You are Layla Miller, committee of patricide and assassin in training. Currently you're watching the CQC teacher dodge fake mortars while screaming insults, well at least you assume he's screaming insults, You can't really hear him over the fake mortars. Mr.Fraust meanwhile is laughing, his one arm thrown back into the air.

"LAYLA" You hear a familar voice shout.

"Oh hey Maria" you say turning around. Your roommate looks like she just woke up judging from the state of her hair and clothing "I didn't expect you to take this class"

"What?" She says sounding slightly confused "No, I was just looking for you"

"Why?" you ask "Do you need someone dead or something?"

"No, it's just that" she says "well, you were stabbed three days ago and". You stand up, interrupting her.

"I remember, I just don't see what is has to do with anything" You say. Maria hits her forehead with a heavy sigh

"Look, your wound isn't healed completely yet" She says "You shouldn't be moving around to much"

"But I was released from the infirmary" You say "So I should be alright"

"that's because you defied all laws of medical science and survived having who knows what drugs put into you" She says "You shouldn't be walking around three days after being stabbed, yet alone working with explosive".

"Well as long as I'm careful, i'll be alright" You say turning back to Mr.fraust and the mortar show. Suddenly however, Maria grabs you by your shoulders and begins dragging you back.

"Hey" You shout "What are you doing, let go!"

"Making sure you don't get yourself hurt" She says "No stop struggling, you'll just open the wound up".

"HELP" You shout "MY ROOMMATE IS KIDNAPPING ME".

"Oh just be quite, this is for your own good Layla" She says ignoring your flailing around. She was surprisingly strong, and you were unable to free yourself from her grip.
>>
You're eventually dragged to room 1856, having given up any attempts at escaping

"Ok, now just stay here" Maria says running off, locking the door behind her.

You scream in impotent rage, before deciding to make the best of your captivity, by using maria's laptop to find out her secret shames and such. Opening up, you see that she forgot to logout. you also see her background is some anime girls around a table having tea.
You open up the browser, and check her search history, it looks like she cleared most of it out not too long ago, damn, but you do see several pages of youtube videos and searches for various things
the latest of which is: Don't use my laptop, Layla
"Oooops" You say giggling.

you look through her folders, finding one called anime, another titled reaction pics, a third called emulators, and another saying, don't open this Layla.

You decide to open it and........uuuuuh.....UUUhhh....welll urm, you decide to close it quickly, blushing furiously. You also notice several shortcuts
one of which is steam

There's some soft music playing in the background and some text that explains the backstory of the girl, who's strangely enough called Maria Smith. How she left her parents to move in with her grandparents in this town, and how she wishes to make some new friends
the scene soon ends, where you expect the first choice would take place
you the decide to open one of the ones with FemMc and

"Laaayla" Maria says "You didn't look at anything off limits did you?"

"N...no" You say feeling her stare burn a hole into the back of your head

"Good" She says "I got you some nice warm soup and a couple of movies to watch until you're fully healed".

"T..thanks" You say standing up, avoiding Maria's gaze as you sit down on your bed.

You begin eating the soup, and quickly realize who ever made it put way to much garlic, and you aren't supposed to put garlic in tomato soup, it burns your throat and makes your eyes water from the strong and almost violent flavor. Coughing you ask Maria "Can you start a a movie or something" You say "It's better than just sitting around doing nothing". She nods and puts a colorful disc in the dvd player, before sitting down on her bed. Judging from the opening advertisements, it's an anime. You look at the box and see a girl with pink hair and a boy with a stupid looking beanie.

"I think you'll like this one a lot, Layla" Maria says happily.

"Whys that?" you ask between spoonfulls of horrible soup.

"You'll see" She says mockingly.

Since it came up in /qtg/ apparently. If you want to cut down on the murder and all that okay, but please not too much.
Not playing "actually nice person MC#1293" is the draw of this quest for me. And obviously a lot of others didn't mind the psycho killer behaving like one either. I would hate to see this degenerate into generic whacky high-school quest because of some unreasonable "edge" idea.
>>
>>35137136
good point, her tastes could be absolute shit. We must investigate further so that we can decide whether to kill her or not.
>>
Meanwhile somewhere else entirely

Alex, is what everyone here calls you, in truth you have no name, you need none, names are things to be tracked by, to be killed by, not to mention you're forced to share you quarters with an annoying creature that won't stop trying to talk to you as you rest to regain your strength. What's with all the talking, you've wondered since you've gotten here, why is everyone always talking to eachother. It makes no sense to you and you don't care to find out why people are wasting precious time with talking to people who're going to die someday. Madness
it's simple madness
like everything else in this world, it makes little sense.
You shake your head and continue on with your painting.

At least you can still paint, you think to yourself smiling slightly as you create a beautiful scene of flowers, rusted machinery, and dried blood.

You may have to see about getting a job later today, but that is something for later.

Meanwhile in room 1856
"So, why would a god willingly give up his power" You ask "and to the winner of a murder tournament at that, it makes no sense".

"it's just the plothook" Maria says "without it there'd be no story"

"Also cellphones telling the future" You say "that kill the user when they're broken, those don't seem that helpful"

"Just shut up and watch the anime Layla" She says

"Fine" You say laying back down.

Several hours later

"I like this little kid" You say smiling as you watch the colorful images on the screen.

"Is it because of the poison?" Maria asks

"Yes" You say.

"Well you're going to enjoy the next few scenes then" She says laughing

Soon

"Layla come out of the bathroom" Maria says "he was just a character in anime".

"He should've won dammit" You pout

"That isn't how animes work Layla" Maria says "the hero needs to survive to the end most of the times".

"He should've been the hero then" You shout

"Why are you so upset about this?"Maria asks"it's an anime about people killing eachother"
>>
>>35137192
"Which I am pretty sure you did a lot off" Maria says"

"That was different" You say

"Killing real people is different from fake people dying" She says sounding very angry

"....yes?" You say.

"You're not making much sense here Layla" She says "You're upset that a fake character died, but you're perfectly fine with killing actual people".

"Well actually killing people is fun" You say "watching someone die is not".

