You are Gertrude Pool, Sophomore Class President and new commander of Lafayette Girls Academy’s revived Tankery Team.

> PASTEBINS ARE NOT UPDATED AND I SHOULD REALLY GET TO UPDATING THEM AT SOME POINT WHILE I RUN.

There’s a honking outside. Ah. Damn it. That must be Dory and her girls. You were sleeping so soundly too. Your best good girls cuddle with you on either side, slumbering soundly. Fairless however, stirs a bit. “God… turn that fucking racket off…”

Oh yeah, you were supposed to help Dory and her Naval Studies Engineers for the day before practice. You reach for your phone, your arm a bit constricted beneath Kitten’s head. You pull it up.

> 4:30 AM.

Well. At least you can say you’re early to bed, early to rise, makes one healthy and wise! Benjamin Franklin, ladies and gents.

Though… then again, you are tried.

You quickly text Dory that you’ll be out in a bit. No time like the present. You squirm out of the grasp of Fairless and Kitten, then gently tiptoe your way to your closet, where on a coat hanger hangs your Naval Studies Uniform. You quickly throw it on, then dust it down a bit. You look back at the bed, where Kitten and Fairless sleep soundly. They’ll probably be mad you aren’t cooking breakfast.

Oh well.

You quickly run out, not bothering with a shower or breakfast. They probably have it prepared for you. In the dark morning is a Dodge WC-63 Truck overflowing with sleepy Naval Studies Students bundled up in coats and blankets. The driver, “Slade” Cutter waves you over. “Come on, Gertrude! We ain’t got all day!”

You run to the back of the truck, only for it to start moving forward. What?

Dory laughs a bit. “Come on, Gertrude! Stop dawdling!” You start running for the truck again, only for it to move forward away from you.

Oh, you see what they’re doing.

Fuck it. It’s time to become THE FLASH. The truck speeds up a bit, but you continue running after it. Your legs stomp the yard, propelling across the street after the truck. The air starts becoming less of a thing and more of an obstacle. Your eyes burn and your ears woosh with the sound of air. YOU’RE GETTING FASTER. HERE WE GOOOOOOO-

The truck stops.

OH SHIT.

You’re now lying on the street, groaning a bit. Dory looks down. “You okay?” You give her a thumbs up. “Alright, alright. Come on!” She offers her hand to you, which you take up, and soon you’re in the back of the truck.

Slade looks back. “Sorry about that.” You give her the finger in response. “Pft. Boots.”

You sit down between Dana Rockwell and Dory. Dana grins, bouncing in place when she realizes she’s sitting next to you. “Hi, Gertrude! Are you ready for a ripsnorting good day of welding, building, repairing, engineering, construction, technology, drafting, and radical restructuring!?”

You nod. “Sure! All of those! I’ll get to build ships, keep them coming, back the attack and all that shit!”

Dory says, “Actually, since you’re not a Naval Studies Engineer, you’re more likely to end up on the OJT with all the Freshmen.”

“Oh.” You blink. “Really?”

Dory shrugs. “If you want. We’ll see when we get there.”

The Dodge truck joins a huge convoy of other Dodge trucks, filled to burst with other Navy Students. Everyone stops around at a huge construction project, where the abandoned airfield used to be. You all hop out, shivering in the cold. Dory and the other Shift leaders take charge. “Alright, for all the Freshmen, welcome to your first construction outing, we have here a very special guest, Miss Gertrude Pool!”

All the Freshmen clap and applaud for you. You wave at your adoring mass.

“Right, first things first, this little area here is to be set down for a new Dormitory project for the Freshmen.” Everyone giggles and laughs. “Yeah, yeah. Laugh, it’ll be your sister or something who has to cross half the ship to get to school in the morning.”

Oh boy, maybe you should warn Griselda about that.

Eh, maybe not.

“Righto, let’s get down to business, Jones and Stephenson will start paving the asphalt.” She snaps her finger. “Oh, Gertrude. Since you’re here, is there any particular spot you’d like to take?”

