Characters and Gunpla: http://pastebin.com/EF7ZcvHD

You are JACK FOULKE, an amateur Gunpla Fighter with dreams to make your own mark on the Gunpla battle scene!

"Come on, Jack!" Holly whines. "We're gonna be laaaaaate!"

"You do know that my fight's not until the afternoon, right? It's one of the last battles." You sigh.

"But I wanna see the other battles!" Holly pouts.

Honestly, you wanted to use this extra time to tune up your Jester. Then again, watching the other matches would give you a good opportunity to see the competition in action...

Well, you might as well go see the opening matches. It could give you some valuable insight on the competition. Plus, well, it's not like you could really refuse Holly, anyways. You were pretty much responsible for her since Mom and Dad weren't here.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming." You say, making sure to pack your Jester into its carry case and taking it with you.

"Yes!" Holly squeals. "This is gonna be so fun, watching you and Charlotte kicking butt!"

"It's just the first round..." You chuckle.

In the hall, you run into Lucina, who's just leaving her room as well.

"Oh, what a coincidence!" Lucina blinks. "Off to see the opening matches, too?"

"Yep!" Holly nods. "Hey, where's Charlotte?"

"Ah, she left earlier than me." Lucina shrugs. "I guess she really wanted to go."

Well, you couldn't blame her for that.

The three of you then walk over to the stadium. However, as you reach the entrance, you see two different doors for fighters and spectators.

"Sorry, fighters only." The guard posted at the door says, and from the looks of it, you probably won't be able to bluff your way past him.

"Well, I guess we can just watch from the sidelines, then." Lucina sighs. "I'll keep an eye on Holly for you."

"Ah! Jack! Nice to see you here!"

You turn to see Ral coming in with the next wave of spectators. He pulls himself free of the pack and makes your way to you.

"Here to observe the opening matches?" He says in a friendly tone.

"Yeah." You nod.

"A smart move. Many of the fighters here will most likely be revealing their trump cards and strategies." Ral nods. "In fact, the opening rounds were designed specifically to encourage this."

"Not at all!" Ral chortles.

"Good luck, Jack." Lucina smiles.

"Go kick their butts!" Holly grins.

You just laugh and wave as you head through the fighters' entrance. You're led through a long hallway until you finally arrive at the fighters' lounge, where all of the tournament fighters have been assembled. There's... quite a lot, even though a good chunk of them are already prepping in the stadium. There are flatscreens scattered all around, showing footage of various tables, no doubt to keep track of all of the fights, as well as chairs and lounges for comfort.

Looking around, you manage to pick out Fellini and Mao, who seem to be sticking together. You also catch sight of Charlotte and Laura, who also are oddly enough paired up. In addition, you see one of the previous finalists, Luang Dallara among the pack.

You head over to where Charlotte and Laura are sitting. They both seem pretty chummy with each other, as far as you can tell.

"Actually, we ran into each other last night at the party." You say. "But, uh, we didn't really say much."

You decide to stay quiet and just focus on the fights. However, the only notable one you see in the first round is the one involving the Renato Twins. You remember seeing their matches in the last couple of tournaments. They had a reputation for being pretty sleazy fighters, using any loophole or cheap trick they could find. They also constantly rotated Gunpla so that their opponents couldn't get a handle on their fighting style. However, you were sure they'd stick with their GM Sniper K9, as it was consistently their most successful Gunpla.

However, this time, they seemed to be using a Delta Plus. Its opponents were a GN-X, Aeres, and of all things, a Nyaaguy.

The Delta Plus starts off in plane mode right away, and gets in a dogfight with the Aeries while the GN-X and Nyaaguy duke it out on the ground. The Delta plus swoops in, its beam rifle flashing. The Aeres pilot is actually pretty good, and manages to avoid the beams and fires a swarm of missiles in response. The Delta Plus accelerates and tries to climb, releasing countermeasures. The majority of the missiles are spoofed, but at least one manages to get in, as you see the Delta Plus rocked by and explosion and it plummets to the ground, leaking smoke before plowing into the dirt below. Satisfied, the Aeries turns back to the main ground fight, where the Nyaaguy is just finishing tearing up the GN-X with its beam claws. Its hideous kitty face then turns to face the Aeries and it fires a flurry of beam shots.