"You poison people" Maria shouts "And laugh about it"

"So did he" You say crossing your arms

"He wasn't real" Maria says, judging from the sound of it, she just laid down on her bed.

placing a hand on your wound, you decide to pay your "friend" the nun a visit. You wonder how long she can last with a cocktail of poisons in her system. Probably not long, but then again maybe you should leave her alive, to make her fully realize her mistake in trying to kill you, sure you went looking for her, but that doesn't change the fact she stabbed you, which is a crime that can't be left unpunished, or should you say a sin.

After some searching you find the agent with the cracked lense near the cafferteria, reading a paper

"Now what are you doing out so late" he says "don't you know there are killers about?"'

"Where's the nun" You say "I have something I need to give her"

"want to visit your friend eh" he says laughing "well follow me, and don't make a noise"

"Also how do I take a job" You say "I need a little spending money after all"

"Building E" He says "and you may want to let yourself heal first"

"Bah, I can handle whatever is thrown at me" You say.

you're lead to the same room you were taken three days ago, in the middle of which is the nun, in white T shirt and jeans, her old clothing no where to be seen. She looks up at you and glares

Filling a syringe with muscle relaxant you slowly walk towards her, grinning wide as you watch her lose her calm demeanor once again.

"Oh did you lose the person I fought three days ago, horsefur?" you ask mockingly "because I don't remember her being this much of a coward".
The agent says nothing.
You grab one of her arms, causing her to try and pull back, before being stopped by the rope that bound her still. you make sure there are no air bubbles in it, don't want this to end to quickly, and inject her.
before sitting down and watching her
it isn't long before her arm falls limp, you wonder how much it would take to make all of her limp.
Taking a new syringe and filling with the paralytic, you inject her other arm and watch as it stops moving with her struggles, causing her to whine behind the piece of cloth gagging her.

"No isn't this fun" You say "I mean for me at least, I know it must be terrifying for you, but that just makes it all the more exciting for me".

you open up the bottle of pills, counting out two pills and removing her gag
"AAAh" You shout as she bites into your hand, not hard enough to draw blood. You smack her on the nose with your free hand and force the pills into her mouth, making her swallow before watching her slowly fall asleep after making some pitiful noises

"Her chanting got annoying real quick" The agent says "and she tends to bite, she's got spirit, have to give her at least that". you nod.

"Well I have to get going now" You say "See you later nun, we'll play again later"

You leave the room and find yourself in the garden once again, alone. You feel a chill run down your spine as you look around, the only light from the moon and stars, someone could be watching you, right now. You shake these thoughts from your head

You need to learn a bit more about poison, you think as you begin walking towards the map. you quickly find the class for just that. It's a bit father out than most and has a green house attachment from the looks of the map. You begin walking there, and notice the path turns into one made of worn down wooden boards. There is a faint scent of salt in the air, but you ignore it as you walk towards the small building on a hill. You feel a sense of unease as you get close, and swallowing your fears, you throw open the somewhat broken door.

"Hmm" A feminine voice says "Didn't expect any visitors this early".

"this is the poison class right?" you ask, looking around for a body to give to the voice

"Yes, but isn't it a bit to early for teaching" The voice yawns "I just woke up"

"Well I'm not leaving" You say.

"Oh, you're a cruel one" The bodiless voice moans from, above you?. You look up and see a woman with grey hair hanging on one of the rafters, she looks young except for her hair.

"What are you doing up there?" you ask with a laugh.

"I sleep up here" She says "it's actually quite comfy".

"So are you going to teach me anything or?" you ask. She rolls out of sight

"there are some books over there" She yawns "should be something useful for you in there, just be quite about it". This place looks abandoned, all the furniture is covered in dust and webs, or broken. the only part of it that looks clean and new is a single book shelf filled to bursting with books

You somehow manage to pry one loose and begin reading. it seems to be about cultivating your own poisonous plants, you spend an hour or two reading it, before you decide that you've learned enough about the various types of deadly flowers today. As you head out you can hear a soft snore.

"what a useless teacher" You mutter as you leave the run down building.

"Whoa" You say, looking to your left for the first time during your trip up here.

You decide to get a job. before maria drags you back to your room again. After a bit of sitting you find a surprisingly small building much farther inland. It looks more extravagant than the other buildings, and has a large gold coin on the front of it. Walking up the marble steps, you see the doormat also has a coin on it, and so do the doors. You open them with some effort, and see a couple of older students milling around, looking at little pieces of paper, as well as some first years looking a bit out of place. You look around an notice a board with various pieces of paper, you notice several in fact, with various letters above them, you assume these denote difficulty of the job or something. You look at some of them and notice things like "Bring me the head of the man who killed my brother" "Kill these following diplomats" "kill my brother" and various other things. A second year notices you.

"First job?" he says "I'd recommend you start small, safe ya know". You nod, after some searching you find the following jobs

You choose the fat man in a suit, with his thin mustache and double chin. You wonder what you do now, before noticing the desk. with a bored looking man behind it. You smile and go hand the bounty over to him

"Hmmm" he says "Oh, accepting this job then, well follow me then". He gets up, and you notice his dress is similar to the agents you sometimes see, but it looks different, more like an army uniform really. He grabs a cane and motions you to follow him into a small room.

"Okay" He says as you walk in "You're taking the reward for Don Hida, a low class Yakuza with an ego the size of his ass, We'll supply you with some things to help you with your job". He then pulls back a curtain revealing a wall of...stuff, guns, armor, clothing, and strange little out of place knick nacks

"You can take three" He says sitting down

Current appearance: foreign exchange with a cat eared hoodie, slight increased chance to go unnoticed in this mission.
Bonus Adjectives: Make it looks like some rival yakuza did it, escape without alerting the police or anyone else of your deed
Bonus rewards: to be revealed

"Oh, going for a stealthy kill are ya?" He laughs handing you the items "Well more power to you then I suppose".

"So now what?" You ask like the excitable school girl you are, jumping up and down.

"uuuh, well" He says "HEY WHAT'S THAT OVER THERE".

"What?" You ask "I don't see any"

*Clonk*

You awaken in a room lit by a red light, with a slight pain in the back of your head. You can hear a noise, you can't quite tell what it is.