“I’ll work with the Freshmen. Seems fine.”

“Alright,” says Dory. “Slade. You’re on call again, take the Freshmen, show them the ropes, alrght? Josie. Josie?”

“Huh?” Josie snaps out of her sky-induced stupor.

“Yeah, I’m sending you below deck to grab some materials for us. Alright?” She nods. “Okay. We all ready?” You all nod. “Right, let’s get rolling then.”

Slade stands in front of you all. “Alright. Today we’re just going to build the foundation. That involves digging up things, putting up the walls of the foundation, the works. It’s a simple job, and I’m not going to trust you boots with anything complex until you actually show me you can do this without me holding your hand. Work in pairs, trios if you can for double safety. Now, before we get started, let’s go over the health and safety instructions.”

You snap awake. Huh? “Alright, let’s get to work.” Ah shit, you fell asleep during the health and safety lecture. You check the time.

> 10:30.

… you were in that lecture for 4 hours? What the hell were you all talking about? You look around to see the Freshmen stand up, reviewing their notes and forming pairs. You decide Dana will be your best bet for now. “Come on, Dana.”

“Yay!” She raises her arms in the air as you drag her by the collar.

Alright. What’s your first duty.

Dig, and dig, and dig, and diggity dig and dig-

For some time, you, Dana, and the rest of the Freshmen have been assigned to digging. Jackhammers were issued, which meant you were given ear protection, and because there rocks in the ground, you were also given hard hats. And to complete the experience, you were given high-visibility jackets.

Gotta work smart. Gotta work safe.

“And you don’t get paid for this at all!?” you yell at Dana.

Dana brings her hand to her ear. “WHAT!?”

“I SAID!” The Jackhammer is being quite overbearing. “YOU DON’T GET PAID FOR THIS!?”

“NO! THE SCHOOL PAYS FOR OUR TUITION!” she yells back. “WHY DO YOU ASK!?”

“JUST ASKING!” you yell.

“I HEAR YOU HAVE A SISTER!” says Dana. “I ACTUALLY HAVE QUITE A FEW SIBLINGS MYSELF. ABOUT TEN BROTHERS IN FACT.”

… what

She shakes her head. “YEAH, MY CHILDHOOD WASN’T FUN.” She grins happily. “WAS YOUR SISTER INTERESTED IN TAKING NAVAL STUDIES? I’M SURE SHE’D FIND IT FUN! MAYBE EVEN REWARDING!”

> I haven’t talked to her about it

“I HAVEN’T TALKED TO HER ABOUT IT!” You take swig of water. Your throat is getting sore from all this yelling.

“WELL YOU SHOULD. YOU GET LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES WORKING AS A NAVAL STUDIES STUDENT!”

You finish the jackhammering. Everything stops completely however at the sound of one word and one word only.

“Lunch!” yells Dory. Yes, lunch! Finally… you don’t have a lunch. Damn it.

Dana sits at the edge of the trench, hanging her little legs off and kicking them as she opens up her lunchbox. “Did you want to share, Gertrude?” She offers up a ham sandwich as Josie, Jane, and Slade come over to eat as well. “It’s haaaaaaam~.”

You sigh. “Fine, fine, give it here.” She rips it in half and hands you the bigger slice. You take it and chew, and find it pretty much to your liking. “You know, guys. I was wondering.” They all look at you, attentive. “I tend to help my crews with anything they need, especially with the tournament coming up so soon. Do you have anything I can help you with?”

They all look at each other, then shrug. “Nope, nah.”

… “Really?” you ask. This is a first. “What about Dory?”

“What about her?” asks Slade.

“I’m just- does she have anything for me to help with?”

They all shrug. “We dunno.”

“You know Slade,” you say. “Tell me about Dory. Is there really anything I can help her with? Boyfriend, friends, grades?... porn?”

Slade shakes her head. “Nah, we know her pretty well. She’s a Straight A student, pretty popular with the girls too, no boyfriend near as we can tell but she tells us she ain’t interested in no relationship I say.” She shrugs. “Honestly, it seems like Dory don’t need no help.”