Again, the Aeres' pilot is good, and dodges the beam fire. It flies over the Nyaaguy and drops a bomb. The Nyaaguy attempts to flee, but a stream of machine gun fire stops in its tracks, and the massive, high explosive bomb drops right behind the Nyaaguy, engulfing it in fire seconds before the blastwave tears it to pieces.

>>
>>34912190
The Aeres then waggles its wings in victory right before a purple beam lances through its chest.

The camera swings back down to the ground, where the Delta Plus, still intact, holsters its beam rifle as the Aeres explodes.

BATTLE ENDED

"Clever bastards." Charlotte frowns. "They faked a crash to fool their opponent into lowering his guard."

"A cheap but effective tactic." Laura nods. "But a tactic for cowards."

Both girls then turn to you, as if wanting to hear your input.

>>The Aeres then waggles its wings in victory

This is where the Aries fighter screwed up. Thinking that victory is already in possession enough to warrant some showboating.

Also, anyone at this level should be savvy enough to confirm that their opponent is truly down.
>>
So how would we classify the other characters in the Quest under the 3 Ace Styles from what we have seen so far?
>>
>>34912215
"I think it was a legitimate play." You say. "Honestly, it was good tactics on the Renatos' part. It was kind of the fault of the Aeres pilot not confirming the kill."

"I guess that's true." Charlotte nods. "Guess it's more sneaky play than dirty cheat."

"I've heard the Renatos are particularly adept in that regard." Laura sighs.

A loud buzzer announces that the first round of matches has concluded, and now the second fight is starting. You see Fellini and Mao heading off towards the stadium, and you guess that it's their turn on the stage. Looking a the screen again, you see that Fellini and Mao are in separate matches.

As Fellini walks up to his assigned table, he does a bit of a flirty gesture to the women in the audience, causing quite a few to swoon and earning poisonous looks from jealous boyfriends and Kirara alike. Mao waves enthusiastically to an older looking girl in the audience before jogging up to his assigned table.

>>34912484
You decide to focus on Mao's fight first. Of course, he's bringing the Crossbone Maoh. Its abilities were already fairly well established, in that it had a built in Satellite Cannon. However, unlike its predecessor, the Maoh X, the Crossbone Maoh apparently didn't need to collect solar energy to fire its cannon. Or at least, its solar collection was so much more efficient that it didn't need huge, vulnerable solar panel arrays anymore.

The Crossbone Maoh takes off against a Zaku III, Dorado, and Silver Bullet in a space field. Immediately, all 3 opponents move to attack the Crossbone first, correctly regarding it as the biggest threat among them. The Crossbone Maoh opens up with its Satellite Cannon. Both the Dorado and Silver Bullet are fast enough to dodge the beam, but the Zaku III is not so lucky. The bottom half of it is caught in the beam, disintegrating its legs and waist before the entire mobile suit explodes.

With their impromptu formation broken up, the Dorado and Silver Bullet instead opt to try and take out Mao from both sides at once. The Crossbone quickly backpedals to avoid the wild beam shots its two opponents are firing, though it occasionally bats away sure hits with some sort of I-Field device in its arms. The two oncoming mobile suits then swap to beam sabers as they close in for the kill.

The Crossbone then draws its twin Crossbone gunblades, parrying the Dorado's attack and sending it away with a kick to the chest. The Silver Bullet takes a swipe, but the Crossbone does a spin dodge. As it turns to face the Silver Bullet again, you can see its chest skull already opened up and it fires a second Satellite Cannon blast at point blank, incinerating the Silver Bullet.

(cont)
>>
>>34913287
That was some seriously fast recharge time, you note.

The Dorado continues to press the attack, lunging in with its twin beam sabers. The Crossbone holsters its twin gunswords and instead pulls out a full size Beam Zander and brings it around in a horizontal slash. It cuts straight through the Dorado's beam sabers as it tries to parry them, and the Dorado is cleaved in two at the torso.

BATTLE ENDED

"Dang, I didn't think Mao would be that good." You whistle. "I guess Shingyo style is the real thing."

"Well, that's why he's one of the favorites to win." Charlotte nods. "No doubt this Crossbone has more toys packed away.