"Finally awake are you?" A new voice asks

"Did that asshole knock me out with a baseball bat or something?" you ask rubbing your head

"Maybe, I don't know, I just picked you up" The voice says "We'll arrive there shortly, hope you know Japanese"

"I don't" You say "but I think i can manage, never been to another country before, this is going to be exciting"

"This isn't a vacation" the voice says "You're here to kill and get out, understand?"

"Oh I know that" You say smiling "I can't wait to get started"

"Oh so you're one of the crazy ones then?" the voice asks "Well, just don't kill any civilians, the boss hates it when you do that, calls it barbaric or something".

"Where's the fun in that?" You laugh.

Soon
You're on the edge of a town, noise and lights and everything else filling the night.

"Hey" You call out sitting down next to him and looking at his eyes. He turns and looks at you, saying something in japanese.

"uuuh" You say wishing you bought a book or something "sorry I don't really know japanese".

"Then why are you here?" He says "seems rather silly to not know the language of the land"

"Well" You say, slightly shocked he can speak English "You see....I just got here from a foreign exchange program, and I was wondering where...".

"You're lying" He says.

"How did you know?" You ask

"I didn't" He says "Until you told me".

"Oh you crafty devil" You say smiling "so what are you doing up here anyways, if you're going to jump I can help".

"No, I'm not here to kill myself" He says "well at least not now, I'm waiting for some news".

"What kind of news?" You ask "because if it's about the economy I recommend jumping right now"

"No" he says "I am waiting for the death of the man who killed my family, once I hear word of his fat corpse being laid to rest, I may finally join them in death",

"Don't worry" You say laughing "I'll make sure that bastard dies tonight". The man stops, turns around and stares at you

"I'm not, for once" You say standing up "I'm an assassin of the lucky coin, well in training at least, and I'm here to kill him". He walks closer and sits down next to you

"I was expecting someone with more experience" He says smiling "Did not know they sent little girls to kill".

"Well if you're telling the truth" He says pulling some out of his pocket "Put this between his eyes for me will you?". It's a bullet, with an ogre demon thing carved on it.

"So where can I find him" You ask "Can't kill him if I don't know where he is".

"A club, not far from here" He says "They'll let you in, the man has the tastes of a monster".
You stand up, plan forming in your head.

"also, girl, try not to kill my brother" he calls out "he looks like me, except he's missing an eye".

You jump up, and suddenly you're much higher than you were a few second ago. falling down, not so gracefully in some (thankfully bagged) trash, you try again and can see i.....Uuuuuh.....UUUUUH. Ok no more jumping to look into windows, you say rubbing the back of your head after you fall down. You really need to get the hang of these things

"Ok, time for plan B" You say dusting yourself off.

"Heeeeeeeeey" you say trying to sound seductive "I have thing for big scary Yakuza like yourselves, care to". They look at you in confusion and say something angrily in Japanese

"Of course" you say "You don't know english, well time for Plan C". Just then two girls around your age, but far less dressed with a dead look in their eye walk by, and the two toughs motion for them to enter, and then go back to looking at the street, luckily they don't notice you tailing them. You have a feeling they're going to have a finger or two cut off. Well you're now in the club, and it smells of smoke, sweet, and booze. You try and find the bathroom, luckily there are signs. As you make your way through the small mob of large men and scantily clad women, you look around the place. Seeing that most of the yakuza looking folks are distracted with women or beer, you can also see several guns on them, maybe you could take one? You also notice the stairs leading up to...those rooms, the barkeeper looks mean, with a hair covering on of his eyes and a face that's covered in scars. You go into the bathroom, and look for an unoccupied stall, you find one that is unlocked and go in, locking it behind you as you open up your pack, and prepare all of your syringes

We don't just want to walk out like we had sex. We want to leave a scene that suggests we had sex.
>>
>>35144275
>Just use a pillow to silence it.
That's not gonna work.

This isn't your regular pistol. It's a proper revolver and those things make a BANG.
>>
>>35144324
it only reduces the sound by about 20dB, which is nowhere near enough to cover the sound of a gunshot with background noise, unless we turn the music up or cover the shot with other sounds
>>
>>35144330
We dragged him into the room unconsciou, the other guy saw it afterall. It would be pretty strange if we had "too much" apparent sex.

There you go.
>>
>>35144238
Backing
>>35144295
>>
>>35144324
You do know how revolvers function right?

All those gasses that come out the cylinder gaps are not effected by the pillow.
>>
>>35144275
>If yes, end him. Can't have him wake up and raise trouble.
Sure, but we should either end him with suffocation or more poison. No need to leave traces that he's been killed. We want the next guy to walk in to see that he's had a good time. Not to raise the alarm.

It's better if they figure out he's dead when he won't wake up than when they look at the room.
>>
>>35144386
yeah, we should use a pillow to suffocate him, make it look like he passed out from the sex and choked on his tongue or something
>>
>>35144373
He raises a good point, the pillow think won't really work with a revolver.
>>
>>35144373
I know perfectly well how it works, and yes, the revolover shot will be dampened if you put it in a pillow, it won't make the sound go away, bnut enough that with distance and background noise, and this place has plenty background noise, it can go unnoticed. And since the bullet is our best way to make it look like Yakuza did it, it seems worth the extra effort.
Unless you want to put it between his eyes some other way, which could work too, but would be far messier.
>>
>>35144368
>It would be pretty strange if we had "too much" apparent sex.
We don't need to put on an hour-long screaming performance. We just want to make some noises etc for people to know "room's being used."
>>
>>35144427
This is all stupidly risky. Suffocate the guy. It's so much cleaner, wastes no resources, and doesn't get the yakuza up our ass.

There's really no good reason for us to shoot him.
>>
>>35144442
>There's really no good reason for us to shoot him.
Yes, because we are supposed to make sure they think the Yakuza did it. Thats the reason.
>>
>>35144442
Not this guy you idiot, that anon is talking about killing the big boss with that special round we were given.