Speaking of Freddy, am I the only one who thinks that her latest appearance was... lackluster? Dana frowns a bit, saddened that you’re not sharing her lunch with her. Oh well, another time.

“Right,” says Dory. She smiles at you. “Thanks for the help!” She stands up and packs up the trash. “Anyway, we oughta get back to work. Gertrude, if you want, you can head to class.”

> Head to Campus

You wave goodbye to the Naval Studies students as you’re driven back to campus.

You arrive back at campus in good time, just in time for Health Class actually. Finally, you might have some time to catch up on your homework, all your schoolwork that you missed. Despite all your improvements in the academic field, you’ve failed at one fundamental thing: planning. Maybe for the next season you should have Nancy plan this stuff for you.

But anyway, you get on your way to health class, when a Professor stops you.

“Hey, Miss Pool.” He seems a bit desperate. “Listen, my wife’s in the hospital right now, could you watch my class for the rest of the day for me? I can’t find a substitute to replace me right now.”

> Okay, Professor!

“Alright, girls,” you say. “Today’s lesson will be…” You spin a pencil in your hands, looking through the lesson plan the Professor left for you. The girls of the class all look at you with stars in their eyes, sighing in bliss. Good grief. “… advanced calculus.”

Ah shit. Advanced calculus. There’s a reason you’re taking General Math 1 in Sophomore year, you’re terrible at math.

“Um…” You bite your lip. All the girls gasp, giggling a bit. What are they on about? “I know!” you snap your fingers. “Okay, forget about calculus for today.”

One of the girls raises her hand. “But we have a test on Friday!”

Ah shit.

“Okay, don’t forget about calculus for today!” you say. “Free period, study, work, get your homework done and uh…” You look back at the lesson plan. “Go work on Chapter 7, problems 1-50.”

They all groan.

“Odd problems only.”

They all cheer.

You sigh, your eyes failing to stay open. That was tiring! You can’t imagine being a teacher. It’s stressful enough taking care of the Tankery team. You can’t imagine having to bring any of that home with you.

But at least school’s over.

“Hi there, Gertrude!” Nancy waves at you, happy as ever as Lisa, Ramirez, and Kitten bring up the rear. They’re already wearing their Tankery uniforms beneath their heavy coats. “Enjoy Naval Studies work?”

You shrug. “It was good! Tiring I must admit, and having to take over for a math class too was pretty crazy. But otherwise, I think I’m good!”

Kitten smiles. “Sounds good, Trudy.”

“Yeah, one more thing for you to stress out about actually,” says Lisa. She brings up her smartphone and pulls up an email. “Miss Lutz just sent out the email about our match locale and our flag tanks. Here.” She hands it over to you.

“Of course we’ll win! It’ll be like the War! Except without the nukes and the horrible island hopping slog that kills thousands of people.”

Lisa nods. “Yeah, I’m sure Ooarai would appreciate that joke.”

“Oh hush you, I don’t make holocaust jokes around you, do I?” you say.

“I kind of wish you did. I enjoy jokes like that, but the minute the Jew walks in, suddenly it’s not right to say it,” she says. “Jeez. Maybe this is how Dory feels whenever someone brings up the fact that she’s black.”

“You and Dory friends?” you ask.

“We talk over the phone, occasionally we talk Boondocks with each other,” she says. “She even calls me the n-word from time to time.”

Kitten frowns. “So you’re complaining that nobody makes holocaust jokes around you and yet you won’t use the n-word?”

“No, because I’m not an asshole!” says Lisa simply.

With that, you arrive at the Tankery HQ. Your crews start pouring in afterwards behind you as well as you all get ready to train.

Miho's plans
Vs Glorianna-make plan, have it go to hell, improvise
Vs Saunders-seek enemy, discover douchebaggery, troll, snipe
Vs Anzio-cry havoc and let slip the girls of war
Vs Pravda-have plan go to hell, distract, seek and destroy
Vs Black Forest-screw with their dicipline, divide and conquer, tank shenanigans

She has plans against schools that have plans, and never loses sight of her goal.