You then quickly switch to Fellini's fight, but it's already long over, with the Gundam Wing Rinascita standing over the burned out hulk of a Z'Gok as the victory banner appears.

"Jeez, these guys are really something." You frown.

"They will be worthy opponents." Laura nods.

And the buzzer announcing the end of the second round blares.

"Well, we're up!" Charlotte stands up from her seat. "Come on, Laura, let's kick some ass!"

"We're not even in the same battle group." Laura frowns. "And it's a free for all. You can't team up."

"Ugh, nevermind." Charlotte sighs. "Let's go. See ya, Jack!"

As the two girls dash off to the arena, you see Fellini and Mao returning, obviously in high spirits.

Well, you couldn't really fault them for that.

"So I suppose you guys upgraded your Gunpla since last year?" You ask.

"Any good fighter will keep improving on their Gunpla as time passes." Fellini grins. "The worst thing a fighter can do is let their Gunpla stagnate."

"Yeah. When you get stronger as a fighter, your Gunpla needs to get stronger alongside you!" Mao nods. "I can guarantee you'll be very surprised if we ever face each other later on!"

Oh well. Have we started on making specialized Balls yet?

We're probably going to need another defense ball for the elimination fight, and probably some high-mobility balls for any races.
>>
>>34913929
One defense ball is fine.

also our regular dakks balls are plenty speed enough considering they have a speed number of 5 and with the Gn drive it will boost it's speed even more

Yep. So basically, two Meijin tier fighters are present.
>>
>>34913929
Just those other choices Holly gave us when we picked the defense ball, I had been thinking about a sort of Heavy Weapons Ball, either with a beam cannon or a railgun, something that can hit hard
>>
>>34913929
>>34914020
Don't forget, we still need to make that Wrecking Ball as well.
>>
>>34914020

>>
>>34913681
You eye Laura's fight, where her Loto Leopard was in some sort of snowy environment. It was doing some rather wild maneuvering in the snow as a Bolt Gundam wielding twin AK-47s blazes away, bullets pinging off the Loto's armor. Sure, the Loto's armor seemed to be holding for now, but there was only so much punishment it could take. However, Laura didn't seem to care as it drove forward at full speed. You could see a bright pink energy shield deploy in front of the Loto as it charges. The Bolt Gundam stands its ground and continues unloading bullets into the approaching Gunpla, but the rounds spark harmlessly against the Loto's energy shield. The Bolt Gundam then braces itself, ready to take the charge head on.

And its torso just disappears.

It was an almost blink and you miss it moment. But the moment the energy shield made contact with the Bolt Gundam's chest, the entire thing just seemed to vanish.

"Wow, an energy shield capable of completely atomizing whatever it touches." Mao whistles. "I have to hand it to the Germans to find a way to turn a defensive weapon into an effective offensive one."

(cont)
>>
>>34913972
I was thinking balls which would attach to our suit to boost our speed further. Think of them like verniers on the Tallgeese, to make a fast suit even faster. I mean, it's sort of irrelevant having fast balls for a race, if what the judges are looking for is the suit that crosses the lines first.

The idea of another defense ball is to ensure when something like Mao's satellite cannon is firing, we can actually protect ourselves, because our current defensors won't hack it.

Other thoughts were for a Trans-am boosting ball, which would either allow our trans-am to last longer, or allow us to access hax, and trans-am burst.

>>34914020
That'd be kinda cool, our dakka balls are heavily ammunition based, maybe something with the power of the Unicorn's beam magnum, or stronger.

I mean it's fine and all that we'll eventually have 4 balls. But them all being dakka is kinda, dull, and just adding more dakka seems foolish.

And also not looking at other types of balls is essentially ignoring Mao's advice.
>>
>>34914184
Suddenly, a Taurus appears from behind and fires a trio of beam shots right into the Loto's rear, and there's a large explosion. The Taurus pauses to confirm the kill, and several long seconds pass until two armor piercing shells fly out of the cloud of smoke and evaporated snow, blowing apart the Taurus as a largely intact Loto steps out of the cloud.

BATTLE ENDED

"Wait, how did it survive that?" You blink. "It took a direct hit from that beam."