If we want to make it look like another yakuza did off the big man, we need to use that bullet, so we need to crank up some noise, paralyse the fat man, and use the bullet
>>
>>35144427
No no no, we already have a way of making it look like the yakuza did it, and I highly doubt the background noise and music are loud enough to muffle it without putting everyone on high alert.

Just poison and paralyze him, suffocate him, cut off the finger with the biggest, gaudiest ring, and leave through the window.
>>
>>35144451

we kill him. yakuza kill people. that's good enough
>>
>>35144467

>>
>>35144467
>>35144451

We don't need to shoot him with the round, there is no extra for it, the guy just gave it to us. Seriously, there are ways of making it look like the Yakuza did it without making a lot of noise.
>>
>>35144467
>killing the big boss with that special round we were given
Oh yes, absolutely we should shoot the boss as requested. But we're not killing the boss yet. We're still on this guy.
>>
>>35144470
And what happens when it doesn't work as planned? When they don't go for it?

That bullet we were given was engraved especially to send a message.

Though it would be helpful if OP clarified if we're meant to shoot him with it, or leave it lying between his eyes.

Because I can't see how they would know its from yakuza if we shoot him with it, how would they see the engraving then?
>>
>>35144478
>what the hell makes you think *shooting* him is going to make a special yakuza sign out of it?
Because we use a bullet specifically given to us by a Yakuza as sign of recognition in case you haven't paid any attention whatsoever.
>>
You check to see if red head is breathing, and find he is, weakly.

"Hope it was good for you" you whisper into his ear with a smile. And then you go about your work, after waiting for a couple of minutes, you begin to mess the sheets up, after removing his shirt, all the while moaning and making sure the bed squeaks to keep away any frisky yakuza. After you're done, and the place looks suitably messed up. You begin to throw your hair around, making sure to have strands of it hanging down over your face before you make your clothes disheveled. You leave the door, and do your best to looks sorry for yourself, but inside you're laughing at your own genius. You are now upstairs.

You can take a bullet out of a corpse. Its done with victims of shooting to identify the murder weapon.

Its what he probably meant. But he didn't say it. And we have really no obligation to do what he asks besides it being useful to us.

Calm down, we aren't going to do it if circumstances make it a risk to the mission to go through with it. Its a little fanciful request that we indulge as far as it serves us. If we end up not having the opportunity then thats how it is.
But if we get the opportunity to do something fun with it, why might as well.

>>
>>35144735
With the way you guys are pushing it, I'm not so sure you aren't going to do it even though it's stupid. We already have a good way of making it look like the Yakuza.

The Yakuza are VERY well known for cutting off fingers to send a message, that is all we need to do. Do not jeopardize the mission in any way.

We're for the idea.

We're not for doing it if we think it will get us caught.

Relax.
>>
>>35144792
No one is pushing anything, this whole thing escalated from the one comment about how we COULD use shooting without it being a isntant give-away.
That somehow makes the anons who are still mad about that think its still about the shooting even though everyone else has moved on to finding alternative ways of putting it between his eyes some other way if we can.
>>
>>35144774
Several people including the QM already endorsed the alternative ways of doing it. Plus it has the advantage of preserving the engraving making it a even clearer lead to our Yakuza friend.
And I'd be hilarious.
>>
>>35144818
Why even waste the time to do it? it's not even that funny. And spending more time then necessary will put the mission in jeopardy and make it more likely we'll get caught.

You're getting tired of this place, the scent of it alone is making you want to go the way of the depressed guy on the bridge. There's a large door, with imagery of dragons, maidens, and dragons.
You raise your hand and knock on it.
You hear something stumbling around on the other side.
After a minute or two, a large man in what looks like a satin bathrobe opens the door. He smells like smoke, and greed,

He looks at you, and says something in japanese. He glares at you for a minute.

"Don't tell me they sent another foreign girl for me tonight" he says slowly, trying to not trip on his words. Of all of the people to speak english, it has to be you doesn't it, you think to yourself

You bow, trying to look as Mariaish as possible.

"S..sorry Mr.Hida" You say trying to sounds slightly scared "I hope I am to your tastes". He looks at your for a moment, finger in his nose.

"Ah, it will be fine for one more night, even rare meat gets boring eventually" He says beckoning you in "Come in". You follow and wow this is a really nice room, The bed looks fit for a king, or at least made to look like it is. There's a katana hanging over the bed. Mr.Hida lights a cigar as you look around the room, and notices your eyes caught on the weapon

"You like it?" he asks looking down at you "Got it off some....uh....vermin a year or two ago, want to see it up close".

"Oh I'd very much like to see your sword" You say, thinking you sound like that game you found on maria's laptop. He laughs and takes it down after some stumbling around. You can see it up close now. The scabbard looks to be made from bamboo, the blade shines in the candle glow of the room, the guard has the same ogre demon things on it, two of which are dancing on the base of the blade. the hilt is wrapped in a yellow cloth, and the end is capped by a square piece of bronze.

"A real beauty isn't she" Mr hida says twisting it back and forth "It deserved better than those vermin".

"Well it got better" You say "I mean it's in your hands now, what could possibly be better than that". He looks at you for a moment and smiles. He places the katana back in it's place

"Come here" He says "I think I'll enjoy my imported dessert now".

Let's say yes, but we would very much like to keep it. It's our trophy for a successful first mission. We will treat it honorabry.

Yes wins.
>>
"yes" You say showing it to him "But it's mine, this was my first mission afterall, don't want to forget it now do".

"I do not care what you do with the blade" he says "just let me see it for a moment, and you will have my blessing to use it however you will". You hold it out, and he clutches it in his hand.

"My father's sword" He says "I am not fit to wield it, but I shall be it's first meal in a long time, look well young killer" He unsheathes the blade and puts it against his stomach

"what are you doing?" You ask, remembering you need to get out of here still.

"Going to meet Mr.Hida in hell" He says "perhaps i will someday meet my family once again, bu the sins that weigh upon my shoulders is far too great, and I am only fit to be food for the dogs". and in an instant he drags the sword across, without making a noise, bleed begins flowing from his mouth as he sheaths the sword placing it on the ground, and pulls himself over the bridge as the little light in his eyes fade, and he falls forward, dead

You wonder what he meant by sins, you shake your head, you'll never know now. You pick up the sword and it feels surprisingly warm, and for a moment, you feel like your being watched, you turn and see no one.

