You are the PRODUCER, a former soldier hired to manage a group of teenage girls on their rise to stardom, assuming they don't get killed in the process!

You had just gotten back to the office from a very, VERY relaxing day off with Jenner. Sure, things got a bit hectic when a few muggers tried to rob the hotel, but you and Jenner handled them easily enough. You couldn't really complain how things ended, either.

Nevertheless, it was time to return to work. You enter the office and see Jenner, as always, dutifully at her desk doing whatever it she does.

"Producer." She nods at you with a slight smile. "We have quite a few things to take care of. First, Lillith wants to talk to you. Apparently it's something about that message Belle gave her. Second, the Captain wants to know when we can mobilize to help her with her THI job. And, er, third, there was an explosion in the kitchen when we were gone..."

Huh, no mention of what happened that night. Did Jenner not want to talk about it? Or maybe it was because she was in business mode and didn't consider it a high priority right now-

Wait, an EXPLOSION!??

AT LAST, I AM NEEDED

ONE DAY, THE PRODUCER AND JENNER WERE ON A SPACE STATION

"DO YOU WANT TO GO SWIMMING IN A POOL THAT IS ROUND" JENNER SAID. "OKAY" THE PRODUCER SAID. SO JENNER PUT ON A BIKINI AND THEY WENT SWIMMING IN A POOL THAT WOULD MAKE ME SHIT MYSELF THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

SO THEN THEY WENT SHOPPING AND THERE WERE BAD GUYS FOR SOME REASON AND JENNER WAS SEXY AT THEM AND THE PRODUCER KICKED ALL THEIR BUTTS AND IT WAS PRETTY TIGHT.

SO THEN THEY WENT BACK TO THE HOTEL ROOM AND JENNER SAID "I WANT TO FUCK" AND THE PRODUCER SAID "HOLD ON WHAT" AND THEN JENNER SAID "*SOUND JENNER MAKES WHEN HER TONGUE IS IN THE PRODUCER'S ESOPHAGUS*" AND THEN THE PRODUCER SAID "*SOUND THE PRODUCER MAKES WHEN JENNER'S TONGUE IS IN HIS ESOPHAGUS*"

AND THEN THEY FUCKED

JENNER WOULD HAVE SCREAMED THE PRODUCER'S NAME BUT SHE DIDN'T BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T KNOW HIS NAME SO SHE JUST YELLED "OH YEAH BABY PRODUCE ME LIKE YOU'VE NEVER PRODUCED BEFORE WOW THAT SOUNDED BETTER IN MY HEAD"

AND DOWN ON EARTH, EVERYONE FELT HOW HARD THE PRODUCER WAS GETTING HIS CYBORG MEATSTICK JENNERED

COLE WAS EATING A HOT DOG AT THE TIME AND NEARLY CHOKED

THAT IS A EUPHEMISM FOR ORAL SEX

I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY CLEVER AND WANTED PEOPLE TO NOTICE IT

AND THEN THEY STOPPED FUCKING, AND THE PRODUCER SAID "WELL THAT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD" AND THEN JENNER STRANGLED HIM WITH HER BEAR HANDS

"Wait what, and EXPLOSION!?" You nearly spit take.

"Don't worry, it wasn't foul play or anything, at least from what we can tell." Jenner sighed. "Nobody got hurt or anything, but it's going to cost quite a bit to get things fixed. Captain and Sparky checked it out, and they both agreed it was a gas explosion, but Captain still seems to have reservations."

"All right, I'll go check it out, then." You sigh and make your way down to the kitchen. Yeah, it looked an explosion took place here, all right. The entire kitchen was charred black, and you could see a small crater where the stove used to be. Thankfully, the fire suppression systems kept the fires from spreading further.

Gentlemen, we have a CODE: RED in effect! During our Super Go-Kart Extravaganza Teamwork Outing Event, our researchers believe they have discovered the identity of Umbrella’s secret genemod experiment, Subject 3701!
But in more urgent news, the enigmatic Producer had sexual intercourse with Ms. Jenner! All available resources have been reallocated in order to deal with the upcoming catastrophe.