We should counter that by giving general instructions to our officers, and let them deal with the smaller engagements, while we adjust those general instructions as the battle progresses. Miho adapts very quickly, we need to keep her off balance with rapid changes.

So the plan as far as /tg/ will be able to follow will likely then be.

>Assign squads.
>Go get em girls, make sure to tell us when you find em and don't get it stuck in to far if you can't win.
>>
>>34489630
I highly doubt they used WP flares, and if they did, then they would likely not allow them to use it as a lethal weapon. The tanks are protected against tank rounds, not smoke, after all.

... Oh, and there's a simpler reason why it wouldn't work: it wouldn't register as a hit on the tank.
>>
>>34489865
in short, yes. with us providing co-ordination
>>
>>34489649
To build on this anon, I say we employ "Mission Command".

Employ as many officers as we can, so 1 officer vehicle to 2 grunt vehicles.

Promote our existing officers to platoon command to oversee the new officers.

Now, onto mission command.

Mission command works on the idea of instructions being "Filtered down" - I.e

- Gertrude tells platoon 1 to advance to point A and wait. Platoon 2 is to cover their approach.

-Platoon 1 commander tells her subordinates what to do - eg Team 1 take point.

-Section commanders then command the other two tanks in their section.

This allows for a buttload of micromanagement without having to put strain on the command ladder.
>>
>>34489896
I would like to believe that but considering the bullshit Koingsburg pulled with the gasoline barrels I find it hard to believe
>>
>>34489865

Thats probably gonna be it.

Keep the plan simple and redirect reinforcements to where we find the enemy.
>>
>>34489924
But isn't micromanagement the worst possible way to fight someone like Miho? Also that sounds like way too much work.
>>
>>34489929
Wasn't that just because they were super desperate though?
>>
>>34489924
More complex than needed. I say we let the officers handle the details below them, we interact with officers/teams
>>
>>34489924
It's also exactly what Miho exploited in Black Forest.

So we shouldn't do that.
>>
>>34489958
For all commanders involved, there is very little work. It allows Gertrude to worry about the strategic level, and smaller units to worry about the tactical level.
>>
>>34489929
we haven't heard back on the ITC's decision on that yet.

I thought Duck team was just using smoke, not WP.
>>
>>34489929
That's because the Aces' tank actually lit on fire and overheated. A WP flare wouldn't do that to the tank.

>>34489924
Micromanagement has always bit us in the ass. Just give the officers general commands and adjust fire as necessary.
>>
>>34489985
Was it?
>>
>>34489649
It should be noted that since she's flag, she wouldn't be agressive with her own tank.
Her own tank also happens to have one of the few guns on their team that can threat our heavies.

The others are the Piger and the StuG. The others aren't as much of a threat unless allowed rear shots.

tl;dr target priority the Tiger P and the StuG.
If you think you're going to get Kelly's Heroes'd, HARD REVERSE.
Hetz the Hetzer before it Hetzes you.
Any unit of less than 4 tanks is a dead unit.
CATCH THAT FUCKEN' CLO- I mean, TYPE 89.
>>
>>34489977
That is what bothered me about the whole thing, they had better armored tanks, better guns, etc. The only tanks that was possibly better was the Aces.

And they nearly overwhelmed us despite the tactical advantage, the formation they took, and the experience. It should have been a lot more costly for them but it wasn't/
>>
>>34490015
The point is that we don't need to micromanage - the section leaders handle that.
>>
>>34489945
>redirect reinforcements to where we find the enemy.
Now that I think about it, Ooarai is also pretty good at tying down multiple, quality tanks with just a few or even one tank. i.e. I-Go and M3 Lee in the Japanese Finals, 38(t) against Pravda.