"I really need to start sleeping more" You say as you walk towards the extraction point.

Soon
You're sitting in the helicopter that took you there.

"Well color me shocked" The pilot asks "I was expecting you to die, so how'd you do it anyways".

"I wasn't an idiot" You answer smiling as you look over the sword "I thought out my every move".

"Well, I'm sure the boss will be happy" He says "not often first years do that well".

"Oh now you're making me blush" You say sarcastically. The pilot laughs.
By time you get back to the school, it's morning. And as you step on to the ground you see a familar face

"Oh hello maria" You say as you see her glaring at you as she slowly approaches you.

"Now I know you're mad" You say backing up.

(cont)
>>
>>35145819

"You went on a mission" She says "with a stab wound"

"Well I got back safe didn't I?" You say as she gets closer

"You could've died" She says getting closer.

"I'm sorry if you were worried about me" You say "B...but I got you a present". She looks at you for a moment.

"See I got a revolver off some thug" You say pulling it out of your backpack "and I thought you may need one since you keep losing yours".

"That isn't going to save you Layla" She says grabbing you "But thank you, I'll make sure you're nice and comfortable while you heal".

Mission complete
Bonus Objectives complete
rewards basic: 3,450 dollars, extra: 450 dollars,, and a lucky coin

Secret objective found: Bring back Isamu (bridge guy) his father's sword: reward: the katana, still strangely warm

I think now is a good time to stop, I'm going to archive this now, but will be around to answer questions and chat

This is the girl who killed her dad just to test out a poison then started experimenting on her mother too.

She also burned down a school and paralyzed the people in it so they were nice and conscious while they were burning.

For the lulz (and science).

Yes, I'm sure she has a code of ethics deep down anon.
>>
>>35146177
If Maria died would Layla care?
>>
>>35146203
Vaguely, I reckon.

It'd be a hassle and she has to adjust to a new roommate and doesn't know how trustworthy they are.

But then, she doesn't know how trustworthy Maria is either. Girl acts innocent but we haven't quite figured out how her psycho side operates yet.

Kinda depends on how annoying the new roommate is. If the new roommate is awesome she's probably gonna celebrate.
>>
>>35146203
She would be upset. But she'd get over it fast since they've known eachother for like five days. But if maria stays alive for awhile, then dies, well that's another story
>>
>>35146198
she doesn't have a code of ethics, never said she did, but she clearly felt something when remembering and thinking about her family, she's the same when dealing with Maria ever since we first met her
>>
>>35146254
Sure she feels something.

Layla has emotions after all. Her cheerful disposition isn't fake. She just doesn't have a conscience. Guilt is not a feeling she is personally familiar with. Neither is loss, really, because she doesn't form that kind of personal attachment.
>>
>>35146270
But she can develop personal attachments according to OP >>35146228
>>
>>35146279
She killed her dad and her classmates for the lulz and was poisoning her mom. They seemed to be a nice family too.

>>
>>35146360
Forming attachments is fine. But not the kind of attachment where their absence leaves a hole.
>>
>>35146401
Its not at all, nothing she did suggests she doesn't form attachments. She just didn't have strong ones to her parents. Or not strong enough to keep her from experimenting.
>>
Why do you guys always talk about if Layla is a sociopath or not?
>>
>>35146401
Then this is obviously not the quest for you.
I don't disagree with wanting to play a complete sociapath, but it is ultimately the QM's desicion if Layla grows attached to the people around her or not.
>>
>>35146426
Because they are idiots.
>>
>>35146426
Considering that legitimate sociopathy has a pretty severe impact on a persons behavior and motives, its important. And she does have character traits indicating at least a certain amount of sociopathy.

But honestly, we just don't have any murders to discuss now is the real reason.
>>
>>35146426
Because she is hard to pinpoint. The stuff she did to her parents would lead you to believe she is devoid of empathy, but that is not always how she acts.
>>
>>35146428
Wow, playing the asskisser card? Look, inconsistent writing is weak writing.
>>
>>35146463
Not that anon, but the only inconsistent thing here is you.

Why don't you go and reread the archives because you clearly didn't read them the first time around as you have no idea about Layla and her characterisation
>>
>>35146446
>The stuff she did to her parents would lead you to believe she is devoid of empathy
It's a common mistake to conflate empathy and sympathy but they're not the same. Not at all.

Empathy is about your ability to understand another person, their feelings, and their needs.

Sympathy is how much you care about these things.

It's very possible to have high empathy while having low sympathy. It's fairly common among sociopaths to be extraordinary social manipulators precisely because of this.
>>
>>35146463
But its not inconsistent. Not having formed strong enough attachments to one group of people doesn't mean she can't have any at all.
The ability of empathy doesn't mean empathy for all people. I don't think any one would claim she is a fully mentally sound person. Her sanity is directly described as "unstable", her behavior and priorities obviously aren't normal.
>>
>>35146475

>>
>>35146498
I found the sanity thing very self-explanatory.
And for the suicide guy, there wasn't really any reason for Layla to care.
>>
>>35146498

Because he bring great dishonor to famry.

This. Just figured he was a standard "honourubu samurai" yakuza and I didn't see why Layla would care about the guy.
>>
>>35146519
Basically, yes, but he did a bit more than that
>>
>>35146490
Not *necessarily*, no. But when you start by killing your family and then roast your classmates alive just because, it goes to show you're not the kind of person to hold those kinds of attachments for either your family or your peers.

I'm not sure what groups are left if you want to believe there are groups she would form these kinds of attachments to.

Ultimately she can become good friends with someone, but I don't think she would really mind if that person kicked the bucket unless she asserted some form of possessiveness over that person in which case she'd mind more because of what that means for her rather than owing anything to the dead.
>>
>>35146550
>I'm not sure what groups are left if you want to believe there are groups she would form these kinds of attachments to.
Stop trying to use logic, your being autistic
>>
>>35146550
>35146550
You don't develop attachments or sympathy for people in categories. It happens on a individual basis. Just because she didn't care much for her peers in school, doesn't mean she will never find a peer she doesn't care about.