You sigh and step carefully into the ruined kitchen. You see K-Zwolf there as well, no doubt to guard the scene and keep anybody unauthorized from entering. K-Zwolf's head swivels to track your movements, but it otherwise doesn't do anything to stop you.

You make a beeline to the crater where the stove used to be and crouch down for a better look.

Well, while you did see your fair of explosions and usually could how things blew up, you weren't exactly a trained EOD tech so at some point all explosions started to look the same to you. In this case, you really couldn't see any obvious signs of bomb fragments or components or anything like that. You queue up the security camera footage and likewise don't see anything out of the ordinary. Then again, camera coverage was not that extensive, usually limited to hallways and entrances. While you liked to respect your idols' and staffs' privacy, perhaps you should consider adding more cameras...

Well, that was an issue for another day. You still had a busy day ahead of you.

Imagine the conversations to be had, for example Rin’s parents and Dr. Vahlen (if she was more open about her work)

Rin’s P: “Ms. Vahlen I’m impressed that you had the time to build a relationship and stay committed to your research. I bet your husband is very like-minded in his work.”
Vahlen: “Oh… I’m not actually married.
Cole is an artificial human created by my late father, using my DNA as a template without my consent, in order to create a genemod that would not require the consumer to take regular injections. Her very existence was solely to be the test bed for them, and her body had to be genetically modified to survive any environment, and adapt to the physiological changes the genemods made.
The closest thing to a parental figure she ever had would be my father, who kept her as a test subject; The Tombs, where she grew up, testing her abilities to survive; The Producer, who took her in and taught her many things; and myself, but only in name as I had little to do in her rearing and I’m only related to her due to my DNA serving as a template.
But other than that, she is a nice girl if not a bit rough around the edges.”
Rin’s P: “Well, that’s...nice.”

You decide to head over to Lillith's office. Apparently she wanted to talk to you about Belle, one of the idols you met at the Expo and apparently and old friend of hers. You see Lillith sitting at her desk, which was covered in empty cola cans, an obvious sign that Lillith was seriously stressed.

"Um, Lillith? Is it a bad time?" You ask politely.

"Hm?" Lillith raises her head and sees you at her office door. "Oh, Producer, come in. Close the door."

You follow her instructions and sit down at Lillith's desk, careful not to knock over any of the empty cans sitting precariously on the edges.

"I thought getting a message from a old friend was supposed to put you in a good mood." You say.

"Usually it is." Lillith sighs. "But this time, it's just... I think it's better to show you."

Lillith takes out the data drive Belle had given you and inserts it into her computer. You see Belle's inhumanly perfect face appear on the screen. A recording.

"Lilly, if you're seeing this, then you got my message. First things first, I'd like to congratulate you on finding success in your new line of work. I think it's wonderful that you've dedicated your life to helping troubled idols! And with that in mind, I'd like to ask a particular favor from you, as both my student and my best friend..."

You see Lillith take a deep breath and you brace for the bombshell.

"I want you to kill me." Belle say with a smile on her face.

>Sorry for the delay guys, food and all that.

You fight the urge to make any outbursts, and save it for when you hear the whole message. You see Lillith turn away from both you and screen. Likewise, Belle's image pauses as if she knew she had to let her friend recover from what she just said.

"So, I'm sure you're asking why I'm asking you to do such a thing." Belle closes her eyes and sighs deeply. "You see, the drugs Umbrella gives me keeps my body from aging, but not the mind and... I'm tired, Lilly. The whole thing just wears me down. I've tried to quit, but, well, Umbrella's lawyers keep getting in the way. Plus, I don't really want to think about what happens if I go off the meds."

Belle sighs again.

"I tried, you know? I really tried. Even the easy way out."

Belle then takes out a knife and cuts into her own wrist. Blood flows down her arm, but you see the cut suddenly close up in a matter of seconds.

"One of the 'side effects' of the treatments." Belle smiles bitterly. "They even have an implant that transmits my position and vitals to them 24/7. Please understand, I never would have asked you to do this if I thought there was another way. If you don't want to go through with it, then that's fine. I understand. But if you do... there's another encrypted file on this drive. Open that and it'll give you more details. I... I had a lot of time to think on it. Whatever your choice, you were a great friend, Lily."