"I think..." Fellini frowns. "An I-Field? No, it never would have hit the armor otherwise."

"Reactive armor!" Mao snaps his fingers. "It's cheap and doesn't use any power! Once it gets heated up by the beam, it explodes and the shockwave momentarily scatters the plavsky particles, negating the beam for just a second!"

"Wow, you can tell that just by looking?" You blink.

"Of course! I'm the best builder in the world, you know!" Mao grins.

Actually the battle with team no-scope and the match with kennith had me thinking of our lack of physical power of our balls.

Their fast and pack a lot of firepower but they don't have any physical defenses. What I'm thinking is a very minor upgrade but might be interesting to consider.

Spikes/horns on a small part of the ball similar to that of the Zaku II shoulder spikes. So if Balls do have to Melee they can tackle and use those spikes/horns to punctuate the armor a little

Our Dakka Balls are more about throwing lots of shit in the enemies general direction, for the Heavy Weapons Ball I was thinking of something to help deal with high armor opponents, when Kenneth pulled out the mobile armor we wouldn't have had anything to deal with it if we hadn't brought along Jake and the Guntank

but can't we just give them better mean/physical weapons and it's still as heavy?

The idea of a heavy weapon's ball alluds me since our balls are doing a good job at that.

Also Jake's Guntank didn't do that much unless poured a lot of rockets as a distractions.
>>

>>
>>34914499
>but can't we just give them better mean/physical weapons and it's still as heavy?
Not really, I mean most heavy weapons trade rate of fire for firepower, it's best to have both if we can, our Dakka balls for high RoF and something with high firepower

>Also Jake's Guntank didn't do that much unless poured a lot of rockets as a distractions.
The Guntank was the one that killed the armor
>>
>>34914596
>>34914553

He didn't kill the armor, he just blew a chunk of Kennith's armor off iirc. Sicne the Mobile armor still used the weapon destroyer.
>>
>>34914662
He blew it up enough that Ken had to get out of it and fight us in his Unicorn instead. I'd count that as blowing it up.
>>
>>34914662
Still did more damage than we could have done on our own, his shot was what made Kenneth bail after he got hit
>>
>>34914702

Fair point, In my mind he just gotten a face full og guntank lead and was more pissed then hurt but you make a good point in that it knocked him off his armor

"You have a point there." You concede.

"Anyways, I think it's time for your you match!" Mao says as the buzzer sounds again.

Damn, he's right. Your very first World Tournament match was coming right up.

"Excited? Nervous?" Fellini grins.

"A lot of both." You admit.

"Don't worry. I was a shambles before my first battle, too." Fellini chuckles. "Trust me, once you're on the battlefield, your worries just completely melt away. You can't afford to get distracted like that."

"Thanks, Fellini." You nod and dash your way to the arena. You pass by Charlotte and Larua on the way out, and give them a grin and wink as you pass, trying t hide your anxiety. Charlotte just smiles back.

Well, seeing the main stadium through a television was one thing, but actually being IN it was an entirely different feeling. You suddenly felt very, very, VERY tiny standing at the center, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of spectators and Gunpla fans.

However, you don't have a lot of time to marvel, as you're quickly rushed over to your assigned table by the stadium staff.

You take one more look at the massive crowd and briefly wonder where Lucina and Holly were in that mass.

Shaking your head to focus, you open up your case and pull out your Jester. When you come to your Balls, you take out your...

You decide to bring along your two Dakka Balls for this one, sliding them into place on the holding racks on your Jester's back.

"Fighters, are you ready?" The stadium staff watching the table ask.

You and your three opponents nod.

"All right, then place your Gunpla on the table!" He instructs.

SET GP BASE

BEGINNING PLAVSKY PARTICLE DISPERSAL

FIELD: MOON

Your Jester drops down onto the dusty lunar surface. Off in the distance, you can see the outline of the Von Braun lunar city. Your sensors don't immediately register anything nearby, but they already detect three contacts in close proximity over Von Braun. It looks like the other fighters are already at it. You engage your boosters and jet towards the city, eager to get into the fight as well.

The trade off is weight and size, not "rate of fire," or "firepower." General Dynamics could make a 14" naval gun go through ten rounds a minute if they had to incentive to.