What it actually takes to make her give a shit beyond her personal convenience is yet to be seen.
>>
>>35146562
I think you're trying too hard to apply some kind of "normal person" standard to her by generalizing your image of "normal person" to a condition of "human person" but she's an "abnormal person" and therefore does not behave within these expected/proper/natural ways.

Also:
>logic bad
really now?
>>
>>35146550
>I'm not sure what groups are left if you want to believe there are groups
You usually don't like a person just for being ain a group you decided to like. You care because that singular person makes you care, and then another one and so on. You don't devlop attachments with groups but with persons.
>>
>>35146550
To be fair she was trying to avoid actually killing her family, even if she was running lethal tests on them.
>I'm not sure what groups are left if you want to believe there are groups she would form these kinds of attachments to.
How about fellow murderers who have a higher chance of understanding or at least accepting what she does? Because she's kind of surrounded by those now.
>>
>>35146593
>>35146573
Yes but relationships are formed in ways, along patterns.

People always ask "Do you like them as a friend? Do you like them as family? Do you like them as a lover? Etc."

There's a certain "commonality" to these relationships. And the question here is about how this person approaches those commonalities.
>>
>>35146550
>I'm not sure what groups
There's your problem
>>
>>35146644
No, the problem is yours.

You're the one who has to point out what "fits." I'm the one who's pointing out sweeping indicators of things "not fitting."

If you're asking me to prove a negative, you are placing an unreasonable burden of proof upon me, to the point where it is considered a logical fallacy.
>>
>>35146639
I agree with that in sofar that obviously you like certain traits, and you like people that have them.
Stuff like "liking someone as family and so forth" refers to a social standard of how you "normally behave with your family", but that doesn't work with layla because her head is not a normal place. She just might just not care about how she is supposed to conventionally feel about her family for being family.

Of the people she knew so far, maybe none had the traits she liked in a person, considering her personality, she may very well just found them too boring and uninteresting.
>>
>>35146535
Mind elaborating now the thread is over and we won't be seeing him again?
>>
>>35146701
>I agree with that in sofar that obviously you like certain traits, and you like people that have them.
It's more than that. It's also about liking people in the same way.

>Stuff like "liking someone as family and so forth" refers to a social standard of how you "normally behave with your family"
Not exactly. I'm not concerned about the social standard here. I'm talking about the individual's own standards. Not society's.

>Layla's head is not a normal place. She just might just not care about how she is supposed to conventionally feel about her family for being family.
I agree with you there.

>Of the people she knew so far, maybe none had the traits she liked in a person, considering her personality, she may very well just found them too boring and uninteresting.
That's possible but I'm a bit inclined to disagree with you there because given Layla's personality she seems to enjoy and like people well enough. It's just that to Layla "liking" does not exactly mean what it conventionally means. It doesn't quite come with all the baggage it does for normal people.

And that's part of how she's a sociopath.
>>
>>35146713
Basically, He was a part of a now dead yakuza family, and friends with Mr.Hida since childhood
Hida comes to ask him to help him get out of the bottom of the barrel
he agrees and kills a few people for him,
gets greedy
keeps killing people
father tells him he's being a shit after awhile of this
Hida decides he want bridge guy's family's territory
Bridge guy refuses to kill them, since he still loves them
Hida is angered by this
forces Bridge to watch his family die, including his new born son
becomes a bitter and suicidal alcoholic
bar keep was his brother and was worse than he was, as he helped kill his family
which bridge guy was unaware of
>>
>>35146775
>It's more than that. It's also about liking people in the same way.
But "liking someone as family" only is meaningful if both people involved have the same understanding what that means.
If both people don't have the same standard, it ceases to have meaning. And clearly family doesn't mean to Layla what it means to people "normally" (of course that differs wildly among sane people already). So, just because she didn't like one group of people doesn't mean she can't form attachments to other people that belong into a similar categorie, if the individuals are different. "Classmates" and "family" are both groups that don't imply any kind of personality trait on the side of the people belonging to them, so its very possible that none of them had any that she found appealing enough to form a real attachment, but she might very well meet people that fall into that group but have these traits.

We don't know if she would poison her sisters for shits and giggles for example, She could just as easily have. Even more easily really.
>>
>>35146915
>If both people don't have the same standard, it ceases to have meaning.
No, people don't need to like each other in the same way for their relationship to have meaning.

>groups that don't imply any kind of personality trait on the side of the people
Yes, because you are focusing on "standard for relationship" rather than "method of relationship."

>We don't know if she would poison her sisters for shits and giggles for example
True. I would suspect "yes she would" obviously.

>She could just as easily have. Even more easily really.
This is idle speculation. We don't know that. Don't try to read into these things too hard or you'll start to mistake theory for fact.
>>

>Given Layla's personality she seems to enjoy and like people well enough. It's just that to Layla "liking" does not exactly mean what it conventionally means. It doesn't quite come with all the baggage it does for normal people.
>
>And that's part of how she's a sociopath.
This is really the crux of my point.

Layla likes people. But she doesn't really mind doing things to them. Or things happening to them.

Because that's the kind of person she is.
>>
>>35146995
>No, people don't need to like each other in the same way for their relationship to have meaning.
You misunderstand, people need to have the same standard for what someone being a friend means, to have the statement "liking someone as a friend" to have a meaning.

People don't like eachother in categories, or because they belong to certain groups, unless that is their criteria. They like individuals for fitting certain criteria. If none of the people in her family or among her classmates fit her criteria for fomring attachments, she just doesn't. If she would have met a person in her school that fits her criteria she would have regardless of how she felt about the rest. Her not having done so with the family and peers she had, doesn't in any way imply she can't form attachments to people that are her family and peers, it just means she hasn't with those she had so far.
>>
>>35146915
She would need a reason to poison her sisters, she accidentally killed her dad by an overdose, but had worked out the right amounts with her mother. She could of moved onto her sisters if she had something worth using on them.