General RoE: DON'T TAKE THE EASY BAIT.
>>
>>34489649
Didn't that come more from just knowing what each school's general MO was like and extrapolating what they were likely to do from there? In which case all we need to do is act COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY to how we usually do.
>>
>>34490025
A strict command structure that only reacted to the leader?

Yeah.

I personally like the squads we already have, no need to micromanage any more than we have to.
>>
>>34489924

Schteel has mentioned previously that too many officers fucks things up by having too many command elements and possibly conflicting orders and intents.

Theres also the matter that not all our girls are officer/leader material, especially from the summaries we saw when picking out our new officers.
>>
>>34489993
You're also having way too many levels of command there. We only need four:
Gertrude
Officers
Tank commanders
Crew

Anything more is going to get too complex at this level.

“Alright, come on! This ain’t Kuro shit we’re dealing with!” You all run in columns down the street, in your Tankery Uniforms only. The vast majority of you all at least had the sense to wear stockings or warm undies.

Wendy yells, “Come on, you little munchkins! Ooarai isn’t going to let up on you! We need you in tip-top shape! That means you, Tex!”

“I’m trying my best!” screams Tex Avery as she brings up the rear.

You’re kind of wishing for Oryola right now. Maybe she would make this training just a tad more enjoyable.

“Oh, kotyonok!” A motorcycle rolls up next to your column, Oryola Kuznetsov in the sidecar with Natalya driving. Oryola kicks her feet up on the dash, smirking as she rides alongside. “Fancy meeting you here!”

Attached is a demonstration of mission command.

Gertrude needs to worry about the team objective, and how she will use the platoons to achieve it.

The platoon commanders worry about the platoon objective and how they will use the sections to achieve it.

The section commanders worry about the section objective, and how the section will achieve it.
>>
>>34490404
Well, the usual plan that we go with is to set up in a good fighting position and go from there. I think the best thing to do this time is have the officers go hunting instead. Miho will try to plan to assault defensive positions only to end up being harried.

Also, (haven't seen the Anzio fight) Miho tends to have everyone travel into a group until things go to shit, so that eliminates several possibilities as far as travel plans go.

>>
> “You want to help us train?”

“What brings you to these parts, Oryola?”

Oryola laughs a little. “I am just rolling around with sister, is that not right, Natalya?”

Natalya says, “We were in neighborhood. Saw you running.”

“Da, otherwise we just like visiting here.”

You nod. “Well, you guys want to join us in training?”

Oryola taps her chin, pensive. “Well… how you say uh… quite short notice. How about tomorrow, I will bring full experience of Kursk Girls Boarding School’s Armourcraft Program.”

> Kursk Girls Boarding School is offering their Joint Training Program for tomorrow

>>
>>34490707
It's excessively command heavy.

IRL most nation's ToE call for 3-4 tanks per Armored Section/Squad. There is a reason all nations have settled on that structure. Having less command elements as you suggest results in a lack of firepower to take independent action. Having more tanks per command element severely reduces the agility of the unit.
>>
>>34490737
It isn't rigid and inflexible though - it's very much able to adapt as fast as our usual tactics, just at a faster rate.
>>

>>34490707
And that's not the upgrade you need. That's the doctrine that screwed Saunders, if you recall.

Besides, that doesn't even resemble anything like what tank doctrine is like. A typical Army tank company has three platoons of four tanks, plus a HQ element half tanks half other things I'm not sure what they are. Obviously, we're playing this a bit different here, but it should be clear that what you have will not work: it has too many levels of command, and in the end will be too damn confusing.
>>
>>34490707

I am highly doubtful of whether we need a structure like this and whether it would even qualify as an upgrade.

We're not an IG armoured unit and moving towards Kuromine's style runs counter to how we've been running our tankery team.

Whats more you're asking to change our command and control style by adding an additional layer and giving different girls vastly different roles and responsibilities. All a matter of days before the final match. With barely any time to train or even get used to how this system will run.

No, switching now will give us more headaches and problems.