With that, the screen winks out.

Lillith is still turned away.

So anons, how do you think we should go about this? Kill her or try to help her out or what? How is Vahlen going to be involved? Mad scientist who doesn't care or sympathetic scientists restricted by oversight to not help?

>>
>>34197571
I would like to get Dr. Vahlen involved, test her moral fiber to see if she is to be trusted.

>>34197595
Ok, then what are your long term plans on protecting Cole? Against the freaking umbrella Corp? Even if we keep the virus buried, that would be very interested in gene-mods they don't have.
>>
>>34197556
The problem is, I don't think that Cole's the kind of person who wants to hide behind someone else. Also, we made her second-in-command, that might affect her outlook.
>>
>>34197571
Killing her is at best the last option. She is Lillith's bff and we really don't need the reputation of an idol assassin. Vahlen the string we can pull at Umbrella, if anyone can bring about a good end here, its her.
>>
>>34197336

>Talk to lilith.
>>
>>34197636
Oh I totally agree, I'm all for roping Vahlen in to help out and help Belle instead of killing her, get rid of her trackers, free her and let her live her life, and not the one they want her to live.
>>
>>34197634
So then the solution would be the burn the Umbrella Corp, or at least shut down their Gene-mod research. We would need Corp levels of resources to pull this off, which would be very expensive. Plus the cost to protect against retaliation and anyone else interested in rare genemods. I don't see many options to do this, besides the one I stated.

But to clarify, I would totally get Cole's permission first. She has to decide how to proceed.
>>
>>34197571
>>34197632
Different anon here, you know what's horrifying?

Up until now, we've only hidden her powers through sheer luck. She suffered a Nat 1 at the prom, disabling her powers in the viral video. At the amusement park, she only blew up a lamp which could've been blamed on something else.

Back then, we had absolutely no freaking idea what the hell we were in for when we first got her.
>>
>>34197571

Vahlen's most definitely involved--an accelerated healing factor Gene Mod of that caliber could only be engineered by a gigantic biomedical firm with millions to toss on different projects. Access to alien technology which may or may not exist that is light years ahead of anything even this futuristic society could create may or may not be an essential component.

Whether or not she knows about this particular Gene Mod, or whether this is a heavily modified version of a pre-existing Gene Mod crafted without her supervision, remains to be seen.
>>
>>34197636
>>34197681
I got it. We need to get either a life-model decoy or a fake corpse to fake her death, and get her out of her contact. Then we can work on giving her a new life.
>>
>>34197691
We easily predicted that she was an escaped lab experiment, she underestimated how scary the sponsoring corp would be.
>>
>>34197691
Well, we can at least try to make a dedicated effort to cover up anything leading to her.
>>
I wonder what would cole say when the sisters are mass produced.
>>
>>34197723

How do you plan to stage the death of that which cannot die? If the video is anything to go by, anything short of a big explosion that would vaporize anything that could be seen as evidence is the only way this could legitimately work.
>>
>>34197804
we'd also have to remove/get around the trackers and other failsafes
>>
>>34197798
I would think Dr. Vahlen would notice. But then again, corps have done worse.

"Lillith, are you okay?" You ask.

"Y-yeah." Lillith says, her voice cracking. "It's just... fuck. I just that... I kind of expected this to happen someday."

"You did?" You raise an eyebrow.

"There's always dark rumors about idols Umbrella sponsors." Lillith sighs. "About how they essentially use them as test subjects."

"Yeah, I've heard about that too." You nod. "But I didn't think they'd take it this far. I mean, isn't this illegal?"

"Anything is legal if you can throw enough lawyers and money at it, and Umbrella has plenty of both." Lillith points out. "I'm not surprised if they threatened to sue her family if she tried to leave, or worse yet, managed to find a way to sign over her human rights to them under some sort of legal jargon."

"So what do you want to do?"