Besides, this is fiction. I really wouldn't try to apply real world physics to what's literally space magic.
>>
>>34915922
Not really feeling stomping a guy in a 3v1, even if he had the technically superior suit, you target the GINN and Stark Jegan first. Due to your attack angle, you actually end up behind them and they don't realize you're coming, as they're tunnel visioning on their current target. You're pretty sure the GP01 can see you approaching, but if it did, it did not give you any indication, instead continuing to dodge beam and machine gun shots and firing back whenever it can.

You know that the Stark Jegan was pretty well armored for an MP suit, not to mention it had a lot of heavy weaponry at its disposal. The GINN, meanwhile, looked to be pretty stock without anything too special.

The GINN and GP01 never even stood a chance. Both of your Dakka Balls pop out from Von Braun's shadow and unloading everything they have. Beam rifles, autocannons, and missiles of all kinds. You contribute with your beam rifle, scoring punishing hits.

Both enemy suits literally evaporate under the sustained assault. The Ginn is blow to pieces, its head and limbs tumbling down to the lunar surface below. The GP01 fares a little better, but only just. Beam shots lance through its head and chest while panzerfaust rounds annihilate its arms and weapons, causing the suit to tumble down to the lunar surface as well. Both Gunla carcasses land with a loud WHUMP, sending clouds of lunar dust into the nonexistent atmosphere.

BATTLE ENDED

You breathe a sigh of relief as the table shuts down. There's a lot of cheering going on as well, but you're not sure if it's for you specifically or for some other fight that's still going on. You're quickly ushered out and back to the fighter's lounge, where Charlotte, Laura, Fellini, and Mao are waiting for you.

"That was pretty good, kid." Fellini grins. "That all out attack at the end. Kind of reminds me of another fighter I used to mentor."

"Hmph, I have to give your sister credit. Maybe Balls are a more effective weapon than people think." Mao nods.

"Your performance was acceptable." Laura says simply.

"Um, thanks?"

"That was freaking badass!" Charlotte slaps you on the back. "You keep fighting like that, and you'll breeze straight through to the finals!"

If nothing else let's text Holly and Lucina to meet up with them
>>
Now that the secret is out about Balls being awesome, I suspect we'll have some foes who will charge them. I suggest rigging one of our new balls up as a kamikaze, but with bits to make it appear like a normal dakka ball.
>>
>>34917669
Or we could just load up all the balls with as much RDX-substitute as we can and call it a day.
>>
>>34917694
That is also a decent substitute. I just want balls exploding with fury.
>>
Our Balls destroyed a Hi-Nu by themselves.

So does this count as a share kill or do the balls get credit for both kills?
>>
>>34917669
So it looks like a Dakka Ball, but when someone blows it up the guns detach and turn into funnels? I like it.

>>34917669
No Kamikazes, that's just being an asshole. We should set it for when they are destroyed, they should explode goo all over the place, slow them down.
>>
>>34917669

We do that and Holly will withdraw all ball support.
>>
>>34917803
Doubt it.

Besides, World Championship. Gotta up our ball handling game.
>>
>>34917803
we could kinda stretch the truth a bit
"hey holly I had an idea for a scout ball. It would be a slightly less armed dakka ball with a bigger jetpack (or whatever you call the thing that lets them go is call) but since it's a scout it will likely get shot down so to discourage that we'll load it up with funnals that will attack any gundam that is foolish enough to shoot it down. It's main goal is to find the enemy so I can engage them"
>>
>>34917573
So uh, now I gotta ask, what's the next event?

"Well, usually, the second event is the Battle Royale." Fellini says. "It's been that way for the past few years and I don't see that changing now."

"And what exactly happens in that?"

"Well, pretty much every fighter is put in the field at once and expected to fight. Once 2/3 of the fighters have been eliminated, the remaining fighters get 4 points." Fellini explains. "There's lots of ways to do it. Some fighters team up to take down others, some hide and wait things out, and others just go lone wolf."

"I see..." You nod. "Anyways, I should probably go pick up sister..."

"Wait!" Mao says. "Don't you want to see the Meijin's entrance?"

"What?" You blink.