How is it faster? It requires that all the major decisions be routed through someone else, either Gertrude or one of the new ranks, which in the heat of battle will slow down our operations considerably. Improvisation by each crew is one of our best assets and we shouldn't be clamping down on it.
>>

Natalya says, “We must go pick up those… what you Americans call… cheddar. Apparently it is delicacy.” She smiles a bit. “I like that cheddar!”

“Yeah, sure,” you say. You look at Oryola, confused, to which she shrugs in as much confusion as you.

With that, Natalya and Oryola speed off away from the column and down the street.

“Oryola, is dash cam on?” you hear Natalya shout.

“We are in American schoolship, why would we need dash cam!?” Oryola yells back.

“Insurance!”

Oryola laughs. “Pizda staraya, keep driving!”

Ok, here is my idea for how we organize the troops.

M4A1
Jumbo Pershing
Stupa Series IV
T-34 Model 1944
To defend trude since Fairless has a perk to increase the defense of two tanks and I don't trust exchange students with the I-Go, also it's a shield that can be revived.

Churchill
Panzer Iv
COmet I
90mm Hellcat
Second line of defense and reserve forced to support the others

Panther Ausf G
Chaffee
GMC Scott
Souma 6-pounder

Scout tanks, in which can harass any small units.

The last 8 tanks can be divided into the main hiting force however the Stug and Firefly must be used as ambush tanks

>>
>>34491194
It's a bit strange to have Stupa in a group with rotating turrets

It's strange to put the Hellcat in a group that is generally slow - removes it's main advantage which is speed

But before that, do you have a plan of action?
>>
>>34491252
>>34491277
For offensive not really this is mostly for defense and scouting, That is why I didn't bother setting up teams for the last 8 tanks

The reasoning I put the Stupa there is because it has decent armor and it's track record in fighting tanks is not that great but I'm willing to change it.

Reserve force/second line of defense if shit goes down the Hellcat's speed can make it so it can get there before it's too late.

This is a rough draft anyway so feel free to make some changes but I must insist we keep the Jumbo Pershing to protect trude
>>
>>34491381
Even for defensive and scouting, you still need a plan of action.
>>
>>34491381
> For offensive not really this is mostly for defense and scouting,
All right, this is where I want to stop you: I think playing a defense game is not a good idea against Oorai, because that's usually how we roll and they're anticipating that. I think a better plan would be hunting parties, with Trude's group on the move to a location they wouldn't expect her to go at all: their side.

It's a risky plan, and I'm pretty sure it's going to get shot down, but defense isn't the plan you want when you're dealing with a small team known for surprises and Tactical Genius.
>>
>>34491381
Wouldn't the Hellcat be better suited as a scout though?
>>
>>34491446
I for one agree with this, they won't expect us to blitz and we can hopefully use that confusion to our advantage.
>>
>>34491449
I'd still stick with the M8 as a scout. Invaluable enough to lose in a scouting incident, small and fast enough to scout, armed enough to defend itself.
>>
>>34491429
Of course, but as of right now, I'm still working on it. This is just a draft.

>>34491449
High speed not much maneuverability. I think we discussed this before and that the American Army tested this and proved that it's for this reason (and it's paperthin armor) that it wasn't a good idea
>>
>>34491491
I don't think invaluable means what you think it means, though I can agree with the rest of your suggestion.
>>
>>34491449
Due to it's gun, I'ld put it in an ambush role rather than a scout. Scouting is a risky proposition that I'ld rather we not risk one of our big guns on.
>>
>>34491446
I'd rather have Trudy just constantly be on the move, supported by a fee other tanks than holed up in anyone place
>>
>>34491479
Another thing to add, since I mentioned it earlier: Oorai's tactic is to stay together at the beginning, then adjust when shit hits the fan. Even then, unless she has a specific plan or they're doing urban combat, Miho has everyone stick together. It's unlikely (unless Miho decides to alter her tactics from the beginning) that we'll see small tank groups except for maybe a single or two harassing groups (Hetzer gonna hetz).
>>
>>34491449
Also one of the reasons is because it's a first responder for something like their tiger and panther (or whatever else they have)

If need be and when their spotted, the Hellcat can go to the front and deal with it
>>
>>34491576
So we should try to break up their formation and see how they like being thrown into chaos.
>>
>>34491555
Yeah, I misused the word. It does not have enough value, I should have said.
>>
> Practical Training

“Alright, and push!”