"You're the Producer." Lillith sighs. "I mean, to you, this is a big opportunity to sabotage a rival idol company, one of the Big Three, no less, and open up a sponsor spot for Umbrella. It's up to you."

Hmmm, that would be a tough one. Again, Dr. Vahlen could be an asset in this. We can get her cooperation if we allow her access to Cole, with strict confidentiality agreements.
>>
>>34197833

Another thought comes to mind: company-sponsored security forces. Belle is most likely seen as a High-Value Target by Umbrella; if Belle's position or well-being is compromised, it might not be too far to assume that a security detachment will be dispatched immediately to the alert site.

Basically, if you want to stage this woman's death, you're gonna need to pull some Vietcong-tier shenanigans out--big killzone to take care of a defending element, and a big enough boom to ensure the HVT at least appears to be compromised.

And this actually is the easiest way to solve cole's problem.

Instead of selling coles dna to umbrella, we get in contact with Vahlen and offer it to her instead, so that she can be the 'discoverer'.

Its her father's legacy, she wants to complete it and when she finds out about cole's true heritage, she might be unwilling to disclose her source.

In return we could get some access to the gene mods when they're ready or some other arrangement.

And then cole's ability becomes a minor point when such powers become more commonplace when the mods are released.
>>
>>34198016
Have our account to create an anonymous account to equip the Capt with a new body and the equipment needed. The Capt impersonates an employee and switches one of the gene-mods with another compound. The compound operates on a time-delay and causes her to collapse. In an emergency, they have to rush her to one of their facilities, but earlier the Capt hijacked the vehicle and redirects it to the tombs. We use the Tomb girls connections to start a riot there and get the vehicle destroyed and sneak Belle out. The Capt jumps out of the body and incinerates it and the equipment. Belle is out and there is no connect to us.

You're assuming that they don't have medical staff on hand, which they very likely do, since we have a doctor which appears to be standard for most Idol companies. So they would not need to take her outside of the building because they could treat her there.

"This is your friend we're talking about, not a business decision." You frown. "What do YOU want to do?"

"I... I don't want Belle to suffer any more." Lillith sighs, holding back tears. "I mean, if there were any other way I would take it..."

"Let's look at that data, then." You walk over to Lillith's computer and open the second file.

And... it's a set of blueprints, with arrows and notations written all over it. You see one of the notes that circled.

>ATTN: This is the blueprint for Umbrella's main distribution facility in Delta City. Most of Umbrella's products, including the serum they use on me, are made overseas, so they need to be shipped in. You need to sneak in and modify the makeup of the serum so that it will kill me instead of keep me alive. That way, Umbrella will think it's just a tainted shipment and not foul play.

>The facility has labs and materials onsite that can accomplish this. Naturally, security is very high, so this is a very dangerous proposition and I understand if you would not want to go in. I've done my best to mark vulnerabilities and possible routes of entry.

>Good luck.

"That's a tall order." You frown. "Then again, this IS one of the top idols we're going after..."

>>
>>34198315

>It looks like we'll have to kill her, then.

This is gonna have to be a crafty one. We can do this two ways, I'm thinking: sneak in with a shipment or as part of security or custodians, or get a single operative in there to cause a fire, and sneak in with the fire department. Our tech guy can shut down the sprinklers, and our operative will have gotten us some access keys to medical storage. From there we modify the formula, maybe take some samples of other serums for our own benefit, and bug out--all without firing a shot.
>>
>>34198429
oh yes, somehow this doctor is going to smuggle out the gene treatments without anyone knowing, because obviously the companies security is crap. It's not like they have a monopoly on gene mods and would invest heavily in making sure that they keep said monopoly.

"I think I might know someone who can help us." You say. "I happened to meet Umbrella's head researcher at the Expo. I think I can be able to convince her to help us."

"And what would you have to give for that?" Lillith asks.

"Hopefully not too much." You shrug. "But it will at least give us another option, right?"

"I suppose." Lilith sighs, and then gives a slight smile. "Honestly, Producer, sometimes you're just far too nice for your own good. I hope it doesn't backfire on you in the future."

"I'm not a nice guy at all. I just look out for my own." You say. "One of the oldest unspoken rules in the Army. You watch my back and I watch yours."