"Yeah, the Meijin officially joins the tournament after the first round." Charlotte says. "Apparently it's a tradition dating back to the first Tournament."

You remember that the Meijin is supposed to be one of the best fighters in the world, hand picked by PPSE to represent them in the field. He's as much a mascot as he is a fighter, and he was absolutely deadly.

Right, except he didn't do that. He stumbled about getting his ass kicked until he lucked into picking up a weapon the Renatos had thought he lost. Kawaguchi's a jobber. I'd rather not waste my time pretending he's something special.
>>
>>34917937
>Other. Watch the Meijin entrance from the spectator stand with Holly and Lucina.

If he's coming in with his Exia Amazing, then Lucina would probably have a few words about it for the sake of comparison with her own Gunpla.
We can also both bounce around ideas and speculation on how much improvement the Meijin's gunpla went under since the last championship.

Guy with the Delta from last thread. Fiddled around with it some more because reasons.

So now not only does it have a Hi Mega Cannon in its head, its wing binders have built in VSBRs, and the shield is basically the Muramasa Blaster.

Still doesn't have an actual color scheme because I'm a lazy git like that.
>>
>>34918163
No, the upgrade to the Dark Matter Exia was forced on him. Up until then he was perfectly happy with the Amazing Exia. It was the gunpla he choose to fight Julian with, it clearly has some importance to him.

Reasonable, but then why did he pick the Kampfer to fight Sei with immediately post tournament as the dome fell down around them?

No, even the Kamper was one that was built by PPSE and not himself. Still, aside from the Zaku Amazing and I THINK a Hobby Hizack, he's preferred to use Gundams. Could be a toss up, really.

He didn't. He used parts from it to repair the Amazing Exia after the damage it had taken fighting the Mocks. All he had of the Kampfer were an arm and a leg.

"Sure, I can stay here for a bit." You shrug. Holly was with Lucina anyways, so things should be fine.

You all head out to the ringside box reserved for fighters so you can get a firsthand view. The entire stadium darkens as the announcer comes on.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" He bellows. "I present to you, the MEIJIN!"

The crowd cheers as a spotlight comes on, showing the one and only Meijing stand in the center of the stadium, looking cool and badass like he always did. It's difficult to tell what he was feeling behind those dark sunglasses of his, but you can tell he was quietly gauging the competition.

His face move ever so slightly as it tracks across the audience, until it comes to a stop right where you're standing.

Wait.... was he looking at you? You weren't too sure.

And with that, as quickly as he appeared, the Meijin exits the stage, having made his presence known. The crowd continues to cheer and you're just left standing there dumbfounded.

Did... did the Meijin just single you out?

You guess you'll find out eventually.

X-X-X

NTR Mode

If there was a Purgatory for Gunpla, thought Ali, this could probably be it.

The stock RX-0 Unicorn Gundam gunpla was tired. Of lording over the rest of her meek sister Gunpla from the topmost shelf of the display cabinet that served as her throne. Of Gunpla battles, once her joy and pride, which had become routine to the point of pointlessness.

She could not bring herself to get excited about anything anymore. Not after the millionth time using NT-D Mode as the opening move to steamroll the opponent. And certainly not after Kenneth co-opted any possible challenge through underhanded means, turning the few remaining potential challenges into harmless puppets that danced to his tune.

Her fighter had changed for the worse. He used to be a decent boy, an excellent builder, and a honorable, if unimaginative, fighter. Now Kenneth waged war to the knife on and off the battle table. He used underhanded tactics, exploited his allies and even sacrificed teammates to gain the slighest edge in combat.

Ali missed Karen. The girl was an excellent pilot and a good influence on Kenneth. They even looked cute together.

And then her fighter just had to drive her away with his thoughtless, selfish acts...

Ali ruthlessly reeled in that train of thought. It was disloyal of a Gunpla to criticize her own fighter. All she could do, all she needed to do, was to be there for him when he needed her.

The door opened. Ali made to greet the returning Kenneth.

The boy who entered wasn't her battler. He was followed by a girl who wasn't Karen.