Even with the grousers and even with Ace Drivers like Joanna, the tanks are bogging down in the heavy snow. The last few snowfalls the past few days brought over a foot and a half of snow, along with bits of rain to help freeze the snow over. In short, not only were you pushing your tanks out of phantom gullies and disappearing trenches, but even towing them was becoming a bit of a pain.

You and the loaders help push the King Tiger out of a gully. “Jesus Christ that thing’s heavy!” yells Elouise.

Kate stands out of the commander’s hatch. “Of course it is, it’s a Schwerer Panzer as they say in Germany. Keep pushing.”

After one concerted effort, the King Tiger frees itself from the gully, but not before splashing you all with snow and slush. “This sucks,” says Georgia Jones.

“Agreed,” says Jane Bradley.

You sigh. Maybe gunnery will be better?

“I can’t see a thing!” Turns out its not much better. Night’s already fallen, which means the targets on the other side of the field are pretty much invisible. “Someone fire off a flare!” you yell.

Ramirez pokes out of the loader’s hatch, loads a flare gun, then fires an illuminating shot into the air. The field becomes a glowing red as you try to make out the silhouette of the target. “Alright, Nancy, adjust by two degrees left.” The turret turns left, then snaps to a stop. “Good… see it?”

Nancy nods. “Yep.”

“Fire when ready.”

The gun fires, splashing snow and slush up. The shot impacts the target with good accuracy. “Very good, Nancy.”

“Yay!” Nancy applauds herself.

I agree it wouls provide an advantage but it would only last as long until recon or scout tanks spy the locations of our tanks.

We're dealing with an extremely flexible tank commander here. The moment she see that our assumed deployment is different, she will immediately be adjusting her tanks to fit the situation.

It is a high risk style and against someone like miho, a weakness like this will easily be jumped upon once she figures out our tactics.

To all commenting on Miho tactics.

She never uses the same one.

She uses scouts against Gloriana and Saunders and Anzio.

Charging her early was tried by Kuro but she got away relatively ok. Her offense is also quite good, e.g. fighting Pravda during the breakout.

In short, you don't know what she's thinking. She's Perrine at 110%. Just deploy the best you can and ignore Miho till you have a firm grasp on what she's up to.
>>

>>
I suggest we have Ramirez and the Japanese Exchange Students call her up and see what new tanks she has.

>>
>>34491886
She DID use her own tank to scout and bait, but she used scouts AFTER she got suspicious of being tracked by Saunders, and... uh... didn't see the Anzio one yet, so I'll give that to you. But with Pravda and Black Forest they were just rolling along and fighting (though to be fair Black Forest used voodoo magic to somehow sneak up on them).

“Milashka!” Oryola and Natalya come in with bags full of cheese. Oryola throws her arms wide, grinning. “I missed you”

“AAAAHHH!” Wendy charges her, to which Oryola simply grabs both of her hands and stops her cold in her tracks.

“Ah, ah, you think you can just charge me like little boar?” Oryola pouts mockingly. “You insult me.” She giggles a bit. “Ah, I forgive you, milashka!” She rubs her dirty cheek against Wendy’s face, to which Wendy can only squeal and struggle against Oryola’s rather casual grip. “Come on, give me kiss!”

“Ah, fuck you, you commie piece of shit!” Wendy struggles, trying to pull away.

You meanwhile, head over to the Animation Club. Willie Hanna is busy talking with the Naval Studies Merchant team. “And voice acting is easy, right?” asks Dales.