Was her burning the school down a test to see how effective her paralyzing agent when there was a life or death situation?

>You misunderstand, people need to have the same standard for what someone being a friend means, to have the statement "liking someone as a friend" to have a meaning.
I don't quite think so, because it's possible to have drastically different kinds of friends and yet consider them all "friends" in the same sense.

Are you the kind of person who only hangs out with relatively homogeneous crowds?

>Her not having done so with the family and peers she had, doesn't in any way imply she can't form attachments to people that are her family and peers
I think she already has her own style of forming attachments (see above) and thus has no need for your version.

So the kind of attachment you're speaking of simply does not occur for her.
>>
>>35147125
>, because it's possible to have drastically different kinds of friends and yet consider them all "friends" in the same sense.
Sure, because they all have certain traita you like even if these traits differ among them. Usually people don't have one close set of criteria, you can like people for very different reasons and still like them all the same, but they are your friends because you have formed attachments to them, not the other way around, so a friend is something very different from a Peer or family member.
>>
>>35147155
But I haven't presented any version for her forming attachments, I said all the time we don't know in what way she forms attachments, in response to the claim that that her having not formed attachments to Peers and family implies she can't.
>>
>>35147159
>Sure, because they all have certain traita you like even if these traits differ among them.
No, you're focusing way too hard on standards here. This "certain trait" is not necessary.

Because here the important part is not who they are but what they mean to you.

I feel like I'm being too deep for you.
>>
Ok, I want to play a little game now
out of everyone you met
What do you think is wrong with them mentally.
I mean the likes of martin, alex, Maria, Antonio, Maxwell, Mr.fraust...etc
>>
>>35147184
But they mean something to you because they have some thing a trait or characteristic you like. Thats the reason you care. You don't just decide to care about a person, you have a reason, something about them makes you care.
>>
>>35147170
Well, you've already presented a standard for "forming attachments" vs "not forming attachments" in your assertion of her "not forming attachments."

Meanwhile I have asserted that she does "form attachments" so even if the specifics are unstated there seems to be a difference of definition between us which is why I am calling out that while she "forms attachments" they are not "attachments like you say."
>>
>>35147207
>in your assertion of her "not forming attachments
I think you are confusing me with the other anon. I never said she doesn't form attachments. My replies were in response to the guy way back who said that her not having formed attachments to her family and peers implies she can't form any,m which I DISAGREED with.
>>
>>35147201
But the reason doesn't need to be intrinsic to their personality or their behavior. It's only intrinsic to the way you choose to view it.

The reason why I'm mentioning "too deep for you" is because I feel like you keep trying to tie things down to the "outer world" while I'm focusing on the "inner world" of the person whose psyche I am attempting to explore.
>>
>>35147198
Not enough information to evaluate them, really.

>>35147226

>>
>>35147235
Since you can't see a person from their own perspective, obviously any trait you percieve is fundamentally just your perception, thats obvious and self-explanatory not "deep", everything is defined by your perception, you have no other way to assert things.
If you like a person and form attachments, its because you have a reason. Something you see in them makes you care. This may very well be something that only concerns you, but they fit some criteria that makes you care. That isn't necessarily something the person itself is the cause for, but you associate the person with that trait and it makes you care.

Which means you care about the individual, never the group he belongs to.
>>
>>35147251
>but I was saying "that kind of attachment" because I do think she forms attachments even with her family and peers that she burns down
I'm not seeking anything. I am just saying that your assumption her previous behavior towards her family and peers implies anything about the kind of attachments she forms is wrong. Her previous behavior to other people does not imply anything about how she might react ot different individuals.
I have no opinion on what kind of attachments she forms or how she behaves when she does so, nor did I ever offer any.
>>
>>35147277
>obviously any trait you percieve is fundamentally just your perception
Alright no. You're trying to ground it back into basic facts. Props for that. Good way to recenter the discussion, but "facts are obviously subjective" is not an appropriate response to the issue of "it's a facts vs interpretations" thing because the two are nevertheless separate. Because interpretations can do things regardless of facts. People are stubborn beings that way who can discard what facts they choose to in favor of their worldview. And in that way they can see two completely different things the same way because that's how they choose to categorize it. Because they mentally draw the same shapes on separate pieces.

The qualities of the individual are therefore not relevant like you say. It's rather the observer's quality to interpret these individuals that matters.
>>
>>35147319
>The qualities of the individual are therefore not relevant like you say.
I never said they are. Your perceptions of the persons qualities is what matters. I repeadetly said what YOU see in the other person is what matters. YOU see a criteria or characteristic that appeals to you, its completly irrelevant if the person actually has that characteristic as long as you think the person does. But you do need to percieve one. You need to HAVE a reason, the other person doesn't GIVE you a reason.
>>
>>35147348
And you think that reason is fundamentally something they have to be looking for? That's quite presumptuous.

All the same, it's been cool but I've been in this discussion long enough.
>>
>>35147372
>And you think that reason is fundamentally something they have to be looking for?
And this too I never said. It needs to be something that appeals to you, obviously you won't form a positive attachment to a person for having character traits that you hate.
>>
>>35147393
You refuse to give up on external criteria, eh?

But that's still not right. It's possible to make friends and describe people as friends not because they had any quality you were looking for but because you decided that you yourself wanted friends and it didn't matter what kind of people they were. And once you decided on that you started recoloring your perception along those lines to maintain that friendship.

Again internal world vs outer world.

Anyhow, really, I've been around long enough here and I'm not even sure where this conversation is headed anymore (okay, actually I know exactly how to backtrack back to the original points, but really, I'm tired of this now) so I'm out.

see you next thread

Martin clearly has anger issues.
Alex is impossible to tell right now, possibly some kind of mental illnes or compulsive behavior.
I fuckig wished I knew whats wrong with Maria, dissasociated personality ? But her sanity is called stable, she might just actually be completly mentally healthy and gotten here for without actually being a killer personality.
The others are impossible to tell since we haven't seen them act really.
>>
>>35147421
>And once you decided on that you started recoloring your perception along those lines to maintain that friendship.
But thats just you changing your critertia. You having broader criteria doesn't mean having none.
If you say "I don't care what kind of person" usually it doesn't mean you would literally describe anyone as friend.
Although that brings us back to the fact that "friend" has different meaning to different people.
And there is nothing external about them, I don't know where you keep pulling these words I never say.
>>
>>35147467
Because you keep mentioning criteria by which to judge people to maintain a specific definition of friend.