"I suppose that makes sense." Lillith actually chuckles. "All right, go do what you need to do. I... have some cleaning up to do."

You give a nod to Lillith as you get up to leave. Lillith starts clearing her desk of all the empty cola cans.

"Tell me where they're hiding." You say.

"Out in a warehouse in District Seven." Tarin brings up a map and points to one building on it. "From what I've gathered, there's only four mercs there, but they hired a lot of local muscle to the guard the place too. Pretty much just gangbangers, so they shouldn't be too much of a threat, apart from their numbers."

"I see." You nod. "Any time limit?"

"We need to get this done in a couple weeks. They're just laying low for the heat to die down. and once it does, they'll either move the cargo to another hiding place or sell it."

"Any other security measures?" You ask.

"They also have a bunch of proximity sensors scattered about to detect possible intrusion. It's going to be a pretty tough nut to crack." Captain blinks. "There's three possible courses of action."

"Well, let's hear them." You say.

"One, we just do a full on assault and hit them and hopefully wipe them out before they realize what's happening. Obviously, the most straightforward plan, but you're putting all of your idols at risk."

"Yeah, that's usually how it goes." You sigh.

"Two. We try to sneak in silent. But in that case I'll only be able to bring two other idols with me, max. Less risk, but we'll be in a bit of trouble if things go loud."

"It always is."

"And three. You guys set up a guerrilla concert, so you'll have to divide up your idols. The noise and crowd should interfere with their sensors so it'll make sneaking an easier job. Plus, I doubt the mercs would want to blow their cover trying to attack you."

"However, if we do that, that leaves us open to attack by another idol company." You frown.

"Well, it can't be said no plan is without risk." Captain shrugs.

Sorry guys, I just keep brainstorming ideas.

This one is very simple. We have Belle's confession video that she wants to die. We post it online to a place where it cannot get suppressed, and umbrella would have to deal with a public relations nightmare. The problem is that they may either deal with it by releasing her, giving her the help she needs, or brainwashing and reprogramming her. Given it's umbrella, it might be the third one.
>>

I'm guessing the Hornet's about as big as a Little Bird so, going by Little Bird capacity logic, we'll have room on the skids for maybe four other people even fully armed. Those vulcans and rockets will be a godsend against clustered infantry and light vehicles both. We can't afford to get into a protracted battle, though, even with CAS support, so we'll need to rely on surprise to help eliminate the hostiles quickly.
>>
>>34199990
Concert: Niko, Cole, Morgan, Rin, Sparky, Julie.

Infiltration: Rochelle, Melissa and Tarin
>>
>>34200085

Thing is, the pastebin already says that no transport capacity unless we remove the weapons so I'd say we should just go with that instead of arguing for more on that frame.

Besides, we have the armoured SUV, which we can fit our weapon turret and the extra armour on.

"Do you have any blueprints or floorplans?" You ask.

"Yeah." Captain nods. "Here you go. Again, it's a pretty basic warehouse. There's two ways in: the back and front doors, unless you feel so inclined to make an entrance yourself. Inside, it's basically the the storage area and the office. My best guess is that the mercs will most likely be hanging out in the office, while the cargo is in the center of the storage area. It's going to crowded and tight, with narrow corridors and lots of places to hide."

"How about up top?" You ask.

"There's catwalks up there that can be used as vantage points. You get up there from ladders on the inside, but there's practically no cover up there."

"I see." You nod.

Don't even try to tell me Sparky can't make as many entrances as we need. Anyway

Team1:
Leader: Rochelle
KZ-wolf
Sparky

Team2:
Leader: Cole
Julie
Melissa

Team3:
Morgan giving sniper support offsite.
>>
>>34200481
Let's go in via the roof as one big unit, hit them like the fist of an angry god and then bug out before anyone knows we were ever there.
>>
>>34200481

Initial assault should be in a whole group.

However, if the situation calls for us to split up to chase multiple targets, we organise before hand into:
Rochelle
Julie
Sparky

Cole
Melissa
Morgan

-----

Tarin can go either way.