The Animation Club students all look at each other, then begin laughing. “Wahaha! Ahaha!” The confused Naval Studies students look at them funny, as if they were nerds (which they are). With that, you hold the last bit of practice of today, theory training. You all sit around in the Lecture Room, with Oryola and Natalya standing in the back. Michelle lectures you on the principles of gunnery. “Right, as a gunner, most of you have the command of the tank turret. Now, getting the gun into line is easy, the turret not really so. You really have to get it into that fine line of where you want it to be. Sometimes you have to settle for near where you want it to hit. And you should be hitting is weakpoints. Forget broadsides and just “hit the rear”, weakpoints can make or break you. Let’s go over it.”

“Machine gun ports. Visors. Pistol ports. Mufflers. All of these are weakpoints which can potentially knock out a tank. Make sure you keep the silhouette of a tank to heart, so that you know where each and every weakpoint is.”

And with that, practice comes to a close.

With our current upgrade schedule, adding the eliting of the Hellcat and Panzer IV will put us at everything ready on Sunday morning.

It's time for her to get over the anime fangirls, if they're also present.
>>
>>34493366
We can work in the shop, we have the vacation days to do so.
>>
>>34493423
Does working in the shop REALLY speed up eliting?
>>
>>34493366
We have 6 vacation days left, so we have Thursday and Friday to work on them. It's only two days and Trude said she's doing well in school, we can take the time to max out our tanks.
>>
>>34493423

Still not enough days.

The finals is on saturday.

We already need to work in the shop to make sure all our tanks are elite in the match.
>>
>>34493454
I'd be surprised if the teachers could even concentrate. Their jobs are on the line too.

Points of interest

Roughly 1k away from our start point is this small wooded area. It could be used for visual cover.

Also we're on autosage and page 9.
>>
>>34493442
It worked with Koingsburg right before the match.
>>34493461
Yeah, by like one tank maybe but Thursday is free however.

We can take Thursday to still help out with an extra tank, if we're that badly pressed for time we can ask the Naval Studies to help us out

>>
> Head somewhere

You, your staff, all the Naval Studies Kids of Engineering and Merchant, and the Animation Club all begin the trek back to the Animation Club building. Jo Barbera says, “Right, you can stay over while we work on the voice stuff. No big deal really.”

You smile. “Thanks, Barbera. That’s real nice of you.”

“Yeah, just don’t take advantage of it or nothing.” She shrugs a little. “You’re paying for pizza.”

“That’s fine!” You like pizza anyway, as long as its good, then again pizza is always good even when its bad.

You arrive at the Animation Club building. Barbera pulls out a huge skeleton key, then unlocks heavy metal door and lets you all in. “Go on, Anime Club Pres will be by tomorrow morning hopefully.” Oh, that’ll be fun. At least she’s not a total weeb. The interior of the Animation Club building has remained much the same, though it seems to reek of pizza for some reason.

Hmm, kinda disappointing to not see a single mention of Fairless after the OP, and what she and Trudy did in the last thread's ending.
>>
>>34493799
I bet we'll see her again when Trudy goes to bed.

> Begin the Voice Acting

Dana and Barbera sit outside your voice booth, behind some mixer or computer of some sort. You meanwhile, stand alone in the voice booth, with headphones over your ears and a microphone hanging in front of you. Before you is the script. “So, what character am I voicing?” you ask.

“Only the main one,” says Barbera. “Magical Girl Liberty. Now Liberty is somewhat based off of Captain America we should say so basically, play this thing by ear. She’s an honorable kind of character, commands a lot of respect. She’s sort of like you except a little more…” Barbera’s tongue hangs on the word. “… what’s the word?”

“Thoughtful?” you say.

“Yeah, sure,” says Barbera. “Anyway. Looks like mic levels are good. Go ahead when you’re ready.”

You clear your throat. How do you want to do this?

Terribly sorry, but I have to cut today's thread short. My sister's home and I have to have dinner with her.

Next thread will start with tomorrow and pick up with today's choice, whichever wins.

Again, sorry, sorry. Could I ask a kind anon to archive this for me?

So sorry.
