were built upon. The other races of the world came back, and with them, the Elementals.

>emerging from the land Morlea is built on, your Elemental tribe now consists of 400 Original Elementals (Earth attuned)

The first of the Originals (name?), an Elemental 10 feet tall (others are 8ish) commands his people to explore the ruins of the city to find a suitable place to settle down. This is easy, seeing that the stone age village is pretty small, consisting of 5 neat rings of stone houses. The town hall, however, is much larger, though not big enough for all four hundred of your hard and earthy bodies.
>the town hall is on a hill- to the west, the glint of water can be seen, perhaps a river. Northeast, large figures can be seen moving around. To the Northwest and South, there is only smoke.

Maybe more hardened earth, infused with magic or bringing it from deeper ground. Shaping boulders would also be great since we're on a hill. Can unleash them on a moment's notice.
>>
>Note: When you want to research, specify what. Use your imaginations!
>Magic
Terra the Earthen directs his people to work on their earth magics yet again. This is simple for them though, as they find themselves moving heavier and heavier rocks, until discovering how to change the shape of a rock!
>Scout the river
The Elementals form a party to go down to the river to scout it out. It is a fairly uneventful journey though, as all they come across is the odd tree, plus some large rock formations, combined with the fact that the river is right outside the boundaries of the village. Looking into the river, some of the group realize it is teeming with fish.

Terra commands his people to try and meld together, creating a larger Elemental. They try, focusing with all their power and magic, but none succeed. Some half-fuse, but only for a few minutes.
>To the river
On a hunch, some of the Originals make there way down to the river. Watching the fish dart to and fro, then finally take the plunge. Their earthen bodies cannot take the water, and quickly dissolve. But within an hour, new Elementals rise, these ones made entirely of water.

>More elementals
Making more of your kind is quite easy, really. Your 300 Earths just channel their energies into the ground below them, and out pop 150 new Earth Elementals! These ones are smaller though, around 6 feet, and don't have the power of the Originals.
>You may also spend an action turning Elementals from one element to another

>mudpits
The billowing smoke to the south unnerves your leader, for some reason. He commands all his people to build defenses around the town hall, as well as the river, just in case. The combined earth and water elementals make easy work of this, as first your new Waters mix their power with the earth around them, creating deep mudpits, and then the two elements work together to spread the mud all the way around your territory.

>Iron elementals
Your Origins quickly harvest the iron from the huge boulders jutting out from behind your camp, gathering them to perform the ritual to bring more of their kind into the world. The ore shudders, and quickly darts to the crowd, attaching themselves to the nearest 50 Lesser Elementals