>If you say "I don't care what kind of person" usually it doesn't mean you would literally describe anyone as friend.
It could mean "anyone at this moment I feel like I should have friends who could accept a definition of friendship regardless of whether or not friendship is reciprocated along the same lines"

Augh, really now. This is the last post in this thread.

I'm out.
>>
>>35147439
I can't wait till I get to show what is wrong with maria
>>
>>35147498
>who could accept a definition of friendship regardless of whether or not friendship is reciprocated along the same lines
Do you realise that this is a criteria ? Because it is.

>specific definition of friend
There is no such thing.

Really the whole problem is you continuing to derail the argument into things it simply isn't about to dodge the crux of the issue.
>But when you start by killing your family and then roast your classmates alive just because, it goes to show you're not the kind of person to hold those kinds of attachments for either your family or your peers.
You claimed this. And I pointed out how that is wrong, because her not having formed those kind attachments to the people she knew at home, doesn't imply anything about her ability to form attachments to people who could be classed into the categories of "family" and "peers". It only means he didn't form any with those individuals she knew there that fell into these categories, but its entirely possible she meets people that are her "peers" that she does form attachments to. The same for family.
Thats it.
>>
>>35147509
Shes just like her Chinese video games
>>
>>35147509
I can't wait for you to show us.
I hope she's secretly yandere
>>
>>35147663
My lips are sealed
>>
>>35147701
Yep time to start slipping her sleeping pills so she dosn't do anything while we sleep`
>>
>>35147753
No way that can bite you in the ass
>>
>>35147784
Well if she is into that kind of thing ..
>>
>>35147784
Would be better to put some extremely deadly poison in the schools water supply. The less students there are the less likely it is that somebody will kill us.
>>
>>35147791
ok that's pretty funny
>>
>>35147830
Have Layla ever had any boyfriends/relationships?
>>
>>35147846
back in part one, I was thinking about putting that in her backstory, but I couldn't fit it in well.
So no, she has not
>>
>>35147855
Poor Layla. Kissless virgin at 17.
Not that she cares about stuff like that.
>>
>>35147969
She can't handle that sort of thing.
>>
>>35147999
Odds are she won't need to.
>>
>>35148025
Exactly, Maria will handle that for her.

Doesn't mean that's he's a virgin, if she is a impulsive and looking for buzzes she probaly fucked some random guy(s) at a party
>>
>>35148127
Maybe, but I don't think it is very likely.
>>
>>35148127
I doubt she went to parties, thats not her kind of fun.
She doesn't seem very interested in that kind of thing in general. Not how when asked for interests, she was noted to have unusually little interest in lewd stuff.
She seems to only get lewd for explosions and murder.
>>
>>35148161
And Maria's chinese cartoon games
>>
>>35148194
Didn't seem to appeal to her.
>>
>>35148198
>Blushing furiously
>>
>>35148198
>you the decide to open one of the ones with FemMc and
>You let out a yelp at the sight before you, and you scramble to exit the scene before you, blushing furiously and nearly knocking over some bottles of water
>>
>>35148209
>>35148223
Blushing furiously doesn't mean they appealed to her, just because she considered them lewd.
>>
>>35148161
Yeah but it sounds like she was a weird one at high school and people always invite them so people can laugh at them, beat them up or some shit like that. And if she's hot they could have tried to pressure her into going to fuck her
>>
>>35148240
That means it had to at some base level anon, if she was disgusted or something, she would have had another reaction
>>
>>35148312
She could have been one of those people who was simply ignored. Not weird enough to be bullied, but not one you become friends with.
>>
>>35148312
But she wasn't one of the weird ones, she was a completly ordinary goal that justr didn't socialise much. Her Bio says as much. And really, does she seem like seomeone who would go to a party because she is invited ?
>>
>>35147855
Keep missing this since the first, finally caught up.

Thanks for running!
>>
>>35148435
That reminds me that the guy who wrote our bio recommended we just be killed.
That suggests that Layla is a lot "worse" than the average student.
>>
>>35148514
Might have something to do with how she murdered one of his partners.
But as far as we can tell by now, she really is worse than the average here.
>>
>>35148528
What disturbed him most was the paralyzation/fire stuff. The fact she wanted to kill them painfully.

>Boss, for the love of all that is good and holy do not let this psychopath in the school, we got the autopsies of the victims of the fire, everyone of them had trace of a paralyzing agent in their blood, They were aware as they were roasted alive, you have to be fucked in the head to condemn someone to that fate.

There's also this bit that interests me:
>Her internet search history shows she has a disturbing interest in poisons and explosives, as well as some interesting forms of entertainment.

I wonder what the "interesting forms of entertainment" was.
>>
>>35148575
>Some obscure old cartoon shows, a couple of more fringe animes, documentaries about conspiracies, Subscribed to a digital magazine about how most forms of explosives, mechanisms, and other things work several videos about the supernatural downloaded and saved. Very little of her search history shows anything that could be considered lewd
>>
>>35148639
Good catch, didn't see it there on the bottom of the thread.
So she doesn't follow any main stream tv-series, likes conspiracy documentaries and (probably) doesn't mastrubate.
A bit less interesting than I'd imagined.

I wonder if there was any over-arching theme to the old cartoons, but I'm probably reading to much into it.
>>
>>35148739
>A bit less interesting than I'd imagined.
I imagine boredom was part of why she did all her psycho antics.
>>
>>35147855
Thanks for running Headmaster. Great thread
>>
>>35148794
Probably a mix of boredom and morbid curiosity. OP did say the only reason she poisoned her parents was because she wanted to test out the poisons she'd made.
>>
>>35148739
I fear our charming protagonist may have been a normalfag.

Luckily Maria is here to save her.
>>
>>35148849
She'll hopefully raise Layla's powerlevel.