Ali gasped. She recognized the intruders. Jack Foulke and Lucina Ramirez were members of the Sorcerers, the new team that Karen had formed to oppose Kenneth. The Sorcerers were an eclectic group of fighters who had been giving the Gunpla Club some serious headaches. Especially Foulke and his absurd yet deadly GN Jesta Juggler Gunpla.
>>
>>34918596
I can't remember the GINN and the Silver Bullet. Probably misremembering the GP01 too.

Been so very very long since I last touched anything in the Gundam universe.
>>
>>34918661

Kenneth wouldn't have invited his enemies here. (Except maybe for Karen; Ali attributed that to hormones and considered that a good idea instead of a bad one.) But certainly not the delinquent thug and Mr. Deathjester, as some of the Gunpla Club members called him.

What were they doing here in Kenneth's room?

As Ali watched them, trying to find out what they were up to, Foulke caught sight of her. His eyes widened with surprise. Then his questing gaze turned intent.

She did not like that speculative look in his eyes. Her fears proved true when he approached her with obvious mischief in mind.

They were here to steal her! Or even destroy her! They were just as bad as Kenneth!

Again Ali crushed the traitorous thought. There was no time for extraneous useless blathering. Not when Foulke had reached her shelf and was reaching for her with hands that were surprisingly not grubby.

Ali suppressed the overwhelming need to scream and struggle. Was this the end? Then she would face it with dignity.

At the last possible second, Foulke's fingertips halted mere millimeters from her face. Then he pulled back his hand.

Ali was confused. Why the change of heart?

Instead of seizing her, Foulke was now peering at Ali. His gaze roved all over her movable frame, as if his mind's eye was peeling off her armor plating to pore over her full body psycoframe with an experienced eye.

Ali blushed. She would have covered up her classified parts if she could move. It felt so embarassing to be ogled so seriously by a boy who wasn't her fighter.

But when was the last time Kenneth had looked at her like this? She could not remember. He never let anyone look at her and he only worked on her if she had been damaged, and the last time -which had been a pretty good time and fight- had been a long, long time ago.

Her fighter used to be considerate and gentle. Like this boy. Foulke. Jack Foulke.
>>
>>34918661
The cancer is real
>>
>>34918703

Shame shed from Ali like water. She began to delight and even revel in the ogling of her white figure. She would have activated NT-D if possible, assumed Destroy Mode to display her full body psycoframe in all its glowing green glory.

I'm such a slut, a tiny part of her wailed over her wanton preening and prancing in the eyes of Foulke. I'm betraying Kenneth. I'm cheating on him with his enemy.

The rest of her tuned out that voice. It felt so good to be admired, to be watched and wanted, by someone who knew her worth, who could surely bring out her best.

All good things ended. Jack reluctantly took his eyes off Ali and headed for his companion.

Ali didn't care. She just wanted Jack to look her again. His attention was a drug, an elixir. What more his hands? Those fingers?

But it was all right. She would see him again soon enough at the competition. She hoped it would be a real fight this time around. No. She was sure of it.

For now Ali basked in the warm memory of Jack's gaze, wondering what it felt to be his gunpla and feeling just a tad bit jealous and plenty covetous.

X-X-X

In Jack's room, a certain GN Jesta Juggler growled. "My Dual Band Radar is pinging," Gem muttered. "Jack’s cheating on me again… whoever it is, I’m going to crush her…"

The Balls attached to her shoulders mounts shuddered. 'Holly,' they silently begged their Lady and G-Saviour, 'please save us...'

Again, thanks a bunch for an awesome quest, Merc!

>>34918678
GINN is the Cosmic Era equivalent of a Zaku. Only difference is that it has a sword instead of an axe. Otherwise it's completely the same.

Silver Bullet is a INCOM-use suit. Lots of wire-guided weapons, including rocket punch hands. Looks like an average Gundam, though it isn't officially one..

GP01 is the next-generation Gundam made by Anaheim Electronics in Stardust Memory. It's basically just the RX-78, but better.

Fine. But the ZAKU still isn't an analogue to the Zaku. It's more like a Marasai.
>>
So Ginn vs Zaku II who would win?
>>
>>34919086
Zaku II. The GINN has a limited power supply, as do all mobile suits in the Cosmic Era that aren't piloted by a protagonist or major villain. The Zaku II has a fusion reactor, though, giving it much better combat endurance.
