The girl seemed heavily damaged so you apply some of your herbs to the girl… however it seems that the npcs here need more than just hp as even when the girl’s hp heals back to maximum, her wounds do not fully regenerate. Maybe its an NPC thing.

You decide that its best to challenge this mountain with your full strength as you place the girl on the ground softly before with a few taps on the magic system prompt screen, you activate the

As soon as you click the spell, you feel mana drain out of your body as with a glance you note that you have lost 50 mana.
Than the waiting game begins as you’re forced to wait around bored whilst magic slowly gathers before you.
After 2 hours of mind-numbingly boredom, the spell is complete and a portal between the base of the mountain and an area of the plains is temporarily opened.

Picking up the girl you step on though the portal and as soon as you finish… you start again… and again… and again… It happens multiple times and with each time, you’re boredom grows heavier.

You can’t even log out whilst waiting since that would cancel the spell. You were normally good at doing boring activities however the boredom from doing this was much to heavy.

After a few uses, your mana is finally drained empty as your mana regen could no longer keep up with your mana usage.
You however are extremely glad of this as it finally gives you a chance to stretch your legs as you start running than sprinting in the direction of the town with glee… until the mana regenerated and boredom once again started.

An endless cycle of portal>run>portal>eat>repeat (with occasional sleep) kept happening until finally, after 3 days, you have reached just outside the beginner city of Yarun’s gates.
You remember the crazy grill for a brief second before realising that she’s probably already left towards the mountain.

You decide that the best bet would be to meet the old lady who is knowledgeable in herblore, you can even get some herblore related quests/advice which as the old saying goes "kills two birds with a single stone".

After thanking the guards for their help (and ignoring their occasional stares at the girl), you follow the directions given to in front of a small discrete hut made of what appears to be straw and other plants.
Whilst all the other buildings are made of wood or brick, this one was noticeably different.
After putting on your most "friendly" smile, you walk up to the old house and knock on the plant door producing a light thud.

You're greeted with a raspy yet friendly voice of
"Come on in~" as you open the door revealing...
A small hut filled with pots of plants covering every wall and table with nearly no room to walk. In the centre, tending to what appears to be a yellow leafy plant stands an old lady who's face is filled with wrinkles.

"Greetings, guess you're going to want some help with that arm and the girl?" She calls out with a raspy voice.

You of course answer with an strong affirmative
"Of course"

"Of course a dear boy such as yourself would be happy to do an old lady like me a favour in return for the help I give~?" she calmly names her price.

You thought it might be gold but apparently it's going to be a quest

By equipment I meant you had some equipment in your inventory that wasn't being equipped (e.g. berserker armour) and the fact that you currently can go for both claymore or dagger offensive both are close to unlocking their respective mastery

I don't even know how to fix the clusterfuck that is our build at this point.

We've exceeded level 10 long before properly taking advantage of it or even getting a proffession.

We don't have a main weapon yet, and I don't know what would be good in the first place.

We don't have enough money FOR equipment.

We still need all the little things, like bandages, pharmacist tools, torches, camping supplies, cooking ingredients, flint, axes, pickaxes, nails, etc.

Oh, reminder:

Production classes like Blacksmith and Enchanter will probably have the Identification skills, while Merchants are the ones able to sell/buy at the best profit margins given correct information.

A lot of money can be made from good food and potions, since everyone burns through them, EVERYONE.

Solo play is actually crap, just less crap than being uncoordinated in a party. True teamwork trumps everything else.

NPCs don't log off, and are therefore the best at getting constant revenue. Getting NPCs under us is a good investment, whether through recruitment or land owning.