We should assault through the north entrance, since it has place for our armoured SUV as well to charge and lay down fire.

Hornet VTOL should blow out the office from the outside before hand, just incase.

Hows this for a basic plan?

A and B are our two Idol teams, C is K-Zwolf and D is our armored SUV (or VTOL if we get it in time)

A & B breach and move to nearest cover and then have the cargo in a crossfire, C watches the exit and is QRF and D provides fire support/distraction on demand and F is a contingency entry/exit.

We get sparky to prepare breaching charges for all 3 entries at A, B and C and we set off and breach A and B at once, and C if we need to or when we are exfil'ing.

For the reason that even if we just split down to two teams, each will only match the russians on a headcount level.

Just a single veteran like we saw in the hunt for the murderer gave our entire combined group problems, whats more 4 and in full combat gear.

On a equal 4 on 4, our girls are going to be in great danger until the other team can reinforce them.

Well, that could have gone better, you think.

You decide to silently tail Sparky, to at least find out what she's hiding. You wait a bit for her to leave the workshop before going after her. You don't really want to try using Harbinger to keep track of her, though. You've made it a point not to use it outside of missions both to preserve your idols' privacy, and because at this point, they can actually tell when they're getting "pinged" by Harbinger. It's something you don't want to risk at this time. However, your old tracking skills should come in handy, anyways. After all, there were times where you couldn't rely on all this fancy high tech stuff, anyways.

Keeping track of Sparky was easy enough. She kind of stood out and you doubt she ever learned the concept of "subtly", anyways. You silently stalk her all the way back the dorms, where she makes a beeline straight for... Cole of all people.

Now, this was a new development. Cole might be involved. It made sense, if this were the result of some botched snack raid. Then again, it could just be a simple chat. You had no proof. Unfortunately, Cole would probably be more vigilant about possible eavesdroppers than Sparky. Continuing would be risky.

HORNET ASSAULT VTOL - 12000/800 Upkeep
A small and fast attack VTOL mainly designed for recon and close air support. Is armed with two vulcan cannons and two rocket pods. Has no transport capacity, but can seat up to four passengers if the weapons are removed.

Guys is this okay?

It can only house four people is it's empty?

I guess so. NEMO is pretty good with a VTOL.
>>
>>34202096
>charging in with the van

Well considering the 'plan' that got agreed upon I don't think the SUV or the Van are being used for this beyond transport. Since Stig needs to be on stand by for once the fight is over.

>Stig will be waiting until the cargo is secure before moving in to retrieve it, depending on how large it is
>>
>>34202158

Which means a vehicle to provide fire support is even more important.
>>
>>34202178
Pretty much. The VOLT might be one of the only things beyond our sniper keeping the gang bangers out of this until the slavs are dead.

>Hornet Assault VTOL purchased!

>$3,400 remains

"Thank you for purchasing the Hornet Assault VTOL!" The automated Neucom shop attendant chimes. "The vehicle will be delivered to the specified address within a day! If it does not arrive, please let customer service know right away!"

With that piece of business done, you activate your phone and dial in Vahlen's number.

"This Dr. Vahlen speaking." You hear her voice.

"Dr. Vahlen, this is the Producer!" You say, trying to sound as casual as possible. "Remember that matter we talked about yesterday?"

"Yes, yes I do." Vahlen says, her interest piqued.

"Well, I was hoping if I could meet you somewhere. Privately."

"Ah yes, of course." Vahlen says, understanding the implications you were making. "Can you meet me in Murphy Memorial Park this afternoon?"

"Yeah, that's fine." You say, checking your schedule.

"Good, then I will see you there." Vahlen says. "Until then, Producer."

You sigh and drop down in your chair as Vahlen cuts the connection. All these missions piling up and now this corporate espionage stuff going on. Things were really started to get rather hectic now...

You just hope you'd be able to keep up. For the sake of your girls.

Not really? Not every time Producer does something without the girls does he need to get everyone something. Like really, there isn't a purpose to this beyond spoiling them rotten. Which is something we should be avoiding. It makes the stuff we actually give for more meaningful.
